- 0:13Speaker 1: Hell live a bit of Welcome to the Nordyman I
- 0:16Speaker 1: show'm your host of Shooter and it is Wednesday, which
- 0:18Speaker 1: means my dear friend Donna Meacham joins us. Hey, Donny,
- 0:21Speaker 1: are you thereo? Weinsday window back in, my friends, you
- 0:25Speaker 1: were not feeling well last week, but you look terrific
- 0:27Speaker 1: this week. So whatever you got, it's certainly gone and
- 0:30Speaker 1: maybe even left you for the better. You look a
- 0:32Speaker 1: little a little cinched, may I say? In that cute
- 0:34Speaker 1: little jacket you wear in.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Adorable thank you to from Express before they adorable some cheap.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Now don't tell people that say it's Gucci. It looks fabulous. Okay,
- 0:46Speaker 1: let's jump into the show. What time is it, my friends?
- 0:48Speaker 1: It is at the top of the show. So Katie
- 0:51Speaker 1: Perry is pretty much at this point wishing she never
- 0:54Speaker 1: went to space. So on yesterday's show we told you
- 0:57Speaker 1: about some of the backlash. Some people are saying, what's
- 0:59Speaker 1: the Wasn't this just billionaires wanting to be tourists and
- 1:04Speaker 1: nothing really happened for eleven minutes. Well now things are
- 1:07Speaker 1: getting worse because Wendy's, the fast food chain, has posted
- 1:12Speaker 1: a comment that is getting picked up everywhere they said, quote,
- 1:17Speaker 1: can we send her back? So Katie landed back on Earth.
- 1:23Speaker 1: There was a fabulous picture of her I think kissing
- 1:25Speaker 1: the ground or Wendy's want to send her back into space.
- 1:30Speaker 1: And although that's funny and a little bit cheeky, I
- 1:33Speaker 1: get it. The bigger picture here is that Katie thought
- 1:36Speaker 1: she was going to be a hero. They all thought
- 1:38Speaker 1: they were gonna be welcomed back like they were astronauts.
- 1:42Speaker 1: They weren't. They were tourists. Who know a billionaire And
- 1:46Speaker 1: so all of this now is starting to feel really
- 1:49Speaker 1: tone death. Donnie had a touch when people are struggling
- 1:54Speaker 1: to pay for eggs, which they are, who can afford
- 1:58Speaker 1: half a million dollars is a five hundred thousand if
- 2:02Speaker 1: they're challenge to go to space? None of these people paid.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It was all the free. But I don't know, Donnie,
- 2:09Speaker 1: what do you think She's this all a big mistake?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Should she never have done it? Well?
- 2:13Speaker 2: Look, here's the thing. We don't bash people on this show.
- 2:18Speaker 2: So this is not Rob's opinion, this is mine. Take
- 2:21Speaker 2: it from me. I don't love Katy Perry. And it's
- 2:26Speaker 2: because I look a lot of people in the business.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I've heard a lot of things about a lot of people.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Some of them have been true, some of them have
- 2:35Speaker 2: not been true. I've heard varying stories about people being tricky,
- 2:39Speaker 2: being whatever. Every single person I know who has dealt
- 2:46Speaker 2: with Katy Perry has the same conclusion, which is take
- 2:51Speaker 2: that as.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You may not good.
- 2:54Speaker 2: So here's the thing that's even better. Not only did
- 2:57Speaker 2: Wendy shade her, which though I will will take a
- 3:02Speaker 2: little bit of heat off of them, they are known
- 3:04Speaker 2: for having yes yes, Kesha went a step further so
- 3:14Speaker 2: we all know Kesha has a little problem with Katy Perry.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Perry worked with Doctor Luke on her new album proudly
- 3:25Speaker 2: work with Doctor Luke, and went out and said, yes,
- 3:27Speaker 2: I worked with Doctor Luke.
- 3:28Speaker 1: And just to explain Dr luth Is who assault sexually
- 3:35Speaker 1: assaulted Yes.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Well, after Windy's tweeted that, Kesha goes on to her
- 3:44Speaker 2: Instagram story shares a photo of herself drinking from a
- 3:49Speaker 2: Windy It's like, you couldn't. You don't have to say,
- 3:56Speaker 2: but you said it all.
