- 2:39Speaker 3: I went and saw a comedy sort of rom com
- 2:41Speaker 3: based on a true story movie, and you when it
- 2:43Speaker 3: saw a similar like a based on a true story.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Yeah, loosely based on a true story about iconic table
- 2:49Speaker 1: tennis player Marty Supreme.
- 2:51Speaker 3: So that's exciting, and everyone's sort of on waiting with
- 2:54Speaker 3: baited breath for us to rip under that. That'll probably
- 2:56Speaker 3: happen a little later on the show, maybe after seven.
- 3:00Speaker 3: But my movie was extremely early and your movie was
- 3:03Speaker 3: extremely late. What time did you go to the movie?
- 3:05Speaker 3: What time did it start?
- 3:07Speaker 4: This movie started at eight to fifteen pm?
- 3:10Speaker 3: Okay, eight fifteen pm. Yeah, I assume pm because we
- 3:13Speaker 3: were doing the radio at eight fifteen am, so.
- 3:14Speaker 4: In the it was like not the afternoon, but a
- 3:16Speaker 4: bit later than that in the evening time.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Yeah, what time did it actually start? Was there fifteen
- 3:21Speaker 3: minutes of trailers beforehand?
- 3:22Speaker 4: Give it a good ten or fifteen minutes of trailers?
- 3:24Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 3:24Speaker 3: Eight thirty runtime approximately two hours.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Just a sidebar, do you play the alphabet game when
- 3:28Speaker 1: you're watching the trailers. No, what's that where you try
- 3:31Speaker 1: and clock every letter from the alphabet in order.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Through the movie previews?
- 3:35Speaker 3: But now the movie starts.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Great game if you ever go to the movies anyway,
- 3:38Speaker 1: beside the point that fifteen odd minutes of trailer, So
- 3:41Speaker 1: we beat the alphabet game, movie starts fantastic.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Eight thirty two hour runtime ten thirty. By the time
- 3:47Speaker 3: you get out, you get to your car, you drive home,
- 3:49Speaker 3: it's close to eleven pm.
- 3:51Speaker 4: No, no, it was eleven pm when we got out.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Oh wow, okay, so eleven pm. By the time you
- 3:57Speaker 3: get home, you brush your teeth. Yeah, you know, have
- 3:59Speaker 3: a bubble. I thought, whatever you need to do finally
- 4:01Speaker 3: wind down and go to sleep, which I don't takes
- 4:03Speaker 3: you a wee while to wind down.
- 4:05Speaker 4: I do like a wine down.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I like a TikTok. I like to watch a TikTok TikTok.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Read some book.
- 4:09Speaker 3: You hop in a scroll hole for a bit. There,
- 4:12Speaker 3: I'm thinking it was well after midnight.
- 4:14Speaker 4: No, No, fortunately it wasn't that far right.
- 4:17Speaker 3: I was lights out eleven thirty seven, eleven thirty seven,
- 4:20Speaker 3: eleven thirty seven pm. Okay, not too bad. I, on
- 4:24Speaker 3: the other hand, went and saw a first of all,
- 4:26Speaker 3: had a hot date with my wife. We met up
- 4:28Speaker 3: at a restaurant. Oh yeah, and the time of meeting
- 4:33Speaker 3: was quarter past five.
- 4:34Speaker 4: You role playing as strangers again, pugs.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Huh save it for hoody j mate. Sorry, I wouldn't
- 4:38Speaker 3: do anything sifty. We ate a luxe together. That's so No,
- 4:42Speaker 3: it was actually, it was all over. We were to
- 4:44Speaker 3: Actually she had to wear a bib.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Yeah, that's hot. So we enjoyed. We enjoyed a luxe together.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Five point fifteen we met up, and then at six
- 4:52Speaker 3: pm we walked across the road to the movie theater
- 4:55Speaker 3: and at six fifteen the movie started. Great, the movie started.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Right, yeh see, that's nice keeping to time.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yeah. We each had a rid pino and shed some popcorn,
- 5:06Speaker 3: watched the movie, left the movie theater, came down the escalators,
- 5:10Speaker 3: and I had to put my sunglasses on because it
- 5:11Speaker 3: was still so bright and the sunset was shining through
- 5:14Speaker 3: the windows directly into my eyes. Really, that was bizarre
- 5:17Speaker 3: going to a dinner in a movie and coming out
- 5:19Speaker 3: and having to put your sunglasses on. Yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 4: I'm not a fan of leaving the movies in the daylight.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Yeah right, weeds me out.
- 5:25Speaker 3: What if you're covering breakfast and make Yeah, so we
- 5:30Speaker 3: drove home without the headlights on it like it was light.
- 5:33Speaker 3: By the time we got home, it was starting to
- 5:35Speaker 3: darken up. You know. I had a cup of tea.
- 5:36Speaker 3: I had a little Cama Miles sleepy tea into bed
- 5:40Speaker 3: and I was falling asleep at about nine thirty nine.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Old People Time it rules. Man, I'm going to start
- 5:47Speaker 3: running my entire life on Old people Time. Have dinner,
- 5:50Speaker 3: you know, you's start getting hungry at about four thirty pm.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Start thinking about dinner. You're eating dinner at five point thirty.
- 5:55Speaker 3: You know, you might have supper at like eight thirty
- 5:58Speaker 3: pm and then off to bed. Yeah.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Right, So this Friday, when we're in Totunger for the
- 6:02Speaker 1: Black Class, you're probably just hopping a bit about six fifteen.
- 6:04Speaker 4: I'll cover the rest of the show for you.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Am. Yeah, it's a good idea. Oh is this Queen's
- 6:09Speaker 3: and Stone Age? Yeah? Coulda stop doing that? That's what
- 6:11Speaker 3: Jays does. He knows it's Queen's in the Stone Age,
- 6:14Speaker 3: he doesn't he can't read the screw. Oh yeah, that's true.

- 7:01Speaker 1: line up from first a full on live show to
- 7:03Speaker 1: start the year off and then straight into the commentary.
- 7:06Speaker 4: But I know he's gonna love it.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Well. I can tell you. I can tell you that
- 7:08Speaker 3: I played golf for them yesterday, Pugs. He got his
- 7:11Speaker 3: all time best score by the way, ninety one. I'm
- 7:13Speaker 3: sure I'll hear about it. He played very well. I
- 7:16Speaker 3: was very proud of him. Yeah, and I talked. I
- 7:20Speaker 3: was like, oh, you know you're still on holiday, mate,
- 7:22Speaker 3: you still got four days off. That's why he played
- 7:23Speaker 3: so well. You're so chill. And he's like, I'm not chill, kezy,
- 7:25Speaker 3: I've got to come back and do a live show
- 7:27Speaker 3: and then do a commentary toever a million people. But
- 7:30Speaker 3: I'm like, mate, you've done so many games of cricket.
- 7:32Speaker 3: He's done cricket commentary for like a decade. Yeah, he's
- 7:36Speaker 3: done live TV, he's done live radio. But for some reason,
- 7:39Speaker 3: it still gets nervous with the Black Clash.
- 7:40Speaker 4: I think it's very sweet.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Yeah, to be fair, what he said was, once I'm
- 7:45Speaker 3: through the first thirty seconds, keasy, I'll be fine. That's
- 7:48Speaker 3: how he said it. You know how he talks like
- 7:49Speaker 3: they're doing a presidential announcement. No, that's just how he
- 7:51Speaker 3: talks about Okay, Right, the Black Clash is happening. The
- 7:55Speaker 3: satity Team Cricket taking on Team Rugby. You've got Tim Soudi,
- 7:58Speaker 3: Neil Wagner, Cayle mill Hamish Marshall, Jesse Ryder. That's an

- 8:47Speaker 3: have we got lined up? There? Brother?
- 8:48Speaker 4: What have we got lined up?
- 8:49Speaker 1: Kee Zi didn't give me time to read food Fighters
- 8:53Speaker 1: and we got some garbage too.
- 8:55Speaker 4: What do you mean after the food Fighters? Oh so
- 8:58Speaker 4: not the band garbage.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Now the Hiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Tune in on.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Radio Hoaky Garbage on the Hudcky Brick for show at
- 9:09Speaker 3: six forty am this Tuesday morning with Keizy and Pugsun
- 9:12Speaker 3: and Pugs. The most expensive pie in New Zealand comes
- 9:17Speaker 3: from Hamnah Springs.
- 9:19Speaker 4: That makes sense.
- 9:20Speaker 1: It's got a boutique sort of township just at a
- 9:23Speaker 1: christ Churchain.
- 9:23Speaker 3: That's right. It's about an hour or so away from
- 9:25Speaker 3: christ Church there, lovely in winter, known for its baths,
- 9:28Speaker 3: hot baths, the spring springs. Yes, correct, it's known for
- 9:32Speaker 3: its hot springs. Yeah, you go there in winter, it's
- 9:35Speaker 3: the snow on the ground, you hop on a nice
- 9:38Speaker 3: hot pool there. It's a very very nice place to
- 9:40Speaker 3: go visit. So I'm not surprised that Hamna Springs is
- 9:42Speaker 3: the place in New Zealand that has the most expensive pies.
- 9:45Speaker 3: You like pies, right, Pugs? What makes you say that, Chris?
- 9:49Speaker 3: You love a pie? Wa say that?
- 9:50Speaker 1: What I'm eating all the pies? Is that what you're
- 9:52Speaker 1: trying to say? Well, I've seen you eat plenty of pies,
- 9:54Speaker 1: Yeah you have. I am massively into my pies, are
- 9:57Speaker 1: beginning more into them lately, actually, just trying certain ones
- 10:01Speaker 1: that every time I go past the bakery.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Now I'm looking at the pastry.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Every time you go past the bakery every time.
- 10:06Speaker 1: No, no, you're looking. I'm window shopping, oh right, window
- 10:09Speaker 1: shopping for pies. And hey, if it's a great day,
- 10:12Speaker 1: maybe I'll get a pie.
