- 3:08Speaker 2: Angie Gillenwater from the Cannaal Charleston Humaine Association with this
- 3:11Speaker 2: week's Adopt Me Please Pet of the Week. Good morning, Angie.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Good morning. Why's from New Jersey the Adopt Me Please
- 3:18Speaker 5: pet of the Week.
- 3:19Speaker 2: So why are you in New Jersey?
- 3:23Speaker 5: So there is a pet cot in Middletown, New Jersey
- 3:25Speaker 5: that has a whole adoption center in it. So I
- 3:29Speaker 5: transported some of West Virginia's finest brown dogs up here
- 3:33Speaker 5: to be adopted and infiltrate New Jersey.
- 3:37Speaker 2: They need a little bit more West Virginia culture there
- 3:39Speaker 2: in Jersey.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Right, correct, they do?
- 3:42Speaker 2: All right? So I've never been to New Jersey. Okay,
- 3:44Speaker 2: just so you know, I've never been there. However, I've
- 3:46Speaker 2: got friends that are from New Jersey and they tell
- 3:49Speaker 2: me that Jersey cuisine is actually pretty good. For the
- 3:52Speaker 2: pizzas and the subs and so on and so forth.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Have you had any anything good to eat since you've
- 3:56Speaker 2: been there?
- 3:58Speaker 5: I have been eating great every day that I've been here.
- 4:01Speaker 5: I've been here since Monday, and I'm kind of like
- 4:03Speaker 5: I miss home, but I do not miss the food
- 4:05Speaker 5: from home.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Are what's the best thing you've had? What's the best
- 4:07Speaker 2: thing you've had?
- 4:09Speaker 5: We had a pretty good I don't know what Jersey
- 4:11Speaker 5: does for their bagels, but we had a pretty good
- 4:14Speaker 5: breakfast that The bagels were just out of this world.
- 4:17Speaker 2: All right, it sounds good. I do love I do
- 4:19Speaker 2: love a good bagel. All right, let's get to this week.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Sodop me please bet of the week from the Cannaw
- 4:23Speaker 2: Charsty Main Association. His name is Captain Hook. As always.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Picture posted Dave Allen Radio on Facebook at Dave A
- 4:30Speaker 2: seventy on xton on the WCCHS network Facebook page, tell
- 4:33Speaker 2: us Angie about Captain Hook.
- 4:37Speaker 5: So Captain Hook came to Kha with his mom and
- 4:40Speaker 5: his litter mates. They are all still available for adoption.
- 4:43Speaker 5: They were just strays that were dumped on some lady.
- 4:47Speaker 5: She got him to us. We got everybody vaccinated, six
- 4:51Speaker 5: D worms, D FLEAD and microchip. So he is ready
- 4:55Speaker 5: to go home as soon as you say yes. But
- 4:58Speaker 5: I don't know how much I can say about a
- 5:01Speaker 5: puppy because they're puppies, they're resties with everybody. They fit
- 5:04Speaker 5: for just about every lifestyle.
- 5:06Speaker 2: So what kind of dog is it?
- 5:10Speaker 5: So he West Virginia brown dogs. I would say it's
- 5:13Speaker 5: probably like a retriever mix of sorts. His mom certainly
- 5:16Speaker 5: favors like a retriever type of look, so we'll just
- 5:19Speaker 5: go with that.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Do I want to ask why you named the dog
- 5:23Speaker 2: Captain Hook?
- 5:25Speaker 5: So they are all named So mom's name is Meggan
- 5:30Speaker 5: the Stallion, and they're all named after make the Stallion songs.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Okay, all right, one day you'll explain to me what
- 5:37Speaker 2: or who a Meg thee Stallion is?
- 5:38Speaker 5: Right, I don't know if you want to find out,
- 5:43Speaker 5: all right?
- 5:43Speaker 2: Captain Hook's picture again posted Dave Island Radio and Facebook,
- 5:46Speaker 2: also the WHS network Facebook page and at Dave seventy
- 5:50Speaker 2: on x Angie. Tickets are still on sale for Texas
- 5:52Speaker 2: and Tails Saturday night, April twenty fifth, seven o'clock at
- 5:55Speaker 2: jq Dickets and Saltworks and Malden. But they are going quickly, They.
- 6:00Speaker 5: Are going quickly. We're selling more and more each day.
- 6:02Speaker 5: I know last week you heard me say over half
- 6:05Speaker 5: of the tickets had been sold. I think we're reaching
- 6:07Speaker 5: like the seventy five percent mark, So definitely get them
- 6:11Speaker 5: if you plan on coming to Texas and tails get
- 6:13Speaker 5: them as thin as possible.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Talking with Angie Gilman Water again from the Gonnal Charleston
- 6:17Speaker 2: Humaine Association with Dave Allen Shell on five eighty Live,
- 6:19Speaker 2: brought to you in part by Morgan and Morgan, America's
- 6:21Speaker 2: largest injury law firm. And how are the numbers looking
- 6:25Speaker 2: at the shelter, Angie, So we are.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Filling up very quickly on puppies, which is crazy because
- 6:31Speaker 5: typically puppies get it opted pretty quickly. Puppies are full,
- 6:36Speaker 5: adult dogs are full. Cats are still manageable. So keep
- 6:39Speaker 5: it opting the cats and just go ahead and pick
- 6:41Speaker 5: up an adult dog and a puppy while you're there
- 6:43Speaker 5: as well.
- 6:43Speaker 2: And I will want to make sure too that people
- 6:45Speaker 2: realize and you and I talk about this every week.
- 6:48Speaker 2: I mean, you need you want people to adopt these
- 6:50Speaker 2: lovely dogs, cats, whatever other critters you have up there,
- 6:54Speaker 2: like people to consider it to be fosters. Okay, but
- 6:57Speaker 2: sometimes if you could just and especially now that the
- 7:00Speaker 2: weather is getting better, if you could just volunteer your
- 7:03Speaker 2: time to say I want to come up and play
- 7:05Speaker 2: with the dogs, or take a dog or two out
- 7:08Speaker 2: for a date for the day to a park, or
- 7:11Speaker 2: even if you walk them around up there. Whatever. Those
- 7:13Speaker 2: kinds of volunteers Angie can can do so much to help.
