- 0:01Speaker 1: Nowor presents the Mark sim Own Show. Well, it's it's
- 0:13Speaker 1: still only Thursday. Well, one more day this week, tomorrow,
- 0:15Speaker 1: and then the beautiful weekend. It's going to be in
- 0:17Speaker 1: the mid forties. It's snow is melting everywhere. Speaking of that,
- 0:21Speaker 1: we'll get to mom Donnie and the criticism of his
- 0:25Speaker 1: snow shoveling efforts. Also, we'll get to the snowball fight,
- 0:29Speaker 1: as he called it. Arrest has been made. They got
- 0:32Speaker 1: the first guy under arrest. We'll get to that. We'll
- 0:34Speaker 1: get to President Trump, but Kamala Harris, we'll get to Netflix.
- 0:38Speaker 1: We'll get to Vince McMahon, the subways, and a whole
- 0:44Speaker 1: lot more in the Epstein hearings. Today's the day Hillary
- 0:48Speaker 1: Clinton testifies. Tomorrow, Bill Clinton testifies. They've been granted all
- 0:54Speaker 1: kinds of stuff. They don't have to go to Washington testify.
- 0:57Speaker 1: The committee will come to them. The committee is in Chappaqua,
- 1:01Speaker 1: New York right now. They're not gonna do it at
- 1:03Speaker 1: Clinton's house. They're going to do it at the Performing
- 1:06Speaker 1: Arts Center in Chappaqua, which looks like a nice building,
- 1:10Speaker 1: this Chappaqua Performing Arts Center. They will do it there.
- 1:13Speaker 1: They will video the whole thing record it. I don't
- 1:16Speaker 1: know if we'll get to see it or when it
- 1:18Speaker 1: will be released. The committee will do a press conference afterwards.
- 1:23Speaker 1: It's supposed to happen later today, Hillary today, Bill Clinton Tomorrow.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Hillary will testify today. Apparently she's going to say she
- 1:31Speaker 1: didn't know Epstein. She's going to say, I don't think
- 1:35Speaker 1: I ever met him. I don't know if I ever
- 1:36Speaker 1: met him. I don't know if this is gonna hold up,
- 1:41Speaker 1: since then they're gonna find that this pictures of her
- 1:45Speaker 1: and Epstein together, and also they were pretty close to
- 1:49Speaker 1: Gallaine Maxwell. In fact, there's pictures of Chelsea's wedding and
- 1:53Speaker 1: Gallaine Maxwell sitting there at Chelsea's wedding. So I don't
- 1:57Speaker 1: know if they're gonna get away with that. Now she's
- 2:00Speaker 1: going to say, well, Bill went on some business trips
- 2:04Speaker 1: with him, and tomorrow Bill will have to testify. Now
- 2:09Speaker 1: there's pictures of Bill in various hot tubs with Epstein,
- 2:13Speaker 1: women and Gallaine and that sort of stuff, And it's
- 2:17Speaker 1: not going to be easy to answer all that. But
- 2:19Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, unlike Hillary, Bill Clinton is very smooth, very good.
- 2:24Speaker 1: You remember he had to go through a terrible deposition
- 2:27Speaker 1: in the Monica Lewinsky hearings. It's online, you can see it.
- 2:31Speaker 1: There's one private deposition in the White House. The video
- 2:35Speaker 1: is online, you can find it where they go into
- 2:39Speaker 1: graphic detail about the sex he had with her, even
- 2:42Speaker 1: the cigar, I mean graphic detail about her body parts
- 2:47Speaker 1: and what he did. And the camera's right on him
- 2:51Speaker 1: the whole time, and he is very smooth at bobbing
- 2:57Speaker 1: and weaving and dodging those questions, and so he'll do
- 3:01Speaker 1: that with Epstein. Now it's pretty clear he had two
- 3:06Speaker 1: reasons for being around Epstein. Epstein. Obviously there were lots
- 3:10Speaker 1: and lots of women. Doesn't mean they were under age.
- 3:12Speaker 1: There were a lot of women around that were not
- 3:14Speaker 1: under age. He would provide whatever you liked, and for
- 3:17Speaker 1: most of these guys it was not underage women. But
- 3:20Speaker 1: there were a lot of women around. And Epstein had
- 3:24Speaker 1: what they call check's appeal. He would write you massive checks,
- 3:28Speaker 1: he would pay for everything. In fact, he helped It
- 3:31Speaker 1: was Epstein who helped launch the Clinton Foundation, the Clinton
- 3:34Speaker 1: Global Initiative. It was Epstein that financed a lot of
- 3:37Speaker 1: that and got it going. So I guess Bill will
- 3:40Speaker 1: have to answer for all of that. And he flew
- 3:43Speaker 1: with them all over the place. Now, most of these
- 3:46Speaker 1: guys start to lie when they're first asked about Epstein.
- 3:49Speaker 1: They lie. A great example is Bill Gates, who for
- 3:53Speaker 1: weeks and more than months and months he's been telling us, well,
- 3:56Speaker 1: I think I went to his house once for a meeting.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Remember that I did go to town. It was a
- 4:01Speaker 1: meeting about philanthropy. Well, it turned out he was all
- 4:06Speaker 1: over the world with him. He now admits he was
- 4:07Speaker 1: in France with him, Germany with him, He was here
- 4:11Speaker 1: with them, there with him. He now admits there were
- 4:13Speaker 1: a couple of women, which means there were thirty. So
- 4:16Speaker 1: this could happen with Bill Clinton Hill. But he again,
- 4:19Speaker 1: he's very good at dodging those questions. He actually is
- 4:25Speaker 1: a lawyer, I believe. Yeah, he has a law degree.
- 4:27Speaker 1: He'll be able to dodge those questions legally, and they'll
- 4:30Speaker 1: eventually get him on more stuff. But we may see
- 4:33Speaker 1: this coming up. Now there's a Harvard professor who's just
- 4:38Speaker 1: been put on leave. You know a lot of people
- 4:42Speaker 1: at Harvard in big trouble because they were so tangled
- 4:44Speaker 1: up with Epstein. Larry Summers, former president of Harvard, big
- 4:48Speaker 1: trouble because the email's back and forth with him and
- 4:51Speaker 1: Epstein discussing women, and Epstein's guiding him on how to
- 4:54Speaker 1: handle women and this and that. But now there's a
- 4:57Speaker 1: Harvard math professor who just got put on leave for
- 5:00Speaker 1: being tangled up with Epstein. It comes out in the
- 5:03Speaker 1: Epstein files. But to give you an example what I
- 5:05Speaker 1: mean by check's appeal, this is just a professor at Harvard,
- 5:09Speaker 1: a math professor. Epstein gave him almost seven million dollars. Now,
- 5:14Speaker 1: he supposedly was for a program he wanted to start.
- 5:17Speaker 1: He's a math professor and he wanted to put together
- 5:19Speaker 1: some sort of program. But Epstein wrote a check for
- 5:22Speaker 1: seven million to him. So that's why a lot of
- 5:24Speaker 1: these guys are all over Epstein, especially these college people,
- 5:27Speaker 1: college presidents and a lot of other people. He'll just
- 5:30Speaker 1: write your massive checks and that you can make a
- 5:35Speaker 1: lot of friends when you've got a big, huge checkbook
- 5:37Speaker 1: and you're writing checks like crazy. Hey, the Nancy Guthrie case.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I don't know Savannah Guthrie's latest videos. She's now making
- 5:47Speaker 1: it clear that she's fully accepted the possibility that their
- 5:50Speaker 1: mother is no longer alive. She's accepting that Apparently the
- 5:56Speaker 1: FBI yesterday made the final sweep of Nancy Guthrie's hand.
- 6:01Speaker 1: It's been closed, it's a crime scene, it's been locked up.
- 6:05Speaker 1: But yesterday they did one final search and then apparently
- 6:10Speaker 1: they're going to give the house back to the family,
- 6:13Speaker 1: open it up again. It won't be a crime scene anymore.
- 6:16Speaker 1: So that's pretty much admitting there's nothing else they can
- 6:19Speaker 1: do at this point. Now they say there's still about
- 6:24Speaker 1: three hundred to four hundred personnel on the case, but
- 6:28Speaker 1: they're pretty much admitting there's nothing else they can do
- 6:31Speaker 1: at this point except just go look for it. There's
- 6:33Speaker 1: no physical evidence anymore. I'm sure they've been through all
- 6:37Speaker 1: the phone data they can go through. You know, we've
- 6:39Speaker 1: had kidnappings in the past where people just disappeared and
- 6:42Speaker 1: were never found that one of the most famous ones.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Was it in the thirties or forties, Remember Judge Crater.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I think it was the thirties or forties. There was
- 6:51Speaker 1: a famous New York judge, Judge Crater, and he was
- 6:55Speaker 1: they think kidnapped, though he was never seen again. It's
- 6:59Speaker 1: now almost a hundred years later, we still don't know
- 7:01Speaker 1: what happened to him. But for years in the fifties
- 7:05Speaker 1: and sixties, the comedians would always make jokes using Judge
- 7:08Speaker 1: Crater as you know, to describe somebody who's totally disappeared
- 7:13Speaker 1: and never be seen again. But there was Eton Pates,
- 7:17Speaker 1: remember the young child who was they believed kidnapped and
- 7:20Speaker 1: missing and we didn't know what happened to him, for like,
- 7:23Speaker 1: was it thirty forty years So this has happened before,
- 7:27Speaker 1: and that may be the case. It maybe at some
- 7:29Speaker 1: point it turns up, some point it doesn't. But you
- 7:32Speaker 1: got to accept the fact that it's almost four weeks
- 7:35Speaker 1: now without her medication. He's not a pacemaker, most likely
- 7:40Speaker 1: not alive. And in every kidnapping, when they want ransom,
- 7:44Speaker 1: they send proof of life. They send a video of
- 7:47Speaker 1: the person tied up or something like that. They never
- 7:49Speaker 1: did that here. So now, as far as the Today Show,
- 7:53Speaker 1: Hoda Cottby has been filling in for Savannah Guthrie and
- 7:58Speaker 1: they've told her it's going to be now an extended period.
- 8:02Speaker 1: She'll stay there filling in for Savannah Guthrie indefinitely. At
- 8:06Speaker 1: some point, at some point this is going to be over,
- 8:09Speaker 1: and I guess Savannah Guthrie will return to the Today Show.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Today's show ratings have been way up. Could be as
- 8:15Speaker 1: a result of the kidnapping and everybody going there to
- 8:18Speaker 1: see what they have to say about it, but could
- 8:20Speaker 1: also be NBC Nightly News is way up the Today Shows.
- 8:25Speaker 1: They think it could be the Olympics too. The Olympics
- 8:27Speaker 1: is bringing a lot of viewers into NBC, which would
- 8:30Speaker 1: help the Today Show, which would help the Nightly News.
- 8:33Speaker 1: But twenty three million people have watched the Olympics. Normally,
- 8:37Speaker 1: network TV primetime, you're lucky. If you get four million,
- 8:40Speaker 1: Today's Show, you're lucky if you get two million, So
- 8:42Speaker 1: twenty three million all of a sudden watching the network.
