Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, Pittsburgh, it's Pat from Tarpsoft Radio.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Viewer discretion is advised, and thanks for tuning in. Here
- 0:07Speaker 2: we go.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Sometimes we're drunk, sometimes we're stoned, we're your Pittsburgh Steelers home.
- 0:44Speaker 1: It is time to take your tarps off, Pittsburgh. It's
- 0:46Speaker 1: your formerly Tuesday, now Wednesday morning, 8 a.m. slot on
- 0:49Speaker 1: Tarpsoft Radio. I'm your host, McGinji. Beside me is your co-host, Pat,
- 0:53Speaker 1: intern producer Doobie behind the boards. Yet another loss on
- 0:56Speaker 1: a road Thursday night football game. We still haven't won
- 0:59Speaker 1: in Cleveland since their daddy, Papa Ben Roethlisberger retired five
- 1:04Speaker 1: years now. Felt like that game was a month ago.
- 1:07Speaker 1: There's still plenty to talk about. We even have our
- 1:09Speaker 1: grass expert joining us for the show today as Pitt
- 1:13Speaker 1: and North Carolina play Saturday Colts and Steelers Sunday. So
- 1:16Speaker 1: you're going to talk about the new turf, what goes
- 1:18Speaker 1: into it down at Heinz field. But first Pat, what
- 1:21Speaker 1: kind of day are we having today?
- 1:24Speaker 2: That's a, Pat's on the grass himself, McG.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Yeah. Pat went scuba diving earlier, and he's enjoying a
- 1:33Speaker 3: cold Diet Coke along with his scuba sesh.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I just went underwater myself, Pat.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Got to celebrate having the grass expert on the show.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Mm-hmm. No, hey, listen. If you guys like grass, or
- 1:51Speaker 3: even if you've ever been curious about grass, I didn't
- 1:53Speaker 3: have any questions prepared. And I might ask more questions
- 1:57Speaker 3: than you, McG. I mean, I'm such a naturally curious
- 2:01Speaker 3: person when it comes to grass.
- 2:02Speaker 5: A couple of grass enthusiasts, you could probably call us.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely.
- 2:07Speaker 5: All right. We got to start with something here, Pat.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Can we start with something real quick, McG, just to
- 2:15Speaker 3: satisfy Doob and the rest of us here?
- 2:19Speaker 2: How about it?
- 2:21Speaker 3: I'll start on a good note, McG.
- 2:24Speaker 2: How about Pitt football? How about that?
- 2:27Speaker 3: I know you didn't get to see it. Actually, I
- 2:30Speaker 3: ran into Lance Armstrong this weekend, and he wanted me
- 2:34Speaker 3: to ask you what kids you were dying from that
- 2:36Speaker 3: you missed going to Jim Broney's house for the Pitt game.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Oh, please. I watched it at my house. I had
- 2:45Speaker 1: a good time with my bowl of chips and some popcorn.
- 2:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I was sick as a motherfucker. I was sick and
- 2:55Speaker 1: I didn't even feel like explaining anything to you guys
- 2:58Speaker 1: because there wasn't anything I could say.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Oh yeah. I've been there.
- 3:01Speaker 3: I believe me.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I've been there.
- 3:03Speaker 5: But I did not want to drink at all.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Like I was telling me I was behind enemy lines, dude.
- 3:11Speaker 2: If we missed that kick, I might've just been at
- 3:12Speaker 2: the bottom of Lake Erie.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:15Speaker 5: You had a worse Thursday than I did. That's for sure.
- 3:17Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:18Speaker 2: It was real bad. I had to give you some shit.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Did you go to Jim Brownies?
- 3:23Speaker 3: No, he was in Cleveland.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I was still in Cleveland.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I thought you were saying that I went through that
- 3:29Speaker 1: and I still went.
- 3:30Speaker 7: No, no.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I'm saying I was still behind enemy lines. It was... Yeah.
- 3:35Speaker 1: No, I just felt like shit and I just... What
- 3:38Speaker 1: was I going to say? Hey, I don't feel good.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I'm not coming. I'm getting shit either way.
- 3:42Speaker 3: That's the thing, McGee. As anyone else, I probably wouldn't
- 3:44Speaker 3: have said nothing. But you got to admit, you're the
- 3:46Speaker 3: king of that. So I had to give you some
- 3:48Speaker 3: shit myself.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it happens.
- 3:53Speaker 2: And you know what?
- 3:53Speaker 1: I'm glad I didn't go because we won. And who knows?
- 3:58Speaker 5: Maybe if I go over to Jim Brownie's, Pitt.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Ends up losing that game.
- 4:01Speaker 2: That's true.
- 4:02Speaker 3: That's true. Jim Brownie had the charcuterie on his head.
- 4:05Speaker 3: He was dialed in.
- 4:08Speaker 1: You know, I've heard things about the shark pussy.
- 4:12Speaker 5: Is that a staple game wear for Jim Brody now?
- 4:15Speaker 3: For those of you who don't know, Jim Brody's got
- 4:18Speaker 3: this shark hat. It was gifted to him. And it
- 4:21Speaker 3: kind of looks like, I'll just say it. It looks
- 4:24Speaker 3: like a female shark, but the female part is in
- 4:27Speaker 3: the mouth that sits above his forehead.
- 4:30Speaker 1: What? I don't know.
- 4:33Speaker 7: What?
- 4:34Speaker 3: It looks like he has a pussy for a mouth, McGee.
- 4:36Speaker 3: That's what I'm trying to say.
- 4:37Speaker 8: The shark?
- 4:38Speaker 2: It is a really weird looking shark head. I got
- 4:41Speaker 2: a picture in the family group chat as well.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Can you crop it out and maybe post it on
- 4:46Speaker 3: Twitter tomorrow? Yeah, just the hat.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Put an emoji over his face like he's a child.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I can do that.
- 5:01Speaker 3: We'll get his permission first.
- 5:03Speaker 5: You don't need his permission if it's anonymous.
- 5:07Speaker 8: Yeah, well.
- 5:08Speaker 2: You can sign the waiver.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I'm allowed to film.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Here.
- 5:14Speaker 1: You don't know my rights. I'm allowed to film here.
- 5:17Speaker 2: It's a public space.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Not quite.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Have you seen that guy who sets up cameras?
- 5:24Speaker 3: I know who you're talking about.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Did you see he was in Oakmont last week?
- 5:28Speaker 3: He was in Oakmont last week?
- 5:30Speaker 5: He was in Oakmont harassing these two ladies.
- 5:32Speaker 3: No, you gotta send it to me.
- 5:35Speaker 1: It was a.
- 5:36Speaker 5: 40 minute long TikTok video.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Dude, there's a million First Amendment auditors.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Around the country. That's what they call them?
- 5:45Speaker 7: That's so funny.
- 5:46Speaker 3: That's what they call themselves, yeah. Dude's just so.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Casual about it. I support a First Amendment audit.
- 5:55Speaker 1: That's like a thing?
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah, dude.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You support those guys?
- 5:59Speaker 4: 100%.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Those guys are assholes, dude. I like it.
- 6:05Speaker 1: They just stand on a sidewalk and shove a camera
- 6:08Speaker 1: down people's faces and be like, it's not illegal, bro. No,
- 6:13Speaker 1: you're just being an asshole. It's not about if it's
- 6:17Speaker 1: legal or not. Anyways, hell of a win for Pitt.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Hell of a win for Pitt.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Go Panthers.
- 6:29Speaker 5: Now the sad part.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Pat. Yeah, I'm pissed.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Let's play one out. Let's pour one out and play
- 6:37Speaker 1: it for Joey Porter Jr. Yeah. Taps.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Fuck Joey Porter Jr. Fuck Omar Khan. Fuck this whole situation.
- 6:47Speaker 1: None of this needed to happen.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Both sides played this horribly.
- 6:52Speaker 1: It's tough.
- 6:54Speaker 5: It's really tough.
- 6:55Speaker 1: And you want to hear how I'm coping? Yeah.
- 7:02Speaker 5: They weren't going to pay him. They were never going
- 7:04Speaker 5: to pay him.
- 7:06Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:06Speaker 3: I thought they were. I thought they were.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Now we don't have to worry about paying Zach Frazier.
- 7:12Speaker 1: We don't have to worry about paying McCormick. We don't
- 7:17Speaker 1: have to worry about paying Fontanou. So I think that's
- 7:22Speaker 1: how I'm coping.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Aren't you, are you concerned though at all that, you know, maybe,
- 7:28Speaker 3: maybe one of those guys in the future decides he
- 7:31Speaker 3: wants three more million dollars and, two more guaranteed years
- 7:34Speaker 3: and pulls the same stunt?
- 7:36Speaker 1: Absolutely, Pat.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Because that was my whole thing. Like the precedent that
- 7:41Speaker 3: this sets, I would have handled that because question you'll
- 7:44Speaker 3: probably ask me, I'll tell you how I would have
- 7:46Speaker 3: handled it. If I was Omar Khan, I would have
- 7:49Speaker 3: set Joey Porter's ass to injured reserve. I would have
- 7:52Speaker 3: made it very clear. If he wants to play this game,
- 7:54Speaker 3: he's sitting out the entire year and we're franchise tagging
- 7:58Speaker 3: him next year. And then next year, if you franchise
- 8:00Speaker 3: tag him, you want to trade him, go ahead. But
- 8:03Speaker 3: we could talk contracts next year, Joey Porter Jr. That's
- 8:05Speaker 3: what I would have done.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I'm not even putting him on IR. That's a fake
- 8:10Speaker 1: Fugazi back injury. And let me tell you this, Pat.
- 8:14Speaker 1: That's a new bargaining chip for the players. That has
- 8:17Speaker 1: come a long way. The Steelers have used bargaining chips
- 8:19Speaker 1: against players for decades. They used the we're not negotiating
- 8:23Speaker 1: in season. They were only doing one year's guaranteed. They
- 8:27Speaker 1: use all these bargaining chips. The Steelers got outplayed. They
- 8:31Speaker 1: simply got outplayed. And I think it's time that Fart
- 8:35Speaker 1: Rooney and Omar Khan start to break some of those
- 8:39Speaker 1: old fucking habits that have started to plague this franchise.
- 8:44Speaker 5: A little bit.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not going to.
- 8:46Speaker 2: You're right.
- 8:47Speaker 3: They got played. Joey Porter also played himself, though. I mean,
- 8:51Speaker 3: did he really come out on top in any way?
- 8:53Speaker 1: No, he didn't. But at the end of the day,
- 8:57Speaker 1: we lost the top five.
- 8:58Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Exactly, and we're Steelers fans, not Joey Porter Jr.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Fans.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I do not care about Joey Porter Jr.
- 9:04Speaker 7: Now.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I'm going to love to hate-watch the Cowboys even more
- 9:07Speaker 1: than we already have. And what's this about? He goes there,
- 9:11Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, oh, my dad's a Cowboys fan,
- 9:14Speaker 1: my mom's a Cowboys fan, my auntie's.
- 9:16Speaker 3: My uncle's, they're all Cowboys fans.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I got a whole family of Cowboys fans. What the
- 9:21Speaker 1: fuck are you talking about, dude?
- 9:22Speaker 3: That was salt in the wound.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Remove senior from the Hall of Honor.
- 9:27Speaker 5: Yeah, well, Charlie Batch disagrees with you.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I don't give a shit. Get his ass out.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Doobie, I saw you arguing with someone on Twitter the
- 9:39Speaker 1: other day. Who was that?
- 9:40Speaker 2: I have a lot of Twitter arguments.
- 9:43Speaker 1: This was a prominent Pittsburgh, one of the Pittsburgh sports guys.
- 9:50Speaker 3: You going after Mark Madden?
- 9:52Speaker 1: No, it wasn't as big as Madden. This was like C-level.
- 9:55Speaker 2: You know they're all scum, and one of them said
- 9:57Speaker 2: something about being from Philly, and I was like, oh.
- 10:00Speaker 2: this makes sense. You're from Philly.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Yeah, who was it?
- 10:04Speaker 2: Maybe Paul Zeiss. I don't remember.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It was.
- 10:06Speaker 5: It was Paul Zeiss. That's exactly who it was.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I found out he's from Philly. I just unfollowed him,
- 10:12Speaker 2: so I forget.
- 10:13Speaker 9: That's funny.
- 10:14Speaker 3: I like Paul Zeiss.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Paul Zeiss tweeted about how Temple won. And he
- 10:20Speaker 1: was like, oh, the good Pennsylvania team won today, yada, yada, yada.
- 10:25Speaker 1: And Doobie responds, oh, go figure, you're a Philly piece
- 10:29Speaker 1: of shit.
- 10:30Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah.
- 10:33Speaker 5: And he responded to Doobie.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Yeah, he said like, oh, you probably hate my politics.
- 10:38Speaker 2: I was like, I don't even know your fucking.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Politics, dude. He said, and I'm woke.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even know about it. I have no
- 10:48Speaker 2: idea what this guy's politics are. I'm like, fuck you.
- 10:52Speaker 1: He must have looked at your Twitter and seen you
- 10:57Speaker 1: tweeting some nonsense and said, this guy's going to get
- 11:00Speaker 1: so mad if I tell him I'm woke.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I don't even think I responded to that one.
- 11:05Speaker 3: That's kind of sick. Not to go against my own,
- 11:09Speaker 3: but I backed Paul Zeiss there. That's sick.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Oh, come on. You've got to have the interns back, Pat.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Come on. We're running a company here.
- 11:17Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 11:20Speaker 2: You know his politics? Is he actually a woke guy?
- 11:23Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 11:24Speaker 3: I know two or three more responses and that definitely
- 11:27Speaker 3: would have came out from you. You would have found
- 11:32Speaker 3: something out and worked it in there somehow.
- 11:34Speaker 2: I literally said that and unfollowed him so I wasn't
- 11:41Speaker 2: expecting him to answer.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:44Speaker 5: Disgusting.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Traders in Pittsburgh.
- 11:46Speaker 5: Everywhere.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Everywhere.
- 11:49Speaker 2: He is Philly. That's gross. What did you think about
- 11:52Speaker 2: the Joey Porter Jr.
- 11:55Speaker 3: News overall?
- 11:57Speaker 1: Sick of it.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Doobie?
- 11:59Speaker 1: Yeah, go ahead.
- 12:00Speaker 10: Oh, yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Yeah, fuck. I mean.
- 12:01Speaker 5: Doobie's favorite player.
- 12:04Speaker 2: I'm with Pat. I don't think we should have traded
- 12:06Speaker 2: him because that sets a precedent that players can just
- 12:09Speaker 2: do this to get traded. But I wanted to just
- 12:12Speaker 2: let him sit and find him. then franchise tag him,
- 12:15Speaker 2: and then hopefully he's just out of the fucking league.
- 12:17Speaker 2: It's one less fucking Penn State player, Joe Panu.
- 12:21Speaker 1: There you go. Yeah, well said. And not only that,
- 12:24Speaker 1: but you get a– You could have said three words there.
- 12:30Speaker 2: You get a third– you get a.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Sixth round pick in this next draft, which is kind of,
- 12:36Speaker 3: you know, basically a wash, right? And then you get
- 12:38Speaker 3: a second round pick in the following year's draft, 2028's draft. Meanwhile,
- 12:43Speaker 3: if you would have kept him and franchise tagged him
- 12:46Speaker 3: and traded him, you could have got something else in
- 12:48Speaker 3: a trade.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Or if he would have walked in free.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Agency, you would have got probably a third-round pick in
- 12:55Speaker 3: 2028's draft anyway.
