0:00
Speaker 1: All right.
0:00
Speaker 2: So I got to tell you, I got beef with Uber, right? Yeah,
0:02
Speaker 2: I think it was Uber. I don't know. I was
0:04
Speaker 2: an Uber Lyft. I'm one of them. I got beef
0:06
Speaker 2: with all of them. So yesterday, yesterday afternoon, buddies of
0:12
Speaker 2: mine called me. Hey, they left work early. OK, let's
0:15
Speaker 2: go play a little golf. I said, OK, I'll go
0:17
Speaker 2: play a little golf with you.
0:17
Speaker 1: Right.
0:18
Speaker 2: So I go out playing a little golf and they
0:21
Speaker 2: decide that after golf, they want to go have a
0:23
Speaker 2: couple of drinks. Right. So I go to my local
0:25
Speaker 2: watering hole with them. And we're having a few drinks.
0:28
Speaker 2: We're hanging out, you know, starting to get a little busy.
0:32
Speaker 2: Now we're running into people. Now a couple of drinks
0:35
Speaker 2: after golf turned into way too many drinks, and we
0:38
Speaker 2: should have gone home hours ago, right? So, mind you,
0:44
Speaker 2: got a little late. I mean, late was probably, I
0:47
Speaker 2: don't know, we probably got there about 5, 4-ish, maybe 4-ish,
0:52
Speaker 2: and left about 10. maybe around 9, 30, 10-ish, something
0:56
Speaker 2: like that. But we were drinking, just hanging out, having
0:58
Speaker 2: a good time. You know how it goes. You get
0:59
Speaker 2: caught up in the moment, you're hanging out. Anyway, I
1:01
Speaker 2: had too much to drink. So I get me, or
1:05
Speaker 2: I think it was Uber. I get me an Uber and,
1:09
Speaker 2: or Lyft, I don't know, it was one of them.
1:11
Speaker 2: So I get in, right? And I'm going home. And
1:18
Speaker 2: the reason I got beef is because we ended up
1:20
Speaker 2: going through a jack-in-the-box. You get drunk, And all health.
1:28
Speaker 2: I've been trying to eat real well over the last
1:30
Speaker 2: few months, changing my eating habits a little bit. Not
1:33
Speaker 2: crazy crazy, but just trying to avoid fast food, trying
1:36
Speaker 2: to avoid unnecessary food, right? And so I tell the driver, hey,
1:44
Speaker 2: can you run through? Because obviously. He's like, yeah, no problem.
1:49
Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, my God. So I end up buying
1:52
Speaker 2: him some food, buying me some food. And I didn't
1:56
Speaker 2: feel well this morning when I got up. And I
2:00
Speaker 2: know it was because I just ate too much greasy,
2:03
Speaker 2: you know. It didn't make me feel better. So, yeah,
2:08
Speaker 2: Uber got to stop. You guys got to stop, by
2:10
Speaker 2: the way. Car services, you got to stop rolling drunk
2:12
Speaker 2: people through fast food when they're drunk. Just take me home.
2:16
Speaker 2: Next time I'm in a car and I say, let's
2:17
Speaker 2: go to Taco Bell at 2 in the morning, just
2:19
Speaker 2: take me home. I got no business going there, okay? Anyway,
2:23
Speaker 2: but it got me to thinking about some of that.
2:26
Speaker 2: I even woke up and had extra tacos still this
2:29
Speaker 2: morning on my counter. Like I bought so much food.
2:32
Speaker 2: I don't even know what the hell I was thinking.
2:34
Speaker 2: But it got me to thinking of where's your drunk place?
2:36
Speaker 2: Like when you go out and you get drunk, what's
2:40
Speaker 2: your drunk food? Is it a place? Do you go
2:43
Speaker 2: home and cook? I mean, sometimes I'll go home and
2:45
Speaker 2: cook if I know I have food at the house
2:47
Speaker 2: at two in the morning. But when you get drunk,
2:52
Speaker 2: what is it that you get? What is your drunk food?
2:55
Speaker 2: Everybody's done it. You go out drinking. You're drinking too much.
2:59
Speaker 2: You get drunk, right? So you're heading back to the house,
3:03
Speaker 2: but before you head home, you got to stop somewhere
3:06
Speaker 2: and get some food, right? Or maybe you go home
3:09
Speaker 2: and eat. I don't know. I remember one time I
3:13
Speaker 2: was at my buddy's house, and we were drinking, partying,
3:15
Speaker 2: having a great time. I think it turned about 1 a.m.,
3:19
Speaker 2: Everybody was like, we're hungry, we're hungry, we're hungry, right?
3:23
Speaker 2: And so we just went in my boy's freezer, pulled
3:27
Speaker 2: out some ribs and some steaks and just threw them
3:29
Speaker 2: on the grill. Oh, R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. So what is your drunk food?
3:36
Speaker 2: What do you do when you're drunk? What do you eat?
3:38
Speaker 2: You know, you got no business eating it, but we
3:40
Speaker 2: all do it, right? Usually fast food, right? R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. You know,
3:43
Speaker 2: it's got to be Denny's. After a night of drinking
3:49
Speaker 2: at the bar, hanging out at the club, you know
3:51
Speaker 2: you head to Denny's afterwards. I'll tell you something about Denny's.
3:56
Speaker 2: I actually did that one night and went to a
3:58
Speaker 2: Denny's with some friends of mine and didn't eat because,
4:00
Speaker 2: like I said, I've been trying to not eat unnecessarily, right?
4:06
Speaker 2: Not cutting everything out, being real strict on a diet plan,
4:09
Speaker 2: but just eating unnecessary. That's what I cut out. So, yeah. Yeah.
4:16
Speaker 2: All righty, 4, 2, 5, 4, 7, 7. Yo, Rome,
4:19
Speaker 2: back in the day, we would go out drinking, and
4:22
Speaker 2: my spot was Zingo's. Oh, yeah, Zingo's had a great,
4:27
Speaker 2: Zingo's was a great, but they had really good food.
4:30
Speaker 2: I don't know what it's like now. I haven't been
4:31
Speaker 2: there since they've gotten new owners, but Zingo's had really
4:34
Speaker 2: good food. That wasn't, that didn't just, you didn't just
4:38
Speaker 2: need to be drunk to eat Zingo's. Zingo's was good.
4:40
Speaker 2: All righty, 4, 2, 5, 4, 7, 7. So like
4:44
Speaker 2: I said, man, where did you go? What did you do?
4:46
Speaker 2: You drink too much. You're drunk. And for some reason,
4:51
Speaker 2: we always eat. We always eat. And it's always something
4:54
Speaker 2: we have no business eating. Already 4, 2, 5, 4, 7, 7. Yo, Rome. Man,
5:00
Speaker 2: I used to call Taco Pronto. We'd be messed up
5:03
Speaker 2: at the house. Taco Pronto would be there in an hour.
5:07
Speaker 2: That's funny. That's pretty funny. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. Like I said, man,
5:12
Speaker 2: when you get drunk, what do you eat? Well, last
5:14
Speaker 2: night I went out drinking and I drank more than
5:16
Speaker 2: I should have. I didn't mean to. And whoever the driver, Uber, Lyft,
5:20
Speaker 2: I don't know what it was, took me through Jack
5:24
Speaker 2: in the Box. I had no business. I ordered like
5:26
Speaker 2: 30 things, ate some of it, woke up this morning.
5:29
Speaker 2: It was still bags of food on my counter. There
5:32
Speaker 2: was no business. It didn't feel great. Just no business
5:35
Speaker 2: eating it, right? But that's what happens when you drink
5:38
Speaker 2: too much. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. Hey, Rome, my drunk place is In-N-Out.
5:43
Speaker 2: Me and my boys last time bought 25 burgers and
5:47
Speaker 2: ate them all. One night, I'm going to tell you
5:50
Speaker 2: a funny one night, I was out drinking with some
5:52
Speaker 2: friends of mine. And we went to In-N-Out. We didn't
5:57
Speaker 2: know they were closed, so we were just sitting in
5:59
Speaker 2: the drive-thru. Couldn't figure out why we were the only
6:02
Speaker 2: ones in the drive-thru. Took us a little bit, but
6:04
Speaker 2: we figured it out. Good morning, Al. What's going on?
6:08
Speaker 1: My go-to place is La Vila.
6:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, we used to do that back in the day.
6:16
Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
6:17
Speaker 4: The tacos there and the asada burritos or the asada fries.
6:24
Speaker 4: When you are drunk.
6:25
Speaker 1: And then the thing is, if you're just a little.
6:28
Speaker 2: Bit drunk and you want to get a little bit
6:30
Speaker 2: more drunk, they.
6:31
Speaker 4: Come with the lemon. You got the lemon.
6:32
Speaker 2: You go get some more tequila.
6:36
Speaker 1: So, yeah. It's all in all. You get the food.
6:39
Speaker 4: You get the partner.
6:40
Speaker 1: The companion to your liquor. If you want some more,
6:43
Speaker 1: some lemon.
6:43
Speaker 2: All right. Well, thanks for calling. Later.
6:45
Speaker 4: Later.
6:46
Speaker 2: Yeah, somebody else texted me and said, hey, Romeo, my
6:49
Speaker 2: drunk food is either La Via or Jack in the Box.
6:51
Speaker 2: You know, I forgot the spot. By the way, this
6:54
Speaker 2: is a little old school. Some of you guys might
6:57
Speaker 2: not know this spot. But the old school spot, old
7:01
Speaker 2: school drunk spot, line every night was Wing Wah. Wing Wah?
7:09
Speaker 2: My boy, when I first moved to Bakersfield, one of
7:11
Speaker 2: my buddies came down to visit me. And we were
7:14
Speaker 2: out drinking. He goes, where are we going next? I said,
7:17
Speaker 2: we're going to go right across the street to Wing Wall.
7:20
Speaker 2: He goes, what? Never seen that before. Yeah, Wing Wall. R-8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
7:24
Speaker 2: That's old school, though.
7:27
Speaker 3: R-8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
7:28
Speaker 2: Where's your drunk spot? You know, you get drunk. What
7:31
Speaker 2: do you eat? Maybe you go home and cook. I
7:32
Speaker 2: don't know. Last night, yeah, I did a little too much.
