- 1:10Speaker 1: to her not only about the writing of the book,
- 1:12Speaker 1: but also what it's been like for her to share

- 1:15Speaker 1: able to take away from it as well. Jolana, thank
- 1:17Speaker 1: you so much for the time. Really appreciate it.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Yes, same here.
- 1:20Speaker 3: It's a pleasure to be with you on here. And
- 1:23Speaker 3: so I'm excited about our interview today.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Well, I appreciate that. YPIS Enterprise, hello to you over
- 1:31Speaker 1: there on IG. Glad you could be with us. And
- 1:33Speaker 1: I see you guys over there on YouTube as well. Jelena,
- 1:35Speaker 1: I was saying to you before we went live here
- 1:37Speaker 1: half joking that after reading your book, I feel like
- 1:40Speaker 1: I know you quite well. Even though this is the
- 1:44Speaker 1: first time we've had a real conversation together. How does
- 1:47Speaker 1: it feel to have lived this book and now to
- 1:50Speaker 1: be able to share it with the world?
- 1:53Speaker 2: You know, part of it feels really surreal.
- 1:55Speaker 3: You know, I don't know if you ever experienced that,
- 1:58Speaker 3: you know, things that it looks impossible for you. It
- 2:01Speaker 3: looked like you don't have something just come natural to
- 2:03Speaker 3: some people, but certain things, especially in this particular area,
- 2:08Speaker 3: believing God for a husband looked impossible. And so when,
- 2:11Speaker 3: you know, going through this journey and how I was
- 2:14Speaker 3: really just following instructions and just you know, moving in
- 2:18Speaker 3: obedience in that manner. And here we are today, eight
- 2:21Speaker 3: years in December of marriage. So just want to say that.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Yeah. And it's, it's interesting. And you all, when you
- 2:28Speaker 1: read the book is why you have to get the book.
- 2:30Speaker 1: You'll be able to read about that toward the latter
- 2:32Speaker 1: part of the book. And as you find out even
- 2:34Speaker 1: about her husband in the book as well. And I'm
- 2:37Speaker 1: glad you mentioned that because I mentioned the title of
- 2:39Speaker 1: the book is posture, but the subtitle is how to
- 2:41Speaker 1: believe God for your husband. But I want to say this, Jolana,
- 2:45Speaker 1: after reading the book, I think, you from myself as
- 2:48Speaker 1: a reader, I'm just talking, I know this is your
- 2:50Speaker 1: personal story, but I think the audience will be able
- 2:53Speaker 1: to take how to believe God period. I think from
- 2:56Speaker 1: this book too, because whether it's, you know, they're looking
- 2:59Speaker 1: for a marriage mate, looking for something with their employment,
- 3:02Speaker 1: you know, looking for something in life. I love the
- 3:05Speaker 1: fact that it really does show us the importance of
- 3:08Speaker 1: not only our priorities, but making sure that we are
- 3:11Speaker 1: actually walking in line with what we say we want.
- 3:14Speaker 1: What was that like for you to think about as
- 3:16Speaker 1: you were writing the book, Jolana, that it really was about, OK,
- 3:19Speaker 1: saying what you wanted in your case, a husband. But
- 3:23Speaker 1: then what were you doing? How are you moving in
- 3:25Speaker 1: order to get to that goal?
- 3:27Speaker 3: You know, I just really wanted God's best, to be
- 3:30Speaker 3: honest with you. And so I just noticed that sometimes
- 3:33Speaker 3: we can mess that up when we think that we're,
- 3:35Speaker 3: you know, selecting even in the husband's arena or even
- 3:39Speaker 3: in other things, you know, jobs. So it is really
- 3:42Speaker 3: biblical principles that you can use across the board. And
- 3:46Speaker 3: so for me, it was one of those things like, okay,
- 3:49Speaker 3: what does God say about marriage? I think I talk
- 3:52Speaker 3: about in the book how I looked at the story
- 3:55Speaker 3: of Isaac and Rebecca, like how.
