• 2:47
Speaker 4: call you make. It's the forty seven Morning Update and
• 2:50
Speaker 4: it starts right now.
• 2:52
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 2:53
Speaker 4: More fallout in Minneapolis after the attack on an ICE
• 2:57
Speaker 4: agent that costs a woman her life. Donald Trump blasting
• 3:01
Speaker 4: the radical left after the ICE agent had no other
• 3:05
Speaker 4: choice but to shoot the woman who drove the car
• 3:07
Speaker 4: right into the ICE agent. The reason these incense are
• 3:11
Speaker 4: happening is because the radical left is threatening, assaulting, and
• 3:15
Speaker 4: targeting our law enforcement officers. President Trump releasing that statement,
• 3:19
Speaker 4: blasting the left for ratching up their rhetoric not toning
• 3:24
Speaker 4: it down. Trump said the video of the shooting is
• 3:27
Speaker 4: a horrible thing to watch and added that the woman
• 3:29
Speaker 4: driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who
• 3:34
Speaker 4: then violently, willfully and viciously ran over the ice officer
• 3:38
Speaker 4: who seems to have shut her in self defense. Based
• 3:42
Speaker 4: on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he
• 3:45
Speaker 4: is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital, the
• 3:48
Speaker 4: President said, regarding the ICE agent who appeared to be
• 3:51
Speaker 4: clipped by the woman's vehicle, The situation is being studied
• 3:55
Speaker 4: in its entirety, but the reason these incense are happening
• 3:59
Speaker 4: is because the radical left just threatening, assaulting, and targeting
• 4:01
Speaker 4: our law enforcement officers and ICE agents on a daily basis.
• 4:06
Speaker 4: The President went on to say, they are just trying
• 4:08
Speaker 4: to do the job of making America safe. We need
• 4:11
Speaker 4: to stand by and protect our law enforcement officers from
• 4:15
Speaker 4: the radical left movement of violence and hatred. Video footage
• 4:20
Speaker 4: shows ICE agents approaching the woman's car, with one agent
• 4:23
Speaker 4: attempting to open the driver's side door. Another agent approached
• 4:27
Speaker 4: the front of the vehicle and the woman began to
• 4:30
Speaker 4: drive towards him before three shots were fired. The agent
• 4:33
Speaker 4: near the front of the vehicle appeared to be clipped
• 4:36
Speaker 4: by the car. The Minnesota Governor Tim Wallas, however, he's
• 4:39
Speaker 4: decided to play politics and is basically advocating for more violence,
• 4:44
Speaker 4: blaming ICE and of course, the Trump administration, he says,
• 4:48
Speaker 4: for inflaming tensions in Minneapolis. Leading to the deadly shooting
• 4:52
Speaker 4: on Wednesday. Quote to Minnesotans, I say this, I feel
• 4:56
Speaker 4: your anger. I'm angry, the governor said during a pro conference.
• 5:01
Speaker 4: They want to show. We can't give it to them.
• 5:04
Speaker 4: We cannot. If you protest and express your First Amendment rights,
• 5:07
Speaker 4: please do so peacefully as you always do. We can't
• 5:12
Speaker 4: give them what they want, obviously, the governor, they're lying.
• 5:15
Speaker 4: It was very clear the woman was not being peaceful
• 5:18
Speaker 4: and she was using her car as a weapon to
• 5:20
Speaker 4: try to kill an ICE agent.
• 5:22
  Speaker 3: Well.
• 5:23
Speaker 4: It's also added that he had reached out to the
• 5:25
Speaker 4: Home Land Security Secretary Christy Nome and is waiting her response.
• 5:29
Speaker 3: We also saw the Minnesota.
• 5:31
Speaker 4: Democratic mayor Jacob Fry blaming federal agents for the fatal
• 5:35
Speaker 4: shooting and told ICE to get the f out of Minneapolis.
• 5:40
Speaker 3: We don't want you here. He said.
• 5:42
Speaker 4: Your state of reason for being in the city is
• 5:44
Speaker 4: to create some kind of safety, and you're doing exactly
• 5:47
Speaker 4: the opposite. People are being hurt, families are being ripped apart.
