- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven tr.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Well. We started at nine o'clock, now nine o'clock nine
- 0:13Speaker 2: to noon every day, so don't forget nine o'clock every day.
- 0:16Speaker 2: We'll get to this crazy Michigan primary. This could be
- 0:19Speaker 2: a big key factor in Republicans winning the Senate holding
- 0:24Speaker 2: It is Jeanine Piro gonna get fired at any moment.
- 0:27Speaker 2: We'll get to that. President is in Las Vegas. Actually
- 0:31Speaker 2: he's in Los Angeles today, then Las Vegas tomorrow. He's
- 0:36Speaker 2: out there talking about the economy and all that. So
- 0:39Speaker 2: he'll be in California in La today. Tonight he'll fly
- 0:43Speaker 2: to Las Vegas, spend the night there, and then there's
- 0:46Speaker 2: stuff all day tomorrow in Las Vegas, and then home
- 0:49Speaker 2: to the White House tomorrow night. You see when you
- 0:51Speaker 2: got that Air Force one, it's like a flying city
- 0:55Speaker 2: up there. You can take a trip to the West
- 0:58Speaker 2: Coast day in California, day, Nevada, back to the White House.
- 1:02Speaker 2: The whole trip forty hours. That's about it. So the
- 1:06Speaker 2: Michigan primary. There's actually five primaries tonight, five big primaries tonight,
- 1:11Speaker 2: but the one everybody's watching is Michigan. Because very very
- 1:15Speaker 2: important primary for Republicans winning back the Senate. The seat
- 1:20Speaker 2: there is up for grabs because the Democratic senator, junior
- 1:24Speaker 2: senator in Michigan is retiring. He's not seeking re election,
- 1:28Speaker 2: so the seat is open. He got the Republican Mike
- 1:32Speaker 2: Rogers running, good guy, he's been a congressman for years,
- 1:37Speaker 2: a veteran, good, solid congressman. So he's running. The Democrats
- 1:42Speaker 2: have to run somebody against him. The primary is tonight.
- 1:45Speaker 2: They got a normal Democrat, Hailey Stevens, normal regular old Democrat,
- 1:51Speaker 2: but running against her is a crazy left wing kook,
- 1:55Speaker 2: woke socialist democratic l sayad sounds normal, and he's ahead
- 2:02Speaker 2: in the polls, and he's already acting like he won.
- 2:04Speaker 2: He's not even campaigning against the opponent. Ailey Stevens's already
- 2:08Speaker 2: campaigning against Roger.
- 2:09Speaker 3: This is a guy who spent his fifteen years, fourteen
- 2:12Speaker 3: years in Congress doing every single errand that the pharmaceutical
- 2:17Speaker 3: industry and big tech industry could ask him of, so
- 2:19Speaker 3: much so that he helped to architect, literally sponsored and
- 2:23Speaker 3: introduced the legislation that kicked off the opioid epidemic that
- 2:26Speaker 3: killed six hundred thousand Americans.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Now, what the hell is he talking about? That nobody
- 2:30Speaker 2: knows nobody is catered to the pharmaceutical industry more than
- 2:34Speaker 2: the Democratic Party, so he should actually be denouncing them.
- 2:37Speaker 2: But so if this guy wins, this crazy kook, socialist, Marxist,
- 2:42Speaker 2: whatever the hell he is, El Sayad, and he's the candidate,
- 2:48Speaker 2: it's very likely that Rogers wins. So if they put
- 2:52Speaker 2: up this nut job against the normal guy, the normal
- 2:56Speaker 2: guy will win, and that means the Republicans pick up
- 2:58Speaker 2: a seat there. Now, this El Sayad, and maybe he
- 3:02Speaker 2: can win the primary because it's mostly Democrats voting crazy
- 3:05Speaker 2: left wing Democrats. There are many of those in Michigan,
- 3:09Speaker 2: but the majority of Michigan, it's the Midwest, it's normal,
- 3:13Speaker 2: common sense, independence and Republicans. So if this guy gets
- 3:16Speaker 2: the nomination, he's not likely to win the actual election,
- 3:20Speaker 2: and the Republicans would pick up a Senate seat there. Now,
- 3:23Speaker 2: this guy El Sayad is trying very very hard to
- 3:28Speaker 2: look normal. It was actually been in the medical field
- 3:32Speaker 2: most of his time, Doctor Abdul l Sayad. All right,
- 3:39Speaker 2: he's been a crazy left wing He was associating with
- 3:43Speaker 2: Hassan Piker and all these anti semit crazy lunatics. Piker's
- 3:48Speaker 2: the guy had said America deserved nine to eleven. So
- 3:51Speaker 2: this is the El Sayad crowd. Now that he's in
- 3:54Speaker 2: this primary, he's trying to sound more moderate, but it's
- 3:57Speaker 2: not fooling anybody. So keep an eye on that tonight.
- 3:59Speaker 2: That'll be a if this lunatic gets the nomination, big
- 4:03Speaker 2: victory for Republicans tonight. So Janine Piro, she's taking the
- 4:10Speaker 2: job as the District attorney of Washington, DC, And all
- 4:14Speaker 2: of a sudden, the reflecting pool was damaged to President
- 4:19Speaker 2: Trump convinced that it was vandalism. Now there was vandalism,
- 4:22Speaker 2: He's not wrong about that. You got the video of
- 4:25Speaker 2: vandals trying to do stuff to the pool. You got
- 4:28Speaker 2: video of the vandals going into the pool. But did
- 4:31Speaker 2: they actually make that one hundred foot gash or whatever
- 4:34Speaker 2: that was, or was that a problem with the way
- 4:37Speaker 2: it was installed the material down there? So Pierro was
- 4:42Speaker 2: told to prosecute this guy, this vandal the judge it
- 4:46Speaker 2: was Washington DC. You get these crazy left wing Trump
- 4:50Speaker 2: derangement syndrome judges. But he wouldn't hear of it. He's
- 4:54Speaker 2: yelling and screaming at Piro. How dare you bring this case?