- 3:57Speaker 2: He received his wife.
- 3:59Speaker 3: And I was like, well, listen, if you sent the
- 4:01Speaker 3: angels before the servant to go get his wife, well,
- 4:04Speaker 3: I sent forth my angels. So I literally, I.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Really literally took....
- 4:10Speaker 3: The word for real, for real, like I literally took
- 4:12Speaker 3: it literally, I guess you could say, and applied it.
- 4:16Speaker 2: And it worked.
- 4:17Speaker 3: So every time I was taking different steps, I noticed like, oh, wow, okay,
- 4:21Speaker 3: I see how God was meeting me at every single
- 4:23Speaker 3: step that I took. So it was a list of instructions, right?
- 4:27Speaker 3: It was different things, especially healing. I think a lot
- 4:29Speaker 3: of people don't, you know, a lot of people who
- 4:31Speaker 3: skip that part, you know, when it comes to receiving,
- 4:34Speaker 3: you believe that's God's best. You have to go through
- 4:36Speaker 3: a healing process because you might damage that. the thing
- 4:40Speaker 3: that you're asking for when you receive it.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Right. And I'll take it just a step further based
- 4:46Speaker 1: on your book, Jelena. The other thing is making sure
- 4:48Speaker 1: we're ready for what we're asking for. A lot of
- 4:50Speaker 1: times in life, not just in relationships, but just in anything, right?
- 4:55Speaker 1: We are not actually prepared for what we say we
- 4:58Speaker 1: want and what we're asking God for, which could be
- 5:01Speaker 1: part of why the posture, right? Going to that, it
- 5:04Speaker 1: is so important. I want to talk about your relationship
- 5:08Speaker 1: with God. And the only reason why I'm bringing this up, Jolana,
- 5:10Speaker 1: is because you write about it so openly in the book.
- 5:13Speaker 1: How did you get to a place where you could
- 5:16Speaker 1: be able to not only realize that your best could
- 5:19Speaker 1: only come from God, but also that you had to
- 5:21Speaker 1: rely on God to give it to you?
- 5:25Speaker 3: I think, you know, from the very beginning, I think
- 5:26Speaker 3: I talk about in the book how I used to
- 5:28Speaker 3: make some really bad choices when it came to relationships.
- 5:32Speaker 3: And I was like, listen, I had a reference of God.
- 5:34Speaker 3: You know, I grew up in church still in my adulthood.
- 5:38Speaker 3: I was, you know, had one foot in the street
- 5:39Speaker 3: and one foot in the church. And so but I
- 5:43Speaker 3: just knew that I was like, God, it has to
- 5:45Speaker 3: be something better. Like, you know, I just don't want
- 5:47Speaker 3: a mediocre life. I don't want a mediocre relationship. Like
- 5:51Speaker 3: I'm doing something wrong. I need for you to like
- 5:54Speaker 3: I literally surrender. I was like, help, you know, that
- 5:56Speaker 3: type of situation.
- 5:58Speaker 2: And he started leading me on different journeys at that
- 6:00Speaker 2: particular time.
- 6:01Speaker 3: I didn't even know who T.D. Jakes were, you know,
- 6:03Speaker 3: who he was at that time. And, you know, he
- 6:07Speaker 3: led me to one of his books and I was
- 6:08Speaker 3: reading it. Now I know him, of course, I know
- 6:10Speaker 3: of him or whatever. And I can hear his voice.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I heard his voice while I was reading the book.
- 6:15Speaker 3: So he sent me, you know, on that journey, reading,
- 6:17Speaker 3: start getting spiritual teachings, I should say. And then on
- 6:21Speaker 3: top of that, I started understanding, like, OK, in order
- 6:24Speaker 3: for me to receive this by faith, I have to
- 6:26Speaker 3: hear the word of God. So I started going to,
- 6:29Speaker 3: you know, that's when my relationship started changing as well
- 6:32Speaker 3: and being.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Developed and just really growing in God.
