- 0:00Speaker 1: So get this.
- 0:02Speaker 2: A music sales and chart tracker called Chart Data released
- 0:06Speaker 2: a list of the top, the 10 highest selling songs
- 0:11Speaker 2: released in 2026. Country dominates the top half the list,
- 0:16Speaker 2: but the number one song, like I thought, like if
- 0:20Speaker 2: you were to guess, you would probably go.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Ella Langley.
- 0:22Speaker 1: She's in Texas. Let me go over the top 10
- 0:24Speaker 1: with you real quick.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Sleepless in a Hotel Room, Luke Combs. Risk It All,
- 0:31Speaker 2: Bruno Mars is number nine. Drop Dead, Olivia Rodrigo. Be
- 0:36Speaker 2: By You by Luke Combs. I Can't Love You Anymore,
- 0:39Speaker 2: Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen. E85, E85, Don Toliver.
- 0:45Speaker 4: That's such a good song.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Boston by Stella Lefty. Number three is Janice, STFU by Drake.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Oh, that's good too.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Number two is I Just Might by Bruno Mars. And
- 0:56Speaker 2: this is the number one selling song in 2026 songs.
- 1:01Speaker 5: She drinks wine by the glass, not by the bottle.
- 1:06Speaker 4: She ain't stuck on the past, ain't worried about tomorrow.
- 1:10Speaker 1: She's a lover, a mother, a sister and wife.
- 1:15Speaker 4: She rolls over in the morning to.
- 1:17Speaker 1: The love of her life.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Only smokes one on vacation, says just what she thinks.
- 1:23Speaker 4: She don't need validation or much of anything. I just
- 1:29Speaker 4: want to be her so bad it hurts.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Oh my God, I heard this song. I've been listening
- 1:33Speaker 1: to Ella Langley nonstop. I know this. I love this song.
- 1:37Speaker 1: It's a good song. I was like thinking it was
- 1:41Speaker 1: so clever. I want to be heard so bad. I
- 1:43Speaker 1: heard so bad. I want to be heard. I thought
- 1:45Speaker 1: that was so clever.
- 1:46Speaker 4: It is very clever.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I'm going to go see her, you know.
- 1:48Speaker 6: Oh, you decided you are going to go?
- 1:52Speaker 1: Kinda.
- 1:52Speaker 3: You're just like speaking, you're convincing yourself right now.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I've been listening to her playlist on a loop because
- 2:00Speaker 2: I really want to go to know her music, but
- 2:02Speaker 2: I like her more and more and more.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Her live shows are pretty good too.
- 2:05Speaker 5: Well, because your friends invited you and you didn't want
- 2:07Speaker 5: to be the lame friends because you didn't know any
- 2:08Speaker 5: of the songs, but now you're like, you're learning the
- 2:10Speaker 5: song so you'll be able to sing along too.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I didn't want to go because I think I'm a
- 2:14Speaker 1: lame concert goer.
- 2:15Speaker 6: But not if you like this song and the artist.
- 2:18Speaker 4: I saw you at Drake, you were vibing.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I was sitting in a chair.
- 2:22Speaker 4: You're vibing.
- 2:26Speaker 5: Your husband was vibing.
- 2:28Speaker 2: All right, so look, we got into why it's great
- 2:30Speaker 2: to be single. Now think about being happy if you're
- 2:33Speaker 2: a happy couple.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:35Speaker 5: So there was a question that was posed online. Do
- 2:38Speaker 5: happy couples actually need more fun together? And then Psychology
- 2:42Speaker 5: Today did this piece about something they called joint savoring.
- 2:47Speaker 5: And I kind of love this because it's saying basically
- 2:50Speaker 5: couples don't just benefit from doing enjoyable things together. They
- 2:54Speaker 5: benefit from actively noticing and sharing the enjoyment while it's happening.
- 2:59Speaker 5: So not that it's not enough to go do fun
- 3:02Speaker 5: things together, but it heightens your experience and really kind
- 3:05Speaker 5: of makes you a more happy couple.
- 3:07Speaker 4: I get that.