- 8:46Speaker 1: That makes a big, big difference. Hey, President Trump, the
- 8:50Speaker 1: State of the Union was a great example of one
- 8:53Speaker 1: of his single greatest talents. He is so good at
- 8:57Speaker 1: bringing out the worst in his opponents. And when you're
- 9:00Speaker 1: running against somebody, you got to sell yourself, you got
- 9:02Speaker 1: to show how great you are. But you know, sometimes
- 9:05Speaker 1: you can't always do that. But He's got this great
- 9:08Speaker 1: technique of bringing out the worst in his opponents and
- 9:11Speaker 1: then using that to contrast himself. So if you're an independent,
- 9:14Speaker 1: you think, well, Trump's done some good things, but you know,
- 9:17Speaker 1: he's hard to take and I don't like his bedside manner.
- 9:22Speaker 1: But then when you watch the State of the Union,
- 9:24Speaker 1: the Democrats acting insane, acting totally nuts, acting so radically.
- 9:29Speaker 1: He brought that out so well that the contrast between
- 9:32Speaker 1: him and them. He looked so mainstream compared to these crazies.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And they wouldn't stand for any heroes. They wouldn't stand
- 9:39Speaker 1: even when he said, stand up. If you believe the
- 9:42Speaker 1: first job of the government is to take care of
- 9:44Speaker 1: the American people, not illegals. They wouldn't stand for that.
- 9:48Speaker 1: And you remember the crowd started to chant USA, USA.
- 9:53Speaker 1: You never heard them request channing that. But while that
- 9:56Speaker 1: was being chanted, that crazy representative talib you could see
- 10:01Speaker 1: her yelling something while they were chanting USA. She's yelling
- 10:06Speaker 1: so well. And it turns out that people around her
- 10:08Speaker 1: said she was chanting KKK. Well, now there's a lot
- 10:14Speaker 1: of people very upset about this, very upset about this.
- 10:17Speaker 1: She was chanting KKK. I don't know anything more offensive
- 10:21Speaker 1: she could have done. There are calls now to have
- 10:23Speaker 1: her censured in Congress. That's a big step and that
- 10:26Speaker 1: should happen. Trump tweeting out that she and Elon omar
- 10:33Speaker 1: are mentally deranged. They should be institutionalized. This isn't him
- 10:38Speaker 1: tweeting they had the bulging, bloodshot eyes of crazy people, lunatics,
- 10:43Speaker 1: mentally deranged and sick who frankly look like they should
- 10:47Speaker 1: be institutionalized. Well, I don't degree, I don't disagree if
- 10:50Speaker 1: she was chanting that out, just just awful. Remember during
- 10:55Speaker 1: the State of the Union he also mentioned our great mayor,
- 10:59Speaker 1: Mom Donnie. If you're like communists, he's a great mayor.
- 11:02Speaker 1: But here's Trump and even.
- 11:04Speaker 2: The new communist mayor of New York City.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I think he's a nice guy. Actually speak to him
- 11:08Speaker 1: a lot. They had policy, but nice guy just said they.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Want people to shovel snow.
- 11:15Speaker 1: They got hit hard. Want them to shovel snow.
- 11:18Speaker 2: But if you apply for that job, you need to
- 11:21Speaker 2: show two original forms of I day at a Social
- 11:24Speaker 2: Security card.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Here's one silly guy, that mayor. Now, he's done pretty
- 11:29Speaker 1: well in Manhattan. The snow has really really been taken
- 11:32Speaker 1: care of in Manhattan. Queen's not so much. Brooklyn not
- 11:36Speaker 1: so much. The Bronx actually got off much easier. While
- 11:38Speaker 1: we got twenty four inches in Manhattan, they only got
- 11:40Speaker 1: fourteen inches. The worst place is Staten Island. They got
- 11:44Speaker 1: almost two feet in Staten Island. The borough president is
- 11:47Speaker 1: veto Fasela. He's very upset. Now. Part of this is
- 11:51Speaker 1: it's tough to deal with two feet, but apparently it's
- 11:54Speaker 1: been neglected by Mandani and his snowplows, and the borough
- 11:58Speaker 1: president very upset.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Island was truly treated as a second class citizen this storm.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Well it usually is, but it's not right.
- 12:07Speaker 4: The city dropped the ball. Now would we find out
- 12:10Speaker 4: that the state dropped the ball as well? While we
- 12:12Speaker 4: were asking for help and needed help here on Staten Island,
- 12:15Speaker 4: we discovered that the State of New York sent about
- 12:18Speaker 4: eighty personnel with trucks and plows and everything else to
- 12:21Speaker 4: the state of Massachusetts. Like, who was thinking that that
- 12:24Speaker 4: was a good idea?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Well he's got a good point there. Now, the residents
- 12:28Speaker 1: of Staten Island very upset.
- 12:29Speaker 5: This is the worst I have ever seen this much snow.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Yeah, now it's going to be warm forty today, forty tomorrow,
- 12:37Speaker 1: I think forty seven on Saturday. That'll get rid of
- 12:39Speaker 1: the snow once and for all, and we'll get a
- 12:41Speaker 1: little rain over the weekend, which is you need that
- 12:43Speaker 1: that helps wash away the snow. So that's good news.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Now the snowball fight, and this has got a lot
- 12:51Speaker 1: of people upset. It was not a snowball fight, officers.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Police officers are being assaulted with icy snowballs, being hit
- 12:57Speaker 1: in the head, the face, everywhere. Mamdani said, it's just
- 13:02Speaker 1: kids having a snowball fight, and was not kids. By
- 13:04Speaker 1: the way, he's slightly modifying this now.
- 13:08Speaker 6: I've said that what I saw was a snowball fight.
- 13:10Speaker 1: It should be treated accordingly. He was one that got
- 13:12Speaker 1: out of hand, but that's what it was, all right.
- 13:14Speaker 1: First was a snowball fight. He's now admitting it got
- 13:16Speaker 1: out of hand, but it was pretty bad. Now here's
- 13:20Speaker 1: the good news. You remember, they have video of some
- 13:22Speaker 1: of these guys throwing the snowballs. They finally arrested one
- 13:24Speaker 1: of them. Hopefully they'll get the rest. But one of
- 13:27Speaker 1: them has been arrested. He's twenty seven years old. That's
- 13:30Speaker 1: not a kid twenty seven years old. He should be prosecuted.
- 13:34Speaker 1: It is a salt. You can really hurt somebody with
- 13:37Speaker 1: an icy snowball right in the face. It's not a
- 13:41Speaker 1: good thing cops. Because several of them went to the hospital,
- 13:45Speaker 1: you can get seriously hurt with a rock solid icy
- 13:48Speaker 1: snowball hit you. There's a Columbia University professor. Now, I
- 13:52Speaker 1: remember Colombia is a kooky, left wing, radical, crazy university. Now,
- 13:58Speaker 1: don't go near Colombia. Don't send anybody to Columbia. But
- 14:01Speaker 1: the professor was joking about the cops getting hit with snowballs,
- 14:05Speaker 1: and he put out some stupid tweet. His name is
- 14:09Speaker 1: Anthony Zankis. He posted on x one of the NYPD
- 14:13Speaker 1: officers hit with a snowball yesterday has succumbed to his
- 14:16Speaker 1: injuries and was pronounced dead at one pm this afternoon.
- 14:20Speaker 1: He's trying to be funny. The snowman he built with
- 14:23Speaker 1: his two children, now fatherless, still stands on the lawn
- 14:26Speaker 1: of his Levittown, Long Island home. So he's making fun
- 14:29Speaker 1: of the whole thing. He's making fun of cops where
- 14:32Speaker 1: they live, families have fallen cops. I mean, this is
- 14:36Speaker 1: the most disgusting tweet. The professor then went on to
- 14:42Speaker 1: say those that are angry about the snowballs are pearl
- 14:46Speaker 1: clutching conservatives having a meltdown. So this is Columbia University. Now,
- 14:50Speaker 1: any rational, normal institution would fire this guy immediately or
- 14:55Speaker 1: at least suspend them, put him on leave and investigate. Now,
- 14:58Speaker 1: this is radical, it's razy Colombia. Most likely they'll do
- 15:02Speaker 1: nothing because Colombia is a horrible, horrible place right now.
- 15:06Speaker 1: In fact, they should just shut down the whole place
- 15:08Speaker 1: right now, just shut it right down. All fundings should
- 15:11Speaker 1: be cut off. Colombia is going to take them minimum
- 15:16Speaker 1: of twenty years to recover their reputation for all of this. Hey,
- 15:19Speaker 1: we got a lot to get to today. We'll take
- 15:22Speaker 1: some calls. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven
- 15:26Speaker 1: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 15:30Speaker 1: seven ten. Oh, we're having that big networking event. We've
- 15:36Speaker 1: been doing these off the year with a lot of
- 15:37Speaker 1: our advertisers and a lot of CEOs, but we decided, well,
- 15:40Speaker 1: we'll make this one open to the public and the
- 15:43Speaker 1: seating is limited. It's actually probably a lot of standing.
- 15:46Speaker 1: It's a cocktail party, but it's a great event, a
- 15:48Speaker 1: lot of CEOs, a lot of business executives, great networking
- 15:51Speaker 1: event if you want to network with business leaders and
- 15:54Speaker 1: business owners and CEOs. We're going to do this March nineteenth,
- 15:59Speaker 1: six to eight pm March nineteenth, I'll be there. Larry
- 16:02Speaker 1: MENTI will be there. I'm gonna have Ken Rizzotto there.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Curtis lee Well will be there in fact, say a
- 16:07Speaker 1: few words. He's a great speaker. But you'll have a
- 16:10Speaker 1: lot of fun and you'll meet a lot of good
- 16:11Speaker 1: business contacts and CEOs. We're going to do it at
- 16:14Speaker 1: two Park Avenues, great new venue, two Park Avenues of
- 16:18Speaker 1: just a new great office building Park Avenue in thirty
- 16:22Speaker 1: fourth It's pretty close to Penn Station, close to Grand Central,
- 16:26Speaker 1: and they've got if you need a venue for a
- 16:27Speaker 1: corporate event, the top the venues up on the top floor,
- 16:31Speaker 1: great views of the city. The Empire State Land's got
- 16:34Speaker 1: beautiful outdoor terrace, a great venue for corporate events that
- 16:38Speaker 1: sort of stuff. Two Park Avenue. But if you want
- 16:41Speaker 1: to come, it's March nineteenth from six to eight pm.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Now you got an RSVP because it's very limited space,
- 16:48Speaker 1: so we RSVP will try to get you in to RSVP.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Just go to seven ten WR dot com slash Live
- 16:57Speaker 1: seven ten WR dot comlah Live. Give w o R
- 17:02Speaker 1: a brees on the iHeart radio app to hear Mark
- 17:05Speaker 1: Simone and all the w o R hosts In an
- 17:09Speaker 1: instance Now.
