Latest / Vanity Farah with Chris Farah / 90 Day Fiancé Season 12 Episode 18 “Am I Ready for Forever?” Part 2
Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: Hi there. Welcome back to Vanity Fair. My name is
- 0:09Speaker 1: Chris Farah, and I'm continuing on part two of Talking
- 0:13Speaker 1: 90 Day. It's season 12, episode 18. Am I ready
- 0:17Speaker 1: for forever? Honey, the answer is yeah. These people, at
- 0:24Speaker 1: least in this day and age, in this moment, in
- 0:25Speaker 1: this day of weddings, were. No one said no. Okay, so...
- 0:29Speaker 1: Because I'm only saying that because, like I said in
- 0:32Speaker 1: part one, a lot of this episode had moments of
- 0:38Speaker 1: feeling like a Love is Blind finale. So, yeah, like,
- 0:43Speaker 1: these people get married. It isn't like they don't get married.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I feel like I look really tan. And I'm happy
- 0:50Speaker 1: about it. Okay. Okay. Let's move on to Mito and Debbie.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Oh God, honey, it's the morning after and we're getting
- 0:57Speaker 1: like Michael Buble banging kind of music. You know what
- 1:01Speaker 1: I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? Debbie says, you
- 1:06Speaker 1: did good. Mito says, thank you, my girlfriend. And then
- 1:17Speaker 1: she tries to kiss him and he says, enough kisses.
- 1:23Speaker 1: It's not sexy. It's weird. It's uncomfortable. They don't seem
- 1:30Speaker 1: like they have any sort of chem. They seem the
- 1:33Speaker 1: exact same. I think that you did good is a
- 1:38Speaker 1: weird way of saying that. It seems still very maternal.
- 1:42Speaker 1: It seems like giving someone their sign of approval, like
- 1:46Speaker 1: After the game, like, you know, you would tell your,
- 1:49Speaker 1: you know, little son who's like the, you know, pitcher,
- 1:53Speaker 1: he did good, you know, like it feels whatever. In fact,
- 1:57Speaker 1: I don't think he did good. Her face is weird.
- 2:04Speaker 1: When she says that he did a good job, there's
- 2:07Speaker 1: a sort of, like, frozenness about her face. Almost, I
- 2:10Speaker 1: feel like her pupils dilate so, where she almost looks
- 2:16Speaker 1: like she's a cult member or someone who is lying
- 2:19Speaker 1: through their teeth. I can't imagine it was good, and
- 2:23Speaker 1: she's saying it was. And he is doing that thing
- 2:28Speaker 1: where he feels... Happy that his ego is being stroked.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Who knows what else feels stroked? She's like, did you
- 2:41Speaker 1: sleep well? He's like, you know how I slept. She says, though,
- 2:45Speaker 1: he was amazing and definitely a natural. He knows where
- 2:50Speaker 1: to go. Well, he is a professional tour guide. He
- 2:56Speaker 1: knows all the secret spots. He knows all the places
- 3:02Speaker 1: to point out with his fingers and the history. She's like,
- 3:27Speaker 1: was it worth the wait your whole life for me
- 3:31Speaker 1: this one night? He says, Yeah. But it's... Obviously, no. Like, obviously,
- 3:43Speaker 1: she's lying better than he is, and he's the actor. Like, he's...
- 3:47Speaker 1: It's very obvious that he didn't enjoy it. I mean,
- 3:50Speaker 1: I don't know what to say. Like, he doesn't seem
- 3:52Speaker 1: like he was into it. Like, is it him? You
- 3:54Speaker 1: could be like, no, he's just being cool. But he's
- 3:56Speaker 1: just like... Yeah. But how are you cool if you're like,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I was a virgin till last night? Like... At some point,
- 4:11Speaker 1: they cut to him alone in a confessional. And then
- 4:14Speaker 1: when the producers ask him to rate it on a scale,
- 4:17Speaker 1: this is the sex he's had with Debbie after never
- 4:21Speaker 1: having sex with a woman, never having sex with a
- 4:23Speaker 1: woman before. He rates it so-so. So-so. Come see, come say.
- 4:36Speaker 1: A C, a C. Meh. Mid. What? Okay, thoughts. These
- 4:56Speaker 1: are my thoughts. Now, the producers don't do this, but
- 5:00Speaker 1: here's the thing. Okay. Oh, it's only so-so? Rate it. So-so? Why?
- 5:10Speaker 1: Why was it only so-so? Did you expect it to
- 5:14Speaker 1: be longer? Did you expect to have better chem? Did
- 5:17Speaker 1: you expect her to be bendier? More giving? Did you
- 5:25Speaker 1: expect to last longer? Did you expect a unicorn to
- 5:29Speaker 1: fly out of her vagina? Did you expect it to
- 5:36Speaker 1: There's so many things, right? There's so many. I mean,
- 5:38Speaker 1: I'm not going to say all the things I could
- 5:39Speaker 1: say because, you know, I'm like, you know, trying to
- 5:43Speaker 1: like not scare people away. But I mean, it's like
- 5:46Speaker 1: my question is, was it only so-so because of what
- 5:50Speaker 1: you did or what she did or what you guys
- 5:53Speaker 1: did together? Or based upon what you thought it was
- 5:58Speaker 1: going to feel like or what other experiences that you've
- 6:01Speaker 1: had felt like? That's the follow-up question. Cause he could
- 6:08Speaker 1: be like, ah, so-so cause I came so fast, my fault.