- 3:07Speaker 5: If per se, while you're out having a great night,
- 3:10Speaker 5: you look at each other and say, this is such
- 3:13Speaker 5: a great night.
- 3:13Speaker 4: We should do this more. I am really enjoying myself.
- 3:17Speaker 5: I am enjoying being with you. Naming a good moment
- 3:19Speaker 5: can actually make it more meaningful. Even if you're thinking it,
- 3:23Speaker 5: just say it out loud. Cause then your joint, you're
- 3:25Speaker 5: savoring that moment with your partner.
- 3:27Speaker 1: That's a really interesting point of view because you know,
- 3:30Speaker 1: over the weekend I was with my wife, we were
- 3:32Speaker 1: in Cancun for a medical convention and I was supposed
- 3:35Speaker 1: to do a bunch of podcasts and do whatever. And
- 3:37Speaker 1: it didn't happen. And none of the podcasts happened. I
- 3:40Speaker 1: was just, and I was like, and she was like.
- 3:42Speaker 2: We're in beautiful Cancun for three days.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Isn't this fun? I was like, No.
- 3:50Speaker 4: No. That's not joint savoring.
- 3:52Speaker 1: She was savoring it.
- 3:53Speaker 4: That's your wife savoring it. That's not a good example
- 3:55Speaker 4: of that. This is you have.
- 3:57Speaker 5: To enjoy it and savor it together. So, for instance,
- 4:00Speaker 5: if you are doing something new together, like they say
- 4:04Speaker 5: this is really great because novelty gives couples something fresh
- 4:08Speaker 5: to share. And then another positive thing they say is if...
- 4:11Speaker 5: If you are like sitting with your partner just on
- 4:13Speaker 5: the couch or in the car driving somewhere, remembering those moments.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Do you remember when we tried paintballing?
- 4:19Speaker 5: That was so fun. And reliving moments where you were
- 4:22Speaker 5: having a great time can actually make you a happier couple.
- 4:27Speaker 6: That makes complete sense to me because... I feel like
- 4:30Speaker 6: I do that a lot with my girlfriends. Like whenever
- 4:32Speaker 6: we go out to go do something fun together, like
- 4:34Speaker 6: it's always a text in the group chat.
- 4:36Speaker 4: That was so much fun. I had the best time.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Let's do it again.
- 4:39Speaker 6: Or if we're in the car driving somewhere, we're reminiscing
- 4:41Speaker 6: on the old times. And I feel like we constantly
- 4:43Speaker 6: do that. And every time I'm with my friends, I
- 4:45Speaker 6: feel fulfilled. Now, if I do it with my partner
- 4:48Speaker 6: and being more intentional with that, I think I could
- 4:50Speaker 6: get that.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Same exact feeling. Your partner, you're married, you're a husband now. Exactly. Yeah,
- 4:53Speaker 4: my man. Yeah, my man.
- 4:56Speaker 5: I had read the study and so it was kind
- 4:58Speaker 5: of like in the back of my mind. And one
- 5:00Speaker 5: of the things on here is like celebrating tiny wins,
- 5:03Speaker 5: not just like huge milestones for your relationship, but like
- 5:06Speaker 5: everyday positives too. And last night we were literally laying
- 5:10Speaker 5: in bed. If you guys remember when we got our puppy,
- 5:11Speaker 5: we had a sleep divorce. We did not sleep in
- 5:13Speaker 5: the same bed together for months.
- 5:16Speaker 1: And I looked at my.
- 5:17Speaker 5: Husband and I go... Let's celebrate this small win right now.
- 5:20Speaker 5: We are laying in bed together. We are about to
- 5:22Speaker 5: go to sleep, and both dogs are in.
- 5:24Speaker 1: The bed being peaceful and getting along. That's big.
- 5:26Speaker 6: Let's celebrate this moment.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 5: And I don't know if Scott necessarily appreciated it as.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Much as I did, but I was like, this is
- 5:33Speaker 4: really good.
