  kickbacks, and acts of campaign fraud abuse in Boston,

  Washington, New York, Chicago, and Florida.

  There are also violations of state ethics or of the Minnesota

  House Ethics rules regarding colleges for speeches she gave

  while she was in partial control of their budgets as a member of
• 0:41
  the hot House Higher Education Finance Committee in both 2017
• 0:47
  and 2018. She was found guilty of the
• 0:50
  violations by the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board 3 weeks
• 0:53
  ago in order to return those funds on June 6th.
• 0:57
  Miss Omar appears to be a serial career criminal and should not
• 1:01
  have access to our nation's highest secrets and
• 1:04
  intelligence. That is why I'm calling on our
• 1:06
  Congresswoman Angie Craig, to protect both our national
• 1:09
  security and our respect of the rule of law.

  Tax fraud, immigration fraud, student loan fraud, perjury,
• 1:20
  bigamy, kickbacks and campaign abuse fraud from the East Coast
• 1:27
  to the Mississippi River. If those charges have been
• 1:32
  brought against Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, the Star
• 1:35
  Tribune would not have said on Sunday that she was attempting
• 1:39
  to, quote, skirt the law and then follow it up with a front
• 1:44
  page story the next day on a pie in the sky proposal that had
• 1:47
  zero chances of becoming law. Minnesota deserves better.

  America demands more. I'm presenting you with a copy

  of my letter and just a sampling of the materials available to

  you on these topics, and we'll take your questions.

  Here's the sampling of materials that I have offered you today,

  Anybody who would like them. There's many more than this

  available all over social media and imprinted publicity and

  elsewhere. So with that, ladies and

  gentlemen, I'll take your questions.

  Yes, Representative, why are you asking Angie Craig,

  Congresswoman Craig, to open this ethics investigation?

  Unless I'm missing something, I think she's on the
• 2:31
  Transportation and Agriculture Committee.

  She's my congresswoman. I'm from the second District.
• 2:36
  That seems to me to be the best place to ask your elected
• 2:40
  representative to represent you in forming an ethics
• 2:44
  investigation. Oh, so are you, I mean.
• 2:46
  As as individual citizen of Minnesota, are you doing this as
• 2:51
  representative? Well, I'm doing it as both I'm a
• 2:53
  constituent of hers, and I am asking her as a constituent and
• 2:59
  presenting it here today as a state representative, but asking
• 3:02
  her as a constituent to bring forward an ethics investigation.

  I could ask Nancy Pelosi, but she doesn't represent me.

  Congresswoman Craig does. Are you only allowed to ask
• 3:15
  someone who represents you? The reason I'm asking is, I
• 3:18
  mean, you know, the party of the congresswoman and I would assume
• 3:23
  the chances of it happening in three slim, Why not?

  It's the Republican Congress. Congress.

  Person Well, I mean, you could ask any member of Congress.

  Angie Craig is my U.S. House of Representative, my US
• 3:38
  Congresswoman. And because of that, she is the
• 3:42
  one that made most sense to me to ask to represent me and
• 3:45
  represent this pursuit of justice and and respect for the
• 3:50
  rule of law. And analysts will say this is
• 3:52
  just an attempt to embarrass her or put her in a tough position
• 3:56
  as opposed to just getting the job done by going and asking a
• 3:59
  Republican congressperson to to pursue.

  Well, this is not about Congresswoman Craig.
• 4:05
  It's not about about Republican or Democrat.
• 4:08
  It's about an Ave. for me to bring forward these questions
• 4:14
  and get it in front of the US House of Representatives.

  What is the issue? Requests for investigations?
• 4:20
  Does Congress respond to them? I, I believe some of them they
• 4:25
  do. Some they find it superficial
• 4:28
  and don't. I haven't really dug into that
• 4:30
  myself, but I, I expect and I've heard that they receive a lot of
• 4:35
  requests. Certainly I don't know that many
• 4:40
  of them, or all of them, contain the level of importance or the
• 4:47
  level of detail and information available that this already
• 4:52
  does. Are you?