- 6:13Speaker 1: And we'd be like, oh, okay. Yeah. Cause you're a
- 6:14Speaker 1: virgin and you couldn't, you know, you couldn't hold or whatever.
- 6:17Speaker 1: But like, he's like, so-so she's, she's creaky. Horrible. I
- 6:24Speaker 1: don't know. And we'd be like, well, he's an asshole,
- 6:27Speaker 1: you know? Ah, it's only so-so. Cause one time, uh,
- 6:34Speaker 1: I had a fun time once when I can't tell
- 6:36Speaker 1: you who it is, but when that person touched me,
- 6:38Speaker 1: I was like, you know, I don't know what made
- 6:43Speaker 1: it so-so, but don't we deserve to know? No. Okay. So, hmm.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Then she's like, hey, hey, remember when we got married
- 7:03Speaker 1: yesterday and then we fucked? Just kidding. Also remember when
- 7:06Speaker 1: we took pics? We did. We took the best pics ever. Anyway,
- 7:10Speaker 1: time to post those pics. Let's go through them and
- 7:13Speaker 1: then you post them on your social media. And I
- 7:15Speaker 1: was like, what, Debbie? Which ones? This one? Is it
- 7:19Speaker 1: this one you want to post? Wait, make him post
- 7:21Speaker 1: this one. She's like, he's never posted a picture of
- 7:25Speaker 1: me on his social media because he claims he needs
- 7:28Speaker 1: to use it for his acting, which He's not an actor. Also,
- 7:36Speaker 1: a lot of actors like post who they're with. You know, like, okay. Okay.
- 7:49Speaker 1: She calls him a master at avoidance because he doesn't
- 7:51Speaker 1: want to post. And then when she's like, do it now.
- 7:55Speaker 1: He's like, bad service. She's like, get your phone. So
- 7:59Speaker 1: then he like goes through his album and he decides
- 8:03Speaker 1: to post a picture and he's like, With music? She's like,
- 8:07Speaker 1: I don't know. Yes, of course with music, you dumb fuck. Post.
- 8:16Speaker 1: You don't post in a feed without a song nowadays.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Famous Instagram actor, Mito. There's so many options. Going to
- 8:29Speaker 1: the chapel and we thought, you know, you can't change it,
- 8:33Speaker 1: but like that one or It's a beautiful night. Na, na, na, na, na, na. Hey, baby.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Think I wanna... Sorry. I wonder if there is any
- 8:51Speaker 1: sort of music business connery where it's like, please make
- 9:04Speaker 1: the song that everyone loves will use when they want
- 9:08Speaker 1: to get married. Mariah Carey obviously makes a billion dollars
- 9:14Speaker 1: every Christmas because she has the Christmas song of Christmas songs.
- 9:17Speaker 1: But that Brutal Mars song that I just sang, everyone
- 9:21Speaker 1: uses it, right? People love it. People post it because
- 9:24Speaker 1: it says, hey, baby, I want to get married to you.
- 9:26Speaker 1: There's not so many songs like that. There's that song.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Then remember the Paula Abdul song? Will you marry me, boy? Or,
- 9:37Speaker 1: of course, God bless Dolly, I Will Always Love You.
- 9:40Speaker 1: But the I Will Always Love You song doesn't even
- 9:42Speaker 1: actually say marriage or something like that. It's almost like
- 9:47Speaker 1: a guaranteed great thing for your career if you can
- 9:50Speaker 1: somehow get a bop that references such a thing because
- 9:55Speaker 1: it's an evergreen topic. It comes back or it comes back.
- 10:00Speaker 1: you know, like Christmas comes every year and Mariah Carey
- 10:03Speaker 1: gets to make that money every year. Anyway. At one point,
- 10:09Speaker 1: even though he says the sex was so-and-so, that was
- 10:12Speaker 1: when she wasn't there, he says that he also wants
- 10:14Speaker 1: to have sex in the kitchen so he can eat
- 10:16Speaker 1: and fuck at the same time. And I think that
- 10:25Speaker 1: that's probably the unsexiest thing I've ever heard. And that's
- 10:28Speaker 1: coming from someone who loves to eat. I love it.
- 10:35Speaker 1: A lot too much. Arguably too much. The thought of
- 10:42Speaker 1: like having sex with someone and then having that person
- 10:45Speaker 1: have the like desire wherewithal and or just ADHD and
- 10:49Speaker 1: or just like ability to like not be so engaged
- 10:52Speaker 1: or not be so present also. then turn around and
- 10:55Speaker 1: pop a Cheez-It in his mouth, swallow it down before
- 10:59Speaker 1: I can make out with him again. Like no part
- 11:02Speaker 1: of that is hot. It seems like a weird idea
- 11:07Speaker 1: for someone who doesn't take pleasure from partnered sex. Not
- 11:16Speaker 1: that you have to, just saying. Okay. Yeah, that's the
- 11:24Speaker 1: end of them. Let's move on to Marissa and Edward.