- 4:57Speaker 2: You don't have any evidence, you know the n The
- 4:58Speaker 2: judge might have a point, there wasn't enough evidence. The
- 5:02Speaker 2: guy was clearly a vandal of some kind, and what
- 5:04Speaker 2: was he doing in the reflecting pool? He jumped in there,
- 5:07Speaker 2: but there's not that. The evidence doesn't exist that he
- 5:10Speaker 2: made the gash, a hundred foot gash. So the judge
- 5:14Speaker 2: tossed it out. Trump is furious. Actually, before he tossed
- 5:18Speaker 2: it out, Piro dropped the case. She just dropped the case.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Trump furious, furious.
- 5:25Speaker 4: We weren't necessarily thrilled with the contractor, but they did
- 5:30Speaker 4: a job and they were fixing any problems. But then
- 5:34Speaker 4: I got carried away because the judge was extremely unfriendly
- 5:38Speaker 4: to Jinine, and frankly, I think she choked.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, but again it could have been the contractor's
- 5:46Speaker 2: fault that the gash appeared. But Pierro just she was
- 5:50Speaker 2: told to bring the case. She brought the case. The
- 5:52Speaker 2: judge was yelling and screaming, you don't have enough evidence,
- 5:54Speaker 2: so she pulled out. Trump not happy. Now, she probably
- 5:58Speaker 2: should have called him and discussed it them first, but
- 6:00Speaker 2: she didn't. And here's more than President Trump.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Now I'm not saying I was one hundred percent thrilled
- 6:06Speaker 4: with the contractor, but the contractor was rushing. We wanted
- 6:11Speaker 4: to get it open for July fourth, and we got
- 6:13Speaker 4: it done. But in addition there was vandalism.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah, so probably if she couldn't make the exact case
- 6:23Speaker 2: that he made the gas, she probably should have lowered
- 6:25Speaker 2: the charge. Charging was something, but she just dropped the
- 6:28Speaker 2: whole case in Trump was fuming.
- 6:30Speaker 4: I was disappointed with Jannine Piro, really disappointed with Jannine Pierro.
- 6:35Speaker 4: She she folded like an umbrella.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Al Right, he doesn't sound happy.
- 6:40Speaker 4: And frankly, I think she choked because the judge was
- 6:43Speaker 4: really vicious. Instead of going after the people that did it,
- 6:48Speaker 4: the judge went after her and went after her department,
- 6:52Speaker 4: and I guess she choked. I don't know what the
- 6:55Speaker 4: hell happened.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's bad. Now in the Trump world, the
- 7:00Speaker 2: mind of Donald Trump, the worst thing you can do
- 7:02Speaker 2: is choke. You've been using this word for forty years.
- 7:05Speaker 2: The worst thing is to be a choker. Remember Mitt Romney.
- 7:07Speaker 2: That's what he kept saying. The guy choked, He's a choker.
- 7:10Speaker 2: You don't want to choke you know, if you're a golfer.
- 7:13Speaker 2: He's a great golfer, wins championships, just one as the
- 7:17Speaker 2: fortieth Club Championship. Of course he owns the club that
- 7:21Speaker 2: can help. But no, he's a great golfer and that's
- 7:24Speaker 2: the secret. Don't choke in the end. So he was
- 7:26Speaker 2: not thrilled. A lot of people wondering if she's going
- 7:28Speaker 2: to get fired. She went to the White House last
- 7:31Speaker 2: night to see him. They had a brief meeting. I
- 7:36Speaker 2: don't think it. I don't know anything, but I don't
- 7:39Speaker 2: It was too brief and there was no joint anything
- 7:43Speaker 2: together afterwards. So she is in danger of being fired.
- 7:46Speaker 2: And I don't know if she had enough for Washington, DC.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I don't know what the hell she's doing there. She
- 7:51Speaker 2: was on the number one show in television, The Five,
- 7:53Speaker 2: the highest rated show and cable news. She could have
- 7:56Speaker 2: been sitting there having fun every day. So you may
- 8:00Speaker 2: you may see here on The Five again in the
- 8:02Speaker 2: coming months, but we'll see what happens with that. The
- 8:05Speaker 2: talks with Iran are going on right now. I don't
- 8:07Speaker 2: know why, but it's a nice little game to play.
- 8:11Speaker 2: They're having talks. I know half of Iran there's divided government,
- 8:15Speaker 2: so there's half saying there are no talks, but there
- 8:17Speaker 2: are talks.
- 8:18Speaker 4: For some reason, they when they're talking, they don't like
- 8:22Speaker 4: saying that they're talking. So I say, we're in talks,
- 8:26Speaker 4: big deal, we're in talks, and they'll sometimes deny it,
- 8:29Speaker 4: even though they spend hours and hours together talking.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Okay, So a lot of people don't like this whole
- 8:36Speaker 2: approach that Trump has taken. Even a lot of Republicans
- 8:39Speaker 2: don't like this approach he's taken. Iran, we're just dragging
- 8:41Speaker 2: this process out. We'll talk and talk and talk and
- 8:44Speaker 2: come to an agreement, and the agreement is fine, it's great,
- 8:47Speaker 2: everything's great. Then two weeks later they start firing at
- 8:50Speaker 2: our ships. They violate the agreement, and we're back to
- 8:52Speaker 2: bombing them. And we're bombing them for a week, and
- 8:56Speaker 2: then then we talks, and then we make an agreement,
- 8:58Speaker 2: and everything's great for two weeks. Then we got to
- 9:02Speaker 2: bomb I mean, this is how long can you keep
- 9:03Speaker 2: doing this? I don't know. I mean, it doesn't bother
- 9:05Speaker 2: me too much. I mean, I like the fact that
- 9:08Speaker 2: every few weeks we start bombing them again. But a
- 9:10Speaker 2: lot of people want to just go in, finish them off,
- 9:13Speaker 2: wipe them out. But it's a country of sixty million people.