• 5:52
Speaker 4: Now somebody is dead, and that's on you, and it's
• 5:56
Speaker 4: also on you to leave. It's on you to make
• 5:58
Speaker 4: sure that for further damage, further loss of life an
• 6:02
Speaker 4: injury is not done. Yet again the Democratic Party showing
• 6:07
Speaker 4: that they are wanting to go political on a tragic
• 6:10
Speaker 4: event and not being honest about what actually happened and
• 6:13
Speaker 4: treating law enforcement like they're somehow the bad guys. But
• 6:17
Speaker 4: this is exactly why Minneapolis got to the point where
• 6:20
Speaker 4: it is with massive amounts of fraud, waste, and abuse.
• 6:25
Speaker 4: Vice President Jade Vance also coming out and saying this
• 6:29
Speaker 4: at the White House.
• 6:30
Speaker 5: President, thank you for taking questions today. Is there a
• 6:33
Speaker 5: risk with you describing for as a deranged left as
• 6:36
Speaker 5: talking about very specific facts of these events when an
• 6:40
Speaker 5: investigation is just beginning. Are you preempting a thorough investigation
• 6:45
Speaker 5: by drawing such conclusions? And have you received any information
• 6:49
Speaker 5: beyond the videos we've seen publicly about this individual per
• 6:53
Speaker 5: specific acts that has informed your.
• 6:56
  Speaker 6: Point of view.
• 6:56
Speaker 7: Well, first of all, the Department of Justice is going
• 6:59
Speaker 7: to investigate this. The Department Homeland Security is already investigating this.
• 7:03
Speaker 7: But the simple fact is what you see is what
• 7:05
Speaker 7: you get. In this case, you have a woman who
• 7:08
Speaker 7: is trying to obstruct a legitimate law enforcement operation. Nobody
• 7:11
Speaker 7: debates that you have a woman who aimed her car
• 7:14
Speaker 7: at a law enforcement officer, and pressed on the accelerator,
• 7:17
Speaker 7: nobody debates that I can believe that her death is
• 7:19
Speaker 7: a tragedy while also recognizing that it's a tragedy of
• 7:22
Speaker 7: her own making and a tragedy of the far left,
• 7:26
Speaker 7: who has marshaled an entire movement, a lunatic fringe against
• 7:30
Speaker 7: our law enforcement officers. I think what is clearly happening
• 7:34
Speaker 7: here and it's going to keep on happening unless the
• 7:36
Speaker 7: Democrats wake up and say, you know what, you don't
• 7:38
Speaker 7: have to agree with our immigration policies. You don't have
• 7:40
Speaker 7: to agree with what the president or the vice president
• 7:42
Speaker 7: believe about immigration enforcement. But why don't you take this
• 7:45
Speaker 7: to the ballot box?
• 7:46
Speaker 2: Why don't you vote?
• 7:47
Speaker 7: Why don't you organize instead? What some of them are doing,
• 7:51
Speaker 7: what some of them are doing is encouraging people to
• 7:54
Speaker 7: get violent with our law enforcement officials. It's disgraceful and
• 7:57
Speaker 7: it's got to stop.
• 8:00
Speaker 3: Evans wasn't done there. He also was asked this.
• 8:04
Speaker 8: Our related question here. I mean Democrats have accused Ice
• 8:07
Speaker 8: of murder. They said they're targeting Americans. They told Ice
• 8:11
Speaker 8: to get the f out of Minnesota. This is going
• 8:14
Speaker 8: to stoke with the fire against ICE agents, And you're
• 8:16
Speaker 8: talking about ICE agents right now and taken sort about them,
• 8:18
Speaker 8: What if anything, is the administration going to do to
• 8:21
Speaker 8: make sure these folks aren't protected during these protests?
• 8:23
Speaker 5: But also should DHS sort of revisit their procedures here?
• 8:28
Speaker 5: I mean, nobody wants to see an American killed.
• 8:31
Speaker 8: Are there changes that need to be made to make
• 8:33
Speaker 8: sure something like this doesn't happen yet?
• 8:35
Speaker 7: So, first of all, of course, nobody wants an American
• 8:37
Speaker 7: citizen to be killed. This is absolutely a tragedy, but
• 8:41
Speaker 7: it's a tragedy of the making of the far left.