7:35
Speaker 2: Went a little hard last night with my friends and
7:38
Speaker 2: ended up rolling through Jack in the Box. And I just, man,
7:42
Speaker 2: I Got me to thinking, man, every time you get drunk, right,
7:46
Speaker 2: there's something you go to. There's some go-to food you
7:49
Speaker 2: just got to have. We got no business eating it.
7:52
Speaker 2: You know you got no business eating it. I had
7:54
Speaker 2: no business. I bought way too much. I still got
7:57
Speaker 2: food on the counter I'm going to throw away when
7:58
Speaker 2: I get home because I didn't need 40 tacos or
8:01
Speaker 2: whatever silliness I got. And I shouldn't have even gone there.
8:05
Speaker 4: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
8:06
Speaker 2: But everybody goes out drinking sometimes. Or every time. You
8:12
Speaker 2: stop somewhere. Morning, how's it going on?
8:14
Speaker 4: Top of the morning, Mr.
8:15
Speaker 3: Romeo!
8:16
Speaker 2: What up, my man? Hey, man, you don't remember back
8:20
Speaker 2: in the days, man, we.
8:21
Speaker 4: Used to go get the three crunchy tacos for 99
8:24
Speaker 4: cents at Del Taco? Man, they give me the worstest gas, remember?
8:31
Speaker 2: I remember.
8:34
Speaker 4: That's how you knew we all ate Del Taco, man.
8:36
Speaker 4: We would get half of it, man.
8:38
Speaker 2: For a dollar, man. That's awesome. That's awesome.
8:42
Speaker 4: Yeah, man, but, you know, now you got to hear
8:45
Speaker 4: La Villa on Union by the Train Track. That one
8:48
Speaker 4: stays cracking, man.
8:49
Speaker 2: Oh, that one is the one.
8:50
Speaker 1: You're right.
8:51
Speaker 2: You're right.
8:51
Speaker 4: That's the one you hear that late at night.
8:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, and that hot sauce is good for just getting
8:58
Speaker 2: that once you're drunk. Oh, man.
9:01
Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, and you're going to wake up the next
9:02
Speaker 4: morning still tasting it.
9:04
Speaker 2: All right. What about it? All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7-8, you
9:10
Speaker 2: having cheese fans? I get some McDonald's. Me and my
9:13
Speaker 2: wife pick up the kids from the parents, and we'll
9:16
Speaker 2: go to the drive-thru drunk and get them happy meals,
9:19
Speaker 2: and we order food as well. Okay. Okay. I got
9:27
Speaker 2: to be honest with you. McDonald's has never crossed my
9:31
Speaker 2: mind after drinking. I don't know why it's never crossed
9:34
Speaker 2: my mind. We're talking about drunk foods, right? You get
9:36
Speaker 2: drunk and we always eat. We got no business eating,
9:39
Speaker 2: but we always go somewhere. It's always something bad. Always
9:42
Speaker 2: something bad. We've talked about being out of town. I
9:46
Speaker 2: can tell you a couple of stories about being out
9:47
Speaker 2: of town and having late night partying. And you're trying
9:52
Speaker 2: to scramble because you don't have no spot. You don't
9:54
Speaker 2: know you're from a different town.
9:56
Speaker 1: Right?
9:56
Speaker 2: I was trying to think. One night we ordered this.
10:00
Speaker 2: found some pizza spot, ordered everything to the hotel. And,
10:04
Speaker 2: you know, there's a lot of towns out there, unlike Bakersfield,
10:07
Speaker 2: that's prepared for that, right? Late night spots because, you know,
10:09
Speaker 2: people are out partying. Yeah, being out of town is crazy.
10:14
Speaker 2: Those are other stories. When you were drunk out of town,
10:17
Speaker 2: you know, I was in Paso one time, And there
10:20
Speaker 2: was a taco dude out in front of Pappy McGregor's. Boy. Yeah.
10:26
Speaker 2: Sometimes you eat stuff you shouldn't. I'm trying to think
10:28
Speaker 2: of all the different things I've done. Anyway. All right. 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
10:32
Speaker 2: Good morning. How's it going on? Yo, Ro. What up, man?
10:37
Speaker 1: Hey.
10:38
Speaker 4: I know what you're talking about. The In-N-Out thing.
10:40
Speaker 1: When it's the parking lot, it happened to us.
10:44
Speaker 2: We drove up. So we drove up to In-N-Out. And
10:48
Speaker 2: what was bad was... There was four of us. Right.
10:51
Speaker 2: And my buddy's wife was driving. She was sober and
10:55
Speaker 2: we were wasted. So she had three drunk fools with
10:59
Speaker 2: her and she she didn't even notice that we got
11:03
Speaker 2: we got to in and out. We thought, oh, man,
11:05
Speaker 2: the line isn't busy. Let's go. We're ready. But it
11:08
Speaker 2: was close. Yeah, we sat there. The people were still
11:11
Speaker 2: in there cleaning up. We just sat there.
11:15
Speaker 4: You're like, hey, let's make animal style.
11:17
Speaker 2: Everything, bro. Yeah. We look like idiots sitting in the drive-thru.
11:21
Speaker 2: Only one in the drive-thru. It didn't register that they
11:25
Speaker 2: were closed because nobody was in. It always has a
11:27
Speaker 2: full drive-thru. What made us think we got that lucky?
11:32
Speaker 4: All the actual workers came on. They're like, hey, we're closed.
11:36
Speaker 4: You know that, right?
11:37
Speaker 2: Oh, that's great. All right, man. Thanks for calling. I'm
11:40
Speaker 2: glad I'm not the only idiot. But that was the
11:43
Speaker 2: worst part. We had a sober driver. She still didn't recognize.
11:48
Speaker 2: My go-to spot when I'm drunk is Taco Bell. Oh
11:54
Speaker 2: my God, it's so delicious. Shout out to Wasco. Yeah,
11:58
Speaker 2: Taco Bell. That's another spot. Man, but yeah. Yeah, I
12:02
Speaker 2: agree with you. Egg rolls, tacos, I mean... You know
12:11
Speaker 2: what the bad part about Bakersfield is? And I learned
12:13
Speaker 2: this a few weeks ago. Bakersfield doesn't have a place
12:18
Speaker 2: to go late at night that has good food. You
12:21
Speaker 2: know what I'm saying? Like, sometimes you just don't want
12:23
Speaker 2: fast food. You want to eat, but you don't want
12:25
Speaker 2: fast food. Bakersfield doesn't have a spot that stays open
12:28
Speaker 2: late that has good food. You know? A higher quality
12:31
Speaker 2: of food. What'd you text me here? It says, hey, Rome.
12:36
Speaker 2: I was hoping you could help me. Hey, there's this
12:38
Speaker 2: hot guy that I work with. and I've been wanting
12:41
Speaker 2: to hook up with him, but he's had a girlfriend,
12:44
Speaker 2: and I found out she broke up with him a
12:46
Speaker 2: week or so ago. I think this is my chance
12:49
Speaker 2: to get some from him. My friends say I can't.
12:53
Speaker 2: It would make me look like a hoe, and he
12:56
Speaker 2: wouldn't be interested. What do you think? I'm not looking
12:59
Speaker 2: for a relationship.
13:00
Speaker 4: Well, I mean.
13:05
Speaker 2: Um, I think your friends are idiots. I think you,
13:08
Speaker 2: I think your friends are wrong. Do your friends want
13:11
Speaker 2: him by any chance? Is there a chance that your
13:13
Speaker 2: friends want to hook up with them? Because for your
13:15
Speaker 2: friends to tell you that and discourage you from what
13:19
Speaker 2: I would consider the perfect time for you to take
13:22
Speaker 2: your shot, if you're not looking for a relationship and
13:24
Speaker 2: you just want to, you know, have fun for a
13:27
Speaker 2: while with him, then yeah, that's the perfect time. He
13:31
Speaker 2: needs to heal. He needs help. He needs, you know,
13:33
Speaker 2: he needs somebody to be their shoulder to cry on. And,
13:36
Speaker 2: you know, why not? You know, here's the problem with
13:42
Speaker 2: a lot of people, especially when it comes to women.
13:46
Speaker 2: You're not a hoe. If you want to hook up
13:48
Speaker 2: with a guy that you think is attractive and you're
13:51
Speaker 2: hot and he's hot or whatever, you guys are whatever.
13:54
Speaker 2: you know, attracted to each other and you just want
13:56
Speaker 2: to hook up, there's nothing wrong with that. I mean,
13:59
Speaker 2: not every relationship is supposed to be a long-term relationship,
14:06
Speaker 2: you know? Now, look, I'm not saying go out with
14:09
Speaker 2: six guys or six girls in one night, but what
14:12
Speaker 2: I'm saying is having something for a couple of weeks
14:17
Speaker 2: or a couple of months that's just strictly superficial and
14:21
Speaker 2: that's strictly something, you know, having a good time There's
14:25
Speaker 2: nothing wrong with that. People need that, you know? And especially,
14:30
Speaker 2: I don't know how old you are, but especially if
14:33
Speaker 2: you're not ready for a relationship, what does that mean?
14:37
Speaker 2: And I don't know, are your friends in relationships? Is
14:40
Speaker 2: that why what's going on? But here's the problem with
14:43
Speaker 2: a lot of people. You think that somebody's a hoe
14:49
Speaker 2: because they just want to have short-term relationships and Because
14:53
Speaker 2: that's all they're ready for right now. You don't look
14:56
Speaker 2: at that side of it. You don't look at the
14:58
Speaker 2: fact that maybe that's all they have time for in
15:01
Speaker 2: their life right now is short-term relationships or superficial relationships
15:07
Speaker 2: because you don't know what's going on. She might have
15:10
Speaker 2: a career. I have no idea. So you have no idea.
15:14
Speaker 2: Not every relationship is meant to be forever. It's not.
15:22
Speaker 2: And when people, people just, what in the hell is
15:27
Speaker 2: wrong with you? Don't leave her alone. You're fine. No,
15:31
Speaker 2: take your shot. You know, this is a perfect time
15:34
Speaker 2: for you to take your shot. He's going through something.
