- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to Dirty Rush, the truth about sorority life, with
- 0:04Speaker 1: your hosts, me, Gia Giudice.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Daisy Kent, and Jennifer Fessler. Hey guys, welcome back to
- 0:14Speaker 2: another episode of Dirty Rush. I am Sally, and today
- 0:17Speaker 2: we have Hunter Haig with us, one of my longtime friends.
- 0:22Speaker 2: We first met on Clayton's season of The Bachelor, and
- 0:27Speaker 2: we've kind of kept up with our friendship ever since.
- 0:30Speaker 2: How are you doing, Hunter? Doing great. Excited to be here. Yeah,
- 0:34Speaker 2: I'm excited to have you here too. I honestly didn't
- 0:36Speaker 2: know it was you. And then when they said you,
- 0:38Speaker 2: I was like, oh my God, wait, that's my friend.
- 0:42Speaker 3: You're like, wait a second. I actually know her.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Wait a second. I love her. Okay, so you went
- 0:47Speaker 2: to the College of Charleston.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Yes.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Remind me what sorority you were in.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I was in Zeta Tau.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Okay, I'm actually curious about how sorority... is in charleston
- 1:00Speaker 2: because obviously i live there but i don't know anything about.
- 1:03Speaker 1: It yeah so honestly it's college charleston's one of those
- 1:09Speaker 1: schools that you don't have to.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Be in a sorority or fraternity.
- 1:13Speaker 1: But it is it's better to be i guess yeah
- 1:17Speaker 1: um whereas i feel like usc or clemson like you
- 1:21Speaker 1: absolutely should be in greek life um college charleston's kind
- 1:24Speaker 1: of like new you could should, but like, it doesn't
- 1:27Speaker 1: really matter if you don't. Cause there's like a whole
- 1:29Speaker 1: nother like side of that school.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Is it still really like big though? Like is rush
- 1:34Speaker 2: big in, in Charleston? Cause I feel like y'all don't
- 1:37Speaker 2: have a football, like there's no football team. So like
- 1:39Speaker 2: that kind of throws me off.
- 1:40Speaker 1: You know, I'm a football girly, no Greek life at all.
- 1:46Speaker 2: That's all I feel.
- 1:48Speaker 3: No, I know.
- 1:49Speaker 1: No, I know.
- 1:49Speaker 3: But, um, yeah, no, it actually like, it's still really big.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Like There's, I would say, I don't remember exactly how
- 1:57Speaker 1: many people went through Rush or recruitment, but I think
- 2:01Speaker 1: it was something like 25% of the school or at
- 2:05Speaker 1: least of like the freshman class or something like that.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I could be making this up totally, but still really big.
- 2:11Speaker 1: We still have like a huge bidet, all of that
- 2:14Speaker 1: good stuff. We just don't do it in a stadium
- 2:16Speaker 1: because we don't have a stadium. But we do have
- 2:19Speaker 1: like a sorority row, all of that. I actually lived there.
- 2:22Speaker 1: In the Zeta house.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Oh, you did?
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I don't even think I've seen the houses in Charleston.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I need to, like, take a ride down.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Yeah, you should.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:31Speaker 3: It's on Cumming Street.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Oh. Oh, I've not seen that. I don't know.
- 2:37Speaker 3: It's near, like, Meeting Street. It's Meeting Street and Cumming Street.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Like, intersections.
- 2:43Speaker 2: So.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Uh, there's like the Zeta House, Edie Pie, Katie.
- 2:48Speaker 1: There's actually a TikTok that's going viral right now on
- 2:52Speaker 1: Sorority Row at College of Charleston. And people are like, wow,
- 2:55Speaker 1: this looks like a zombie apocalypse.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Wait, was this the Uber driver? Yes. I saw that video. Yeah.
- 3:01Speaker 2: It looked like absolute chaos.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Oh, it looks crazy.
- 3:05Speaker 2: I mean, when I was, I guess it was still
- 3:08Speaker 2: crazy because I rushed to Alabama. So I went to
- 3:12Speaker 2: Alabama my freshman year, which I think you knew that.