- 4:00Speaker 1: A vote. Gosh, when I get a Wendy's now, I
- 4:02Speaker 1: love Wendy's. I do love a breaking cheeseburger. I love
- 4:07Speaker 1: is that now supporting the cause. Maybe I am. It's
- 4:12Speaker 1: just so interesting to me. I did not see this coming.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I thought it was a little odd that Lauren Sanchez,
- 4:18Speaker 1: his girlfriend, his fiance, was heading up. And then I
- 4:21Speaker 1: did think it was a little odd when the Kardashians
- 4:23Speaker 1: were spotted in Texas. I know, next to Oprah. It
- 4:27Speaker 1: was Opra crying, Orlando Bloom and then the Kardashians, which
- 4:31Speaker 1: I thought was a little odd. But I do get
- 4:33Speaker 1: now buyer's remorse. You say yes to stuff and then
- 4:37Speaker 1: after you think it through, or after you do it,
- 4:39Speaker 1: you're like, oh, I don't know if that was such
- 4:41Speaker 1: a good idea. I nearly got in trouble. I was
- 4:44Speaker 1: on television a few years ago every day on my
- 4:48Speaker 1: own show, and I got offered to do a naked
- 4:52Speaker 1: spread in Playgirl magazine. So they approached me. I said yes,
- 4:58Speaker 1: without thinking that I actually to take my clothes off.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I came to my senses. But I do think we
- 5:03Speaker 1: say yester still sometimes too fast. You can take a minute.
- 5:07Speaker 1: And I think, Katie, if I'd actually thought this through,
- 5:10Speaker 1: I would have said, maybe we should give a massive
- 5:12Speaker 1: donation to a credit right, maybe we should at least
- 5:16Speaker 1: try and do some science experiments while we're up in space. No,
- 5:19Speaker 1: this was purely a joy ride. It's like going to
- 5:23Speaker 1: a theme park and getting on a roller coaster. So
- 5:27Speaker 1: I do believe this probably was a mistake. Katie's regretting it.
- 5:30Speaker 1: When does the fast food restaurants are making fun? Our
- 5:34Speaker 1: question of the day is Katy Perry is regretting going
- 5:39Speaker 1: to space? Do you think she's right? Was this a mistake?
- 5:43Speaker 1: Next time? Should she maybe just pass? What do you think?
- 5:47Speaker 1: Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rab
- 5:50Speaker 1: Our facebook page is naughty Go zip and be sure
- 5:54Speaker 1: to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Donnie Love,
- 5:57Speaker 1: what are you working on?
- 5:59Speaker 2: You're giving You're giving Katie too much credit?
- 6:01Speaker 1: And that just I'm gonna.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Leave it there, leave it the but this though, I uh,
- 6:10Speaker 2: I won't leave though it's it was a little mean.
- 6:13Speaker 2: So Amy Lou, would you know? She's breaking her sound
- 6:16Speaker 2: and she's talking about being mocked by SNL and I
- 6:20Speaker 2: wasn't crying over that.
- 6:22Speaker 3: The white NOTUS actress. She was sput in.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Interis on a South London sidewalk, sparking immediate speculation that
- 6:29Speaker 2: her emotional moment was linked to a recent SnO parody
- 6:33Speaker 2: that poked fun at her on screen presence. Right now,
- 6:38Speaker 2: she has teeth that are put in a nice way,
- 6:44Speaker 2: that are different.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yes, she stands out. It's you're not telling her anything.
- 6:50Speaker 1: She doesn't know. She grew up with its teeth. It's
- 6:52Speaker 1: when people tell you you got fat. I'm like, I
- 6:55Speaker 1: know it's my body. I know what I look like.
- 6:58Speaker 1: She knows that she has rather teeth.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Yes, And on sn L they went and they went
- 7:04Speaker 2: for it. They went for it, and they literally they
- 7:06Speaker 2: they made the teeth. Actually four times they made fun
- 7:10Speaker 2: of her.