- 10:13Speaker 3: But I'm trying.
- 10:13Speaker 1: If you're around Tim and Kimikoto where we are, and
- 10:17Speaker 1: like the really gourmet ones, there is some really gourmet
- 10:20Speaker 1: pies now, and a lot of pies have almost been gentrified,
- 10:23Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like they're really just like
- 10:25Speaker 1: hamming up the gourmet, hamming up the price factor. What
- 10:28Speaker 1: did I have the other day of brisket and halapin
- 10:31Speaker 1: your cheese one?
- 10:31Speaker 3: It sounds delicious, It was so good.
- 10:33Speaker 1: See.
- 10:34Speaker 3: The good thing about pies is you can still go
- 10:36Speaker 3: to the dairy and get a big bean out of
- 10:38Speaker 3: the pie.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Warmer if you want. Well, yeah, but now my taste
- 10:41Speaker 1: is getting more sophisticated.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Not you, but people can yes, yes, you know. And
- 10:45Speaker 3: then there's the fancy side of pies. Which, to be fair,
- 10:48Speaker 3: this this pie in particular, is very fancy. Would you
- 10:51Speaker 3: like to take a GISs at the price. And this
- 10:53Speaker 3: is not like a like a restaurant, this is a bakery.
- 10:57Speaker 3: The most expensive pie you see on them? How much
- 10:59Speaker 3: does it.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Cost I'm going to go if I'm going really expensive
- 11:04Speaker 1: for a pie? Yeah, thirteen dollars.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Thirteen dollars. Yeah, that's an expensive pie. Like if I
- 11:13Speaker 3: went to buy a pie and went up to the
- 11:15Speaker 3: counter and they said thirteen dollars out of the shop.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and it is swing more expensive than the
- 11:20Speaker 1: most expensive one I've had, which is about ten dollars
- 11:23Speaker 1: ten or eleven yeard, yeah, and like that would have
- 11:25Speaker 1: been a you know, like premium brisket and all poor
- 11:27Speaker 1: belly or something.
- 11:29Speaker 3: You're wrong, it's higher than that. Keep going, keep going,
- 11:32Speaker 3: keep going.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Fifteen bucks, mat Hi high, eighteen bars Hi, come on,
- 11:37Speaker 1: twenty No double it, you're taking the pass.
- 11:41Speaker 3: It is fifty dollars. The most expensive pie in New
- 11:45Speaker 3: Zealand Pj's Pies and Ham the Springs now for fifty dollars.
- 11:49Speaker 3: What do you think is inside? Shut him down? Bucks?
- 11:53Speaker 3: What do you think is inside? Shut him down? No?
- 11:55Speaker 1: No, no, no disrespect. I would try the pie, not for
- 11:58Speaker 1: fifty bucks. So what oh I think's in it?
- 12:00Speaker 3: A caaver? Is it a seafood pie? Seafood pie? Bang
- 12:05Speaker 3: called it maybe oysters or something. No, it's crayfish. Oh yeah,
- 12:09Speaker 3: and this is it's made by Pj's Pies, run by
- 12:12Speaker 3: a couple of former Swiss chefs. Okay, and they are
- 12:17Speaker 3: made special to order, so it does a bakery that
- 12:19Speaker 3: does pies. But basically, oh, you want one of the
- 12:20Speaker 3: crayfish pies, there are limited time while they've got crayfish
- 12:23Speaker 3: and in season and blah blah bla bla blah. Still
- 12:25Speaker 3: not paying fifty bucks totally. Apparently they make no money
- 12:28Speaker 3: from it, basically the same profit margin as a regular
- 12:30Speaker 3: pie because the ingredients cost so much. They put a
- 12:32Speaker 3: bottle of cognac in the mixture when they're making all
- 12:35Speaker 3: the like there's all these fancy ingredients and stuff. You
- 12:38Speaker 3: don't have to buy it.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Pipe No, I'm just saying, like, am I going to
- 12:41Speaker 1: notice the cognac and my crayfish pie?
- 12:44Speaker 3: Maybe you'd be wasted after you eat it. But they
- 12:47Speaker 3: make apparently they it makes as much of a margin
- 12:49Speaker 3: on it, like it's they're literally just doing it because
- 12:51Speaker 3: they wanted to make it delicious crayfish pie, and the
- 12:54Speaker 3: only way to make some money was to make it
- 12:56Speaker 3: fifty dollars. Everyone that's tried it has said it's absolutely delicious. Yeah, However,
- 13:02Speaker 3: fifty if you're getting fifty bucks out of your pocket
- 13:04Speaker 3: and getting a pie, yeah, you better be getting about
- 13:06Speaker 3: ten pies in return.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Ten pires worth a pie like I want, like a massive,
- 13:11Speaker 1: like a full family sized pie.
- 13:12Speaker 4: That's from paying fifty bucks.
- 13:14Speaker 1: It's like, and you know what, that makes sense to
- 13:15Speaker 1: me because it's a gourmet, expensive meal.
- 13:17Speaker 3: That's right. Crayfish kanyak, Would you pay fifty dollars for
- 13:20Speaker 3: a pie? New Zealand let us know on three four
- 13:22Speaker 3: eighty three and then Pugs will go through those texts
- 13:25Speaker 3: and send out the winner one of these crayfish pies.
- 13:27Speaker 4: I'm going to be rate you for paying fifty bucks
- 13:29Speaker 4: for a pie.

- 15:03Speaker 3: we watched last night. You watched Marty Supreme, which is
- 15:07Speaker 3: a sort of based on true story about a ping
- 15:09Speaker 3: pong player from America.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Yeah, Marty Mauser.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Starring Timothy Shallamy.
- 15:14Speaker 4: And a slew of other great characters. We'll get into.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Can't wait. I'll be reviewing Is This Thing On? Starring
- 15:20Speaker 3: Will Arnette, directed by Bradley Cooper, who's also in an
- 15:24Speaker 3: interesting true story about one of my favorite UK comedians,
- 15:27Speaker 3: John Bishop, Well loosely based on what actually happened to
- 15:29Speaker 3: him and how he became a stand up comic.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Yeah, right, quite interesting.
- 15:32Speaker 3: However, while we're on the topic of movies, we have
- 15:34Speaker 3: got tickets to give away to the new the fourth
- 15:38Speaker 3: installment of the twenty eight Days Later post apocalyptic horror
- 15:42Speaker 3: film series. It's called twenty eight Years Later.
- 15:46Speaker 4: You're not a horror movie guy. Have you seen any
- 15:48Speaker 4: of these? I haven't seen any of them. I've seen
- 15:50Speaker 4: the first two, so.
- 15:52Speaker 3: That twenty eight days later, twenty eight weeks later.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Yeah, and then eight years later, well months later, know
- 15:57Speaker 1: that no, no, no years later, twenty eight years later, and.
- 16:00Speaker 3: This is twenty eight years later the Bone Temple.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Yeah, twenty eight years later, Part two.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Right, isn't your bedroom called the Bone Temple? Isn't that
- 16:07Speaker 3: what you call it? Yes? Who do you want to
- 16:12Speaker 3: take to the Bone Temple? New Zealand? Give us a
- 16:14Speaker 3: text on three four eight three can you see ou
- 16:16Speaker 3: from the drawer for that double pass and we'll get
- 16:18Speaker 3: into the movie reviews after a bit of bush.
- 16:22Speaker 2: The Huriarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 16:25Speaker 2: in four on Radio Hodak Chili's on the Hidicky Big
- 16:29Speaker 2: Show twelve minutes past seven this Tuesday morning with Keezy
- 16:32Speaker 2: and Pugs.
- 16:33Speaker 3: The Big Show back this Friday afternoon, by the way,
- 16:35Speaker 3: four pm. See you there, Bruco, Mount MoMA Nui, Pugs.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Last night I went to the movies, so did you.
- 16:40Speaker 3: We both went and saw different films. We're going to
- 16:42Speaker 3: review both of them, starting with you.
- 16:44Speaker 4: I'm getting a feeling that they're very different films.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Keezy, I went and saw one of the greatest marketed movies.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I've seen a lot of it. It's insane.
- 16:51Speaker 1: It started with a mysterious jacket that Timothy Challamy and
- 16:55Speaker 1: his girlfriend Kylie Jenner were wearing that said Marty Supreme
- 16:58Speaker 1: on the front, and it's ended up with him standing
- 17:01Speaker 1: on top of the Las Vegas Sphere turning it into
- 17:03Speaker 1: a giant table tennis ball.
- 17:04Speaker 3: All of this out the gate stuff.
- 17:05Speaker 1: That jacket, by the way, is selling for like fifteen
- 17:09Speaker 1: k us, right, like they're so in demand.
- 17:11Speaker 4: All these celebrities were wearing them.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Right, So I haven't seen any of that stuff. I
- 17:15Speaker 3: just got lots of photos of Timothy Schlla mate holding
- 17:19Speaker 3: a ping pong bat on my Instagram. Yeah, lots of
- 17:21Speaker 3: lots of that. Now.
- 17:22Speaker 1: This film is directed by Josh Safty. He is one
- 17:25Speaker 1: of the Safty brothers who got very famous together for
- 17:29Speaker 1: directing movies like Good Time, Uncut Gems, Benny Safty, his
- 17:34Speaker 1: brother did The Smashing Machine, which is that rock UFC
- 17:37Speaker 1: finding one that came out last year, one that Mogi hated,
- 17:39Speaker 1: the one that Moggi hated. They're not known for making
- 17:42Speaker 1: relaxing movies, right, I'll say that.
- 17:44Speaker 4: So Good Time is one of my favorite movies.