- 6:35Speaker 3: And the more you grow, you realize like, okay, you know, God's,
- 6:39Speaker 3: you know, God's love is unconditional, but his.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Promises are conditional.
- 6:45Speaker 3: So just learning things, you know, just learning the nature
- 6:48Speaker 3: of God in that sense. And a lot of times
- 6:52Speaker 3: we had to get rid of, you know, thinking that
- 6:55Speaker 3: things are harmless could actually hinder certain things.
- 6:59Speaker 2: And I think one thing I mentioned in the book,
- 7:01Speaker 2: I talked about how.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Bad seeds were planted, meaning like, So, you know, early
- 7:06Speaker 3: on in years ago, someone told me that I was
- 7:08Speaker 3: never going to get married.
- 7:10Speaker 2: They said, oh, you're the type of person. And she
- 7:12Speaker 2: just said it so lightly. She said, oh, you're the
- 7:14Speaker 2: type of person don't get married. You're fine, though. Like,
- 7:16Speaker 2: you just don't get married. Like, that's you're that type
- 7:19Speaker 2: of person. I'm like, what? And to be honest with you,
- 7:21Speaker 2: every time a bad.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Relationship came, that thought came up, you know. And so
- 7:27Speaker 3: what I had to really unlearn a lot of things.
- 7:29Speaker 3: I had to really uproot some seeds that were planted
- 7:32Speaker 3: from my past.
- 7:34Speaker 2: And so it was really a healing journey.
- 7:36Speaker 3: And really, I was resulting to God because I just
- 7:38Speaker 3: knew that I couldn't do this alone. Like I did
- 7:41Speaker 3: it before alone and it didn't work out so well.
- 7:44Speaker 3: And so now let me try God. And so that's
- 7:47Speaker 3: how that journey started.
- 7:49Speaker 1: You know, when I got to a certain part and
- 7:51Speaker 1: you and I were briefly joking about it, Jolana, I
- 7:55Speaker 1: thought about, you know, the Bible account about Habakkuk and
- 7:59Speaker 1: Habakkuk asking God, how long? How long am I going
- 8:02Speaker 1: to have to do this? You know, how long is
- 8:04Speaker 1: it you're going to let this happen? And I thought
- 8:06Speaker 1: about that when I was reading a part of your
- 8:08Speaker 1: book where you basically felt like you were doing everything right.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You're asking, OK, why haven't I? Why haven't this happened? Yeah,
- 8:14Speaker 1: you know. But I think the interesting thing about that,
- 8:19Speaker 1: which is why I'm so glad you included it in
- 8:20Speaker 1: the book, is because you have to be careful sometimes
- 8:23Speaker 1: what we ask for because we'll get the answer. So
- 8:25Speaker 1: I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't
- 8:27Speaker 1: read it. But what was it like for you to
- 8:29Speaker 1: realize that even though you felt like you were checking
- 8:32Speaker 1: all the boxes and doing the right thing, that there
- 8:33Speaker 1: were things that you still had to look at and
- 8:36Speaker 1: change your relationship with in your life?
- 8:39Speaker 2: Listen. I was, you know what? I was really at
- 8:42Speaker 2: this point. I was at the point, and I remember
- 8:45Speaker 2: the day when it happened.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I was really at a place like, look, I mean,
- 8:49Speaker 3: I don't understand, like, am I missing something?
- 8:52Speaker 2: Like, what's going on here?
- 8:55Speaker 3: And it was so loud and clear. If you don't
- 8:57Speaker 3: even mention it, I don't have to mention it, but
- 8:58Speaker 3: it didn't wait to read the book. But it was
- 9:00Speaker 3: so loud and clear where, you know, I heard this voice.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And I mean, hey, everybody's on their personal journey.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I can't explain, you know. But I heard this voice
- 9:09Speaker 3: was like, you know, to do this particular thing. And
- 9:11Speaker 3: I was like, what? Because that wasn't even on my mind.