- 7:18Speaker 5: Absolutely. I understand being at like max capacity for pests,
- 7:22Speaker 5: and I also understand not every living situation will allow
- 7:25Speaker 5: for pets in the home, which is why volunteering is
- 7:27Speaker 5: such an important way to help us. Like you said,
- 7:30Speaker 5: you mentioned a couple great ways to volunteer. If you
- 7:33Speaker 5: don't want to get out, if you don't want to
- 7:34Speaker 5: be you know, on your feet all day and active,
- 7:37Speaker 5: we have activities up at the shelter you can help
- 7:39Speaker 5: us out with, like prepping enrichment for the dogs, which
- 7:43Speaker 5: you know helps their mental health. It's required every day
- 7:46Speaker 5: for one hundred and some dogs in our care, so
- 7:48Speaker 5: we can certainly use help with that. And if you
- 7:51Speaker 5: don't have the spare time to volunteer, which I completely
- 7:54Speaker 5: understand too as someone who's pretty busy, donating supplies that
- 7:59Speaker 5: we need. Alls is extremely helpful for.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Us, and I was very happy a couple of days
- 8:03Speaker 2: ago when I did the show on Wednesday, I had
- 8:05Speaker 2: Tim Brady from the Charleston CVB on and Tim was
- 8:09Speaker 2: talking about the upcoming bike event which will be this
- 8:13Speaker 2: June in Charleston, and among the charities that are going
- 8:16Speaker 2: to be helping out are you folks at CANA Charleston
- 8:18Speaker 2: New Main Association. So I thought that was really really
- 8:20Speaker 2: good news.
- 8:22Speaker 5: Yes, we look forward to that event every year. It's
- 8:24Speaker 5: always really fun to see everyone like rolling in with
- 8:26Speaker 5: their supplies. So we love that event and it's always
- 8:30Speaker 5: really good day at the shelter. We get stocked up
- 8:32Speaker 5: on supplies and usually everyone will hang around and say
- 8:35Speaker 5: hi to the sheltered dogs and cats.
- 8:38Speaker 2: We had a text here said are you folks in
- 8:40Speaker 2: need of anything extra since it's kitten season again?
- 8:44Speaker 5: Kitten season anyway, Sorry, it just took my breath away.
- 8:48Speaker 5: So Lenen's are always great. Heating pads, kitten formula, kitten
- 8:54Speaker 5: food like wet food, hard food. And then also you
- 8:59Speaker 5: wouldn't think of about it, but like very small, teeny
- 9:01Speaker 5: tiny little bottles. We use those for kittens but you know,
- 9:05Speaker 5: maybe don't have a mama. Also, scales, thermometers, pretty much
- 9:09Speaker 5: any type of medical supplies we will use during the
- 9:11Speaker 5: upcoming kitten season.
- 9:13Speaker 2: You guys out and about anywhere this weekend. I know
- 9:15Speaker 2: you're in New Jersey, but I mean the rest of
- 9:17Speaker 2: the team out anywhere.
- 9:19Speaker 5: The rest of the team is not out because I'm
- 9:21Speaker 5: in New Jersey.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Oh okay, I got you, I got you, I got you?
- 9:25Speaker 2: All right, Angie? As always, how long are you going
- 9:27Speaker 2: to be up there? Are you're gonna come back and
- 9:28Speaker 2: join us at some point? Right forever?
- 9:31Speaker 5: Actually right? I don't think I could stay up here forever. Anyways,
- 9:36Speaker 5: I will be on my way home this afternoon, so
- 9:38Speaker 5: hopefully by nightfall I'll be back in West Virginia.
- 9:41Speaker 2: All right, all right, Angie, Well go grab a bagel
- 9:44Speaker 2: if you would for me. I like I like the bagels, uh,
- 9:47Speaker 2: with the with the cream cheese, or I like the
- 9:49Speaker 2: everything bagels. You're seeing everything bagel. Just have one and
- 9:52Speaker 2: think of me.
- 9:53Speaker 6: Okay, I absolutely will, all right.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Angie gelling Water Canaw Charleston main association with this week's
- 9:58Speaker 2: Adopt Me Please of the Week. It's Captain Hook is
- 10:02Speaker 2: our dog this week. He's about two months old, and
- 10:06Speaker 2: I understand what Angie's saying. It's hard to place a
- 10:09Speaker 2: personality yet on a two month old dog. I mean
- 10:12Speaker 2: because their personality is still forming classic WESTERNINGI and brown dog.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Maybe a little bit of a Retriever in him. Good
- 10:18Speaker 2: looking dog. He's already neutered, he's already vaccinated, he is
- 10:22Speaker 2: already de wormed, and he is ready to go. It
- 10:25Speaker 2: is a beautiful, beautiful dog. I've got his picture posted
- 10:28Speaker 2: Dave Island Radio on Facebook, also the WCCHS network Facebook
- 10:31Speaker 2: page and at Dave eight seventy on X. Let's go
- 10:34Speaker 2: and let's try to get Captain Hook a home. Beautiful
- 10:37Speaker 2: beautiful dog. And I'll say this too, that when we
- 10:40Speaker 2: do these features every week, sometimes the folks at the
- 10:42Speaker 2: shelter are so busy. I tried to stay in contact
- 10:45Speaker 2: with him a couple times a week, but it doesn't
- 10:46Speaker 2: always work out that way. If you are one of
- 10:49Speaker 2: the folks that has adopted one of the of the
- 10:52Speaker 2: animals that we've featured on the Adoption, please put it
- 10:54Speaker 2: the week. Let me know about it. You know you

- 14:02Speaker 2: in passing because you know you're walking down the hall here,
- 14:04Speaker 2: we got our different stations in the building. By the way,
- 14:07Speaker 2: let me just say this, come Monday, I'm not going

- 14:24Speaker 2: I walk through the halls here and I hear people
- 14:26Speaker 2: talking about certain artists. If it came, if it happened
- 14:29Speaker 2: after nineteen ninety two, chances all right, I don't know it,

- 15:19Speaker 2: T shirts that said the Fun Girls.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Absolutely we would wear them with pride.
- 15:24Speaker 2: All right. So you got your last minute planning going

- 16:00Speaker 2: And I think with the winter Kelly that we've had,
- 16:02Speaker 2: people are just dying to get outside right now, or
- 16:04Speaker 2: get anywhere for that matter.