- 9:17Speaker 2: You'd have to kill a lot of people. So other
- 9:21Speaker 2: countries are pushing for talks too. That's the other thing.
- 9:23Speaker 2: We're trying to keep our allies happy.
- 9:25Speaker 4: We are talking right now, we're talking, and we're talking
- 9:28Speaker 4: at the request of Iran, back by Saudi Arabia, back
- 9:33Speaker 4: by UAE, and back by Guitar in particular, but others also, many,
- 9:38Speaker 4: many countries called many the leaders of matting up friendly
- 9:41Speaker 4: with a lot of them.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Yeah. So now the other thing you could argue is
- 9:45Speaker 2: his idea here is when we finally do have to
- 9:49Speaker 2: go in and wipe the whole place out, it'll be
- 9:51Speaker 2: after all these different talks, so he'll be able to
- 9:54Speaker 2: say I gave him every chance on earth. So that
- 9:58Speaker 2: way it won't look as cruel as it could look.
- 10:01Speaker 4: This is the last chance. This is not something that
- 10:05Speaker 4: it doesn't happen. This is the last chance for them
- 10:08Speaker 4: to sign a good document.
- 10:12Speaker 2: So this is the last chance. But that's kind of
- 10:14Speaker 2: like one of those barber streisand farewell tours. You remember,
- 10:18Speaker 2: there were like fifty of those every two years. It
- 10:21Speaker 2: was another farewell tour. So we'll see. But listen to
- 10:24Speaker 2: the word he uses here.
- 10:25Speaker 4: I want to give him every last chance before decapitation.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Very tough to do what we have planned still planned.
- 10:34Speaker 4: We'll see what happens.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that word decapitation. Hey, that crazy little
- 10:40Speaker 2: mom Donnie with his grocery stores. It's going to open
- 10:46Speaker 2: the first one, he said. It's a schedule for twenty
- 10:49Speaker 2: twenty eight or something, which means twenty thirty two, which
- 10:52Speaker 2: means nobody will ever live to see it. But you
- 10:55Speaker 2: know it's suppose he got a thirty percent discount in
- 10:57Speaker 2: his government grocery stores. The big butt here, they're going
- 11:02Speaker 2: to use ID. You're going to have to have ID
- 11:05Speaker 2: to get this discount because they want to make sure
- 11:07Speaker 2: you're whatever to qualify for this pretty silly. You can't.
- 11:13Speaker 2: You can't allow any idea anything to do with voting.
- 11:17Speaker 2: But the grocery stores are going to require ID. Listen
- 11:21Speaker 2: to President Trump.
- 11:22Speaker 4: I wish they'd have an ID to access the voting booth.
- 11:25Speaker 4: You know, they don't want to access the voting booth
- 11:27Speaker 4: with any identification. We want voter ID and we want
- 11:31Speaker 4: proof of citizenship. Well, he also had anything where you
- 11:35Speaker 4: had to have two different IDs to shovel snow.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Yeah, So this Moum Donnie is very big on IDs,
- 11:43Speaker 2: except except when it comes to voting. If you don't
- 11:46Speaker 2: want to go into city Hall, you got to show
- 11:47Speaker 2: nine different IDs to get in. You have to show
- 11:49Speaker 2: ID to get in everywhere. You know, if you want
- 11:52Speaker 2: to go to MSNBC or CNN, you got to show
- 11:55Speaker 2: ID to get in the building to be just to
- 11:57Speaker 2: be a guest on there, I've had that happen. I'm
- 12:01Speaker 2: on a show on MSNBC to discuss voter ID. They're
- 12:05Speaker 2: gonna yell at me that voter ID is discriminatory, it's racist,
- 12:08Speaker 2: it's but you got a show of ID to go
- 12:13Speaker 2: into their building to get on the show to discuss this. Now,
- 12:16Speaker 2: we love the Fauci hearings. It looks like Jack Smith
- 12:20Speaker 2: might be next Congressional committee going to call Jack Smith
- 12:23Speaker 2: before the committee. That's that bug eyed, weirdo prosecutor with
- 12:27Speaker 2: the cape. He'll have to testify about all the evil
- 12:31Speaker 2: things he did, the raid on mar A Lago where
- 12:34Speaker 2: he got the authority to use deadly force. They're going
- 12:39Speaker 2: to raid mar A Lago. It's a club of little
- 12:41Speaker 2: old ladies. It's all senior citizen old ladies. It's a
- 12:47Speaker 2: ballroom full of them. Those women. He got authorization to
- 12:51Speaker 2: use deadly force in there. They went in with machine guns,
- 12:54Speaker 2: guns drawn. It's already protected by the Secret Service. There's
- 12:59Speaker 2: no security risk of any kind ofness. So he's gonna
- 13:01Speaker 2: have to testify about all this. They went through all
- 13:04Speaker 2: of mar Alago, They went through Malania Trump's clothes, they
- 13:09Speaker 2: went through her underwear drawer, just like Polly Walnuts did.
- 13:12Speaker 2: And he's gonna have to answer for all this. Now.
- 13:14Speaker 2: I would think, like Fauci, he'll take the Fifth Amendment.