- 11:28Speaker 1: So again, this again feels very love is blind. She's
- 11:32Speaker 1: running late. She doesn't want him to worry. Her mom
- 11:35Speaker 1: is there, Joanne. Mom says that she loves this guy,
- 11:38Speaker 1: but there are so many flags. Well, okay. Red flags,
- 11:44Speaker 1: green flags, yellow flags, orange flags, like purple flags are
- 11:48Speaker 1: all just, there's flags everywhere, I guess. She just has
- 11:52Speaker 1: a lot of flags. She's a, He plays flag football.
- 11:58Speaker 1: He's one of those guys that like rows and so
- 12:02Speaker 1: therefore they have all those like rowing flags. I'm not
- 12:04Speaker 1: quite sure. But then he arrives at the venue by himself, again,
- 12:10Speaker 1: in a black car with his clothes. When he walks out,
- 12:12Speaker 1: it's like very, again, very love is blind. And he
- 12:14Speaker 1: doesn't know whether she's going to show up. So again,
- 12:16Speaker 1: the same thing. When we see shots of her and
- 12:19Speaker 1: her mom, Joanne, it is, again, I've said this, but
- 12:22Speaker 1: so interesting how they have the exact same skin tones
- 12:27Speaker 1: and type as Lindsay Lohan and her mom. And Lindsay
- 12:32Speaker 1: Lohan and her mom are Italian, I guess. Right. So,
- 12:38Speaker 1: and so is Marissa and her mom. And there's just
- 12:41Speaker 1: this one like phenotype or whatever the word is of
- 12:48Speaker 1: Italian people that live like in Jersey and that have
- 12:53Speaker 1: really pale skin with like strawberry kind of like freckles.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I think that's so interesting. Okay, now she thankfully has
- 13:12Speaker 1: a bridal stylist. I was confused because she kept complaining
- 13:16Speaker 1: last episode that she had so much to do and
- 13:18Speaker 1: there wasn't someone telling her, you know, hurry up and everything.
- 13:23Speaker 1: And that usually is a wedding day coordinator. And so
- 13:25Speaker 1: I was like, why does she not have one? But
- 13:27Speaker 1: she does have Steven, who is a bridal stylist, who
- 13:30Speaker 1: I guess Kleinfeld sent, who's a very nice, very cute, lovely,
- 13:34Speaker 1: beautiful man with lip gloss, honey. And he basically just
- 13:38Speaker 1: puts the dress on for her. And the dress feels
- 13:41Speaker 1: very Panina Tornay. And he laces it. And then Joanne's
- 13:45Speaker 1: so happy that, honey, she doesn't have to do that.
- 13:48Speaker 1: She's so happy that her daughter had the right, I guess,
- 13:53Speaker 1: like instinct to have someone else be in the room
- 13:58Speaker 1: to dress her so that she could just sit there
- 14:00Speaker 1: and drink her champagne and look at it. I don't
- 14:02Speaker 1: want to, like, fuck up her fingers by lacing a corset.
- 14:06Speaker 1: but they will leave the venue or leave to go
- 14:10Speaker 1: to the venue in fur coats. They aren't real fur. So,
- 14:17Speaker 1: but they do give mafia wives in a way that
- 14:21Speaker 1: I was so happy about. Oh my gosh. You can
- 14:24Speaker 1: tell that if you were cold, the coziness of the
- 14:29Speaker 1: fur that Marissa's wearing is, over her white dress would
- 14:32Speaker 1: be a dream come true. And Joanne looks really happy.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Everyone looks really happy. And I'm again, this is happening
- 14:41Speaker 1: and it's good. So in the limo, she's with her
- 14:50Speaker 1: mom and her two sons. Derek says that he wants
- 14:53Speaker 1: to have some champagne. She says, no. I'm like, I
- 14:56Speaker 1: bet you'll give him a little taste though. He's just
- 14:58Speaker 1: the age where you'll give him like a little like gulp,
- 15:00Speaker 1: see what it's like. grandma is a cool grandma and
- 15:05Speaker 1: is like hey cole six seven and cole's face honey
- 15:09Speaker 1: she's like he's like i love it grandma they get
- 15:15Speaker 1: married on the 7th of november i saw one of
- 15:19Speaker 1: their guests is wearing the most beautiful gold dress that
- 15:25Speaker 1: i just took a picture of it and i was
- 15:27Speaker 1: like i want that gold dress look at this gold
- 15:29Speaker 1: dress can i have that gold dress who's this lady?
- 15:33Speaker 1: Can I have that gold dress? Even the girl in
- 15:36Speaker 1: front of her is looking in that the girl in
- 15:37Speaker 1: front of her is wearing another beautiful metallic dress, which
- 15:41Speaker 1: I also love, but she's looking back at the other
- 15:43Speaker 1: girl being like, can I have that dress too? Girl,
- 15:45Speaker 1: where'd you get that dress? Okay. His mom, Maria Taddy
- 15:52Speaker 1: comes in, tells him that he looks handsome, looks lovely,
- 15:57Speaker 1: kind of like pats his back gently. which is like
- 16:00Speaker 1: a soothing thing. Oh my God. Honey, I found a
- 16:06Speaker 1: new person on TikTok I love. It's this singer that
- 16:09Speaker 1: pats her baby's back and butt to the tune of
- 16:14Speaker 1: whatever she's singing. And she does like Disney songs. So
- 16:17Speaker 1: like she has this brand new baby and she's like
- 16:19Speaker 1: patting this baby and she has like a beautiful voice.