- 16:06Speaker 6: Absolutely, I was dying. I'm dying to get outside right now.
- 16:09Speaker 6: So yeah, we got vendors moving in right now. And
- 16:12Speaker 6: you know, it's it's very nice. It's not raining yet,
- 16:16Speaker 6: but the weather has warmed up, and we just want
- 16:18Speaker 6: everybody to get excited about going back outside.
- 16:22Speaker 2: And you know, this is this event happens in Morgantown,
- 16:25Speaker 2: and I had a chance to attend a couple of
- 16:27Speaker 2: years in a row, and I was surprised at because
- 16:30Speaker 2: you think about, Okay, well this is that's in Morgantown, Okay,
- 16:34Speaker 2: and you think it's going to be a northern West
- 16:35Speaker 2: Virginia thing. I was totally shocked when I got up
- 16:38Speaker 2: there and I saw so many people from the Charleston area.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I saw so many people from Beckley that I knew.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I saw so many people from all over southern West
- 16:46Speaker 2: Virginia that I knew as well. People make the trip
- 16:49Speaker 2: for this thing.
- 16:50Speaker 6: Oh, absolutely, they come from all over the country. We
- 16:53Speaker 6: have people coming down from Canada. We have people from
- 16:56Speaker 6: South Africa coming, so we just have people from all over,
- 16:59Speaker 6: but we really do represent our state well here. We
- 17:02Speaker 6: have lots of local vendors, so we want you to
- 17:04Speaker 6: come show them some love.
- 17:05Speaker 2: And it's at Myland Park in Morgantown, which if you
- 17:07Speaker 2: haven't had an opportunity to visit, that is a wonderful facility.
- 17:11Speaker 6: It is, and it's ginormous and we have every square
- 17:15Speaker 6: inch filled with stuff for anybody.
- 17:17Speaker 2: And that's over one hundred thousand square feet we're talking about, Okay,
- 17:21Speaker 2: so that's a lot of square footage, yes.
- 17:23Speaker 6: And they are packing it in now. I'm just watching
- 17:26Speaker 6: vendor after vendor walk through our door, getting ready for
- 17:29Speaker 6: everybody to come see us this weekend.
- 17:30Speaker 2: And what are your hours there tomorrow and Sunday.
- 17:33Speaker 6: On Saturday we start at nine, we close at seven,
- 17:36Speaker 6: and on Sunday we start at nine and we close
- 17:39Speaker 6: down at four.
- 17:40Speaker 2: And I do want to give you a little programming
- 17:42Speaker 2: note here. Chris Lawrence, we'll be doing West Virginia Outdoors
- 17:45Speaker 2: live from there tomorrow morning's seven oh six, and then
- 17:47Speaker 2: he's going to do an expanded live broadcast from ten
- 17:50Speaker 2: until noon on our sister station in Morgantown, WAJR be
- 17:53Speaker 2: a great time to our mind folks, Kelly to download
- 17:56Speaker 2: the WVRC Media app and that way all of our
- 17:58Speaker 2: stations are on there, so you can actually, you know,
- 18:00Speaker 2: you can hear the normal show, but you can also
- 18:02Speaker 2: hear Chris live on WAJR. He does a similar thing
- 18:05Speaker 2: when we have the Hounting and Fishing show here in
- 18:06Speaker 2: Charleston here on WCCHS, but he's doing this one on WAJR.
- 18:10Speaker 2: And so you may want to download that WVRC Media
- 18:13Speaker 2: app and that way you can listen to everything up there.
- 18:15Speaker 2: We're talking to Kelly again about the Westernian Fishing, Hunting
- 18:19Speaker 2: and Outdoor Sports Show presented by can AM tomorrow and
- 18:22Speaker 2: Sunday at Miland Park in Morgantown. What's your YEA, I
- 18:25Speaker 2: know it's asking people like like ask you what's your
- 18:28Speaker 2: favorite kid? But I mean one or two or three
- 18:30Speaker 2: of the highlights for you every year.
- 18:33Speaker 6: So last year we started the kid's fishing pond and
- 18:37Speaker 6: the kids absolutely loved it. Yeah, I lie a little bit.
- 18:41Speaker 6: I say that kids loved it. I saw adults over
- 18:43Speaker 6: there fishing, so everybody loved the fishing pond. We have
- 18:47Speaker 6: upgraded that area this year. I can't wait for everybody
- 18:50Speaker 6: to see it. And again, you come, you catch a
- 18:54Speaker 6: golden trout, you want a ten dollars I hop gift cards,
- 18:56Speaker 6: so it's a win win. So that's one of my favorites.
- 19:00Speaker 6: Another favorite is we got a local pickle guy. I
- 19:03Speaker 6: know the Charleston show has a pickle guy. I'm sure
- 19:05Speaker 6: he's fabulous, but we have Monty and he has the
- 19:08Speaker 6: best pickles. He has sold out here year after year
- 19:11Speaker 6: and he's had to go get more. So he's one
- 19:13Speaker 6: of my favorite vendors to come in. And you know what,
- 19:17Speaker 6: I really love all of our vendors. I get to
- 19:20Speaker 6: talk to everybody, and really there's just no bad booth here.
- 19:24Speaker 2: And again, well maybe we'll have a North versus South
- 19:27Speaker 2: pickle war between the two hunting and fishing shows. But now,
- 19:29Speaker 2: if I'm correct, I think our pickle person in Charleston,
- 19:32Speaker 2: I think is from Pennsylvania. I think because I remember
- 19:34Speaker 2: a couple of years ago they ran out and had
- 19:36Speaker 2: to drive back to Pennsylvania and come back, So you.
- 19:39Speaker 6: Know there must be something in the water. Our guys
- 19:41Speaker 6: from Pennsylvania too pickles.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I mean one wouldn't think, and there's always food items
- 19:46Speaker 2: available with these shows. You wouldn't think food would be
- 19:48Speaker 2: that big a deal, specifically pickles, but by golly, it
- 19:51Speaker 2: is and people people love it. There's also a lot
- 19:53Speaker 2: of outfitter things at these at these events as well,
- 19:56Speaker 2: and by that I mean these different trips you can
- 19:59Speaker 2: take an excurseion and places that those are always huge
- 20:01Speaker 2: at these shows.