- 3:15Speaker 2: And I rushed Alabama, but I rushed KD because I
- 3:20Speaker 2: knew I wanted KD at Carolina and I knew I
- 3:22Speaker 2: was going to transfer. Because I actually really liked Kayo
- 3:28Speaker 2: at Alabama, but I, yeah, I loved the girls at Kayo,
- 3:33Speaker 2: but I ended up doing KD because I knew that
- 3:36Speaker 2: that's what I wanted at South Carolina.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:38Speaker 2: And then you just get like voted in when you
- 3:40Speaker 2: go to Carolina. So that was like easy, but Russia,
- 3:43Speaker 2: Bama was crazy. I mean, I got arrested on bid day.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Sally, why does that not surprise me at all?
- 3:54Speaker 2: I mean, I had the judge or whoever had my
- 3:57Speaker 2: case told me, he was like, there was one thing
- 3:59Speaker 2: that stood out to me in your case. He was like,
- 4:01Speaker 2: you had Sharpie. And like, it was just like Kappa
- 4:05Speaker 2: Delta written all over your body. Like my forehead, my chest,
- 4:09Speaker 2: my arms. He's like, it's like you passed out. And
- 4:11Speaker 2: I was like, no, I let them do that. I
- 4:13Speaker 2: was really excited to be in KD. Like they thought
- 4:15Speaker 2: that I had passed out and people just drew on me.
- 4:17Speaker 2: But that was not the case. But it was really
- 4:21Speaker 2: scary because I'm going to tell a little story. But
- 4:24Speaker 2: on bid day, I got a DM or I think
- 4:28Speaker 2: it was like a Facebook message. And it was from
- 4:31Speaker 2: one of the girls that rushed me at Alabama. And
- 4:33Speaker 2: it was one of my favorite girls. And she said, hey,
- 4:36Speaker 2: did you put Katie as number one? And I was like,
- 4:40Speaker 2: you weren't really supposed to tell people. I said, yes.
- 4:43Speaker 2: And that's, didn't hear from her again. And then that
- 4:47Speaker 2: night we have people knocking on our doors. They take
- 4:49Speaker 2: us from my dorm room, put us in the back
- 4:52Speaker 2: of a car. We're like blindfolded. We have no idea
- 4:54Speaker 2: where we're going. I'm like, great. They're going to go
- 4:56Speaker 2: make me sit in some cow shit or something. Like
- 4:58Speaker 2: the crazy stories that you hear about Rush. And I...
- 5:02Speaker 2: They like take our blindfolds off and there's this huge
- 5:05Speaker 2: house and the doors open. It's like this huge frat party.
- 5:09Speaker 2: And it's like, welcome to Haiti. And this was the
- 5:11Speaker 2: day before bid day.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Before you even knew?
- 5:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Super, super illegal in the college world. But I was like, yeah,
- 5:20Speaker 2: I picked the right one. I was like, this already
- 5:24Speaker 2: knows how to party. But yeah, it was crazy. But
- 5:29Speaker 2: what did y'all have? Like, what did y'all call it?
- 5:31Speaker 2: Like the week of... They call it work week now.
- 5:34Speaker 3: I think it's just rush week.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I think too. And we like, did
- 5:38Speaker 2: y'all do a lot of training? Because it looks super
- 5:41Speaker 2: intense now. Yeah.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:43Speaker 1: So I will not like training, but we had like,
- 5:47Speaker 1: we had like a welcome like situation that would happen
- 5:50Speaker 1: in the arena, like for basketball. And it was just
- 5:54Speaker 1: kind of like going through the ins and outs of like,
- 5:57Speaker 1: you're going to be assigned to a Pi Chi, which
- 5:58Speaker 1: I understand those are like row something at other schools.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:03Speaker 3: But you have like your like leader.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And then they were like, okay, you're going to want
- 6:07Speaker 1: to like take notes after each house that you go to.
- 6:10Speaker 1: So they would give us like allotted time after each
- 6:13Speaker 1: house that we went to, to write down what we.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Felt about them. That's all I really remember. I don't
- 6:19Speaker 3: think there was like extensive training.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. I mean, what are we training for? Well, no,
- 6:25Speaker 2: like when you're in the sorority and you're preparing for
- 6:28Speaker 2: the girls to come through your house. Like we had
- 6:30Speaker 2: to like learn dances. Oh, when you are recruiting. Yeah,
- 6:33Speaker 2: when we were going through Rush.
- 6:36Speaker 1: No.
- 6:37Speaker 3: I have a confession.
- 6:37Speaker 2: No, wait, no. When we were pushing it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, recruiting.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Did you have like star girls?
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yes.
- 6:46Speaker 2: We had star girls that we had to like rush hard.