- 16:21Speaker 1: And she's like, like not going to be able to
- 16:23Speaker 1: do it this well or whatever, God bless. But she's like,
- 16:25Speaker 1: look for the bed necessities. Like, okay, but it's like
- 16:30Speaker 1: so much better than me. And she's like tapping her,
- 16:32Speaker 1: you know, she's like using percussion. to gently rock baby
- 16:36Speaker 1: to bed. And it's such cute TikTok videos. And when
- 16:40Speaker 1: his mom did that, I was like, oh my God. Yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 1: that's what moms do, honey. So he's worried because, you know,
- 16:50Speaker 1: she's always on time, Marissa, but she's late and she's
- 16:53Speaker 1: not texting him. So like what's happening? And the officiant
- 16:56Speaker 1: gets there and guess what? Marissa comes on time. So now,
- 17:00Speaker 1: you know, they're all together standing at the altar and
- 17:03Speaker 1: the officiant in what looks like a Bowery cap. Like
- 17:06Speaker 1: she literally is going to take your luggage and she
- 17:09Speaker 1: works at the Bowery in New York. How fun. And
- 17:14Speaker 1: Edward is nervous and he is nervous to do his vows.
- 17:18Speaker 1: And so they're like, just do it in Spanish. And
- 17:21Speaker 1: he does. And they're great. It's so interesting. I've been
- 17:27Speaker 1: in like acting workshops or classes with like amazing people
- 17:34Speaker 1: who speak many different languages and English is like the
- 17:38Speaker 1: second or third. And they, for whatever reason, the exercise
- 17:44Speaker 1: is requiring them to just like a vessel, you know,
- 17:47Speaker 1: give of information without like being self-conscious or editing or
- 17:52Speaker 1: thinking about things. And obviously if you're translating multiple languages
- 17:57Speaker 1: in your head, that's a harder thing to do. And so, um,
- 18:00Speaker 1: I've watched people not be able to do it because
- 18:03Speaker 1: it's fucking hard. And then just when given the direction
- 18:08Speaker 1: to just do it in their favorite language, to watch
- 18:13Speaker 1: someone just, yeah, obviously, do what everyone else is doing
- 18:19Speaker 1: because they don't have to work even fucking harder to
- 18:22Speaker 1: do it at a different level and then just kind
- 18:24Speaker 1: of can experience the ease of what this moment can be.
- 18:28Speaker 1: It's so great. I'm so happy for him. They obviously
- 18:33Speaker 1: get married. It's nice. The boys are like, you know,
- 18:35Speaker 1: why is that that bad? We can't tell you why
- 18:37Speaker 1: we don't like, we, we like him or don't like him.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Like not specifically, but he's not that bad. We like
- 18:42Speaker 1: him and a dog. Um, Joanne comes over and he's like,
- 18:51Speaker 1: my family thinks that you're beautiful. And she was like,
- 18:56Speaker 1: I think they're smart. Then you realize how much Joanne
- 19:00Speaker 1: and Marissa are very similar. They aren't gracious people. And
- 19:10Speaker 1: you know what? You don't have to be all the time.
- 19:13Speaker 1: But there is this, they're not warm, gracious people. demure people.
- 19:21Speaker 1: And there's like all, there's three different adjectives I've used.
- 19:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now that I've had multiple
- 19:27Speaker 1: women in my life pull me aside and be like,
- 19:29Speaker 1: you have to be more demure. Which is funny because
- 19:35Speaker 1: then we had this guy, honey, get famous on Instagram
- 19:37Speaker 1: for just calling him, you know, being like demure and
- 19:40Speaker 1: like hilarious. That's, what are you, my Arabic aunts my
- 19:43Speaker 1: whole life? Um, be mindful, be demure. Not me. I'm
- 19:47Speaker 1: not it. But it's interesting. There is no grace, great.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Like there's no graceful way to take that compliment in
- 19:58Speaker 1: a way that like is going to be known to
- 20:02Speaker 1: these women. It's funny because even the way Marissa talks
- 20:09Speaker 1: to Edward, if Edward says something, she's like, nope, try again.
- 20:13Speaker 1: It's quick and somewhat diminishing and somewhat insulting and condescending.
- 20:21Speaker 1: But she, I think, registers it as just being like
- 20:27Speaker 1: playful and like teasing. I don't know if he does.
- 20:37Speaker 1: But her mom is just like that. Then they have
- 20:41Speaker 1: a quick picture of her mom and then her stepdad.
- 20:45Speaker 1: And in this picture, I was like, you know what?
- 20:46Speaker 1: Her stepdad looks like the love child of John Lithgow.
- 21:00Speaker 1: And is this Dennis Hopper? Is that what this person's
- 21:02Speaker 1: name is? From Silence of the Lambs? Doesn't he look
- 21:06Speaker 1: just like these men? Look at that man. Signs of
- 21:10Speaker 1: the Lambs. Look at Jonathan Lukau. Look at that man.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I don't want to be like, are all white men
- 21:18Speaker 1: the same? But I mean, my God. Okay. It's not
- 21:25Speaker 1: Dennis Hopper. It's something else. Dennis Hopper is a different person. Oh, no.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I'm going to look up. You know who I'm talking about. Okay.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I'm moving on. Okay. You know, Chianti, fava beans, Thomas
- 21:42Speaker 1: and Paola. Okay. This is so weird. So he's there
- 21:45Speaker 1: at his wedding and his dad just shows up like
- 21:47Speaker 1: his dad is like, sorry, I just decided to come in, honey.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I just boarded a Southwest flight, but I wasn't going
- 21:53Speaker 1: to come in the morning. He's like, dad, didn't know
- 21:55Speaker 1: you're going to make it, but he is there. Dad's wife, Rini,
- 21:59Speaker 1: nowhere to be found. Also, I don't think his mom's there.