- 5:35Speaker 5: This is also a good one. And, John Jay, you
- 5:36Speaker 5: said that you've been actively trying to do this, and
- 5:39Speaker 5: so you didn't even know you're putting in effort to
- 5:42Speaker 5: be a happier couple.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 5:44Speaker 5: By putting your phone down when something good is happening.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, because it's a problem.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Your active attention helps the moment register. So oftentimes, like,
- 5:53Speaker 5: I'll have my phone with me and I'm like, well,
- 5:54Speaker 5: I want to take a picture of this. But then
- 5:55Speaker 5: you're not necessarily actively being in the moment.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Right.
- 5:59Speaker 5: And so that can actually make you a happier couple
- 6:03Speaker 5: just by doing that. And then they also say one
- 6:05Speaker 5: of the most important things is having little traditions. So
- 6:09Speaker 5: repeated positive experiences just become.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Part of your shared identity.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Like we always go get coffee together on National Coffee Day.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Why wouldn't we? It's what we do.
- 6:19Speaker 3: That's why I think the little once a week date,
- 6:21Speaker 3: even if it's like in the afternoon and it's one
- 6:22Speaker 3: little thing, is such a big deal. And one of
- 6:25Speaker 3: my favorite things to do right now with Stacey is
- 6:27Speaker 3: it doesn't cost anything, but I love going to an
- 6:30Speaker 3: open house in a neighborhood.
- 6:31Speaker 4: I'm with you on that.
- 6:32Speaker 1: It's so fun.
- 6:33Speaker 4: I love that. I love it.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I know.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Especially if it's somebody's house. It's so fascinating. Yes. I
- 6:39Speaker 4: want to be nosy.
- 6:40Speaker 5: That's why I relate to Nina.
- 6:41Speaker 6: Nina Scott.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:43Speaker 5: Oh my God.
- 6:44Speaker 3: She's like, of course I'm going to walk through your house.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Like I feel the same way. Does that happen in
- 6:48Speaker 3: an episode or something?
- 6:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:49Speaker 5: She walks through Riley's house.
- 6:50Speaker 3: You get this big old house and she wants to
- 6:52Speaker 3: see what's up there.
- 6:53Speaker 4: So she just takes off and goes and checks it out.
- 6:56Speaker 5: So last on this list together, I think that this
- 6:58Speaker 5: is actually very important because it is looking forward to
- 7:03Speaker 5: something together. Sort of having anticipation itself can add enjoyment,
- 7:08Speaker 5: but also making plans together helps you work towards a
- 7:11Speaker 5: common goal and And that can actually make you a
- 7:13Speaker 5: happier couple. And I kind of love that because it
- 7:16Speaker 5: kind of makes you more of a team. Like we're
- 7:18Speaker 5: looking forward to this together because we're in this together
- 7:21Speaker 5: and we get to do this and experience this together.
- 7:23Speaker 1: That's good stuff, Kyle. Good, happy couple stuff. You know, Peyton,
- 7:27Speaker 1: you said something that really stuck with me. You said
- 7:28Speaker 1: something about being fulfilled.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:30Speaker 2: So I always thought it was fulfilled until I wrote
- 7:33Speaker 2: it down. I write it down the right way.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Fulfilled. But I always say for-filled.
- 7:38Speaker 4: For, like, for your field.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Man, I'm so fulfilled. It's fulfilled. It's kind of like
- 7:44Speaker 1: when you, you know the word bury, when you bury somebody?
- 7:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Oh, it was buried in the ground. When you read it,
- 7:49Speaker 1: it's bury. Yeah. It's so weird.
- 7:51Speaker 3: I know.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Fulfilled, for-filled.
- 7:53Speaker 5: I kind of feel like any word you say over
- 7:55Speaker 5: and over again, you start to go, is that really
- 7:56Speaker 5: the word?
- 7:57Speaker 6: Like, why is that the word?
- 7:58Speaker 4: It's kind of weird.
- 7:58Speaker 2: For-filled.
- 8:00Speaker 1: For-filled. Man, I'm really for-filled.
- 8:02Speaker 5: Fulfilled.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Fulfilled.
- 8:04Speaker 1: You know, you did say it's National Coffee Day today.
