- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Seacrest. On air, on air, on.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 2: All right, Kiss FM. Oh, it's Friday.
- 0:12Speaker 1: We made it.
- 0:15Speaker 2: But is that the right way to look at it?
- 0:17Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, we made it.
- 0:20Speaker 1: We made it to the end of the week.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:22Speaker 1: And this heat.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I know, but is it the right, is it the
- 0:25Speaker 2: healthy way to look at it? It's just like, are
- 0:29Speaker 2: you ever angry at somebody? You ever hold resentment? Is
- 0:32Speaker 2: that the right way to handle it? No, it's not.
- 0:33Speaker 2: That's just bad on you. Just creates bad chemicals for
- 0:36Speaker 2: you inside your body. I think the same thing. And
- 0:38Speaker 2: I'm guilty of it. I race to the end and
- 0:40Speaker 2: want to look forward to the end and all that stuff.
- 0:43Speaker 2: But we got to reframe it, Sisney. We can't come
- 0:45Speaker 2: in here every week wanting it to be today.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I don't come in.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Monday wanting it to be Friday. But once Thursday hits,
- 0:52Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, I'm ready for the weekend.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Well, I definitely come in Tuesday wishing it weren't.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Yeah, you do.
- 0:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:58Speaker 1: So you've got to change the way you think, too.
- 1:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01Speaker 2: That's why I'm voicing all this. This is a collective conversation.
- 1:04Speaker 5: Yeah, okay.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I'm not pointing any fingers.
- 1:05Speaker 7: That's why Mondays are so wonderful because it starts the.
- 1:11Speaker 6: Week, fresh start, new beginning.
- 1:13Speaker 1: I don't hate a Monday.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Why?
- 1:15Speaker 6: I love a Monday.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I don't love it either, but I don't hate it.
- 1:18Speaker 1: And it's just, you know, let's just deal with it.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I really love a Monday.
- 1:21Speaker 6: I love, love a Monday.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I think you're being polyester on this one. Yeah, total polyester.
- 1:28Speaker 7: That is not totally true. Why would I be polyestering that?
- 1:31Speaker 7: What do I have to gain by loving Monday?
- 1:34Speaker 1: Nothing. Pride because you just are owning it so much.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and you've said it for so many years.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:38Speaker 2: You can't go back on it. You're doubling down.
- 1:40Speaker 6: It's like the first of the month, you know?
- 1:42Speaker 2: I'm going to call you Sunday night and get your
- 1:45Speaker 2: real answer.
- 1:45Speaker 6: Cute. Actually, that reminds me. We need to make plans.
- 1:52Speaker 1: We like who?
- 1:53Speaker 6: Me, you, you?
- 1:54Speaker 5: Us? We?
- 1:56Speaker 2: What do you want to do?
- 1:57Speaker 6: Like something cute. Maybe a cute dinner, a little happy hour.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm down.
- 2:04Speaker 2: How about yoga together?
- 2:05Speaker 1: I would love it.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Okay. Tanya's recommending yoga teachers to me.
- 2:09Speaker 5: Okay.
- 2:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Are you going to use both? She sent me a
- 2:12Speaker 2: list of contacts. I'm going to try them both. I
- 2:15Speaker 2: got to find one that stretches well. I don't want intense.
- 2:18Speaker 6: That's what they do.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I don't like intense either when people are standing on
- 2:22Speaker 1: their heads.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I want this to open me up. Exactly. I don't
- 2:26Speaker 2: need to prove any strength. I just want to open
- 2:28Speaker 2: up my hip. Totally. I know. Stretch me out.
- 2:30Speaker 1: People start balancing on one arm. I'm like, oh gosh.
- 2:34Speaker 8: Right?
- 2:34Speaker 2: I can't do, I'm not doing Cirque.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'm so intimidated.
- 2:38Speaker 6: Excuse me.
- 2:40Speaker 2: But Tanya, I like, I think we can put something together.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I've got free gas in the meantime today in Wilmington.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Also Raging Waters tickets, Dodger tickets. The Heat. 90s and
- 2:49Speaker 2: low hundies.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah. After this weekend, I think next week looks a
- 2:54Speaker 1: lot better.
- 2:55Speaker 7: So, yay.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Is this it?
- 2:57Speaker 2: Is it going to be the last painful heat one?
- 2:59Speaker 1: No, I doubt it.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Oh.
- 3:00Speaker 4: September and October always give us some good chunks of
- 3:03Speaker 4: heat waves.
- 3:04Speaker 6: I know, but then it's Halloween and Christmas.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Happy Friday. There comes a moment each week where you
- 3:09Speaker 2: think to yourself, gosh, if I could just do it naked, right? Always.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Those activities can be yard work or dishes, cooking or painting.
- 3:18Speaker 2: It just depends. Could I just do it naked? How freeing. Like,
- 3:22Speaker 2: what is it that you do naked most often?
- 3:25Speaker 8: Shower?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Sleep? Make the bed. You make the bed naked.
- 3:30Speaker 8: I don't.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I first, I put on something when I get up
- 3:32Speaker 2: because I'm usually cold. Because I sleep in a refrigerator. Wow.
- 3:39Speaker 2: And Cicely, she's Well, what are you doing now?
- 3:43Speaker 1: I'm going to a birthday party tomorrow night.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I thought you were painting at this party.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Well, yes, it is a painting party. When I was
- 3:52Speaker 4: talking about this off air, I didn't know we were
- 3:54Speaker 4: going to go on air with this.
- 3:55Speaker 2: How can you share that you're going to a naked
- 3:57Speaker 2: painting party and us not bring that up? You're a
- 3:59Speaker 2: grown adult. This is something we need to address.
- 4:01Speaker 4: I'm a grown adult and it's not my first one.
- 4:03Speaker 1: So I feel as if.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Can you please explain a naked painting party?
- 4:07Speaker 4: So the models will be naked men and we will
- 4:12Speaker 4: paint them.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I have done this before.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I don't think this is something.
- 4:17Speaker 1: So that's the thing. I haven't told... Michael knows I'm
- 4:18Speaker 1: going to Nelson's birthday party tomorrow night. He doesn't know
- 4:21Speaker 1: what it is. I'll tell him. He won't care.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Minor details. Who's ever done this before?
- 4:27Speaker 4: I've actually done this before and the guy wasn't fully naked.
- 4:31Speaker 4: He was wearing like a very thin Speedo thong.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I am.
- 4:35Speaker 4: It's more about like their abs and like really getting
- 4:37Speaker 4: the shading of like the abs.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Would you be comfortable if Michael went to a naked
- 4:41Speaker 2: painting party.
- 4:41Speaker 8: Of a woman?
- 4:42Speaker 1: I would not care.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I would not like it.