- 13:18Speaker 2: That'll be pretty good. Washing Jack Smith take the Fifth
- 13:20Speaker 2: Amendment one hundred and twenty times. Hey, Aaron Rodgers, the
- 13:25Speaker 2: great football star Aaron Rodgers is being interviewed. Listen to him.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Is everything funner? Is everything more awesome?
- 13:31Speaker 4: Like?
- 13:32Speaker 2: How do you kind of view this year verse? Maybe
- 13:33Speaker 2: the years of the past.
- 13:34Speaker 5: Now, I'm gonna plead the fifth Okay, okay, like that guy, okay,
- 13:42Speaker 5: like that absolute coward, tony absolute collar.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Yeah are you kidding me? Yeah?
- 13:49Speaker 5: You got a pardon and you're in front of you
- 13:50Speaker 5: and you pleaded over a hundred times.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I got the White House. What are you scared of? Tony?
- 13:54Speaker 2: I thought you were the science Yeah yeah, I thought
- 13:57Speaker 2: you or I am.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Science and you get up there and you can't answer
- 13:59Speaker 5: a qui.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Yeah, So Fauci really really really damaged. Hey, Stephen Colbert
- 14:07Speaker 2: went off the air, thank god, while back? How many
- 14:10Speaker 2: it's been a few months, hasn't it. Boy? You see
- 14:12Speaker 2: how his career took off since going off the air.
- 14:15Speaker 2: You certainly see him all over the place. He just vanished.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Now here's the question, where did that audience go? Where
- 14:22Speaker 2: did the Colbert viewers go? Well, apparently mostly to Jimmy
- 14:27Speaker 2: Kimmel Live. They didn't really go to Fallon. Fallon is
- 14:31Speaker 2: doing about one point three million viewers a night. One
- 14:35Speaker 2: point three million. It's not a lot, you know. The
- 14:38Speaker 2: Tonight show used to be ten million, twenty million. Now
- 14:40Speaker 2: it's one point three million. Kimmel because he picked up
- 14:45Speaker 2: the Colbert crowd averaging two point seven million, and in
- 14:50Speaker 2: quarter number two the ratings are way up for Kimmel.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Now he's gonna you're gonna hear about this. He's oh,
- 14:57Speaker 2: Kimmel ratings, Look at this increase? What an increase in
- 15:00Speaker 2: they're going to forget to tell you this part. Many
- 15:04Speaker 2: of these Kimmel shows were on right after the NBA Finals.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Remember ABC had them, had the NBA Finals, you know,
- 15:12Speaker 2: the Knicks, all that stuff. It had the Stanley Cup
- 15:14Speaker 2: final coverage. So that's one reason he got that boost.
- 15:18Speaker 2: But he did pick up the Colbert viewers. They did
- 15:20Speaker 2: not did not go to Fallon. Now, even with his
- 15:25Speaker 2: two point seven for figure, it's more like two point
- 15:28Speaker 2: two once you get rid of those NBA Final leadings.
- 15:33Speaker 2: It's nothing compared to Guttfeld, who's at three point two
- 15:38Speaker 2: average total viewers three point two million, way ahead of
- 15:43Speaker 2: Fallon and Kimmel combined. Hey, we'll take some calls next.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 15:50Speaker 2: the number. Also, we'll get to mom Donnie's latest attack
- 15:55Speaker 2: on business leaders. We'll get to that coming up and
- 16:00Speaker 2: get to that. Hey, that guy that jumped off the
- 16:02Speaker 2: bridge and fell three hundred feet, how did he survive
- 16:05Speaker 2: that fault? Well, we'll get to that more coming up.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Mark Simone here now here nine am, nine am to
- 16:13Speaker 2: noon every weekday, so it's nine o'clock. We start at
- 16:16Speaker 2: nine o'clock till noon every weekday. Here on seven ten
- 16:20Speaker 2: WR No no.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Mark Ziman show nine till noon weekday for Mark seventy TENO.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Okay, if you're a Democrat, cover your ears for a moment.
- 16:35Speaker 2: The price of oil dropping again, down three dollars today,
- 16:38Speaker 2: the price of oil now seventy seven. Remember the worst
- 16:42Speaker 2: point during this Iran stuff, it was up to about
- 16:44Speaker 2: one hundred and ten, so it would be down over
- 16:48Speaker 2: thirty dollars a barrel since then. Hey, you know you're
- 16:51Speaker 2: going to see these crime numbers come out that it's
- 16:53Speaker 2: the lowest crime rate, lowest murder rate in fifty years,
- 16:58Speaker 2: thirty years, the lowest crime rate. Crime is down overall, lowest.
- 17:03Speaker 2: You're going to hear this all over the place. But
- 17:07Speaker 2: digging into the numbers, hate crimes have soared under Mom Donnie.
- 17:11Speaker 2: It's only six months of Mom Donnie, but hate crimes
- 17:13Speaker 2: are up ten percent and it's mostly Jewish hate crime.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Year to date, hate crime jumped from three hundred and
- 17:22Speaker 2: twenty five last year to three hundred and sixty thirty
- 17:25Speaker 2: three coming in July alone. That's a lot for one
- 17:28Speaker 2: month hate crimes more than half fifty seven percent where
- 17:34Speaker 2: anti Jewish hate crime. Remember the Jewish population of New
- 17:38Speaker 2: York only ten percent, Yet they were fifty seven percent
- 17:42Speaker 2: of the hate crime. Now, other major crimes are experiencing
- 17:45Speaker 2: major dips across the board. Shootings are way down, down
- 17:50Speaker 2: twenty one percent year to date. Murder was down thirty
- 17:55Speaker 2: two percent in July, twenty three percent year to date.