- 22:04Speaker 1: So all of that. And are you at least, having
- 22:08Speaker 1: made us watch episodes with the drama about it, going
- 22:13Speaker 1: to wrap up those loose ends or tell us what
- 22:15Speaker 1: happened with all of that? None of they fiance producers? No. No.
- 22:24Speaker 1: So weird. Now, to his dad, he says that he's
- 22:30Speaker 1: nervous because, you know, it's a big step. He tells
- 22:38Speaker 1: his dad he doesn't know if she's going to even
- 22:41Speaker 1: show up to this wedding or if she even likes
- 22:42Speaker 1: him because some of the words that she uses makes
- 22:45Speaker 1: her seem like she's just thinking about herself. And his
- 22:48Speaker 1: dad's like, no, no, no, no, no. She's just independent
- 22:50Speaker 1: and you wouldn't want a clingy woman. I'm like, boy,
- 22:56Speaker 1: do these parents want their children married. Okay. Then the
- 23:03Speaker 1: dad goes, you know what? You don't have to worry
- 23:05Speaker 1: because two things are going to happen, buddy. Two things.
- 23:10Speaker 1: She's not going to show up. You're not going to
- 23:12Speaker 1: have to worry about it. Or she is going to
- 23:16Speaker 1: show up. Sorry. She is going to show up. And
- 23:19Speaker 1: you just worry about it for the rest of your life.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Then you make it work and you just keep worrying. So. Okay. Okay.
- 23:34Speaker 1: We cut to her. She's like, I can't lie. I
- 23:35Speaker 1: can't lie. I have doubts with my relationship with Thomas
- 23:38Speaker 1: and I'm having a hard time thinking about aligning our
- 23:43Speaker 1: future together. It's been stressful. We're like, oh my God, girl. Okay.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Her sister comes in, Jacqueline wearing raspberry, like a raspberry
- 23:52Speaker 1: toned dress and chandelier earrings. And then her sister-in-law Giselle
- 23:56Speaker 1: and the nieces, and she's wearing gloves, which makes me happy.
- 23:58Speaker 1: She's like, to her nieces, she's like, should I marry
- 24:01Speaker 1: this gringo? And then the nieces are like, yeah. So
- 24:08Speaker 1: she's like, okay. Let's go. Off to the wedding chapel.
- 24:16Speaker 1: We're like, oh. And I'm saying this because, A, I couldn't, I, well,
- 24:24Speaker 1: I'm single now. So why would the fuck would I
- 24:26Speaker 1: ever get married to someone who on my wedding day,
- 24:28Speaker 1: I can't tell whether that person wants to marry me.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And also, What the fuck would happen if I thought
- 24:35Speaker 1: I could get married to someone where I'm still deciding
- 24:38Speaker 1: whether I should marry them day of, knowing that that's
- 24:40Speaker 1: going to be broadcast to every person that person's known,
- 24:43Speaker 1: their whole family on TV, seeing that I could have
- 24:47Speaker 1: taken or leaving him up to the very moment. I
- 24:49Speaker 1: just decided to like take him this today. But let's
- 24:56Speaker 1: just say that he is resistible. He's simply resistible, you know. Um,
- 25:05Speaker 1: he cries though, when he gives his like fate filled
- 25:08Speaker 1: vows and she says she loves him, you know, but
- 25:11Speaker 1: she definitely never thought they'd be in love. Uh, when
- 25:15Speaker 1: they were just friends, he's like, I got out of
- 25:18Speaker 1: the friend zone. She's like, I know. I'm assuming that
- 25:27Speaker 1: a lot of people get out of the friend zone. Um,
- 25:31Speaker 1: I am sincerely trying to just be friends with people
- 25:35Speaker 1: and seeing what comes from there. And it's hard though,
- 25:38Speaker 1: if you were, it's hard when you meet people online
- 25:40Speaker 1: to like, keep it chill like that, because I think
- 25:43Speaker 1: that there's more expectations, especially that's why you can mean
- 25:49Speaker 1: if you have sex and all bets are off, but
- 25:50Speaker 1: God bless some, depending on, you know, cause your body makes,
- 25:53Speaker 1: you know, sometimes it's hard to have your body and
- 25:59Speaker 1: your mind aligned. with someone else's body and their mind.
- 26:04Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Then you have a lot
- 26:07Speaker 1: of cooks in the kitchen. Yeah, though, I, it's hard
- 26:16Speaker 1: for me to like get control of my hormones if
- 26:18Speaker 1: I have sex too early. I mean, it's hard for
- 26:20Speaker 1: me to get control of my hormones, period. I'm like Rashid.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I can cry at a drop
- 26:26Speaker 1: of a hat and I'm horny at the, you know,
- 26:36Speaker 1: Drop of a pin. Drop of a hat, drop of
- 26:39Speaker 1: a pin. I don't know. Okay. Sorry. I lost my place.