- 6:48Speaker 3: We had a slideshow.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Yes, we had a slideshow that we would all sit
- 6:52Speaker 1: And watch. And they'd be like, all right, this girl.
- 6:55Speaker 1: And I think they were called star girls. But they would, like, have, like,
- 6:58Speaker 1: multiple pictures of this girl. They'd have her name. They'd have, like,
- 7:02Speaker 1: where she went to school, like, for high school, I guess.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Not that that really matters. And then it would be, like,
- 7:07Speaker 1: these are her extracurriculars. Like, this is her involvement in
- 7:12Speaker 1: community service and all of that kind of stuff. And
- 7:15Speaker 1: then we'd have to rush them extra hard.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:17Speaker 2: That's how we did it, too.
- 7:18Speaker 1: But we would have, like, girls that were, like, specifically
- 7:20Speaker 1: assigned to that girl. yeah because they knew that they
- 7:23Speaker 1: were like really good at recruiting or whatever yeah.
- 7:25Speaker 2: And then I remember so vividly they a girl popped
- 7:29Speaker 2: up on the screen they were like blackballed she slept
- 7:32Speaker 2: with boyfriend or whatever she's not and we would just
- 7:35Speaker 2: like barely rush her we would like not talk to
- 7:38Speaker 2: her which is so mean.
- 7:41Speaker 1: No that is really mean but so Zeta at CFC
- 7:44Speaker 1: was not allowed to do that yeah like I guess
- 7:48Speaker 1: none of us were really allowed to do that.
- 7:50Speaker 2: But there was girls that you were aware of that, like,
- 7:53Speaker 2: you didn't really want.
- 7:54Speaker 3: We could not.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Yeah, like, I mean, and I think more behind the scenes, though, like, of, like,
- 7:58Speaker 1: me just being out there, like, on the front line.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Of all of this. I feel like it was more like,
- 8:04Speaker 3: what is it called? Like, the council? What is that called?
- 8:07Speaker 2: Standards. Standards.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Okay.
- 8:09Speaker 1: That's, that's not what I meant though, but that is
- 8:11Speaker 1: what I meant. That is actually what I was.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Trying to say.
- 8:14Speaker 1: But no, it's when you're, it's like the council, like the,
- 8:18Speaker 1: like the big people that are actually really involved in
- 8:20Speaker 1: the sorority. Yeah. Those were the people that I feel
- 8:22Speaker 1: like were like doing like, feel like, like God's work,
- 8:26Speaker 1: I guess, for making sure that girls were weeded out.
- 8:28Speaker 3: That should have been.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 3: I don't know if that's God's work, but that's more
- 8:32Speaker 3: of like devil's work. Maybe.
- 8:33Speaker 2: For sure. I think that that was just like crazy
- 8:36Speaker 2: to look back on and, Yeah, I'm about to. Okay,
- 8:40Speaker 2: what are we, like, what are your opinions on these outfits?
- 8:42Speaker 2: Can I show her? I mean, that's bad.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Oh, no, I hate that. I really hate that.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Like, the metallic bow shirt.
- 8:55Speaker 2: I mean, it's literally, like, 1950s housewives. Like, I'm like,
- 9:00Speaker 2: what the fuck are you wearing?
- 9:02Speaker 3: Like, I legit, like, I feel like I'd see that at, like,
- 9:04Speaker 3: what is that like Comic-Con?
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Like the like cosplay thing.
- 9:08Speaker 2: I hate a bow. I hate a bow. Like a
- 9:11Speaker 2: big bow.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I actually hate pink and a pink bow is even worse.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I mean, this is just, I would never be caught
- 9:18Speaker 2: dead in this outfit.
- 9:19Speaker 3: The one on the left didn't feel as offensive.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that one's not as bad. But I will
- 9:24Speaker 2: say I'm on the side of TikTok that's like hot.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Like I'm watching these girls' videos and I'm like, I
- 9:34Speaker 2: didn't look like that in college. Like they look like
- 9:37Speaker 2: they should be out of college. Like no wonder all
- 9:41Speaker 2: these guys are attracted to like younger.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Girl.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I mean, they look like they're our age and they
- 9:48Speaker 2: dress hot. I don't know. I'm like watching these and
- 9:53Speaker 2: I was like, I wish I was in a sorority
- 9:54Speaker 2: right now because it looks fun. Like the TikTok videos
- 9:57Speaker 2: look fun.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Did y'all make videos we didn't make videos oh we
- 10:03Speaker 2: made videos you did yeah we did.