- 17:10Speaker 6: Back to the Mark Simon Show on w o R.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to uh, let's
- 17:17Speaker 1: go to Peter in Jersey City.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Peter, how you doing, Hey, Mark?
- 17:22Speaker 1: How are you?
- 17:23Speaker 7: I'm good? Thank you?
- 17:24Speaker 1: Hey.
- 17:25Speaker 5: Listen, nobody, nobody would go to the soapball issue.
- 17:29Speaker 8: Did the cops just stand there and let them be assaulted?
- 17:33Speaker 9: They didn't do anything about it.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Well, they were showing restraint, you know. That's what the
- 17:38Speaker 1: mark that's now in the age of everybody having their
- 17:42Speaker 1: phone and video everywhere, you got to give them credit
- 17:45Speaker 1: for showing restraint. Now, the good old days before there
- 17:48Speaker 1: was video, before there was anybody had a phone, and
- 17:51Speaker 1: the good old days, they would have responded the night
- 17:54Speaker 1: sticks would have come out and uh, they would get
- 17:56Speaker 1: as as Curtis would say, a wooden shampoo. But you
- 18:01Speaker 1: can't do that stuff anymore. But they did show a
- 18:05Speaker 1: lot of restraint considering what happened. Let's go to Tom
- 18:08Speaker 1: and point pleasant Tom.
- 18:09Speaker 10: How you doing, Yes, good morning Mark. One of the
- 18:12Speaker 10: more noteworthy disappearance and kidnapping was Jimmy Hoffa.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Oh there you go, of course, but that's different. Those
- 18:19Speaker 1: were beyond professionals. That was the mob. They know how
- 18:21Speaker 1: to really really make somebody disappear.
- 18:24Speaker 10: But I ask you a question, Mark, how do you
- 18:26Speaker 10: feel about the president selling risk watches on TV? Don't
- 18:29Speaker 10: you think that degrades the president? But I think that's
- 18:34Speaker 10: a little.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Bit this great not at all he's got. And it's
- 18:36Speaker 1: not just risk, It's okay if it's you've been doing
- 18:38Speaker 1: it all your life and for years he's been selling
- 18:41Speaker 1: the Trump hats, Trump ties, Trump stuff.
- 18:44Speaker 10: Merchandise as the president.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I mean he's just continuing what he's always done. Yeah,
- 18:50Speaker 1: you could have, you could make a case. I mean,
- 18:51Speaker 1: you're not wrong, but I wouldn't worry about it's such
- 18:53Speaker 1: a tiny, tiny point.
- 18:56Speaker 10: Hey, I agree with that.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Have you ever gone to Trump Tower, to Trum Tower,
- 19:00Speaker 1: go downstairs, there's a Trump's store. They sell absolutely everything
- 19:04Speaker 1: in the world with the Trump logo on it. You'll
- 19:06Speaker 1: love it. Now. Some people will say it's an egomaniac
- 19:10Speaker 1: Trump towels, Trump water, Trump. Well, no, actually, he's been
- 19:13Speaker 1: in the hotel business for decades and it's what you
- 19:16Speaker 1: do when you're in the hotel business. Every hotel chain
- 19:19Speaker 1: you know, you forget, Trump owns dozens and dozens and
- 19:22Speaker 1: dozens and dozens of hotels all over the world. Every
- 19:25Speaker 1: hotel chain, Ritz Carlton, Marriott four Seasons has a gift
- 19:29Speaker 1: shop where they got Ritz Carlton towels, which Rich Carlton bathrobes,
- 19:34Speaker 1: Riz Carlton shirts, Ritz Carlton water. It's a normal thing
- 19:37Speaker 1: you do when you have a hotel chain. It's like
- 19:39Speaker 1: when he open his own steak company. They said, what
- 19:41Speaker 1: kind of guy opened Well, most big chains do that.
- 19:45Speaker 1: You open your own because it's too much to go into.
- 19:48Speaker 1: It's a lot cheaper if you have your own steak
- 19:50Speaker 1: company instead of buying it all the time. So when
- 19:52Speaker 1: Trump probably owns, I don't know, two hundred restaurants, you
- 19:55Speaker 1: form your own steak company. Let's go to Robert and Yonkers. Robert,
- 19:59Speaker 1: how you doing, hey.
- 20:01Speaker 9: Mark Man, Danny wants to cost to quick because he
- 20:03Speaker 9: wants to put a Communist patrol in there, and I
- 20:06Speaker 9: just think it's crazy. And as usual gold Buchan and.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Go, baby, there you go. You know, you got to
- 20:11Speaker 1: explain that nobody remembers Pat Buchanan was a wonderful guy
- 20:15Speaker 1: a million years ago. He used to be a regular
- 20:16Speaker 1: guest on this show. Uh. In fact, he's long gone,
- 20:20Speaker 1: long forgotten. Some people have actually talked about the President
- 20:23Speaker 1: should award him one of those one of those medals,
- 20:26Speaker 1: because he was pretty good. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 20:30Speaker 1: how you doing, good morning?
- 20:31Speaker 7: Mark? Markom Okay a gentleman who called from Jersey. He
- 20:36Speaker 7: lives in a town called I mean he's talking about
- 20:40Speaker 7: possums and all the wildlife.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Swamp I have that.
- 20:45Speaker 9: I have that kind of problem my yard at night,
- 20:49Speaker 9: my yard and the possums.
- 20:51Speaker 7: No like as the vacuum cum.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Hey, Vincent, you're you're all. It's not you. The phone's
- 20:58Speaker 1: all screwed up. It's cutting you off. But call us back.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Let's go to Peter and Flushing. Peter, how you're doing.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Mark, Good morning. He used to be a police officer,
- 21:08Speaker 3: recently retired. As my heart was breaking, well, I saw
- 21:11Speaker 3: the police, how they were being treatable. It's more heartbreaking
- 21:14Speaker 3: is how this mayor responded to that to moralize in
- 21:17Speaker 3: his police, and he's putting them in a position where
- 21:20Speaker 3: if they instinctively want to do what they need to
- 21:23Speaker 3: do and how they're trained, they won't. They have mace,
- 21:25Speaker 3: they have body cameras on that Nobody punishes the police
- 21:30Speaker 3: harder than the New York City Police Department when they're wrong.
- 21:33Speaker 3: If these guys would have defended themselves correctly and enforced
- 21:35Speaker 3: laws and ordinances, they should have done everything possible to
- 21:39Speaker 3: cop as many people as possible. That should have been
- 21:41Speaker 3: a full blown thirteen more cops should have been there, Supervisor.
- 21:45Speaker 3: I didn't notice. I didn't see any white shirts at all.
- 21:48Speaker 3: It's just a very very weird dynamic we're living. And
- 21:50Speaker 3: I'd love to hear your opinion.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Yeah, well, the only thing white shirts means Captain's lieutenant's
- 21:56Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. Where to go? We lost him.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I think he's listening to himself. Ten thirteen is I
- 22:04Speaker 1: don't know, that's a little it's a ten eighty five
- 22:06Speaker 1: to fourth with I don't think you can call it
- 22:08Speaker 1: ten thirteen over snowballs. But no, you're absolutely right. It's
- 22:12Speaker 1: just totally totally out of it, you know. And the
- 22:14Speaker 1: other problem I'll get to listen in the next hour.
- 22:15Speaker 1: There's a bunch of studies that have come out. When
- 22:18Speaker 1: you get lax on these kind of things, it eventually
- 22:21Speaker 1: gets people killed. I'll explain, Hi. I mean, there's like
- 22:25Speaker 1: actual research on this on how this changes that. Well,
- 22:28Speaker 1: we'll get to that in the next hour because when
- 22:30Speaker 1: we come back, we'll talk to the great economist Steve Moore.
- 22:34Speaker 1: He'll be with us next on seven to ten WR.
- 22:38Speaker 8: He's more Mark, So Mark Simone show on seven ten WR.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Well, the brilliant economist Steve Moore also runs the Committee
- 22:48Speaker 1: to Unleashed Prosperity. You should get there daily briefing. It's
- 22:52Speaker 1: the best news and analysis. You'll sound really smart, you'll
- 22:55Speaker 1: be really well informed. It's free, it'll come right to
- 22:58Speaker 1: your email. Just go sign up. Go to Unleash Prosperity
- 23:01Speaker 1: dot com and sign up for the hotline Unleash Prosperity
- 23:06Speaker 1: dot com. Steve Moore, How you doing?
- 23:09Speaker 5: Uh? Feeling good about things? Mark? After that great speech
- 23:12Speaker 5: the President gave, really celebrating the victories that he's had
- 23:15Speaker 5: in his first thirteen months in office, and economy's riding high.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Now. Yeah, and those Democrats, boy, they fell into every
- 23:22Speaker 1: trap he said for them. A lot of TV commercials
- 23:25Speaker 1: would come from that.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Well, you know, now, we're not the party of the
- 23:30Speaker 5: illegal immigrants. So I mean, listen, I'm very pro immigrant,
- 23:34Speaker 5: as you know, and I think immigrants are so critical
- 23:36Speaker 5: to our country. But what's so hard about saying, hey,
- 23:39Speaker 5: you got to come in the right way. You got
- 23:40Speaker 5: to wait your turn, your turn in line. That's the
- 23:43Speaker 5: way immigrants have always come into this country. And so
- 23:47Speaker 5: and I thought Trump really nailed them on that, you know,
- 23:50Speaker 5: idea of the voter ID for voting. I mean, of course,
- 23:54Speaker 5: you know you should be able to prove you're a citizen,
- 23:56Speaker 5: proof that you're a legal resident of the country before
- 23:59Speaker 5: you vote. I mean, come on, uh, And you know
- 24:02Speaker 5: it's almost to me, it's almost racist for the oh well,
- 24:05Speaker 5: you know, these poor Hispanics and these poor minorities, you
- 24:09Speaker 5: know they don't have an ID. It's like, what, come on,
- 24:13Speaker 5: I tried to check into a hotel last night. I
- 24:16Speaker 5: didn't have an ID with me, and they wouldn't let
- 24:17Speaker 5: me in the hotel. You need an ID for about everything,
- 24:20Speaker 5: why not voting.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Wait a minute, you didn't have an ID with you?
- 24:23Speaker 5: I you know what, I left my passport, which I
- 24:25Speaker 5: leave us an ideas accidentally, So I get to the hotel,
- 24:28Speaker 5: they wouldn't let me in. So I almost called you
- 24:31Speaker 5: up and said, America, I'm in New York.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Can you put me up to a suspicious guy? Like you.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I wouldn't let you either. I don't know it's right.
- 24:39Speaker 1: So that's the point.
- 24:40Speaker 5: It's like everything you need a ID. You want to
- 24:42Speaker 5: get on the airplane, you do, want to use your
- 24:44Speaker 5: credit card, you wanted, you know, check into hotel, Almost
- 24:48Speaker 5: everything you need an ID for. So who are these
- 24:51Speaker 5: people who are Kim who said forty percent of Americans
- 24:54Speaker 5: don't have IDA?