- 4:44Speaker 8: You are polyester.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I am not polyester on this. I really don't. Polly! Pockets!
- 4:49Speaker 2: Yeah, Polly says sinning.
- 4:50Speaker 1: If he went every single night to this, then yeah,
- 4:53Speaker 1: that's a problem.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I actually am calling you out.
- 4:55Speaker 1: This is a one-off. This is a one-off. I'm going
- 4:57Speaker 1: to a birthday party.
- 4:58Speaker 2: A one-off is all it takes.
- 4:59Speaker 8: One-off. What?
- 5:00Speaker 1: What it takes? Are you going to go off with
- 5:02Speaker 1: this naked model man?
- 5:04Speaker 2: I didn't say that. Look what's in your head. Wow,
- 5:05Speaker 2: you professed that. I didn't bring that up. That was
- 5:07Speaker 2: the statement you had in your head.
- 5:08Speaker 4: I'm going to bring in my artwork on Monday and
- 5:10Speaker 4: y'all are going to be very impressed with what I make.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I don't like it. You're so boring, Tanya.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I don't like it.
- 5:18Speaker 6: I don't want to see another man's thing.
- 5:20Speaker 8: I don't either.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I don't want you to paint another man's thing. I'm
- 5:23Speaker 2: going to be in a room.
- 5:24Speaker 1: With 25 people painting.
- 5:26Speaker 2: How much paint? What color paint? What about shading it?
- 5:29Speaker 2: You know, you got gray for shade.
- 5:31Speaker 6: Or like his rear.
- 5:31Speaker 8: Exactly.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I think they stand. Well, depending on how the room
- 5:36Speaker 1: is set up, if it's like a circular room, you.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Guys texture and all these different art major.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Like I had got my degree in art from San
- 5:42Speaker 1: Diego state university. Thank you very much.
- 5:44Speaker 2: It was not planning on a 50 year old paint party.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I've done this app on campus.
- 5:49Speaker 4: I had a painting or a drawing shading parties.
- 5:53Speaker 1: They weren't parties. It was an actual class.
- 5:55Speaker 4: So it's very, you just have to be professional about it.
- 5:58Speaker 4: It's not a gross thing. The body is a beautiful thing.
- 6:01Speaker 1: And there's lots of curves.
- 6:02Speaker 2: The strange man's body that you're putting into a painting
- 6:04Speaker 2: to frame to bring to us is not okay. And also, Tanya,
- 6:07Speaker 2: I'm just noticing how defensive she is about that.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Because I don't like how defensive you guys are being
- 6:11Speaker 1: towards me.
- 6:12Speaker 2: It just eats guilt to me.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I will bark back.
- 6:16Speaker 2: We couldn't get a word in edgewise.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Yeah, we're not barking.
- 6:19Speaker 2: We're just saying this is wrong and you're going to
- 6:21Speaker 2: make a mistake.
- 6:22Speaker 1: See, that's a bark.
- 6:23Speaker 7: There's no way if Michael came to you and said,
- 6:25Speaker 7: I'm going to go paint a.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Naked lady, you'd be like, okay, babe. A handful of
- 6:30Speaker 2: them rolling around with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.
- 6:31Speaker 4: If it was like a guy's bachelor party and they
- 6:34Speaker 4: were all going to do this, what's the difference between
- 6:35Speaker 4: them going to strip club?
- 6:36Speaker 1: He's done that. I don't care.
- 6:38Speaker 2: It's more intimate painting the person than hanging out in
- 6:41Speaker 2: a club.
- 6:41Speaker 1: You guys just are not artists and you don't get it.
- 6:46Speaker 2: This is what happens. Tanya, be careful. After 20 years
- 6:48Speaker 2: of marriage, that's where you go. You paint naked people.
- 6:51Speaker 2: You guys can't even relate at all.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I can't.
- 6:55Speaker 2: The only one around here allowed to paint a naked
- 6:58Speaker 2: stranger is me.
- 6:58Speaker 1: It's not a gross thing or it's not an inappropriate thing.
- 7:02Speaker 2: It's art. We have to go.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Come on, please. Want me to tell Nelson?
- 7:08Speaker 6: No, he means go. Leave this conversation.
- 7:10Speaker 2: We have to go to Raging Waters. Tanya, I really
- 7:13Speaker 2: need you today to stand up for us. I'm standing up.
- 7:17Speaker 6: I'm standing up.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Sisney over here is going to a naked ping pong
- 7:23Speaker 2: paint party.
- 7:23Speaker 1: There's no ping pong.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Well, yeah, there is.
- 7:27Speaker 1: No.
- 7:27Speaker 2: What do you think you're painting?
- 7:28Speaker 4: This is why you're not invited to naked paint parties
- 7:31Speaker 4: because you're just too.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Immature about it. Also, when you are married to a
- 7:35Speaker 2: man and you're going to paint other naked models, I
- 7:37Speaker 2: feel like He's not. You haven't even told him that.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Just the fact that you've not told your husband you're
- 7:42Speaker 2: going to a birthday party with a painting naked man
- 7:44Speaker 2: tells me everything.
- 7:45Speaker 4: He will not care. It's Nelson's birthday. You know what
- 7:48Speaker 4: Nelson's parties are like?
- 7:49Speaker 1: He's been there. He doesn't want to go.
- 7:50Speaker 8: All right.
- 7:51Speaker 2: We've litigated this. Now we got that. Now Bella over there, Tanya. Bella,
- 7:57Speaker 2: our intern from USC who has a boyfriend. She is
- 8:01Speaker 2: in fantasy football. She's doing her draft, and she's got
- 8:03Speaker 2: an interesting strategy that I'm not so sure Michael or
- 8:06Speaker 2: her boyfriend would be happy about. What is your strategy?
- 8:10Speaker 5: I pick the players with fun names and the ones
- 8:12Speaker 5: that are most attractive.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Okay, now I'm your boyfriend, and you're picking Tank Bigsby, right? Whatever.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Tank Bigsby is a good-looking dude, and he's about your
- 8:25Speaker 2: boyfriend's age.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Oh, is he?
- 8:28Speaker 2: See, I don't know anything about them. Well, that's the thing.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I don't know. It's just fun. I know it's all fun,
- 8:37Speaker 2: but I still think I don't know that I want
- 8:41Speaker 2: to hear that my girlfriend is picking Jackson Dart because
- 8:45Speaker 2: he's hot for his fantasy football.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Oh, Jackson Dart is hot. He's a cutie.
- 8:50Speaker 2: He is cute. So is Jalen Hurts. So is Justin Herbert.
- 8:53Speaker 2: They're all good-looking guys. But to make that your strategy,
- 8:57Speaker 2: does he know?