- 9:14Speaker 2: At the time.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I wasn't fully active in that particular relationship. And so
- 9:18Speaker 3: I was like, OK. And see, for me, it was
- 9:21Speaker 3: a no brainer. Like I have gotten to a place
- 9:23Speaker 3: even at that stage and even now, like I'm not
- 9:27Speaker 3: going to be so connected to something that could possibly.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Hinder me, you know, or hinder where I'm going.
- 9:33Speaker 3: And at the end of the day, I didn't even
- 9:38Speaker 3: have the full knowledge of why I had to release
- 9:41Speaker 3: this thing. You know, later on, you know, I started understanding.
- 9:45Speaker 3: But at that time, I didn't have the full revelation
- 9:48Speaker 3: of why.
- 9:49Speaker 2: But guess what? I was like, listen, if this is
- 9:51Speaker 2: the thing, if this is the one thing that you're
- 9:54Speaker 2: saying to give up, guess what?
- 9:56Speaker 3: I'm gonna give it up and when I did do
- 9:58Speaker 3: that I think it was like six or seven months
- 10:01Speaker 3: later my husband showed up and I just thought like
- 10:05Speaker 3: wow just and I was really studying this morning about
- 10:09Speaker 3: obedience like if you like you when you start looking
- 10:12Speaker 3: at the different models of when you know, individuals in
- 10:15Speaker 3: the Bible talks about, you know, um, they believe that
- 10:18Speaker 3: they were, they were in a situation and it was
- 10:20Speaker 3: believing God for a particular thing where it always was
- 10:22Speaker 3: the situation.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Then it was always the instructions. It was our response.
- 10:28Speaker 2: And then guess what? You get the result.
- 10:30Speaker 3: So as long as we do the response, I mean the,
- 10:32Speaker 3: the instructions, right. And so that's what, that's what it did. Like,
- 10:36Speaker 3: I just like, I was just so sold out to
- 10:38Speaker 3: the point where I'm not married to that particular thing.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:42Speaker 3: And you know, I had friends, family members that were
- 10:45Speaker 3: involved in, you know, those types of relationships. And listen,
- 10:50Speaker 3: we're still friends, we're still family, but this is my
- 10:53Speaker 3: personal journey there. And I would say to people like,
- 10:55Speaker 3: there's not a person that could put me in hell
- 10:57Speaker 3: or heaven. Right. And so at the end of the day,
- 11:00Speaker 3: this is my personal journey. So that's what happened.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Yeah. That was amazing. Yeah.
- 11:05Speaker 1: And this, and thank you so much for sharing it,
- 11:06Speaker 1: but this is why I said what I said earlier, Jelena,
- 11:09Speaker 1: about this book is bigger than for myself. And I
- 11:12Speaker 1: guess I'm speaking as a happily single guy here is
- 11:15Speaker 1: so the marriage part was not of interest to me
- 11:18Speaker 1: at all, but I could, I could fill in that
- 11:21Speaker 1: blank with work with, you know, I mean, so we
- 11:25Speaker 1: all have something right that we have to be able
- 11:28Speaker 1: to look at and say, okay, am I cheating on
- 11:31Speaker 1: my relationship with God with this thing? And I, that's
- 11:34Speaker 1: what I got when I got to that part in
- 11:36Speaker 1: the book that, that it really was about, okay, You know,
- 11:40Speaker 1: could I be putting something in front of God? I
- 11:42Speaker 1: hadn't even realized that I had just by what I said.
- 11:45Speaker 1: And what I love about, again, to talk around what
- 11:48Speaker 1: you had to experience, you know, have I made vows
- 11:51Speaker 1: to things, you know, that are really putting me in opposition,
- 11:55Speaker 1: you know, to my relationship with God. Tracy on Facebook. Hey, Tracy,
- 11:59Speaker 1: good to see you. Tracy said it's all about being
- 12:01Speaker 1: willing and obedient. That's so true. And I think that's
- 12:03Speaker 1: the big thing. I want to say for those who
- 12:05Speaker 1: are just tuning in, welcome. You all are watching. Cyrus
- 12:08Speaker 1: represents Melba Moore. Hello to you, Ms.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Moore.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Good to be able to see you over there on
- 12:11Speaker 1: IG and also you all joining us over there on Amazon.