- 24:55Speaker 7: What is she talking?
- 24:59Speaker 1: Is the right? You know, it's the most racist thing
- 25:01Speaker 1: you could say that, Oh, poor people, minorities, they don't
- 25:04Speaker 1: know how to get an idea. That's absolutely insane.
- 25:06Speaker 5: Yeah, someone like us said that. They know you're racist,
- 25:10Speaker 5: but when they say it, no, they're defending me at
- 25:12Speaker 5: the lollingc of films. But anyway, I thought, I love
- 25:15Speaker 5: what Trump is doing on the economy. We have a
- 25:17Speaker 5: new study. By the way, did you hear one of
- 25:19Speaker 5: his first lines that Trump used in that speech? You
- 25:21Speaker 5: may recall he said, I've proven twenty two Nobel economists wrong.
- 25:26Speaker 5: I don't know if you remember when he said that,
- 25:27Speaker 5: but guess who gave him that line?
- 25:30Speaker 1: I guess I know you've been saying.
- 25:33Speaker 5: That all along, But hey, yes, that was good. That's
- 25:37Speaker 5: a good line, and it happens to me. True all
- 25:38Speaker 5: the Nobel You remember this Mark when he was elect
- 25:41Speaker 5: Oh my god, we have a great depression. That's gonna
- 25:43Speaker 5: be the biggest stock sellouf ever. The inflation is going
- 25:46Speaker 5: to go through the roof. Wrong, wrong, long, long, long.
- 25:48Speaker 5: And he showed the Nobel Prize winners.
- 25:50Speaker 1: How did these guys get jobs? You know, like a
- 25:52Speaker 1: Paul Krugman for years, everything he said was wrong. You
- 25:55Speaker 1: know what, doesn't the employer at some point say this
- 25:58Speaker 1: guy's always wrong. Let's get somebody else.
- 26:01Speaker 5: Well, if you were in the private sector, and let's
- 26:03Speaker 5: say you were an eponymous for Goldman, sax or something,
- 26:06Speaker 5: you would you would be fired. But if you're at
- 26:08Speaker 5: a university, it doesn't matter how many times you're wrong.
- 26:10Speaker 5: As long as you're you're attacking Donald Trump, you've got tenure.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Hey, you know the state of the Union. You know
- 26:16Speaker 1: who had a hard time with it. The fact checkers.
- 26:18Speaker 1: They really couldn't get anything on them, could they. They
- 26:22Speaker 1: really couldn't.
- 26:23Speaker 5: And I mean the tax cut has been big and
- 26:25Speaker 5: has been beautiful, and people you know, used to come
- 26:28Speaker 5: up to me at the end of last year and
- 26:29Speaker 5: they'd be young that Hey, Steve Moore where's that patch cut?
- 26:32Speaker 5: You know, you said that Trump was going to get it,
- 26:34Speaker 5: and then I said, just wait, it's coming. You know,
- 26:36Speaker 5: So now people are really seeing it in their paychecks.
- 26:38Speaker 5: The average family will see about two thousand dollars less
- 26:41Speaker 5: money with drawn from their paycheck by the IRS than
- 26:44Speaker 5: they did last year because they're the big, beautiful bill.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Plus you've got is a friend Larry Tubler says, we've
- 26:49Speaker 5: got an investment boom going on in this country by businesses.
- 26:52Speaker 5: Why is that? Oh, because we cut the tax rate
- 26:54Speaker 5: on investing. And you know, who would have thought that
- 26:56Speaker 5: if you cut the tax on something, you get more
- 26:58Speaker 5: of it.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, Steve Moore, explain something about tariffs. If you've
- 27:02Speaker 1: got enough tariff revenue, you could really bring down income
- 27:06Speaker 1: tax or even eliminated. Is that possible?
- 27:09Speaker 7: It is?
- 27:10Speaker 5: In fact, I talk about that in our hotline that
- 27:13Speaker 5: came out this this morning. So everybody should get that.
- 27:15Speaker 5: Just go to on leash prosterity dot com and sign
- 27:17Speaker 5: up for free. And that was one of our points
- 27:19Speaker 5: is you know, the left lap Trump things we can
- 27:21Speaker 5: get rid of the income tax. That could never work.
- 27:23Speaker 5: It's inconceivable. I'm like, well, wait a minute, you know,
- 27:25Speaker 5: are these people stupid? It was for the first one
- 27:28Speaker 5: hundred and twenty five years of this country, Mark, we
- 27:30Speaker 5: didn't have an income tax, and we did just fine,
- 27:32Speaker 5: as I recall, you know. And so if we could
- 27:35Speaker 5: we could do this with an eighteen percent national sales
- 27:37Speaker 5: tax and an eighteen percent tariff we could replace. We
- 27:40Speaker 5: could have zero in personal income text, zero capital gain tax,
- 27:44Speaker 5: zero tot tax, zero dividend tax, zero corporate tax. I mean,
- 27:48Speaker 5: can you imagine what that would do for our economy?
- 27:50Speaker 5: I mean, you want to talk about pumping rocket fuel
- 27:52Speaker 5: and steroids into the butt of the economy. It would
- 27:54Speaker 5: be the most amazing thing.
- 27:56Speaker 1: You know.
- 27:56Speaker 5: We'd have to probably build a wall six hundred feet
- 27:58Speaker 5: tall to keep all the people us we'd want to
- 28:00Speaker 5: come here because we'd be you know, so many jobs
- 28:03Speaker 5: and so much capital.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Yeah, people might not realize this. There was no income
- 28:07Speaker 1: tax in America till like.
- 28:08Speaker 5: Nineteen until nineteen fourteen.
- 28:10Speaker 1: So in nineteen thirteen, how do we pay for the
- 28:12Speaker 1: army and for everything?
- 28:15Speaker 5: Well, we had that's a good question. We got our
- 28:18Speaker 5: revenues from two major sources. One was terraces and you
- 28:21Speaker 5: know what, the other one was no land sales.
- 28:25Speaker 1: You mean like a TAXI we sold that.
- 28:29Speaker 5: We sold federal lands and we now, by the way,
- 28:32Speaker 5: the federal government still owns what about thirty five percent
- 28:35Speaker 5: of the federal the land and about fifty percent of
- 28:37Speaker 5: the land west of the Mississippi. So let's sell that.
- 28:40Speaker 5: Use that money to get rid of the income tax.
- 28:42Speaker 5: What do you think about that?
- 28:43Speaker 1: Yeah? You know, if you were one of these private
- 28:45Speaker 1: sector takeover guys and you came in and you bought
- 28:49Speaker 1: the United States of America, you'd see, well, I can
- 28:50Speaker 1: cut the budget in half easily without any loss, and
- 28:53Speaker 1: I could get rid of the tax and do TARA.
- 28:56Speaker 1: It'd be easy to do, wouldn't it if you.
- 28:59Speaker 5: Were Yeah, Plus, if you an eighteen percent sales tax
- 29:01Speaker 5: already paid every time the government would you know? With
- 29:04Speaker 5: the other politicians like Akamo Harrister, you know, your friend
- 29:08Speaker 5: Bernie Sanders said, oh, let's have this new government program.
- 29:11Speaker 5: And they say, well, if we do that, we're gonna
- 29:13Speaker 5: have to raise the sales tax nineteen percent. He said, hell, no,
- 29:15Speaker 5: we don't want you to raise a sales tax. You
- 29:17Speaker 5: have a natural opposition from everyone, all voters, because everybody
- 29:22Speaker 5: would pay their fair share.
- 29:23Speaker 1: For the government, Steve Moore, if you were running a
- 29:26Speaker 1: state like California, you're whatever state you're running, and you
- 29:29Speaker 1: noticed a lot of my businesses are moving to Texas,
- 29:33Speaker 1: wouldn't you say to yourself, what are they doing there?
- 29:35Speaker 1: How come? Wouldn't you copy what they're doing?
- 29:39Speaker 5: You would think? So, you know, this is the ingeniousness
- 29:43Speaker 5: of our founding fathers was creating a system where the states.
- 29:47Speaker 5: So many of the rights and privileges were delegated to
- 29:51Speaker 5: the states, not the federal government. And the founding fathers
- 29:54Speaker 5: wanted the states to compete against each other, because competition
- 29:57Speaker 5: is a good thing. Well, that's what we've got now.
- 30:00Speaker 5: And do you know what the five states are that
- 30:02Speaker 5: have the highest cost of living the least affordable states?
- 30:06Speaker 1: Uh, well, I guess New York and California.
- 30:09Speaker 5: Yes, And New Jersey and Connecticut and Massachusetts Illinois, Massachusetts,
- 30:15Speaker 5: Connecticut is a very expensive state, too high cost of living.
- 30:17Speaker 5: In the states with the lowest cost of living, or
- 30:19Speaker 5: states like Arkansas, states like Alabama, states like North Carolina,
- 30:24Speaker 5: states like Utah, Gee, they have no low taxes, I mean,
- 30:28Speaker 5: so they can. And by the way, in New York
- 30:30Speaker 5: and California, even though they're getting crushed. I mean New
- 30:33Speaker 5: York has lost. There's a new study by a New
- 30:35Speaker 5: York business group that's finding hundreds and hundreds and hundreds
- 30:37Speaker 5: of businesses that have left just in the last year.
- 30:41Speaker 5: And you think, maybe we should try a new game plan.
- 30:44Speaker 5: And yet Mondomie wants to what he wants a millionaire
- 30:47Speaker 5: billionaire tax, and he can't have that. He's going to
- 30:49Speaker 5: race action on everybody. And you know, oh, gee, we
- 30:52Speaker 5: can't find any money to save from the budget. Really, really,
- 30:55Speaker 5: out of one hundred and twelve billion dollar budget, you
- 30:57Speaker 5: can't find any money to save.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:59Speaker 1: No, I mean if you doge doge every city in
- 31:03Speaker 1: New York, you'd save probably seventy five percent of the budget. Well,
- 31:07Speaker 1: Steve Moore, great stuff. Hey, I forgot to mention your book,
- 31:10Speaker 1: The Trump Economic Miracle.
- 31:12Speaker 6: It's a miracle.
- 31:13Speaker 5: It's a miracle.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Excellent bookf you want to understand all this in detail,
- 31:16Speaker 1: get Steve Moore's book, The Trump Economic Miracle. Are you
- 31:19Speaker 1: working on another book?
- 31:21Speaker 5: Well, it's so funny. Trump asked me, you're gonna let
- 31:23Speaker 5: a new book down. Okay, that's a present I will,
- 31:27Speaker 5: you know, I don't know what to call this one,
- 31:28Speaker 5: but you know his record is sterling, and I think
- 31:31Speaker 5: the things are only going to get better.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, thanks to you and others who have helped
- 31:36Speaker 1: with all of this, and Steve Moore, great stuff, thanks
- 31:39Speaker 1: for being with us.
- 31:40Speaker 5: Thank you, Mark, great weekend to take care.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Hey, make sure you sign up for his daily briefing.