- 17:59Speaker 2: That's good. But burglary, auto theft, robbery, grand larceny, and
- 18:05Speaker 2: felony assaults also down. That's even better, twenty five percent
- 18:11Speaker 2: year to date. So that's pretty good. But you got
- 18:13Speaker 2: this hate crime problem, and that's not good. Hey, you
- 18:18Speaker 2: know Ferrari. I hate Ferraris you a ride in a Ferrari,
- 18:23Speaker 2: It's like taking an Mri. It's like the most uncomfortable
- 18:26Speaker 2: car ever built. It does have a nice engine sound,
- 18:30Speaker 2: you know when you do it, I believe it's pretty good.
- 18:34Speaker 6: Uh.
- 18:34Speaker 2: And whenever you know a Ferrari pulls up, you see
- 18:37Speaker 2: a Ferrari pull up, a red Ferrari, it's unbelievable. You
- 18:40Speaker 2: wat and stop. You want to see who gets out
- 18:42Speaker 2: of this and the Ferrari the doors open up and
- 18:46Speaker 2: stepping out of the Ferrari, it's always like irving lipshits
- 18:50Speaker 2: from great neck. It's never you're waiting for James bond
- 18:52Speaker 2: to get out of the car. It's never, or it's
- 18:55Speaker 2: Chad from Darienne, Connecticut with his vineyard vines vesta. It's never.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Who should be in a Ferrari. It looks absolutely ridiculous.
- 19:04Speaker 2: But Ferrari's got a problem. You know, these electric cars.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Maybe two years ago you had to be in the
- 19:10Speaker 2: electric car business. So everybody, Mercedes, BMW, although BMW just
- 19:15Speaker 2: got out of the electric car business, not gonna make
- 19:18Speaker 2: them anymore. They'll make a couple of hybrids. But Ferrari
- 19:22Speaker 2: decided to make their first electric car. It's an electric Ferrari. Now,
- 19:27Speaker 2: the whole point of the Ferrari is that engine that poof.
- 19:32Speaker 2: You turn on your electric car, all you hear is nothing.
- 19:36Speaker 2: There's no sound. So this Ferrari electric car is six
- 19:41Speaker 2: hundred and forty thousand dollars. It's half a million dollars
- 19:46Speaker 2: for this, more than half a million. The problem is
- 19:50Speaker 2: besides the fact nobody wants an electric Ferrari, nobody wants
- 19:53Speaker 2: a quiet Ferrari that makes no noise. Everybody, every reviewer, everybody,
- 19:57Speaker 2: customers are saying it's hideous, looks ugly, it's a monstrosity.
- 20:02Speaker 2: It's called the loose which is that's the Italian word
- 20:06Speaker 2: for light. It looks like exactly like a thirty thousand
- 20:10Speaker 2: dollars Nissan. The effect that design does look pretty similar.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Now here's the thing. Who designed this Ferrari. Well, they
- 20:18Speaker 2: brought in Johnny Ives, who was the great designer of
- 20:21Speaker 2: all the Apple products. He designed the iPhone, the iPod,
- 20:25Speaker 2: he designed the iPads. I mean he said it was
- 20:28Speaker 2: the great designer of Apple products. But that doesn't mean
- 20:32Speaker 2: you know how to do a car. So apparently this
- 20:34Speaker 2: thing is considered a total disaster. Even the former Ferrari chairman,
- 20:41Speaker 2: he was chairman of Ferrari for years, Luca monte Zamelo,
- 20:47Speaker 2: he just stepped down a couple years ago, he said.
- 20:50Speaker 2: They asked him. He said, I cannot say what I
- 20:52Speaker 2: think I would harm Ferrari. We risk the destruction of
- 20:56Speaker 2: a legend. So sorry, So not a good car. But
- 21:00Speaker 2: if you want one that's six hundred and forty thousand,
- 21:03Speaker 2: I'm sure they'll be discounted pretty soon. Let's take some calls.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Let's go to Robert in Westchester. Robert, how you doing.
- 21:10Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark, and welcome to the nine o'clock Hour
- 21:13Speaker 7: of congratulation.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Yes so, Mark, judge.
- 21:17Speaker 7: Janine has been a loyal and faithful supporter with Donald Trump,
- 21:22Speaker 7: and you know, for him to say to her, you
- 21:24Speaker 7: know you choke, you choke, and embarrass her that way
- 21:27Speaker 7: on the public stage. I mean, Mark, not for nothing,
- 21:30Speaker 7: but what's he been doing for the past four months
- 21:32Speaker 7: with Iran every time the coup de grass was called.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Now, you can't, you can't compare the two.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Thing.
- 21:38Speaker 2: That's a silly comparison. You're talking about killing h you're
- 21:40Speaker 2: killing many many people versus just running a court case.
- 21:43Speaker 2: You can you can take more risk in a court case.
- 21:46Speaker 2: You can't compare the two. You can't compare the two.
- 21:48Speaker 2: That's two different things.
- 21:49Speaker 7: I understand what you're saying, but you know this depends
- 21:52Speaker 7: on our lives and the lives of the people actually lives.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Well, now you've jumbled up, you've conflated everything into everything.
- 21:58Speaker 2: So but your original question, Jennine Pirol's a loyal friend. Yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 2: but listen, anytime you got a problem with some employee
- 22:05Speaker 2: and they've screwed up something, you may have to yell
- 22:08Speaker 2: at them. You may even have to fireman. Probably in
- 22:10Speaker 2: every case it was a loyal employee for years. But
- 22:13Speaker 2: if they screw up. They screw up. Now in her case,
- 22:15Speaker 2: I don't know that she screwed up. I mean, if
- 22:16Speaker 2: there's no case there and she's the frontline prosecutor. But
- 22:20Speaker 2: she probably should have called him and discussed this with
- 22:23Speaker 2: him and said you gotta drop this. We're gonna lose this.