• 8:44
Speaker 7: They have radicalized a very small segment of the population,
• 8:47
Speaker 7: taught them that ICE agents are engaging in wide scale
• 8:51
Speaker 7: violation of people's rights. What our ice officers are doing
• 8:55
Speaker 7: is deporting the millions of criminal aliens that were let
• 8:58
Speaker 7: in during the Biden administrations. So number one, we have
• 9:01
Speaker 7: to say, as a matter of leadership, and I would
• 9:03
Speaker 7: appreciate if the Democrats would join me on this, let's
• 9:06
Speaker 7: be honest about the fact that we have way too
• 9:08
Speaker 7: many illegal aliens in this country. Our ice officers should
• 9:10
Speaker 7: be supported in doing their job. You're trying to actually
• 9:14
Speaker 7: marshal the far left lunatic fringe, to engage in doxing,
• 9:20
Speaker 7: to try to make it impossible for them to enforce
• 9:22
Speaker 7: the law, and in some cases actually to engage in
• 9:24
Speaker 7: acts of domestic terrorism against our law enforcement officers. When
• 9:27
Speaker 7: you talk about different plans, different protocols, different policies, I
• 9:31
Speaker 7: forget exactly how you asked the question. Here's the simple fact.
• 9:34
Speaker 7: What we're going to do is make it easier for
• 9:36
Speaker 7: the American People's Administration to enforce the American People's Law.
• 9:40
Speaker 7: And that means that Democrats have to stop rallying the
• 9:45
Speaker 7: mob against legitimate law enforcement operations. And that means that
• 9:48
Speaker 7: we are going to get tougher. And that's what this
• 9:51
Speaker 7: AAG position is about. We're going to get tougher at
• 9:53
Speaker 7: the people who are defrauding the United States by inciting
• 9:58
Speaker 7: violence against our lawf forcement officers. That's one of the
• 10:01
Speaker 7: things that we're gonna do. We've already started that work
• 10:03
Speaker 7: at the Department of Justice, but we're going to keep
• 10:05
Speaker 7: on doing it. And this new AAG position is going
• 10:08
Speaker 7: to kick that into high gear.
• 10:10
  Speaker 3: Vice President J. D.
• 10:11
Speaker 4: Van Sayer making it very clear that the White House
• 10:14
Speaker 4: is not going to back down no matter what the
• 10:17
Speaker 4: Left decides to do. He also says that the new
• 10:20
Speaker 4: Assistant ag will have the job of getting to the
• 10:22
Speaker 4: bottom of who is funding the protests against ICE agents
• 10:27
Speaker 4: across the entire country. Clearly it's well organized and the
• 10:31
Speaker 4: radical left is paying for it, paying literally the protesters.
• 10:36
Speaker 6: Vice President Vance, you just suggested that this woman who
• 10:39
Speaker 6: was killed, Rene Good, is part of a broader left
• 10:43
Speaker 6: wing network. Who do you think is behind this broader
• 10:46
  Speaker 6: left wing network.
• 10:48
Speaker 7: Well, it's one of the things we're gonna have to
• 10:49
Speaker 7: figure out. But here's the way that I put it.
• 10:50
Speaker 7: When somebody throws a brick at an ICE agent, or
• 10:53
Speaker 7: somebody tries to run over an ICE agent who paid
• 10:56
Speaker 7: for the brick and who told protesters to show up
• 10:59
Speaker 7: and engage in violent activity against our law enforcement officers.
• 11:02
Speaker 7: You see, just with this most recent terrible incident in Minneapolis,
• 11:07
Speaker 7: you see friends of this woman's or other people who
• 11:09
Speaker 7: are eyewitnesses saying basically that she was there to engage
• 11:14
Speaker 7: in obstruction of a legitimate law enforcement operation. How did
• 11:17
Speaker 7: she get there, How did she learn about this? There's
• 11:19
Speaker 7: an entire network, and frankly, some of the media are
• 11:22
Speaker 7: participating in it that is trying to incite violence against
• 11:25
Speaker 7: our law enforcement officers. It's ridiculous, it's preposterous, and part
• 11:30
Speaker 7: of our investigatory work is getting to the bottom of it,
• 11:32
Speaker 7: who's funding it, who's supporting it, who's cheerleading it, and
• 11:35
Speaker 7: of course, if there's a legal activity related to that,
• 11:38
Speaker 7: we're going to get to the bottom of that and
• 11:40
Speaker 7: prosecute it where we can.
• 11:41
Speaker 4: It's very clear Donald Trump and the White House, the
• 11:44
Speaker 4: Vice President, Christy Nome, and everyone else in this administration
• 11:49
Speaker 4: is clearly focused on keeping law enforcement safe and also
• 11:53
Speaker 4: investigating who is funding those that are attacking ICE agents.
• 11:58
Speaker 4: Just to put in perspective, in the last month, more
• 12:01
Speaker 4: than one hundred cars have been used by protesters to
• 12:06
Speaker 4: target and attack ICE agents all over the country.