15:36
Speaker 2: He just got dumped. He probably needs a shoulder to
15:39
Speaker 2: cry on and a bed to lie in. And you
15:41
Speaker 2: could be that if that's what you're looking for. Don't
15:44
Speaker 2: listen to your friends. Check this out. This is what
15:46
Speaker 2: this woman sent me. She says, hey, Roma, I was
15:47
Speaker 2: hoping you could help me out. There's this hot guy
15:50
Speaker 2: that I work with. I've been wanting to hook up
15:52
Speaker 2: with him, but he's had a girlfriend. I found out
15:55
Speaker 2: she broke up with him a week or so ago.
15:57
Speaker 2: I think this is my chance to get some from him.
16:01
Speaker 2: My friends say I can't. It would make me look
16:03
Speaker 2: like a hoe, and he wouldn't be interested. What do
16:06
Speaker 2: you think? I'm not looking for a relationship. Well, if
16:07
Speaker 2: you're not looking for a relationship, then no. Why are
16:10
Speaker 2: your friends betting against you? That's the problem. I think
16:14
Speaker 2: your friends are wrong, and I think this is a
16:16
Speaker 2: great time for you to take your shot, get what
16:18
Speaker 2: you want out of it, and you'll probably make him
16:20
Speaker 2: feel better, build up his self-esteem. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Good morning. What's
16:27
Speaker 2: going on?
16:28
Speaker 1: Hey, what's up, Roman?
16:29
Speaker 2: What up, Roman?
16:30
Speaker 3: Man, I agree with you, bro.
16:32
Speaker 1: Are the friends wanting you?
16:35
Speaker 4: Because, I mean, why is she going.
16:36
Speaker 1: To be with you if you want to hook up
16:37
Speaker 1: with them?
16:39
Speaker 2: I have no idea. I didn't get that. They didn't
16:43
Speaker 2: tell me that. She didn't tell me why. But, yeah,
16:47
Speaker 2: there ain't nothing wrong, girl.
16:48
Speaker 3: Shoot your shot.
16:48
Speaker 4: There ain't nothing wrong with it. I mean, he's single,
16:51
Speaker 4: especially you waited until he was single. I mean, come on.
16:54
Speaker 3: Why are you looking bad?
16:55
Speaker 4: You're even looking better like that.
16:56
Speaker 2: You would think so, but I guess you're funny.
16:58
Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
16:59
Speaker 4: But, hey, bro, like I always say, haters are going
17:01
Speaker 4: to hate, and some of those are in your group.
17:02
Speaker 4: You know what I mean? So, she don't need to
17:07
Speaker 4: listen to anybody, not even us. She knows what to do.
17:10
Speaker 4: She's got it going. I mean, just do your.
17:12
Speaker 2: Thing, bro. Yeah. Shoot your shot.
17:14
Speaker 3: Don't worry about anybody else because 90% of them people
17:17
Speaker 3: are going to hate on you.
17:19
Speaker 2: All right, brother. Later, man.
17:20
Speaker 4: Later, bro.
17:20
Speaker 2: All right, man. He's not wrong.
17:22
Speaker 3: I mean.
17:23
Speaker 2: You waited till his girlfriend broke up with him. He's hot.
17:26
Speaker 2: You're into him. If he's into you, take your shot.
17:28
Speaker 2: Now's a good time. You might even do him a
17:31
Speaker 2: favor and help him heal after being dumped. I mean,
17:35
Speaker 2: you might be doing a solid for this dude. And
17:38
Speaker 2: if you're not looking for, the problem is you guys
17:42
Speaker 2: are so dumb.
17:44
Speaker 4: Rd425477.
17:44
Speaker 2: Hey, Romeo, how can you tell people to date without, without,
17:49
Speaker 2: Without taking into consideration it being a long-term relationship, you're
17:54
Speaker 2: never going to give it your all if you think
17:56
Speaker 2: it's just a fling. That's not how it works. That's
18:02
Speaker 2: not how it works at all. You go into it
18:05
Speaker 2: with a carefree attitude. and it turns into something more
18:09
Speaker 2: than that based on the enjoyment of the relationship. If
18:14
Speaker 2: you go into every relationship thinking that person is the one,
18:20
Speaker 2: you're just a psychopath. You're an insecure psychopath. What are
18:24
Speaker 2: you talking about? Romeo, at least she waited for him
18:29
Speaker 2: not to have a girlfriend. Yeah, because these hoes in
18:32
Speaker 2: Bakersfield will be trying to take people's men. You ain't lying.
18:36
Speaker 2: this woman said, Mrs. Hey, Rome, I was hoping you
18:38
Speaker 2: could help me out. There's this hot guy that I
18:41
Speaker 2: work with and I've been wanting to hook up with him,
18:43
Speaker 2: but he has had a, he's had a girlfriend, found
18:45
Speaker 2: out she broke up with him a week or so ago.
18:48
Speaker 2: I think this is my chance to get some from him.
18:51
Speaker 2: My friends say I can't, it would make me look
18:53
Speaker 2: like a hoe and he wouldn't be interested. What do
18:56
Speaker 2: you think? I'm not looking for a relationship. Well, if
18:58
Speaker 2: you're not looking for a relationship, then no, you're, why
19:01
Speaker 2: are your friends betting against you? That's the problem. I
19:04
Speaker 2: think your friends are wrong, and I think this is
19:06
Speaker 2: a great time for you to take your shot, get
19:08
Speaker 2: what you want out of it, and you'll probably make
19:11
Speaker 2: him feel better, build up his self-esteem.
19:14
Speaker 4: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
19:14
Speaker 2: Good morning, now. What's going on? Good morning, Romeo. Hey,
19:19
Speaker 2: what's up?
19:21
Speaker 4: Yeah, be careful with these girls in Baker.
19:22
Speaker 1: So don't let ladies know anything about your man or anything.
19:27
Speaker 1: Don't worry about my life real quick. I had a.
19:32
Speaker 3: Family member who broke up with a boyfriend.
19:34
Speaker 1: And I had told her that there's a guy that
19:37
Speaker 1: I was being with.
19:38
Speaker 2: And come to find out two weeks later that or
19:41
Speaker 2: three weeks later that they.
19:42
Speaker 1: Were looking up, they became boys and girlfriends. And they
19:48
Speaker 1: were with each other, I think, a year.
19:50
Speaker 4: And they broke up.
19:51
Speaker 1: And she went right back to this other, the one
19:53
Speaker 1: right before this one.
19:54
Speaker 2: So I feel like it's like a waste of time
19:56
Speaker 2: sometimes for people.
19:57
Speaker 3: They do rush into stuff.
19:59
Speaker 1: Like, you know, you need to wait. When you break
20:03
Speaker 1: up with somebody, wait. I'm not talking about other people
20:06
Speaker 1: to wait on. The people that get broken up, like, hey,
20:09
Speaker 1: if you want, take your chance.
20:10
Speaker 2: Take your damn chance. But.
20:12
Speaker 1: As far as jumping.
20:13
Speaker 2: Into relationships, like you just said, you have a mental
20:16
Speaker 2: issue problem. Oh, yeah. You've got to go into a
20:21
Speaker 2: carefree and just, hey, whatever happens, happens. And if something happens, oh,
20:26
Speaker 2: my God, something happened. Now we're boyfriend-girlfriend. Now we're in
20:28
Speaker 2: a relationship. Now we're married.
20:30
Speaker 4: Whatever.
20:30
Speaker 2: But if you go into it thinking, this is the
20:32
Speaker 2: person I'm going to marry, I mean, when it doesn't
20:34
Speaker 2: work out, then you're going into the next one thinking
20:36
Speaker 2: the same thing. What kind of psychopath are you? Yep.
20:40
Speaker 4: You see girls be posting, I'm in love.
20:42
Speaker 2: You don't even know what the heck is love. You
20:45
Speaker 2: just met them yesterday.
20:47
Speaker 4: Come on.
20:49
Speaker 2: You're in love, you don't even know where he live
20:50
Speaker 2: or his last name, but you're in love.
20:53
Speaker 4: No, he's still with his baby mama.
20:58
Speaker 2: Hey, you can't be in love if you ain't met
21:00
Speaker 2: his kids yet. Oh, that's hilarious.
21:06
Speaker 1: All right, well, thanks for calling.
21:08
Speaker 2: I appreciate it.
21:09
Speaker 3: Look, man, just so you guys.
21:10
Speaker 2: Know, not every relationship is a long-term relationship, okay? Some
21:12
Speaker 2: relationships are just flings. for a lot of different reasons.
21:35
Speaker 2: When I was in college, this girl I went to
21:38
Speaker 2: college with, she was high society, right? Country club, millionaire parents,
21:43
Speaker 2: multi-multi-millionaire parents, just way out of my league. And you
21:49
Speaker 2: know what? She went slumming, you know. She wanted to
21:53
Speaker 2: hang out, and you know what? I did. But you
21:56
Speaker 2: don't go into it knowing, ah, this is the girl.
21:58
Speaker 2: She's the hottest, richest girl at school. You know, what
22:00
Speaker 2: are you going to do?
22:01
Speaker 1: No.
22:02
Speaker 2: She's way out of my league. There's no way I
22:03
Speaker 2: could ever afford to provide a lifestyle for her that
22:07
Speaker 2: she's used to. The one that her dad provides for her.
22:12
Speaker 2: You know, there's another guy for that. That guy's, there's
22:15
Speaker 2: another guy for that because that's the guy that's going to,
22:18
Speaker 2: and she is. Right now, she's married to some multimillionaire,
22:21
Speaker 2: doesn't work, drives a G-Wagon, does all, you know. I mean,
22:24
Speaker 2: we stayed friends afterwards, but we both knew. We were just, hey,
22:27
Speaker 2: a couple of months, went out for a couple of months,
22:29
Speaker 2: and that's all it was ever going to be You know,
22:34
Speaker 2: I like to party. I have friends that own bars.
22:36
Speaker 2: So she liked to party and hang out, got it
22:37
Speaker 2: out of her system. And now she's, you know, whatever.
22:40
Speaker 2: But you have to know that going in. And that's
22:43
Speaker 2: where a lot of you get, you know, you get
22:45
Speaker 2: messed up because you don't realize not every relationship is
22:50
Speaker 2: happily ever after with a marriage and a kid and
22:53
Speaker 2: a white picket fence, you know, and a Yukon. It's
22:56
Speaker 2: just not how it works. And the sooner you realize that,
23:00
Speaker 2: the better off you'll be. What's going on?