- 12:15Speaker 1: We're talking today with Jolana W. Herman. She's the author
- 12:18Speaker 1: of the book you guys can see here. It's called Posture.
- 12:20Speaker 1: The subtitle of the book is How to Believe God
- 12:23Speaker 1: for Your Husband. But again, as a reader, you can
- 12:26Speaker 1: be able to feel that in whatever that thing is
- 12:28Speaker 1: for you. I want to talk about your happy ending
- 12:31Speaker 1: because we do get to know when you were meeting
- 12:33Speaker 1: your husband. We get to hear from him, of course,
- 12:37Speaker 1: in the book as well. What was that like for
- 12:40Speaker 1: you to be able to share that with us, but
- 12:42Speaker 1: also to reflect on yourself how it all came about?
- 12:45Speaker 2: This is so crazy. So I'm a dreamer.
- 12:48Speaker 3: So God works me through dreams. So I had a dream.
- 12:51Speaker 3: And so I met his sister at the church. I
- 12:53Speaker 3: was a member at that time. And in the dream,
- 12:57Speaker 3: they're from the Caribbean. And so in the dream, she
- 12:59Speaker 3: was my wedding planner and I was getting married and
- 13:01Speaker 3: I was so excited. And I was just like, oh,
- 13:04Speaker 3: my goodness, I'm getting married, but I don't know who
- 13:06Speaker 3: I'm going to marry. And this was in the dream.
- 13:10Speaker 3: And so I told her this in real life. And
- 13:13Speaker 3: in the dream, she just like, huh.
- 13:14Speaker 2: You know, that kind of thing. Right. And she did
- 13:16Speaker 2: the same thing in real life.
- 13:18Speaker 3: And so I didn't realize that God was unfolding things
- 13:21Speaker 3: in the background.
- 13:23Speaker 2: So he showed me the dream. He was speaking to
- 13:25Speaker 2: her about her brother. I didn't even know.
- 13:27Speaker 3: She didn't even mention her brother to me. And so
- 13:30Speaker 3: it was really a journey. I was really about to
- 13:32Speaker 3: lose the journey, though. I was about to lose my
- 13:34Speaker 3: lose the opportunity because I felt like. You know, he
- 13:38Speaker 3: wasn't at a certain place that that I thought he
- 13:41Speaker 3: should have been, I guess, or, you know, religious wise that,
- 13:44Speaker 3: you know, you're supposed to be or whatever. And I
- 13:47Speaker 3: remembered his posture, his posture. He was, you know, when
- 13:50Speaker 3: I was getting ready to put him in a friend zone,
- 13:52Speaker 3: he said.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Listen, you know what? You know, we're good. Let's let me.
- 13:57Speaker 2: He said, I care about you and I'm here for
- 13:59Speaker 2: the long haul. And I remember thinking like, OK, OK.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And so during that journey, you have to get the
- 14:04Speaker 3: book because during that journey, while he was there or here,
- 14:07Speaker 3: North Carolina, he, you know, I felt, oh my God,
- 14:11Speaker 3: we both felt in love. Like it was head over heels.
- 14:14Speaker 3: And that was all she wrote from there. So it's
- 14:17Speaker 3: just amazing just to see. It's really, truly a love story.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Like it's really a love story at the end, how
- 14:23Speaker 3: I got to him. And he always reminds me, he said,
- 14:26Speaker 3: I remember the tree I was under when I prayed
- 14:28Speaker 3: for you.
- 14:30Speaker 2: And I was just like, oh, wow.