- 20:03Speaker 6: Oh absolutely. We have tons from all over, from Canada
- 20:08Speaker 6: to South Africa, New Mexico, the Midwest. We have them
- 20:12Speaker 6: from all over. So whatever you're looking for, you're going
- 20:14Speaker 6: to find it here. And not just hunting outfitters. We
- 20:17Speaker 6: have fishing charters from Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, the Chesapeake area,
- 20:21Speaker 6: So you're just going to want to come and get
- 20:23Speaker 6: one of those trips and just get ready to be
- 20:26Speaker 6: outside and be warm. It's been a long winter.
- 20:28Speaker 2: It has been a long, long winter. And tomorrow, oddly enough,
- 20:32Speaker 2: playing up the aspect of people wanted to get outside,
- 20:35Speaker 2: it's actually they say that we could possibly break record
- 20:37Speaker 2: temperatures today to mar temperatures are going to be possibly
- 20:39Speaker 2: in the low eighties. So even though everybody wants to
- 20:42Speaker 2: get outdoors, they may forget what it's like then they
- 20:45Speaker 2: want to go back indoors again. And it's air conditioned
- 20:48Speaker 2: inside there. So those never thought this time two or
- 20:51Speaker 2: three weeks ago we'd be wanting air conditioning, but we
- 20:53Speaker 2: do want at myland Park there the facility is air conditioning. Kelly,
- 20:57Speaker 2: I know you're busy. We'll let you go. We'll revisit
- 20:59Speaker 2: you guys today on Metro News Midday. Appreciate you being here,
- 21:02Speaker 2: have a great show. We'll talk soon. Thanks you all
- 21:05Speaker 2: right again. It is the state's premiere outdoor sports show,
- 21:08Speaker 2: twenty fourth annual West Virginia Fishing Hunting an outdoor sports show.
- 21:11Speaker 2: It's all present of by can Am Mile Park in Morgantown.
- 21:15Speaker 2: They'll start things tomorrow and Sunday at nine am, going
- 21:19Speaker 2: to seven o'clock tomorrow night. Over one hundred thousand square
- 21:22Speaker 2: feet of everything that's outdoors, well over two hundred vendors,
- 21:27Speaker 2: all in one place. If you need information, go to
- 21:29Speaker 2: the website at WV Outdoor Sportshow dot com. WV Outdoor
- 21:33Speaker 2: Sportshow dot com. It is a WVRC media event and
- 21:36Speaker 2: again a programming note. Chris Lawrence will do West Virginia
- 21:38Speaker 2: Outdoors live from there starting at seven oh six tomorrow morning,
- 21:42Speaker 2: and then he'll do an expanded show on our sister
- 21:45Speaker 2: station in Morgantown. They're the WCCHS of Morgantown or worthy
- 21:49Speaker 2: WAJAR of Charleston. I don't know which is which, but
- 21:51Speaker 2: it's our sister station in Morgantown, the news talk station there, WAJR,
- 21:55Speaker 2: and Chris will be on there much like he does
- 21:58Speaker 2: in Charleston, doing a live show between ten. A new
- 22:00Speaker 2: download the WVRC Media app and that way you get
- 22:03Speaker 2: all of our stations all in one place. And yeah,
- 22:07Speaker 2: maybe on Monday, I'll get into what's happening with one
- 22:10Speaker 2: of our stations here in Charleston because we are now.
- 22:13Speaker 2: I'm not making it a huge change. They're just just slight,
- 22:17Speaker 2: little change. You're gonna note to one of our stations.
- 22:19Speaker 2: I'll talk about that coming up on the show on Monday.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Coming up in just a bit, we are going to
- 22:24Speaker 2: talk to Ashley offer Glance from the Putnam County Chamber
- 22:27Speaker 2: of Commerce about it. I mean, man, there have been
- 22:29Speaker 2: so many things going on in Putnam County over the
- 22:33Speaker 2: last couple of days. I mean, businesses opening, people moving in.
- 22:36Speaker 2: I mean, it's just been off the charts actually offered.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Glance is the executive director of Putnam County Chamber of Commerce.
- 22:42Speaker 2: She is going to join us real quick. Note here,
- 22:44Speaker 2: I was away from the microphone yesterday and I don't
- 22:47Speaker 2: want to, you know, bore everybody with any details or
- 22:49Speaker 2: anything like that. But as you well know if you
- 22:51Speaker 2: listen to the show, I've talked about it pretty openly.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I am battling cancer. It is prostate cancer, which is
- 22:58Speaker 2: if you're gonna gonna get cancer, that's want to get
- 23:01Speaker 2: I mean, because the survival rate is incredibly high, and
- 23:05Speaker 2: I just keep getting messages and text from people saying, hey,
- 23:08Speaker 2: my husband went through this, I went through this, so
- 23:11Speaker 2: on and so forth. So I had to have a
- 23:12Speaker 2: procedure done yesterday, and I'll spare you the details, but
- 23:17Speaker 2: basically there's that I have gold in me. Now, how's
- 23:22Speaker 2: that I have? So you know, if I ever get
- 23:24Speaker 2: hard up, you know, ever get fired from this job,
- 23:27Speaker 2: go to my local pawnshop. I've got gold. Just saying
- 23:30Speaker 2: so I got that going on now Monday, I go
- 23:33Speaker 2: in for another procedure where they're gonn gave me some
- 23:34Speaker 2: sort of a shot. They've already told me it's going
- 23:36Speaker 2: to be incredibly painful. It's like a six inch needle
- 23:38Speaker 2: something like that. I will still be here Monday, and
- 23:41Speaker 2: then I'll start radiation treatments here like in the next
- 23:44Speaker 2: couple of weeks. So I got this. Appreciate all the
- 23:46Speaker 2: all the thoughts and prayers and so on and so forth.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I will say this though, and I posted this on
- 23:52Speaker 2: social media. My wife and I have a very very
- 23:55Speaker 2: dear friend of ours who is an older lady. She
- 23:57Speaker 2: lived across the street from us for many many years,
- 23:59Speaker 2: and that she she moved last year. She moved down
- 24:02Speaker 2: to Georgia to go into an elder care facility to
- 24:05Speaker 2: be closer to her daughter who lives in that area.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Completely understandable. But my wife U and Miss Billy as
- 24:12Speaker 2: we call her, they they talk every night, and Miss
- 24:16Speaker 2: Billy last night tells my wife Rthan said, will tell
- 24:20Speaker 2: Dave that that God has got his eyes on him.