23:03
Speaker 1: What up, Romeo?
23:04
Speaker 2: What up, man?
23:05
Speaker 4: Alright, man, I gotta answer that question, bro. I was
23:08
Speaker 4: thinking about it for a couple minutes, but I got
23:10
Speaker 4: an answer for you.
23:11
Speaker 2: Okay.
23:12
Speaker 4: Alright, so look, if I was a guy and the
23:16
Speaker 4: female broke up with me and there was a girl
23:20
Speaker 4: interested in me and we see each other every day
23:23
Speaker 4: at work or whatever days they work, I would say, hey,
23:27
Speaker 4: let's agree on a place and a time and uh
23:31
Speaker 4: a day and nothing more than just a freaking hookup
23:34
Speaker 4: okay okay and i think.
23:37
Speaker 2: Every man thinks like that i don't i don't think
23:39
Speaker 2: you're original i think every dude thinks like that.
23:42
Speaker 4: Oh yeah most definitely who's not gonna get a a
23:46
Speaker 4: female that is interested in you after especially after a
23:48
Speaker 4: breakup bro i know like take advantage of it dude Yeah,
23:57
Speaker 4: but we don't know how he feels.
23:59
Speaker 2: We just know what she wants to do. So we
24:01
Speaker 2: only got her side of it. He might be down.
24:03
Speaker 2: At least I hope he's down. But we'll see.
24:05
Speaker 4: What happens, I guess. Yeah, that's true.
24:08
Speaker 2: That's true.
24:08
Speaker 4: One more thing.
24:09
Speaker 2: What?
24:10
Speaker 4: Go Broncos.
24:11
Speaker 2: All right. Good morning, Al. What's going on?
24:15
Speaker 4: Romeo, I kind of feel flattered.
24:18
Speaker 1: Uh.
24:20
Speaker 2: It sounds like the lady that's calling is Cecilia.
24:24
Speaker 1: From the bakery department. She's had her eyes on me
24:27
Speaker 1: for a while.
24:27
Speaker 2: You know, at some point, I just got to start
24:34
Speaker 2: hanging up on him. I mean, at some point, I
24:37
Speaker 2: just got to hang up on him. All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7.
24:41
Speaker 2: But I'm with the first guy that called. I mean,
24:42
Speaker 2: if you're a guy, you're probably going to feel flattered
24:44
Speaker 2: that somebody wants you. You're probably going to feel a
24:47
Speaker 2: little better, especially if you just got dumped. It's going
24:49
Speaker 2: to help you with your self-esteem that somebody's been looking
24:51
Speaker 2: at you, right? So as far as she goes, though,
24:55
Speaker 2: her friends are giving her terrible advice. I just don't
24:58
Speaker 2: know why. I just don't know why.
25:00
Speaker 4: Yeah.
25:04
Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, Rome, so you're saying poor people can't be
25:09
Speaker 2: with rich people? Oh, no, no, that's not what I'm saying.
25:12
Speaker 2: I'm just saying that this girl I knew in college,
25:17
Speaker 2: she was rich, rich. I mean, there's a difference between rich,
25:21
Speaker 2: rich and just, you know, upper middle class and middle class.
25:25
Speaker 2: There's a huge gap is what I'm trying to tell
25:28
Speaker 2: you between the life that I... Look at me, I'm
25:30
Speaker 2: a dumb DJ right now. You know, she's living in
25:33
Speaker 2: a multimillion-dollar mansion driving a G-Wagon. I can't even afford
25:36
Speaker 2: to spell G-Wagon, you know? So, I mean, yeah, it
25:40
Speaker 2: was just something that you knew was never going to happen.
25:43
Speaker 2: It was never going to be long-term because, well, now
25:46
Speaker 2: her man is some head fund guy or something that
25:48
Speaker 2: makes millions. I don't make millions. I barely make a thousand. So, yeah, no.
25:55
Speaker 2: I'm not saying it can't happen. I'm just saying it
25:57
Speaker 2: doesn't normally happen. You got to know what you're getting
25:58
Speaker 2: yourself involved in. Hey, what up, bro? Hey, what up, man?
26:02
Speaker 1: Hey, see, this is the problem right here. Okay, there's
26:04
Speaker 1: two scenarios. First of all, homegirl was right. These chicks nowadays,
26:12
Speaker 1: a single girl, she could keep another friend single, right?
26:16
Speaker 2: Yes.
26:16
Speaker 1: They don't want to see each other happier doing better
26:19
Speaker 1: than themselves.
26:20
Speaker 4: Let's get that out of the way.
26:20
Speaker 2: I would agree with that. Okay. All right.
26:22
Speaker 3: So the second part is.
26:26
Speaker 2: Hey, wait, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
26:28
Speaker 2: Just like a fat girl will get a skinny girl
26:31
Speaker 2: fat more than a skinny girl will get a fat
26:33
Speaker 2: girl skinny.
26:36
Speaker 1: Sure, but hold on now, but hold on now.
26:39
Speaker 2: Okay.
26:39
Speaker 1: So what if, hypothetically, let's look at it from the
26:42
Speaker 1: other angle.
26:43
Speaker 3: What if she's okay with sleeping around, no strings attached,
26:48
Speaker 3: and she.
26:49
Speaker 1: Does it pretty often, and maybe it's.
26:51
Speaker 3: Like, hey.
26:52
Speaker 1: You know, you can't be doing that because you're looking
26:54
Speaker 1: like a hoe.
26:55
Speaker 3: Maybe that's what she meant.
26:58
Speaker 2: Maybe, but I.
26:59
Speaker 1: You know, some girls are, you know, some girls are down.
27:03
Speaker 3: They're legit. They won't sleep around. They'll sleep with just
27:05
Speaker 3: one dude.
27:06
Speaker 2: There's girls out there like that. No, I get it,
27:08
Speaker 2: but I don't buy that premise that a single woman
27:11
Speaker 2: who wants to, you know, sleep around, as you put it,
27:14
Speaker 2: makes her a hoe. I don't buy that premise because... No, no, no.
27:18
Speaker 1: I'm saying her friends are telling her that because that's
27:21
Speaker 1: what they're saying she's turning out to be.
27:23
Speaker 2: Well, she's not, though. Her friends are haters. Let's say
27:27
Speaker 2: the friend is a monogamous woman who's married and is
27:29
Speaker 2: trying to tell her how to live her life. She
27:31
Speaker 2: has no business telling her how to live her life.
27:34
Speaker 2: We and you live such different lives, we probably have
27:37
Speaker 2: no business telling each other how to live our lives.
27:39
Speaker 2: You do you, I do me, because we're at different places.
27:43
Speaker 2: And I'm just guessing. But that's what I'm saying about that.
27:46
Speaker 1: Hypothetically, that's probably what her friend was meaning by that,
27:50
Speaker 1: and maybe she's taking it as Oh, she's going to
27:52
Speaker 1: say I'm a hoe.
27:53
Speaker 2: Well, maybe you've been sleeping around a lot and you're
27:56
Speaker 2: telling your friends. She doesn't need to be your friend.
27:59
Speaker 2: A good friend will support you even if you think
28:03
Speaker 2: it's a bad decision. What's a bad decision to you
28:05
Speaker 2: might not be a bad decision to me, okay? Her
28:10
Speaker 2: hooking up with a guy because they're both single is
28:13
Speaker 2: not a bad decision for anybody except somebody who doesn't
28:17
Speaker 2: like the decision. And that person is wrong.
28:21
Speaker 3: I agree.
28:21
Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
28:22
Speaker 1: But maybe it's her friend that's trying to tell.
28:25
Speaker 3: Her this and that.
28:26
Speaker 2: Sure.
28:26
Speaker 1: When in reality, it's like, you don't know, you know?
28:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
28:29
Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
28:30
Speaker 1: Maybe hypothetically, it's her friend calling her a hoe.
28:34
Speaker 3: No sane person is going to tell.
28:36
Speaker 2: We all know what a hoe is.
28:37
Speaker 1: Everybody does.
28:38
Speaker 2: But.
28:38
Speaker 3: I mean, the two longest relationships I've ever been in
28:41
Speaker 3: was me just hooking up with a chick that I've
28:43
Speaker 3: known or, you know, one night, not a one night stand,
28:46
Speaker 3: but the first night we're together, we're together.
28:48
Speaker 2: And, you know, I was.
28:49
Speaker 3: With some of these women for five, six years.
28:51
Speaker 1: And just like you said, it's not always going to
28:54
Speaker 1: work out.
28:55
Speaker 2: They're not always going to work out. All right. All right, man.
28:57
Speaker 2: Appreciate the phone call, brother.
28:58
Speaker 4: All right, brother.
28:59
Speaker 2: Thank you. Later, man. But that's what you got to understand, man.
29:03
Speaker 2: Not every relationship is forever after. Okay? It's not. In fact,
29:09
Speaker 2: most of your relationships should be short-term relationships that may
29:16
Speaker 2: or may not turn into something, may or may not
29:18
Speaker 2: turn into forever after. So, and you guys got to
29:23
Speaker 2: understand that, all right? You'd be a lot happier and
29:27
Speaker 2: you'd make much better decisions if you understood the reality
29:29
Speaker 2: of life as it pertained to relationships. Let's see here.
29:34
Speaker 2: All right, 8, 4, 2, 5, 4, 7 to 7. Hey, Rome.
29:40
Speaker 2: Let's see. She isn't hanging out with the wrong friends.
29:47
Speaker 2: I meant to say she's hanging out with the wrong friends. Oh,
29:49
Speaker 2: she's hanging out with the wrong. She is. Most friends
29:52
Speaker 2: say go for it. And then want to hear the
29:55
Speaker 2: details the next day. But that's what a friend should do.
29:59
Speaker 2: What you think is a bad decision may not be
30:01
Speaker 2: a bad decision for my life. Now, we all know
30:04
Speaker 2: there's some obvious bad decisions. But hey, in the moment,
30:08
Speaker 2: this may be what everybody needs. And just because you
30:11
Speaker 2: don't agree with it as her friend makes you a
30:16
Speaker 2: horrible person because you're telling her you shouldn't do this
30:20
Speaker 2: because you'll look like a hoe. No, she's not going
30:23
Speaker 2: to look like a ho. She looks like a woman
30:25
Speaker 2: who wants to hook up with a guy who is single,
30:29
Speaker 2: who just got dumped. That's going to be, that could
30:34
Speaker 2: be beneficial to both parties. She gets what she wants.