- 12:57Speaker 1: And that's exactly why Dallas is taking the chance because
- 13:01Speaker 1: they basically just traded a second-round pick for a third-round pick. Yeah,
- 13:07Speaker 1: because they're getting that third-round comp if Joey Porter Jr.
- 13:10Speaker 1: doesn't sign.
- 13:11Speaker 5: If he signs, then he's worth the second-round pick.
- 13:14Speaker 2: And the same thing that we were going to do
- 13:15Speaker 2: to him. Like he's an idiot.
- 13:18Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Do you think this, do you think the Steelers are
- 13:20Speaker 3: even capable of playing man defense with the staff they
- 13:24Speaker 3: have right now? And not Joey Porter jr.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Well, Jalen Ramsey, broken wrist, Jamel Dean out with an ankle. No,
- 13:32Speaker 1: I don't think they're capable.
- 13:33Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 2: He doesn't even like to play man. So that doesn't
- 13:36Speaker 2: really matter.
- 13:37Speaker 3: He you're right, but he's, he's, He's been adaptable. That's
- 13:42Speaker 3: his thing, right, is he adapts to the strengths of
- 13:44Speaker 3: the defense. And I can't help but feel if Joey
- 13:47Speaker 3: Porter had been on the field, we'd be playing a
- 13:49Speaker 3: lot more, man.
- 13:49Speaker 2: I think that's clear.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:54Speaker 5: I'm just tired of talking about it.
- 13:56Speaker 2: All right.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Well, let's flush that down the toilet and talk about
- 14:00Speaker 3: the other.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Let's find the next turn to flush, huh?
- 14:02Speaker 3: Yeah, the next turn to flush.
- 14:04Speaker 5: Let's kick it over to ourselves for the game recap.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Another week. Steelers elected to defer. It is Cleveland's chance
- 14:18Speaker 1: to show how real they are. Steelers' D holds them
- 14:21Speaker 1: right where they are, however. Three and out. Browns punt.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Rodgers with his chance now. What a beautiful, B-E-A, beautiful
- 14:28Speaker 1: drive this is. Probably the best.
- 14:29Speaker 5: Drive we will see in 2026.
- 14:31Speaker 1: 17 plays, 78 yards, 9 minutes, 48 seconds. Capped by
- 14:36Speaker 1: a 12-yard shovel pass. Touchdown to Roman Wilson. Steelers 7,
- 14:40Speaker 1: Browns nothing. Last drive of the first quarter as the
- 14:42Speaker 1: Steelers ate up all that clock, and the Steelers force
- 14:45Speaker 1: another quick Browns punt. On to the second quarter. The
- 14:48Speaker 1: Steelers pinned up against their own end zone on the
- 14:50Speaker 1: one-yard line after a good punt and three straight plays
- 14:52Speaker 1: from Jalen Warren go for 30 yards before Rodgers throws
- 14:55Speaker 1: a duck. Intercepts right around midfield, the Cleveland edge rusher
- 14:59Speaker 1: hit Rodgers in the arm, killing any chance of that throw.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Cleveland quickly converts this into a touchdown. Jaleel McLaughlin run
- 15:06Speaker 1: for 28 yards, tie game 7-7. Steelers with their second
- 15:11Speaker 1: possession of the quarter and continue to struggle. Browns force
- 15:13Speaker 1: a three and out. Give the ball back to the Browns.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Deshaun and company once again waste no time. Another touchdown
- 15:20Speaker 1: score coming on four plays. This one a two-yard touchdown
- 15:24Speaker 1: run from Quint Sean Judkins. Browns 14, Steelers 7. Rodgers
- 15:29Speaker 1: driving down a touchdown now and Jalen Warren continues to
- 15:31Speaker 1: have a good game on the ground bringing the Steelers
- 15:34Speaker 1: on the edge of the red zone but a third
- 15:35Speaker 1: down sack Knox Rodgers back to the 30-yard line.
- 15:38Speaker 5: Boz misses a 48-yard field goal.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Disaster. And the second quarter Browns continue to light the
- 15:45Speaker 1: stadium on fire. 11th place, 62 yards. Finished off by
- 15:50Speaker 1: a Harold Fannin touchdown. Browns 21, Steelers 7. Two-minute drill
- 15:55Speaker 1: for the Steelers. Thanks to a 49-yard reception by Roman Wilson,
- 15:59Speaker 1: the Steelers are able to put a field goal on
- 16:00Speaker 1: the board before halftime. This one good from 31 yards.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Steelers 10, Browns 21. Brutal third quarter at Huntington Bank.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Let me list these possessions in the third quarter for you. Steelers,
- 16:12Speaker 1: three and out.
- 16:12Speaker 5: Browns, three and out.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Steelers, three and out. Browns, TJ Watts, strip sack, fumble. Steelers,
- 16:18Speaker 1: three and out. On to the fourth, score still 21-10 Cleveland.
- 16:22Speaker 1: And Deshaun is intercepted by rookie Robert Spears Jennings on
- 16:26Speaker 1: a tip ball at the line of scrimmage. Steelers take
- 16:28Speaker 1: over down 11. Rodgers goes 77 yards over six plays.
- 16:32Speaker 1: And Darnell Washington catches a laser from Rodgers 20 yards out.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Steelers go for two. Do not get it. Steelers 16,
- 16:40Speaker 1: Browns 21. Browns at a field goal in the next possession.
- 16:43Speaker 1: 24-16 Browns now.
- 16:46Speaker 5: Rodgers and D.K. coming alive on this next drive, however.
- 16:49Speaker 1: He finds D.K.
- 16:50Speaker 5: For gains of 22. He finds D.K. for gains of 28.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Eventually, Rodgers bangs it to Muth from three yards out, touchdown,
- 16:57Speaker 1: down two. Rodgers has his first quarterback sneak since COVID,
- 17:01Speaker 1: and the game is.
- 17:01Speaker 5: Tied at 24.
- 17:03Speaker 1: However, as they have done all game and all season
- 17:07Speaker 1: so far, the Browns answer. There was enough time on
- 17:10Speaker 1: the clock for them to get into field goal range,
- 17:12Speaker 1: and Sismite knocks a deep one in from 56 yards out,
- 17:18Speaker 1: and the Browns win the game of the century, 27-24.
- 17:21Speaker 5: That's all from the lake.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Browns 27, Steelers 24 from Cleveland. Another shit game on
- 17:34Speaker 1: a Thursday night in Cleveland. Pat, thoughts?
- 17:41Speaker 2: Well, McGingy, I.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm surprised we lost
- 17:48Speaker 3: on Thursday night on a division game. Let me also
- 17:51Speaker 3: start by saying some bullshit.
- 17:53Speaker 5: Pat, we've literally never won that game in franchise history.
- 17:56Speaker 3: I know, but this is such a, like, the whole
- 17:59Speaker 3: staff is different.
- 18:00Speaker 1: There's two coaches that are still around.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Like, what does it mean?
- 18:05Speaker 3: You know, it just doesn't make sense.
- 18:10Speaker 1: You take out the second quarter of that game, Pat.
- 18:13Speaker 1: That was the second quarter from hell. You take out
- 18:15Speaker 1: the second quarter and it's a 21-6 Steelers win.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Yeah, you're not wrong.
- 18:22Speaker 1: That was a second quarter from hell. We saw TJ
- 18:25Speaker 1: Watt yelling in the.
- 18:29Speaker 1: That's pissed me off all week. All the stupid media
- 18:33Speaker 1: folks making a big deal about it. That is a
- 18:36Speaker 1: nothing burger. Less than a nothing burger. Rodgers and McCarthy...
- 18:42Speaker 1: going back and forth too. And yeah, like you said.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 18:45Speaker 1: McCarthy's getting caught on camera saying what a fucking asshole.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Aired so hard. I mean, I don't know if you
- 18:55Speaker 3: were watching it like, you know, with, with, you know,
- 18:58Speaker 3: loud sound or anything. I was watching my living room
- 19:00Speaker 3: and you could hear clear as day, you know, him
- 19:03Speaker 3: dropping that F bomb. I mean, it was, and then
- 19:05Speaker 3: they replayed it on the broadcast like a minute later.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't hear it. Our sound must not have
- 19:10Speaker 1: been loud enough.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Yeah, he said, like, call the fucking play.
- 19:15Speaker 1: When he couldn't get the play in.
- 19:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
- 19:19Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, that's a nothing burger.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Now you got all these idiots who are trying to
- 19:24Speaker 1: drive a wedge between McCarthy and Rogers. Yada, yada, yada.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I saw that Braden Fajoko on Twitter making a big
- 19:30Speaker 1: deal out of it. That guy's a fucking clown, dude.
- 19:32Speaker 1: That guy pisses me off. And you got the national
- 19:35Speaker 1: media folks. The mouse. Pat, here's where I'm at now.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I think, as Steeler fans, we need to go back
- 19:47Speaker 1: to blaming the NFL. We need to stop... looking inward,
- 19:51Speaker 1: and we need to start looking outward. We need to
- 19:53Speaker 1: stop blaming Rodgers, blaming McCarthy, blaming everyone else. And remember
- 19:59Speaker 1: when we would just blame the NFL and Goodell and
- 20:02Speaker 1: all of them. Can we just go back to that?
- 20:04Speaker 3: I think I know where you're leading towards right now, McGingey.
- 20:07Speaker 3: And what better of a segue... That we could have
- 20:11Speaker 3: for Pat's stats.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?
- 20:16Speaker 1: I don't know your stats.
- 20:18Speaker 3: I kept these quiet from you this week. You don't
- 20:20Speaker 3: even know.
- 20:21Speaker 1: No, I swear to God.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Okay.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Let's see if we're on the same page here.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Cam Hayward, I was watching this at lunch, was on
- 20:28Speaker 3: the Rich Eisen show. And he had talked about how– well,
- 20:33Speaker 3: not pissed off, but he thinks it's not fair– that
- 20:36Speaker 3: any divisional game in general is played on a Thursday
- 20:39Speaker 3: night because one team clearly has an advantage, right?
- 20:43Speaker 2: Let's talk about some past stats. Browns have had a Thursday.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Night football home game in each of the past eight years.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Five of them have been divisional games. Four of them
- 20:54Speaker 3: have been against the Steelers. In those Thursday night football
- 20:58Speaker 3: games in the past eight years, there are eight no
- 21:01Speaker 3: in those games.
- 21:02Speaker 5: Go fucking figure, huh?
- 21:04Speaker 3: Steelers have had three Thursday night football home games and
- 21:08Speaker 3: nine internal Thursday night football games in eight years. They're
- 21:11Speaker 3: two and one at home. So they've had three of
- 21:15Speaker 3: the last eight, three of the nine in the last
- 21:18Speaker 3: eight years were home games for the Steelers. They've been
- 21:19Speaker 3: on the road six times on Thursday night.
- 21:23Speaker 1: That's a great start.
- 21:27Speaker 3: So home teams last year on Thursday night football, were 11-5,
- 21:31Speaker 3: and they won nearly 70% of games. So clearly there's
- 21:35Speaker 3: some advantage here. And up with Cam Hayward, the fact
- 21:37Speaker 3: that you have divisional games that mean so much, right,
- 21:41Speaker 3: that are so important, and you're letting things like, you know,
- 21:45Speaker 3: traveling on a Thursday night or, like, going to Australia
- 21:48Speaker 3: or going to London or some bullshit like that, not
- 21:52Speaker 3: only are you putting one team at a disadvantage, but
- 21:54Speaker 3: you're removing a divisional team's home game.
- 21:58Speaker 1: No, it's disgusting. Yeah. I'm looking for a stat here, Pat,
- 22:07Speaker 1: to back up the one you had. And I thought
- 22:10Speaker 1: I had it saved here, and now I can't look.
- 22:12Speaker 1: It is about how the Steelers play more road. It
- 22:17Speaker 1: was about back-to-back division games with the Thursday night football
- 22:22Speaker 1: game coming after a Sunday divisional game where the Thursday
- 22:26Speaker 1: night football game is on the road. And the Steelers have...
- 22:31Speaker 1: the most instances of that in NFL history. And there
- 22:35Speaker 1: are four teams that don't have, that has never happened
- 22:38Speaker 1: to at all. And of those teams are like the chiefs,
- 22:44Speaker 1: the Cowboys, a couple other ones, but I can't find
- 22:49Speaker 1: it too.
- 22:50Speaker 5: But do you think if you, you can find that
- 22:51Speaker 5: for me?
- 22:52Speaker 2: Say that again? It's okay.
- 23:02Speaker 1: It's back-to-back games. So both division games, one is on
- 23:07Speaker 1: a Sunday, game one Sunday, game two Thursday. That second
- 23:13Speaker 1: divisional game, game two, being on the road, the Steelers
- 23:17Speaker 1: have more of those road games than any team in
- 23:20Speaker 1: NFL history.
- 23:23Speaker 3: All right, let me see if I can do it
- 23:26Speaker 3: for you.
- 23:27Speaker 5: I saw it on X the Everything app.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Uh yeah good luck yeah good luck.
- 23:37Speaker 5: Pat give us your second stat.
- 23:41Speaker 3: I need to run the fucking ball more mcgingy jalen
- 23:44Speaker 3: warren 17 for 93 yards averaging 5.47 yards per carry
- 23:52Speaker 3: in his last two games combined he's 34 for 220
- 23:57Speaker 3: at 6.47 yards per carry in the last two games, McGinji.
- 24:03Speaker 3: He's also 20th in attempts, 9th in yards, and 4th
- 24:07Speaker 3: in yards per carry. Wow. He's 4th in yards per carry,
- 24:12Speaker 3: and he's 20th in attempts.
- 24:14Speaker 14: Wow.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Feed him.
- 24:17Speaker 3: It's insane.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Feed him.
- 24:20Speaker 5: Yeah, Jalen Warren needs to get the ball. Rico Dowdle is,
- 24:23Speaker 5: I believe, expected to be back this week.
- 24:26Speaker 1: And Mike McCarthy did say that they're going back to
- 24:29Speaker 1: running back by committee.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:31Speaker 3: As long as it's, you know, it doesn't have to
- 24:33Speaker 3: be 90, 10 Jalen Warren, right. I don't think that's
- 24:37Speaker 3: sustainable either for 17 games and maybe the playoffs, but
- 24:42Speaker 3: you know, I'd like to see at a minimum 75, 25.
- 24:46Speaker 3: I mean, Jalen Warren really should be getting the bulk
- 24:48Speaker 3: of the carries.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely.
- 24:52Speaker 5: I found the stat by the way.
- 24:55Speaker 7: Are you ready?
- 24:57Speaker 5: This is Mike Frazier's tweet on Twitter.
- 25:02Speaker 1: He says, the Steelers have played five divisional games on
- 25:05Speaker 1: Thursday night after playing a divisional game the preceding Sunday,
- 25:10Speaker 1: tied with the Seahawks for the most. However, of those five,
- 25:14Speaker 1: four have been on the road, giving the Steelers the
- 25:18Speaker 1: highest percentage of road divisional Thursday games that followed a
- 25:22Speaker 1: divisional game the Sunday before. Also, The Steelers are the
- 25:28Speaker 1: only team to have played a road divisional game on
- 25:32Speaker 1: a Sunday and a road divisional game the following Thursday.
- 25:38Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:41Speaker 3: I'm not going to sit here and say, you know,
- 25:43Speaker 3: that's that's why we lost. Obviously, that's not the case, but.
- 25:46Speaker 2: It is. It's fucking annoying and it's inconvenient. And there's
- 25:49Speaker 2: a trend.
- 25:50Speaker 3: And how could I, as a Steeler fan, not look
- 25:52Speaker 3: at these? Browns are 8-0 in Thursday night football games,
- 25:56Speaker 3: five divisional games, four against the Steelers. How could I
- 25:59Speaker 3: look at these and think the NFL, you know, is
- 26:01Speaker 3: doing anything but trying to get the Browns some extra
- 26:05Speaker 3: help and get the Browns some extra wins?