- 8:59Speaker 5: No but honestly like I don't know any of their
- 9:02Speaker 5: stats so I don't know what else to go off
- 9:03Speaker 5: of I.
- 9:05Speaker 6: Go based on the wives which wives I know and
- 9:07Speaker 6: like true you could do that too yeah obviously Olivia
- 9:10Speaker 6: Culpo's husband.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Kristen Goff's husband wait not obviously which one's that.
- 9:14Speaker 6: Olivia Culpo's husband is Christian McCaffrey.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Well I didn't I don't see him he plays for
- 9:19Speaker 1: the 49ers.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Oh he's not on my lookbook I know.
- 9:24Speaker 7: It's not like we obviously we love Kristen Goff so
- 9:26Speaker 7: Jared Goff.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Yeah It's amazing these guys are so talented and handsome.
- 9:33Speaker 1: They are.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Right? You don't always get that.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Well, I mean, you kind of do because they were
- 9:38Speaker 1: the drops in high school.
- 9:39Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I think you get.
- 9:40Speaker 1: That a lot.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Yeah, that's literally like the stereotype of football players.
- 9:45Speaker 2: All right. Well, good luck with your fantasy football draft.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 9:50Speaker 2: You heard Nelson's having a party, did you? All right. Next,
- 9:53Speaker 2: today's quote of the day. Now, if you're single, maybe
- 9:56Speaker 2: your hobbies are holding you back. Michaela, this is for you.
- 9:58Speaker 2: What is it? your number one hobby, Michaela?
- 10:02Speaker 1: Going to concerts.
- 10:04Speaker 2: All right. So I got the most, this is in
- 10:07Speaker 2: a new study, the most and least attractive hobbies for
- 10:09Speaker 2: men and women. So the most attractive for men to
- 10:12Speaker 2: have would be traveling, dancing, and cooking. What do we
- 10:14Speaker 2: think about that?
- 10:14Speaker 1: Oh, I love dancing and cooking. Yeah, I'd like this.
- 10:17Speaker 6: I hate when people say traveling is their favorite.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I do too.
- 10:22Speaker 6: Everybody likes to travel.
- 10:24Speaker 1: No, that's not true.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Some people don't like to travel.
- 10:26Speaker 6: Who doesn't like to travel?
- 10:28Speaker 1: No, it's, I don't know if it's the like, if it's,
- 10:30Speaker 1: it's the ability to travel.
- 10:31Speaker 4: So if a man is like, makes enough money to
- 10:33Speaker 4: where he can travel a lot, then that is going
- 10:35Speaker 4: to haunt.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Cause then he'll take you with him.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Specific about your hobby. You know, like wild bird calling.
- 10:41Speaker 2: That would be a hobby.
- 10:43Speaker 8: Right.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Right. Like you need to not just traveling, but wild
- 10:47Speaker 2: bird calling in Australia. Yeah. That's a hobby.
- 10:49Speaker 6: I love having fun.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I like to cook. Well, I like to eat, of course.
- 10:53Speaker 6: All right.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Most attractive for women to have. Photography, outdoor activities, and sports. Oh,
- 11:01Speaker 2: I mean, too broad.
- 11:03Speaker 1: No, but it's hot if a girl knows sports.
- 11:06Speaker 2: It's also hot if you know how to restore old clocks.
- 11:09Speaker 1: That's not hot.
- 11:11Speaker 5: No.
- 11:11Speaker 9: It is.
- 11:12Speaker 2: You just don't know it. Have you ever seen anybody
- 11:14Speaker 2: restore a cuckoo clock?
- 11:15Speaker 1: I actually know somebody that does that, and it's all right.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, you can call me by my name.
- 11:19Speaker 4: All right.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Least attractive for men to have. Gambling. Oh, yeah. Comic booking.
- 11:24Speaker 5: Ew.
- 11:24Speaker 2: And clubbing.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Least attractive for women to have. Astrology. Reality TV. Clubbing. Tommy,
- 11:31Speaker 2: you're out. Today's quote, if you don't sacrifice for what
- 11:36Speaker 2: you want, what you want becomes the sacrifice.
- 11:41Speaker 6: You just don't think you like Love Island until you, like,
- 11:44Speaker 6: meet somebody.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I'm restoring grandfather clocks, okay? Leave me alone. What time
- 11:49Speaker 2: is it?
- 11:50Speaker 1: You can't even reach them.
- 11:52Speaker 2: I get the miniature versions. And that was a shot.
- 11:57Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 11:57Speaker 6: 2.7 Kiss FM.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Am I bruised in the chin from that last Cicely punch?
- 12:03Speaker 2: All right, let's get it. We've got Ronnie out. I
- 12:06Speaker 2: can't be distracted by your antics over there, your silliness.
- 12:10Speaker 2: We've got Ronnie out in Wilmington. He's got free gas.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Next at Kiss FM, first Cicely, the headlines. Kiss FM
- 12:15Speaker 2: headlines with Cicely.
- 12:17Speaker 1: All right, so the U.S.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Has temporarily suspended issuing immigrant visas with the State Department
- 12:23Speaker 4: expecting the pause to last until mid-September.
- 12:27Speaker 1: The ongoing heat.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Wave has brought a string of rattlesnake sightings across Southern California,
- 12:33Speaker 4: including in Newport Beach and Irvine. Arcadia residents are pushing
- 12:38Speaker 4: back against plans to remove 34 protected oak trees at
- 12:41Speaker 4: Santa Anita Park to make room for a temporary Olympic course.
- 12:46Speaker 1: And Selena Gomez is fighting a lawsuit from Fox.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Wondermind investors who say they were misled into putting over
- 12:53Speaker 4: a million dollars into her mental health startup.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Dominic's my baby doll Friday. Do you feel the vibes?
- 13:00Speaker 2: I feel the vibes. Let's have mocktails at three. Yeah.
- 13:05Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 13:07Speaker 5: Wow.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Finally.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because I'm faking everybody out with my mocktails.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Pretty genius.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Polly.
- 13:14Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Well, actually, it's authentic.
- 13:16Speaker 6: No, it's not.
- 13:17Speaker 7: Cause if it was authentic, you would just get like
- 13:19Speaker 7: a seltzer water, but you're like trying to act like
- 13:21Speaker 7: you're drinking.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I do it too.
- 13:22Speaker 6: It's fine.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Okay. Thanks. I'm trying to avoid conversations. That's all.
- 13:26Speaker 8: Yeah. Yeah.
- 13:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:27Speaker 6: Like, why aren't you drinking?
- 13:29Speaker 2: Um, I'm on a cleanse. No, no, just really don't.
- 13:32Speaker 6: Okay.