- 22:26Speaker 2: She didn't do that. She just dropped it without checking
- 22:29Speaker 2: with him. And as de Niro said in The Irishman,
- 22:34Speaker 2: I should have checked. I know, I should have checked.
- 22:36Speaker 2: So that's the problem. Now he was pretty mad, yelling
- 22:40Speaker 2: and screaming about her choking. But she did go to
- 22:43Speaker 2: the White House last night to meet with him in person.
- 22:45Speaker 2: It might be too little, too late. We'll see what happens. Hey,
- 22:49Speaker 2: we got a lot to get to. I don't go away.
- 22:51Speaker 2: We'll we'll be getting to if you're some dumb ideas
- 22:58Speaker 2: from mom Donnie grocery stores. This is maybe his dumbest
- 23:03Speaker 2: one yet. He's come up with he's gonna have camping
- 23:06Speaker 2: and you can get a permit to go camping in
- 23:09Speaker 2: Central Park. Well, we'll get to this at a moment.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Coming up on seven to ten WOR.
- 23:15Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show, Live from the Wor Life
- 23:19Speaker 1: Back Studios.
- 23:21Speaker 2: That's right, nine am to noon. The show now starts
- 23:25Speaker 2: an hour earlier. We're on nine am to noon, three
- 23:28Speaker 2: hours every day. If you're a Democrat, please cover your ears.
- 23:33Speaker 2: We have very bad news. Cover your ears. Stock market
- 23:38Speaker 2: has hit an all time high, set a new record
- 23:41Speaker 2: seven hundred point surge, hitting a new record. Price of
- 23:45Speaker 2: oil is down. I know you're saying, hey, you just
- 23:48Speaker 2: said that that twenty minutes ago. No, No, I mean
- 23:50Speaker 2: it's down from twenty minutes ago. It's dropped another dollar.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Scott Besson indicating a deal is very near to reopen
- 23:58Speaker 2: the Straight of hor move, so that it will happen
- 24:01Speaker 2: possibly possibly later today or tomorrow. Bessn't very careful when
- 24:07Speaker 2: he speaks, so he wouldn't say that if he didn't
- 24:09Speaker 2: didn't know something. So apparently there'll be a horn Moose
- 24:12Speaker 2: deal within the next maybe later today or tomorrow. Bernie
- 24:18Speaker 2: Sanders is really we talk about this yesterday. Who's the
- 24:23Speaker 2: leader of the Democratic Party. It's normally the former president.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Normally it would be Biden. Biden's too old, he's like
- 24:31Speaker 2: a completely brain dead, doesn't know where he is, okay,
- 24:33Speaker 2: So then it would be Obama would be the leader
- 24:36Speaker 2: but you'll notice Obama wants nothing to do with this stuff.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Behind the scenes, he may be pulling a million strings,
- 24:42Speaker 2: but publicly he vanished. He's completely under the radar here.
- 24:46Speaker 2: So who is it, Well, most people think it's Bernie Sanders.
- 24:49Speaker 2: He seems to be leading the party. He's the most
- 24:53Speaker 2: visible leader in the party. The guys who hold the
- 24:56Speaker 2: highest offices, Schumer, Hakeem Jeffreys, they're all terrified, they're cowards.
- 25:01Speaker 2: They're hiding under their desks. So it's Bernie Sanders, and
- 25:05Speaker 2: yesterday went on a tirade blasting the Democratic establishment. He's
- 25:09Speaker 2: talking about Schumer and Pelosi and Hakeem Jeffries. Bernie Sanders
- 25:15Speaker 2: says the all of these people, the Democratic establishment, way way,
- 25:20Speaker 2: way out of touch. He's just attacking them left and right.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Maybe the Democratic establishment should begin to understand they are
- 25:27Speaker 2: way out of touch of where the American people are.
- 25:32Speaker 2: This is coming from a crazy socialist. We don't need
- 25:35Speaker 2: a party anymore which is dominated by wealthy campaign contributors. Well,
- 25:42Speaker 2: that would be the Democrats. Between George Soros and Nevill
- 25:45Speaker 2: Roy Singman and all those reed Hoffmans and all those
- 25:48Speaker 2: tech billionaires, that would be the Democrats. But you can't
- 25:51Speaker 2: tell that to Bernie Sanders. So he went on to
- 25:54Speaker 2: blast the Democrats for cow towing the billionaire donors. Oh okay,
- 25:59Speaker 2: so he's saying it. But I think what the Democratic
- 26:03Speaker 2: Party should become is a party of working people. Well,
- 26:06Speaker 2: you drove them away. They're all Trump supporters. Now, you
- 26:09Speaker 2: totally totally turned away the working class, the middle class,
- 26:14Speaker 2: the blue collar workers, they have no use for you.
- 26:18Speaker 2: We should be a party of young people. Well you
- 26:20Speaker 2: got that. You do have that. Well, people who understand
- 26:23Speaker 2: what it's like to struggle. Well, you don't have that.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Living in your parents' basement, not a big struggle. Were
- 26:31Speaker 2: prepared to take on the oligarchs, Well, the oligarchs. You listen,
- 26:36Speaker 2: You've always had successful people and the idea if you
- 26:41Speaker 2: have people that are making afford You've always had that.
- 26:43Speaker 2: You know, you go back to the Rockefellers and Vanderbilts
- 26:47Speaker 2: and the Whitneys and all of that. They were multi, multi,
- 26:51Speaker 2: multi billionaires if you wed just for inflation. And there's
- 26:54Speaker 2: always been that. You know, the car guys that started
- 26:56Speaker 2: all those car companies, beginning the Rezilion, and now it's
- 26:58Speaker 2: the guys running the companies announced the AI guys, earl,
- 27:02Speaker 2: you're always going to have that, and if you don't
- 27:04Speaker 2: have that, you're not gonna have any jobs. They create
- 27:06Speaker 2: all the jobs. Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go
- 27:08Speaker 2: to Dave in Chicago. Dave, how you doing.