- 7:11Speaker 1: So this is the thing.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I am all for making fun of people. That's why
- 7:17Speaker 2: I love Joan Rivers, I love Kathy Griffin. You can
- 7:21Speaker 2: make fun of people if it's something they can change, hmm,
- 7:31Speaker 2: and not by surgery. Now they have had surgery. You
- 7:34Speaker 2: can make fun of that because they elected to do that.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Things they were given. You don't make fun of even
- 7:42Speaker 2: a man's size down there, if it's small, I wouldn't
- 7:46Speaker 2: make fun of it.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I wouldn't make fun I wouldn't make fun that.
- 7:49Speaker 2: You can't help.
- 7:50Speaker 1: We have a rule on the show, we don't make
- 7:51Speaker 1: fun of the white people. Look, we don't make fun
- 7:54Speaker 1: of that. That wait, and we did make fun though,
- 7:56Speaker 1: I mean, we love a good giggle on this personality.
- 7:59Speaker 1: She nice, but she's saying it wasn't actually about that,
- 8:02Speaker 1: it was about something else. When I hit the phones
- 8:03Speaker 1: because I needed to know if she's not upset about
- 8:06Speaker 1: SNL and why was she crying, she was crying on
- 8:08Speaker 1: the streets in London. I hit the phones, and sources
- 8:11Speaker 1: close to her tell me she's just overwhelmed with this moment.
- 8:14Speaker 1: She's been a working actress for years, doing tons of projects,
- 8:17Speaker 1: and nobody knew her name. She round the streets, nobody
- 8:21Speaker 1: bothered her, and then suddenly she's on one show, just
- 8:23Speaker 1: one show, and it's only on for eight weeks, it's
- 8:25Speaker 1: just eight episodes, and now paparazzi is sitting outside her.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Has Nothing prepares you for that sort of overnight success,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and so it's a lot. It's just a real lot
- 8:35Speaker 1: for her to get used to, to adjust, to think about,
- 8:39Speaker 1: to really deal with. I know a few people who
- 8:42Speaker 1: are quite famous, and they said when fame hit, when
- 8:45Speaker 1: it hit them, it literally was like a hurricane, a rollercoaster.
- 8:49Speaker 1: All these emotions. Nobody teaches you, Nobody prepares you for
- 8:55Speaker 1: anything like that to happen. I think that's what's going
- 8:58Speaker 1: on here. Totally overwhelm the teeth. I think we're using
- 9:01Speaker 1: those almost there's a little bit of an excuse, But
- 9:04Speaker 1: it's bigger than that. It's not just the teeth, it's
- 9:07Speaker 1: the fame. She has exploded for essen El to Parry,
- 9:11Speaker 1: do you you've gotta be famous, you gotta be in
- 9:14Speaker 1: the spotlight, You've got to be in the moment. Well,
- 9:16Speaker 1: she is certainly in the moment, Donna. She's all anybody
- 9:20Speaker 1: is talking out. I would argue she's the breakout staff
- 9:22Speaker 1: from the show. We want to think it's Patrick's watching her,
- 9:24Speaker 1: but it's actually not. It is her. Everybody is talking
- 9:28Speaker 1: about this. It's a large She doesn't have security. She
- 9:30Speaker 1: didn't make a lot of money from the white loaders.
- 9:33Speaker 1: They don't make a fortune, so she can't afford to
- 9:35Speaker 1: change her life. So even though her life has absolutely changed,
- 9:39Speaker 1: the reality of paying her bills and getting up and
- 9:42Speaker 1: walking to the corner store to buy some dinner and
- 9:45Speaker 1: going out shopping at a supermarket, she's still doing regular
- 9:48Speaker 1: things because she's not hit the financial jackpt, although she's
- 9:51Speaker 1: hit the fame chout put. My heart breaks it really does.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You see it a lot with celebrities who really work.
- 9:59Speaker 1: They they work, they work, they work, and then suddenly, boom,
- 10:02Speaker 1: they hit the big time. I was friendly ish with
- 10:06Speaker 1: James Gandalfiendi you remember him from The Sopranos. He was
- 10:09Speaker 1: a working actor all his life. He never really had
- 10:12Speaker 1: a hit until the Sopranos, and then suddenly when he
- 10:14Speaker 1: turned about fifty, he became a superstar and it was
- 10:19Speaker 1: a lot. He found it really hard to cout with Johnny.