- 26:07Speaker 1: I mean, it's their super is their Thursday night Super
- 26:09Speaker 1: Bowl every year. And the numbers are backing it up
- 26:13Speaker 1: that the NFL has an agenda out to get us.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Even back-to-back seasons playing in Cleveland's on the road just
- 26:21Speaker 3: makes no fucking sense.
- 26:22Speaker 5: Well, Sunday last year was Thursday with Jameis two years ago.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Yeah, the snow globe.
- 26:27Speaker 10: Gotcha.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Yeah, correct.
- 26:30Speaker 1: No, it's pathetic, Pat. And like I said, the NFL
- 26:32Speaker 1: is out to get us this year. And you know what?
- 26:35Speaker 1: It's so much easier and you're so much happier– when
- 26:40Speaker 1: you just lash out at Goodell and the NFL, rather
- 26:43Speaker 1: than admitting that your team isn't any good.
- 26:46Speaker 2: And the libs too. The libs are ruining our quarterback.
- 26:49Speaker 5: Easy targets. Easy targets.
- 26:51Speaker 1: And the mouse. And the mouse.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Well, that's, yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Goodell, the NFL, the libs of the mouse.
- 26:56Speaker 3: The libs are the mouse's army, McGingy.
- 26:58Speaker 5: That's true.
- 27:00Speaker 1: That's true. They do weaponize them. Although they're turning. They're
- 27:04Speaker 1: weaponizing the liberals.
- 27:05Speaker 2: I love it.
- 27:06Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Times are turning. Do you have another Pat stat?
- 27:13Speaker 3: This is two Pat stats relating to our special teams, McChinji.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Boswell has missed five field goals in his last eight
- 27:21Speaker 3: games and three field goals in four games so far
- 27:25Speaker 3: this year.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Well, he's also missed two extra points. So in seven
- 27:30Speaker 1: of the last eight games, he's missed a kick dating
- 27:34Speaker 1: back to last year.
- 27:35Speaker 3: This is a positive stat, though. Bill Burr. 51.8 yards
- 27:41Speaker 3: per punt. He's ninth in the league in average. That was,
- 27:44Speaker 3: I'm sorry, yards per punt on Sunday. 51.8 yards per
- 27:49Speaker 3: punt on Thursday against the Browns. But on the season
- 27:53Speaker 3: so far, he's ninth in yards per punt overall. And
- 27:57Speaker 3: he's tied in third for punts within the 20.
- 28:02Speaker 7: Wow.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Yep. He's already over.
- 28:07Speaker 3: He's two yards, over two yards above the record. He
- 28:11Speaker 3: said he'd set the record this year, didn't you, McJingis?
- 28:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that was my prediction. So he's two yards higher
- 28:16Speaker 1: at this point?
- 28:18Speaker 3: The record is 57, an average of 57 yards per punt.
- 28:22Speaker 1: You're not talking about net.
- 28:24Speaker 3: I'm talking, it's yards per punt.
- 28:26Speaker 7: Okay.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Yes. 47 is the record from 1961. Bobby Joe Green,
- 28:30Speaker 3: 47 yards per punt. Right now, Bill Burr is at 49.4.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Wow.
- 28:39Speaker 5: That's gross distance.
- 28:44Speaker 3: You're making it more complicated.
- 28:45Speaker 1: No, no, no. The net is the record that everyone
- 28:48Speaker 1: talks about. Corliss Waitman.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Sure.
- 28:51Speaker 5: That's gross yards. No, you're talking gross.
- 28:55Speaker 3: I'm talking filthy. I'm talking nasty, filthy gross.
- 28:59Speaker 6: 41.9.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Corliss Waitman is the record. Bill Burr is at... 42.6.
- 29:09Speaker 1: So he is 0.7 higher than Corliss' record. But yeah,
- 29:15Speaker 1: he's booming the ball. He had a couple good ones
- 29:17Speaker 1: this week.
- 29:19Speaker 7: Sure, sure.
- 29:19Speaker 3: And, you know, we got to give credit where credit's due.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Absolutely. He was the bright spot.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Speaking of bright spots, you're not going to like this,
- 29:28Speaker 3: but there are two players that I considered studs against
- 29:31Speaker 3: the Browns, McGinji.
- 29:34Speaker 1: I'm interested.
- 29:35Speaker 3: TJ Watt and Jalen Warren.
- 29:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Okay.
- 29:41Speaker 1: They've earned it.
- 29:41Speaker 5: TJ did everything he could.
- 29:44Speaker 7: Yes.
- 29:45Speaker 2: And Warren just runs hard.
- 29:47Speaker 5: That incompletion TJ forced.
- 29:50Speaker 1: My God.
- 29:50Speaker 2: That was crazy.
- 29:54Speaker 5: He'd do some shit like that every week.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Yeah, he's a playmaker.
- 29:59Speaker 1: It's like Crosby.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Crosby does some shit every game and you're just like, wow. Yeah,
- 30:07Speaker 1: did we talk about the Stiffs?
- 30:08Speaker 3: No.
- 30:10Speaker 1: No, I said, can we?
- 30:12Speaker 2: Yes.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Lost and Soft brothers. Boy, are they the most inconsistent
- 30:18Speaker 1: linebacking pairing maybe in NFL history. I mean, they had
- 30:22Speaker 1: a solid game against the Bengals. They were great against
- 30:27Speaker 1: the Falcons, okay against the Patriots, and they were just
- 30:32Speaker 1: downright terrible this week. Downright terrible, Pat. Patrick Queen getting
- 30:37Speaker 1: exposed on camera on the All-22, just taking plays off,
- 30:42Speaker 1: being absorbed in the blocks, Peyton Wilson doing the same thing.
- 30:46Speaker 1: It was terrible.
- 30:48Speaker 5: It was terrible, Pat.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Pat Queen made KC Concepcion look like prime Heinz Ward.
- 30:54Speaker 3: It made No sense. Pat Queen's effort was not there.
- 30:58Speaker 3: And like you said, inconsistent. That was my takeaway of like,
- 31:03Speaker 3: they really haven't made like any progress since they both
- 31:07Speaker 3: joined the team. It's just every year it's, you know,
- 31:11Speaker 3: a little more consistent, but it's not there. I mean,
- 31:14Speaker 3: they still can go out there and have a game
- 31:15Speaker 3: that looks like it's their first game in the Steelers uniform.
- 31:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 31:20Speaker 5: I can't go out there and say that.
- 31:22Speaker 1: And I, Who knows what waking up that morning to
- 31:26Speaker 1: your teammate being traded to Dallas for a pick.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Does to the psychological, does to the psych of the defense. Oh,
- 31:35Speaker 3: cry me a fucking river.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I'm not crying you a river, and I'm not making excuses.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I'm acknowledging it, okay? Having said that, Patrick Queen and
- 31:47Speaker 1: Peyton Wilson are– I can't go sit here and say
- 31:51Speaker 1: they're terrible players. I can't sit here and say they're
- 31:53Speaker 1: good players because sometimes they're good. And sometimes they're what
- 31:57Speaker 1: you saw on Thursday, just terrible, terrible, making zero impact
- 32:02Speaker 1: and being an absolute liability out there.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I think they're good players that have way
- 32:09Speaker 3: too many bad games.
- 32:10Speaker 1: That's a good way of putting it, Pat.
- 32:12Speaker 3: It's like every two, three games, they're going to look
- 32:15Speaker 3: like they've never played football before, or they just don't care.
- 32:17Speaker 7: Yep.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I'm seeing the same thing. Why don't you give us
- 32:21Speaker 1: the next one?
- 32:24Speaker 3: Yeah. Where can I go with this? I'll let you–
- 32:29Speaker 3: I'll do Boswell. I'll do Boswell. We were just talking
- 32:32Speaker 3: about his missed field goals. You know, in a close
- 32:36Speaker 3: game like this, that wasn't a chip shot by any means,
- 32:39Speaker 3: but he makes that field goal. It's a completely different
- 32:42Speaker 3: ball game.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Oh, and a third down sack bumps him up, you know,
- 32:46Speaker 1: bumps him back 10 yards. They got sacked out of
- 32:49Speaker 1: field goal range later in the game.
- 32:52Speaker 5: It wasn't all on Boz. Having said that, he needs
- 32:55Speaker 5: to get his shit together.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Are you concerned about Boz right now?
- 33:00Speaker 5: Yes, been concerned. Maybe not concerned is the right word, but.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Worried?
- 33:10Speaker 1: No, angry, upset. maybe worried. I mean, he is the
- 33:18Speaker 1: most expensive kicker in the league.
- 33:20Speaker 3: I think he's second, right?
- 33:21Speaker 1: Isn't, uh, no, they're, they're making him and Brandon Aubrey
- 33:24Speaker 1: are both making the same amount.
- 33:26Speaker 8: Okay. Yeah.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Um, I, that is a tricky question cause I'm not,
- 33:31Speaker 3: I am worried about Boswell, but if you were to
- 33:34Speaker 3: ask me on, you know, Sunday against the Colts, would
- 33:39Speaker 3: I treat to kick the plays. I'd have him kick
- 33:42Speaker 3: any differently.
- 33:43Speaker 2: No.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Like if, if there was a 56 yarder, would I
- 33:46Speaker 3: question sending balls out there? No, but I am concerned.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Yeah. Let's move on. Let's move on.
- 33:55Speaker 5: The Rogers stats lie.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Rogers had a bad game, but you look at the
- 33:58Speaker 1: stats and the box score and it doesn't look too
- 34:01Speaker 1: bad from him.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Right.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:05Speaker 3: He had a 300 or 299 yards. What, two touchdowns,
- 34:11Speaker 3: two interceptions?
- 34:13Speaker 1: Three touchdowns.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Three touchdowns, yep.
- 34:16Speaker 1: And he had that QB sneak for the two-point conversion.
- 34:18Speaker 1: You know that was his first quarterback sneak since 2020? Yeah.
- 34:20Speaker 1: That's crazy. That old man really doesn't like getting hit.
- 34:27Speaker 1: He looked high out there, Pat. Rodgers looked high as
- 34:33Speaker 1: a clam. And you know what?
- 34:34Speaker 5: It wasn't a Sunday 1 p.m.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Game. in good weather, Thursday night football, way past Roger's bedtime,
- 34:43Speaker 1: just not locked in. He looked high.
- 34:49Speaker 3: You're, you might be onto something with this big change.
- 34:51Speaker 3: You're the only one who seems to be reporting on this.
- 34:54Speaker 1: He looks high.
- 34:55Speaker 3: I'm talking about your not Sunday in perfect weather.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Yes.
- 35:02Speaker 8: Yes.
- 35:03Speaker 5: If the rain holds off this Sunday, it's a route
- 35:05Speaker 5: with the rain. I, I don't know.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Yeah, it's probably going to rain pretty hard.
- 35:09Speaker 1: I mean, a Sunday 1 o'clock game with good weather,
- 35:12Speaker 1: that's what we need. That's what we need every week
- 35:14Speaker 1: with Rodgers. Because maybe he takes his meds at a
- 35:17Speaker 1: certain time at night.
- 35:19Speaker 5: Pat, Pat, his eyes were bloodshot.
- 35:22Speaker 1: He looked high out there.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Yeah, and I was defending, not defending him, but I
- 35:27Speaker 3: wasn't as harsh on him as some people on X,
- 35:30Speaker 3: the Everything app, where I was a little more disappointed
- 35:36Speaker 3: in the offensive line at times, but there's no denying
- 35:39Speaker 3: he missed probably two touchdowns to DK Metcalf. He wasn't
- 35:43Speaker 3: moving around in the pocket well. The offensive line was
- 35:46Speaker 3: not great, but he walked into probably three of those sacks.
- 35:49Speaker 3: He got sacked, what, five times?
- 35:50Speaker 1: He overthrew Darnell.
- 35:51Speaker 3: He overthrew Darnell. He missed a couple balls.
- 35:54Speaker 1: He missed Muth in the end zone.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:57Speaker 1: He missed wide-open DK on the last play of the
- 35:59Speaker 1: game and said he's throwing a jump ball on quadruple
- 36:02Speaker 1: coverage to Roman Wilson.
- 36:03Speaker 3: It was just– it was a bizarre game because the
- 36:06Speaker 3: first drive looked like one of the best drives we
- 36:09Speaker 3: had seen in a while. And, you know, the last.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Drive– It was the best drive.
- 36:14Speaker 5: It was a 17-play, 10-minute drive.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Yeah, but there were a few penalties that kind of
- 36:19Speaker 3: bailed us out. That's why I'm hesitant to say the
- 36:22Speaker 3: best drive I've seen in a while. And then that
- 36:25Speaker 3: two-point conversion drive was, you know, fantastic too. I know
- 36:30Speaker 3: it didn't start out great going to– overthrowing Darnell, like
- 36:34Speaker 3: you said. I don't know. Rodgers made some vintage Rodgers
- 36:38Speaker 3: plays on Thursday, but he also just kind of played
- 36:42Speaker 3: like shit.
- 36:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 36:45Speaker 1: It was not good. Give us another stiff.
- 36:49Speaker 2: You're going to make me.
- 36:50Speaker 3: I'll save the last for you. Rayshon Jenkins. Rayshon Jenkins
- 36:56Speaker 3: played like absolute dog shit. He was replaced by rookie
- 37:00Speaker 3: Robert Spears Jennings. and yeah horrible that fucking blown assignment
- 37:06Speaker 3: that led to that touchdown on the left side of
- 37:09Speaker 3: the field there was that was that the boston am
- 37:11Speaker 3: i thinking of the.
- 37:12Speaker 5: The boston yeah daylon everett in coverage.
- 37:16Speaker 3: And uh robert spears jennings came in and played i
- 37:20Speaker 3: thought a pretty solid game.
- 37:21Speaker 5: First career interception.
- 37:23Speaker 3: First career interception it it was a little uh He
- 37:26Speaker 3: got a little lucky on it, right, tipping Jack Sawyer's fingers,
- 37:30Speaker 3: which was the right call.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know how they missed that at the line, though.
- 37:34Speaker 5: After watching the replay, I mean, it clearly tipped him.
- 37:36Speaker 2: I thought it tipped him, too, just live watching it.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Crazy.
- 37:41Speaker 3: So Steelers should be maybe possibly getting Elliott back, Deshaun
- 37:46Speaker 3: Elliott back this week or the following week, right? So
- 37:50Speaker 3: Rayshon Jenkins' time is going to be very limited in
- 37:53Speaker 3: the near future.
- 37:56Speaker 1: And the final stiff, this is what I get. This
- 38:00Speaker 1: is what I get, Pat, for declaring him a future
- 38:03Speaker 1: top five offensive lineman in Steeler history. The anchor, IMAX,
- 38:08Speaker 1: just not a good game from him. Need to see more.
- 38:10Speaker 1: You know, second career game. Looked good in the run game.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Had a couple, you know, whiff blocks in the passing game.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Did not look good in pass, bro. Really, really at all.
- 38:21Speaker 5: But, you know, we can build on this, Pat. We
- 38:23Speaker 5: can build on this. He's going to turn it up
- 38:24Speaker 5: this week.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I texted Aircraft after the game, and I'm like,
- 38:28Speaker 3: you know, I guess if there is any sort of
- 38:31Speaker 3: kind of positive news is I don't think Dylan Cook
- 38:34Speaker 3: would have done much better. No.