- 13:32Speaker 7: So, you know, I was asking you guys about our
- 13:34Speaker 7: next like group outing. I think this could be it.
- 13:36Speaker 7: So Jessica Alba, is it what?
- 13:41Speaker 2: As you know, Sissini, we have been talking about getting
- 13:45Speaker 2: a team tattoo for two decades.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Never once as a team.
- 13:51Speaker 8: Yes.
- 13:51Speaker 2: You must not have been listening. We could not settle
- 13:53Speaker 2: on one that we all agree with. Here we go.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Okay.
- 13:55Speaker 1: So I was not here for that conversation. I don't
- 13:58Speaker 1: know what you're talking about.
- 13:59Speaker 6: We definitely have had this conversation. I think we've had
- 14:01Speaker 6: it multiple times.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Maybe I was on maternity leave.
- 14:02Speaker 7: Jessica Alba is about to become an empty nester. Well,
- 14:05Speaker 7: not empty nester, but her oldest is going.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Away to college.
- 14:08Speaker 4: Wow.
- 14:09Speaker 7: But not before Jessica and her daughter, Honor, went and
- 14:12Speaker 7: got matching tattoos together before she left. Both of them
- 14:15Speaker 7: got the same design on their wrists. It's an eye
- 14:17Speaker 7: with an infinity symbol underneath it. The tattoo artist who
- 14:20Speaker 7: did the work posted about it, and he said it
- 14:22Speaker 7: was an unforgettable experience they'll share forever. Jessica shared her
- 14:25Speaker 7: own caption that pretty much sums up every mom's heart.
- 14:28Speaker 6: She said, forever connected and protected. My baby girl, I
- 14:32Speaker 6: love you.
- 14:33Speaker 7: So it's kind of like a spin on an evil eye.
- 14:35Speaker 7: And I think that would be so cute for all
- 14:37Speaker 7: of us to have. We're protected with the evil eye
- 14:41Speaker 7: and then together forever with the infinity symbol below it.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Let me start with if I were a parent, the
- 14:46Speaker 2: tattoo I would get of my kids.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:49Speaker 6: Why would you start there when you have us right now?
- 14:53Speaker 2: And you don't have a child. I don't want to
- 14:54Speaker 2: be so predictable these days. Okay, okay. I would do
- 15:00Speaker 2: the North Star with their initials on top. Sorry if
- 15:10Speaker 2: you're collapsing back there. I'm the North. We're the North
- 15:18Speaker 2: Star to your initials.
- 15:20Speaker 8: Okay.
- 15:21Speaker 2: I think it's great.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Is it one child or two children?
- 15:23Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 15:24Speaker 6: How many are we having?
- 15:25Speaker 2: I mean, I have two wrists, so it could be two, Max.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Oh, that's cute. Is it just the first name or?
- 15:30Speaker 2: No, the initials.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Both initials.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Initials on the left, initials on the right, where Spider-Man
- 15:34Speaker 2: has his web.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Pew, pew.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:37Speaker 8: Okay.
- 15:38Speaker 2: What are we getting?
- 15:39Speaker 6: We are going to do kind of like a- No,
- 15:41Speaker 6: I don't like this.
- 15:42Speaker 2: It's not as big.
- 15:43Speaker 6: We'll get a small, a little even.
- 15:44Speaker 1: I don't want it.
- 15:45Speaker 6: I don't want it.
- 15:46Speaker 2: What about oak tree roots that symbolize strength?
- 15:50Speaker 1: I'm more that vibe. Something like that.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Oak tree roots?
- 15:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Have you ever looked at an oak tree?
- 15:55Speaker 2: Yeah the way that they come up and resemble strength
- 15:58Speaker 2: and you can't cut them down in california intertwined together
- 16:01Speaker 2: these thick branches forever.
- 16:03Speaker 6: You want roots on your body tattoo oak.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Tree roots not magnolia tree.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Oak tree oak trees.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Major i don't know if i like that either but
- 16:13Speaker 4: we gotta just brainstorm something else and also i didn't
- 16:15Speaker 4: know these were matching this is news to me.
- 16:18Speaker 6: Matching i like infinity symbol, though.
- 16:20Speaker 7: Maybe we use the infinity symbol and we put our
- 16:21Speaker 7: initials in the infinity symbol.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Infinity symbol is cool. Was it overdone?
- 16:26Speaker 1: I don't know. I think it's overdone.
- 16:29Speaker 6: Together forever.
- 16:30Speaker 8: Are we?
- 16:30Speaker 2: Come on, let's be realist. We're definitely not after this
- 16:35Speaker 2: show today, that's for sure. We're taking a break. Oh
- 16:37Speaker 2: my gosh, guys. You've just broken her heart, you know that. Ronnie,
- 16:41Speaker 2: where's Ronnie? Ronnie, save us coming up with free gas
- 16:43Speaker 2: in Wilmington. Seacrest here. We've discovered Ronnie is out. and
- 16:48Speaker 2: making people's day, and they're liking it. Yesterday, they were
- 16:52Speaker 2: honking for him. Do you hear that? We're driving by honking.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Is that Ronnie? That's Ronnie. Don't let it go to
- 16:57Speaker 2: your head, Ronnie.
- 16:59Speaker 8: That really has made me feel so good. And my
- 17:01Speaker 8: outfit is cuter today, so I hope I get some
- 17:04Speaker 8: more hunks.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Okay, what's hunk-worthy today?
- 17:08Speaker 8: So I'm wearing a black mesh top, actually, that I
- 17:12Speaker 8: took from EJ. You can sense the theme. I like
- 17:15Speaker 8: to borrow clothes from all the people I kiss. So, Ryan,
- 17:18Speaker 8: whenever you have something to lend me, I will take it.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Do you think that my style and your style would
- 17:24Speaker 2: sync up?
- 17:26Speaker 8: I may have to cut some of your things up,
- 17:29Speaker 8: but we can make it work.
- 17:31Speaker 7: He has lots of Ronnie Henry shirt right there.
- 17:34Speaker 2: We're going to send you a photo of what we're
- 17:35Speaker 2: wearing today, we being me.
- 17:37Speaker 6: Here, hold on. Stand still.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Ryan's wearing a tank.
- 17:40Speaker 2: I'm seated.
- 17:41Speaker 1: He's flexing.
- 17:42Speaker 7: Ronnie, I'm going to send it to you right now.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:48Speaker 8: Let me see. Pink's a very summer color.
- 17:50Speaker 2: It's not pink.
- 17:52Speaker 1: It's a tank.
- 17:53Speaker 8: Oh, it's hard to hear outside you guys.
- 17:58Speaker 4: But yeah, Ronnie has borrowed clothes from all of us
- 18:01Speaker 4: at all different times of the year.
- 18:03Speaker 2: That is so cute.
