- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I am grateful for having been depressed.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: I am grateful for having been obese.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: I am grateful for having had terrible social anxiety, having had no friends, having been that fucking loser.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: If I had not gone through those trials, those tribulations, I would not be where I am today.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: Hey, I'm Tony Boutros, and this is the Reborn Podcast.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: On this podcast, you'll find motivational speeches, self-improvement lessons that'll change your life.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: I hope you enjoy, and feel free to let me know what you think of this episode in the comments below.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: I was speaking with a loved one the other day, someone I've been close with my entire life.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: They've always been supportive of me, and they've always had my back.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: And they said something that kind of bothered me, and it was they don't believe in me.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: But if you take a step back, you take a second to realize and just breathe it in, take it in, you realize that it's not that they don't believe in you, it's that they have been accustomed to being average, to living their life how they lived their life.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: So when you tell them all these wild dreams that you have, that's what they seem like to them.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Wild dreams.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: To you, it's a reality that will happen and that will unfold.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: But to them, all they are is wild Hollywood dreams.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: And you have to understand, they're not trying to tear you down, they're not trying to make you feel bad about yourself, they are not trying to do any harm to you.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: It is just their limiting beliefs that stop them from believing that yeah, this shit can really happen.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: You really can achieve everything you are talking about.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: You really can be wealthy, you can be famous, you can be jacked, you can't have a beautiful family, you can have anything you want, you can have anything you work for.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: That's the difference.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: See, you cannot have everything you want.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: What you can do is have everything you work for.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: You don't go to bed saying, oh, tomorrow I want to wake up a millionaire and wake up a millionaire.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: No, you you go to work, you grind day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year, and eventually the hard work will pay off and you will wake up a millionaire.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: I do not hate people, I do not dislike people, I do not discredit people for having limiting beliefs.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: It's what they've been accustomed to, it's what they've grown up believing, it's what they have had instilled in them.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: But to truly live the life you desire, you must break free from these beliefs.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: You must break free from these people who are tearing you down, who are holding you back.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: Of course, that doesn't mean you need to cut all relationships with them.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: If you're genuinely a supportive person, you don't need to cut all relationships with him, but you do need to be careful to not let their thoughts, to not let their limiting beliefs, become your own beliefs.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Because once that happens, you will end up no better than they are.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: You will end up in the same exact spot that they are in.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: And I think for most of the people listening, you want greatness.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: You want to live the life you create, not the life that others tell you you can have.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: You must break free from these limiting beliefs in order to do so.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: You must believe in yourself, you must put the work in, you must not allow others to tear you down, and don't tell you thanks personally.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: I was talking with my grandma the other day, talking about this rude shake at Chipotle.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: She was just extremely rude, and so we talked about it, and I'm like, Grandma, I know she was really rude, but you shouldn't take it personally.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: You know she does not know who you are, you don't know who she is, you don't know what she's been through, she doesn't know who what you've been through.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: You guys are strangers.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: All she is is an employee working at Chipotle.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: I guarantee she means you no harm.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: It's just a perspective, and once you truly believe it, once you understand that, okay, people have their own lives and they're not obsessed with my life.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Once you understand that statement, it's ultimately very freeing.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: It frees your mind to the belief that okay, I can be whatever the fuck I want because whether I fail or succeed, no one gives a fuck.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: I I'm serious, no one gives a fuck.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: You know, maybe there's gonna be gold diggers or people that are trying to chase after your clout or your fame or your money or whatever it is, but in the end, no one gives a fuck.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: So live your fucking life.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Hope everyone is enjoying the podcast.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: I just want to ask you guys one thing.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: You know, I don't run ads, I don't ask you to buy anything from me, so the one ask I can have of you is to share this podcast with a friend, family member, or whoever it may be that you genuinely think will can benefit and improve their life through listening to this podcast.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: If you can do that, I'd greatly appreciate it, and more importantly, it can change someone's life, it can help someone improve their own life.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: I am extremely humbled and grateful, and I'm becoming empathetic with who I used to be.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: I am grateful for having been depressed, I am grateful for having been obese, I am grateful for having had terrible social anxiety, having had no friends, having been that fucking loser.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: If I had not gone through those trials, those tribulations, I would not be where I am today.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: You know, I get told all the time, you're very mature for your age.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: I'm 19.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: Until recently, I didn't understand that for myself.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: I didn't believe that for myself.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: I didn't believe, okay.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I am mature for my age.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: I didn't believe that.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: But then you look at the world and you're like, all these kids would rather spend their fucking time partying, getting drunk, getting wasted, like why?