- 31:44Speaker 1: It's really great stuff. It's called the Hotline. Just go
- 31:47Speaker 1: to Unleash prosperity dot com and sign up for It's free.
- 31:51Speaker 1: It'll come write to your email every day Unleash prosperity

- 32:00Speaker 1: Bucklebe with us on the show tomorrow. He's got a
- 32:02Speaker 1: great new book out. But Bucking Clay to day twelve
- 32:04Speaker 1: noon and then three o'clock. You got the most listened
- 32:07Speaker 1: to radio show in America. Sean Hannity, Jesse Kelly at
- 32:12Speaker 1: six and Jimmy Fayla every night now nine o'clock on
- 32:16Speaker 1: seven ten, wr Mark Simil on seventeen wo r Hey,
- 32:29Speaker 1: it's gonna be in the forties today, low forties all afternoon.
- 32:33Speaker 1: That'll melt a lot of snow, and then even warmer
- 32:37Speaker 1: on the weekend. It's gonna hit forty five forty seven
- 32:40Speaker 1: on Saturday. That should get rid of it. Little rain
- 32:42Speaker 1: on Sunday will help wash it away, so that should
- 32:45Speaker 1: be it. Now next week, oh, Monday, there's a possibility
- 32:50Speaker 1: of snow. Looks like an inch or two. And then
- 32:53Speaker 1: after that Monday, Tuesday's cold. It could be a little snow.
- 32:56Speaker 1: But after that it goes into the fifties for the
- 32:59Speaker 1: week after that and at one point hits sixty degrees.
- 33:02Speaker 1: So that should be the end of it. And then
- 33:05Speaker 1: a week from Sunday we go on daylight Saving time.
- 33:09Speaker 1: It'll be light out till six thirty. That's gonna make
- 33:12Speaker 1: a big difference. You're gonna feel a lot better when
- 33:14Speaker 1: that happens. And then the week after that first week
- 33:17Speaker 1: of spring. So it's almost here. You got through the
- 33:19Speaker 1: worst of the winter. You got like two and a
- 33:22Speaker 1: half three weeks till spring. That's I think twenty two days.
- 33:25Speaker 1: That's three weeks, three weeks until spring. You can do it.
- 33:29Speaker 1: It's almost over this winter anyway. Coming up in the
- 33:32Speaker 1: next hour, we've got a lot to get to. We'll
- 33:34Speaker 1: get to Mom, Donnie and his craziness. We'll get to
- 33:36Speaker 1: the White House correspondence dinner we'll get to Epstein, We'll
- 33:40Speaker 1: get to Iran and a lot more coming up. Don't
- 33:42Speaker 1: go away back right after the news here on seven
- 33:45Speaker 1: to ten WOS. Let's get back to the Mark Simone
- 33:49Speaker 1: Show on wor Hey. We got a lot to talk
- 33:56Speaker 1: about today, lots to get to the Clinton. It hasn't
- 34:00Speaker 1: started yet. They're in the committee that's investigating the Epstein stuff.
- 34:04Speaker 1: They're in Chappaqua and they're going to interview the Clintons
- 34:08Speaker 1: in Chappaqua. They're really accommodating these Clintons. You know, normally
- 34:12Speaker 1: you got to go to Washington and you got to
- 34:14Speaker 1: testify right there in the big hearing. Remember even Michael
- 34:17Speaker 1: Corleone had to go to Washington and sit in that room.
- 34:20Speaker 1: But they're all flown up to Chappaqua. They're not even
- 34:24Speaker 1: going to Clinton's house. They've rented the Chappaqua Performing Arts
- 34:29Speaker 1: Center where they'll do the deposition of Hillary today, I
- 34:33Speaker 1: mean tomorrow, they'll do Bill Clinton. This should starting a
- 34:38Speaker 1: little while. I imagine it being over by I don't know,
- 34:40Speaker 1: one o'clock and then they're going to hold a press
- 34:42Speaker 1: conference and let you know what happened. They are recording it.
- 34:46Speaker 1: There will be video I don't know if we'll get
- 34:48Speaker 1: to see it, but probably they'll release clips of it.
- 34:50Speaker 1: She's gonna say she didn't know Epstein, she'd never met
- 34:53Speaker 1: she doesn't know if she met him, which is probably
- 34:57Speaker 1: a mistake. They'll come up with tons of evident that
- 35:00Speaker 1: she did know, So we'll keep you posted on that.
- 35:04Speaker 1: You know, they do the White House Correspondence Dinner every year.
- 35:07Speaker 1: That's always been a big event for years. Every president
- 35:10Speaker 1: comes the White House Correspondence Dinner. It's like they call
- 35:13Speaker 1: it the nerd prom every every newsperson fake news. This
- 35:20Speaker 1: is their big dinner. It's in the big enormous hotel
- 35:23Speaker 1: ballroom with these big tables, and MSNBC as a table,
- 35:27Speaker 1: and CNN has a couple tables, and all those talking
- 35:31Speaker 1: heads you see on TV, all the fake news anchors,
- 35:33Speaker 1: they're all there. And for years it'd be some gentle
- 35:37Speaker 1: ribbing of the president, you know, they gently rib Clinton
- 35:41Speaker 1: or Busher, but sometimes it would get out of hand.
- 35:44Speaker 1: You remember one year they could always have a comedian
- 35:48Speaker 1: as the big guest star, a big comedian, and when
- 35:51Speaker 1: it was Jay Leno, he would do handle it perfectly.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Jokes on both sides of the aisle just fun funny jokes,
- 35:58Speaker 1: and then sometimes it would get a little lettle. I
- 36:01Speaker 1: remember one year was Imus and he he went after
- 36:04Speaker 1: Clinton a little too hard and they got all upset.
- 36:06Speaker 1: And then it was George W. Bush. They didn't like him,
- 36:11Speaker 1: and they'd always get a comedian that would go after him.
- 36:14Speaker 1: But Bush was pretty funny and he would do a
- 36:16Speaker 1: pretty funny response. And then Obama, of course gentle ribbing,
- 36:22Speaker 1: and Biden they barely made fun of him. And then
- 36:27Speaker 1: Donald Trump comes along and they just they're going to
- 36:30Speaker 1: take the gloves off and really, really really go after him.
- 36:33Speaker 1: So he just and he knew that he didn't come
- 36:35Speaker 1: to the dinner. He stopped coming, and it brought down sales.
- 36:39Speaker 1: One of the reasons these big news organizations get a
- 36:43Speaker 1: table at the White House Correspondence Dinner is to bring
- 36:45Speaker 1: their advertisers. It's a big thing for your sponsors, your advertisers,
- 36:49Speaker 1: because they'll get to meet everybody in television and all
- 36:52Speaker 1: of that. But guess what this year, Trump's not going
- 36:56Speaker 1: to come. Guess guess who the big comedian is this
- 36:59Speaker 1: year nobody, this first year ever, no comedian. The big
- 37:05Speaker 1: entertainment will be the mentalist Oz Pearlman. The hell is
- 37:10Speaker 1: Oz Pearlman. I know the name. He's a mentalist and
- 37:16Speaker 1: I don't know what that mo would hapen. I mean,
- 37:17Speaker 1: you talk about a major dinner, three thousand people in
- 37:20Speaker 1: a ballroom and you're going to watch this guy do
- 37:23Speaker 1: what card tricks or something. I don't know, but that's
- 37:26Speaker 1: going to be. That's going to be a president. Trump
- 37:28Speaker 1: will not come to it. Hey, one reason he ran
- 37:32Speaker 1: for president was this White House Correspondence dinner. He went
- 37:36Speaker 1: one year Obama was president. I guess it was twenty fourteen,
- 37:42Speaker 1: and it was actually my friend Lollly Weymouth who invited
- 37:44Speaker 1: him to come sit at her table, the Washington Post table,
- 37:48Speaker 1: and he went down to Washington first time he went
- 37:50Speaker 1: to the White House Corresponds and he was sitting there
- 37:52Speaker 1: and I guess Obama knew he would be there. And
- 37:55Speaker 1: Obama really went after him and it was ugly. It
- 37:58Speaker 1: was too nasty. And if you watch the video, you
- 38:02Speaker 1: can see Trump not liking this. I mean, he loves
- 38:06Speaker 1: to be the center of attention, but this was too much,
- 38:09Speaker 1: way too much. He didn't like it. He got mad,
- 38:12Speaker 1: he got angry, and everybody close to him said when
- 38:16Speaker 1: he got back from Washington that Monday. Everything had changed.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Everything had changed. He looked at Obama and he knew
- 38:24Speaker 1: he was going to go after this guy now and run.
- 38:27Speaker 1: He couldn't stand these politicians, and that's where he decided
- 38:30Speaker 1: he would run for president. He they're toyed with it
- 38:33Speaker 1: all his life, but that's where he decided to run.
- 38:36Speaker 1: So you know about this Vince McMahon story. Vince McMahon,
- 38:40Speaker 1: what is it called now WWE wrestling? A nice guy,
- 38:45Speaker 1: this Vince McMahon. He's a colorful guy. You don't realize
- 38:48Speaker 1: how old he is. He's eighty now, eighty years old.
- 38:52Speaker 1: So he's got a Bentley. It's like a gold Bentley.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Now he lives in Connecticut. You'll never see a Bentley.
- 39:00Speaker 1: You'll never see a gold Bentley in connectic If you
- 39:03Speaker 1: go to Long Island, you'll see a Rolls Royce of
- 39:05Speaker 1: Bentley in every other space in the parking lot at
- 39:07Speaker 1: the Americana. Everybody in a Bentley. They'll roll down the
- 39:11Speaker 1: window and say to you, how are you. But in
- 39:13Speaker 1: Connecticut there's no Bentley's except for Vince McMahon. So the
- 39:17Speaker 1: merrit Parkway is like an old, sleepy old parkway. It's
- 39:22Speaker 1: not like ninety five, you know, twelve lanes and trucks.
- 39:25Speaker 1: It's the Merrit Parkway, which is very scenic and it's
- 39:28Speaker 1: it's a quiet parkway until Vince McMahon shows up with
- 39:33Speaker 1: this Bentley and I didn't realize that Bentley is a
- 39:37Speaker 1: really fast car. You know, it's kind of a big, big,
- 39:39Speaker 1: you know, heavy car, but it really moves. So apparently
- 39:42Speaker 1: he was going like one hundred and twenty miles an
- 39:43Speaker 1: hour at one point. It's not ninety five, it's the
- 39:49Speaker 1: Merrit which is very slow and quiet. So the video
- 39:53Speaker 1: has been released, you can see it online. Vince McMahon
- 39:55Speaker 1: going one hundred and twenty one hundred and fifteen and
- 40:00Speaker 1: police are chasing him now and he's not pulling over
- 40:04Speaker 1: and they can't really keep up with him. You know,
- 40:06Speaker 1: I didn't realize that Bentley was that fast, but they're
- 40:08Speaker 1: they're losing them, but they finally do get him to
- 40:11Speaker 1: pull over. They got the siren, they got the lights,
- 40:13Speaker 1: they got the whole thing going. And he's going so
- 40:15Speaker 1: fast and he's going in and out of lanes, he's
- 40:18Speaker 1: changing lanes. He did hit a car, he hit the rail.