- 26:52Speaker 1: So he cries. Like I said, she says she loves him,
- 26:55Speaker 1: but she again, didn't know this was going to happen.
- 26:57Speaker 1: And she says, you are my guiding star. No, this
- 27:00Speaker 1: is the, sorry. The Officiant of this wedding has a
- 27:05Speaker 1: cadence where every word has equal measure. You are my
- 27:21Speaker 1: guiding star, my anchor, and my forever. It's an interesting cadence,
- 27:31Speaker 1: Because everything is given such importance that nothing seems important.
- 27:39Speaker 1: The little acting technique, they say. I've heard it from
- 27:44Speaker 1: like different versions. If you ever take a Shakespeare class,
- 27:48Speaker 1: you might hear something like, some words are peaches, some
- 27:55Speaker 1: words are peanuts. And if a word is a peach...
- 28:00Speaker 1: You can really indulge in it. But some words are peanuts.
- 28:08Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Anyway. Okay. So a little
- 28:13Speaker 1: dislike public speaking. Just vary it up. Just so you
- 28:17Speaker 1: can get your point across. Give importance to the words
- 28:23Speaker 1: you want people to take with them. And then, you know,
- 28:26Speaker 1: throw some away. Not everything is important. And some things are.
- 28:30Speaker 1: but not everything, but some things, but not everything. Just
- 28:34Speaker 1: like what I'm doing, that's an example, literally in real time.
- 28:36Speaker 1: She feels stiff. I don't have to tell you, like,
- 28:38Speaker 1: she feels stiff as fuck. I took a picture of
- 28:40Speaker 1: them so you can see. I don't know if you
- 28:41Speaker 1: can tell how stiff she feels when she walks down
- 28:44Speaker 1: this aisle. I don't know if it's just like the
- 28:46Speaker 1: cameras in her face or her shoes are uncomfortable. She
- 28:49Speaker 1: doesn't feel like at ease at home, even though she says,
- 28:54Speaker 1: you know, like they found each other and they're each
- 28:56Speaker 1: other's homes or whatever. And I know that these be
- 28:58Speaker 1: best friends. She just doesn't feel like she is comfortable
- 29:06Speaker 1: at all. But, you know, I don't know. Maybe if
- 29:12Speaker 1: I'd be comfortable on my wedding day, I would like
- 29:14Speaker 1: to think so. I'd like to think that hopefully if
- 29:16Speaker 1: I ever get married, I would have done enough preparation
- 29:19Speaker 1: that on the day of, I can just enjoy it, hopefully,
- 29:22Speaker 1: that I like the person. And I'm not just like
- 29:24Speaker 1: deciding day of whether to marry them. And therefore at
- 29:26Speaker 1: the wedding, I'm like, Now I can get all the presents.
- 29:38Speaker 1: But this is another weird part. and i just don't
- 29:40Speaker 1: know if this is like always it but basically she's
- 29:41Speaker 1: like bye guys bye everyone bye bye and then they
- 29:45Speaker 1: just go on the queen mary and they fuck or
- 29:49Speaker 1: they do that weird cuddle thing where their legs are
- 29:51Speaker 1: intertwined okay asia and maxwell honey it's the morning after
- 29:55Speaker 1: you know the whole wedding the whole the whole thing
- 29:57Speaker 1: and now they fucked it's their morning after and he
- 29:59Speaker 1: says thank you for marrying He has to take off
- 30:03Speaker 1: his little wig parts, which he wore that hat, so
- 30:07Speaker 1: didn't really have to deal with that anyway. The producer
- 30:09Speaker 1: asks her, how was your night last night? And she says,
- 30:13Speaker 1: I can't talk about it where I'm a good Christian woman, sorry.
- 30:16Speaker 1: So then he's in the bathroom and it cuts right there.
- 30:19Speaker 1: The producer's like, how was your night last night? And
- 30:23Speaker 1: Maxwell gives a totally nice answer. He's like, it was
- 30:25Speaker 1: good and he was happy. I love that it's a
- 30:29Speaker 1: known thing that The producers are going to want you
- 30:33Speaker 1: both to separate so that you both can be asked
- 30:37Speaker 1: this question, you know, alone. So after her whole like
- 30:47Speaker 1: diatribe about, you know, she can't talk about it. In
- 30:50Speaker 1: a confessional later, she says that it was like trying
- 30:54Speaker 1: to put a plane in a garage, which we know
- 30:59Speaker 1: means his big ass dick. In her own thing. Mm-hmm.
- 31:12Speaker 1: He really enjoyed that sex, though. And you can really tell.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Unlike Mito. He's like my favorite part of the trip
- 31:18Speaker 1: last night. Mito is like, you know, my favorite part
- 31:22Speaker 1: of New Orleans. Bad acting class. Yes. The first time
- 31:28Speaker 1: I had a Smoothie King smoothie, I've had a couple
- 31:30Speaker 1: of them now, but the first time I had the
- 31:32Speaker 1: grape expectations, oh my God, I was like, yes, welcome
- 31:36Speaker 1: to heaven. New Orleans, these smoothies, the ability to wear
- 31:42Speaker 1: tight pants on Bourbon Street, chef's kiss, I'm in the city,
- 31:48Speaker 1: you know. At the airport, he says he's a strong guy,
- 31:53Speaker 1: but he won't get emotional and goes on to say, baby,
- 31:58Speaker 1: You are my moonlight. She goes, okay. He's like, you
- 32:02Speaker 1: would love my life. She's like, sweetie, I'm your sunlight
- 32:05Speaker 1: and your moonlight. But you could tell the way she said, baby,
- 32:09Speaker 1: you are my moonlight, that she was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I don't want to be that. No, moon is bad.