- 18:07Speaker 8: I could borrow that. If you want to give it
- 18:09Speaker 8: to me anytime. Okay.
- 18:10Speaker 2: This is something that you would wear. I think it
- 18:13Speaker 2: would be a social moment. He can wear mine. I
- 18:16Speaker 2: can wear one of his and we'll post it up.
- 18:18Speaker 1: He's a late birthday present. It was in July.
- 18:21Speaker 2: All right. We're getting started. Ronnie, who's getting free gas?
- 18:26Speaker 8: Okay. I'm walking up to a white Nissan Sentra. Basically,
- 18:30Speaker 8: I've just been pulling up on people. This is my
- 18:32Speaker 8: new method. So I'm about to walk up to this
- 18:34Speaker 8: boy right here. I'm going to put on my customer
- 18:35Speaker 8: service voice.
- 18:36Speaker 2: This boy.
- 18:37Speaker 8: Hi, my name is Ronnie. Would you like some free
- 18:40Speaker 8: gas from Ryan Seacrest? Are you serious? Yes, I'm serious. Oh, yeah. OK,
- 18:46Speaker 8: what's your name? Oh, I'm Trevor. Trevor. OK, do you
- 18:48Speaker 8: want to talk to Ryan? Sure. OK, perfect. Hold on
- 18:52Speaker 8: two seconds.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Hello.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Hey, Trevor, Ryan Seacrest on Kiss FM. How are you, bro?
- 19:00Speaker 8: Wow. Ryan, is it really you?
- 19:01Speaker 2: Yes, sir.
- 19:03Speaker 8: Oh, wow.
- 19:04Speaker 9: Okay.
- 19:04Speaker 8: First of all, hi, I'm good.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Good.
- 19:06Speaker 8: How you doing?
- 19:06Speaker 4: How you doing?
- 19:07Speaker 2: Great.
- 19:07Speaker 8: Great.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Thank you. So tell me about yourself. You're obviously in
- 19:10Speaker 2: Wilmington getting gas. That's Ronnie, who works with us at
- 19:12Speaker 2: Kiss FM. We're going to fill up your tank.
- 19:14Speaker 8: Oh, my God. Thank you so much. Oh, my God.
- 19:16Speaker 5: Yeah. Sorry.
- 19:16Speaker 8: Thank you so much.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Me, me.
- 19:18Speaker 8: I'm a security guard.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Sorry.
- 19:20Speaker 8: I'm so thrown off. But yeah, I'm a security guard.
- 19:23Speaker 8: I'm on my way to work. uh i'm oh my
- 19:27Speaker 8: god i'm on my way to work yeah well and
- 19:29Speaker 8: you're also i was getting gas and yeah i just
- 19:32Speaker 8: got rolled up on some random person.
- 19:34Speaker 2: I know that's ronnie that's what he does his signature
- 19:37Speaker 2: is rolling up on people that's what he does so
- 19:38Speaker 2: well and he's going to give you the free gas
- 19:40Speaker 2: and you're on the air here with us and we're
- 19:42Speaker 2: very happy that we connected with you this morning how
- 19:45Speaker 2: long is your shift bro.
- 19:48Speaker 8: It's a quick little five hour. It's a little part time.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Oh, it's a dip and drip.
- 19:56Speaker 8: Yeah, pretty much a dip and drip, quick and sip.
- 19:59Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I like you. All right, Trevor. Congratulations. We're giving you
- 20:05Speaker 2: free gas. Have a good day at work. Have a
- 20:06Speaker 2: nice weekend.
- 20:07Speaker 8: Hell yeah. Have a good one, guys. Thank you so much.
- 20:10Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 20:12Speaker 8: All right. Bye, guys.
- 20:13Speaker 9: Bye.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Ronnie?
- 20:18Speaker 5: Yes.
- 20:18Speaker 2: He's great.
- 20:19Speaker 8: Yes, he's really nice.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Okay, so give him the free gas.
- 20:22Speaker 8: I feel like we would be friends.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Get his number.
- 20:27Speaker 8: Oh, I won't. Once we hang up, because I don't
- 20:30Speaker 8: want you guys to hear all of that.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I understand. He's only working for five hours today,
- 20:34Speaker 2: so he's got some time later. All right. Ronnie's out
- 20:36Speaker 2: in Wilmington. Free gas. Thank you very much, sir. It's
- 20:38Speaker 2: Kiss FM. Raging Waters tickets, a four-pack. Darlene, we're giving
- 20:42Speaker 2: these away with you. Hi, Darlene and Simi. How are
- 20:44Speaker 2: you doing?
- 20:46Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 20:46Speaker 1: How are you?
- 20:48Speaker 2: Super good. Thank you for listening to us. Are you
- 20:50Speaker 2: ready to play?
- 20:51Speaker 1: Please scan your first item.
- 20:53Speaker 2: The Checkout Challenge.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Checkout Challenge for four packs of Raging Waters. All right,
- 20:59Speaker 2: here's the deal. So Vons is the baseline. Vons in
- 21:04Speaker 2: Wittwood Town Center in Whittier, just off Whittier Boulevard. That's
- 21:07Speaker 2: today's grocery store. That's the baseline. You got to get
- 21:10Speaker 2: three right before you get three wrong. Basically, which costs
- 21:13Speaker 2: more is the name of the game, okay?
- 21:14Speaker 8: Okay. Okay.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Here we go. Which costs more, a full-sized red seedless
- 21:20Speaker 2: watermelon or a Stouffer's family-sized lasagna with meat sauce?
- 21:26Speaker 8: Lasagna.
- 21:29Speaker 2: It does cost more. That is correct by three bucks.
- 21:31Speaker 2: All right, you got one. Two more. A 16-ounce jar
- 21:38Speaker 2: of paste chunky hot salsa or a pint of Ben &
- 21:42Speaker 2: Jerry's peanut butter blondie bestie ice cream. Which costs more?
- 21:47Speaker 2: Ice cream. Yeah, that's right. $ 4. 99 for the salsa, $ 6. 49
- 21:53Speaker 2: for the ice cream. For the win, which costs more?
- 22:00Speaker 2: Three Gillette Venus Women's Disposable Razors or a pound of
- 22:05Speaker 2: Open Nature Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs?
- 22:11Speaker 8: I'm going to say the razors.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Don't you know it? 1099 to 699. Yeah, razors are expensive. Yeah, congratulations.
- 22:19Speaker 8: I'm a bond shopper.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I'm a Venus user.
- 22:23Speaker 1: You sure are. And the women's disposable ones, too.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Yeah, well, they're nice. You got that glidey stuff. All right, Darlene,
- 22:29Speaker 2: thank you for listening to us. Congratulations. You're going to
- 22:32Speaker 2: Raging Waters. Thank you, Ryan. You're welcome. Have a nice weekend.