- 10:22Speaker 1: When you finally become as famous as I think you
- 10:24Speaker 1: should be, do you think it will be difficult for
- 10:27Speaker 1: you to take in? Absolutely?
- 10:29Speaker 2: Because here's the thing I think. You know, I know
- 10:33Speaker 2: I can feel it and it might sound like I'm,
- 10:36Speaker 2: you know, being narcissistic or whatever. I can feel that
- 10:39Speaker 2: I'm going to be on some sort of talk show.
- 10:42Speaker 1: You will pop, there will be a moment.
- 10:44Speaker 2: And the thing is, though, is a lot of people
- 10:47Speaker 2: like with The White Lotus. It's a TV show to
- 10:50Speaker 2: people to shore they love for these actors and actresses,
- 10:55Speaker 2: it's their dream.
- 10:56Speaker 1: It's a dream.
- 10:57Speaker 2: It's something that they that I have. It's so hard
- 11:01Speaker 2: at this, you know, I've had so many hard nights, crying,
- 11:05Speaker 2: not knowing where how I'm gonna pay my rent, not knowing.
- 11:09Speaker 2: I've had to skip meals at times back in the day,
- 11:12Speaker 2: not so much now. I mean, you know I get
- 11:14Speaker 2: by now, but back I had to skip meals because
- 11:17Speaker 2: I didn't have enough money to eat. I've had to,
- 11:20Speaker 2: you know, go without so much, but because I didn't
- 11:25Speaker 2: want to give up on something. And that's what people do,
- 11:28Speaker 2: so making it even a sliver, I mean, you just
- 11:33Speaker 2: even when I got on celebrity page for people, that's
- 11:36Speaker 2: people never even heard of the show. I never even
- 11:38Speaker 2: heard of Reels Channel.
- 11:40Speaker 1: But for me, I.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Cried because it's I checked something off my legs.
- 11:47Speaker 1: That's right. You have to keep checking the book. So
- 11:49Speaker 1: and I'm so happy I turned up into your life,
- 11:51Speaker 1: Johnny and changed it like a fairy godmother.
- 11:54Speaker 4: When I found you well, skinny Minie. I know she's
- 11:58Speaker 4: still skinny Mini now with a big bulge of money
- 12:04Speaker 4: thanks to Rob Shoute.
- 12:05Speaker 1: You're welcome, okay lung. Tyra Banks is revealing that she
- 12:10Speaker 1: fled for Australia. She left together Australia and Extream come true.
- 12:13Speaker 1: So Tyra's doing the today show. This week she's co
- 12:15Speaker 1: hosted in the fourth hour with Jenna and she said
- 12:17Speaker 1: she just fell in love with Australia. Every time she
- 12:19Speaker 1: went there, she just absolutely loved it. Plus her ice
- 12:22Speaker 1: cream business. She launched Schmies, an ice cream business. Of
- 12:26Speaker 1: course she did down Under and it's done really, really
- 12:28Speaker 1: well in Australia. It did not do so well in America.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Now I am bomb my sources a zellinge. I don't
- 12:35Speaker 1: know if she left or she was pushed. Her TV
- 12:38Speaker 1: show was canceled, her talk show, she was fired from
- 12:40Speaker 1: Dancing with the Stars. She wasn't getting a lot of
- 12:43Speaker 1: opportunities here and said, you know what she did. I
- 12:45Speaker 1: think it's great. She found somewhere else. She kept moving
- 12:48Speaker 1: and so now Tyra is one of the biggest stars
- 12:51Speaker 1: in Australia. It's interesting because we talk about this. Do
- 12:54Speaker 1: you want to be a big fish in a small
- 12:56Speaker 1: pond or a small fish in a big pond. I'm
- 12:59Speaker 1: a small fish and a very big pond of New York, Donna.
- 13:01Speaker 1: You're a small fish in the big pond of la
- 13:04Speaker 1: But if you and me moved to a smaller city,
- 13:06Speaker 1: we could be the mayor. We could be so fabulous,
- 13:09Speaker 1: but I do like big cities. But Tyra down in Australia,
- 13:12Speaker 1: I wish, I wish, though you know, I'm happy for her.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I used to be Tyra's publicist. I know her pretty well.
- 13:16Speaker 1: She's actually much cooler than you think she would be.