30:37
Speaker 2: He gets a little boost to his ego and all
30:39
Speaker 2: of a sudden he can move forward and everybody's happy.
30:42
Speaker 2: I got to tell you what happened last night, actually early,
30:45
Speaker 2: early this morning. So ridiculous, right? So when I got
30:50
Speaker 2: up this morning at 3, I had three missed messages
30:53
Speaker 2: from like midnight. And I listened to them this morning.
30:57
Speaker 2: And it's one of my buddies, a boy, my boy Ed.
31:00
Speaker 2: He lives down in San Diego, right? Well, he calls me.
31:03
Speaker 2: And I didn't answer, obviously. So he left me three messages.
31:06
Speaker 2: Three times he called me in a row. And he
31:08
Speaker 2: proceeds to tell me about one of our friends, James.
31:10
Speaker 2: So my buddy James, check out. My buddy James and
31:13
Speaker 2: his wife, he caught his wife cheating on him. And
31:17
Speaker 2: they lived here in California and they actually lived in
31:20
Speaker 2: San Diego. That's with my other buddy. Yeah, they lived
31:23
Speaker 2: in the same area. His wife cheated and they had
31:27
Speaker 2: a kid together. Well, James and his wife had a
31:31
Speaker 2: kid together. And so then she ends up cheating on him.
31:37
Speaker 2: And so they split up. They break up. They get divorced. Right.
31:41
Speaker 2: This happened a year, 18 months ago. Something happened maybe
31:44
Speaker 2: two years ago, something like that. Right. So she decides
31:46
Speaker 2: that she's going to go move to, I think it
31:49
Speaker 2: was Michigan is where she lives now. They moved to Michigan, right?
31:52
Speaker 2: Her and her kid are going to move to Michigan. Well,
31:55
Speaker 2: James didn't want to be away from his kid, so
31:57
Speaker 2: he moved also. Not to be with her, not to say,
32:01
Speaker 2: but he just wanted to be around his son. So
32:03
Speaker 2: they moved to Michigan. So this is so ridiculous. So
32:10
Speaker 2: now let me tell you this. A lot of my
32:11
Speaker 2: friends make really good money. They're all college educated dudes,
32:14
Speaker 2: went to, you know, And are very successful. So James
32:17
Speaker 2: just moved his business over to Michigan. Well, apparently his
32:21
Speaker 2: ex had started dating some dude. She was living with him.
32:25
Speaker 2: They were having a relationship. Everything was going great between
32:29
Speaker 2: her and the guy. I guess James said the dude
32:31
Speaker 2: was cool. He didn't even have a problem with him.
32:33
Speaker 2: And his kid being around him. So everything was going great. Well,
32:35
Speaker 2: it turns out she ends up cheating on him. So
32:40
Speaker 2: now she loses her meal ticket with this new guy. Well,
32:45
Speaker 2: now this is where everything got wild and why I
32:48
Speaker 2: got three phone calls in a row from my buddy Ed.
32:52
Speaker 2: Because after this new guy kicked the girl and the
32:57
Speaker 2: kid out of the house, she runs back to my
33:00
Speaker 2: buddy James. And James takes him in, right? This is
33:05
Speaker 2: where my boy Ed is just flipping out. Calls me, oh,
33:08
Speaker 2: you got to call him. You got to talk to him.
33:10
Speaker 2: I can't believe he's doing this. What's wrong? She's going
33:11
Speaker 2: to manipulate him, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. James is
33:17
Speaker 2: 45 years old, okay? He is not some dumb kid.
33:23
Speaker 2: And it sounds to me like he's just trying... Now,
33:25
Speaker 2: I haven't talked to him yet. Like I said, this
33:26
Speaker 2: all just happened today. So I called Ed back this
33:32
Speaker 2: morning when I got up and told him to calm down.
33:34
Speaker 2: What's wrong with you? Relax. Why are you flipping out
33:36
Speaker 2: over James? He's a grown-ass man, you know? And he's obviously...
33:44
Speaker 2: doesn't want his kid on the street. So part of
33:47
Speaker 2: doing that means you got to take in the ex,
33:50
Speaker 2: you know, whore who cheated on you. What are you
33:53
Speaker 2: going to do? Let your kid live on the street?
33:55
Speaker 2: I mean, and then I just thought to myself, why
33:59
Speaker 2: do you care, Ed? Why are you so wound up
34:03
Speaker 2: over this? I understand we've been friends for 20 something years,
34:07
Speaker 2: 20 plus years we've all been friends, probably longer than
34:09
Speaker 2: that since we were in high school. But What in
34:14
Speaker 2: the hell is wrong with you, man? Why do you care?
34:18
Speaker 2: He's a grown-ass man. He'll be fine. Do you think
34:24
Speaker 2: they're going to get back together? I mean, what do
34:26
Speaker 2: you think's happening? He's just trying to make sure his
34:30
Speaker 2: kid's not living in the street. Because his mom's an idiot.
34:34
Speaker 2: So what do you.
34:37
Speaker 2: Sometimes you people need to mind your own business. I
34:39
Speaker 2: know the internet has made it very hard for people
34:41
Speaker 2: to do that nowadays. But sometimes... You need to just
34:44
Speaker 2: mind your own business. He's going to be fine. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
34:50
Speaker 2: Why do you people care so much? Think about what
34:57
Speaker 2: is it really going to do to my buddy Ed?
35:01
Speaker 2: Let's say my boy James gets screwed over all over
35:03
Speaker 2: again in some capacity. How does it affect Ed? It's
35:09
Speaker 2: like a math problem, huh? If train A leaves at
35:11
Speaker 2: 2 and train B leaves at 3.15... Why do you care?
35:16
Speaker 2: At least to the extent that you're going to call
35:17
Speaker 2: me three damn times at midnight. You guys need to
35:22
Speaker 2: get a life. So, yeah, one of my friends called
35:26
Speaker 2: me today three times, calls me three times in the
35:30
Speaker 2: middle of the night to tell me that a friend
35:32
Speaker 2: of ours who moved to Michigan, yeah, Michigan, moved to
35:37
Speaker 2: Michigan to be around his son. So what happened was
35:39
Speaker 2: my boy James, they were living in San Diego. And
35:42
Speaker 2: he does very well for himself. So his wife ends
35:46
Speaker 2: up cheating on him. They have a kid together. James
35:49
Speaker 2: and the wife have a kid together. The wife cheats
35:51
Speaker 2: on him. She decides she's going to move to Michigan
35:52
Speaker 2: for some reason. And so he decides he's going to
35:57
Speaker 2: move over there, too. He's going to move out to
35:58
Speaker 2: Michigan to be closer to his son. He doesn't want
36:00
Speaker 2: to not be around his son. So he does all that. Apparently,
36:03
Speaker 2: she was with a guy who was taking care of her. Now,
36:05
Speaker 2: this woman's not really the working type. She's more of
36:07
Speaker 2: the marrying type. But apparently, she's not faithful, so... This
36:11
Speaker 2: guy that she was living with, taking care of, and
36:14
Speaker 2: James said he was a great guy, was taking care
36:16
Speaker 2: of her and the kid. And he was seeing his
36:19
Speaker 2: son and she ends up cheating on this guy. So
36:21
Speaker 2: now she's thrown out. So my boy Ed calls me
36:24
Speaker 2: to yell at, not to yell at me, but I
36:26
Speaker 2: got to, you got to tell James, you got to
36:28
Speaker 2: call James. You got to like, I got to do
36:30
Speaker 2: a damn thing. James is a grown ass man. And
36:34
Speaker 2: so what happened was James let his ex and his
36:38
Speaker 2: kid move in with him. Or stay with him for now.
36:44
Speaker 2: My boy Ed's flipping out. He never should have done it.
36:46
Speaker 2: She's going to get back and manipulate him. He's being taken.
36:49
Speaker 2: Who cares? My God. It's his kid. What do you
36:53
Speaker 2: want to do? Leave your kid hanging? I mean, what
36:57
Speaker 2: do you want to do? What do you want him
36:59
Speaker 2: to do?
37:00
Speaker 3: You know?
37:01
Speaker 2: Yeah. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Yo, Rome. What he needs to do is
37:04
Speaker 2: you take the kid in and leave the hoe for
37:07
Speaker 2: the streets. Is that even possible? What are the laws?
37:16
Speaker 2: There's laws, right? Doesn't the mom always get the kid?
37:19
Speaker 2: I don't know what the laws are for getting your kid.
37:21
Speaker 2: I agree with you. I guess he could have done that,
37:23
Speaker 2: you know, just taking the kid and let her hang
37:26
Speaker 2: out on the streets. I get it. But legally, can
37:29
Speaker 2: you do that as the father? The mom has to agree, right?
37:34
Speaker 2: I've known her. I know James' ex, and she's, you know,
37:40
Speaker 2: she's not just, you know, bass head living on the streets,
37:43
Speaker 2: jumping from guy to guy. She lives pretty high society.
37:46
Speaker 2: She jumps from Richmond, you know, my boys got, got
37:50
Speaker 2: real money. And the next guy, she had this guy,
37:53
Speaker 2: apparently that she was with it. Uh, she was cheating
37:56
Speaker 2: on the kicker. I had real money too. So she's not,
37:59
Speaker 2: she's not picking up schlubs. Um, I don't even know
38:03
Speaker 2: if you can do that. Right. Can you, can you
38:05
Speaker 2: do that? I mean, what do you guys do?
38:08
Speaker 4: I know.
38:09
Speaker 2: And you know, it's funny that you say that because
38:10
Speaker 2: there's a lot of you idiots here in Bakersfield that
38:13
Speaker 2: take care of your son's mother out of obligation or
38:16
Speaker 2: your child's baby mama because you feel some obligation to
38:19
Speaker 2: take care of that person because they have your kids.
