Big Rig Concrete Spill Closes Freeway | Venice Beach News
A massive truck crash at 2:23 AM sent a concrete-laden trailer flipping onto its side, blocking the critical transition between the westbound Santa Monica and southbound Harbor Freeways. Firefighters battled with crowbars to clear tons of concrete, while CHP issued a Sigalert to shut down the area, rerouting traffic east. Though labeled an injury accident, no one was hurt.