- 38:37Speaker 5: And he looked good in the run game.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:40Speaker 3: I thought the left offensive side, at first I was
- 38:43Speaker 3: like really pissed at the offensive line, one of the
- 38:45Speaker 3: worst games ever, yada, yada. And then I went back
- 38:48Speaker 3: and watched it.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I didn't think it was that bad.
- 38:50Speaker 2: No, yeah.
- 38:51Speaker 3: I think the left side of the line held up
- 38:53Speaker 3: pretty well, especially in the run game. Um, just that,
- 38:58Speaker 3: that right side with, with Hoffman and IMAX.
- 39:01Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Roger's got to put more together. Crouching tiger, hidden dragon review,
- 39:07Speaker 1: crouching tiger. Last week we had Harold fan and Harold
- 39:10Speaker 1: fan and did catch that, uh, short touchdown throw. What
- 39:13Speaker 1: did he finish with, with here? Three catches, 27 yards
- 39:17Speaker 1: and a touchdown. It was Denzel Boston, Casey conceptual on
- 39:20Speaker 1: that really killed us in the receiving game.
- 39:23Speaker 5: Um, Hidden Dragon was ourselves. Pat, would you say we
- 39:26Speaker 5: beat ourselves this week?
- 39:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:30Speaker 3: I'd say when the Browns have, you know, 60 penalties
- 39:33Speaker 3: for 2,000 yards in one game and you can't win,
- 39:37Speaker 3: that's probably beating yourself.
- 39:41Speaker 1: That fucking sucks.
- 39:43Speaker 3: And I had my quiet, not official Hidden Dragon that
- 39:48Speaker 3: ended up, Getting hurt, Mason Graham, that was going to
- 39:52Speaker 3: be a huge injury.
- 39:52Speaker 2: For the Browns.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Yeah, did they say how long he's going to be out?
- 39:55Speaker 2: No, I didn't see anything.
- 39:58Speaker 5: Quarterway through the season now, Pat, how are we feeling
- 40:00Speaker 5: at 2-2?
- 40:02Speaker 3: I still don't know what the fuck's going on. I mean,
- 40:07Speaker 3: week one, I felt like we were Super Bowl contenders.
- 40:11Speaker 3: Week two, I felt like this is the worst team
- 40:13Speaker 3: we've ever had. Week three, I felt like we were
- 40:16Speaker 3: Super Bowl contenders. Going against the Browns. I don't know
- 40:19Speaker 3: what the fuck is going on here.
- 40:22Speaker 1: I'm just going to stop expecting things to just go
- 40:25Speaker 1: along for the ride, just ride passenger this year, I think, Pat.
- 40:28Speaker 3: How do you feel about, I guess, I was going
- 40:32Speaker 3: to say the offensive and defensive coordinators, but I guess
- 40:35Speaker 3: Mike McCarthy and Pat Graham?
- 40:39Speaker 1: I think they're going to figure it out.
- 40:42Speaker 5: I like both Mike McCarthy and Pat Graham. I think
- 40:44Speaker 5: we're going to figure it out, Pat.
- 40:45Speaker 3: How do you feel about what they've done so far, though?
- 40:49Speaker 3: as a whole.
- 40:50Speaker 1: I think Pat Graham has been good. I think he's
- 40:54Speaker 1: been what this defense has needed. I think TJ has
- 40:56Speaker 1: stepped it up again and has reverted back to form.
- 40:59Speaker 1: And I think the offense needs to figure it out.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Do you think Pat Graham? So we are one of the,
- 41:08Speaker 3: I saw a stat. We're like 26th in the league
- 41:11Speaker 3: in quarterback pressures right now, which is obviously down tremendously
- 41:15Speaker 3: from last year. Is this a matter of, the Jimmy's
- 41:19Speaker 3: and Joe's just figuring out? Or, you know, at what
- 41:22Speaker 3: point does Pat Graham need to start blitzing more? Because
- 41:25Speaker 3: he really, he's been pretty confident he can get home with,
- 41:28Speaker 3: you know, blitzing four people. And we just aren't getting
- 41:30Speaker 3: pressure on the quarterback this year.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Well, the Browns, credit to them, had a good game plan.
- 41:36Speaker 1: The Bengals had the same game plan. You know, it's
- 41:39Speaker 1: dink and dunk, dink and dunk, dink and dunk. And then,
- 41:43Speaker 1: you know, Pat Graham's game plan has kind of let
- 41:45Speaker 1: him do that. You know, eventually they'll make mistakes or,
- 41:48Speaker 1: you know, you'll make a tackle, get a stop. It's
- 41:52Speaker 1: worked for the most part. I say, you know, I
- 41:55Speaker 1: think Pat Graham has been pretty, like, I don't think
- 41:58Speaker 1: he's going to stick this defense in a box. You know,
- 42:01Speaker 1: I think he's going to adapt and, you know, we'll
- 42:03Speaker 1: see changes. But who knows if they'll blitz more, Pat.
- 42:06Speaker 1: One thing I do want to see, though, is Herbig
- 42:10Speaker 1: needs to be put in better spots and he needs
- 42:13Speaker 1: to have more success. I think when they've been pairing
- 42:18Speaker 1: him up with Jack Sawyer, it's, you know, he's getting
- 42:22Speaker 1: doubled and they're leaving Sawyer one-on-one over there. Like he's
- 42:25Speaker 1: not being put in good spots. So I think that's
- 42:27Speaker 1: the one thing I'm looking forward.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:31Speaker 3: And he's been doing a lot in a lot of different,
- 42:34Speaker 3: I mean, in that two five that we like to
- 42:36Speaker 3: talk about on here, he's back in past pro more
- 42:40Speaker 3: than he has been in his career.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Yeah. So past coverage, excuse me.
- 42:46Speaker 3: And that's something too, like you said, just putting him
- 42:49Speaker 3: in a better position to succeed and capitalize on his
- 42:52Speaker 3: past rush.
- 42:53Speaker 2: That's been so good so far in his career.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Anything else you want to say before we go to commercial?
- 42:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I just, I'm not blaming the defensive struggles on
- 43:02Speaker 3: Pat Graham this week. I think it was more Jimmy's
- 43:04Speaker 3: and Joe's, but my line of questioning was kind of,
- 43:08Speaker 3: the answer I was sort of fishing for McGingy is
- 43:10Speaker 3: if this is going to be a trend throughout the
- 43:12Speaker 3: rest of the year, I want to see Pat Graham
- 43:15Speaker 3: step in and dial up some plays, get some pressure.
- 43:17Speaker 1: I think we'll see that, Pat.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:23Speaker 3: I mean, this defense was designed when, you know, you
- 43:26Speaker 3: put pressure on the quarterback. And when you're not doing that,
- 43:28Speaker 3: it looks pretty shitty. But, all right, that's all I
- 43:32Speaker 3: have to say. Why don't you stick with us through
- 43:34Speaker 3: this break? We're going to get into some Colts preview,
- 43:37Speaker 3: scouting reports, some betting advice, and, yeah, you know the drill.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Beer.
- 43:49Speaker 7: Cigarettes.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Football.
- 43:51Speaker 10: High fructose corn syrup.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Big trucks. Firework shows.
- 43:56Speaker 10: Heavy machinery.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Big game hunting.
- 43:59Speaker 10: Farmer's tans.
- 44:00Speaker 7: First responders.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Cuban cigars.
- 44:03Speaker 10: High cholesterol. More beer.
- 44:05Speaker 14: $ 10 blackjack hands.
- 44:07Speaker 10: 50 cent wings.
- 44:08Speaker 7: Truck nuts.
- 44:10Speaker 2: And tarps off radio. Here we go.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Well, hi there!
- 44:17Speaker 15: My name's Dick, and I'm the owner and proprietor.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Of Fremonta Family Farms.
- 44:23Speaker 15: At Fremonta Family Farms, we put family first. That's why
- 44:27Speaker 15: all our animals are bred locally, in-house, exclusively with members.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Of their own kin.
- 44:33Speaker 15: We don't use any of them liberal city boy GMO
- 44:36Speaker 15: hormonal cows.
- 44:38Speaker 10: We breed the old-fashioned way.
- 44:40Speaker 15: Couple candles in the barn, cow jams, volumes one through four.
- 44:45Speaker 1: and some gentle coercion.
- 44:47Speaker 15: We've worked hard this summer to ensure our cows have
- 44:51Speaker 15: 30% less hepatitis. Not only do we milk our cows
- 44:55Speaker 15: by hand, but we slaughter using our bare hands as well.
- 45:00Speaker 15: None of them fancy, high-powered, unethical killing machines. Just my
- 45:05Speaker 15: cousin Tucker and a few left hooks. We also don't
- 45:08Speaker 15: just milk cows. We'll provide you with whatever milk you please. Hell,
- 45:13Speaker 15: I'll milk a pig for you.
- 45:14Speaker 10: We can milk a horse.
- 45:16Speaker 15: I'll even milk my old blue tick, Betsy. Visit any
- 45:19Speaker 15: of our 12 locations with the finest quality from Monday cheese, dairy.
- 45:24Speaker 10: And meat around.
- 45:26Speaker 15: You can find our vans parked in the handicapped space
- 45:29Speaker 15: at your local gas station Tuesdays and Thursdays from.
- 45:32Speaker 10: 1 to 4 a.m.
- 45:34Speaker 3: And please, tell them.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Dick sent you.
- 45:46Speaker 3: All right, you sexy fucks.
- 45:48Speaker 2: I love you.
- 45:49Speaker 3: Thanks for sticking around. All right, McGingy, we know the
- 45:54Speaker 3: joke by now. It's going to be slight chance of
- 45:58Speaker 3: rain at 1 o'clock on Sunday down at Ironsfield. Steelers 2.5-point favorites.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Over-unders head at 44.5 points. Why don't you tell me, McGingy,
- 46:09Speaker 3: why do we hate the Colts?
- 46:11Speaker 1: Well, for starters, Pat, let's not ignore the history of
- 46:14Speaker 1: this franchise. They used to be the Baltimore Colts. But
- 46:18Speaker 1: we don't need to go down that rabbit hole. I
- 46:20Speaker 1: think we did that last year. I want to bring
- 46:22Speaker 1: attention to that fat loser, Seth DeFlo. Hey, buddy, maybe
- 46:28Speaker 1: wishing injury on Aaron Rodgers last year was a bad idea.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Maybe wishing harm on someone isn't very Christ-like for someone
- 46:37Speaker 1: who's a worshiper. Colts were 7-1 before you did that.
- 46:42Speaker 2: 7-1.
- 46:44Speaker 1: And then you released that stupid video wishing injuries on
- 46:47Speaker 1: my quarterback, and you lost eight of your last nine.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Colts finished under. 500, and you didn't have a first-round pick. Ha-ha,
- 46:56Speaker 1: screw you, buddy. An impressive performance, if I'm being honest.
- 47:01Speaker 1: It all falls on your shoulders, Seth. Don't you ever
- 47:03Speaker 1: wish injury on my quarterback again. And, Pat, I'm making
- 47:08Speaker 1: a promise here, okay? I'm making a promise. If Rogers
- 47:12Speaker 1: gets hurt this week, if Seth the Flow cranked up
- 47:16Speaker 1: some voodoo to injure my quarterback, I will be hiring
- 47:20Speaker 1: an Etsy witch, and it will not be good for you, Seth,
- 47:23Speaker 1: you disgusting rat.
- 47:26Speaker 5: Pat, what kind of spells could we cast on this guy?
- 47:28Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 47:30Speaker 3: You'd be coming after Seth the Flow.
- 47:34Speaker 10: He's a piece of shit.
- 47:36Speaker 2: How about Dickius Flaccidus?
- 47:40Speaker 5: I don't think that guy ever gets any pussy.
- 47:43Speaker 3: How about ejaculo prematurnum?
- 47:48Speaker 1: I bet you he already suffers from that, Pat.
- 47:52Speaker 3: Infectious hepatitis.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Yes, hepatitis. The Hep C witch will give him hepatitis.
- 48:00Speaker 1: That's a good one, Pat. Which one? Hepatitis A, hepatitis B?
- 48:04Speaker 3: Hey, I'm not paying the witch anything extra to make
- 48:07Speaker 3: that happen.
- 48:09Speaker 1: I will be covering this witch, Pat. I will 100%
- 48:12Speaker 1: be hiring an Etsy witch if my quarterback goes down
- 48:15Speaker 1: under Seth DeFlo's watch after he wishes injury on him.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm washing my hands of this.
- 48:22Speaker 1: We got to think of a good spell. Everyone listening
- 48:28Speaker 1: out there, let me know. If you got any thoughts, ideas,
- 48:31Speaker 1: I'm tossing this one out to the listeners, okay?
- 48:37Speaker 2: Damn.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Yeah, moving on to the scouting report. The Colts are
- 48:41Speaker 1: coming into this game on dead legs after spending last
- 48:44Speaker 1: weekend in London time. However, they are coming off two
- 48:48Speaker 1: good wins, the first being over division rival Houston Texans.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Colts are similar to the Steelers in the sense that
- 48:55Speaker 1: they're still trying to figure out who they are, if
- 48:58Speaker 1: they're any good, if they're bad. Daniel Jones does lead them,
- 49:02Speaker 1: you know, 26th-ranked passing offense, averaging about 175 yards per game.
- 49:07Speaker 1: The wide receiver core on this team can be partial
- 49:10Speaker 1: to blame as well, and they spent money in the
- 49:12Speaker 1: offseason out in Keenan Allen and Darius Slayton, but the
- 49:15Speaker 1: injury bug has left Alec Pierce out, who they gave
- 49:19Speaker 1: a big contract to. Jonathan Stahler's still one of the
- 49:23Speaker 1: best backs in the league that's how this team's been
- 49:26Speaker 1: able to stay in games they're averaging 110 yards per
- 49:28Speaker 1: game on the grounds which is good for 14th in
- 49:30Speaker 1: the league the Colts have also done a good job
- 49:32Speaker 1: of finding the end zone so even though they're 25th
- 49:35Speaker 1: in total yards they're They do average 25.5 points per game,
- 49:40Speaker 1: which is good for 13th. Defensively, they're a problem. It's
- 49:45Speaker 1: a similar story to the Colts of past. Even with
- 49:48Speaker 1: star cornerbacks Sauce Gardner and Traverius Ward, they're getting gashed,
- 49:53Speaker 1: allowing almost 400 yards per game, 31st in the NFL.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Only the Lions are allowing more yards than this defense.
- 50:01Speaker 1: And the defense struggles to generate turnovers. The Colts have
- 50:04Speaker 1: a minus-two turnover differential. And I don't have a stat
- 50:08Speaker 1: for this, but if you watch the Colts tape, you
- 50:10Speaker 1: can see they are a terrible tackling defense.
- 50:13Speaker 5: They struggle to tackle. They struggle to stop the run.
- 50:17Speaker 5: Not a good formula for winning football games, Pat.
- 50:23Speaker 3: Well said, McGingey.
- 50:25Speaker 2: Well said.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm looking at their roster right now. I mean,
- 50:30Speaker 3: obviously they have Tyler Warren as well. Mo Alley-Cox, I
- 50:35Speaker 3: forgot he was on the Colts there. It looks like
- 50:37Speaker 3: Josh Downs and Keenan Allen are set to be wide
- 50:41Speaker 3: receivers one and two there, huh?
- 50:45Speaker 1: Yeah, and let me tell you this. Penn State fans,
- 50:48Speaker 1: Colts fans, and Tyler Warren fantasy owners have a problem
- 50:52Speaker 1: with how the Colts are using Tyler Warren this year.
- 50:55Speaker 3: Okay.
- 50:55Speaker 1: I'll get into that.
- 50:56Speaker 5: Doobie, why don't you give us the injury report real quick?