- 10:06Speaker 1: There was like more towards the end of my time
- 10:08Speaker 1: but there were like the like star girls who would
- 10:13Speaker 1: be featured in our videos yeah um And like our Instagram,
- 10:19Speaker 1: like social media was already like pretty big at that point.
- 10:22Speaker 1: It just wasn't as big. Like we weren't, we weren't
- 10:25Speaker 1: doing like freaking stunts and like tumbling.
- 10:27Speaker 2: They're getting crazy brand deals. I mean, these girls in college,
- 10:31Speaker 2: these sororities are getting like, I saw, you know, the,
- 10:35Speaker 2: the poppy one, which was big. Cause they had the
- 10:38Speaker 2: love Island guy that lives in Charleston there. And then
- 10:41Speaker 2: I also saw another one that was like a clothing
- 10:44Speaker 2: company that they dressed all the girls.
- 10:46Speaker 3: That's, Crazy to me.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Cause they just, they just know that like brands know
- 10:50Speaker 1: that it's going to like do well.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Let's talk about like, when did rush become a full
- 11:09Speaker 2: on marketing campaign? Because Bama, they had a whole ass
- 11:14Speaker 2: like Nike campaign. I'm like, these girls are making money
- 11:20Speaker 2: on their TikToks from doing Rush, which is insane, but awesome. Awesome.
- 11:26Speaker 2: At the same time.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, like, good for them, but like.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Not that I feel like they need the money if
- 11:31Speaker 2: they're going to Bama, but. True, true, true. Everyone was
- 11:35Speaker 2: so rich when I went there. I was like a
- 11:36Speaker 2: fish out of water. No, literally. Literally.
- 11:39Speaker 1: But whenever we went through a rush, I feel like
- 11:41Speaker 1: everything was supposed to be so hush hush. And like,
- 11:44Speaker 1: you're going through recruitment, but like, you're not allowed to
- 11:46Speaker 1: talk about it. You're not allowed to talk about who
- 11:48Speaker 1: you're going to prep. You're not allowed to talk about anything.
- 11:50Speaker 1: And if you do, then you're going to be blackballed
- 11:52Speaker 1: or you're going to be dropped from every sorority. Like,
- 11:54Speaker 1: that's just the way that it was. And I know
- 11:57Speaker 1: had I posted, because like, like I said, social media
- 12:00Speaker 1: was already like, obviously.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I don't remember it being that big when we were
- 12:05Speaker 2: in school. Oh, yeah.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Like Instagram had like dropped.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I mean, at this point, I feel like I was
- 12:10Speaker 1: like using it more as like a filter, like this
- 12:13Speaker 1: situation than I was like an actual platform.
- 12:16Speaker 3: But yeah, I mean, you remember like YouTube was big.
- 12:20Speaker 3: And so I.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Feel like I unfortunately was somewhat of a YouTuber.
- 12:26Speaker 3: And I feel like if I would have been like, hey,
- 12:29Speaker 3: like I'm going through a sorority rush at College of Charleston,
- 12:31Speaker 3: like immediately.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Canceled. People would make fun of us. And now I
- 12:36Speaker 2: am like, I'm on Rush Talk all day. Like if
- 12:41Speaker 2: I'm doom scrolling, that's what I'm on. I love it.
- 12:43Speaker 2: But the girl, I mean, it's just, do you think
- 12:46Speaker 2: they have the girls in the front that are like
- 12:49Speaker 2: on the dance team or used to be on the
- 12:51Speaker 2: dance team in college? Because they're like really good. And
- 12:54Speaker 2: I think brands are noticing that this is, you know,
- 12:58Speaker 2: everyone gets excited for Rush Week because of TikTok. Like
- 13:02Speaker 2: all my friends are on that. So I feel like
- 13:04Speaker 2: it's good for brands because not only is one girl
- 13:06Speaker 2: talking about this brand, it's like the whole damn sorority,
- 13:10Speaker 2: you know? So they're probably like, this is way better
- 13:13Speaker 2: for us, a better bank for our buck. I mean, honestly,
- 13:16Speaker 2: I think it's smart for brands to go after Rush Talk.
- 13:19Speaker 3: No, I think so too.