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: You're telling me in your 20s, when you have the most energy, you had the least responsibilities, you have the most time, that's when you're supposed to party?
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: When everything is in your favor?
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: When everything is in your favor, you're gonna party.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: When you have no responsibilities, when you have all the fucking time in the world, when you have all the energy in the world, you're gonna party?
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: You're gonna waste it?
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: On partying?
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: To me it it doesn't make sense, and I believe I have this framework of thought.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: One, because of research, because of realizing what my life will become if I give into that life.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: And two, because of what I've been through, because I have been through depression, because I have been a loser who no one fucking wants to talk to, who no one fucking likes, I understand that that is not the life I want.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: I would rather spend my time when I have energy, when I have time, when I have no responsibility, grinding, making money, getting in shape, doing shit that will truly improve my life, rather than the alternative where you are spending your nights partying, spending the next day hungover, and repeat day in, day out, all this to get into a hundred grand worth of debt in a job that you could have gotten before college.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: You don't party at 20 years old.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: An idiot parties at 20 years old.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: You grind.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: I don't give a fuck if it's in silence or if you have partners.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: You grind regardless.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: You do not wait, you do not make excuses, you do not let your competition pass you.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: I don't care if it's sunny, I don't care if it's snowy, I don't care if I woke up happy or if I woke up on the wrong side of bed, I don't care.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: I don't care.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: I am fucking grinding today.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: Period.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: Period.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: There's nothing else to do but improve your fucking life, grind, make the fucking life you want instead of watching people on social media and on TV and in Hollywood fucking living their lives.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: Because I know some of you would rather watch movies, would rather scroll through social media, would rather binge Netflix than go do cool shit with your own life.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: Go do shit that even allows you to do cool shit with your life.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: But no.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: That's too hard.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: It's too hard to wake up at 6 a.m., go to the gym, come back, eat breakfast, get straight to work.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: It's too fucking hard.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: If you think that the path to success is too hard, let's see how you feel about failure.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Let's see how you feel when you are 90 years old looking back on your life and you have nothing.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: Nothing you are proud of.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: And all you are filled with is regret.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Regret of what you did not do with your life.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: Regret of shit that you knew you should have done, and yet you let the years pass by.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: Reconciling your relationship with your mother.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: Going after that new job.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: Going after that girl.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: You knew you should have fucking done it, and you did not do it, and now what?
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: You are on your deathbed, looking back at your life, and you have nothing but regret.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: Is this how you want to live your life?
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: Full of regret?
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: Think about yourself.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: Take a step back and envision yourself when you are 90 years old.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: Are you doing shit today that is going to make you proud and in 50, 60, 70 years?
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: If not, I suggest you take a fucking look at your life and improve it.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: Do the shit that you know you need to do.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Because quite frankly, all of us have the blueprint.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: We all know if you work hard, you will be successful.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: If you work hard, you make sacrifice, you do the shit that you need to do, you will be successful.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: We all know this, and yet how many people actually do it?
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: I can count on my fingers how many do it.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: Not many.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: Everyone knows how to do it.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: Everyone loves talking about it.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: And very, very few do it.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: Just fucking do it.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: Just do the thing, just do the work.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Just fucking grind.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: Just fucking grind.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: Period.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: Period.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: What the fuck else is there to do?
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: If you don't do the work, someone will.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: If you don't go after the woman, someone will.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: If you don't chase your dreams, someone will, and someone will enjoy the life you should have had.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: Just do the fucking work.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: Just do the fucking work.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: Period.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: Hey guys, as always, this is Tony Boutros.