- 51:01Speaker 2: Sure, fellas. We'll start with the Steelers. Unfortunately, we all
- 51:04Speaker 2: heard Coach McCarthy let us know Derek Harmon's going to
- 51:08Speaker 2: the IR. Jamel Dean is doubtful with that ankle. Maybe
- 51:14Speaker 2: we'll get lucky.
- 51:15Speaker 3: You heard it from Pat's Inside Source last week.
- 51:19Speaker 2: I told you. Ankle the size of a grapefruit.
- 51:24Speaker 7: Yep.
- 51:27Speaker 2: We did hear Deshaun Elliott.
- 51:29Speaker 5: What's the medical diagnosis for a grapefruit, Doobie?
- 51:33Speaker 2: We'll have to get back to you on that. A grinkle.
- 51:37Speaker 2: He had a grinkle. That's Latin. Yeah.
- 51:43Speaker 3: Pig Latin.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Want me to look up what the pig Latin word
- 51:47Speaker 1: for grapefruit is? Hey, chat GPT. Just kidding. I use grok.
- 51:57Speaker 8: All right.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Well, that's all we got for this. Wow.
- 51:59Speaker 8: Wow.
- 52:00Speaker 16: Wow.
- 52:00Speaker 5: The big Latin word for grapefruit is a fruit gay.
- 52:07Speaker 1: I'm not even kidding.
- 52:08Speaker 5: That's, that's, that's disgusting term.
- 52:11Speaker 1: I'm mad. I Googled that.
- 52:14Speaker 5: Go ahead, Jimmy. Sorry for interrupting you.
- 52:17Speaker 2: Fucking pig Latin. So Colts defensive end, Arden Key, he
- 52:24Speaker 2: will be out. Keenan Allen, actually, Pat, I know you
- 52:27Speaker 2: just mentioned him. He is questionable to play. And, yeah,
- 52:33Speaker 2: their other starting wide receiver, Alec Pierce, is obviously he's
- 52:36Speaker 2: on IR. He is not eligible to come back until
- 52:39Speaker 2: October 25th, so he will definitely be out this week.
- 52:43Speaker 1: $ 100 million man, Alec Pierce.
- 52:50Speaker 5: Has Alec Pierce... Reached the status of super honky yet?
- 52:56Speaker 2: I mean.
- 52:56Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 52:58Speaker 2: Not quite.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Probably not.
- 52:59Speaker 3: Not quite. That's earned, not given.
- 53:02Speaker 7: True.
- 53:02Speaker 2: He's very close.
- 53:04Speaker 3: No, I'm thinking George Kittle.
- 53:08Speaker 2: Gronk.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Josh Allen.
- 53:11Speaker 2: I think those are like mega super honkies.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Yeah, we might need to update the tier list of
- 53:16Speaker 1: super honkies.
- 53:16Speaker 2: We're talking about a wide receiver here. Like this guy
- 53:19Speaker 2: is still, you know.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Maybe he's just not a super honky. He can be
- 53:23Speaker 1: a honky.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Well, we're all.
- 53:28Speaker 3: I mean, we don't give out participation trophies in the
- 53:30Speaker 3: honky games, dude. Just because he's a wide receiver.
- 53:35Speaker 2: This is a wide receiver, boys.
- 53:38Speaker 1: So is Swiffer.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Don't get me started.
- 53:42Speaker 1: I almost had you there. Anyways, Pat, what were we
- 53:46Speaker 1: saying before the injuries?
- 53:49Speaker 3: You were talking about– I don't know. Tyler Ward's fantasy
- 53:54Speaker 3: owners are upset.
- 53:54Speaker 1: All they're doing this year. I watch all these Colts games.
- 53:58Speaker 5: I got Tyler Ward on my fantasy team.
- 54:00Speaker 1: They're just throwing him these short, dink and dunk, you know,
- 54:06Speaker 1: little bubble screens. Like, he's not a downfield receiver this year.
- 54:11Speaker 1: I think that if– and where I'm going with this, Pat,
- 54:14Speaker 1: is I think if Pat Graham comes out in that soft,
- 54:17Speaker 1: soft defense that we've seen the first three weeks, it's
- 54:19Speaker 1: going to be a lot of Tyler Ward this week.
- 54:22Speaker 3: Yeah, and you're going to be fucking cheering him and
- 54:25Speaker 3: Jonathan Taylor on in the stands, huh?
- 54:26Speaker 1: You fucking loser. I might bench him.
- 54:28Speaker 3: You should bench him.
- 54:29Speaker 1: I don't have a tight end on my team, though,
- 54:31Speaker 1: and I don't have another running back.
- 54:35Speaker 3: Well, I know TJ Hawkinson. He's projected to have a
- 54:39Speaker 3: big week. He's on the waiver wire right now.
- 54:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm number one on the waiver wire. I'm not
- 54:44Speaker 1: picking up TJ Hawkinson.
- 54:45Speaker 3: So I guess you just fucking want the students to
- 54:47Speaker 3: lose then.
- 54:50Speaker 1: You know what? If you want to make that conclusion,
- 54:52Speaker 1: you're stupid, but you're allowed.
- 54:54Speaker 3: That's fucking insane, dude. It's just the second fucking week
- 54:57Speaker 3: I got to watch the Steelers play at home with
- 55:00Speaker 3: the fucking owner of the.
- 55:01Speaker 5: I'm not rooting for him.
- 55:03Speaker 1: I'm not rooting. I just have to play them, Pat.
- 55:06Speaker 2: No.
- 55:07Speaker 1: I'm fighting for.
- 55:09Speaker 5: You know what I'm fighting for.
- 55:10Speaker 3: I'll be playing DK Metcalf against Sauce Gardner.
- 55:13Speaker 2: You don't hear me complaining.
- 55:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I would too. If I had DK, you want
- 55:18Speaker 1: to trade me DK?
- 55:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll trade you DK for Jonathan Taylor.
- 55:23Speaker 2: Yeah. And then I'll sit Jonathan Taylor this week.
- 55:25Speaker 1: That's stupid. That's stupid.
- 55:27Speaker 5: You're an idiot.
- 55:28Speaker 1: And then you trade him back to me?
- 55:30Speaker 2: Yes.
- 55:31Speaker 1: Actually?
- 55:32Speaker 2: No.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I would do that.
- 55:35Speaker 2: You're not getting him back.
- 55:38Speaker 1: Okay. Well, then I can't do it. I'm playing against
- 55:40Speaker 1: you this week.
- 55:41Speaker 2: You realize that, right?
- 55:42Speaker 7: I know.
- 55:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I do realize that.
- 55:43Speaker 2: That's why I'm saying what I'm saying.
- 55:46Speaker 5: I would trade you Jonathan Taylor for DK Metcalf.
- 55:50Speaker 2: Okay.
- 55:50Speaker 1: For this week.
- 55:51Speaker 3: Okay.
- 55:53Speaker 1: You're not doing it.
- 55:56Speaker 2: And he'll be on my bench.
- 55:57Speaker 1: You don't even want me to start a Steeler.
- 55:59Speaker 3: I'll make that trade.
- 56:01Speaker 5: What happens if I pick up Roman Wilson and start him?
- 56:05Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Go ahead? Maybe I will. Yeah, you should.
- 56:08Speaker 5: Maybe I'll use my first in the waiver wire position
- 56:10Speaker 5: to take out Roman Wilson.
- 56:11Speaker 3: Yeah, please do.
- 56:12Speaker 1: Maybe I will.
- 56:15Speaker 3: Interested? Am I interested?
- 56:18Speaker 8: No.
- 56:21Speaker 5: Obviously the big loss for the stewards this week, no
- 56:23Speaker 5: Derek Harmon.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that sucks.
- 56:26Speaker 5: And a week against Jonathan Taylor as well.
- 56:31Speaker 3: That'll be– yeah, that'll be huge. So who do you
- 56:36Speaker 3: elevate then, McGingy?
- 56:37Speaker 2: Rubio or– What's that?
- 56:42Speaker 5: It's got to be Rubio. We got to see him
- 56:44Speaker 5: this week.
- 56:45Speaker 3: What about Seabass, Sebastian Joseph Day?
- 56:48Speaker 1: Well, I think– Sebastian Joseph Day will get, you know,
- 56:52Speaker 1: obviously more playing time.
- 56:55Speaker 5: But I think getting a roster spot, it's got to
- 56:57Speaker 5: be Gabe Rubio.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I mean, a team like Indianapolis that has a terrible
- 57:01Speaker 1: passing attack, I would imagine the Steelers stack the box
- 57:05Speaker 1: quite a lot. I would expect them to roster Gabe
- 57:08Speaker 1: Rubio for this game. I have the stats here too, Pat,
- 57:12Speaker 1: of the Steelers running defense with Harmon and without Harmon.
- 57:18Speaker 3: Yeah, let's hear it. This is from last year or
- 57:21Speaker 3: from this year.
- 57:22Speaker 2: And last year?
- 57:22Speaker 1: This is both.
- 57:25Speaker 5: Well, I guess he's played this year.
- 57:29Speaker 1: With Derek Harmon on the field, the teams are averaging
- 57:37Speaker 1: 91 rushing yards per game. Without Derek Harmon, teams are
- 57:43Speaker 1: averaging 165 rushing yards per game. That's a difference of
- 57:49Speaker 1: 75 yards per game rushing. Yeah. Not good, Pat. Not
- 57:56Speaker 1: good against a week where you're playing a team with
- 58:00Speaker 1: a deficient passing attack and Jonathan Taylor getting carries.
- 58:04Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 58:06Speaker 3: No, I know.
- 58:07Speaker 2: It's absolutely a concern.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Who knows? I hope that it'll be different. I think
- 58:12Speaker 1: Patrick Graham probably is aware of this. We did beef
- 58:16Speaker 1: up with Sebastian Joseph Day, who has played well for
- 58:19Speaker 1: the first couple of games. I don't know. We'll see.
- 58:21Speaker 1: I'll tell you what, though.
- 58:23Speaker 5: That other backup who got paid needs to start showing up.
- 58:26Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Neither of those guys have sacks so far this year.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Keanu Benton has been pushed around left and right. They're
- 58:34Speaker 1: still using him at nose tackle.
- 58:36Speaker 5: I don't know, Pat.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:39Speaker 2: And I had mentioned Seabass. I was brain fart. I
- 58:42Speaker 2: was thinking of Kevin Jobity Jr.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Jobity.
- 58:46Speaker 3: Jobity, yeah. He's another person we have stashed. I believe
- 58:49Speaker 3: he's on the practice squad as of right now.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Kevin Djibouti.
- 58:54Speaker 4: Djibouti, yeah.
- 58:55Speaker 1: He made the roster.
- 58:57Speaker 17: Yes.
- 58:57Speaker 3: Oh, is he on the active roster?
- 58:59Speaker 1: He made it.
- 59:00Speaker 3: I know he made the team, but he got moved
- 59:03Speaker 3: to the practice squad.
- 59:04Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Maybe he did. Maybe he didn't. I wasn't keeping up
- 59:08Speaker 1: with Djibouti.
- 59:10Speaker 2: I'm always on the Djibouti.
- 59:12Speaker 1: If you're wondering, Pat, how Jonathan Taylor has done against
- 59:16Speaker 1: the Steelers in the past, four career games. Last year
- 59:20Speaker 1: with Derek Harmon, we held him to 14 carries, 45 yards,
- 59:24Speaker 1: no touchdowns. 2024. Two years ago, 88 yards on 21
- 59:32Speaker 1: carries and a touchdown. 2022, 86 yards on 20 carries
- 59:37Speaker 1: and a touchdown. And 2020, he had two touchdowns, 74 yards.
- 59:43Speaker 5: So he's never had a 100-yard game on the Steelers.
- 59:46Speaker 5: I think we're probably looking at like.
- 59:49Speaker 1: 60, 70 yards and a touchdown if we want to
- 59:54Speaker 1: win this game.
- 59:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:58Speaker 3: How concerned are you overall about Jonathan Taylor just breaking
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: open this game and dashing us?
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: It could happen.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I'm just– I'm not– as far as concern, if I'm
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the Steelers, I'm definitely game-planning for Jonathan Taylor. Concern as
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: a fan of can we stop Jonathan Taylor, I'm not
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: all that concerned.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: I think they can key on him. I think they
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: would do a good job stopping him.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: I'm very concerned. Yeah, I bet. Tell me why, Pat.
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: Is it Derek Harmon?
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Well, it's Derek Hartman, and I just– I don't know.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: I mean, they don't do much else. I feel like
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: I– the Colts, I mean, I feel like I've seen
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: this play out many times before at Heinz Field.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: So, you know.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Well, here's how Daniel Jones has done against the Steelers.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: 0 for 3 in his career. Last year he was
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: 31 of 50. They threw the ball 50 times last year.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: 31 of 50, one touchdown, three interceptions, 342 yards.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: And he had two fumbles as well.
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: Yep.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: So they did gash us last year through the air.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: 2024 with the Giants, he had no touchdowns, one pick,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: 264 yards. And 2020 COVID year, two touchdowns, two picks,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: 279 yards. Never won.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Well, why don't we get into some Pat's keys to victories?
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Tell me, Pat.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: I have four this week because I think there's a
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: lot they're going to need to do. Not that it's
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: some crazy hard matchup, but you got to create turnovers
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: first and foreskin. Four interceptions, three fumbles in four games
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: for Daniel Jones. So he has seven turnovers in four
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: games as of right now. He's turning the ball over
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: like crazy. Last year, we talked about this. Steelers caused
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: six turnovers, three interceptions, and two Daniel Jones fumbles. fumbles
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: josh downs had a fumble as well so this is
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: a team where if you don't have maybe at least
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: two three turnovers you're putting yourself in a bad position.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Yeah couldn't agree more we need to win that turnover
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: battle baby.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: Another one uh get ahead early right get.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Ahead early points points points for.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: Staniel jones to throw the ball if you get if
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: you get up you know 10 points in the second
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: quarter i mean that's a great spot to be in And,
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: you know, just don't take your foot off the gas.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Points, points, points.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: The best way to defend Jonathan Taylor is to keep
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: him on the sideline, McGee.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Points, points, points.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: Let's get the 2-5 out. Let's pressure Daniel Jones and
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: get some extra run stoppers. I want to see three
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: outside linebackers on that field. The majority of the game,
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: they don't have anyone in terms of receiving that really
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: scares me. tyler warren potentially but apart from that i
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: see no reason why you can't really lean into that
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: set with the three outside.
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: Linebackers yeah the uh four three.
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: Yeah that two five we love we got to capitalize
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: on turnovers as well like gg it's not enough we
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: saw this you know last week we saw this quite
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: a bit in the pit pit football game two different
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: teams obviously but Grading turnovers is not enough. You got
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: to capitalize on the turnovers. Steelers in general in the
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: red zone, they're 28th in the league in red zone
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: touchdown percentage at 44.44% through four games, right? If that
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: was their season average, 44%, that would be their worst
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: mark since 2019.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Yikes.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Yikes. And I like the way the offense is trending,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: but yeah, they need to figure it out.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: And it's been, strangely enough, it's been the third and manageable,
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: like two to seven, two to six, third down.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: That's where they've struggled.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: I mean, they've been getting in third and manageable, but
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: they just can't pick up four, five, six yards.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Yeah, and I would like to throw the first two
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: weeks out of the window and judge this team based
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: on the last two weeks.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: I think a lot of it, too, and you saw
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: this more in the first two weeks, to your point,
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: was Aaron Rodgers' tendency to just air it out for
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: 30 yards in the air on third down when it
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: doesn't need to happen. Like, I feel like week one
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: and two, we saw that quite a bit. Oh, it's
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: third and six. Let me try to hit DK for
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: a 40-yard gain.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm excited to watch a football game this week, Pat.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I think our offense is going to bring it.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: Well, if you think our offense is going to bring it,
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: why don't you tell us your score prediction, McJingy?