- 32:16Speaker 1: It's dark. It's like witchy. I'm your sun. I'm the light.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I'm God. God is the sun. Like, you know, you're
- 32:23Speaker 1: just like, oh my God. I want this man to
- 32:25Speaker 1: just express himself. He can't even express what's in his
- 32:28Speaker 1: mind without you having to like hyper fix it, hyper
- 32:30Speaker 1: correct him. Why don't you allow what you want and
- 32:35Speaker 1: what you think should happen to be in your mind?
- 32:39Speaker 1: And then we work on the boundary of what is
- 32:43Speaker 1: just allowing other people to live. I wonder if she
- 32:49Speaker 1: has like obsessive thoughts kind of too in such a way,
- 32:53Speaker 1: except that she can't stop talking about it. Like she
- 32:58Speaker 1: has to get them out in such a way. Like,
- 33:00Speaker 1: you know, it's so interesting. You can almost like, I
- 33:02Speaker 1: felt like her, I felt her anxiety when she said, okay, baby,
- 33:06Speaker 1: I'm your sunlight. Like you could almost like feel like
- 33:09Speaker 1: she started to panic that her idea of moonlight being
- 33:15Speaker 1: not as great as the sun was had to be
- 33:20Speaker 1: remedied in his poem for her. You know what I'm saying? So,
- 33:26Speaker 1: by the way, I love the fucking moon. It's almost
- 33:29Speaker 1: like you're my moonlight. I think that's so sexy. I
- 33:34Speaker 1: want to be someone's moonlight. It's the person you go
- 33:36Speaker 1: to bed with every night. Because I feel like, you know,
- 33:44Speaker 1: it's like, in the day, I don't know when I'm
- 33:47Speaker 1: assuming you're with someone, it's like you have your life
- 33:49Speaker 1: and you have your life with them, you know? And
- 33:53Speaker 1: truly there are people that try and just make them
- 33:55Speaker 1: have everyone one life. But I think that that's kind
- 34:00Speaker 1: of crazy. You have, especially if you didn't get married
- 34:04Speaker 1: like super young, you have all of your wants and
- 34:07Speaker 1: dreams and friends and stuff like that that's your life
- 34:09Speaker 1: like that's you know in the day usually you go
- 34:12Speaker 1: to work or whatever you have your time away from
- 34:14Speaker 1: your lover so it gets it doesn't make sense to
- 34:16Speaker 1: me for your lover romantic thusly to be like sunlight
- 34:21Speaker 1: it makes so much more sense for them to be
- 34:22Speaker 1: your moonlight i'm going to be talking about this she
- 34:29Speaker 1: says she has to remain strong she's not going to
- 34:31Speaker 1: cry in the airport but she's doing it for him
- 34:33Speaker 1: because if she didn't she'd he'd lose his goddamn shit
- 34:38Speaker 1: Then they pray because she has to leave, obviously. And
- 34:43Speaker 1: they did this whole thing to get married so that
- 34:45Speaker 1: they would, you know, have his visa be approved. And
- 34:49Speaker 1: I also found this interesting from my knowledge of Christianity
- 34:54Speaker 1: or praying, which is a Catholic based knowledge, is the
- 34:59Speaker 1: difference in which I pray and the language I use
- 35:08Speaker 1: when I pray, and I'm not saying either one is
- 35:10Speaker 1: better or worse because you could, someone else could be like,
- 35:13Speaker 1: is there a God or is praying even worth it?
- 35:15Speaker 1: I don't even care. So I'm not saying, I'm not
- 35:17Speaker 1: giving a judgment to this, but it's interesting because I
- 35:20Speaker 1: will say this, this is Chris Farah praying for something
- 35:24Speaker 1: and she has in her past and will pray again.
- 35:26Speaker 1: This is me praying. Okay. Dear God slash universe slash
- 35:32Speaker 1: mother Mary, Thank you so much for everything you've given me.
- 35:35Speaker 1: And please, dear God, please, thank you so much. Please
- 35:38Speaker 1: keep my dad healthy. Please, and my family, keep my
- 35:43Speaker 1: family happy and healthy. A, thank you so much. And also,
- 35:47Speaker 1: thank you for everything you've given me. Okay.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Please, can I just, please, can I? I
- 35:59Speaker 1: will do whatever it takes. And I'm so sorry for
- 36:01Speaker 1: everything I've done in my past, but also I promise
- 36:03Speaker 1: to be better in the future. But dear God, please,
- 36:05Speaker 1: I'm so, please give me this sitcom. Please give me
- 36:07Speaker 1: this role. I want it so bad. I've trained so hard. Please,
- 36:10Speaker 1: I will do, please. I would just, I would love it.
- 36:14Speaker 1: And I promise to be better and to do whatever
- 36:17Speaker 1: it takes to make this world better in your image.
- 36:21Speaker 1: And also, thank you. I think it'd be great personally,
- 36:27Speaker 1: if you think so too, Cosign by giving me this thing.