- 13:21Speaker 1: And so like to bring up your point of like
- 13:23Speaker 1: when this started, the first time that I ever saw
- 13:26Speaker 1: any of this happening and it really became a thing,
- 13:28Speaker 1: I think was like Kylan going through. Oh, yeah.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Whatever happened to her?
- 13:34Speaker 3: Going through recruitment.
- 13:35Speaker 2: She went through something.
- 13:37Speaker 3: She chopped her hair. I know that. She has like
- 13:39Speaker 3: a bob.
- 13:40Speaker 2: That's not what I meant. But I guess the chopped
- 13:43Speaker 2: hair came after she went through something. I don't know.
- 13:46Speaker 2: But didn't she like drop her sorority?
- 13:48Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe that was correlating.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Didn't she like drop her sorority or something? I don't know. No,
- 13:54Speaker 2: I don't. I don't remember.
- 13:56Speaker 3: I think she went Zeta. I could be wrong, but
- 13:58Speaker 3: I think she went Zeta.
- 13:59Speaker 1: And she is like more focused on, of course, broadcaster.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Yes.
- 14:05Speaker 3: But I think she's still like an A plus student
- 14:09Speaker 3: at her sorority.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I used to love watching her TikToks.
- 14:11Speaker 3: I think Izzy.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Yes.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Izzy. Is that her sister?
- 14:15Speaker 2: Yep.
- 14:15Speaker 1: So her sister went through recruitment and didn't like pick
- 14:21Speaker 1: any of them or they didn't pick her.
- 14:22Speaker 3: I'm not really sure. There has been like speculation about both.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Dude, it's really bad for your, I mean, it's really
- 14:28Speaker 2: bad for your mental health. I think rush is crazy.
- 14:31Speaker 2: I mean, I remember going into the five new house
- 14:35Speaker 2: at Alabama and they were like, don't touch the railing
- 14:40Speaker 2: on the staircase or else they're going to drop you.
- 14:43Speaker 2: And I remember walking down in my damn tall ass heels,
- 14:47Speaker 2: And I'd touch it for support. And then I was like,
- 14:49Speaker 2: and I remember the girl looking, she like side-eyed my hand.
- 14:54Speaker 2: And the only sorority that dropped me, I'm you.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I'm you.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Because I touched the fucking railing. Yep. I'm not kidding.
- 15:02Speaker 3: The only sorority to drop me was Katie. Sucker.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. We would have welcomed
- 15:09Speaker 2: you at South Carolina.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Oh my God.
- 15:12Speaker 1: No, I literally, I remember though, Katie was like, at
- 15:16Speaker 1: Charleston at least was one of those sororities that was like, what.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Does your dad do?
- 15:22Speaker 1: Oh, and you're like, Oh, what does that matter? Like
- 15:26Speaker 1: they were that type 80 pie though. And I kind of,
- 15:30Speaker 1: I kind of vibed with 80 pie, honestly, but they
- 15:33Speaker 1: were the ones that like you've probably heard of this
- 15:37Speaker 1: at other like sorority, other schools and stuff, but like
- 15:40Speaker 1: where they would rank you behind your back. Cause you
- 15:43Speaker 1: know how like we had to put our hands like
- 15:46Speaker 1: on the back and then it would be like a one, two, three,
- 15:49Speaker 1: four or five or whatever. I always heard that about
- 15:52Speaker 1: 80 pie. I don't know if that was true, but
- 15:54Speaker 1: I would like try to feel like how many fingers
- 15:56Speaker 1: were on my back.
- 15:58Speaker 2: It's crazy how different. how different each sorority is at
- 16:02Speaker 2: every school, you know, like it's just so insane. I
- 16:06Speaker 2: do remember rushing this one girl. I'm not going to
- 16:08Speaker 2: say her name, but like the sorority wanted to drop her.
- 16:12Speaker 2: And I'm like, I fought for her so hard because
- 16:16Speaker 2: she was just like really easy to talk to. I
- 16:18Speaker 2: loved her. And they were like, we're dropping her. And
- 16:20Speaker 2: I fought so hard. She ended up being president of
- 16:24Speaker 2: our sorority.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 2: And I was like, I told y'all this bitch was cool.
- 16:26Speaker 3: You were her advocate.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I was.