- 17:46Speaker 1: It stars Robert Pattinson and he is Basically their specialty
- 17:49Speaker 1: is creating films about male manipulators on the hinges of
- 17:54Speaker 1: disaster right every single minute of the entire movie, and
- 17:59Speaker 1: this one was no different. This was Now that's what
- 18:01Speaker 1: I call a shit show. Twenty twenty six came out
- 18:05Speaker 1: on Christmas Day. It was so stressful right the entire time.
- 18:11Speaker 1: It's got an all star cast. Timothy Chalamay is in it,
- 18:13Speaker 1: You've got Fran Dresher, You've got one of the guys
- 18:16Speaker 1: from dragons Den is in it.
- 18:18Speaker 4: Some guy that Josh Sefty saw in an online video.
- 18:20Speaker 1: One thing they're really good at is picking characters that
- 18:24Speaker 1: you remember, even if they're.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Only in the movie for like a minute.
- 18:29Speaker 1: They are unique looking, sounding, and they stay with you
- 18:32Speaker 1: throughout the whole film. Basically, it's about a table tennis
- 18:35Speaker 1: player who is trying to hustle his way to the top,
- 18:39Speaker 1: scamming people left, right and center on the way and
- 18:42Speaker 1: not caring who. He kind of hurts to do it,
- 18:43Speaker 1: but he's in complete denial. He's like a total narcissist
- 18:46Speaker 1: right and has no idea of the impact that he's
- 18:48Speaker 1: having on other people and isn't bothered about it because
- 18:51Speaker 1: he's got a vision and it's his obligation to fulfill
- 18:55Speaker 1: that vision of being the best table tennis player in
- 18:57Speaker 1: the world, and he doesn't care who he screws to
- 19:00Speaker 1: get it right.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Okay, So it was it an enjoyable watch? I know
- 19:03Speaker 3: you said it was stressful, but were you enjoying it?
- 19:05Speaker 1: I really enjoyed how stressful it was, right, Okay, So
- 19:08Speaker 1: if you're one of those people that likes I mean,
- 19:09Speaker 1: not necessarily if you like horror, but if you like
- 19:11Speaker 1: stuff that you watch that's like kind of gives you
- 19:13Speaker 1: an unpleasant feeling, like, oh god, exact one percent. It
- 19:17Speaker 1: was that like one hundred percent of the time. Cool,
- 19:21Speaker 1: So let's send to the big show exactly. It's set
- 19:23Speaker 1: in like nineteen forties fifties New York.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Wasn't that long ago? Really? Yeah?
- 19:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought it was like in the eighties or no, no, no, no,
- 19:31Speaker 1: back then. And the world building is fantastic, Like it
- 19:34Speaker 1: looks really really good. It's obviously very high budget. This
- 19:37Speaker 1: guy's like gone all out really really great film. Walked
- 19:42Speaker 1: out of there just gobsmacked, and I didn't really know
- 19:44Speaker 1: what to talk about.
- 19:45Speaker 4: With the people I went with because it was so intense.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Right, there's a lot of processing to be done afterwards.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Hundred percent. There was just, like Peck, one moment to
- 19:52Speaker 4: talk about.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I couldn't because there was so many instances of just
- 19:54Speaker 1: crazy shit that went on. Yeah, right, I give it
- 19:57Speaker 1: a good four out of five, four out of five,
- 20:00Speaker 1: five buzzies for Marty Supreme.
- 20:01Speaker 3: That's nice, Marty Supreme, go check it out now still
- 20:04Speaker 3: in theaters. I will be reviewing is this thing on next?
- 20:08Speaker 3: Based on a true story about a UK comic John
- 20:11Speaker 3: Bishop before we get to that. Though some UK tunes
- 20:14Speaker 3: don't look back in anger, it's a wassist on HOLDUK.
- 20:17Speaker 2: The Hodarchy Big Show was Jas, Mike and Kezy Tune
- 20:20Speaker 2: in four on Radio.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Hold Ak Angela Harlem You Tubertus seven twenty eight on
- 20:25Speaker 3: the Hidarky Breakfast This Tuesday Morning with Keezy and Pugs.
- 20:28Speaker 3: If you're just joining us, you just heard about fifteen
- 20:31Speaker 3: minutes ago Pugs's review of Marty Supreme and You Timothy's
- 20:34Speaker 3: Challamye movie. He gave it four out of five.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Yes, I think my review kind of reflected the movie
- 20:40Speaker 1: in terms of just being all over the place.
- 20:42Speaker 3: And stressful, yeah and stressful.
- 20:44Speaker 2: No.
- 20:44Speaker 3: It was a great review, Pugs. I also went to
- 20:46Speaker 3: the movies last night with my wife. We went and
- 20:48Speaker 3: saw a movie based on the well loosely based on
- 20:51Speaker 3: the true story of a very very good comic from
- 20:54Speaker 3: the UK. His name is John Bishop. He's actually here
- 20:56Speaker 3: in New Zealand or he was sorry, he was just
- 20:58Speaker 3: here in New Zealand at the end of last year.
- 20:59Speaker 3: I believe, really good comic, really funny blokes. He does
- 21:03Speaker 3: the Rounds and all the UK panel TV shows as well,
- 21:05Speaker 3: so he probably recognized him if you watch those starring
- 21:08Speaker 3: Will Arnett. Will Arnett is hilarious, like Arrested Development, the
- 21:14Speaker 3: TV show that only had a couple of seasons and
- 21:16Speaker 3: then was canned way ahead of its time, so funny
- 21:20Speaker 3: in that and for that reason, I will just I'll
- 21:22Speaker 3: go watch Will anit and anything like. I think he's great.
- 21:24Speaker 3: It's got the iconic deep voices, the voice of Lego
- 21:27Speaker 3: Batman and BoJack Horseman and BoJack Horseman, which I love,
- 21:31Speaker 3: and he basically it's the true story of a guy
- 21:36Speaker 3: and his wife. They've got two ten year old boys twins,
- 21:40Speaker 3: and their marriage is just it's gone stale. It's not
- 21:43Speaker 3: working anymore. They're drifting apart. He moves out, moves into
- 21:46Speaker 3: an apartment. They're trying to just figure stuff out. They're
- 21:49Speaker 3: not fully divorcing, but they're splitting, you know, just to
- 21:52Speaker 3: see what happens after that. One night, he just goes
- 21:54Speaker 3: into a bar to have a drink. He's had some
- 21:57Speaker 3: hash brownie and he's feeling a bit silly. He goes
- 22:00Speaker 3: into a bar to he have a drink. It's a fifteen
- 22:01Speaker 3: dollars cover charge because it's a comedy night. He doesn't
- 22:04Speaker 3: want to pay the comedy charge, the fifteen dollars charge,
- 22:06Speaker 3: so he writes his name down on the list and
- 22:08Speaker 3: says he's one of the performers. Ah yep. So he
- 22:10Speaker 3: gets in there, has a drink. It's an open mic
- 22:12Speaker 3: night as well, so you can do that. Goes down,
- 22:15Speaker 3: gets on the stage. He's only got like three or
- 22:17Speaker 3: four minutes, and just sort of sees a few thoughts
- 22:19Speaker 3: about the fact that he's breaking up with his partner.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Blah blah blah blah blah. Ends up coming off stage,
- 22:24Speaker 3: goes into the bathroom and just like, wow, I feel
- 22:26Speaker 3: like really good, Like it's the best I've felt in
- 22:28Speaker 3: so long, kind of a bit like almost like therapy
- 22:30Speaker 3: on stage, getting these thoughts out into the open, starts
- 22:33Speaker 3: doing a bit more, a bit more long. Story is short,
- 22:35Speaker 3: you know. Does it help his marriage? Maybe? Does it
- 22:39Speaker 3: help his relationship with his kids? Who knows? But he
- 22:42Speaker 3: did end up becoming a very successful stand up comedian.
- 22:45Speaker 3: When I saw that it was the American version of
- 22:49Speaker 3: this UK comedian story directed by Bradley Cooper, I was like,
- 22:53Speaker 3: here we go. It's gonna be like an hour and
- 22:54Speaker 3: a half long. It's going to be said. At the
- 22:56Speaker 3: start he gets mean a mean like a great stand
- 22:59Speaker 3: ups at the very end of him dominating, gets back
- 23:02Speaker 3: with his wife. Classic American sort of story. Yes, very different.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Slow Burn is two hours long. It's a slow burn
- 23:11Speaker 3: that's not like you know. And Bradley Cooper's directing style.
- 23:14Speaker 3: I don't know if it's his first time or not.
- 23:15Speaker 3: He's trying some out there stuff.
- 23:18Speaker 4: He's done a couple. I think he did Star is Born,
- 23:21Speaker 4: the one.
- 23:22Speaker 3: That so he's got the pedigree. I had never seen
- 23:26Speaker 3: a film directed by him. I haven't seen that film,
- 23:28Speaker 3: but he hangs on people's faces a lot. There is
- 23:30Speaker 3: one scene involving him doing stand up without realizing that
- 23:34Speaker 3: his wife is in the audience by chance. And it
- 23:37Speaker 3: was very tense, very well executed. I tried to predict
- 23:40Speaker 3: what was going to happen, couldn't predict it, which was great,
- 23:43Speaker 3: And to be honest, my wife and I both really
- 23:45Speaker 3: really enjoyed it. It wasn't as I said, it wasn't
- 23:47Speaker 3: rolling gags the whole time, it wasn't cheesy romance the
- 23:51Speaker 3: whole time. Slow burn, very enjoyable. I give it about
- 23:54Speaker 3: a three point eight out of five. Would watch it again,
- 23:57Speaker 3: recommend it. It's hard for a movie like that to
- 24:00Speaker 3: a five out of five because it's pretty light subject matter.
- 24:03Speaker 3: It's a guy becoming a stand up.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's not a grand story, no, which I
- 24:08Speaker 1: think is hard to sell with blockbuster films and trailers
- 24:11Speaker 1: and stuff. Yes, but like I saw the trailer for
- 24:14Speaker 1: that last night before Marty Supreme. They showed what felt
- 24:18Speaker 1: like a lot of the movie in the trailer. Yeah,
- 24:20Speaker 1: but from what you were telling me, that's only like
- 24:22Speaker 1: just scratching the surface of and you can really predict
- 24:25Speaker 1: no exactly.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Which the only thing I'd say is it does end randomly.