38:22
Speaker 2: So can you blame my boy for doing it? I
38:25
Speaker 2: don't know. Man, what a long night I had. Well,
38:28
Speaker 2: I guess it wasn't too long, but I woke up
38:30
Speaker 2: this morning to three messages from a friend of mine.
38:33
Speaker 2: My boy Ed was trying to tell me what happened
38:36
Speaker 2: and apparently couldn't wait till I get up at 3 a.m.
38:39
Speaker 2: I couldn't wait until 3 a.m. He had to call
38:42
Speaker 2: me in the middle of the night to let me know.
38:44
Speaker 2: Just frantic. Just panicking. So stupid. So ridiculous. A friend
38:52
Speaker 2: of ours named James, he moved to Michigan a while
38:57
Speaker 2: back because him and his ex, his baby mama, she
39:01
Speaker 2: cheated on him. She decided to move out of state.
39:04
Speaker 2: He followed her to be closer to his son. He
39:07
Speaker 2: didn't want to live He didn't want to be this
39:09
Speaker 2: far away from his kid. He wanted to be around
39:12
Speaker 2: him every day. So he just picked up and moved,
39:14
Speaker 2: and he could. He has a great business, very successful
39:16
Speaker 2: business that he does that he could just move. It
39:19
Speaker 2: was no big deal for him. So she shacked up
39:23
Speaker 2: with another dude. Another dude, she was the stay at home,
39:25
Speaker 2: you know, stay at home, wife, stay at home, you know, whatever.
39:27
Speaker 2: I don't think they got married, but stay at home. And, um,
39:31
Speaker 2: so she ended up cheating on this guy. Well, she got,
39:32
Speaker 2: the guy caught her, kicked her out. Now she got
39:35
Speaker 2: nowhere to go. She called up my boy, James. That's
39:37
Speaker 2: why my, my other friend was calling me so frantic.
39:40
Speaker 2: Oh my God, he's taking her back. He's like, they just,
39:42
Speaker 2: she got kicked out. So now they're staying with him now.
39:45
Speaker 2: And I'm like, okay, first of all, why do you
39:47
Speaker 2: give a damn? Whatever he does does not affect you
39:50
Speaker 2: one bit at all. Second of all, and this is
39:55
Speaker 2: the most important of all, why the hell are you
39:58
Speaker 2: calling me at midnight three times in a row to
40:00
Speaker 2: tell me that I need to call him and talk
40:03
Speaker 2: to him? You know? I mean, okay, I'll call him.
40:08
Speaker 2: I'll talk to him. But I'm not going to talk
40:10
Speaker 2: to him like you think I am. I mean, my
40:12
Speaker 2: thought when I heard it all was, my first thought was, okay. Okay.
40:17
Speaker 2: He doesn't want his kid on the street. The mom
40:21
Speaker 2: screwed up again. She got kicked out, lost her man,
40:24
Speaker 2: and he doesn't want his kid on the street. So
40:26
Speaker 2: I guess part of that is taking in the mom also. Now,
40:29
Speaker 2: somebody else said, well, taking the kid, leave the mom hanging.
40:32
Speaker 2: I don't know if you can do that, but I
40:33
Speaker 2: don't know. He's not really that type of guy. He's
40:37
Speaker 2: kind of a good guy. So maybe that's why. I
40:39
Speaker 2: don't know. But it's not that huge of a deal. Okay.
40:46
Speaker 2: And it's not. So, uh, important for you to be
40:49
Speaker 2: so wound up in the way that my buddy is.
40:52
Speaker 2: It's just stupid. Hey, good morning, Rome. Uh, to answer
40:55
Speaker 2: your question, you're in California. Yes, it's bad for the dad. Girls, but, yeah,
41:02
Speaker 2: but they don't live in California. They live in Michigan now.
41:05
Speaker 2: I think it's, yeah, Michigan now. Uh, it's bad for
41:08
Speaker 2: the dad. Girl is way more right when it comes
41:10
Speaker 2: to the kids, but other places have, oh, I see
41:12
Speaker 2: what you're saying. Sorry, I didn't finish it. Other places
41:14
Speaker 2: have different, uh, different regulations. I don't know about where
41:19
Speaker 2: he or she's living. I didn't hear where you said
41:23
Speaker 2: she was staying at. Oh, they're in Michigan. They're in Michigan.
41:26
Speaker 2: Some little rich suburb of, I don't know, somewhere in Michigan.
41:31
Speaker 2: I don't know. I had never, I've never been there. So,
41:36
Speaker 2: I mean, I talked to James pretty frequently because him
41:38
Speaker 2: and I are, you know, you know how it goes.
41:40
Speaker 2: And when you have a large group of friends, some
41:43
Speaker 2: some friends are closer to others than y'all. Y'all still friends,
41:46
Speaker 2: but within that group, some people are a little closer.
41:48
Speaker 2: Him and I are a little closer. But, so I
41:53
Speaker 2: guess this all happened within the last day or two.
41:57
Speaker 2: And I haven't had a chance to talk to him
41:58
Speaker 2: about it, but apparently my other boy found out and
42:01
Speaker 2: is just losing his mind over it. Which, I don't know.
42:05
Speaker 2: I don't know why. I mean, what is wrong with
42:08
Speaker 2: you people? First of all, everybody needs to relax, okay?
42:11
Speaker 2: And second of all, If his only option, and I
42:16
Speaker 2: don't know what the rules are, but if his only
42:18
Speaker 2: option to keep his kid out of a shelter or
42:20
Speaker 2: off the streets or whatever is to take in his ex,
42:28
Speaker 2: who's his baby mama, his ex-wife, who's his baby mama,
42:31
Speaker 2: then what do you care? What's he going to lose?
42:36
Speaker 2: I mean, seriously. So a buddy of mine called me
42:39
Speaker 2: about another buddy of mine who apparently... The other buddy
42:44
Speaker 2: of mine has an ex-wife with a kid. They had
42:48
Speaker 2: a kid together, ex-wife who cheated on him. So he
42:51
Speaker 2: divorced her. She has the kid. She moved out to
42:55
Speaker 2: another state. And she was living with another guy who
42:58
Speaker 2: was taking care of her. And she cheated on him.
43:02
Speaker 2: She got kicked out. Her and the son were out
43:04
Speaker 2: on the streets. My boy James said, come stay with me.
43:07
Speaker 2: And now another friend of ours is just all up
43:11
Speaker 2: in arms about it. I can't believe he did it.
43:13
Speaker 2: Good morning. How's it going on? Hey, what up, bro? Hey,
43:15
Speaker 2: what up, brother?
43:16
Speaker 1: Hey, bro, I believe I can speak on this because
43:18
Speaker 1: I've been in this situation before. Okay. Mind you, he's
43:23
Speaker 1: a good dude. Now, me, at a younger age, I
43:26
Speaker 1: would have been like, hell no, just drop the kid
43:28
Speaker 1: off and I'll figure it out to the mom. Like
43:33
Speaker 1: I said, he's probably a good dude, you know?
43:36
Speaker 2: Well, can you... I don't know if you can even
43:38
Speaker 2: do that legally, right? If she says no, then you can't...
43:42
Speaker 2: There's nothing... You can't legally do that, right?
43:46
Speaker 1: Well, no, I mean, I've dealt with child support and
43:49
Speaker 1: all that. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Whatever they have,
43:54
Speaker 1: you know, and maybe your friend is so mad because.
43:56
Speaker 4: Because....
44:00
Speaker 1: You know, he got this dirty, and he was in
44:02
Speaker 1: maybe the bank. I don't know the story.
44:04
Speaker 2: Well, I'm going to put it to you like this,
44:05
Speaker 2: and I'm going to be honest with you. Of all
44:08
Speaker 2: my friends, about nine out of ten of them had
44:10
Speaker 2: all been done dirty by someone. But it's not because
44:15
Speaker 2: they didn't deserve it.
44:18
Speaker 1: No, yeah, but what I'm saying is, like, the guy,
44:21
Speaker 1: your other friend that's calling you, that's probably why he'd
44:23
Speaker 1: make no more. That's probably why he's freaking out. At
44:25
Speaker 1: the end of the day, it's none of his business.
44:28
Speaker 1: now that I'm older and it's been like, you know,
44:30
Speaker 1: my son's mom, you know, went through some stuff and
44:32
Speaker 1: I'm like, yo, like, you know, I pay child support.
44:35
Speaker 1: You know, I do the stuff, you know, Hey, I
44:37
Speaker 1: have a one bedroom apartment. Like I ain't got much,
44:39
Speaker 1: but you ain't got nowhere to go. You and the
44:40
Speaker 1: kids got a room.
44:41
Speaker 2: Sure.
44:42
Speaker 1: I'll sleep on the couch, you know? And then, cause
44:44
Speaker 1: at the end of the day, you gotta set an
44:47
Speaker 1: example for your kids, you know? Like I don't disrespect
44:49
Speaker 1: my son's mom. I don't talk about her bad in
44:51
Speaker 1: front of my son, like at all, really, you know,
44:54
Speaker 1: now that I'm older.
44:55
Speaker 4: Yeah.
44:55
Speaker 1: Um, So the other guy, he's like, you need to relax.
44:58
Speaker 4: It's not your business.
45:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, Ed does need to calm down. He gets a
45:02
Speaker 2: little excitable, though. He's a little excitable. I don't know.
45:05
Speaker 1: The other negative part, if he has a woman, which,
45:08
Speaker 1: I mean, maybe he does, but that might affect his relationship,
45:10
Speaker 1: letting her move in, you know?
45:13
Speaker 2: Oh, you know what? He does not. No, he doesn't
45:15
Speaker 2: have a woman. You know, no, no, he doesn't have
45:18
Speaker 2: a woman. I don't know how long they're staying. It
45:20
Speaker 2: all just happened last night or the night before. So
45:23
Speaker 2: I have no idea.
45:24
Speaker 1: I'm saying like if he does have a woman, that
45:26
Speaker 1: might affect his relationship.
45:28
Speaker 2: But if he doesn't, who knows?
45:29
Speaker 4: Maybe, you know, maybe she understands. Like, you know what?
45:33
Speaker 4: I had a good thing.
45:34
Speaker 1: It's time for me to start over, and maybe his
45:36
Speaker 1: family can get back together, you know?
45:38
Speaker 2: Oh, no, she's a cheating whore. She's a cheating whore.