- 22:37Speaker 2: It's KISS FMLA. Zara Larson's on.
- 22:41Speaker 8: On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Zara Larson, Lush Life, Dodger tickets on the way. Ronnie
- 22:49Speaker 2: Henry in Wilmington. So every now and then there's a
- 22:52Speaker 2: trend that people start talking about, which is a bit bizarre.
- 22:56Speaker 2: This latest one, thank you for feeding me the photos.
- 22:59Speaker 2: It's a dress-up shoe without the front. front. It's like
- 23:04Speaker 2: a shoeless shoe.
- 23:05Speaker 8: Yes.
- 23:05Speaker 4: So this has been all over my feeds and maybe
- 23:08Speaker 4: yours as well. Margaret Qualley, who we know her from
- 23:11Speaker 4: The Substance, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood with Brad Pitt,
- 23:16Speaker 4: is getting a lot of attention right now because she
- 23:17Speaker 4: wore these shoes on the red carpet in London for
- 23:20Speaker 4: the premiere of her new movie, The Dog Stars. The
- 23:23Speaker 4: shoes don't have soles. They are just heels, like you
- 23:26Speaker 4: were saying. And it's a designer shoe. It's made by Chanel.
- 23:29Speaker 4: Chanel debuted it on the runway earlier this year. But
- 23:32Speaker 4: now that Margaret has actually wore them out in the
- 23:35Speaker 4: real world, the internet is completely divided.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Can you even call these shoes?
- 23:40Speaker 4: Because her bare toes, the majority of her foot is
- 23:44Speaker 4: just on the ground.
- 23:46Speaker 6: But that's what we need in life.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Do you want to walk into a public bathroom with that, Tonya?
- 23:50Speaker 8: No, I don't.
- 23:51Speaker 2: When you go through LAX, are you going to wear these?
- 23:54Speaker 6: No, I would not wear these to LA.
- 23:55Speaker 2: No, you wear these to touch your grass or touch
- 23:57Speaker 2: the planet or the earth or all that stuff.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Right.
- 24:00Speaker 6: Maybe to dinner.
- 24:00Speaker 1: To dinner.
- 24:01Speaker 2: We don't wear these to Dodger Stadium.
- 24:03Speaker 6: To the park, maybe.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I don't think so. I don't think at the park.
- 24:07Speaker 6: On a walk with my dog.
- 24:08Speaker 1: What happens when you have to get up and go
- 24:09Speaker 1: to the bathroom at dinner?
- 24:12Speaker 6: I walk on my heels.
- 24:14Speaker 2: No, the heels are flat. There's not that much heel.
- 24:16Speaker 2: How about you go to see Spider-Man?
- 24:18Speaker 8: Okay.
- 24:19Speaker 2: You're in the fifth row.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Right.
- 24:21Speaker 2: And you got to go to the bathroom. What's on
- 24:22Speaker 2: the floor?
- 24:23Speaker 8: Stickiness.
- 24:23Speaker 2: You're going to walk through that? No. I don't think this...
- 24:26Speaker 2: Maybe for a photo, but not... to become part of wardrobe.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I exactly.
- 24:32Speaker 4: And you can argue this is fashion. This is, you know, whatever,
- 24:35Speaker 4: that's basically all it is like, this is not, yeah,
- 24:38Speaker 4: this is not practical at all.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I do not see this taking off, but I've, we've
- 24:43Speaker 2: all been wrong before about fashion. You can look back
- 24:45Speaker 2: at the photos. It's kiss FM. So Ronnie Henry is
- 24:49Speaker 2: our digital content manager here at kiss at Ronnie high
- 24:52Speaker 2: three eyes on Instagram. If you're interested, you went to
- 24:55Speaker 2: freedom high and, orlando basically on the disney world campus
- 25:01Speaker 2: was hired at iheart radio joined kiss 2021 and now
- 25:05Speaker 2: he's out making people happy providing free gas in a
- 25:08Speaker 2: moment where gas prices just are uncomfortable to even speak
- 25:13Speaker 2: of i mean you do you got you go and
- 25:15Speaker 2: you fill half a tank because it's too much to
- 25:17Speaker 2: fill a whole tank so you half tank it it's
- 25:19Speaker 2: true ronnie speaking of half tankers that's what you like
- 25:22Speaker 2: to wear what are you wearing today.
- 25:25Speaker 8: So I am wearing a mesh black shirt. It's like
- 25:28Speaker 8: a Jersey. It's very local says West California, West coast.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Is it a half tank mesh?
- 25:35Speaker 8: No, this one's a full one. So it's a little
- 25:37Speaker 8: more appropriate.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Well, it's totally appropriate because you're giving away full tanks
- 25:41Speaker 2: of gas. So who do you find?
- 25:43Speaker 8: Yes. I'm here with angel. And I would like to
- 25:45Speaker 8: point out, he's also wearing a mesh shirt. So I
- 25:48Speaker 8: was like, Oh, this is the perfect person. Here he goes.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Hello, angel.
- 25:55Speaker 8: Yes.
- 25:56Speaker 2: It is Ryan Seacrest on 102.7 Kiss FM. How are
- 25:59Speaker 2: you today? I'm good.
- 26:01Speaker 4: How are you?
- 26:02Speaker 2: Fantastic. So we are going to give you free gas
- 26:04Speaker 2: this morning. Where are you headed?
- 26:07Speaker 8: I'm headed to work, actually.
- 26:08Speaker 2: What do you do for work?
- 26:11Speaker 8: I work at a skilled nursing facility. I'm an admissions coordinator.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Well, we appreciate you listening to us as you roll
- 26:16Speaker 2: into work today. Yeah, that's Ronnie. What did you think
- 26:19Speaker 2: when he started to come up and offer you free gas?
- 26:21Speaker 2: Too good to be true.
- 26:23Speaker 8: Yeah, I thought it was a scam.
- 26:26Speaker 2: That's the problem. We're so used to scams everywhere that
- 26:29Speaker 2: if anything seems good, it's bad.
- 26:31Speaker 1: That's true.
- 26:32Speaker 2: And that's what's happened. But Ronnie's really turning that around.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Tank by tank. Mesh tank by mesh tank. What color
- 26:38Speaker 2: mesh are you wearing?
- 26:41Speaker 9: Green.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And Ronnie's got black.
- 26:44Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 2: It's meant to be.
- 26:46Speaker 8: We're actually matching.
- 26:49Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Well, enjoy your gas. Thank you for listening. Have a
- 26:53Speaker 2: great day. We appreciate taking the time to talk with us.
- 26:56Speaker 8: Thank you guys. Have a good one.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Bye.