- 24:29Speaker 3: I wasn't ready for it.
- 24:30Speaker 1: To end.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Yet I feel like they were about three quarters of
- 24:33Speaker 3: the way through the film and then it ended. Yeah,
- 24:35Speaker 3: it didn't tie itself in a nice happy bow, but
- 24:39Speaker 3: it was an ending. But yeah, I recommend it is
- 24:43Speaker 3: this thing. I'd go along and see it. It's in
- 24:45Speaker 3: theaters now. There was something that happened in the movie though,
- 24:48Speaker 3: which I want to discuss with you next, Pugs. Okay,
- 24:51Speaker 3: an immersion breaking person was cast in a certain role
- 24:55Speaker 3: and it ruined the illusion for me. Oh dear, Yeah. Yeah,
- 24:58Speaker 3: So if you've ever watched a movie and then all
- 25:00Speaker 3: of a sudden a famous singer or someone pops up
- 25:02Speaker 3: and it ruins the immersion text us three four eight three.
- 25:05Speaker 3: We'll rip into that next. Also keep those texts coming
- 25:08Speaker 3: if you'd like a double pass to go and see
- 25:10Speaker 3: twenty eight years later, The Bone Temple.
- 25:13Speaker 2: The Holdiching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 25:17Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio Hodikey.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Stereo MC's on the Hidarky break for show, Keisy and
- 25:22Speaker 3: Pugs with You is Tuesday morning. It is seven forty
- 25:25Speaker 3: four and we are still giving away that fantastic brand
- 25:28Speaker 3: new boat thanks to Finn Chaser Boat. It is a
- 25:31Speaker 3: finchase of five three five center console, comes with the
- 25:33Speaker 3: Mercury four strokes, sixty horse outboard and a voyage a
- 25:37Speaker 3: trailer to tow it on, as well a whole lot
- 25:38Speaker 3: of other good easy entire package with seventy five thousand
- 25:41Speaker 3: dollars pugs. If you want to get yourself in the drawer,
- 25:43Speaker 3: text the word boats three four eight three. All we
- 25:45Speaker 3: have to do is come up with a name for
- 25:47Speaker 3: the boat. And we've got a list of all the
- 25:49Speaker 3: names that have been sent through, haven't we.
- 25:51Speaker 1: We do our And I've actually got a new favorite
- 25:53Speaker 1: that I discovered on the weekend, right when I was
- 25:56Speaker 1: in here on Sunday.
- 25:57Speaker 4: And it's because it's family friendly.
- 26:00Speaker 1: It's it's cheeky, but it's not inappropriate keezy, which you
- 26:03Speaker 1: know I'm all about here at Hodaki right.
- 26:05Speaker 3: For example, someone sent through the bearded clam, you know,
- 26:09Speaker 3: which is probably not appropriate.
- 26:10Speaker 4: I don't get it.
- 26:11Speaker 3: I bet you don't. What was the one you're gonna say?
- 26:18Speaker 1: It's the naughty booie naughty boy.
- 26:22Speaker 4: Yeah, that's double whammy, whereas like it's not just like.
- 26:25Speaker 1: A one word pun yeah, and then just like another
- 26:29Speaker 1: regular word.
- 26:30Speaker 3: No. I agree with you. One boat parked around the
- 26:32Speaker 3: corner from my house is called the Greasy Gurnard. Absolutely
- 26:35Speaker 3: love it. In fact, if I open the fish and
- 26:36Speaker 3: chip store, that's endearing. I would name it the Greasy
- 26:39Speaker 3: very charming. So heaps of names coming through here. The Mowana, Lisa,
- 26:43Speaker 3: you know, I like that. It's that's clean as well.
- 26:45Speaker 3: A nice nod to the mowana, which of course means
- 26:48Speaker 3: the sea or the ocean. Bowie racer, bowie racer.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Yes, and just on that my naughty boy one that
- 26:55Speaker 1: there is a slightly more cheeky version of that called
- 26:58Speaker 1: dirty boys filth.
- 27:00Speaker 3: The oars. Ah, that's a classic one, you know what
- 27:03Speaker 3: I mean. That's old school. Yeah yeah yeah, filthy oars,
- 27:07Speaker 3: fishy fingers. These have all been sent through by listeners.
- 27:10Speaker 3: By the way, dream Maker.
- 27:13Speaker 4: I'm glad you clarified that the listeners are sending them
- 27:15Speaker 4: in just saying this.
- 27:16Speaker 3: These aren't my aquaholic sure thing with the short but
- 27:20Speaker 3: sho godzilla all in capitals.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Okay, this this passes me off.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Someone's someone's name that they've submitted to win the Finn
- 27:28Speaker 1: Chaser boat from Hodaki.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Yeah, as Hodaki Finn Chaser.
- 27:34Speaker 3: That's funny, No, it's not. If they could change it
- 27:36Speaker 3: to finn Chaser five three five center console with Mercury
- 27:39Speaker 3: Horse sixty horse power four stroke out board, that'd be
- 27:41Speaker 3: a great name for a boat so far, though, my
- 27:43Speaker 3: favorite boat, my favorite so far is Hoity in the Blowfish. Yes,
- 27:48Speaker 3: because you know it's a bit of a nod to
- 27:49Speaker 3: Hodaki and of course great band. If you would like
- 27:52Speaker 3: to win that boat, text the word boat to three
- 27:54Speaker 3: four eight three, follow the link, get the entry form
- 27:56Speaker 3: and we'll be giving that away soon. So gets stuck the.
- 28:00Speaker 2: K A big show was Jason, Mike and Kezy Tune
- 28:02Speaker 2: in four on Radio HODAK.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Today's just stay on hdcke you break for show. It
- 28:07Speaker 3: was almost eight am. You've got Keysy in Pugs on
- 28:09Speaker 3: here for you on Tuesday morning. We've got more coming
- 28:11Speaker 3: up after eight as well, Dowey, Pug Sound's kind of
- 28:14Speaker 3: a pug Stunt special hour up next.
- 28:16Speaker 1: CAZy, Every hour is of Pug Sounds Special. When you're
- 28:20Speaker 1: on the big show with Kezy and Pug Sound, is it?
- 28:23Speaker 3: No? Not really? Yeah.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Look, I've got a question to ask all the mechanics
- 28:27Speaker 1: out there. If you're a mechanic or if you know
- 28:29Speaker 1: and get them to tune into hard Ak you please,
- 28:30Speaker 1: I need some help read a waft that I've got
- 28:33Speaker 1: today directly after the show on my vehicle. Also, we're
- 28:37Speaker 1: going to have another edition of Pug Sound's Holiday Misadventures.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Nobody wants to hear about what we're right on your holiday,
- 28:42Speaker 1: so I'm telling you what went wrong on mine.
- 28:44Speaker 3: That's right. Yesterday you dropped your valve cover when you
- 28:47Speaker 3: tried to inflate your tires. You dropped it down a drain,
- 28:49Speaker 3: lifted the lid off the drain. It was really heavy.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Skin my hand, skinned your hand, It was on k
- 28:54Speaker 3: It was a debacle. It it was an absolute shambles.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I ended up getting the valve cap out and then
- 28:58Speaker 1: trying to put the great back in the storm drain,
- 29:00Speaker 1: dropped the vilve cap back in the water, ending gave
- 29:02Speaker 1: up and left.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Good stuff that's coming up after, right, So acture you
- 29:05Speaker 3: stick around.
- 29:09Speaker 2: The Hdiching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 29:12Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Good Morning New Zealand. It is Tuesday, the thirteenth of

- 29:30Speaker 3: be back on Monday. Mogi and Hoidi, Jay, myself and
- 29:34Speaker 3: Pugs will be reforming the Big Show for twenty twenty
- 29:37Speaker 3: six this coming Friday at Bruco Mount monganuey as a
- 29:41Speaker 3: warm up for the Black Clash, which is this Saturday.
- 29:43Speaker 3: So if you're in the area, if you go to
- 29:44Speaker 3: the Black Clash, come to Bruco Mount Mongannue Friday afternoon
- 29:48Speaker 3: four pm and then we're away laughing from that point
- 29:51Speaker 3: on for the rest of the year. You damn right, Keezy.
- 29:53Speaker 1: And let me just say, the Big Show this year
- 29:56Speaker 1: bigger and better than ever I think.
- 29:58Speaker 3: So yeah, hey, hello, coming up next. You've got a
- 30:03Speaker 3: bit of an issue with mechanics.
- 30:07Speaker 1: No issue with mechanics as a career choice or anything
- 30:10Speaker 1: like that. My issue is that I have a warrant
- 30:13Speaker 1: of fitness directly after the show today, So get out
- 30:17Speaker 1: of here at ten or whatever and then just get
- 30:19Speaker 1: straight in the car fart over to them my mechanic
- 30:21Speaker 1: that I usually go to. But I just wanted to
- 30:24Speaker 1: pose the question, and if you are a mechanic, or
- 30:27Speaker 1: if you know a mechanic, or if you've ever experienced
- 30:29Speaker 1: anything like this. Do mechanics give a shit if your
- 30:35Speaker 1: car is clean or not when they're checking your vehicle?
- 30:37Speaker 3: How doude is your car inside of it? Chris? I
- 30:43Speaker 3: bet it's an absolute sham bird chick Cres.
- 30:45Speaker 4: We can get into that next.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Don't start calling me that, James, Otherwise I will call
- 30:49Speaker 3: you names from your school days which you don't like.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Go on, I can't give me one. I'm not rhymes
- 30:56Speaker 3: the pugs Loup, I've been called I've been called jug
- 31:00Speaker 3: league before. Yeah, that's what you're asking. Doesn't feel good,
- 31:04Speaker 3: does it? It felt great? I don't care. What's the song?