- 16:28Speaker 3: That's great.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Okay. How many free products are sorority girls actually getting
- 16:33Speaker 2: during work week, do we think, and recruitment? Because brands
- 16:37Speaker 2: like Poppy are selling, like, I mean, hundreds or thousands
- 16:42Speaker 2: of custom cans to these people. I bet they're getting, like,
- 16:46Speaker 2: offered a bunch of stuff.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Are we talking, like, for Poppy, or are we talking about, like,
- 16:50Speaker 3: for brands?
- 16:50Speaker 2: For everything. For everything. Like, how many free products do
- 16:54Speaker 2: we think that they're actually getting?
- 16:55Speaker 1: Okay.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Okay, because think about it. There's definitely makeup products that
- 16:58Speaker 3: are being sent.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Because I feel like that's like the first thing to
- 17:00Speaker 3: be sent.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I mean, this is like active members are getting stacked
- 17:04Speaker 2: PR boxes just for being on socials. But I feel
- 17:07Speaker 2: like that happens in out of shorties too, you know?
- 17:11Speaker 2: I get PR packages.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Yeah, but this is like because of.
- 17:18Speaker 2: I need to go back to college and be in
- 17:20Speaker 2: a sorority.
- 17:21Speaker 3: We're going back to recruitment ASAP.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Because I feel like I'm a TikTok girly now and
- 17:26Speaker 2: I would thrive at rush week, work week, whatever.
- 17:29Speaker 3: You are a TikTok girly now. And I've been loving
- 17:32Speaker 3: this era for you because remember when I was like
- 17:34Speaker 3: super into TikTok?
- 17:35Speaker 1: Well, like I still like TikTok always, but like I
- 17:38Speaker 1: would try to get Sally to do TikToks with me
- 17:40Speaker 1: and she'd be like, No, actually you were always kind
- 17:43Speaker 1: of down.
- 17:44Speaker 3: You were always kind of down.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I'm a down bitch.
- 17:45Speaker 3: I just don't really know a lot about it.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:47Speaker 2: But now I feel like I've, I've gotten more comfortable
- 17:49Speaker 2: in my skin. Cause when I, when we were, it
- 17:51Speaker 2: wasn't normal when we were in college, like the videoing
- 17:55Speaker 2: and the like synchronized dancing. Yeah. And now I, I
- 18:00Speaker 2: just want to be, I just want to be young again.
- 18:03Speaker 3: You know what though?
- 18:04Speaker 1: I feel like we're seeing the like glamorized side of
- 18:08Speaker 1: that though. Because there are always people, especially the girls
- 18:12Speaker 1: going through recruitment that are those types that are like,
- 18:15Speaker 1: you know, the type of girl that's like, oh, you
- 18:18Speaker 1: put on makeup every day.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Like that seems so hard.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Like I could never do that because like, that's just
- 18:24Speaker 1: not like, I don't have enough time.
- 18:26Speaker 3: And you're like, okay, bitch, like maybe you should.
- 18:28Speaker 2: That's a backhanded compliment.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 18:31Speaker 1: And so I feel like those girls still very much
- 18:34Speaker 1: exist in this.
- 18:35Speaker 3: We're just not seeing them.
- 18:37Speaker 1: So I think they're the people that are like holier
- 18:39Speaker 1: than thou that are still like, I would never post
- 18:41Speaker 1: about my recruitment experience, but we're seeing like the like
- 18:45Speaker 1: glamorized version of like, these people are.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Getting like brand deals.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Did you see the girl that apparently blinked in Morse code? SOS?
- 18:55Speaker 3: How does she even know that?
- 18:56Speaker 2: Did anybody else see that? Or is that just the
- 18:59Speaker 2: side of TikTok I'm on? Yeah, she's like in the
- 19:03Speaker 2: front and center, front and center in a synchronized TikTok on, yeah,
- 19:09Speaker 2: at Auburn. And she, they slowed the video down because
- 19:12Speaker 2: people were like, her blinking's off. And it was Morse
- 19:15Speaker 2: code for SOS. Please, someone help me.
- 19:22Speaker 3: You know what? I'm a chronic blinker. And I wonder
- 19:24Speaker 3: if she just like.
- 19:25Speaker 2: But like Morse code, you don't blink in Morse code.
- 19:29Speaker 3: I might blink in Morse code. You never know.
- 19:31Speaker 2: I don't know. The only thing I know about Morse
- 19:34Speaker 2: code is the movie Interstellar. That movie is so good.
- 19:38Speaker 2: All right, guys, there's so much more to talk about.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Stay tuned for part two.