- 8:06Speaker 1: We've been talking about that this morning. I have some
- 8:08Speaker 1: quick coffee trivia.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 8:09Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's go. Okay, okay. Ready?
- 8:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:12Speaker 1: So, is it a real coffee brand or is it
- 8:15Speaker 1: something I just made up?
- 8:16Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Rich, Death Wish Coffee. So, if I give you, if
- 8:21Speaker 2: it's a real Joe, you say Joe, right?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Cup of Joe. Joe. Or no Joe. No Joe. Okay.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Death Wish Coffee.
- 8:28Speaker 4: That is real. That is Joe.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Joe, it is. Death Wish Coffee is.
- 8:32Speaker 2: An American coffee brand out of Albany, New York, famous
- 8:34Speaker 2: for producing exceptionally strong high-caffeine coffee.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Peyton, the human bean. Ooh, that definitely sounds like Joe. Joe,
- 8:41Speaker 1: it is. Human bean currently has 260 locations.
- 8:44Speaker 4: A couple of them around here.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I've seen them. Kyle, jittery Joes.
- 8:48Speaker 5: I love that, but then I'm going to say no Joe.
- 8:51Speaker 1: It is a Joe.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Jittery Joe's real coffee company with multiple cafe locations, primarily
- 8:55Speaker 2: in Georgia.
- 8:56Speaker 6: I don't like that.
- 8:57Speaker 5: I feel like it would make you feel like negative
- 8:59Speaker 5: towards it, but okay. All right.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Jittery Joe's.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Rich. Aroma Joe's.
- 9:03Speaker 4: No Joe.
- 9:04Speaker 1: It is a Joe. Oh, it is a Joe. New
- 9:05Speaker 1: England coffee chain known for drive-thrus and friendly service. Peyton.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Mocha Joe's.
- 9:10Speaker 4: That's cute.
- 9:10Speaker 5: No Joe.
- 9:11Speaker 1: No Joe.
- 9:11Speaker 4: That's a.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Kirby enthusiasm.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Kyle.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Latte Larry's.
- 9:18Speaker 5: I want this to be real, so I'm going to
- 9:20Speaker 5: say that's Joe.
- 9:21Speaker 1: No Joe.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Come on, Larry.
- 9:23Speaker 4: Open up Latte Larry's. Great idea for all the Larry's
- 9:26Speaker 4: out there.
- 9:26Speaker 1: It is from Kirby Enthusiasm. He opened it next to
- 9:30Speaker 1: Mocha Joe's.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Spice Store. Okay. Rich Central Perk. Central Perk, no Joe,
- 9:35Speaker 4: but it's Friends, right?
- 9:36Speaker 1: Friends. Peyton, Hot Bikini Brew.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Oh, yep.
- 9:40Speaker 6: That's definitely Joe.
- 9:42Speaker 1: It is a Joe.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Hot Bikini Brews, a coffee chain that has good looking
- 9:45Speaker 2: women serve coffee in the morning wearing bikinis.
- 9:47Speaker 6: Which it's a bummer when they're not wearing bikinis because
- 9:49Speaker 6: sometimes they aren't.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Because there's also the one here, Bikini Beans.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Peyton, Hooters Coffee of Clearwater, Florida.
- 9:57Speaker 6: I'm going to say that's a Joe.
- 9:58Speaker 1: No Joe. What? No Joe. Kyle, Badass Coffee of Vermont. Okay.
- 10:05Speaker 4: There's, yes, yes, that's Joe.
- 10:07Speaker 1: No Joe.
- 10:08Speaker 6: What?
- 10:08Speaker 1: Rich, Badass Coffee of Hawaii. Ah, Joe. That is a Joe. Peyton,
- 10:15Speaker 1: Bottoms Up Espresso.
- 10:18Speaker 4: Uh, no Joe.
- 10:19Speaker 1: It is a Joe.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Oh.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Kyle, Scooter's Coffee.
- 10:22Speaker 4: I love Scooter's Coffee.
- 10:23Speaker 1: That's definitely a joke. It's a joke. That's a joke.