45:40
Speaker 2: She's done just like the third or fourth dude she
45:42
Speaker 2: done cheated on.
45:42
Speaker 4: No, it ain't.
45:43
Speaker 2: No, it ain't.
45:44
Speaker 1: Oh, no, repetitive cycle? Yeah, he's the way better dude
45:47
Speaker 1: than I am.
45:48
Speaker 2: He ain't getting back together. I mean, he might hit
45:50
Speaker 2: it while she's living there, but he ain't getting back together.
45:53
Speaker 2: No way in heck he's doing that. No way. But
45:57
Speaker 2: I'll find out. I'll call him today and find out
45:59
Speaker 2: what's going on. All right.
46:02
Speaker 3: Hey, is that the repeated cycle?
46:04
Speaker 2: He's a better dude than I was.
46:05
Speaker 1: I'm going to close the door on her like a
46:06
Speaker 1: baby boy.
46:07
Speaker 2: Get out of here.
46:09
Speaker 4: Yeah.
46:10
Speaker 2: All right. I mean, what are you going to do, bro?
46:13
Speaker 2: You don't want your kid on the street. But then again,
46:15
Speaker 2: you don't, you know, what are you supposed to do?
46:18
Speaker 2: All right. Eight, four, two, five, four, seven, seven. I
46:22
Speaker 2: always love it when people tell me I'm stupid. Rome,
46:24
Speaker 2: you're just some sort of simp. I bet your boy's
46:26
Speaker 2: the same way. Gonna let his ex back in the
46:29
Speaker 2: house after she cheated on him. Kid or no kid,
46:32
Speaker 2: I would never let it happen. Well, it's just because
46:35
Speaker 2: you're a punk-ass dude. I mean, you're just a punk-ass dude.
46:39
Speaker 2: That's why. Because the reality is this. If you're a
46:42
Speaker 2: real dude, if you're a real man, you know, you'll
46:45
Speaker 2: handle yours. And even if you get done dirty, you
46:48
Speaker 2: just move on. And you rise above it. And if
46:52
Speaker 2: you've got to take care of your kid in whatever
46:55
Speaker 2: capacity that means, and you feel like you're getting screwed
46:58
Speaker 2: over by child support, you're just a punk-ass dude. Take
47:00
Speaker 2: care of the kid. Make sure the kid has it.
47:02
Speaker 2: And go make more. And go live a better life.
47:05
Speaker 2: I mean, what is wrong with you? Man up. Big
47:08
Speaker 2: tragedy in my friend group overnight, I found out. A
47:12
Speaker 2: buddy of mine, Ed, he calls me middle of the night. Now,
47:17
Speaker 2: I don't have my phone, so if you call me
47:19
Speaker 2: in the middle of the night, I'm not going to
47:20
Speaker 2: get it until I wake up in the morning, okay?
47:22
Speaker 2: So he calls me three times, gives me three separate messages.
47:25
Speaker 2: A friend of ours who moved to Michigan to follow
47:27
Speaker 2: his kid. A friend of ours who lived down in
47:29
Speaker 2: San Diego. His wife cheats on him. They have a
47:33
Speaker 2: son together. His wife cheats on him. He divorces her.
47:37
Speaker 2: She ends up going out to Michigan for some reason.
47:39
Speaker 2: I don't remember the reason why. And she's living with
47:42
Speaker 2: some other dude who, once again, is taking care of her.
47:46
Speaker 2: She's being the housewife or whatever. I don't know if
47:48
Speaker 2: they were married either. I don't think they were married, though.
47:50
Speaker 2: She ends up cheating on this guy. And do you
47:55
Speaker 2: know what's funny, by the way? I'm going to tell
47:56
Speaker 2: you real quick what's funny. She cheated on my buddy, James,
48:00
Speaker 2: and this other guy, both because they work too much.
48:04
Speaker 2: That was her logic for cheating, is they work too much.
48:07
Speaker 2: At least that's why she said she cheated on my boy,
48:10
Speaker 2: was because he was always at work. But why do
48:13
Speaker 2: these dumbass women, you want to have this life of
48:15
Speaker 2: luxury where you don't have to go to work And
48:17
Speaker 2: you can just buy whatever you want and stay at
48:19
Speaker 2: home all day and do whatever you want. But then
48:22
Speaker 2: you're going to get mad because the dude that's paying
48:24
Speaker 2: for all that has to go to work and pay
48:26
Speaker 2: for all that. And then you're going to do him dirty.
48:28
Speaker 2: And that's basically what she did. So James moves out
48:31
Speaker 2: to Michigan to, you know, be around his son. He
48:35
Speaker 2: didn't want to be that far away. Moved to the
48:37
Speaker 2: same town, whatever. Everything's going good. So I guess she
48:40
Speaker 2: got thrown out because she cheated on this other dude,
48:43
Speaker 2: got kicked out. Now she needs a place to stay.
48:45
Speaker 4: So....
48:47
Speaker 2: What did he do? He let his son and her
48:49
Speaker 2: move in with him for now. Well, stay with him.
48:51
Speaker 2: I don't know they moved in, but it's only happened
48:53
Speaker 2: a few days ago. So it's a big uproar in
48:59
Speaker 2: my friends' group. Everybody's, oh, my God, I can't believe
49:01
Speaker 2: you did this, blah, blah, blah. Bro, you got to
49:03
Speaker 2: call him. You got to talk to him because you're
49:05
Speaker 2: his best friend, blah, blah, blah. I'm like, yeah, I
49:08
Speaker 2: don't care. I actually don't care. That's what he's going
49:12
Speaker 2: to do, and that's what he's going to do. He's
49:13
Speaker 2: a grown-ass man with his own money. So what do
49:17
Speaker 2: you think is going to happen? And why are you
49:19
Speaker 2: worried about it? To me, he's just getting his kid
49:21
Speaker 2: out the street. You know, he just wants his kid
49:23
Speaker 2: to have a place to stay and not be up. He, uh,
49:27
Speaker 2: you know, yeah. Already four, two, five, four, seven to seven.
49:33
Speaker 2: Hey Rome. I'm sure he didn't want his ex to
49:36
Speaker 2: take their son and move back out of the state again.
49:39
Speaker 2: If she had nowhere else to go, that's a great point.
49:44
Speaker 2: She already got, she already cheated on him and headed
49:47
Speaker 2: out of state with their son. So he had to
49:49
Speaker 2: go follow her to be a son or follow his son.
49:51
Speaker 2: And now she done cheated again and blew it all
49:54
Speaker 2: up again. So you might be right. Maybe he just,
49:57
Speaker 2: you know, trying to keep his son as stable as
49:59
Speaker 2: possible for now. And if the cost of doing business
50:03
Speaker 2: is making sure his ex isn't out on the streets,
50:05
Speaker 2: then that's the cost of doing business, you know? Why
50:08
Speaker 2: are you worried about it? Why do you care? I don't.
50:12
Speaker 2: I mean, I'll give him a call today and I'll
50:14
Speaker 2: talk to him about it, but I just don't care.
50:16
Speaker 2: You got to do what you got to do. Why
50:17
Speaker 2: are you people always up in everybody's business? Why do
50:21
Speaker 2: you always... We had this conversation with Michael Bean the
50:23
Speaker 2: other day. Why are you people always judging somebody else's
50:28
Speaker 2: life based on the way you do things? He's just
50:34
Speaker 2: trying to take care of his son, in my opinion. Now,
50:37
Speaker 2: if If his ex, you know, cheating baby mama benefits
50:42
Speaker 2: from that in some capacity, what are you going to.
50:46
Speaker 4: Do?
50:46
Speaker 2: You know? You got to make sure the kid, he
50:50
Speaker 2: moved to another state. This is a California-raised boy. He
50:54
Speaker 2: moved to another state to be close to his son.
50:59
Speaker 2: What do you think he's going to do? Take care
51:01
Speaker 2: of his son. And my buddies are just so, you
51:05
Speaker 2: guys are just so... You're going to take L's in life.
51:10
Speaker 2: All right? Stop acting like you're not. And you dudes
51:13
Speaker 2: are so insecure and so afraid. Oh, my God, I'm
51:17
Speaker 2: being taken advantage of. Well, you probably always were. But
51:23
Speaker 2: just because you're taken advantage of doesn't mean you're a
51:28
Speaker 2: weak-ass dude, especially when it comes to your kid. So
51:32
Speaker 2: everybody needs to relax. Relax. It's just so childish and so,
51:38
Speaker 2: you're just so, such insecure morons. It's unbelievable. I don't
51:47
Speaker 2: know why it is, this is what I don't understand
51:49
Speaker 2: about dudes. Dudes always feel like somebody's taking, they always
51:55
Speaker 2: feel like their wife or their kid is taking food
51:58
Speaker 2: out of their mouth. You know, taking food off your plate. Well,
52:03
Speaker 2: just go get more food. Let them take the food
52:06
Speaker 2: and go get more. Or their ex, I should say.
52:10
Speaker 2: Ex and kid. Ex baby mama. You know, I'm not saying,
52:14
Speaker 2: I'm not saying be taken advantage of to, you know,
52:18
Speaker 2: just blatantly taken advantage of, but when... There are some
52:22
Speaker 2: situations that, hey, you can't help. All right, so it's Romeo,
52:26
Speaker 2: and a buddy of mine just texted me about something.
52:30
Speaker 2: Somebody sent me a text message about coconut water, and
52:33
Speaker 2: I didn't know what they were talking about. They said
52:35
Speaker 2: they got to get coconut water off the radio, and
52:37
Speaker 2: I didn't know what he was talking about. And then
52:39
Speaker 2: a friend of mine just texted me right now. He says, Rome,
52:41
Speaker 2: I got coconut water stuck into my head. I don't
52:45
Speaker 2: know what it was until I guess it's a song
52:48
Speaker 2: that I didn't know. Sometimes I don't pay attention to
52:53
Speaker 2: everything that's playing on the radio because we're talking and
52:56
Speaker 2: we're doing things. So I thought, I guess I better
52:59
Speaker 2: listen to the song and see what you guys are
53:01
Speaker 2: talking about, right? Yeah, I don't think I paid attention
53:10
Speaker 2: to the song. Oh, that's hilarious. It's kind of catchy. Oh,
53:20
Speaker 2: so that's what you guys are talking about. Coconut water.