- 24:24Speaker 2: And I respond to us and will tell her that
- 24:26Speaker 2: had I known God had his eyes on me, I
- 24:28Speaker 2: would have asked for a better gown that covers up
- 24:31Speaker 2: the backside because all of the medical technology that we
- 24:34Speaker 2: have that I was wearing that gown yesterday for a
- 24:36Speaker 2: few hours while I was undergoing this procedure. All the medical,
- 24:42Speaker 2: you know, advancements we've made, you would think that somebody
- 24:45Speaker 2: would have made a gown that was just a little
- 24:48Speaker 2: bit more covering, just saying Bigley Pigli Wiggly hotline three

- 27:03Speaker 4: Good morning day, Thanks so much for having.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Me, Thank you for being here. I understanding you folks
- 27:06Speaker 2: just finished up a I'm sure what was a very
- 27:08Speaker 2: successful business before business over there, right we did.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Yeah, we had a great crowd this morning. We were
- 27:14Speaker 4: at the Travis and Brittany Willards Edward Jones office and
- 27:17Speaker 4: we had a littlee hundred and fifty people with us
- 27:19Speaker 4: this morning.
- 27:19Speaker 5: So we were thrilled.
- 27:21Speaker 4: A nice sunny day bringing out everybody looking to make
- 27:23Speaker 4: some connections.
- 27:24Speaker 2: You know, there's been lots of stuff happening Ashley and
- 27:27Speaker 2: Putnham County recently. It seems like every time you turn around,
- 27:30Speaker 2: something new is opening up. Wingstop now open at Liberty Square.
- 27:34Speaker 2: It's a couple of days ago Dunkin Donuts into Buffalo
- 27:36Speaker 2: Wild Wings to go open there. There's a lot of
- 27:39Speaker 2: stuff going on in Putnham County these days.
- 27:42Speaker 4: Yeah, there absolutely is. We've seen some tremendous growth in
- 27:45Speaker 4: our retail and restaurant industry in this last couple of weeks,
- 27:49Speaker 4: so really excited to bring some of those new restaurants
- 27:52Speaker 4: on board and provide some more opportunities for folks. You know,
- 27:55Speaker 4: here in Putnam County, we are so fortunate we have
- 27:58Speaker 4: over thirty five locally owned restaurants, but people also still
- 28:03Speaker 4: love the opportunity to work with some of the chains
- 28:07Speaker 4: in the area, so we're eager and excited to welcome
- 28:09Speaker 4: some of those to the area. One of the new
- 28:11Speaker 4: local restaurants though, that just opened up is the Bad
- 28:13Speaker 4: Happy Burrito. People are really excited about that, as well
- 28:17Speaker 4: as the Sugar Maples just in the same building with that.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Yeah. I have not had a chance to visit Bad
- 28:23Speaker 2: Happy Burrito yet. I know one of the owners really
- 28:25Speaker 2: well and he's reached out to me a couple of
- 28:27Speaker 2: times and talked to about I haven't had a chance yet.
- 28:30Speaker 2: We have been to the other place, the Bakery, and
- 28:33Speaker 2: again it's in one building on Tays Valley Road. My
- 28:36Speaker 2: wife and I a couple of weeks ago went in
- 28:38Speaker 2: there and anytime she can get a scone, she's happy, okay,
- 28:42Speaker 2: And so they had scones and she got a coffee
- 28:45Speaker 2: and it was really really good. And they also have
- 28:47Speaker 2: genuine Ellen's ice cream in there.
- 28:50Speaker 4: They do absolutely Yeah, so there is Ellen's ice cream
- 28:53Speaker 4: in there. So as the weather it's getting warmer, you
- 28:55Speaker 4: can go and check it out. And they have a
- 28:57Speaker 4: specific one that's special to two sugar Maples, the sugar Maple,
- 29:03Speaker 4: the Maple ice cream, and so that's really nice and
- 29:06Speaker 4: you don't have to definitely go check out the Bad Happy.
- 29:09Speaker 4: It's a really fun vibe as well as the food
- 29:11Speaker 4: is just phenomenal delicious. We've also seen some retail coming
- 29:15Speaker 4: into the area. The five below. It is officially open.
- 29:17Speaker 4: I think we're still seeing some comments asking if it is,
- 29:20Speaker 4: if it's open yet. It is, and we've got some
- 29:23Speaker 4: other stuff coming into the area. Another restaurant that just
- 29:26Speaker 4: opened up too in Putnam Village is Hanks and it
- 29:31Speaker 4: is a golf stimulator and a restaurant. So people are
- 29:33Speaker 4: really excited about that. Those that are always asking about
- 29:35Speaker 4: what activities are there to do, you can go check
- 29:37Speaker 4: out the golf stimulator as well as have some delicious food.
- 29:41Speaker 4: And that's in Putnam Village next to the Goodwill and
- 29:46Speaker 4: the Aid of the app.
- 29:47Speaker 2: It's a former Italian grill location. I think, right, that's right.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, we were decided to lose the Italian Girl,
- 29:52Speaker 4: but we are really excited to have this new option
- 29:55Speaker 4: available to folks to fill that scout for sure.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Well, I can tell you you got TJ. Meadows, Uh
- 30:00Speaker 2: you definitely, he's a Putnam County gad too. You got
- 30:02Speaker 2: his attention when you start talking about golf and because
- 30:04Speaker 2: I mean this is a genuine golf simulator that's inside
- 30:07Speaker 2: to plus great food as well.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Yeah, we also well we also if people really love golf,
- 30:12Speaker 4: the simulated Swing is also in Pundham County and it's
- 30:15Speaker 4: just off the Nitro exit as well, and they are
- 30:17Speaker 4: seeing tremendous success with their with their some golf simulator
- 30:22Speaker 4: bins as well. So we're we're really adding some great
- 30:26Speaker 4: additions to the community, a lot of stuff for people
- 30:29Speaker 4: to do. And I really I feel like I'm actually
- 30:31Speaker 4: forgetting some.
- 30:32Speaker 6: Stuff because we've.