- 14:32Speaker 3: And so, God, I'm telling you, like, he's in the
- 14:35Speaker 3: setting up business, okay, when it comes to dating.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:39Speaker 1: And I think, too, hey, Terrence, it's good to be
- 14:41Speaker 1: able to see you over there on IG as well. KBA,
- 14:44Speaker 1: hello to you as well over there on IG. But
- 14:46Speaker 1: to that point, again, that's why I think there's so
- 14:48Speaker 1: many different audiences for this book, Jelana, because even as
- 14:51Speaker 1: you were talking, I think what it really shows, too,
- 14:54Speaker 1: is that, you know, when you are truly serious about
- 14:57Speaker 1: something that you want, if you're doing your part, then
- 15:00Speaker 1: God will definitely bless your efforts. I think about what
- 15:04Speaker 1: Paul said about him and Apollos. They can plant, they
- 15:07Speaker 1: can water, but it's God that makes it grow. And
- 15:09Speaker 1: I think it's all about that timing, which is why
- 15:11Speaker 1: I think the title, Posture, and I have to admit,
- 15:15Speaker 1: when you and I first connected and I bought the
- 15:17Speaker 1: book on Amazon, I didn't know why the book was
- 15:19Speaker 1: called Posture.
- 15:21Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 15:22Speaker 1: So why don't you tell our audience why you chose,
- 15:25Speaker 1: because after reading the book, the word that comes to
- 15:29Speaker 1: mind is, is patience. But why, why did you decide
- 15:33Speaker 1: on posture for the title?
- 15:35Speaker 2: Because you have to get in position.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Like everything that I talked about in the book, it
- 15:40Speaker 3: was literally me getting in position, like literally, like, I mean,
- 15:45Speaker 3: position to, for the mindset and position for healing to position,
- 15:49Speaker 3: position to receive the position. I mean, I literally, so
- 15:53Speaker 3: when I really thought about this whole process, cause the
- 15:55Speaker 3: name changed several times before I published it, And really
- 15:59Speaker 3: the common denominator was posture and even discipling or mentoring
- 16:05Speaker 3: other young ladies. And it's always because they're out of posture.
- 16:10Speaker 3: They're not in position. We say we want a particular
- 16:13Speaker 3: thing because in the book, I think I talked about how,
- 16:16Speaker 3: I think I put that in there about how I
- 16:19Speaker 3: had a desire to be married, but then I had
- 16:22Speaker 3: a revelation that I had commitment issues.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I'm like, what? That doesn't make any sense. You know
- 16:28Speaker 2: what I'm saying? Well, well, the reason, because I had
- 16:34Speaker 2: to go through a healing process. It was some things
- 16:36Speaker 2: I had to.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Go through because, you know, you just don't want to
- 16:38Speaker 3: just be married. Like, I mean, I could have been
- 16:40Speaker 3: married a long time ago, to be honest with you.
- 16:42Speaker 3: But you want to make sure that is the best thing.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Like you don't want to hinder him and you don't
- 16:46Speaker 3: want him to hinder you either. And so that's the
- 16:50Speaker 3: reason why it's called posture.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Got you. Dale Harrison, hello to you over there on LinkedIn.
- 16:55Speaker 1: We have people all over the place. Appreciate y'all. Dale says,
- 16:58Speaker 1: I'm so happy to hear this. It really is an
- 17:00Speaker 1: inspiring story and I'm so glad you shared it. And
- 17:03Speaker 1: I just want to mention one thing again as a
- 17:05Speaker 1: reader for my audience out there. The other thing that
- 17:07Speaker 1: I love about this book is that it really shows
- 17:10Speaker 1: that you have to take these things seriously. One of
- 17:12Speaker 1: the things that concerns me so much, Jelana, and I
- 17:15Speaker 1: see it so much is that people see dating and
- 17:17Speaker 1: marriage almost as entertainment, just something to do.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I'm bored.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I'm just going to You know, just play around. I'm like,
- 17:25Speaker 1: I don't think that's the way it's supposed to be.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I don't think that's that's what it's set up for.