- 31:08Speaker 3: Is this the Dandy Warhol? Oh, that's it, Danny Warholes.
- 31:10Speaker 2: That's the Hidarcky Briff is the Hierarchy Big Show week
- 31:14Speaker 2: days from four on Radio Hodarky Live on.
- 31:17Speaker 3: The Hidarcky Brick for show forty minutes past day this
- 31:19Speaker 3: Tuesday Morning with Keezy and Pugson.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Hey, Kezy, I've got a whaff after the show today, Mane.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I'm a little bit worried about it, just because I've
- 31:27Speaker 1: got an old car. It's a ninety seven Mezda Proceeds,
- 31:31Speaker 1: so it's a Suzuki Vitara, but some of those are
- 31:34Speaker 1: badged as mez de proceeds.
- 31:36Speaker 4: For some reason. That is so the Japanese inputs that's
- 31:39Speaker 4: a sick.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Isn't it crazy that that's old? Now? Thirty years? Well? Yeah,
- 31:44Speaker 3: that like that. In my head, I was like, that's
- 31:45Speaker 3: not old. It's something in the nineteen.
- 31:47Speaker 1: No, and it doesn't feel old while you drive it,
- 31:48Speaker 1: Like she knows, she's she's she's got a few k's
- 31:51Speaker 1: on Keezy hundred yeah, hundred, Yeah, but she's thirty odd.
- 31:56Speaker 3: No, not that far. Okay, we're not the year. We're
- 31:59Speaker 3: not the year. And I love the think.
- 32:00Speaker 4: It was my favorite car. It was my nana's car
- 32:01Speaker 4: growing up.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Anyway, beside the point, I've got a warrant of fitness
- 32:04Speaker 1: after this, I'm not too worried about the car. But
- 32:06Speaker 1: you know, given that it's old, I am inclined to
- 32:09Speaker 1: believe that I met a higher risk of something needing effects.
- 32:12Speaker 1: But the question that I wanted to pose was do
- 32:15Speaker 1: mechanics care as to whether or not your car is
- 32:18Speaker 1: clean or how clean?
- 32:19Speaker 3: Would they prefer it when they're chicking your car?
- 32:22Speaker 1: Because I just I know that because my car's older
- 32:26Speaker 1: and it's at a higher risk of something needing effects.
- 32:28Speaker 4: I'm like, maybe I should do everything in my power
- 32:30Speaker 4: to make it spick and span.
- 32:32Speaker 3: For the mechanic, Well, here's a good here's a good
- 32:34Speaker 3: thing for you here, just leave a box, a person
- 32:35Speaker 3: on your person, just set your pass your off with
- 32:37Speaker 3: a clean sheet. So that's someone who's obviously running a
- 32:39Speaker 3: dodgy mechanics situation. But yeah, your car is you know,
- 32:43Speaker 3: it's higher in ks. It is almost eighty years old.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Now there is a chance that it will needs but
- 32:48Speaker 3: usually not major stuff. Now it might just be like
- 32:50Speaker 3: brake pads or maybe a new CV boot. How are
- 32:53Speaker 3: you see V boots? Look?
- 32:55Speaker 1: Man, if I knew what a CV boot was, but
- 32:58Speaker 1: you know, so, I'm you know, I wouldn't need to
- 33:01Speaker 1: get the waft done.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Hopefully it'll fly through for you. There, pugs, good a
- 33:04Speaker 3: Jack here. This is all on three four eight three.
- 33:06Speaker 3: By the way, feel free to text through your opinions.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Jack here, heavy diesel mechanic. If a truck is ditty,
- 33:11Speaker 3: I'll do everything in my power to make it dirty.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Sometimes I'll intentionally leave grease under the steering wheel, depends
- 33:17Speaker 3: how bad it is. I work on farm trucks. We
- 33:19Speaker 3: still fix them, so you'll be right. Well, this is
- 33:21Speaker 3: the thing.
- 33:21Speaker 1: I did take it to the self car wash yep
- 33:25Speaker 1: the other day, so I've given it one of those,
- 33:27Speaker 1: and then I also ran the vacuum through it. But this, Pugs,
- 33:30Speaker 1: when you leave things for a certain amount of time,
- 33:32Speaker 1: there's a bit of sand there from a beach day.
- 33:34Speaker 3: Pugs. Hello, I said I was gonna go wheeze. Yeah.
- 33:37Speaker 3: I went down and looked at your car in the
- 33:39Speaker 3: car park. It's not even dirty. What did you go down?
- 33:44Speaker 3: Why do you have a boogie board at the book
- 33:46Speaker 3: for boogey boarding? You went boogie board?
- 33:49Speaker 4: Keep a beach kit in the back at all times.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Tennis rackets. Tennis rackets are frisbee steady the ship hat.
- 33:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah, but that's what do you like to rip
- 33:57Speaker 3: the accaway at the beach man? Because I'm captain of
- 33:59Speaker 3: that down there, brother, You see, I sick that thing up.
- 34:02Speaker 3: I was so gutted because I ran, I still need
- 34:04Speaker 3: to go wheeze, but that's just going to be filthy. Yeah,
- 34:06Speaker 3: And I was like ready to see like food packages
- 34:08Speaker 3: and stuff your car as immaculate.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I'm yeah, it's just saying in like the little bits
- 34:13Speaker 1: in the center console bits and pieces.
- 34:15Speaker 4: It's completely you know, I think I just it was
- 34:17Speaker 4: worth asking the question.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Yeah, no, that's fair enough. And if people are fixing,
- 34:21Speaker 3: you know, farm trucks and still giving them wafts, I
- 34:23Speaker 3: think you'd be totally fine man, although Adam says it
- 34:26Speaker 3: definitely helps better area for them to work and also
- 34:28Speaker 3: shows you take pride in your vehicle. Just pray they
- 34:31Speaker 3: don't put a black light through yours. How funny is this?
- 34:37Speaker 3: What's that? Man? This next song is called shine a
- 34:40Speaker 3: Little Light, Shine the Black Keys, Shine.
- 34:43Speaker 1: A little black light through the pigs te the Master Truck.
- 34:48Speaker 3: He thanks for those techs on three for three.
- 34:49Speaker 4: By the way, they're all on the Dwarf of Vouchers.
- 34:52Speaker 2: The Hurdiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio
- 34:56Speaker 2: Darky a CDC.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Are you ready for the dak breaking Show with Key
- 35:00Speaker 3: and pugsun It is not you Pugs the audience eight
- 35:03Speaker 3: twenty nine on a Tuesday morning and Pugs. This weekend,
- 35:06Speaker 3: a fantastic event is happening in Kumu, West Auckland. It
- 35:09Speaker 3: is the Classic Car and hot Rod Festival. It's been
- 35:11Speaker 3: around for a bloody long time. I've gone to it
- 35:14Speaker 3: a crapload. I grew up there pretty much.
- 35:16Speaker 1: I can see why you're having this chat now and
- 35:18Speaker 1: why it's the top of your mind, given we were
- 35:20Speaker 1: just talking about my hot rod.
- 35:22Speaker 4: You're hot fifteen minutes ago.
- 35:23Speaker 3: That's right, your Suzuki Vitara badged as a Mazda. It
- 35:28Speaker 3: got me fizzed up. And you know, if I could
- 35:30Speaker 3: go along to the Kumu Classic Car and hot Rod
- 35:31Speaker 3: Festival and see more of those, I'd be stoked. It
- 35:34Speaker 3: is this Friday, SAT Day and Sunday. Tickets and more
- 35:37Speaker 3: details at Kumu hot Rod Festival dot co dot nz.
- 35:40Speaker 3: If you're just vaguely interested in cars, or you've got
- 35:43Speaker 3: kids you want to get them out of the house,
- 35:44Speaker 3: go for a big walk because it's a huge event.
- 35:47Speaker 3: You can take them there. There's monster trucks, there's cool
- 35:49Speaker 3: old cars, motorbikes, live music, all sorts of really really
- 35:53Speaker 3: fun things to do. I am annoyed because it's the
- 35:56Speaker 3: same weekend as the Black Clash. We are in totaling it. Yes,
- 35:59Speaker 3: and I haven't gone to the Kumu Classic Current hot
- 36:02Speaker 3: Rod Festival for years because I'm too busy getting my
- 36:05Speaker 3: nips out in a hot tub at the Black Clash.
- 36:08Speaker 3: This year, the same thing's going to happen. I'm not
- 36:09Speaker 3: in the hot tub, but I will miss the event again,
- 36:11Speaker 3: and I really hang it out for it.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Now, you're obviously a car enthusiast. You've got your little
- 36:17Speaker 1: truckie in the garage at home at the moment. Are
- 36:19Speaker 1: you inclined, like say you were going, would you put
- 36:22Speaker 1: it on display there? No?
- 36:24Speaker 3: So my family is very much like we're massive into
- 36:26Speaker 3: old cars, especially American cars, and I grew up going
- 36:30Speaker 3: a lot, not so much the show car side of
- 36:32Speaker 3: it for my family. If it was anything, my dad
- 36:34Speaker 3: would be there with an old truck filled with it.
- 36:37Speaker 3: My dad like at our house in Total where I
- 36:40Speaker 3: grew up, my dad has a workshop. At the back
- 36:42Speaker 3: of the workshop is so many old parts for American
- 36:46Speaker 3: cars in the fifties, sixties and seventies, and he would
- 36:49Speaker 3: have put them all on the back of his truck.
- 36:50Speaker 3: You'd take them down there. He'd get a bit of
- 36:51Speaker 3: white chalk and he'd ride on this. He's a door
- 36:54Speaker 3: for a sixty four and parlor. He'd put four hundred
- 36:57Speaker 3: bucks or something on the side of it and put
- 36:58Speaker 3: that up on the stand and that very much how
- 37:00Speaker 3: my family operates. We're not gonna show car. We aren't
- 37:03Speaker 3: show car people. No, we're like old original stuff. But
- 37:06Speaker 3: I would certainly drive my sixty seven Chevy truck there,
- 37:09Speaker 3: park it in the car park, just knowing.