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: 31-20, Steelers.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: 31-20, 11-point victory.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I think it's a comfortable win this week, 31-20 Steelers.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: I'm going a different route.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: I'm going 27-24 Steelers. Yep, think it's going to be
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: a close game. I think Jonathan Taylor is going to
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: have a great game. I think there's going to be three,
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: four turnovers that the Steelers are going to cause on defense,
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: and they're just not going to be able to capitalize.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Wow. That's a close game, Pat.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Oh, Pat knows.
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: Pat's aware.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Moving on to McGinchey's hot lead. I'm on a streak here,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: and it's not going the right way. So this is
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: the show-stopping week. We need to hunker down, and we
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: need to win. Win, win, win. Six and five now
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: last week. We had Jags-Bengals over. Jags had 10 penalties
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: for 100 yards in the first half. Really got screwed
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: out of points there time and time again. This week
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: we're going for a twofer. And the first one is
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Steelers minus two and a half. I am locked in
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: this week. I think this team's going to roll over
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: the Colts. The second one is to be determined. I
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: need to wait until the slate shakes out. I need
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: to see where the money is moving. And I'm going
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: to release a pick on Friday that will be the
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: official pick for this week. So look at my Twitter.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: The pick will be given out today. first one Steelers
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: minus two and a half. And the second one, I'm
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: really going to put some effort into this one and
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: it's going to be a winner.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: I like it. I like it.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Just, just stay tuned. Look for it on Friday. I'll,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: I'll make sure everyone sees it. How should we get
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: to the grass interview?
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Good call.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: Good call. Let's get to our conversation with Phil, the
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: King of grass.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: The grass expert. You know, we're just grass enthusiasts. He's
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: the grass expert. Kick it on over to ourselves.
- 1:06:52Speaker 10: Does your fucking kick not work anymore? Are you tired
- 1:06:56Speaker 10: of feeling like less of a man?
- 1:06:59Speaker 18: This is four-time Baranaco, Allegheny County Ultimate Fighting Champion Rip LaRocca.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: And I'm here to talk to.
- 1:07:06Speaker 10: You about a problem affecting a lot of men out there.
- 1:07:10Speaker 18: A reptile dysfunction. If your dick can't get hard, that
- 1:07:15Speaker 18: means you're a fucking pussy. And everyone on the streets
- 1:07:18Speaker 18: could be looking to take a piece of your ass.
- 1:07:20Speaker 18: But don't worry, sissy boy. I got the perfect solution
- 1:07:24Speaker 18: to you. Rhino Rick's Extreme Rhino Thrust. Four rhinos had
- 1:07:31Speaker 18: to die to make just one of our pills. If
- 1:07:34Speaker 18: that doesn't make you rock fucking hard, then I can't help.
- 1:07:39Speaker 19: The FDA can suck my balls. They don't care about.
- 1:07:44Speaker 18: Getting your dick rock fucking hard.
- 1:07:46Speaker 19: All they care about is polluting America with their corporate bullshit.
- 1:07:52Speaker 10: That's why I said, fuck the FDA.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Fuck the FDA.
- 1:07:57Speaker 10: And I said, fuck PETA too.
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: Fuck you too, PETA.
- 1:08:02Speaker 10: You know what PETA's short for? Pedophile.
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: And I'll be goddamn if I'm promoting pedophilia with my
- 1:08:09Speaker 8: fucking pills.
- 1:08:11Speaker 19: So give Rick the Rhino a call if you want
- 1:08:14Speaker 19: to walk around with your dick.
- 1:08:16Speaker 10: Harder than fuck.
- 1:08:17Speaker 8: Because I'm still with the only proven 100% placebo-based erectile
- 1:08:23Speaker 8: dysfunction treatment.
- 1:08:25Speaker 10: It's not placebo if it fucking works.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: And we talked about it a few times on this
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: show already, but Heinz Field got a new grass system
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: this year. You know, his complaints mounted up last year,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: specifically from Boswell. And you all know Pat Doobie and
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: I are grass enthusiasts only, not grass experts. Christ, grass
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: is already getting to me. So to join us here
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: today is grass expert Big Phil. Big Phil, thanks for
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: coming on. Round of applause here.
- 1:08:57Speaker 13: Hey, hey.
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: Yeah, Big Phil.
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: The grass king let's talk some grass big phil as
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: you know uh well you know what for starters let
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: me ask you this why don't you fill the people
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: in big phil on your background and and how you
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: became a grass expert Oh, yeah.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: While you're doing that, Phil, I'm going to enjoy some
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: grass over here myself.
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: Please do. I would expect nothing less.
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: Yeah, I've been mowing grass my whole life, man. Went
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: to college, got a degree in grass, and I did
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: my internship for five years down stadium, down Heinz. And
- 1:09:35Speaker 6: I was fortunate enough to work there. It's a cool gig.
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: We'll be in landscape now, but I got a nice
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: behind the scenes of how the stadium operates, how, how
- 1:09:45Speaker 6: things go in the NFL and in college, as you guys.
- 1:09:49Speaker 7: Know, multi-purpose stadium.
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: So yeah, it's been about 12 years total in the
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: industry now.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Cross expert. Like, like we fucking said now, Phil, Can
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: you tell us a little bit about this new system
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: this year, how it differs up from the one they
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: were using years past?
- 1:10:10Speaker 6: Yeah, really, the only difference is the type of grass
- 1:10:13Speaker 6: or sod itself, you know, root zone system, drainage system,
- 1:10:17Speaker 6: all that stuff still the same. Historically, Heinz has had
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: Kentucky blue. For the past 20 plus years, we saw
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: a trend around the league the last five years or
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: so of teams, especially in the north, switching to Bermuda grass.
- 1:10:36Speaker 6: Really where that shift happened was when somebody started growing
- 1:10:41Speaker 6: sod on plastic.
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: Just a quick background.
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: The Bermuda is grown on a normal turf farm and
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: it's harvested like it would be ready to ship to
- 1:10:50Speaker 6: the stadium.
- 1:10:51Speaker 7: And then they actually ship it to another farm.
- 1:10:53Speaker 6: Farm or area of a farm and they lay it
- 1:10:56Speaker 6: on like a plastic sheeting on top of the soil.
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: And what happens is the roots of the Bermuda, um,
- 1:11:03Speaker 6: you know, they kind of head downward, um, for the
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: soil and they hit that plastic and have nowhere to go.
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: So they intertwine, right. And they get super tight and
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: bound and woven. And that kind of makes the sod bulletproof,
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: tear proof. Um, so it's holding up a lot stronger. Um,
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: and then it just gets, Yeah, it gets harvested like
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: the normal Kentucky bluewood at an inch and three quarter depth.
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: So it has some soil on the bottom.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: So is Kentucky bluegrass grown a little differently then?
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: Yeah, a little bit.
- 1:11:32Speaker 6: They have different growth types. Kentucky blue is a cool
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: season grass. Bermuda is a warm season grass. So Kentucky blue, it's...
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: It's rhizominous, so it tillers underground and shoots roots out
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: underground and they pop up, whereas Bermuda stoloniferous and kind
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: of grows on top of the ground. It's really leggy
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: and kind of intertwined. It's a lot stronger. And then
- 1:11:54Speaker 6: when you throw in the addition of growing it on plastic,
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: I think a lot of people were seeing success with that.
- 1:11:59Speaker 6: The challenge was being a warm season grass. It was
- 1:12:02Speaker 6: predominantly present in the south. Southern NFL stadiums, baseball, SEC, college,
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: stuff like that. So I think really Philly and then
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: Kansas City were the first two northern teams to experiment
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: with the Bermuda grass in the winter. Um, essentially what
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: happens is it stops growing. It goes dormant, uh, late
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: into the fall. And then, um, you know, it, it's
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: kind of dormant. It'll go off color, but they have
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: the ability to paint and diet. Um, now guys are
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: keeping a dream with, yeah, grow lights and stuff like that.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Cause that's the type of grass that they have down.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Like you said, down South. So down at like Augusta
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: and down at the golf courses where they stay, I mean,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: they spend Augusta alone spends millions in green paint a year.
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: Yeah, they actually don't even paint it down there at Augusta.
- 1:12:48Speaker 6: They just overseed with perennial rye. So the Masters is
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: played on 100% perennial ryegrass, but it gets overseeded right
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: now in the fall. And then that perennial rye has
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: all winter and spring to germinate and they'll play the
- 1:13:00Speaker 6: Masters on perennial rye and it dies off in the
- 1:13:03Speaker 6: heat of the summer and that Bermuda comes back. So
- 1:13:05Speaker 6: there's times of year Augusta looks like a concrete driveway.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: You just never see it.
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: So that's the same type of surface, you know, being
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: used in the Bermuda grasses and the Tahoma 31s and stuff.
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: But the teams up north found that, you know, even
- 1:13:20Speaker 6: if it goes off color, the playability of it is
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: so much stronger. So it's worth having. And they've gotten
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: good now to where the only two teams I'm aware
- 1:13:29Speaker 6: of in the east that are playing on Kentucky Blue
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: or Green Bay and Buffalo's new stadium and Denver has
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: it out west. But everybody else is on Bermuda if
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: they have natural grass now.
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: Right, and I'm imagining that Bermuda is a little bit
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: more expensive then, huh?
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: It is.
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: That's probably why it took Rooney a little bit of
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: time to switch.
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: 100%, yeah. I don't remember exactly the cost. I think
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: it was running close to a quarter million total resod
- 1:13:57Speaker 6: with the Bermuda. That was seven, eight years ago, so
- 1:14:01Speaker 6: I'm sure it's probably more now. But yeah, it definitely
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: runs higher.
- 1:14:05Speaker 7: Yeah, as expected.
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: Yeah, teams are having to spend a lot more with
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: multi-purpose stadiums and events.
- 1:14:12Speaker 7: I mean, Philly had a.
- 1:14:13Speaker 6: Field in there for the first couple preseason, I think
- 1:14:17Speaker 6: the first regular season game.
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: They actually tore out the World Cup field, put in a.
- 1:14:21Speaker 6: Preseason field, and then they just had an ACDC concert
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: Tuesday of last week. They cut the field out, laid
- 1:14:28Speaker 6: the new Bermuda, and they played on it in the
- 1:14:30Speaker 6: rain against the Rams on Sunday. So just a ton
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: of sodding going on around the league.
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: Wow.
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: Pat's got a question for you.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: Yeah, this might be a stupid fucking question, Phil, but
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: what type of grass is most common in our front
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: and backyards in Pittsburgh? Is it one specific type?
- 1:14:49Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: There's a good bit of bluegrass up there, but the fescues,
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: like tall fescue and stuff like that is pretty popular
- 1:14:56Speaker 6: just in like your common areas or your, you know,
- 1:14:59Speaker 6: front yards in Pittsburgh. Kentucky bluegrass is considered like the
- 1:15:02Speaker 6: Cadillac of, you know, nicer grasses, cool season grasses. It's
- 1:15:07Speaker 6: considered the most wear tolerant grass of the cool season grasses.
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: With that being said, it's not the most wear tolerant,
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: you know, overall when you consider some of the warm
- 1:15:19Speaker 6: season grasses like Bermuda.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: I'll piggybacking off that, Pat, you sparked something. What's the,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: what's the difference? Like you work for the Steelers, you
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: work on your lawn. How are those treated differently?
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Not a whole lot.
- 1:15:34Speaker 6: The same cultural practices, obviously mowing is obvious. And then
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: the fertilizers are, Um, there's a lot more, um, chemicals
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: that go down, um, on high end, you know, stadiums,
- 1:15:45Speaker 6: golf courses, uh, fields like that. Um, there's, you know,
- 1:15:49Speaker 6: disease prevention, um, chemicals that go down.
- 1:15:52Speaker 5: There's like AIDS probably pretty much.
- 1:15:55Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: There's blood.
- 1:15:57Speaker 7: Yep. Fungicides, um, stuff like that.
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: You get like a lot of hot, humid nights in Pittsburgh, um,
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: after it rains and stuff. And it's just a hotbed
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: for diseases, you know, pithium red spread dollar spots, um,
- 1:16:08Speaker 6: stuff like that to take over. So, interesting side programs
- 1:16:12Speaker 6: yep uh and then just uh you know a lot
- 1:16:14Speaker 6: more watering um irrigation programs set up um stuff like that.
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: Yeah yeah a couple this is a two-parter phil first
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: first one's a little uh i think i know the
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: answer to this but you're talking about current events in
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: in grass and stadiums are you just like watching sporting
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: events with a hard dick just staring at the grass
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: like oh look what they're fucking.
- 1:16:36Speaker 7: Doing first thing i look at You never watch it
- 1:16:40Speaker 7: the same, man.
- 1:16:41Speaker 6: First TV comes on, and I'm like, we're looking at
- 1:16:44Speaker 6: the field and talking about it amongst old buddies and stuff,
- 1:16:47Speaker 6: and you're wondering what happened.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: You know what?
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: That's kind of a thankless job, too, because people probably
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: don't text you and be like, wow, grass looks good today.
- 1:16:55Speaker 5: But people probably text you when Boswell slips and misses
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: a field goal.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: Oh, 100%. Yeah.
- 1:17:02Speaker 7: Field looks like shit, you know. We know Pitt played
- 1:17:04Speaker 7: in the rain last night, but what the fuck, you know.
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: And Phil, this is a question more about the trajectory
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: of the NFL. You see a lot of players bitching
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: about just turf, right? And artificial turf, not grass. Can
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: you explain briefly kind of the differences for someone who
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: hasn't played, you know, professional sports on what the turf
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: might be from the grass and where do you see
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: this going in the future? Do you see all the
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: stadiums go into grass?
- 1:17:34Speaker 7: Yeah, it's a huge topic right now because of the
- 1:17:36Speaker 7: World Cup, right?
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: So the NFL players have been begging for this, and
- 1:17:39Speaker 6: then FIFA came in and just put it right under
- 1:17:41Speaker 6: their nose, especially stadiums indoors like Arlington in Texas, at
- 1:17:47Speaker 6: Jerry's World, SoFi.
- 1:17:49Speaker 7: We saw it in Atlanta, too.
- 1:17:51Speaker 6: FIFA required the game be played on grass, so these
- 1:17:54Speaker 6: stadiums had the challenge of trying to figure out how
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: do we get natural grass indoors right now. A lot
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: of them have retractable roofs and stuff to help with
- 1:18:01Speaker 6: natural sunlight and airflow and everything but they really revamped
- 1:18:04Speaker 6: these stadiums to be able to accommodate um a turf
- 1:18:08Speaker 6: field for not only just one game but uh months
- 1:18:11Speaker 6: of you know how long the world cup lasted so
- 1:18:13Speaker 6: the players you know were sitting there watching um you
- 1:18:16Speaker 6: know messy run around in texas thinking why can't we
- 1:18:19Speaker 6: have the same thing so yeah i will say this
- 1:18:22Speaker 6: it is 100 possible to have a turf in every
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: stadium indoor or out um however It's not really as
- 1:18:29Speaker 6: practical as people think. Obviously, the money's there with the
- 1:18:33Speaker 6: league and these stadiums and stuff, but the amount of
- 1:18:36Speaker 6: events in and out of these places and concerts, and
- 1:18:39Speaker 6: they're just packing more and more into these stadiums. It's
- 1:18:41Speaker 6: really not practical, which is why you see teams like
- 1:18:45Speaker 6: you know the cardinals and raiders you know rolling the
- 1:18:48Speaker 6: fields outside um you know and a lot of these
- 1:18:51Speaker 6: teams sticking with turf because um not only do they
- 1:18:54Speaker 6: have concerts and stuff but a lot of them like
- 1:18:56Speaker 6: New England's a great, New England and Seattle.