53:23
Speaker 1: Okay.
53:23
Speaker 2: I don't pay attention to everything that happens, but that's hilarious.
53:47
Speaker 2: That's pretty funny. Now I know why that they were, yeah.
53:51
Speaker 2: That's why somebody said it's kind of a, you'll get
53:55
Speaker 2: used to it. It'll turn into a catchy song. Don't
53:57
Speaker 2: worry about it. All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7-Rum. Yes, Coconut Water
54:02
Speaker 2: is the most irritating song. Why did I think it
54:07
Speaker 2: was irritating? I mean, it's just, you know, it's just
54:11
Speaker 2: another song. I guess they can't all be hits, right?
54:14
Speaker 2: Some of them got to be just.
54:18
Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. It is kind of a weird,
54:24
Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I don't know. It is what it is.
54:27
Speaker 2: Already four, two, five, four, seven to seven. Hold on.
54:32
Speaker 2: Hold on. I didn't need to play Chris Brown. I'll
54:34
Speaker 2: do it in just a second. I wanted to talk
54:36
Speaker 2: about coconut water and see what these guys were talking about.
54:40
Speaker 1: Hold on.
54:41
Speaker 2: All right.
54:42
Speaker 4: Um, sorry.
54:43
Speaker 2: I was listening to, uh, uh, Rubber vans. I wasn't
54:48
Speaker 2: even paying attention to what's going on. All right. 842-547-07.
54:52
Speaker 2: What did you send me here? Let me get to
54:53
Speaker 2: these text message here. Hey, Rome, this is Seahawk Lou.
55:00
Speaker 2: I don't listen to them. Love to them. Love that song,
55:03
Speaker 2: Coconut Water. Me and my kids sing it on the
55:06
Speaker 2: way to school. Well, isn't it just like, what was
55:08
Speaker 2: that song? The shark song, everybody was annoying, or you
55:14
Speaker 2: thought that was annoying until you didn't. I mean, coconut water.
55:21
Speaker 2: I don't think there's anything wrong with it. All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
55:25
Speaker 2: What else we got going on here? Rome, that's annoying.
55:32
Speaker 2: She used the Chris Bowne, Tyga beat, and Runda classic.
55:39
Speaker 2: It's a girl that sings that song? Okay, Coconut Water.
55:48
Speaker 2: It's 94.1. Yo, Rome, I don't know what's worse, Coconut
55:52
Speaker 2: Water or 6'7. Who cares? Why do you guys care?
56:00
Speaker 2: Why does it bother you so much? Why does that
56:03
Speaker 2: song bother you so much? Hold on, let me see.
56:08
Speaker 2: Coconut water is a minute and 50 seconds of what
56:14
Speaker 2: you don't like. Why are you guys so worried about it?
56:18
Speaker 2: You know what? Now I got to listen to the
56:19
Speaker 2: whole song. Hold on. Hold on. Now I got to
56:22
Speaker 2: listen to the whole song and see what it's all about.
56:24
Speaker 1: Coconut water.
56:29
Speaker 2: Coconut water. Coconut water, coca, coca, not water. And make
56:38
Speaker 2: sure there's cookie tea, tea while we in Florida. He
56:40
Speaker 2: said I'm built like a bad hoe. I'm like your hoarder.
56:43
Speaker 2: I'm trying to hop on your face and spark.
56:45
Speaker 1: It up like a motor.
56:46
Speaker 4: Coconut water, coca, coca, not water.
56:48
Speaker 1: And make sure there's.
56:49
Speaker 4: Cookie tea, tea while we in Florida.
56:51
Speaker 2: He said I'm built like.
56:51
Speaker 4: A bad hoe.
56:52
Speaker 1: I'm like your hoarder.
56:53
Speaker 2: I'm trying to hop on your face and spark it
56:55
Speaker 2: up like a motor. She think I act like a bougie.
56:58
Speaker 4: I keep this loosey.
56:58
Speaker 2: Clips got this corset on me. It's going to make
57:01
Speaker 2: me hot juicy. It's a Rapola, but now I got
57:03
Speaker 2: on that Gucci.
57:05
Speaker 4: If you keep.
57:05
Speaker 2: Talking, then I'm going to act like a moody. She
57:08
Speaker 2: said I act like a bad hoe. I'm like a hoda.
57:11
Speaker 2: I just got me a tan. Whoa, I ain't a flora.
57:12
Speaker 2: I keep this dick in my sand.
57:14
Speaker 3: Toes, I keep it loaded.
57:15
Speaker 2: I'm in Dakota, sipping a Coca-Cola. All right, all right,
57:24
Speaker 2: all right. There's nothing wrong with it. It's a catchy
57:26
Speaker 2: little tune, you guys. Oh, that's great. All right, 8425477,
57:35
Speaker 2: would you send me here? Hey, Rome, it's Gilrod. Good morning. Hey,
57:39
Speaker 2: when the Coconut Water song comes on while listening to
57:42
Speaker 2: the show, I always turn it down because I don't
57:45
Speaker 2: want people around me to think I'm weird. Well, I'm
57:49
Speaker 2: going to tell you right now. Why is that weird, Gilrod?
57:52
Speaker 2: I mean, there's nothing wrong with it. It's got to
57:55
Speaker 2: be popular. If we play it, it's got to be popular,
57:57
Speaker 2: you know, because, yeah, we play it. almost just popular songs.
58:02
Speaker 2: So it's got to be popular to a lot of
58:04
Speaker 2: people if we're playing it. So you're not weird.
58:11
Speaker 4: Hey, Rome.
58:12
Speaker 2: Headbutt Radio here. That song is trash. I can't believe
58:15
Speaker 2: it's on the radio. On another note, wife and I
58:19
Speaker 2: was at Costco the other day, and I, we think
58:23
Speaker 2: we saw our first male BBL. Is that a thing?
58:27
Speaker 1: Yeah.
58:29
Speaker 2: Guys getting, what's a BBL? A butt lift? Yeah, that's
58:34
Speaker 2: probably a thing. I don't see why guys wouldn't get
58:36
Speaker 2: a butt lift, right? I don't know. I've never seen one,
58:41
Speaker 2: but I'm thinking maybe it's a thing. Sure, why not?
58:46
Speaker 4: I want to know what is Headbutt Raider doing looking
58:49
Speaker 4: at another man's glutes?
58:52
Speaker 2: I don't know. Are you that insecure with your manhood?
58:58
Speaker 2: If you see something that stands out, you can't look
59:00
Speaker 2: at it because it's on a man?
59:02
Speaker 4: I don't look. That's not in my interest.
59:06
Speaker 2: That says more about you. insecurities and problems than it
59:12
Speaker 2: does about Headbutt Raider, though.
59:14
Speaker 1: I think he should just be focusing on the rotisserie
59:16
Speaker 1: chicken or the bakery section, not on what a man's doing,
59:21
Speaker 1: especially his glutes. All right. Later.
59:24
Speaker 2: I mean, if something stands out that's out of the ordinary,
59:27
Speaker 2: regardless whether it's a man or a woman... I'm not
59:30
Speaker 2: really sure how you don't notice something like that, but
59:33
Speaker 2: I guess Raider Dave just got some phobias that he
59:39
Speaker 2: needs to get over. R-D-4-2-5-4, 7-7. Yo, Rome, it was
59:44
Speaker 2: a 49er fan and a Cowboy fan with the BBL. Oh, okay.
59:49
Speaker 2: I don't know if BBLs, I don't know if men
59:54
Speaker 2: are getting them or not. I haven't, I guess I
59:55
Speaker 2: can ask Dr. Dev next time I talk to him.
59:58
Speaker 2: I don't know. if that's a trend or a thing,
1:00:00
Speaker 2: or I just, I don't know. So headbutt rate, I
1:00:02
Speaker 2: guess they saw a guy who they thought might've had
1:00:05
Speaker 2: a BBL and he didn't know if that was a trend,
1:00:08
Speaker 2: if that was a thing, what's going on. I don't
1:00:10
Speaker 2: really know a headbutt rate. I don't know what's going on. RD425477.
1:00:14
Speaker 2: Hey Rome, if I see a big butt, I'm looking
1:00:15
Speaker 2: male or female. It don't matter. Hey, Rome, speaking of football,
1:00:26
Speaker 2: are you ready for football? It starts tomorrow. Yeah, I know.
1:00:30
Speaker 2: Football starts tomorrow. Am I ready for it? Of course.
1:00:33
Speaker 2: Why not? I did spend a lot of time. I
1:00:35
Speaker 2: watched a lot of college football this weekend because obviously
1:00:40
Speaker 2: college football is on Monday. What do they play? Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
1:00:45
Speaker 2: I think they haven't played Monday. I think they played
1:00:47
Speaker 2: all weekend long. But yes, I did watch. I'm ready
1:00:49
Speaker 2: for some football. I think I'm interested to see what happens.
1:00:52
Speaker 2: I'll watch the first game. You know, who's the first game?
1:00:57
Speaker 2: Seattle and Patriots? Is that what's on tomorrow night? Yeah,
1:01:05
Speaker 2: I'm ready. We'll talk about it. We're actually going to
1:01:08
Speaker 2: talk about football a little bit. We're going to find
1:01:09
Speaker 2: out what you're a fan. Apparently, the team that you
1:01:13
Speaker 2: are a fan of says a little bit about your personality.
1:01:16
Speaker 2: We're going to find out how true that is, okay?
1:01:19
Speaker 2: I got kind of a profile, personality profile about, the teams,
1:01:23
Speaker 2: and who you are. Good morning, Al. What's going on?
1:01:26
Speaker 1: Hey, what do I have to do to win tickets
1:01:29
Speaker 1: to the Village Fest for this weekend?
1:01:31
Speaker 2: You just got to keep listening. That's all I can
1:01:33
Speaker 2: tell you. And what's the clue? Tell you when to
1:01:35
Speaker 2: call in. Well, if you're listening to me, I'll just
1:01:37
Speaker 2: tell you when to call in. Oh, great.
1:01:39
Speaker 4: Okay, then.
1:01:40
Speaker 2: Thank you. Romeo in the morning. Every morning. 94.1.