  Expecting more information to come out?

  Related to some of the questions you raised, I am.

  As a matter of fact, I've talked to one of the people, David
• 5:06
  Steinberg, who has done a lot of the work.

  You will see his blog posts in here that have the social media
• 5:11
  that some of you in the Minnesota media here have
• 5:14
  referred to. And if I can be critical,
• 5:18
  somewhat dismissed because it wasn't something that you found
• 5:21
  but something that he found. Incidentally, as soon as David
• 5:25
  and Scott Johnson and Priya did their work, and I know this for
• 5:31
  sure with David, he he took the screen captures of these social
• 5:35
  media accounts and then formed A blog post, offered
• 5:39
  Representative Omar comment before he published the blog
• 5:43
  post. Heard nothing back from her,
• 5:45
  published the post. And shortly after the post was
• 5:48
  published either, depending on the situation, either per image
• 5:54
  on social media or Ahmed Elmi's image was removed from their
• 5:59
  respective social media accounts.

  And I think that's important for you and the media to note as you
• 6:06
  try to discern what motives are and where the truth lies.

  What's the, what's the end game here?
• 6:14
  Well, I think the end game is to find answers.
• 6:17
  The answers have not been pursued.
• 6:21
  We're starting to see them be pursued.
• 6:23
  The national media is really starting to kick it into gear.
• 6:26
  I think the Star Tribune for their effort recently, although
• 6:29
  it was, it was not the, the level of, of inquiry that many
• 6:35
  people wanted and expected. It was a great start.
• 6:38
  And so I think the end game is for us to bring about, bring
• 6:46
  about visibility to this in a way that the people of Minnesota
• 6:52
  and the people of America can find answers to what appears to
• 6:55
  be a sham marriage that Representative Omar has with or
• 7:01
  have with Omar Ahmed Almi from 2009 to 2017.

  Should Congresswoman Craig? Dismiss or ignore your your
• 7:11
  letter. What's your next Stephen?

  There were any any other plans, any other attempts to maybe
• 7:17
  refer this on to other agencies or officials?
• 7:20
  Well, one idea that that I heard and was actually from the
• 7:23
  Democrat, and by the way, I've heard from Democrat colleagues
• 7:27
  in the House that are thanking me for my efforts to pursue this
• 7:31
  because they have the same concerns I do.

  I want you to know that I'm not going to name names, but one of
• 7:38
  those Democrats offered to me that what represent then
• 7:43
  Representative Ellison did when he was running for office last
• 7:46
  year. And there was questions about
• 7:48
  his situation with his wife as he offered, you know what I will
• 7:52
  ask for an ethics investigation upon myself.
• 7:56
  And I think maybe a call from the media, a call from me or a
• 8:00
  call from someone to say represent Omar.
• 8:03
  If you don't think this, that these things that there's,
• 8:06
  there's problems here, do as your predecessor did, ask for an
• 8:11
  investigation of yourself and clear your name.
• 8:14
  I think that would be a great inquiry.

  And the theory is that the sham marriages needed to help him or
• 8:20
  her. We're not completely sure.
• 8:24
  You know, there's a, there's a bunch of I mean, you look at the
• 8:26
  tax fraud probable cause that exists from the June 6th
• 8:31
  campaign finance stuff. I mean, probable cause is right
• 8:34
  there for tax fraud, federal and state.
• 8:38
  You can't deny that, but I think you need to go in and first of
• 8:44
  all, find out more about the marriage and start to get more
• 8:47
  people involved in digging through this stuff.
• 8:51
  The questions about people brought up questions about
• 8:54
  immigration. Did it somehow help Ahmed Elmi
• 9:00
  or someone come here illegally or easier or get special
• 9:06
  preference? There's questions about FAFSA.