- 27:12Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark.
- 27:13Speaker 6: I'm doing very well.
- 27:14Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Mark.
- 27:15Speaker 8: This report from the Chicago Sun Times recently caught my attention.
- 27:19Speaker 7: Governor J. D.
- 27:20Speaker 8: Pritzker is going to institute a cell phone ban in schools,
- 27:24Speaker 8: which will include tablets, smart watches, personal laptops, smart glasses,
- 27:30Speaker 8: and gaming devices.
- 27:31Speaker 7: Mark.
- 27:32Speaker 8: My question is is this going to be the same
- 27:34Speaker 8: similar policy in New York from Governor Hochel.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it's going to be the same thing. You can't
- 27:42Speaker 2: a lot of things you can criticize Pritzker for, but
- 27:45Speaker 2: this is pretty much going on around the country visa
- 27:48Speaker 2: cell phone bands. It might be a good I don't know.
- 27:50Speaker 2: I don't know. When I was a kid, I couldn't
- 27:52Speaker 2: stand school, I couldn't pay attention. I would sneak a
- 27:56Speaker 2: comic book under my desk and be reading comic books
- 27:59Speaker 2: or something. But and my little fantasy back then was
- 28:02Speaker 2: there was no such thing but to have it like
- 28:04Speaker 2: a little TV set I could watch while in school. Yeah,
- 28:09Speaker 2: I mean you you just hide it under your desk,
- 28:11Speaker 2: a TV set or a something like or radio you
- 28:14Speaker 2: could listen to in class. I think I did that
- 28:17Speaker 2: for a while. I think I figured out how to
- 28:18Speaker 2: hide an earphone in my ear with the teacher not
- 28:21Speaker 2: seeing it was But had we had the cell phone
- 28:23Speaker 2: back then, I would have been watching TV all day
- 28:26Speaker 2: in school. I wouldn't have been paying any attention. So
- 28:29Speaker 2: I don't know it's a bad idea. I mean, Pritzkers
- 28:31Speaker 2: got terrible governor this. He's that big, fat slob Ralph
- 28:34Speaker 2: Cramdon looking guy. But I don't know if I can
- 28:37Speaker 2: fault him for this one. Okay, now, Mom Donnie, this
- 28:40Speaker 2: guy is one crazy scheme after another. It's Mom Donnie's
- 28:44Speaker 2: new parks Department. The New York City Parks Department wants
- 28:48Speaker 2: to start a program for camping camping in Central Park,
- 28:56Speaker 2: actually all the New York City parks. They're going to
- 28:59Speaker 2: have to know a lot of people want to do this.
- 29:01Speaker 2: You can't have everybody camping, So they're gonna have a
- 29:03Speaker 2: lottery where you can win a chance to go camping
- 29:07Speaker 2: in a park. Central Park. The other New York City
- 29:10Speaker 2: parks from August eighth until September eighteenth. The city will
- 29:14Speaker 2: provide the tents. You got to bring your own bedding
- 29:16Speaker 2: everything else. There will be urban Park rangers to help out.
- 29:21Speaker 2: They will lead nighttime hikes through the woods, storytelling and s'mores.
- 29:27Speaker 2: The Parks Department thinks this will get a huge turnout
- 29:31Speaker 2: the overnight. It's overnight overnight camping events all over New
- 29:34Speaker 2: York City's park on a rolling basis. Applications must be submitted.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Each camping will event will host about thirty people, ranging
- 29:44Speaker 2: from five to eight families. Who the hell would want
- 29:49Speaker 2: to camp in Central Park? I could first all, I
- 29:51Speaker 2: wouldn't want to go camping anywhere, but I could see
- 29:53Speaker 2: go camping somewhere out in the woods. But Central Park.
- 29:57Speaker 2: You're gonna have rats in your tent. You're gonna have
- 29:59Speaker 2: homeless people all around your tent in the middle of
- 30:02Speaker 2: Central Park. Who that would go in there at night?
- 30:05Speaker 2: The urban park ranger they call it, Yeah, like he's
- 30:07Speaker 2: going to really be paying attention. We'll see if anybody
- 30:12Speaker 2: applies for this. It's not just Central Park, it's all
- 30:15Speaker 2: the other parks and it's a city tent. Can you
- 30:18Speaker 2: imagine the city tent and you got to bring your
- 30:21Speaker 2: own bed. I mean, if you got all this camping,
- 30:23Speaker 2: if you if you own camping equipment, I assume you
- 30:26Speaker 2: know where to go camping. You don't need to do
- 30:28Speaker 2: it in Central Park. You wouldn't have bought all this equipment
- 30:30Speaker 2: if you didn't have a place to go use it.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Another ridiculous Donnie idea. But he loves the not to
- 30:37Speaker 2: mention you camping in Central Park. You leave your tent
- 30:41Speaker 2: for two seconds, You're gonna come back and find twelve
- 30:42Speaker 2: homeless people sleeping in your bed. This is the dumbest
- 30:46Speaker 2: idea ever. Let's go to Maria in Tarrytown. Maria, how you.
- 30:50Speaker 6: Doing, King Mark? On the subject of lower crime in
- 30:55Speaker 6: New York. How come no one is logically saying it's
- 31:00Speaker 6: connected with the fact that they were removing all the migrants,
- 31:06Speaker 6: that's why there's lower crimes.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Oh, that's a good point. Yeah, it's a very good point.