- 37:11Speaker 1: You know that, Well, big part of the joy for
- 37:13Speaker 1: the two of you was searching for all the parts
- 37:15Speaker 1: to restore like your truck.
- 37:17Speaker 3: That's right.
- 37:17Speaker 1: So for him to have those parts and be able
- 37:19Speaker 1: to pass those under other people, I imagine you'd find
- 37:21Speaker 1: it very fulfilling.
- 37:22Speaker 3: That's right. And people actually And the other thing too,
- 37:24Speaker 3: which is interesting parks, is if you are doing up
- 37:26Speaker 3: like an old American car or that. I mean, this
- 37:28Speaker 3: is my area of knowledge. I'm sure it's the same
- 37:30Speaker 3: for a lot of different mind types of vehicles. Yeah,
- 37:33Speaker 3: and yours of course, like whether you do a Japanese vehicle,
- 37:35Speaker 3: euro whatever it might be. If you can get the
- 37:38Speaker 3: original parts, they fit a lot better than newer reproduction parts.
- 37:44Speaker 3: So if you've got in my dad's one of these guys,
- 37:45Speaker 3: if you've got an old boy who's got a stash
- 37:47Speaker 3: of old stuff that is original from the sixties and seventies,
- 37:51Speaker 3: you go to a swap meant you find a bit
- 37:53Speaker 3: you want, maybe it's like a bumper, maybe there's a
- 37:55Speaker 3: door or a tailgate for a truck or something like that.
- 37:57Speaker 3: If you can get the original stuff that just like
- 38:00Speaker 3: it makes restoring an old car a lot easier. What
- 38:04Speaker 3: I'm getting at here is here to Coomau Hotrodfestival dot
- 38:07Speaker 3: co dot ed z. Head along to this thing. If
- 38:09Speaker 3: you've never been in your love cars, it'll blow your frickin' mind.
- 38:13Speaker 3: I'm super upset that I'm not going, and otherwise I
- 38:16Speaker 3: would be there. It's bloody awesome.
- 38:19Speaker 2: The Hidaching Big Show with JS, Mike and Kezy tune
- 38:22Speaker 2: in week days at four on.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Radio Hodach Glacibo on the Hidaky Breakfast Show eight forty
- 38:27Speaker 3: four this Tuesday Morning with Keezy and Pugsn. Earlier in
- 38:31Speaker 3: the show, we're discussing the fact that last night we
- 38:33Speaker 3: both went into the movie theater, the theater the Pictures
- 38:37Speaker 3: and we each saw a different movie. I saw it
- 38:40Speaker 3: based on a true story sort of comedy flick ish
- 38:43Speaker 3: thing starring Will Arnette about the life of UK stand
- 38:46Speaker 3: up comic John Bishop. It was called is This Thing on?
- 38:49Speaker 3: What was the name of Yourwan Pokst.
- 38:51Speaker 1: I went and saw Marty Sopreme, The Timothy Schallamey One
- 38:54Speaker 1: directed by Josh Safty.
- 38:56Speaker 3: One thing that happened in is This Thing On which
- 38:58Speaker 3: as I said, was a good movie three point out
- 39:00Speaker 3: out of five. Recommend you go along watching on a
- 39:02Speaker 3: date night or something based on a true story. But
- 39:05Speaker 3: one thing that does happen occasionally in movies and TV
- 39:08Speaker 3: shows and ruins it for me, pugs is an immersion
- 39:11Speaker 3: breaking person is cast in a certain role. Now, you
- 39:16Speaker 3: mentioned in Marty Supreme that his best friend in the
- 39:19Speaker 3: movie is Tyler the Creator who's a musician.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Tyler the Creator a musician known for his rap.
- 39:25Speaker 3: He hasn't done any other film roles.
- 39:28Speaker 1: He used to do like a sketch comedy show back
- 39:30Speaker 1: in like that It's funny, got early Internet Asian.
- 39:32Speaker 4: He is known for being a very humorous guy.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Now, I would say that ascended cameo level because he
- 39:40Speaker 1: was involved in the film enough where his character developed.
- 39:44Speaker 1: You saw who he was right and he had actual
- 39:48Speaker 1: and actual effect on the film's plot. He was helping
- 39:51Speaker 1: Marty Sopreme, Marty Mauser to get the next hustle or
- 39:55Speaker 1: whatever in the movie.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Was he believable and he was believable. Okay, so that's good, right. So,
- 40:00Speaker 3: and is this thing on Peyton Manning, who is a
- 40:04Speaker 3: quarterback in the NFL. Yes, appears randomly. So the husband
- 40:10Speaker 3: and wife they're going through a split up. She goes
- 40:12Speaker 3: on a date with a guy who plays a former
- 40:15Speaker 3: former player turned coach, which is what Peyton Manning is
- 40:18Speaker 3: in the NFL. And he talks about how coaching and
- 40:21Speaker 3: just being involved with the game as it evolves still
- 40:24Speaker 3: gives him that same feelings when he was a player.
- 40:26Speaker 3: It was like they were doing a bit a gag
- 40:29Speaker 3: about the fact that he's no longer playing, and I
- 40:32Speaker 3: was like, God, this is immersion breaking. I was like
- 40:34Speaker 3: into this whole film about a guy becoming a stand
- 40:37Speaker 3: up comedian and then all of a sudden, there's just
- 40:39Speaker 3: an NFL quarter a really famous one.
- 40:43Speaker 4: Is how does that serve the movie?
- 40:45Speaker 3: I don't know. That's my question too. I will give
- 40:49Speaker 3: him credit very believable in the role, like the way
- 40:51Speaker 3: he was talking because he was talking about himself.
- 40:53Speaker 4: He was literally just being himself, which is what you.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Should do with athletes and not actors. You go. And
- 40:57Speaker 3: so they cast him at a role where he could
- 40:58Speaker 3: pretty much just talk about his own career and he
- 41:00Speaker 3: was on a date with this woman and he was
- 41:02Speaker 3: recently split up, and he was just talking about becoming
- 41:04Speaker 3: a coach.
- 41:05Speaker 1: But then, at least in Marty Supreme, Tyler the creator
- 41:09Speaker 1: played a character like an actual charactor that he was
- 41:12Speaker 1: one hundred percent.
- 41:13Speaker 4: He was acting as somebody completely different.
- 41:15Speaker 3: So there was this moment in the movie theater where
- 41:18Speaker 3: I got my phone out googled Peyton Manning and then
- 41:20Speaker 3: showed my wife a picture and was just like, this
- 41:22Speaker 3: is who that guy is. And she's like, oh, that's weird.
- 41:24Speaker 3: She doesn't talk about that, by the way, if she's listening, Ah,
- 41:27Speaker 3: that's weird.
- 41:28Speaker 1: CAZy.
- 41:29Speaker 3: That's the one, the worst one I've ever seen of this.
- 41:34Speaker 3: The first time I saw this was in Pirates of
- 41:38Speaker 3: the Caribbean three. Yes, Keith Richard plays the pirate king
- 41:44Speaker 3: or something. Yes, Now that's just a small role. And
- 41:47Speaker 3: granted Keith Richards looked kind of like Jack Sparrow's.
- 41:50Speaker 4: Dad, he also looked exactly like an old pirate and.
- 41:55Speaker 3: So that casting I remember being like Keith Richards and
- 41:58Speaker 3: then being like, you know what. Stuff. But it's kind
- 42:00Speaker 3: of a it's kind of a fun action movie and
- 42:03Speaker 3: he kind of looks like a pirate. He ends up
- 42:05Speaker 3: being I think the thing there is that he's Jack
- 42:07Speaker 3: Sparrow's dead, and I'm like, yeah, you know what, he
- 42:10Speaker 3: does look like an older version of Jack Sparrow. Sweet.
- 42:12Speaker 3: The worst one I've ever seen was in and this
- 42:15Speaker 3: was the real sign of the downfall of the quality
- 42:18Speaker 3: of Game of Thrones. Ed Sheeran in Game of Thrones. Yeah,
- 42:24Speaker 3: that pested me off and I like it. Sharon, like,
- 42:26Speaker 3: I don't listen to his musical, but I think he's
- 42:28Speaker 3: a good musician.
- 42:29Speaker 1: You don't think he looks kind of like a little
- 42:31Speaker 1: peasant boy totally, but he was.
- 42:33Speaker 4: He was stone age, he was a lanister.
- 42:36Speaker 3: He was part of the Lanister Army, and they were
- 42:38Speaker 3: sitting around a campfire and he was singing a little
- 42:40Speaker 3: ditty and I was like, boom, immersion breaking. I don't
- 42:44Speaker 3: recognize any of the other actors, and Game of Thrones
- 42:46Speaker 3: it's so high quality. Other than Sean Bean Like, it's
- 42:49Speaker 3: so high quality, I don't know recognize any of the actors.
- 42:51Speaker 3: It was very believable, and then boom, id Sharon's there
- 42:54Speaker 3: and ruining it. It's just my thoughts anyway. Three four
- 42:57Speaker 3: eight three. If you've got any immersion breaking sort of
- 43:00Speaker 3: people that were cast in films that ruined it for you,
- 43:03Speaker 3: let us know. We've got fifty dollar rebig avouchers to
- 43:05Speaker 3: give away. In the meantime, Should we go to a chune,
- 43:08Speaker 3: Pugs or some ads? What do you reckon? You choose probably.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Due for an ad keys the Hidiarchy Big Show weekdays
- 43:14Speaker 2: from four on Radio Hdarchy.