- 17:28Speaker 1: But I love the fact that you were very intentional
- 17:31Speaker 1: and that definitely comes through in the book. And I
- 17:34Speaker 1: think that's a great message for our audience out there
- 17:36Speaker 1: that maybe you're not getting what you want because of
- 17:38Speaker 1: the way you look at it and the way you
- 17:40Speaker 1: treat it. And if you're not going to treat it
- 17:43Speaker 1: as something that's precious and sacred, especially as marriage is
- 17:46Speaker 1: kind of ordained by God. Then that could be part
- 17:49Speaker 1: of the reason. What is your hope, though, when men
- 17:52Speaker 1: and women read this book, Jolana, what do you hope
- 17:55Speaker 1: posture does for them?
- 17:57Speaker 3: To be honest with you, you know, the first thing,
- 17:59Speaker 3: you know, so when you ask that question, because the
- 18:00Speaker 3: first thing that comes to my mind is that they
- 18:02Speaker 3: really get a closer relationship with God. Because in order
- 18:06Speaker 3: to receive his best or receive those, you know, the
- 18:09Speaker 3: results that you're looking for, you do become like it automatically,
- 18:13Speaker 3: you automatically come closer to God. And so I think
- 18:16Speaker 3: relationship is key, man. I mean, if you get that
- 18:19Speaker 3: relationship right, then you can have any other relationship. Right.
- 18:22Speaker 2: And so that's the biggest thing.
- 18:23Speaker 3: And then also, I believe that, you know, if that's
- 18:26Speaker 3: a desire in your heart to be married, well, I'm
- 18:29Speaker 3: believing that when you receive this book, you're going to meet.
- 18:31Speaker 2: The right one at the right time. And then, you know,
- 18:34Speaker 2: it'd be the right marriage. Right. And so I've already
- 18:37Speaker 2: heard some people give me feedback. from the book. And
- 18:40Speaker 2: one told me like, after she's like, I did everything
- 18:43Speaker 2: that you said in the book.
- 18:44Speaker 3: And after that, someone showed up like, Hey, asking me like,
- 18:48Speaker 3: you know what?
- 18:48Speaker 2: You're such a nice lady. You're a good looking lady.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I have someone that I want to introduce you to.
- 18:53Speaker 2: And she was like, what? And she was like, if
- 18:55Speaker 2: there was such a thing regarding love at first.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Sight, she's like, Jelana, I'm experiencing it. And I was like, wow.
- 19:02Speaker 3: I said, God gets the glory for that. Cause listen,
- 19:04Speaker 3: if he did it for me, I'm just only Jelana Herman.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Okay. If he did it for me, he could do
- 19:09Speaker 2: it for others as well.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Well, Jelana, I told you that the time flies by.
- 19:14Speaker 1: It is such a great, it's such a great book.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I'm so, so happy that you decided to share your story.
- 19:20Speaker 1: And if I could just say one more thing for
- 19:22Speaker 1: our audience out there that I took away from Jelana's
- 19:24Speaker 1: book too, is the importance of being obedient. A lot
- 19:28Speaker 1: of times we, you know, we are so, so set
- 19:31Speaker 1: on what we want and we don't wait on God's timing.
- 19:36Speaker 1: as well as what is actually from God. Because again,
- 19:38Speaker 1: we can be in such a hurry. And I love
- 19:40Speaker 1: the fact that she was able to wait. And I
- 19:42Speaker 1: think that's such an important thing for all of us, right?
- 19:46Speaker 1: And when it comes to life and making decisions, if
- 19:48Speaker 1: we're truly saying that we're going to to be led
- 19:50Speaker 1: by God, making sure that he's the one we're listening
- 19:53Speaker 1: to and not our own anxieties and impatience as well. Again, everyone,
- 19:59Speaker 1: Gerlana W. Herman has been our guest. The book is
- 20:01Speaker 1: called Poster. Again, the subtitle is How to Believe God

- 20:35Speaker 3: it's so funny that you mentioned like this can be used.

- 20:59Speaker 3: it manifest.