- 30:33Speaker 4: Had so much uh so much new stuff come on
- 30:36Speaker 4: in the last couple of weeks.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Well, and I do want to mention and not to
- 30:39Speaker 2: make it all about food, but it was announced that
- 30:41Speaker 2: Bogey's is going to be going into Hurricane too. Now
- 30:43Speaker 2: Bogies this is of course, they have the location inside
- 30:46Speaker 2: Capital Market. They were voted best hot dog in West
- 30:49Speaker 2: Virginia for their uh their location out in Tornado, and
- 30:52Speaker 2: they just announced within the last couple of weeks that
- 30:54Speaker 2: they are going to be opening up as well, just
- 30:56Speaker 2: off the if you take the Hurricane ecod it's right, Uh,
- 30:59Speaker 2: it's to be right. We're like being in the neighborhood
- 31:01Speaker 2: where Subway and Pizza Hut is through there, So you
- 31:03Speaker 2: get that going on. I want to get away from food.
- 31:05Speaker 2: I know it's hard for me to say, but I
- 31:06Speaker 2: want to get away from food for me.
- 31:08Speaker 4: I know that we have for you know, you to
- 31:10Speaker 4: have that opportunity to.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Yes, But I want to talk about some of the
- 31:14Speaker 2: other growth and some of the other things that are
- 31:16Speaker 2: going on in Putnam County, because, as I said, it's
- 31:18Speaker 2: there's been a lot of announcements about food places and
- 31:20Speaker 2: retails so on and so forth, but there's a whole
- 31:22Speaker 2: lot more of this of this, uh, this vibe going
- 31:26Speaker 2: on as far as growth in Putnam County right now.
- 31:29Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, I mean we're we're definitely uh, you know,
- 31:32Speaker 4: if anytime Putnam County comes up, I'm sure that our
- 31:35Speaker 4: housing shortage is mentioned in some capacity. And so we've
- 31:38Speaker 4: got some really great developers, some local developers as well
- 31:41Speaker 4: as some national ones coming in to add some new
- 31:44Speaker 4: housing to to the market here in Punham County. You're
- 31:47Speaker 4: going to start seeing some groundwork being done down on
- 31:50Speaker 4: the Woodworth's Farm, which is ward Communities down in Hurricane
- 31:53Speaker 4: pretty sid and then we also have a great uh
- 31:56Speaker 4: some some great investment in Winfield and the Windfield area
- 32:00Speaker 4: housing coming there as well. Winfield. You know, when you
- 32:03Speaker 4: think about Putnam County a lot of times, you know,
- 32:05Speaker 4: Tay's Valley kind of gets the highlight. But Winfield is
- 32:08Speaker 4: a phenomenal community. And not only are we going to
- 32:10Speaker 4: see some new houses coming in there, we've had a
- 32:12Speaker 4: coffee shop open up as well as some other small
- 32:14Speaker 4: businesses over there in the last couple of weeks too.
- 32:17Speaker 4: So that's a really good community to be a part
- 32:19Speaker 4: of with with where we're seeing some great growth too.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Bottom line is Puttnham County is the place to be
- 32:24Speaker 2: right now. I mean, because there's a lot of folks
- 32:26Speaker 2: moving in. There's businesses open up right and left, and everybody,
- 32:29Speaker 2: you know, wants to talk about the traffic situation. And
- 32:31Speaker 2: I get it. You know, you know where I live.
- 32:33Speaker 2: I live right off Day's Valley Road about a half
- 32:35Speaker 2: a mile and a half or so, I'm in it
- 32:37Speaker 2: every day for about fifteen or twenty minutes. But you
- 32:39Speaker 2: know what, it beats the alternative, Ashley, it beats the alternative.
- 32:43Speaker 4: Yeah, we're we definitely know and we definitely here hear
- 32:47Speaker 4: the concern of the community about that, and we are
- 32:48Speaker 4: doing everything that we can to address that with the
- 32:51Speaker 4: powers at be So we we do understand that. But
- 32:54Speaker 4: we also, you know, know that this is just a
- 32:57Speaker 4: great community to be in and on occasion, you know,
- 33:00Speaker 4: there will be a little bit of a hold up.
- 33:02Speaker 4: So so yeah, we're just we're seeing some great stuff,
- 33:05Speaker 4: some new stuff entering the market, and we are just eager,
- 33:11Speaker 4: eager for more.
- 33:13Speaker 2: And I would guess the farmers market to be opened
- 33:14Speaker 2: up here pretty soon too.
- 33:15Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, yeah, yeah, So the farmers market actually has
- 33:18Speaker 4: their annual meeting. Funny you say that, I just got
- 33:21Speaker 4: an email about our annual meeting for a Farmer's market
- 33:24Speaker 4: this Sunday to kind of get interest from what our
- 33:26Speaker 4: vendors are going to be. The Farmer's Market is going
- 33:29Speaker 4: to take place here at Area thirty four and it'll
- 33:31Speaker 4: open up in May and it'll run through the fall.
- 33:34Speaker 4: So but it'll be here. People were concerned, you know
- 33:37Speaker 4: obviously with the beat ups and the duncan opening up
- 33:41Speaker 4: in the in the spot of wind, where was the
- 33:43Speaker 4: market going to go? And it's actually just going to
- 33:44Speaker 4: move right over here.
- 33:45Speaker 5: To Area thirty four.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's the that's the Area thirty four is
- 33:49Speaker 2: the home of the among other things. You know, you
- 33:51Speaker 2: got the coffee shop in there. You got Connie slinging
- 33:54Speaker 2: to coffee, and Ashley's offices there and the CVB and
- 33:57Speaker 2: every there's several other offices in there as well. And
- 34:00Speaker 2: it's it's there. It's on that lot there just beside
- 34:03Speaker 2: where Exon and Arby's is, so you can't miss it,
- 34:05Speaker 2: just off the days Valley exit. Ashley offered glances with
- 34:07Speaker 2: the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. Always exciting to talk
- 34:10Speaker 2: to you, appreciate you being here.
- 34:11Speaker 6: Take care, Thanks day, all right.