- 43:16Speaker 3: It would have been harper for you. Tuesday morning, it
- 43:18Speaker 3: is the Hidarchy break for show with Kezy and Pugs,
- 43:20Speaker 3: and it's time for another episode of Pugs's holiday misadventures.
- 43:28Speaker 1: That stings changed from yesterday. I like the better yesterday.
- 43:32Speaker 3: That was because you threw to it. Yeah, what's your
- 43:35Speaker 3: latest episode there, pugsun Right?
- 43:37Speaker 1: So yesterday basically Mike Monogue taught me that nobody wants
- 43:40Speaker 1: to hear about what went well in your holiday.
- 43:41Speaker 4: So this is what went wrong for me.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Yesterday I discussed dropping a valve cap off my tire
- 43:46Speaker 1: into a storm drain, scanning my hand, trying to get
- 43:50Speaker 1: the storm drained great out. And today this is maybe
- 43:56Speaker 1: a day later, right, so I'd gone home to one
- 43:59Speaker 1: of tonight did the ex on five hundred where I
- 44:01Speaker 1: drive from Auckland to Wellington and I responsible but record time,
- 44:06Speaker 1: and I thought, you know what, I'm going to get
- 44:07Speaker 1: into this time around, this summer around. I'm going to
- 44:10Speaker 1: get into working out during my holiday so that when
- 44:12Speaker 1: I come back from holiday, I'm not going to be
- 44:14Speaker 1: so shagged.
- 44:16Speaker 3: Yeah right, you know it works for me. I always
- 44:18Speaker 3: just give up. I always just say, you know what,
- 44:19Speaker 3: the next three weeks is a write off. See, I
- 44:23Speaker 3: should have taken that approach.
- 44:25Speaker 1: I went to the gym where I'm from in Lower
- 44:27Speaker 1: Heart Right and Wellington, and it was a pretty nice,
- 44:30Speaker 1: pretty pristine gym there. I just sort of had a
- 44:32Speaker 1: bit of spare time before the Christmas Eve festivities with
- 44:35Speaker 1: my fino later on at the end of the day.
- 44:37Speaker 3: So I go to the.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Gym and walk in familiarizing myself with the place. You know,
- 44:43Speaker 1: you go to a new gym, you sort of liken't
- 44:44Speaker 1: figure out. On Jesus, these guys are going to be
- 44:46Speaker 1: perceiving me working out and get my weights out and
- 44:49Speaker 1: I start doing workout, start doing a little shoulder press there,
- 44:52Speaker 1: cheezy right, you know, it's like a vertical press. Immediately
- 44:56Speaker 1: my hand that I dropped into the storm grating, caut
- 45:00Speaker 1: and skinned starts bleeding.
- 45:02Speaker 3: Oh was it like the back of your handle and
- 45:04Speaker 3: the palms? It was in the palm of my head.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Wow, okay, so the weight is on my hand here, yeah,
- 45:09Speaker 1: bleeding hand, immediately, bleeding hand.
- 45:12Speaker 4: It was disgusting.
- 45:13Speaker 3: It wasn't late. It's discussing. Okay. It wasn't a Tarantino no,
- 45:15Speaker 3: I know, but like it's where everyone puts their hands.
- 45:17Speaker 3: And now you're hate, well, no to hang on your
- 45:20Speaker 3: dirty hand, which had already been cut by putting it
- 45:22Speaker 3: into a.
- 45:22Speaker 4: Drain on k road, bloody health and safety.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Straight away filled with like a bowler and who knows
- 45:28Speaker 3: what a bowler? And now you're putting it on the
- 45:30Speaker 3: gym weight, which is also covered in bacteria. Right, how
- 45:33Speaker 3: are you still here with us?
- 45:34Speaker 1: Right? Well, I've definitely got sipsis of some kind. So
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'm bleeding out of the hand. So I immediately that
- 45:39Speaker 1: puts a hold on the workout, and I'm like, okay,
- 45:42Speaker 1: my goodness sake.
- 45:42Speaker 4: So then I was your right hand. It was my
- 45:44Speaker 4: right hand.
- 45:45Speaker 3: Oh you used that a lot? What's that? Yeah?
- 45:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah for writing content for the big show.
- 45:53Speaker 1: And then I put the weights down and then so
- 45:55Speaker 1: I go and find a first aid kit. Managed to
- 45:57Speaker 1: miss my way through opening the first t kit. Get
- 45:59Speaker 1: a plaster out there, perfect, bang that on my hand,
- 46:01Speaker 1: and I'm like, you know what, maybe I'm a bit
- 46:03Speaker 1: tired because I obviously didn't think about doing that before.
- 46:05Speaker 1: I need an energy drink. They've got those like clean
- 46:07Speaker 1: gym energy drinks like MUSACHEI thank you. That's sort of
- 46:11Speaker 1: not a plug, but exactly that, okay, And so I
- 46:13Speaker 1: go to the vening machine. They've got a veny machine there.
- 46:15Speaker 3: Get out. So you've got to the gym. I go
- 46:18Speaker 3: to the gym. You've opened your hand.
- 46:21Speaker 1: I need to start the workout. At some point, you've
- 46:23Speaker 1: bleed everywhere. You've opened the plaster. Now you're hitting the
- 46:25Speaker 1: vending machine. I've got a plaster from hand, and I'm like, okay,
- 46:28Speaker 1: well just give it. Give it a minute, mate, just
- 46:30Speaker 1: give your hand a minute to stop blending. So I
- 46:32Speaker 1: get an energy drink out. Now obviously it comes out
- 46:35Speaker 1: of the vending machine and I grab it, and so
- 46:37Speaker 1: what do I immediately do?
- 46:38Speaker 3: I open it?
- 46:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's obviously dropped from the top shelf of
- 46:41Speaker 1: the vining machine, so it explodes.
- 46:42Speaker 3: All over you so you're covered in blood and fizzn I.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Get a copy of Not only that, it's also all
- 46:48Speaker 1: over the all over the floor as well and the
- 46:52Speaker 1: new gym. So I'm then trying to clean up everything
- 46:55Speaker 1: there and what does that do? Opens the wound on
- 46:57Speaker 1: your hand, Yeah, and ruins the plaster. So he's blood
- 47:00Speaker 1: on the floor and fizz. Yes, damn man, I was
- 47:03Speaker 1: gonna say, you're looking good man, what's your secret?
- 47:10Speaker 2: The hold King Big Show with Mike and Kezy tune
- 47:13Speaker 2: in week days and four on Radio Hodachy.
- 47:16Speaker 3: Clito on Thehidicky Breakfast Show with Kezy and Pugs Son.
- 47:19Speaker 3: It's after nine now, which means it is officially no
- 47:21Speaker 3: ads till Smoko thanks to Max Raft. Thanks to Max Raft,
- 47:24Speaker 3: you won't hear any ads for the next hour or so,
- 47:26Speaker 3: just bloody good tunes and a couple of yards from
- 47:28Speaker 3: myself and Pugs before nine, Pugs, I mentioned a bit
- 47:31Speaker 3: of a bugbear I have. I was at the movies
- 47:33Speaker 3: last night. I watched a movie called This Is This
- 47:35Speaker 3: Thing On and it's a great comedy movie loosely based
- 47:39Speaker 3: on the true story of John Bishop, a UK comedian. However,
- 47:42Speaker 3: halfway through it, Peyton Manning showed up as one of
- 47:44Speaker 3: the characters. You don't know who Peyton Manning is. He
- 47:47Speaker 3: is a former NFL quarterback who is now a coach.
- 47:49Speaker 3: And who did he play in the movie. He played
- 47:52Speaker 3: a former athlete now coach. He played himself, yes, but
- 47:56Speaker 3: instead of talking about football, I think he was talking
- 47:58Speaker 3: about volleyball.
- 48:00Speaker 1: The thing that grinds me about it is you're taking
- 48:03Speaker 1: any chance for somebody to do a great performance out
- 48:06Speaker 1: of it.
- 48:06Speaker 4: If it's someone that is just like, that's yeah, that's
- 48:09Speaker 4: just them.
- 48:10Speaker 3: They're facing a name and full credit to Peyton Manning.
- 48:13Speaker 3: When I saw him, I just totally shattered the whole illusion.
- 48:16Speaker 3: I was like, why is Peyton Manning in this? Yeah,
- 48:18Speaker 3: it's like just randomly saying I don't know, you're watching
- 48:20Speaker 3: a freaking New Zealand based on a true story, and
- 48:22Speaker 3: then like Christian Color pops up playing or just or
- 48:25Speaker 3: something like that just ruined it for me a wee bit.
- 48:30Speaker 3: And I asked, in full credit, he did a good job.
- 48:32Speaker 3: It was believable. After I was over the initial shock,
- 48:35Speaker 3: he did a good job. But I asked on three
- 48:37Speaker 3: for three, are there any immersion breaking moments and TV
- 48:40Speaker 3: shows or movies that kind of ruined it for you,
- 48:42Speaker 3: Like for example, when Id Sheeran was in Game of Thrones,
- 48:44Speaker 3: which kind of ruined it for me. Happy Gilmore too,
- 48:47Speaker 3: thought was cringe. I loved the first movie.
- 48:50Speaker 4: Now I'll roll through some of the cameos in that movie.
- 48:54Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's just constant chem So if you don't.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Want spoilers for cameos and Happy Gimbor to shut the
- 48:58Speaker 1: front door, here we go, M and M post Malone, Kid, Cuddy,
- 49:01Speaker 1: Steve Bashimi. I mean they're all actors, John Daily Golf, Yeah, yeah,
- 49:08Speaker 1: well another golfer, Bead Bunny, one of the biggest Latin
- 49:11Speaker 1: American pop stars, John Lovett's Alex Earl, who's like bag
- 49:16Speaker 1: on social media, Comedians, Bobby Lee, Ben Stilla.