- 27:02Speaker 8: No problem. Have a good day. Drive safe.
- 27:05Speaker 2: I would say this is a very successful stop in
- 27:07Speaker 2: Wilmington this morning. Would you say?
- 27:09Speaker 8: I would say so too. I'm like so happy that
- 27:12Speaker 8: I haven't been turned down today. It's really like we're leaving.
- 27:16Speaker 2: You're not going to be turned down anymore.
- 27:18Speaker 8: They call this, like, rejection therapy, right? Where, like, you, like,
- 27:22Speaker 8: practice getting rejected. So, like, I don't know what it
- 27:24Speaker 8: does for you, but that's how I feel like this is.
- 27:27Speaker 8: But I haven't been rejected today, so I'm feeling really
- 27:29Speaker 8: good about myself.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Well, bring it on back to HQ. We'll see you
- 27:32Speaker 2: in a little bit back here at KISS FM. All right.
- 27:34Speaker 8: See you guys soon.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Okay, Ronnie. That's KISS FM. Let me grab Melanie, Sissany,
- 27:41Speaker 2: Tanya for a second in Northridge. Good morning, Melanie.
- 27:45Speaker 5: Hi.
- 27:46Speaker 2: So you're dating a guy. That's what you're calling about.
- 27:50Speaker 8: Yep.
- 27:51Speaker 2: What is he doing?
- 27:52Speaker 3: So he puts his phone on do not disturb when
- 27:58Speaker 3: we're together.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Well, that's great. What a sign of respect. He's trying
- 28:02Speaker 2: to give you full attention.
- 28:04Speaker 1: No, that's kind of cute.
- 28:06Speaker 2: I think mine's on all the time.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I thought that as well. But, you know, I
- 28:12Speaker 3: also thought it was a little weird. So I finally
- 28:14Speaker 3: asked him about it. And he was saying how it's
- 28:18Speaker 3: because he works with like a lot of women and
- 28:21Speaker 3: he doesn't want us hanging out. And then his phone
- 28:23Speaker 3: being blown up by like his colleagues.
- 28:26Speaker 2: What does women have to do? Yeah, that is a
- 28:28Speaker 2: weird comment. I don't understand that.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Yes, exactly. Now I don't like it so much. Why
- 28:34Speaker 3: did he have to hide that?
- 28:36Speaker 2: But why would he say that? Like, either he's not
- 28:38Speaker 2: wanting to be bothered by work, or he's trying to
- 28:41Speaker 2: keep people he's wanting to date away. How much do
- 28:46Speaker 2: you like this guy?
- 28:49Speaker 8: Well.
- 28:50Speaker 3: We've been dating for a few months that I do
- 28:52Speaker 3: like him. So that's why I'm reaching out because like
- 28:55Speaker 3: I didn't want to freak out if this was like
- 28:58Speaker 3: something people do do. I know my sister puts her
- 29:01Speaker 3: phone on do not disturb sometimes. But yeah, it's not
- 29:05Speaker 3: because of dudes. And the.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Comment about women bothering him or reaching out to him
- 29:12Speaker 2: is a strange one.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Very, very.
- 29:15Speaker 2: You might want to dig a little deeper into this.
- 29:17Speaker 2: I do appreciate it. I think my phone is on.
- 29:21Speaker 2: What's the red? I have mine on red. Is that ring?
- 29:23Speaker 2: Not ring?
- 29:24Speaker 1: That's just silent.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Oh, silent.
- 29:26Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 29:27Speaker 1: I mean, I have it on silent as well when
- 29:28Speaker 1: we're in here.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Mine's silent all the time.
- 29:31Speaker 6: Mine too.
- 29:33Speaker 2: So anyway, I think you might want to ask him
- 29:36Speaker 2: a little bit more about why he made that one
- 29:38Speaker 2: comment and good luck. Okay.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Okay.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 29:42Speaker 2: I actually am an advocate of no phone on the
- 29:45Speaker 2: table on a date.
- 29:47Speaker 1: On a date. Yeah, I could see that.
- 29:51Speaker 2: After a couple of dates, I'll actually ask, can you,
- 29:55Speaker 2: I'll put my phone in her purse. I'll say that
- 29:58Speaker 2: I like, do you mind throwing my phone? If you
- 30:00Speaker 2: don't have room, you don't have room. And a lot
- 30:02Speaker 2: of purses do not have room for phones.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I know. Cause it's just room for our phone.
- 30:06Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 4: Well, not your phone or your sunglasses and all that
- 30:09Speaker 4: are in your keys. I don't want you to hold
- 30:11Speaker 4: all that. I just want my phone to be off
- 30:12Speaker 4: the table and in a safe place. So that's why
- 30:15Speaker 4: purse makers should make at least for two. But is
- 30:18Speaker 4: that your passive aggressive way of making sure that she
- 30:21Speaker 4: doesn't have her phone out on the table as well?
- 30:24Speaker 2: No, I truly do not want my phone to disturb us.
- 30:27Speaker 2: But what about hers? I don't love her phone in
- 30:30Speaker 2: a disservice either. But I'm not trying to be passive aggressive.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Given the two phones, I'd much rather be mine in
- 30:36Speaker 2: her purse than hers. Gotcha. Mine's distracting.
- 30:40Speaker 6: Let's talk about her.
- 30:43Speaker 5: Yes.
- 30:45Speaker 6: I was expecting you to cut me off or say no,
- 30:47Speaker 6: but this is exciting.
- 30:48Speaker 2: No, we ran out of time for this break. But
- 30:51Speaker 2: coming up next, we've got Tame Impala and Jenny, which
- 30:53Speaker 2: you're also asking for. On Air with Ryan Seacrest. 2.7.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Kiss FM.
- 31:02Speaker 8: All right.
- 31:02Speaker 2: It's going to be hot. We know that. Uncomfortable heat.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Don't even waste time making your hair look good because
- 31:07Speaker 2: when you get out in the heat, it's going to
- 31:08Speaker 2: all fall anyway.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Right? The heat that just gives it that wet, melty,
- 31:14Speaker 2: flat look. So don't waste your time.
- 31:17Speaker 1: I mean, still look presentable.
- 31:21Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 31:22Speaker 2: The heat makes me not want to try too hard. So... Curious, though,
- 31:27Speaker 2: if anybody's staying in to beat the heat. Any good
- 31:31Speaker 2: stuff to watch? Anything on your radar, Sisney? What's on
- 31:33Speaker 2: your weekend watch list?
- 31:34Speaker 4: There's a lot of good stuff out right now. And
- 31:36Speaker 4: remember the guy that was in the billboard on Sunset Boulevard?
- 31:38Speaker 1: Yes, that guy.
