  Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, so you might know what we're calling about here, Stephanie.

  Speaker 2: We've read a little bit about your story and we

  Speaker 2: know you have a surgery coming up. Just give us

  Speaker 2: the backstory on what's going on with surgery and it's

  Speaker 2: kind of affecting your work a little bit.

  Speaker 3: I actually have been dealing with us since April. I
• 1:06
  Speaker 3: went on short term disability because I was having back
• 1:10
  Speaker 3: pain and I went and I had injection after injection
• 1:15
  Speaker 3: and it helped for my right side. I had pain
• 1:19
  Speaker 3: down to my knee on my right side, and it
• 1:22
  Speaker 3: helped for that, but my left side, which I had
• 1:25
  Speaker 3: pain all the way down to my toes, it never
• 1:30
  Speaker 3: helped for that. So then we found out a couple
• 1:36
  Speaker 3: months ago that it's my s side joint, the joint
• 1:40
  Speaker 3: that connects to your hipped your spine. I need to
• 1:44
  Speaker 3: get that fused. And then in October, I had ran
• 1:50
  Speaker 3: out of short term disability and I didn't have any
• 1:53
  Speaker 3: long term disability, and I'm unable to get it now
• 1:57
  Speaker 3: because it's pre existing condition. So I've been missing a
• 2:04
  Speaker 3: lot of work because of the pain because I don't
• 2:09
  Speaker 3: know day to day if I'm going to have the
• 2:12
  Speaker 3: pain in my hip and my lower back and my
• 2:14
  Speaker 3: leg on the left side. And then when I have
• 2:19
  Speaker 3: surgery on the seventeenth, then I'll be out for six
• 2:25
  Speaker 3: weeks and I won't get paid for any of it.

  Speaker 2: So, yeah, it sounds like you're going through it a
• 2:29
  Speaker 2: little bit then, I know, around you know, this time
• 2:31
  Speaker 2: of the year, really any time of the year that
• 2:33
  Speaker 2: would be a lot, but especially this time of the
• 2:35
  Speaker 2: year where it is the season of giving and the

  Speaker 2: time of Christmas or whatever holiday you might celebrate, and

  Speaker 2: after learning about your story, Stephanie, we knew exactly what

  Speaker 2: we needed to do. After receiving your nomination from Gladys,

  Speaker 1: this financial burden over the holiday season especially, so we