- 49:19Speaker 3: So that's the thing, right, The fact that all those people,
- 49:21Speaker 3: I mean Ben still was in the first two. But
- 49:23Speaker 3: the fact that there's even any of those musicians in there,
- 49:25Speaker 3: like one is enough to break the immersion. Someone here,
- 49:29Speaker 3: Jimmy from he said Tulsa King on tv Z Plus,
- 49:33Speaker 3: which is played by Stallone right, Jelly Roll randomly shows
- 49:37Speaker 3: up in an episode, so they're like, and see that
- 49:39Speaker 3: is kind of immersion breaking too.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Yes, and not only that they start singing in a
- 49:43Speaker 1: random recording booth and Jemmy rolls a singer.
- 49:46Speaker 3: Yes see, that's like they've just crowbas you each here, Andy, Yes,
- 49:50Speaker 3: and game because he's singing around the campfire and Game
- 49:52Speaker 3: of Thrones. Someone here says they hate it when they
- 49:55Speaker 3: see a real news anchor in a movie. I don't
- 49:57Speaker 3: mind that. I'm okay with that. For example, John Campbell
- 50:01Speaker 3: and Hunt for the Wilder People, great movie. I don't
- 50:03Speaker 3: mind it because John Campbell isn't and he'd be very
- 50:05Speaker 3: good at playing yes and news anchor, and it for me,
- 50:09Speaker 3: it almost adds to the immersion. I agree, because when
- 50:12Speaker 3: I get news it is from a New Zealand news reader.
- 50:14Speaker 3: I don't know, but someone I didn't realize this, But
- 50:17Speaker 3: the Wild Thornberry's was there a movie about that? There
- 50:20Speaker 3: must have been Flee from the Chili Peppers? Was it
- 50:23Speaker 3: ith a bit a bit? He played Donnie, who's like
- 50:27Speaker 3: the little wild kid who's just like makes all the
- 50:30Speaker 3: weird noises and stuff. Maybe it was him, but Flee
- 50:33Speaker 3: the bass guitarist.
- 50:34Speaker 4: From the Johnny Thornberry you called it in one.
- 50:36Speaker 3: I got it. But keep those things coming on three
- 50:39Speaker 3: four eight three and we'll get back into the tunes.
- 50:42Speaker 3: No Aded's Still Smoko thanks to Max Ruff. What do
- 50:44Speaker 3: we go here? Pugs Gorilla's Baby, Let's go.
- 50:47Speaker 2: The Huriarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Dark.
- 50:51Speaker 3: There's a brand new song on the Hidarcky Breakfast No
- 50:53Speaker 3: AD's Still Smoko thanks to Max Rauff. That song there
- 50:56Speaker 3: by a group called Dropper Punk San called Anchor.
- 50:59Speaker 1: That's right, Dropper, a pornicky based duo. So from the
- 51:03Speaker 1: Capitol there and Wellington, Yes that's Wellington, and they used
- 51:08Speaker 1: to be in a teenage ban back in the day
- 51:10Speaker 1: and they really sadly lost one of their band mates,
- 51:13Speaker 1: so now it's just those two.
- 51:15Speaker 4: And this album that this song is from is.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Dealing with a lot of feelings of hopelessness and grieving
- 51:21Speaker 1: and stuff like that. But it's still a great tune
- 51:24Speaker 1: and you can get around that. You can listen again
- 51:26Speaker 1: and read more about it at the locals only tab.
- 51:28Speaker 4: But Hodaki dot co dot in zen.
- 51:30Speaker 3: That's right, head along to Hidaki dot coto in zid
- 51:32Speaker 3: heaps of information on kii artists and groups always bloody
- 51:35Speaker 3: good to see. Now Pugs we went I believe it
- 51:39Speaker 3: was the fifth of jen or the very start of
- 51:42Speaker 3: the women's tournament, the ASP Classic last Monday. Last Monday,
- 51:46Speaker 3: just gone. We were very lucky. There was myself, you
- 51:48Speaker 3: and three other people from the office. Had a great evening.
- 51:51Speaker 3: I'm not a huge tennis person. I love playing tennis.
- 51:54Speaker 3: I've covered a lot of tennis in my prior years
- 51:56Speaker 3: at Sky Sport, but I'm not a person who goes
- 51:58Speaker 3: along and watches it live. It was the first time
- 52:01Speaker 3: I had done that. Thoroughly enjoyed it. And when there's
- 52:05Speaker 3: a good rally, which is probably once every sort of
- 52:08Speaker 3: fifteen you know rallies, there was a really good rally,
- 52:11Speaker 3: the crowd gets into it. It is enthralling viewing.
- 52:14Speaker 1: It's amazing how quickly you become attached to the person
- 52:19Speaker 1: you are rooting for that watching this game. Like I
- 52:22Speaker 1: knew nothing about the competitors. I obviously like I've watched
- 52:26Speaker 1: it a little bit at tennis in my time, never
- 52:28Speaker 1: been to like a live game just you know, in
- 52:30Speaker 1: the flesh, and I immediately was enthralled in the dynamic
- 52:35Speaker 1: between these two players. You were explaining to me some
- 52:37Speaker 1: of the like competition levels they were at in things. Yeah,
- 52:41Speaker 1: and it's a At first glance, it's like, oh, this
- 52:44Speaker 1: is quite hoity twitty, you know the tennis. Yes, you know,
- 52:47Speaker 1: it's very fancy there. We've got nice hats and stuff.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Immediately you're like sucked into this rivalry between these two people.
- 52:54Speaker 3: Yes, it was epic. It also happed that you were
- 52:55Speaker 3: sucking in plenty of beverages. Two pugs sucking in the
- 52:58Speaker 3: responsible peroni. True, were out of control, now very responsible.
- 53:02Speaker 3: The good news is the men's competition is currently on.
- 53:05Speaker 3: We had thoroughly excellent time and we've actually got a
- 53:08Speaker 3: winner who's going to be having an excellent time as well.
- 53:10Speaker 3: I believe we've got Charles on the line, Charles sweety
- 53:14Speaker 3: your mayor bastard. How's life good? Thanks Chris, Yeah, I'm
- 53:17Speaker 3: really good, Thanks Charles. We've also got pugs here as well. Mate, Charles, Hey, yeah,
- 53:22Speaker 3: you are a good basket.
- 53:24Speaker 4: Cheers, fellas.
- 53:25Speaker 3: The reason we tried to call you mate is because
- 53:27Speaker 3: you and a mate are heating along to go see
- 53:28Speaker 3: some tennis man at the ASP Classic. When's that? When's that?
- 53:33Speaker 1: So?
- 53:33Speaker 3: Now? Man, get down there? Brother?
- 53:36Speaker 2: When when's the when's the when's the date?
- 53:39Speaker 3: Friday?
- 53:40Speaker 4: Mate?
- 53:41Speaker 1: It's the men semi final and that's at the man
- 53:44Speaker 1: Uuka Doctor Stadium.
- 53:45Speaker 3: Is it the stadium?
- 53:46Speaker 4: Yeah, Marnuka Doctor Stadium.
- 53:48Speaker 2: Thanks, Pugs.
- 53:49Speaker 3: Are you going to come with me and miss the
- 53:51Speaker 3: live trip down? And yeah?
- 53:53Speaker 1: I think I'll just flagged that whole thing able to
- 53:56Speaker 1: the teck and everything.
- 53:57Speaker 3: We'll find Charles, We'll find someone who can pugs the cars.
- 54:00Speaker 3: I mean, you carry on a lot about it, but
- 54:02Speaker 3: that's pretty easy to do.
- 54:03Speaker 4: Yeah, it's fair. I'm just tagging.
- 54:04Speaker 3: But Charles, good news is mate, you're going along to
- 54:06Speaker 3: the means see me, it's gonna be blood ripper bro.
- 54:08Speaker 3: So you hold the lineer, we'll grab your details, all right. Thanks.
- 54:10Speaker 3: I'm jealous, Pugs. I want to go back to the tennis.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, I would one hundred percent watch it again.
- 54:15Speaker 1: And you know what, it's got me in the mood
- 54:17Speaker 1: to play more tennis. You know how I keep those
- 54:19Speaker 1: rackets in my car? Yes, one hundred percent going to
- 54:21Speaker 1: take them to the local court. Really yeah, really, yes,
- 54:25Speaker 1: Kezy really absolutely well?
- 54:28Speaker 4: Yeah, because I smoked my partner and it every single time.
- 54:31Speaker 3: Yeah. Nice, But it's so cool. The ASB Classic. It's
- 54:33Speaker 3: still going for tickets for any of the events. ASB
- 54:36Speaker 3: Classic dot Co dot m Z get stuck in What
- 54:39Speaker 3: are your.
- 54:39Speaker 2: Slavery for the Hiarchy Big show week days from four

- 55:14Speaker 1: Look man, I'm absolutely naked after going to the movies
- 55:17Speaker 1: at eight fifteen pm and then getting up at some stupid.
- 55:20Speaker 4: Time like four am.
- 55:22Speaker 1: So I am probably gonna leave here, got my waft
- 55:25Speaker 1: straight after this, straight to the waft, and then I'll
- 55:27Speaker 1: probably walk home.
- 55:27Speaker 4: It's just sort of down the road, not too far
- 55:29Speaker 4: away from my place.
- 55:30Speaker 1: And then I'll just hang out there and be riddled
- 55:32Speaker 1: with anxiety in the hopes that I pass the whaft
- 55:35Speaker 1: and then maybe I'll go for a run or something.
- 55:37Speaker 3: Right, Okay, can have an app maybe.
- 55:39Speaker 1: Yeah, that's probably a good shout while I wait for
- 55:40Speaker 1: that to happen, do it right, and then hopefully play
- 55:43Speaker 1: some PlayStation cook and get the dinner on early for
- 55:45Speaker 1: when the lady gets on from work, because this is
- 55:47Speaker 1: breakfast hours, baby, it is prepped up.
- 55:49Speaker 3: I got the whole afternoon. Do you know what I'm