- 31:40Speaker 4: So I finally watched that movie. It's called The Last House,
- 31:43Speaker 4: and it's on Netflix. And this family gets mysteriously locked
- 31:46Speaker 4: into their home, and you don't know why. And the
- 31:49Speaker 4: entire movie just keeps building and building and building. And
- 31:52Speaker 4: there's something lurking outside, but you don't know what it
- 31:55Speaker 4: is until the very end of the movie.
- 31:56Speaker 1: It's just insane. And it was kind of scary, but good.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Okay, so I will put that on my list. Tanya,
- 32:03Speaker 2: anything on your weekend watch list?
- 32:05Speaker 6: So this is the final season, season five of Outer Banks.
- 32:09Speaker 6: It's on Netflix.
- 32:10Speaker 7: After losing one of their own, a group of young
- 32:11Speaker 7: friends go after the person responsible while trying to find
- 32:14Speaker 7: one last legendary treasure. All 10 episodes are streaming now
- 32:18Speaker 7: on Netflix. And there's actually a podcast that's on Netflix
- 32:22Speaker 7: as well for this.
- 32:23Speaker 6: That's also out on Netflix. So final season.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I started this season. It's good.
- 32:28Speaker 6: Are you watching the podcast?
- 32:29Speaker 5: No.
- 32:30Speaker 2: I mean, there's only so much time in a day.
- 32:33Speaker 1: When the show has a podcast, it's just a lot.
- 32:35Speaker 6: A lot of shows are doing this now.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. If you can jump into both of them,
- 32:41Speaker 2: it's great. What is on your weekend watch list?
- 32:44Speaker 9: This was such a good revenge thriller. So if you're
- 32:47Speaker 9: into thrillers, this might be for you. It's called Is
- 32:50Speaker 9: God Is On Demand. So after surviving a traumatic childhood fire,
- 32:54Speaker 9: two twin sisters take a road trip to confront their
- 32:57Speaker 9: troubled family history and seek justice for their mother. So
- 33:00Speaker 9: I watched it on Amazon Prime, but it's also on
- 33:02Speaker 9: Apple TV streaming as well.
- 33:05Speaker 2: This is not a... Smile, go to sleep after movie?
- 33:09Speaker 1: I did go to sleep after.
- 33:10Speaker 6: Maybe that's why I had.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Sleep paralysis. Yes, earlier this week. So at your own risk,
- 33:17Speaker 2: I watched that Boeing documentary on Netflix.
- 33:21Speaker 1: I watched it too.
- 33:22Speaker 2: It is telling if all of that is the case
- 33:27Speaker 2: and true.
- 33:28Speaker 1: I want to watch that.
- 33:30Speaker 2: But if you use airplanes or you fly, you might
- 33:33Speaker 2: want to see this just to see... A lot of
- 33:36Speaker 2: what happened, we reported on a lot of these incidents
- 33:39Speaker 2: over the last handful of years. But it was, I
- 33:42Speaker 2: would say, compelling, wouldn't you say?
- 33:44Speaker 1: Yes.
- 33:45Speaker 2: That's on Netflix. And it was on my, you know,
- 33:47Speaker 2: everybody's watching it chart, right? That thing that says the
- 33:50Speaker 2: top 10 things.
- 33:50Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I usually just fall for one of those.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Me too.
- 33:53Speaker 6: Never intersect. It's like so funny.
- 33:55Speaker 2: I think this you should look at if you travel.
- 33:58Speaker 1: I definitely am.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Kiss FM. So, highs in the mid-90s, over 100 inland.
- 34:05Speaker 2: It's just uncomfortable. I mean, hydrate, watch out for your pets, sunscreen,
- 34:09Speaker 2: all that stuff. But this weekend, remember we talked about
- 34:13Speaker 2: it when we first heard about it. Daisy Chain Fields
- 34:14Speaker 2: is this weekend. Sabrina Music Festival, founded by Olivia Rodrigo. Yeah.
- 34:18Speaker 2: 14 performances. There is no live stream, but if you're
- 34:21Speaker 2: going to that, that's happening. Also this weekend, Echo Park Rising.
- 34:25Speaker 2: It's a free multi-venue music festival, local and emerging bands.
- 34:28Speaker 2: The Orange International Street Fair takes over Old Town Orange
- 34:32Speaker 2: this weekend with seven stages, 30 food trucks and drink booths.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Dine LA has been going on. That ends today, actually. Oh, really?
- 34:41Speaker 2: Before the weekend. Your last chance to get special menus
- 34:44Speaker 2: at restaurants around the city will be tonight. And college
- 34:47Speaker 2: football is back. Bella, what do you know about it?
- 34:50Speaker 6: I know that I will be there.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Trojans. Taking on San Jose State tomorrow noon in the Coliseum.
- 34:56Speaker 2: What are people talking about?
- 34:58Speaker 5: All the tailgates will start at 9 a.m., so people
- 35:00Speaker 5: are pretty upset that it's really early.
- 35:02Speaker 1: People are upset.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Here comes the football, and we're upset. We're up in
- 35:06Speaker 2: arms about it. Darn it, please schedule the comeback later.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Sisney's painting naked men. Ruby's going to Sequoia with her siblings.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Bella's going to be at the game. Mikayla will be
- 35:15Speaker 2: looking for a man at Will Rogers Beach. I don't know.
- 35:20Speaker 2: I'm just trying to keep up. And that is it.
- 35:24Speaker 2: tanya i really feel like you and i were on
- 35:26Speaker 2: the same page all show.
- 35:28Speaker 7: Today i know and that rarely happens it's not true.
- 35:32Speaker 6: It is true it's usually you and cisney.
- 35:34Speaker 2: No it's usually a balancing act but today cisney i
- 35:37Speaker 2: don't understand her we'll see what she tells her husband.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Because you're not an artist I mean, going to.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Paint naked guys this weekend is not for me.
- 35:46Speaker 4: It's not like I'm going to some random alley and painting.
- 35:48Speaker 4: It's organized.
- 35:49Speaker 2: You're having random guys come into a home you know.
- 35:51Speaker 1: It's an organized business.
- 35:52Speaker 6: It's not for me either.
- 35:53Speaker 1: It's in a business.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Does your husband know?
- 35:56Speaker 1: I'll tell him today.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Well, somebody's probably already rang him.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Nobody's rang him. It doesn't matter. He won't care.
- 36:02Speaker 2: I disagree. And even if he tells you he doesn't,
- 36:06Speaker 2: he does.
- 36:06Speaker 6: No, it's not true.
- 36:07Speaker 2: We're back Monday with a Ryan's Rose. It's okay. I'll
- 36:09Speaker 2: talk to you in the morning, AT40, Sunday morning, AT40.