- 40:21Speaker 1: In fact, the whole Bentley was told it was like
- 40:23Speaker 1: remember the Wolf of Wall Street when he's driving home
- 40:25Speaker 1: in that car. It was like that totally demolished. Police
- 40:28Speaker 1: pull him over. I didn't appear to be drunk. I
- 40:32Speaker 1: don't know why he was speeding so much, and he
- 40:36Speaker 1: was a little confused. He was very nice about it,
- 40:39Speaker 1: very nice to the officers. And here's somebody just.
- 40:41Speaker 6: Stay in the car. Do you need an ambulance?
- 40:43Speaker 8: No?
- 40:43Speaker 9: I don't.
- 40:43Speaker 6: All right, why were you driving over one hundred miles
- 40:46Speaker 6: an hour?
- 40:47Speaker 9: I got grandaughters burke.
- 40:49Speaker 6: Did you see me trying to catch up to you?
- 40:50Speaker 6: Behind you? I didn't see that so lights, but it
- 40:53Speaker 6: didn't look normal. Yeah, I'm trying to catch up to
- 40:56Speaker 6: and you keep taking off.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know, he said, he was what why
- 41:00Speaker 1: were you? I was trying to get to my granddaughter's birthday. Now,
- 41:05Speaker 1: something's wrong with this explanation. I'm sure you can love
- 41:08Speaker 1: to go to your granddaughter's birthday. That's not something where
- 41:11Speaker 1: you go one hundred and twenty miles an hour to
- 41:13Speaker 1: get to that. I don't know. There might be some
- 41:16Speaker 1: unbelievable circumstance where you'd be racing there, not your granddaughter's birthday,
- 41:20Speaker 1: So nobody knows why he was going there. Parts of it.
- 41:24Speaker 1: You can see much more of the video online, but
- 41:25Speaker 1: parts of it aren't there. He must have explained to
- 41:27Speaker 1: him who he was at one point. He's being very
- 41:30Speaker 1: nice to them. He's not being obnoxious about anything. But
- 41:33Speaker 1: they went pretty easy on him. Normally, if you're going
- 41:35Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty, you're going to get arrested. It's
- 41:37Speaker 1: like a real serious crime and a real serious charge.
- 41:40Speaker 1: But he got off pretty easy on all of this.
- 41:43Speaker 1: But good ad for Bentley actually, although you can't use
- 41:48Speaker 1: the video because he keeps hitting everything. He hits every
- 41:50Speaker 1: car on the road, he hits the rail. He just
- 41:52Speaker 1: does everything. I mean, weaving all over the place. So hey,
- 41:57Speaker 1: Kamala Harris is on her book tour. She's really trying
- 42:00Speaker 1: to sell this book. She's in Indianapolis today speaking. Apparently
- 42:04Speaker 1: she's making noise about running in twenty twenty four, which
- 42:08Speaker 1: is frightening everybody, including Democrats. They don't want to get
- 42:10Speaker 1: stuck with this bird brain again. But she's not going
- 42:14Speaker 1: to go away that easy. Oh remember I was telling
- 42:17Speaker 1: you the State of the Union speech. It was all
- 42:20Speaker 1: traps for the Democrats. The whole mission in the State
- 42:23Speaker 1: of Union speech was to set traps have them fall
- 42:26Speaker 1: into it. The Republicans and Trump would come away with
- 42:32Speaker 1: millions of great TV ads as a result. The first
- 42:35Speaker 1: one is out. In fact, I can't play it for
- 42:38Speaker 1: you because you got to see the visual. It doesn't
- 42:40Speaker 1: work without seeing the visual. But it's up on my Twitter.
- 42:44Speaker 1: You can go look at it, Mark Simone en ya Twitter.
- 42:46Speaker 1: But it's powerful. It's that moment where he said, stand
- 42:51Speaker 1: up and show your support if you believe the first
- 42:54Speaker 1: job of government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens. Well,
- 43:00Speaker 1: all the Republicans stand up. All the Democrats sit there
- 43:03Speaker 1: and they look really awful. They're putting these ugly scowls
- 43:05Speaker 1: on their face. The video is amazing, the way they've
- 43:08Speaker 1: cut this together. It's a thirty second ad. They've already
- 43:12Speaker 1: announced they're spending seven million on the ad by the
- 43:15Speaker 1: first ad by they're going to run this everywhere. It
- 43:19Speaker 1: is going to be devastating. And this is just the
- 43:21Speaker 1: first ad to come out. Again, it's on my Twitter
- 43:24Speaker 1: if you want to look at it. Looks really, really,
- 43:26Speaker 1: really ugly for Democrats. Hey, this has been coming out.
- 43:32Speaker 1: The raid on mar A Lago, Jack Smith, all that
- 43:37Speaker 1: law there, the weaponizing the Justice Department. You know, the
- 43:40Speaker 1: Biden kept denying and denying and denying that he had
- 43:44Speaker 1: anything to do with it. Well, he's been caught. They
- 43:48Speaker 1: have found Department of justicees found the back and forth,
- 43:50Speaker 1: the the emails, the documents. Biden was in on the
- 43:55Speaker 1: d We will always knew this, but he kept lying
- 43:58Speaker 1: about it. But the raiding team said they had to
- 44:01Speaker 1: wait to meet with Biden to brief him about it,
- 44:04Speaker 1: to go over it with him. The emails totally show
- 44:08Speaker 1: Biden completely lying that he had no previous knowledge. In
- 44:12Speaker 1: the documents, he said, we have to brief President Joe Biden.
- 44:14Speaker 1: He wants to be briefed first and coordinate. We have
- 44:17Speaker 1: to coordinate this raid with the White House. Now, this
- 44:20Speaker 1: is pretty damaging stuff. And then they're talking about going
- 44:24Speaker 1: ahead and they said the events dependent on the timeline
- 44:26Speaker 1: of President Biden, his brief his decision, and the White
- 44:31Speaker 1: House Council coordinating with us. And all these documents are
- 44:36Speaker 1: there now, so it absolute proof Joe Biden was behind
- 44:39Speaker 1: the raid. Personally lied about it. Hey, speaking of the
- 44:43Speaker 1: state of the Union, the President didn't mention Iran much.
- 44:46Speaker 1: It was briefly, and he didn't really make the case
- 44:50Speaker 1: for attacking Iran militarily, for actual war with Iran. Now,
- 44:57Speaker 1: some people think that means he's not not planning to
- 45:01Speaker 1: actually do anything, that all of this they're negotiating right
- 45:05Speaker 1: now as we speak with Iran, they're in talks negotiations.
- 45:09Speaker 1: So some people think this whole of assembling that whole
- 45:12Speaker 1: military strike force right off the coast, talking about it
- 45:15Speaker 1: is just to speed up the negotiation. That if he
- 45:18Speaker 1: was really really planning to attack and do something, he
- 45:22Speaker 1: would have made the case a little more in the
- 45:25Speaker 1: State of the Union. But who knows. Who knows? You
- 45:28Speaker 1: can never tell with Trump. You can never be absolutely sure. Yeah,
- 45:34Speaker 1: you can never be positive. Hey, you know about to
- 45:37Speaker 1: Hunter College, this racist professor saying this terrible racist stuff. No,
- 45:43Speaker 1: they're having some kind of big Zoom meeting, and you
- 45:47Speaker 1: got to be so careful with Zoom. I don't know,
- 45:50Speaker 1: it's the most dangerous thing in the world if you're
- 45:52Speaker 1: not careful. Remember Jeffrey Tubin during the pandemic lockdown, they
- 45:56Speaker 1: had to meet every day on Zoom and they find
- 45:58Speaker 1: him pleasuring himself and he doesn't realize the cameras on
- 46:05Speaker 1: Jeffrey Tuban, the great CNN legal analyst, And it's one
- 46:09Speaker 1: of these zooms with like twenty CNN people their morning
- 46:12Speaker 1: conference and everybody's at home, and they notice that he
- 46:16Speaker 1: has unbuckled his pants and pulled them down and is
- 46:19Speaker 1: pleasuring himself. And I don't know what he thought that.
- 46:24Speaker 1: I guess he thought he shut the camera off. I
- 46:28Speaker 1: guess he thought he muted himself, but he didn't. And
- 46:30Speaker 1: they're all watching this whole thing. And remember he was
- 46:34Speaker 1: on every day. He was a big part of CNN,
- 46:36Speaker 1: and then he was gone. Obviously because of that. He
- 46:40Speaker 1: has come back here and there, but that was the
- 46:43Speaker 1: end of him. So they're doing this zoom thing and
- 46:46Speaker 1: there's something about a black student is talking about her
- 46:48Speaker 1: schools not very good or the problems with her school,
- 46:51Speaker 1: and this professor, this professor makes the most ugly racist comments,
- 46:56Speaker 1: something about, well a black kid wouldn't know if he
- 46:58Speaker 1: had a bad school too, dumb, unbelievable racist stuff. Now
- 47:02Speaker 1: listen to this. I guess she thinks she's muted, but
- 47:05Speaker 1: she's not.
- 47:06Speaker 11: Another important place is for me is our speech broken.
- 47:11Speaker 11: I've been receiving the speech services since first grade. I
- 47:14Speaker 11: have said, go into on Friday. He delivers lessons and
- 47:19Speaker 11: helps us fit those skills into our lessons.
- 47:22Speaker 5: Is that like there.
- 47:24Speaker 1: You don't know they're in a bad school.
- 47:27Speaker 11: I mean the King said it like if you trained
- 47:30Speaker 11: a black person well enough, they'll know who use the back.
- 47:32Speaker 5: You don't have to tell them anymore.
- 47:34Speaker 1: They also, what you're saying is absolutely hearable. Here. You've
- 47:39Speaker 1: got to stop Alison Friedman as uh As what's his
- 47:46Speaker 1: name said to God, it won't be seeing her anymore. So,
- 47:49Speaker 1: I mean that's instant firing. I mean, no excuse for that,
- 47:52Speaker 1: no defense for it. Absolutely ridiculous. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero is the number. Eight
- 48:01Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten. Get hiss and
- 48:06Speaker 1: access to Mark by setting a freeset in the iHeartRadio
- 48:10Speaker 1: app for his live show and his podcast.
- 48:13Speaker 6: Now back to the Mark Simone show on wor.
- 48:18Speaker 1: Well, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 48:22Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number, and let's go to
- 48:25Speaker 1: Bob in Connecticut. Bob, how you doing.
- 48:28Speaker 12: Mark, I'm doing just fine. I would like to say
- 48:31Speaker 12: that I think Donald Trump has surpassed P. T. Barnham
- 48:38Speaker 12: as the great showman he was, and the show he
- 48:43Speaker 12: put on the other night was the greatest show on earth.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Well, it was very good. Not easy to talk for
- 48:48Speaker 1: two hours and they'll hold everybody's attention. But he did
- 48:51Speaker 1: longest day of the union ever two hours. I think
- 48:55Speaker 1: that we didn't get the final number. I think it's
- 48:57Speaker 1: about thirty six million.