- 36:31Speaker 1: That's Chris Farah praying. This is her praying. Lord, we
- 36:35Speaker 1: are going to get approval on the visa. You are
- 36:38Speaker 1: going to make sure that the next stamp on the
- 36:40Speaker 1: visa will be an approval. God, yes, you are doing
- 36:43Speaker 1: this for us, God. And it's interesting because it's a
- 36:46Speaker 1: little bit like Paola. She is manifesting like the secret
- 36:50Speaker 1: that something has already happened. She is literally visualizing the
- 36:54Speaker 1: visa coming. being stamped with an approval. It's already happened, Lord.
- 36:58Speaker 1: This is happening. I'm seeing the visa. It's you've with
- 37:00Speaker 1: your gracious hand, Lord, you've stamped the visa with an approval.
- 37:04Speaker 1: It's like this manifestation prayer in itself. That's almost like
- 37:08Speaker 1: a demand. Like God, you're going to do this. God,
- 37:11Speaker 1: you've done this. God's doing this. You better. There's no question. I,
- 37:17Speaker 1: my assumption is that this is happening because of you
- 37:20Speaker 1: and because I want it without me giving space for
- 37:26Speaker 1: any other option that God might have in his back
- 37:31Speaker 1: or her back pocket. I don't know about like, you
- 37:33Speaker 1: know what I'm saying? I can't, I'm hoping that you
- 37:37Speaker 1: are making sense of what I'm saying. Her prayer feels
- 37:40Speaker 1: like a ransom note or a demand, but it all,
- 37:46Speaker 1: but listen, a manifestation secret techniques, all of that kind
- 37:49Speaker 1: of like visualization stuff. There's a whole science about it working. Okay. So, uh,
- 37:55Speaker 1: And again, my prayer seems like a fucking measly, you know,
- 37:59Speaker 1: whiny ass, please, please, sad, sad time. So I'm just
- 38:05Speaker 1: so interesting how different they were. Okay. She leaves. He
- 38:11Speaker 1: kind of shakes, you know, he's crying as she walks away. Oh,
- 38:15Speaker 1: my loves, that ends. We didn't have any Shay and Annabelle,
- 38:19Speaker 1: but that ends this episode. Thank you guys so much
- 38:22Speaker 1: for listening. If you haven't yet, please give me five
- 38:24Speaker 1: stars and a review where you tell me good things
- 38:27Speaker 1: about me, make me feel good, give me compliments. Tell
- 38:30Speaker 1: me I'm your moonlight or your sunlight. Tell me whatever
- 38:33Speaker 1: you want about me, good ways, good things, and I
- 38:35Speaker 1: won't correct you. I'll just appreciate you. Mm-hmm. Also, you
- 38:41Speaker 1: can join my Patreon. I am at patreon.com slash chrisferra.

- 38:51Speaker 1: it's free for the 24 hours before anyone else gets them.

- 39:44Speaker 1: other fun lives on Patreon just for subscribers there. I
- 39:48Speaker 1: have docu-series recaps are coming. Did you watch Ray Gunn?
- 39:54Speaker 1: Because that's on my feed. A lot of things happening
- 39:58Speaker 1: in September. Thank you so much for being here and
- 40:00Speaker 1: spending time with me. Let's breathe and we'll let ourselves
- 40:03Speaker 1: go on our merry ways. Oh, feels good. Two breaths.
- 40:08Speaker 1: In the present time, give yourself this moment. Don't do
- 40:10Speaker 1: it for me, but do it for you because, you know,
- 40:12Speaker 1: this could be maybe the only time that you practice
- 40:16Speaker 1: present mindful meditation. It might be. I'm hoping it's not.
- 40:21Speaker 1: But for me today, as I record this, it will be.
- 40:25Speaker 1: So I'm doing it for me. But you don't do
- 40:30Speaker 1: it for me. You do it for you. Because it
- 40:33Speaker 1: is a practice where you can control your mind at
- 40:36Speaker 1: the end of the day. And it's better to control
- 40:39Speaker 1: your mind and your reactions. Control your thoughts. You know
- 40:41Speaker 1: what I'm saying? Be able to move through this world
- 40:44Speaker 1: with the either grace or capability or power yeah, the
- 40:49Speaker 1: pattern in which you want to do it, might as
- 40:51Speaker 1: well help yourself hold your heart or just feel where
- 40:56Speaker 1: you're sitting, feet on the floor, just a tangible groundedness
- 41:00Speaker 1: to what is happening in real time. Then you're going
- 41:03Speaker 1: to use my breath, sorry, you're going to use your
- 41:05Speaker 1: breath or the sound of my voice to be here now,
- 41:10Speaker 1: right with us currently. not thinking about the past and
- 41:16Speaker 1: certainly not planning the future, but just giving yourself this
- 41:19Speaker 1: weird practice of not judging if it's hard, but just
- 41:24Speaker 1: trying without worrying about success, just trying for the art
- 41:29Speaker 1: of it to be present with me. Okay, blowing it out,
- 41:33Speaker 1: doing it. Two breaths, two shots, even more in the micro-moments.
- 42:07Speaker 1: All right, babes, take care of yourselves and one another.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Stand up for what you believe and make art. And
- 42:12Speaker 1: I'll talk to you later.