- 1:18:58Speaker 7: Are great examples, right?
- 1:18:59Speaker 6: They're outdoor facilities with natural or synthetic turf. And a
- 1:19:03Speaker 6: big reason of that is the soccer teams that play there.
- 1:19:07Speaker 6: And then if you're pushing for that ball roll on
- 1:19:09Speaker 6: the synthetic turf and, and most, you know, managing multi, multi.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: It's almost like closer to like a golf course than
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: a football field.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:19Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Soccer fields.
- 1:19:20Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:19:21Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:19:22Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:19:22Speaker 6: It's a little different. They were talking about the world cup.
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: The footing is a little different. It doesn't hold up
- 1:19:27Speaker 6: as well to, well, put it this way. You got,
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: you know, five, 10, 150 pound guys running around and
- 1:19:33Speaker 6: then you got, you know, Kim Hayward.
- 1:19:34Speaker 7: Cutting out there. So different types of athletes, right?
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely. And I mean, Jalen Warren, we saw it
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago, that blowout he had on
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: the touchdown run. What, how does that happen? Is there
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: a scientific reason? for a blowout like that where the
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: grass just blows up on you it looks like he stepped.
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: On a landmine yeah he could have caught like a
- 1:19:55Speaker 6: seam right on the the head i'd have to go
- 1:19:58Speaker 6: back and look at it again um what happens is
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: you'll notice now more with the bermuda the kentucky blue
- 1:20:03Speaker 6: just kind of would blow out in chunks um if
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: you pay attention now like you'll turn on the game
- 1:20:09Speaker 6: and heinz will have some wear between the hashes right
- 1:20:11Speaker 6: and it looks brown and you're like man it doesn't
- 1:20:13Speaker 6: look aesthetically great, but those Brown marks on the Bermuda now,
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: excuse me, are more like a, um, more like a scuff,
- 1:20:20Speaker 6: like a, a scuff divot on a golf course fairway.
- 1:20:22Speaker 6: Cause the Bermuda's mode so much lower that, um, You know,
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: it's the fields holding together underneath in the root zone,
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: but it's scuffing off the top, which is good. So
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: even though it's not aesthetically pleasing, it's still playing good.
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: And like turf managers would take that every day of
- 1:20:38Speaker 6: the week. You know, the players don't care how it looks,
- 1:20:41Speaker 6: but if they walk off the field afterwards, like, man,
- 1:20:43Speaker 6: that played so well.
- 1:20:45Speaker 7: They're fine with that.
- 1:20:46Speaker 6: So as far as the Warren thing went, sometimes, you know,
- 1:20:49Speaker 6: we lay those rules aside. They're four feet wide by
- 1:20:52Speaker 6: 30 feet long. And there's, you know, eight hundred and
- 1:20:55Speaker 6: fifty plus rolls on that field. So if you caught
- 1:20:58Speaker 6: a seam on perfectly on a corner or one of
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: those four feet and it hadn't rooted together yet, that's
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: that's a good chance.
- 1:21:05Speaker 7: Something like that happened.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: How long does it take for that to root together?
- 1:21:10Speaker 7: It depends on the time of year, if you're in
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: the growing season.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: The way I'm thinking of it is like they change
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the grass so often too. So does it really get
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: time to root together or do they have to change
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: it before?
- 1:21:23Speaker 7: No, you're right on.
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: Like I alluded to Philly earlier and they played on
- 1:21:26Speaker 6: it three, four days later. Um, so the, the challenge
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: is yes, getting it to root, but they bring it
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: in so thick that at an inch and three quarters
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: that it's ready to play on. And they just try
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: to pack those seams as tight as they can. And,
- 1:21:40Speaker 6: you know, it won't root, um, you know, right now
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: this time of year or going into the winter, especially.
- 1:21:46Speaker 7: So they just got to hope it's packed tight enough. And, um,
- 1:21:49Speaker 7: they can grow it.
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: In maybe over the summer, but you're right when you're
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: sodding so much.
- 1:21:58Speaker 7: Yeah, there's a lot of seams.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: Go ahead, Pat.
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: Yeah, one last question for you, Phil. I think this
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: is what every Steelers fan wants to know right now.
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: Hit game on Saturday, obviously against North Carolina. Supposed to
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: be decent weather for that game. No rain expected until
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: potentially around midnight on Sunday, and then it looks like
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: there's 70, 75% chance of rain throughout the Steeler game.
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: Give us your prediction of how this turf is going
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: to look on Sunday for the Steelers.
- 1:22:31Speaker 6: Yeah, the first thing my mind goes to with that
- 1:22:33Speaker 6: rain in the forecast is the paint.
- 1:22:36Speaker 7: Do you know what time is pit? I'm assuming they're early.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: It's at noon.
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: They're at noon, which is good. So yeah, you got
- 1:22:41Speaker 6: about 24 minus game time, 20 hour turnaround, probably until
- 1:22:46Speaker 6: Steelers one o'clock.
- 1:22:48Speaker 7: You know, not a whole lot.
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: There'll be some patching that happens, especially between the hashes
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: and stuff, but that field undergoes an entire paint job
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: on the border, every hash mark, end zones, logos, numbers,
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: all that. So, you know, the challenge, they'll probably try
- 1:23:03Speaker 6: and get that thing painted right away. So it has
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: somewhat time to dry. You know, if you have rain
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: through the night, it could take up to, you know,
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: depending on how many guys you have six to eight
- 1:23:13Speaker 6: hours to paint a full field. So that's where my
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: eyes would be to see if it dries. If you
- 1:23:17Speaker 6: start seeing paint on uniforms, uh, Sunday at the Steelers, it's,
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: it's probably cause they got some rain overnight.
- 1:23:23Speaker 7: Didn't have time to dry.
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: Oh, I never even thought about that.
- 1:23:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:23:29Speaker 7: I expected to, um, I expected to probably be in
- 1:23:31Speaker 7: pretty good shape. They had a week off. Um, So
- 1:23:34Speaker 7: both teams were away, I believe, last week.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Well, now when I see a whole bunch of– because
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: I think you see it in college most, paint on uniforms.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Now every time I see the paint on the uniforms,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: I guess I never would have thought that it's just
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: wet paint.
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: Yeah, it's not always wet paint, but that's normally the case.
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: Sometimes you just get a guy who slides across the
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: center logo on, you know, QB grown or whatever, and
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: it just comes up on the unis.
- 1:23:56Speaker 7: But, yeah, the equipment managers love that.
- 1:23:59Speaker 6: We had a– we were dying the field green at–
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: Penn state for the college baseball team late in the year.
- 1:24:06Speaker 6: And the, the managers, I mean, the balls were covered
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: in green, the white pants were green.
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: It's definitely a thing.
- 1:24:13Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:24:15Speaker 5: One final question, Phil, dude, you got one.
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: So how do you get the pit paint colors off
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: of the field?
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: It gets painted over.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: That's interesting.
- 1:24:24Speaker 7: A couple of different ways.
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: So good question.
- 1:24:28Speaker 7: Great question.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: So the question is, If you notice and pay attention
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: to the Steelers have just the most boring paint job
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: in the league, right?
- 1:24:36Speaker 7: And it's because of the two teams playing there.
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: They don't throw the Steelers in the other end zone
- 1:24:41Speaker 6: until Pitt's done playing.
- 1:24:42Speaker 7: They leave those, you know, Notre Dame hashes down there
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: or whatever the hell those are.
- 1:24:48Speaker 6: So the Pittsburgh Steelers, will be painted in the blue
- 1:24:50Speaker 6: and gold in the uh the north end zone um
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: for the pit game and then it'll get painted over
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: in a black border with the steelers gold um over
- 1:25:00Speaker 6: top of it and then the center logo normally if
- 1:25:03Speaker 6: pit um they'll sometimes cut out the center logo just
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: the center square and re-sod it for a pit game
- 1:25:08Speaker 6: so they don't have that white so you've seen in
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: the past the white circle around the pit.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: Yeah the white so that's what it was that white
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: circle was really the like a pre-marked for the Steelers logo?
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:25:20Speaker 7: Interesting.
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: It's either covering up the hypercycloids from the week before
- 1:25:25Speaker 6: that's still showing through, or they're prepping for the next
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: day kind of thing. It's the same size and everything,
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: and they'll just paint over the pit with white again
- 1:25:34Speaker 6: and drop the Steelers right on top of there. And
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: then the yard lines and numbers and all that get retraced.
- 1:25:40Speaker 6: But obviously they have to paint a separate set of hashes, right,
- 1:25:42Speaker 6: because of the different sizes. And then the numbers on
- 1:25:45Speaker 6: NFL fields– are in way tighter than there's a deal
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: around NFL numbers are out way wider. So you'll see
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: on the pit field Saturday, they'll leave those same numbers
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: in the NFL slot on the outside of the field.
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: And then they'll have like two hash marks where the
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: college numbers would be tighter to the hashes. So that's
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: another telltale sign.
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: Do they, do they try to paint over the old
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: hashes or just let them kind of dissolve on the road?
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: When the grass is growing a ton, like early in
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: the year, they can kind of mow them out if
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: you have a week or two. But in the case
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: of a back to back like this, you're going to
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: see them kind of faint on Sunday. But they take
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: like a green dye and they'll try and dye them.
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: Out a little bit.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: So they'll just paint them green.
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:26:28Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: It's still the best they can.
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: You'll see it someday. But they try to hide them
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: the best they can. But Steelers, you know, Philly, Temple, Eagles,
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: kind of same thing. You'll see two sets of hashes
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: out there for those games.
- 1:26:41Speaker 16: Right.
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: I guess I never would have considered how much paint
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: goes into that.
- 1:26:44Speaker 7: A lot of paint.
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: I don't remember how many gallons, but it's at least,
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: I think it was 10 to 15 five-gallon buckets of
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: just different colors and stuff. Think about the Steelers logo.
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: There's gray, white, black, red, blue, and yellow. So there's
- 1:26:59Speaker 6: five or six colors.
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: 10 to 15 five-gallon buckets.
- 1:27:02Speaker 7: Yeah. By the time you do that white border the
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: whole way around the outside.
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: That might be the most colors on a logo in
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: the league. I mean, think about it.
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: You got some of the ones like the Rams, right?
- 1:27:13Speaker 6: They got that like three toned yellow, like Ram, like
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: 3d looking Ram. And it's like three shades of yellow.
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: If you look at the Superbowl logos that they put
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: on the 25s every year, there's like, there's 40 different
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: colors of paint and like the gold.
- 1:27:27Speaker 7: The golden gate bridge and the palm tree and the
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: L L I exit.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: So the gradient on it.
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: That's, that's pretty interesting.
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: Kind of like art.
- 1:27:38Speaker 3: It looks like it's like a lot of freehand. Is
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: that true?
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: Like, yeah, they normally will stencil it on just to
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: get it lined up and straight, but then filling it
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: in and stuff is pretty freehand, you know, inside the lines.
- 1:27:49Speaker 7: Like we would stencil the.
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: Three hyper cycloids and the letters Pittsburgh, and then we'd
- 1:27:53Speaker 6: freehand fill it in, but.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: Freehand still with the brush or they use a, or,
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: or not a brush spray gun.
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:28:02Speaker 7: Like a Sherwin Williams spray gun, like a gray coat painter.
- 1:28:05Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:28:06Speaker 7: Those are popular.
- 1:28:07Speaker 5: I'm a Titan guy. I'm a Titan guy.
- 1:28:09Speaker 7: Yeah, Titan, same thing. Guys are getting creative with, like,
- 1:28:13Speaker 7: when it's windy, dude, you get all the overspray, right? Right.
- 1:28:16Speaker 7: So they're getting, like, shields on the painters and stuff.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: Those guys are artists.
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: So Heinz has, obviously, there's, like, pins on the warning
- 1:28:25Speaker 6: track below the goal posts, and there's the NFL hashes,
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: there's the college, and then there's high school ones for Whippeals.
- 1:28:30Speaker 6: And you run a string. from those pins, end zone
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: to end zone, 120 yards long. And one week, me
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: and my buddy Billy were painting, and we ran strings
- 1:28:41Speaker 6: and we never even looked up at the goal post
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: or anything and we ran one we ran one NFL
- 1:28:46Speaker 6: hash and we ran one like collegiate hash they were.
- 1:28:51Speaker 7: Skewed and we got like 20 yards in and he.
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: Was like fuck dude.
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: And we got like bush brooms and fire hoses this
- 1:29:00Speaker 6: is like a day before nfl game we're out there
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: just scrubbing the.
- 1:29:04Speaker 7: Shit out of the field trying to get it to
- 1:29:05Speaker 7: wash off it's unreal.
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: Well phil thanks for coming on you know you are

- 1:32:14Speaker 10: Hello?
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: Ring, ring.
- 1:32:16Speaker 10: Hello?
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: Ring, ring.
- 1:32:20Speaker 10: You have a bad connection.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: Thanks for sticking with us, Tarpsoft listeners. And thanks to
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: Big Phil, the grass expert, for coming on and educating.
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: I hope everyone thought that was, you know, as fun
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: as I did. I was sitting here, Pat, listening to him,
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: and I felt like I was... watching a documentary on grass.
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: That was awesome.
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: Yeah. What a great conversation. I hope, hope you all
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: enjoyed it.
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: I was on mute.
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: My apologies. Great conversation.
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: Shout out Phil. Phil knows his stuff. We didn't get
- 1:32:53Speaker 3: to talk about it. We got a little short on time,
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: but Phil's got a beautiful vintage.
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: He said 80 years old.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: Now this, this John Deere turned 80 in May. Yup.
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: Hanging out at his garage.
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: Oh, it's nice, dude.
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: See, maybe we'll post a picture of it, huh?
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: You want to do that?
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: Ask for a picture. We'll post it.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: And John Deere Green on a hot summer night saying
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: Billy Bob loves Charlie.
- 1:33:24Speaker 3: Yeah, Doobie?
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. You know who would love his tractor, I'm sure,
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: is Big Uncle Doob.
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: Oh, yeah?
- 1:33:36Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: He loves tractors. Oh, he would love this one. This
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: is one of them tracks you can work on.
- 1:33:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a good tractor, man. It's a good tractor.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: It's a good tractor. Yeah, I'll see if I can
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: get a picture. But let's hear from you. We got
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: a couple of voicemails this week. First one is from
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: Fabio on the Mount. And I apologize, Fabio. I don't
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: have it pulled up right now. Let me. Fabio on
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: the Mount. Fabio on the Mount. Fabio on the Mount.
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: All right, let's hear from Fabio on the Mount.
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: It's RPL Podcast. Five minutes out of here.
- 1:34:14Speaker 7: Brutal.
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: Brutal, brutal loss.
- 1:34:20Speaker 12: Rob's had our number at home for I don't even
- 1:34:23Speaker 12: know how long.
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: There's a lot of things I can complain about.
- 1:34:27Speaker 12: I'm sure you guys have complained about them already.
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: To me, the biggest thing is that there's.
- 1:34:33Speaker 12: Just these things that just linger. It seems like we
- 1:34:35Speaker 12: haven't gotten over them for years. Just little things we
- 1:34:38Speaker 12: can't tackle. Why receivers can't get separation. We have rocked
- 1:34:44Speaker 12: from the top down, from the owner down. It shows
- 1:34:48Speaker 12: in every facet of our game.
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: We think we have.