- 48:58Speaker 9: Side, I'm not a minute afore.
- 49:01Speaker 1: No, it was pretty good. It held there was attention.
- 49:04Speaker 1: Now you go along deliberately for one its strategy. Normally
- 49:09Speaker 1: the rebuttal from the Democrats, the rebuttal speech starts about
- 49:12Speaker 1: ten to fifteen, but he went really long to about eleven.
- 49:17Speaker 1: So the rebuttal didn't happen about eleven fifteen, which means
- 49:20Speaker 1: very few people saw it. Most people are gone by
- 49:22Speaker 1: eleven o'clock. They want to go to bed or do
- 49:24Speaker 1: something else. But let's go to Erin in Indianapolis. Erin,
- 49:28Speaker 1: how you doing, Good morning, Mark. I want to talk
- 49:32Speaker 1: about this raid on mar A Lago.
- 49:34Speaker 5: Yes, well, the.
- 49:36Speaker 9: Supposedly they're firing all the FBI agents that were involved
- 49:40Speaker 9: in that, but then those agents involved were.
- 49:43Speaker 5: Saying they had no choice, they have just following orders.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Yeah, well you could use the Mark Kelly rule. You're
- 49:49Speaker 1: not supposed to obey illegal orders. And it was a
- 49:53Speaker 1: very questionable raid. But I don't know, you got to
- 49:59Speaker 1: I understand what you saying. You don't want to fire
- 50:00Speaker 1: the guys just following orders. But I have a feeling
- 50:04Speaker 1: it was such a sleazy, dirty, ugly, unethical raid. A
- 50:09Speaker 1: feeling that the Merck Garland and Jack Smith and Christopher Ray,
- 50:13Speaker 1: they probably hand picked some agents close to them to
- 50:16Speaker 1: go do this. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 50:19Speaker 1: how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 50:23Speaker 8: It was interesting seeing the eighty year old Vince McMahon
- 50:27Speaker 8: driving like a knucklehead. But down here in Florida, that's
- 50:31Speaker 8: the way they drive, these eighty year olds. They do
- 50:34Speaker 8: honishing that anybody gets anywhere.
- 50:36Speaker 7: Alive with the way.
- 50:37Speaker 1: I thought those old people in Florida drove real slow.
- 50:41Speaker 13: They drive slow, but dangerously.
- 50:44Speaker 7: You know.
- 50:44Speaker 13: Try getting on a highway and the guy's doing twenty
- 50:47Speaker 13: five miles an hour because you know, and it's just
- 50:49Speaker 13: you know, and they're expecting the semi truck in that
- 50:52Speaker 13: lane to get over for them. It's it's terrible, and
- 50:56Speaker 13: they you know, they don't nobody knows when to go.
- 50:57Speaker 13: They get to a four way intersection and all they
- 50:59Speaker 13: do is way to each other.
- 51:00Speaker 7: No you go, No you go, No you go.
- 51:02Speaker 8: It's like the old Chip and Dale Chipmunk.
- 51:04Speaker 13: Cartoons from Warner Brothers. And they're awful and it's so bad.
- 51:09Speaker 13: You know, Google Maps as a new part of it
- 51:12Speaker 13: that tells them why they went to where they're going.
- 51:17Speaker 1: Well, you know, for all these eighty year olds down there,
- 51:20Speaker 1: nothing personal, but most of your people in Florida got
- 51:22Speaker 1: nothing to do. You're net work and you're retired, you
- 51:24Speaker 1: got nowhere to go. There seems to be a hell
- 51:26Speaker 1: of a lot of traffic for people that have nowhere
- 51:28Speaker 1: to go and don't need to be driving.
- 51:29Speaker 7: It's so true. You couldn't.
- 51:32Speaker 8: It's amazing.
- 51:33Speaker 13: They're just wandering around on their cell phones doing everything
- 51:36Speaker 13: but driving.
- 51:37Speaker 1: And where are you in Florida.
- 51:40Speaker 13: I'm in Port Saint Lucy. It's about forty miles go
- 51:42Speaker 13: through the Palm Beaches.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Oh okay, so you got you got the East coast.
- 51:47Speaker 1: You got a lot of traffic right when you go
- 51:48Speaker 1: to Palm Beach. Traffic is brutal.
- 51:50Speaker 13: Right, yes, and Port Saint Lucy has become the largest
- 51:53Speaker 13: I think it's one of the largest cities in the state.
- 51:56Speaker 13: Now it's growing exponentially in just the short time I've
- 51:59Speaker 13: been here. The population is booming like crazy, and none
- 52:03Speaker 13: of them can drive.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Mike, thanks for calling. You know, it's
- 52:06Speaker 1: funny if you study the history of Florida and you're
- 52:08Speaker 1: back the fifties, Miami. Everybody was in Miami, that's it.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Then in the sixties and they start moving up to
- 52:14Speaker 1: Fort Lauderdale. Then Fort Lauderdale got very busy. Then in
- 52:18Speaker 1: the seventies they start all moving to Boca Ratan, which
- 52:21Speaker 1: is north. They keep moving north, and then it was
- 52:23Speaker 1: Boka Ratan. Now Palm Beach became like the hottest place.
- 52:26Speaker 1: Then well then now they start moving to Jupiter, that's
- 52:30Speaker 1: north of pombe Now they're all in Jupiter. That became
- 52:33Speaker 1: really busy. Now Portland Saint Lucie about to become the
- 52:35Speaker 1: biggest sea. They keep going north. At the rate they're going,
- 52:40Speaker 1: they're gonna be back here in New York in about
- 52:42Speaker 1: twenty years. They'll if they keep going to the next
- 52:44Speaker 1: city north, they'll be back. Let's go to Anthony and Edison. Anthony,
- 52:48Speaker 1: how you doing, Hey.
- 52:50Speaker 14: Are doing Mark, great job as usual. Hey, we need
- 52:52Speaker 14: to get Trump to a zing old helicopter Mikey shuttle here.
- 52:56Speaker 14: You know, she's got to get their priority street. See,
- 52:58Speaker 14: Trump's gotta tell her. Hey, and so they getting the
- 53:00Speaker 14: way of my ice agent is doing the job that
- 53:03Speaker 14: they're propably supposed to be doing. Why don't you just
- 53:05Speaker 14: I'm promising you your Jersey residents a tax breaker of
- 53:08Speaker 14: like twenty thirty or forty by the time your first
- 53:11Speaker 14: damn term is over.
- 53:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, he's studying New Jersey government. It's besides
- 53:15Speaker 1: all the corruption, there's just so much waste in there.
- 53:18Speaker 1: They're just wasting money. Your tax bill could be cutting
- 53:20Speaker 1: half in one second in New Jersey. Just stop all
- 53:24Speaker 1: the waste and the fraud and the bloat. It's so easy.
- 53:28Speaker 1: You don't even need Elon Musk. Just anybody, any accountant,
- 53:31Speaker 1: could come in and do it in about five minutes
- 53:33Speaker 1: and then cut the tax bill in half. Let's go
- 53:36Speaker 1: to Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing?
- 53:38Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark? Can you hear me better? Now?
- 53:40Speaker 1: Yeah? Now you're good?
- 53:42Speaker 7: All right, I'm believe it or not. In my bedroom,
- 53:44Speaker 7: I have an old fashioned hard wired landline that when
- 53:49Speaker 7: all else fails, it works. Mark. Yesterday you were speaking
- 53:53Speaker 7: to that gentleman from Jersey, from Long Swamp, and he
- 53:56Speaker 7: was talking about wild animals near his how and everything.
- 54:01Speaker 1: And he has a wood stove to heat him hit
- 54:03Speaker 1: his place.
- 54:05Speaker 7: Speaking of possums at night, I have raccoons and possums
- 54:10Speaker 7: that come in my yard now the possum, Yeah, square business, Mark,
- 54:16Speaker 7: I have. By the way, they were introduced the possums
- 54:20Speaker 7: by uh uh Mayor Bloomberg because he thought they would
- 54:24Speaker 7: control the mice and rat population. Mice and rats one
- 54:29Speaker 7: run much faster than possums. They come in my yard
- 54:32Speaker 7: at night looking for dead things to eat because they're
- 54:35Speaker 7: known as the garbage clean exactly. Mark. Speaking about the
- 54:43Speaker 7: snowball of salt on the cops, Uh, Mark, you could
- 54:48Speaker 7: actually if you get hit in the eye with an
- 54:50Speaker 7: ice ball or snowball, you could get a detached rat.
- 54:53Speaker 7: You could get premature cataracts and everything that is bad news.
- 54:58Speaker 7: You could you could actually lose your your eye.
- 55:00Speaker 1: And I remember years ago there was that football fight
- 55:04Speaker 1: that was two football teams. The fans were thrown at
- 55:06Speaker 1: the other team and they hit a coach and blinded him.
- 55:09Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 55:09Speaker 7: Not because when I recently, I had to have cataract surgery.
- 55:13Speaker 7: And before that, you in the doctor's office, they show
- 55:17Speaker 7: you like an informational video of how cataracts for me,
- 55:21Speaker 7: either from old age or there was a woman who
- 55:24Speaker 7: was a young woman and she was playing volleyball and
- 55:28Speaker 7: she got hit in the face with the volleyball and
- 55:32Speaker 7: she got a premature cataract and they had to do
- 55:35Speaker 7: surgery on her. Mark. I believe that if another incident
- 55:40Speaker 7: happens with the police and Mayor Montdami does him back
- 55:44Speaker 7: the cops like he did this last time, Jessica Tesh
- 55:48Speaker 7: has to give it up because she's gonna he's a
- 55:52Speaker 7: great person, Mark, but she's gonna lose the credibility with
- 55:56Speaker 7: the men and women in Blue.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Well, the men and women blue are too thrilled with
- 55:59Speaker 1: it to begin with. But that's another story. But good Vincent,
- 56:02Speaker 1: great call. When we come back. Oh, actually normally be
- 56:06Speaker 1: Jimmy Fayla every Thursday. He's with us, but he's not
- 56:09Speaker 1: feeling well. He's got that thing that's going around that everybody.
- 56:13Speaker 1: So it doesn't sound too good today. But we'll take
- 56:16Speaker 1: some calls. If you want to call, we'll take some
- 56:17Speaker 1: calls next eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Well,
- 56:22Speaker 1: mister New York, he's on the case the Mark Simone
- 56:25Speaker 1: Show on seven ten woor He Normally Jimmy Fala would
- 56:32Speaker 1: be with us on Thursdays. He's not feeling well. We
- 56:34Speaker 1: caught that thing that's going around, so he'll be with
- 56:36Speaker 1: us next week. But we've got lots to talk about
- 56:39Speaker 1: and we'll take some calls. We don't have to have
- 56:40Speaker 1: a guest all the time, you know, you know, some
- 56:43Speaker 1: shows get too crazy with guests. Every segment is a guest.