- 39:05Speaker 2: nine to three point fifty since Monday. Do you think
- 39:09Speaker 2: we'll see the I did this stickers with Trump pointing
- 39:12Speaker 2: at the gas prices like we saw during the Biden administration.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Probably not around West Virginia, because my gas are happy
- 39:19Speaker 2: with high gas prices as long as their dear leader
- 39:22Speaker 2: tells them to be happy. Says I've forgotten about those
- 39:26Speaker 2: I Did This stickers that showed up on gas pumps
- 39:28Speaker 2: and whatnot my gas texture would be no. Uh, Texas, Dave,
- 39:36Speaker 2: I'm outraged. Biden just caused gas prices to go up
- 39:39Speaker 2: again and unemployment just went up again to four point
- 39:42Speaker 2: four percent. We've lost more jobs of last year than
- 39:45Speaker 2: we created. Biden has to go little sarcasm, Little sarcasm
- 39:49Speaker 2: off the text line there, Texas, Dave. Every utility has
- 39:53Speaker 2: had sixteen rate increases in the last ten years, so
- 39:56Speaker 2: the highest utility rates in the country. And remember the
- 39:58Speaker 2: Republicans have been charge all ten years. A text A
- 40:03Speaker 2: couple of things in the news. That big crash on
- 40:08Speaker 2: sixty four yesterday at the Hurricane exit snarl traffic for hours.
- 40:14Speaker 2: So we have a story posted about at WV Metronews
- 40:17Speaker 2: dot com. Police we're going after apparently some twenty two
- 40:20Speaker 2: year old guy and he's in not that he wasn't
- 40:23Speaker 2: already in trouble, and he was pretty well known to
- 40:27Speaker 2: law enforcement anyway. From what I understand. Now he's in
- 40:29Speaker 2: even more trouble because as part of the chase, and
- 40:33Speaker 2: again you can read about at WV metro news dot com,
- 40:35Speaker 2: he rear ended another lady. So now she was tragically killed.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Not only is he facing charges for the chase. He's
- 40:43Speaker 2: also facing charges for vehicular homicide and a host of
- 40:47Speaker 2: other charges that he's caught now and tragically. It's a
- 40:52Speaker 2: tragedy when anything like this happens, of course, But the
- 40:55Speaker 2: woman killed was very well known. The Strawberry Lady as
- 41:02Speaker 2: she was known, Angela Bourne was her name by all accounts,
- 41:07Speaker 2: just a fantastic human being. The guy who calls her
- 41:10Speaker 2: death not so much I have not. I did not
- 41:16Speaker 2: know her personally, but I knew a lot about her.
- 41:19Speaker 2: I know that Steve Bishop from her sister station of
- 41:21Speaker 2: V one hundred, was very was I think, very good
- 41:25Speaker 2: friends with her. Knew her very well. I'll have often
- 41:27Speaker 2: in the office used to hear him referring to the
- 41:30Speaker 2: Strawberry Lady. It's tragic story all around. Read the story
- 41:34Speaker 2: wv Metronews dot com. Morgan Pemberton has that also, longtime
- 41:39Speaker 2: Canawan County Magister Joe Shelton dies at the age of
- 41:42Speaker 2: eighty six, who was first elected back in nineteen seventy six.
- 41:46Speaker 2: A lot of years of great service, certainly a life
- 41:48Speaker 2: well lived. Thoughts of prayers to his family and colleagues. Ryan,
- 41:50Speaker 2: You're gonna have to remind me of something am I
- 41:52Speaker 2: out of breaks?
- 41:53Speaker 12: Now?
- 41:53Speaker 2: Did I take my final break? Okay? I couldn't remember.
- 41:57Speaker 2: I take one day off yesterday and and and my
- 42:00Speaker 2: mind's all foggy. I was thinking, have I taken all
- 42:03Speaker 2: my breaks? All right? So I've taken all my breaks?
- 42:05Speaker 2: That's good. H Let me see here. Tex says, uh Dave,
- 42:09Speaker 2: wondering if anyone saw the awesome job by South Charleston
- 42:12Speaker 2: Middle School basketball. They finished an undefeated season with a
- 42:16Speaker 2: buzzer beater with buzzera with the buzzer beater three three
- 42:22Speaker 2: point shot in the state championship game. It's made national
- 42:25Speaker 2: sports news and they sent me a link to it.
- 42:28Speaker 2: I did not translations. Texas seems all the handwringing over
- 42:33Speaker 2: Capitol Highs basketball seating was for not. Looks like the
- 42:36Speaker 2: coaches got the seeding correct. That was that was a
- 42:42Speaker 2: lot of contract, a lot of discussion of the last
- 42:45Speaker 2: couple of weeks about the what many people saw as
- 42:48Speaker 2: a low seed by the Capitol High basketball program. And
- 42:52Speaker 2: uh they went down to Greenbrier East last night and
- 42:55Speaker 2: they were defeated. Uh So, Texas said all for not.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Jack says, I saw the video. Should police have been
- 43:03Speaker 2: pursuing the suspect with the traffic conditions, especially throwing spike
- 43:06Speaker 2: strips in heavy traffic. I do not know the answer
- 43:09Speaker 2: to that. I do again, I was at home recovering yesterday,
- 43:16Speaker 2: but I, like you, saw it on the news last night,
- 43:18Speaker 2: read about it on her website, so it on social media.
- 43:20Speaker 2: It's not my place to question police of what they did.
- 43:26Speaker 2: I don't know. I think there will be an investigation
- 43:29Speaker 2: into it, as there is any time anyone loses their
- 43:31Speaker 2: life on this in a manner like this. So to answer,
- 43:36Speaker 2: I don't know what the answer to that is, but
- 43:38Speaker 2: the investigation continues. I know Putnam County Sheriff Bobby Agleton
- 43:42Speaker 2: had a press event. Heard some of the audio a
- 43:44Speaker 2: little bit this morning when I was driving into work.
- 43:47Speaker 2: All right, So I'm gonna throw this out here right now,
- 43:50Speaker 2: all right, and just just hear me out of this. So,
- 43:55Speaker 2: the students from Capitol High School, you were called a
- 43:58Speaker 2: couple of days ago, some students from Capitol High School
- 44:03Speaker 2: I had an issue with ice and they protested at
- 44:07Speaker 2: the West Virginia State Capitol while the legislature was going on.