- 1:34:51Speaker 12: These things figured out, but in reality, it's just a
- 1:34:53Speaker 12: band-aid over a goddamn meteor strike.
- 1:34:57Speaker 2: I don't know how to figure it out. I don't
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: know how to fix it.
- 1:35:00Speaker 7: I don't think anyone out there knows how to fix it.
- 1:35:03Speaker 12: And I don't think we'll ever be.
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: A surely good football team until it is fixed.
- 1:35:07Speaker 7: You know, I'm not going to gloom and doom.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: You know, we can still make some things shake.
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: But, you know, I have nothing to see so far
- 1:35:14Speaker 2: this year that has sold me yet. That's a little disappointing.
- 1:35:20Speaker 2: Looking forward to hearing what you guys got to say.
- 1:35:22Speaker 12: See you in the down there for the Colts game
- 1:35:24Speaker 12: this Sunday.
- 1:35:25Speaker 7: Big fan.
- 1:35:26Speaker 2: Not going no ways. Last but not least.
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: Go Steelers. Let me ask you this. Is it a
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: culture problem? Is it a player-leader problem? If Cam Hayward
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: and TJ Watt don't win a playoff game in the
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: next few years, do they go down in Steelers history
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: as overrated?
- 1:35:53Speaker 3: They look like the only two people on that defense
- 1:35:56Speaker 3: who actually gave a fuck on Thursday.
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: But at what point Is that not enough?
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: You and I look at this differently, McGingy.
- 1:36:08Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: I just don't see how you can be compared to
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: the likes of James Harrison and Troy Polamalu and Aaron
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: Smith and Lawrence Timmons, Lamar Woodley, Larry Foote, James Farrier,
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: Brett Kiesel. Ike Taylor, Willie– like, I don't know how
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: you can be compared amongst those teams.
- 1:36:37Speaker 3: I mean, we're not talking teams, though. I mean, we're
- 1:36:40Speaker 3: talking two great leaders.
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: As far as I'm concerned, postseason success is all that matters.
- 1:36:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I disagree. I mean, I agree that
- 1:36:51Speaker 3: it's all that matters in a franchise, but when you're
- 1:36:53Speaker 3: talking about– I don't know how.
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: You can be looked at as a legend and one
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: of the best Steelers of all time. is if this
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: is what your legacy is. That's all I'm saying. Yeah.
- 1:37:03Speaker 3: I mean, maybe greatest, right? I define best and greatest differently.
- 1:37:07Speaker 3: Maybe that's just me being cunty about my word choices.
- 1:37:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: Don't get cunty with me. I'm, I'm way too enthused
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: with grass right now, man.
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: No, like TJ watt is the best. He's an all
- 1:37:20Speaker 3: time Steelers outside linebacker, right? If you, if you say
- 1:37:25Speaker 3: he's one of the best he is, but, If you
- 1:37:27Speaker 3: want to talk about greatness, I think that is more
- 1:37:30Speaker 3: your conversation about how can you define someone's greatness if
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: you never won a playoff game.
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: Yeah. That's exactly what I'm saying. And when you see
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: the same mistakes over a couple of different coaching regimes,
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: it makes you wonder.
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: That was something, too. Good call, Fabi. We didn't really
- 1:37:51Speaker 3: touch on, maybe perhaps not enough, the lack of tackling.
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: Horrible.
- 1:37:57Speaker 7: Horrible.
- 1:37:57Speaker 3: I mean, that was the defense's biggest problem was missed tackles.
- 1:38:00Speaker 3: I think it was what, I don't know if you
- 1:38:01Speaker 3: said that, was it 15 missed tackles on the day?
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: I didn't, I didn't say it, but yeah, I like that.
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: That sounds about right.
- 1:38:07Speaker 3: Just like you said as well, nobody getting open. I mean,
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: Rogers didn't play great. He wasn't seeing guys that were open, right?
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: DK Metcalf got open a couple of times, most, most obviously,
- 1:38:18Speaker 3: but just on those, you know, three, four second sacks
- 1:38:21Speaker 3: where Rogers was just not move around in the pocket,
- 1:38:24Speaker 3: nobody was getting open either.
- 1:38:26Speaker 7: So.
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: I don't agree more.
- 1:38:29Speaker 5: Thanks for the call, Fabi. Let's kick it to Simon
- 1:38:33Speaker 5: from up on Mount Washington.
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: This is Simon from Mount Wash. How are you guys doing?
- 1:38:42Speaker 9: Just going to skip over the Steelers game and talk
- 1:38:46Speaker 9: strictly about Jim Broney's dungeon. Charcuterie is real and smelling
- 1:38:52Speaker 9: salts are back.
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:38:56Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 1:38:58Speaker 3: You know what's funny is we were huffing down the
- 1:39:00Speaker 3: smelling salts in Jim Broney's basement on Friday.
- 1:39:04Speaker 20: And then I go to this wedding on Saturday and
- 1:39:07Speaker 20: somebody at my table just pulled out a jar of
- 1:39:10Speaker 20: smelling salts.
- 1:39:15Speaker 5: Did Jim Broney have the jars? He got the ones
- 1:39:17Speaker 5: you crack and pop.
- 1:39:19Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: I'm not going to tell you. You weren't there.
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: He's got the jar, dude. I'm pretty sure they stopped
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: making those ones that you crack and pop. Jim Broney
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: used to have those back in the day, man.
- 1:39:31Speaker 3: No, these were a mutual friend left his refills of
- 1:39:37Speaker 3: the jarred smooth. Yeah.
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: Figured that's what it was. Not as strong as the pouches.
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: Jim Broney would be the first one to tell you.
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: The pouches are missed.
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: I found.
- 1:39:48Speaker 3: I searched for the pouches on Amazon and it was
- 1:39:52Speaker 3: like one out of a hundred, but I did find
- 1:39:55Speaker 3: some of the pouches.
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: I put them in my cart.
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: No way.
- 1:39:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: How much?
- 1:40:01Speaker 2: It's not a bad price either.
- 1:40:02Speaker 3: It's like $ 21 for 20 of them.
- 1:40:07Speaker 1: That's not a bad deal at all, dude.
- 1:40:09Speaker 3: Oh, here we go.
- 1:40:10Speaker 7: 50.
- 1:40:10Speaker 3: This is a whole other one.
- 1:40:11Speaker 13: Wow.
- 1:40:12Speaker 2: They must've been listening. Ammonia ampoules.
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: Ammonia ampoules count $ 52.
- 1:40:20Speaker 20: Yeah.
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: I'm looking at it, dude. Yeah. It's not a bad idea, dude. That's,
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: that's what you need. The ammonia ampoules, dude. Oh yeah. Yeah.
- 1:40:32Speaker 1: 50 count $ 52. This is not an ad. That would
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: be pretty cool to get an ad from the smelling
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: salt company though. Maybe we should see if, um, Rick
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: Durano does smelling salts.
- 1:40:44Speaker 3: He probably snorts them with his dick.
- 1:40:50Speaker 5: That was all the callers we got you got to
- 1:40:52Speaker 5: answer the week this.
- 1:40:52Speaker 3: Week yeah i do and i'm sorry i i've been
- 1:40:57Speaker 3: kind of distracted this episode because i've been searching on
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: instagram for the guy's actual handle because i want to
- 1:41:03Speaker 3: give him credit and not this fucking loser account who
- 1:41:06Speaker 3: just reposted this video from him do you know the

- 1:41:16Speaker 3: shirt off and he'll just do like he's got hundreds
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: and probably thousands of videos where he's like.
- 1:41:22Speaker 17: Let's go university of pittsburgh panthers let's go university of pittsburgh.
- 1:41:27Speaker 3: Panthers and he'll just go through like every college and
- 1:41:31Speaker 3: high school and football team and soccer team in the
- 1:41:34Speaker 3: world yeah i don't know this guy you know this
- 1:41:38Speaker 3: guy i'll send you i'll send him I'm trying to
- 1:41:41Speaker 3: find his actual handle, but I can't. There's nothing I
- 1:41:45Speaker 3: could Google that could pull it up. But he landed
- 1:41:50Speaker 3: on the Penguins out of chance. I mean, it's thousands.
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: He did Mount Lebanon High School, Plum High School, Turkmenistan
- 1:41:58Speaker 3: School for Young Terrorists. I mean, he's done it all.
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: Let's go Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team!
- 1:42:26Speaker 3: He does it for every school, every team. And then
- 1:42:31Speaker 3: when you finally like you follow him and you see
- 1:42:34Speaker 3: that it's finally like your, you know, college or your team.
- 1:42:37Speaker 3: And it's like, hell yeah.
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: This is his account.
- 1:42:42Speaker 3: No, that's what I'm saying. This is like just some
- 1:42:44Speaker 3: Pittsburgh sports account.
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: Are we sure that that's not AI?
- 1:42:49Speaker 3: This is real. I used to follow this guy, but
- 1:42:51Speaker 3: I guess I don't anymore. I've tried to find him.
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: Maybe he's banned. Maybe he's banned.
- 1:42:57Speaker 3: And I, yeah, there's nothing I could Google. I Googled like, okay.
- 1:43:00Speaker 3: I reverse image searched it.
- 1:43:02Speaker 2: Nothing. So yeah, we'll call him. We'll call him.
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: Let's go guy.
- 1:43:11Speaker 2: Yeah. We'll call him.
- 1:43:11Speaker 3: Let's go guy.

- 1:43:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:43:21Speaker 3: We'll get it out. We'll send it out. We'll do
- 1:43:23Speaker 3: some research. I've literally been looking for the last half hour.
- 1:43:28Speaker 1: All right, Timmy.
- 1:43:32Speaker 2: Pat, is that guy even like a Pittsburgher? Like, how's
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: he the Ginzer of the week?
- 1:43:36Speaker 17: Let's go, Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team. Let's go, Pittsburgh Penguins
- 1:43:40Speaker 17: hockey team. Let's go, Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team.
- 1:43:45Speaker 3: I was kind of confused.
- 1:43:46Speaker 2: You're talking about Turkmenistan. I'm like, what the fuck?
- 1:43:50Speaker 3: He's done some crazy ones, too.
- 1:43:52Speaker 17: Let's go, West Hampshire School for the Blind. Let's go,
- 1:43:56Speaker 17: West Hampshire School for the Blind.
- 1:43:58Speaker 2: Is he from Pittsburgh?
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: That's crazy, dude.
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: No, he's not. I don't know where he's from.
- 1:44:02Speaker 2: Oh, okay, okay.
- 1:44:04Speaker 3: Turkmenistan.
- 1:44:06Speaker 2: Anyway. So, last week, I'm already over this fucking question
- 1:44:11Speaker 2: after the game on Thursday because it's Browns related.
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: Just give the answer.
- 1:44:15Speaker 2: Yeah, the answer was Dwayne Washington.
- 1:44:18Speaker 10: Nice.
- 1:44:20Speaker 2: Yeah, we're moving on to this week. This week... We
- 1:44:26Speaker 2: do have a Colts question, so hopefully we win, and
- 1:44:28Speaker 2: it's a fun answer next week. So, in 2002, our
- 1:44:32Speaker 2: regular season meeting at Heinz Field, the Colts were overwhelmed
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: early when a Steelers defender jumped a Peyton Manning pass
- 1:44:39Speaker 2: and took it to the house, igniting a blowout. Do
- 1:44:43Speaker 2: you guys know which Steeler opened the floodgates with that
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: pick six that sent Indianapolis into a spiral? 2002?
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: I don't have a clue. No clue.
- 1:44:52Speaker 7: 2002, yep.
- 1:44:52Speaker 2: 2002.
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: No. No idea. Those are the dark years in Steeler
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: history for me. We'll find out next week. Yeah, if
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: anyone knows the answer, let us know. Pat, what a
- 1:45:12Speaker 1: great pump-up speech last week, must I say. I'm excited
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: to listen to this week's.
- 1:45:18Speaker 3: Yeah, you're going to like this week's.
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: Am I?
- 1:45:20Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: I really liked last week's.
- 1:45:22Speaker 5: Am I going to like this week's too?
- 1:45:23Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:45:24Speaker 3: This week, you're going to feel different about this week.
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: Different how?
- 1:45:30Speaker 3: You'll see. I stuck something in there.
- 1:45:36Speaker 13: Oh, God.
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: Don't forget to follow us at tarpsoftmcgingi, at tarpsoftpat, at tarpsoftdube,
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: at tarpsoftradio, on X, the everything app. Check for my
- 1:45:48Speaker 1: hot lead on Friday. I will be tweeting it out.
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: I promise a winner this week. I promise a winner
- 1:45:55Speaker 1: for the listeners. The greatest, sexiest listeners in the world.
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: All right, Pat, take it away.
- 1:46:05Speaker 2: Steelers football.
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: Week five.
- 1:46:09Speaker 16: Another year, another ass kicking on Thursday night football.
- 1:46:13Speaker 3: To the Cleveland Browns.
- 1:46:15Speaker 16: If Pitt didn't pull out the win against James Franklin,
- 1:46:18Speaker 16: you would have found me with rocks in my socks
- 1:46:20Speaker 16: at the bottom of the alligator. But there's a reason
- 1:46:23Speaker 16: God put horses assholes on the back of their bodies.
- 1:46:27Speaker 16: So that we can keep moving forward and leave that
- 1:46:29Speaker 16: horse shit behind us.
- 1:46:31Speaker 2: Speaking of horse shit. Let's move on to the Indianapolis Colts.
- 1:46:36Speaker 2: For starters.
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: Indianapolis? What a racist name for a city.
- 1:46:41Speaker 2: I'm starting to petition.
- 1:46:43Speaker 1: To rename that city Guardianapolis.
- 1:46:45Speaker 14: Speaking of haunted Native American burial grounds, Hinesfield must have
- 1:46:50Speaker 14: been built over the grave of Daniel Jones' ancestors because
- 1:46:54Speaker 14: he was seeing ghosts last year at Hinesfield. The Steelers
- 1:46:59Speaker 14: turned what was the best offensive in the league into
- 1:47:02Speaker 14: a turnover machine.
- 1:47:04Speaker 13: Daniel Jones pissed so much blood during that game that
- 1:47:08Speaker 13: the blue on his pants turned purple. But like my
- 1:47:12Speaker 13: horse's ass analogy from earlier, that shit's in the past.
- 1:47:17Speaker 11: So let's attack this team on Sunday. Let's send Blue
- 1:47:21Speaker 11: to the glue factory. I want Seth the Flows to
- 1:47:25Speaker 11: cry so much his mascara starts to run.
- 1:47:29Speaker 10: I'm not just Peyton Manning. I'm Master Peyton Manning.
- 1:47:33Speaker 11: And I want to have so many scorgasms on Sunday
- 1:47:36Speaker 11: that sauce runs.
- 1:47:38Speaker 10: Down my gardener.
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: Because when that steam.
- 1:47:42Speaker 11: Whistle blows, we will expose Daniel Jones for the con
- 1:47:47Speaker 11: artist he is.
- 1:47:48Speaker 16: He stole over 100 mil from the Giants, and now
- 1:47:51Speaker 16: he's going to do the same for the Colts. I
- 1:47:54Speaker 16: want Jonathan Taylor Fantasy Owners to be on life support
- 1:47:57Speaker 16: on Sunday.
- 1:47:58Speaker 11: I want to beat the horse piss out of this
- 1:48:01Speaker 11: team and send them back to the big pony club
- 1:48:04Speaker 11: with their tails between their balls.
- 1:48:07Speaker 10: I'm not even making sense anymore. And I don't give
- 1:48:10Speaker 10: a fuck.
- 1:48:12Speaker 4: Oh, Pat's angry.
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: This is dealer football, baby.
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: Here we go. go.