- 56:46Speaker 1: There are some shows that's all they have our guests.
- 56:48Speaker 1: They start the show by telling you they're gonna have
- 56:51Speaker 1: this person, then we're gonna have this person, then this person,
- 56:53Speaker 1: and that person. They have like twenty seven guests on
- 56:55Speaker 1: every show, totally dependent on guests. There's really no show.
- 56:58Speaker 1: It's just a series of guests. Remember Russ Rush. Remember
- 57:02Speaker 1: Rush never had a guest on never ever, ever three hours,
- 57:06Speaker 1: never had a guest on. Maybe once every four years
- 57:09Speaker 1: he would have a guest on, and that would be
- 57:12Speaker 1: when presidential election was going on. He would have President
- 57:16Speaker 1: Bush was on once. I think Donald Trump, I think
- 57:19Speaker 1: he had JD. Vansom, but at election time he'd have
- 57:22Speaker 1: the presidential candidate. But outside of that, never ever, ever,
- 57:25Speaker 1: any guests AMC movie theaters. They're shutting down over two
- 57:31Speaker 1: hundred theaters. You know, less and less people go to
- 57:36Speaker 1: a movie theater anymore. I mean, the pandemic really finished
- 57:38Speaker 1: movie theaters because you know, a lot of people start streaming.
- 57:42Speaker 1: You don't have to go to a theater. You can
- 57:44Speaker 1: wash it home. Then during the pandemic, nobody could go
- 57:46Speaker 1: to a theater for about eight months. Everybody had to
- 57:48Speaker 1: watch movies at home, and they got pretty used to it.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Even if you weren't a streamer. You learned how to stream,
- 57:53Speaker 1: you signed up. And then after all of that, why
- 57:56Speaker 1: go back to a movie theater. Then I give AMC credit.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Go to some of their theaters. They've really fixed them up.
- 58:02Speaker 1: They got these beautiful recliner chairs, they got great food
- 58:06Speaker 1: and buffets and all that. But you could have that
- 58:10Speaker 1: at home. You got whatever chair you want at home,
- 58:13Speaker 1: whatever you want to eat, you could have at home. Hey,
- 58:16Speaker 1: this is a Jano Lieber the subways. He's the subway
- 58:19Speaker 1: MTA chairman. And you gotta blame Kathy Hogles. She runs
- 58:22Speaker 1: the MTA but they are just crazier and crazier. They
- 58:26Speaker 1: just waste money. They overpay like crazy. Subway budget is ridiculous,
- 58:31Speaker 1: service stinks, and again they overpay like crazy sort of
- 58:34Speaker 1: make up for that. It's just one scheme after another.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Congestion pricing. The latest one they want to they're gonna
- 58:43Speaker 1: start running commercials in the subway. Audio commercials. You're gonna
- 58:48Speaker 1: hear them in the stations. They'll be thirty second audio commercials.
- 58:51Speaker 1: They're gonna play them at seventy five decibels. That's like
- 58:55Speaker 1: a little louder than the train announcements, so you won't
- 58:58Speaker 1: be able to get away from as you're standing on
- 58:59Speaker 1: the platform, and sometimes you know you got to wait
- 59:01Speaker 1: on that platform twenty minutes. You're gonna hear a lot
- 59:04Speaker 1: of commercials. You think we run a lot of commercials. Wait,
- 59:07Speaker 1: unless gen O Lieber gets going with this. It's all
- 59:09Speaker 1: for revenue, and it's it's really really stupid. I mean,
- 59:14Speaker 1: they do have the ads on the posters and you know,
- 59:18Speaker 1: along the walls. That should be enough. But now they're
- 59:21Speaker 1: gonna run audio ads. Hey, speaking of that, Mamdani an
- 59:25Speaker 1: AOC team up to do a commercial, a TV commercial
- 59:29Speaker 1: it's running all over the place online and they're getting
- 59:33Speaker 1: a lot of flak for it. It's AOC and mamdani
- 59:36Speaker 1: and the point of the commercial is to tell illegal aliens,
- 59:38Speaker 1: illegal immigrants, illegal to sign up for free daycare from
- 59:44Speaker 1: New York City. Now, obviously it's not free. We're paying
- 59:46Speaker 1: for it. The taxpayers have to pay for it. But
- 59:48Speaker 1: it's another example of taking money out of people's paychecks
- 59:52Speaker 1: to support illegal aliens who should be taking it away,
- 59:59Speaker 1: taken out of the country he deported. They're here illegally.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Not only they do this commercial, it's mostly AOC. Mam
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Donegane hasn't get a word in with AOCI, but it's
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: in Spanish. Take a listener Espanol, No not a sin.
- 1:00:16Speaker 15: Sue ista com fiendo tres or cuatro midvent states who
- 1:00:21Speaker 15: stept bralos gratis in a programmer king the tress or
- 1:00:25Speaker 15: pre kinder tell us you that deva York perro debrestrase
- 1:00:30Speaker 15: lent de febrero ques while quill padre de la familia
- 1:00:36Speaker 15: Delava York seen in portarso ocupacion in grezo or estatus migratoriosis.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: It sounds good. It's uh got a nice sound to it,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: but it's horrible. It's them, them telling illegals to sign
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: up for free daycare from New York City. If you're
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: a wine drink you might find this interesting. The wine
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: business and the wineries are slowly dying. It's a big problem,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: even in California, but they have some of the great
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: wineries in America. Several of them are actually shutting down,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: and several of the top wineries that have shut down
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: said it's slowly getting to the end of the wine business.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: The problem is habits are changing. Younger people don't like
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: wine gen z gen X, they're not big wine drinkers.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: They don't drink it. So the wine industry is totally
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: dependent on baby boomers, the older people. They're the only
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: ones left to drink wine, and apparently that group sales
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: are way way down now. Some people say, well, they're
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: trying to be healthier, so they're cutting back on one.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: But here's one of the big winery owners. He said,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: that's not the problem. He said, when you're depending on
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: baby boomers, they start dying year after year, more than die,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: and those are your only customers left. So they got
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: a big problem. Younger people do not like wine. You know,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: whenever you see younger people out, there's no wine. They're
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: drinking those espresso martinis and all kinds of stuff. They
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: do not drink wine anymore. And you know, people that
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: drink wine drive you nuts. You ever go to somebody
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: who's like a wine expert, you order what you want,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: the wine expert calls that guy over that's Somalier, whatever
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: the hell that guy, and then they start discussing for
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: twenty minutes, or tell me about the chateau bub Baba,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: tell me about this, and then they discuss it, and
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: after about ten minutes you just yell at will you
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: pick something already? Well, I have to find it. I
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: thought you're a wine expert, you should know all this.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Well I can't know them all. It's just there should
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: be like a time limit, like in a chess game.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: If you're going to start talking to this guy about
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: the wine, two minute timer. As soon as it goes off,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: you have to order something. Anyway, Let's take some calls.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Let's go to Dennis and Yonkers. Dennis, how you doing?
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: They WHINEO, this show is great, Mark, Why are you
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: going to interview Steve from Manhattan? I mean Will Waite.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Never absolutely never Lets let's go to Mill in New Jersey. Bill,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 1:03:11Speaker 7: Thank you?
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: Mark at President and Trump State of.
- 1:03:14Speaker 13: The Union Democrats when they would.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Not see your phone is cutting out. But I gotta
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: be honest, it didn't sound that interesting anyway.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: So.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. Let's go to Joe in the Elmwood Park. Joe,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark, kudos to Vincent. Uh, there was a
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: question the other day of a president was born in
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: New Jersey. It was Grover Cleveland. He was the first
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: first president to have a non consecutive presidency twenty two
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: and twenty four like Trump, didy five or four?
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Very good. And do you know where in New Jersey
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: he lived?
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: Uh, some little town, Grover Mill or something like that.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: I know it sounds like War of the Worlds. And
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: did you know that our governor got booed once he
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: went to the Devil's Game?
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I could figure. Well listen, I mean, you're
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: in New Jersey, governor, she's taxing, You're like crazy. Hey.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame they announced the nominees.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: You know, it's a big problem with this Rock and
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: Roll Hall of Fame. It's like, how long is it now?
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Thirty years. You know, after all these years you've nominated everybody,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: there's nobody left. All the big names are already in there,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: so you're down to well, let's see Phil Collins. All right.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I can see Phil Collins. That's a good Luther Vandres.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I love Luther Vandres. But I don't know is that
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: rock and roll is even the rock and Roll Hall
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: of Fame? Great stuff, but rock and roll, I don't know.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Are you gonna hear that on Q one zero four?
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I don't think so. Lauren Hill is in the rock
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: and Roll Hall of Fame, So I don't know. What
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: can you do now, Phil Collins. I could see Melissa
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Ethridge rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but I know
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: you put her in the same category as the Beatles
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: or the Rolling Stones. I don't know. But again it's
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: not their fault. There's just no Thirty forty years later,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: you're running out of people. Hey, don't forget coming up
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: at noon, Buck Sexton Clay Travis Buck has a new
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: book out. He'll be on the show with us tomorrow
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: to talk about it. And then you got the most
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity at three,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Jesse Kelly at six and every night now nine o'clock
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Jimmy Fail a great show. That's all here coming up
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: on seven to ten WR.
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: Marximo the Issues you really care about on seven ten wor.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Well. As we speak, they're holding the hearings in Chappaquah,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: the Epstein hearings. The committee investigating is interviewing Hillary Clinton.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: They have rented the Performing Arts Center. Apparently Hillary is
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: telling them she doesn't recall meeting this. What you say
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: his name was Jeffrey Epstein, Huh, doesn't ring a bell.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: She doesn't. She's actually going to try to get away
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: with this. She doesn't recall meeting him. Now. Of course,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: if you look at the pictures of Chelsea's wedding, see
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Gallaine Maxwell sitting right there in the front. But she also,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: apparently before going in, really attacked the committee investigating the
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Epstein stuff. She said it's partisan political theater. She said,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: this oversight Committee's investigation is quote, an abdication of duty
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: and an insult to the American people. Now, some might
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: say she's squealing like a stuck pig, but also, hey, Democrats,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: tell us this is very important to investigate this Epstein stuff.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Wasn't it really important to get the Epstein files out,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: investigate get to the bottom of everything. Well, Hillary and
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Bill Clinton are all through the Epstein files. They're tangled
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: up with him business wise, money wise. It was Epstein
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: that helped Fountain Fund and founded the Clinton Global Initiative
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: and the Clinton Foundation. So they'll be out of there
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: pretty soon, and then I'm sure she'll lash out again.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: The committee is going to have a pre conference after
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: it's over, and there is video. I don't know if
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: they'll release it or I would imagine we'll get to
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: see some of it, but it's going to look like
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: those Benghazi hearings. With that, what difference does it make?
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: So kind of attitude, Hey, we're out of time. I'll
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: be back tomorrow ten to noon. Don't go anywhere. Buck
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: and Clay are just ahead right after the news at