  Incidentally, the marriage between Ahmed Almi and
• 9:16
  Representative Omar occurred in 2009.
• 9:20
  As I understand, that was the first year that they both
• 9:22
  attended North Dakota State together.
• 9:24
  And during that two or three or four years at North Dakota
• 9:29
  State, there were at least 2 instances at two different
• 9:33
  addresses that represent Omar Ahmad Hirsi and Ahmad Almi all
• 9:38
  lived at the same address. I think that should be
• 9:41
  interesting. I can't recall there were two
• 9:46
  different ones in two different points in time.
• 9:49
  So evidently they may have moved to a different street address or
• 9:52
  something. Representative has this have you
• 9:54
  contacted a representative Craig let her know that this was
• 9:57
  coming or? I have not and I haven't talked

  to represent Omar about it either.

  I know that was a question last year when I brought up the fact
• 10:05
  that Representative Omar was taking money from three
• 10:08
  different house, three different state higher education
• 10:12
  institutions directly in in conflict with Minnesota House
• 10:15
  rules, which she eventually then returned those thousands of
• 10:20
  dollars to them realizing that she was wrong and doing that.
• 10:25
  But they I was asked by the media last year that very same
• 10:27
  question. Let me ask you, you know, I know
• 10:30
  that at one point the the then US Attorney Andy Louver made it
• 10:34
  clear in a statement that he he was not investing.
• 10:37
  The federal government was not investigating Ilhan Omar.
• 10:41
  Also, I believe that the state Campaign finance board has the
• 10:45
  ability to refer items to criminal jurisdictions.
• 10:52
  Obviously the investigators, the IRS, the federal government,
• 10:57
  they're pretty aggressive and they're pretty good.
• 10:59
  It doesn't appear that they're on this at all.

  Does that say anything to you? Well, the Campaign Finance Board
• 11:08
  does do criminal referrals about campaign finance related items.
• 11:12
  And if you'll read the Campaign Finance Board's findings and
• 11:16
  orders from June 6th, you'll realize as they form their
• 11:20
  context out for it that they limited their approach to items
• 11:25
  that concern campaign finance and didn't.
• 11:27
  As a matter of fact, they didn't even see the tax forms.
• 11:30
  Right. But they didn't feel that the
• 11:31
  the campaign finance portion of this reached a criminal element
• 11:35
  in their opinion. Well, she broke the law and
• 11:38
  she's paying the money back. It's she broke.
• 11:40
  She broke the law. Right, right.
• 11:41
  But I guess I'm, I'm just wondering if it, it, it appears
• 11:46
  that people who do have access, obviously US attorney, the
• 11:49
  campaign finance board that regulate camera for items to
• 11:52
  criminal editing or criminal investigators they've had access
• 11:57
  to and they haven't done that. Yeah.

  I mean, are they remiss in their actions?

  I think. I think we.

  I think we all are. I think they are.

  I think we all need to pursue justice and truth here, and

  the question of perjury. This isn't the best copy, but

  this is Representative Omar's. I'll just call it because it's

  called application for an order for service by alternate means.

  So as I understand it, Representative Omar approached
• 12:34
  the court and tried to get the divorce in 2017 from Ahmed Elmi
• 12:38
  without actually having him there.
• 12:40
  And in order to do that, she testified under perjury twice in
• 12:44
  here that she hadn't seen or heard of Ahmed Elmi since 2011.

  And you'll find in your packet too.

  I still struggle with her last name.

  Had this brought forward, as I understand 2016.

  This is the affidavit of service of the eviction notice for Ahmed

  Noor, said Elmi in 2012, a year after she said she had last

  heard from him less than 10 blocks from where she lived in

  Minneapolis. Representative, you say that our

  national security is at stake. Would you outline from
• 13:39
  Minnesotans and you're making some out some allegations in
• 13:42
  other areas, but specifically how is our national security has
• 13:48
  stayed clear? If you interview the if you talk
• 13:50
  to the police, they will tell you that a person's past
• 13:54
  behavior is the best indicator of their future behavior.

  Best predictor of their future behavior is their past behavior.