- 31:09Speaker 2: And it took out a lot of illegal criminals. These
- 31:12Speaker 2: are robbers, These are all sorts of nut jobs, these
- 31:15Speaker 2: are gang members. You're right, that's a good point. Then
- 31:17Speaker 2: credit Tom Holman. I mean the police, of course deserve
- 31:21Speaker 2: a lot of the credit. But that's a very good point.
- 31:24Speaker 2: In fact, we should check other cities where they've removed
- 31:26Speaker 2: a lot of migrants to see if a similar drop
- 31:28Speaker 2: in crime occurred. Hey, Kathy Hochel is running against Bruce Blakeman.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Blakeman would be the greatest governor. He is a governor. Now,
- 31:37Speaker 2: when you're the county executive, it's basically a governor's job.
- 31:40Speaker 2: And he's been phenomenal for whatever it is seven how
- 31:44Speaker 2: long is it five? Six years of NASA County been excellent,
- 31:47Speaker 2: So he'd be the perfect governor, Bruce Blakeman. You should
- 31:51Speaker 2: help him out. Go to blakemanfornew York dot com. But
- 31:55Speaker 2: he's not the only one running for stuff. There's a
- 31:57Speaker 2: lot of people running all over Long Island, lot of
- 32:00Speaker 2: Democratic candidates running. Tom Swazi is running, Laura Gillan is running.
- 32:06Speaker 2: They've all got campaigns, they all got websites. The Democratic
- 32:09Speaker 2: Party has their websites for their reelection on Long Island.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Guess what, none of them None of them mentioned Kathy
- 32:17Speaker 2: Hokel on their websites. Hokel has endorsed them, but they
- 32:24Speaker 2: don't mention the endorsement from her on the website. So
- 32:26Speaker 2: apparently This tells you something. Now, this is not Republicans.
- 32:29Speaker 2: These are Democrats who just don't mention Kathy Hokel anywhere
- 32:35Speaker 2: on their website. They don't want to be associated with her.
- 32:38Speaker 2: There's other congressional candidates, several other local state politicians who
- 32:42Speaker 2: on their websites don't list Hokeel. There is no mention
- 32:47Speaker 2: of Hokel on these Democratic sites. So that tells you
- 32:50Speaker 2: how what they think of her in democratic world. I
- 32:53Speaker 2: think Blakeman's got a great shot to win, a very
- 32:57Speaker 2: very good chance of winning. He was always far behind
- 32:59Speaker 2: in when he ran in Nassau County both times, and
- 33:02Speaker 2: he came from behind and won. And he's doing that now.
- 33:05Speaker 2: He's getting higher and higher and hiring the polls. He's
- 33:07Speaker 2: now four or five points behind right now. That's from
- 33:10Speaker 2: twenty three points up to four or five points behind.
- 33:13Speaker 2: And this isn't even really the race yet. It doesn't
- 33:16Speaker 2: even start really seriously until after Labor Day. Hey, hey, hey,
- 33:21Speaker 2: check out my instagram. There's always a lot of stuff
- 33:23Speaker 2: up there. What's up? Oh, actually, you know what, there's
- 33:26Speaker 2: a good candidate. You can take a look at her
- 33:30Speaker 2: on my instagram. She is running for Jerry Nadler's old seat.
- 33:33Speaker 2: She's the Republican candidate, Caroline Shinkle. Make sure you vote
- 33:38Speaker 2: for her too, because we got finally getting rid of
- 33:40Speaker 2: that waddling, fat slab by Jerry Nadler. But she's the
- 33:44Speaker 2: good choice for that seat. What else is on my Instagram? Oh,
- 33:48Speaker 2: anniversary dinner last night for Larry Kudlow and his wife.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Take a look at the video and a whole lot more.
- 33:52Speaker 2: It's all on my Instagram. Go to Mark Simone NYC
- 33:56Speaker 2: at Instagram Mark Simone n yc it instat.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Oh.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Speaking of that, my space is coming back. We'll get
- 34:05Speaker 2: to that coming up. And don't forget. I'm here every
- 34:08Speaker 2: day nine o'clock. Now it's nine am to noon. The
- 34:10Speaker 2: show now starting an hour earlier. We start at nine
- 34:13Speaker 2: am every morning, nine to noon, then Buck and Clay

- 34:24Speaker 2: Sean Hannity, Jesse Kelly at six and every night at nine.
- 34:27Speaker 2: You gotta listen. It's really funny, interesting, great stuff. Nine
- 34:31Speaker 2: to midnight it's Jimmy Fayala on seven to ten WR.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Now three hours every weekday from nine till noon on
- 34:40Speaker 1: seven tenr.
- 34:44Speaker 2: That's right. We start an hour earlier, nine am, oh god,
- 34:48Speaker 2: nine am to noon every day. Hey, it's gonna be
- 34:51Speaker 2: a nice day today. Not the greatest beautiful summer, a
- 34:54Speaker 2: pretty good day. It's gonna be no rain today, no
- 34:57Speaker 2: rain at all, totally dry, partly sun, sunny, off and on.
- 35:01Speaker 2: So this will be the best day of the week weatherwise,
- 35:03Speaker 2: and then tomorrow and Thursday good chance of rain. Then
- 35:10Speaker 2: Friday a really good chance of rain, and so Friday
- 35:13Speaker 2: Saturday might not be so great. So whatever you want
- 35:16Speaker 2: to do outside, do it today. This will be the
- 35:18Speaker 2: nicest day of the week. So that's right. The show
- 35:21Speaker 2: starts an hour earlier. It's nine am till noon every day.

- 35:43Speaker 2: can listen to anytime you want. So don't go away.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Two more hours to go back right after the news
- 35:48Speaker 2: seven