- 44:10Speaker 2: And let me say I did reach out to Capitol
- 44:12Speaker 2: High Principal John Anderson. Uh, and I invited him to
- 44:16Speaker 2: come on the show today. He politely declined, and I'm
- 44:19Speaker 2: fine with that. That's okay. I appreciate that. And he
- 44:25Speaker 2: in the statement in a text to me, I don't
- 44:27Speaker 2: think he'd mind for me sharing that. He said, what
- 44:30Speaker 2: happened with Capitol High School and these students protesting the
- 44:33Speaker 2: Capitol was more of a student issue, and he is
- 44:36Speaker 2: this is a quote he said more about them than
- 44:39Speaker 2: than really it was about about me. Me need him,
- 44:41Speaker 2: which you know, I get that, and I appreciate mister
- 44:44Speaker 2: Anderson for, you know, for texting me back. I will
- 44:48Speaker 2: say this, I think a lot of people were upset
- 44:52Speaker 2: about it when I and and you saw the uh.
- 44:56Speaker 2: The comments from frequent guests to this show in Miday
- 45:00Speaker 2: and talk Line as well a Delegate Hathe Kathy hes Krause,
- 45:02Speaker 2: who I considered to be a very very close friend
- 45:04Speaker 2: of mine. Known Kathy for a year, Delegate Crouse for years.
- 45:07Speaker 2: She and I don't always agree on everything, and that's okay.
- 45:11Speaker 2: We've been friends for you know, well over ten years now.
- 45:14Speaker 2: But she was one of the ones that issued a
- 45:16Speaker 2: statement on social media asking questions about this about this
- 45:20Speaker 2: protest at the capital, and you know were questions like
- 45:26Speaker 2: were state funds, were transportation, uh, you know, to get
- 45:30Speaker 2: them to the capital taxpayer dollars and things of that nature.
- 45:34Speaker 2: Uh did they just walk out? Was the school aware
- 45:36Speaker 2: of it? Or they excuse absences? So on and so forth.
- 45:40Speaker 2: The state, the Kenaw County School System issued a statement
- 45:44Speaker 2: about it. Capital High School itself issued a statement about it.
- 45:47Speaker 2: And then many of the students were interviewed that took
- 45:50Speaker 2: part in the protest. They were interviewed by local television stations. Uhh,
- 45:55Speaker 2: I saw one of the interviews with one of the
- 45:56Speaker 2: young ladies who I think was the organizer or one
- 45:59Speaker 2: of the organizers last night on the on the on
- 46:02Speaker 2: on one of the newscasts last night, and Delegate Kraus
- 46:07Speaker 2: then comes on and responds with a statement saying something
- 46:11Speaker 2: very much paraphrasing here, saying something to the effective. Okay,
- 46:15Speaker 2: my questions were answered, and that's great and I and
- 46:19Speaker 2: good on Canaw County Schools and Capitol High School for
- 46:22Speaker 2: releasing the statement about explaining. Okay, So basically what they
- 46:25Speaker 2: said was no tax dollars were used to get the
- 46:30Speaker 2: students there. They went on their own accord. They were
- 46:34Speaker 2: not given any extra credit. That was going on online.
- 46:37Speaker 2: People were saying that, well, the kids were offered every
- 46:39Speaker 2: extra credit. Apparently not that. Apparently that wasn't the case.
- 46:46Speaker 2: So I will just say this about the situation. Okay,
- 46:49Speaker 2: this is just my opinion I thought, and hear me out.
- 46:54Speaker 2: I thought it was kind of a silly protest, Okay.
- 46:58Speaker 2: In my opinion, I've not been happy with everything that
- 47:01Speaker 2: what the coverage I've seen what ICE has done either.
- 47:03Speaker 2: I think they're in many many cases completely out of hand. Okay,
- 47:06Speaker 2: in many, not all. However, let me say this. I
- 47:12Speaker 2: applaud the I applaud the kids, whether I agree with
- 47:16Speaker 2: them or not. I applaud them for putting down their
- 47:22Speaker 2: phones long enough to care about something. And they obviously
- 47:29Speaker 2: were very passionate about this. As far as everyone being
- 47:35Speaker 2: upset about it, that's certainly you're right. But I'm going
- 47:38Speaker 2: to pose a question to you and give you something
- 47:42Speaker 2: to think about. All right. This is from your old buddy, Dave.
- 47:44Speaker 2: You're just something to think about, all right. I saw
- 47:47Speaker 2: the comments online. I saw some of the comments about
- 47:50Speaker 2: the students were vile. Because this is not not from
- 47:53Speaker 2: Delegate Chrous by the way, not from her, But from
- 47:56Speaker 2: other people, some of the comments were vile about about
- 47:59Speaker 2: these kids. These are kids you're talking about fifteen to
- 48:02Speaker 2: I guess i'm generalize, say fifteen to eighteen year old
- 48:04Speaker 2: kids you're talking about. All right, Ask yourself if you
- 48:08Speaker 2: were one of the people that was so upset about this,
- 48:11Speaker 2: ask yourself this question. Would you have been as upset
- 48:17Speaker 2: had the students been up there for a Charlie Kirk memorial?
- 48:24Speaker 2: Would you have been as upset had they been up
- 48:27Speaker 2: there to protest abortion? And I'm just using that as example.
- 48:32Speaker 2: If it were National Day of Prayer and the students
- 48:36Speaker 2: went up there, would you have been as upset? Okay?
- 48:41Speaker 2: And I'm not saying anything's right, anything's wrong. All I
- 48:46Speaker 2: am saying is that you got I think that you
- 48:52Speaker 2: have to look at it objectively. Okay. Again, did I
- 48:56Speaker 2: support I'm not a parent, I don't even live in
- 48:59Speaker 2: Kanan County, but I didn't. But I applaud them for
- 49:04Speaker 2: caring enough to get involved in something. I applaud any
- 49:08Speaker 2: kid at fifteen sixteen years old that will put down
- 49:10Speaker 2: their phone long enough to get involved. And one of
- 49:14Speaker 2: the students said, there is no Republican club at Capitol
- 49:18Speaker 2: High School. Because these clubs are student led and know

- 50:03Speaker 2: Would you have been as upset had they gone up
- 50:05Speaker 2: there for a National Day of Prayer or had it
- 50:08Speaker 2: been more Republican focused. If your answer is yes, I
- 50:13Speaker 2: would have been just as upset, then you're fine. In
- 50:16Speaker 2: my book, you're fine because you're consistent. But if you're not,