- 13:19Speaker 1: But I just wish you'd tell the truth here. And
- 13:21Speaker 1: I wish you'd say I left because all the work
- 13:23Speaker 1: had dried up in America. I had a failed TV
- 13:25Speaker 1: show too, Dancing with the Stars and my own talk show,
- 13:27Speaker 1: and so I had to figure out something and I
- 13:29Speaker 1: did so. I think Tyra, if you're listening lower, lower, low,
- 13:32Speaker 1: the truth will always set you through. Okay, Moving along, Donnie,
- 13:35Speaker 1: Prince Annery is remaining very icy and distant with King Charles.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Too bad. What's happening.
- 13:44Speaker 3: It's all over security, as you know do security, which
- 13:50Speaker 3: is something that Prince Airy has really his mom.
- 13:55Speaker 1: His mom died. And when you say security, we mean money.
- 14:01Speaker 1: It's who's paying for the security they want? They need security.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Nobody's saying they don't need security. Who's going to pay.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Yeah, no, the security and stuff. And it's just like
- 14:11Speaker 2: the man needs security. I don't care what you say.
- 14:13Speaker 1: He's Prince's Prince Harry procurity.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Yes, saw what happened to his mama?
- 14:19Speaker 1: Give it to him.
- 14:20Speaker 2: The problem is because they give up royal duties did
- 14:26Speaker 2: the Crown doesn't want to pay for it because the
- 14:28Speaker 2: Crown people forget and rob. You are obviously the expert
- 14:31Speaker 2: on this. I am just going back with what I know.
- 14:34Speaker 2: The Crown is it taxpayer funded. It's so it's not
- 14:39Speaker 2: a it's not a I hate to say, real entity,
- 14:41Speaker 2: but it's not a real entity.
- 14:43Speaker 1: It's hard, isn't it, because they they don't want the
- 14:45Speaker 1: British taxpayer to pay. But I think about this all
- 14:48Speaker 1: the time. They've got hundreds of millions of dollars worth
- 14:51Speaker 1: of palaces and art. Sell a Picasso, sell a Receptor,
- 14:56Speaker 1: Go and sell one of those tiarists. Because a lot
- 14:58Speaker 1: of stuff is not owned by them. They don't own
- 15:00Speaker 1: Booking Can Palace, they don't own the Crown Jels. But
- 15:03Speaker 1: our palaces that they do own, they own massive estates
- 15:05Speaker 1: of land. Use your money to help. I'm a bit
- 15:08Speaker 1: sad at the moment. So I had to pay an
- 15:10Speaker 1: enormous tax bill and I looked at my bank account
- 15:12Speaker 1: pretty much be wiped out, and I felt really poor.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I feel really really poor at in England. Here I
- 15:18Speaker 1: feel like really really poor here in America. I just
- 15:21Speaker 1: paid my huge tax bill here, and so I feel poor.
- 15:23Speaker 1: And then I was going to get a dinner on
- 15:25Speaker 1: Friday night. Bruce and I nearly canceled, and I said, no,
- 15:27Speaker 1: don't cancel, but don't get any wine, don't get an appetizer.
- 15:31Speaker 1: We can still go and have a lovely, lovely meal.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Just sort of compromise a little bit. And I wish
- 15:35Speaker 1: the Royals were better at that. I wish we all
- 15:37Speaker 1: were better at that. We can figure out a way
- 15:39Speaker 1: if we want to. I want them to figure out away. Okay,
- 15:43Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:44Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the naughty but nice
- 15:49Speaker 1: hum your head from shooter with idear friend Donnie. Meetam hey, Donni.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Let's get to the polls that that a last year
- 15:53Speaker 1: we talked about Oprah being more terrified than Gail King
- 15:56Speaker 1: was when she was shut into space. That question was
- 15:59Speaker 1: quite simple, would you be scared for your friends? Do
- 16:02Speaker 1: you get scared for your friends? Let's have a look.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Eighty seven percent said yes they do. I think I'd
- 16:08Speaker 1: be more worried. Donnie watching you get on a rocket
- 16:10Speaker 1: than get in on myself. I get really worried for
- 16:13Speaker 1: my friends. If you had to get up and do
- 16:15Speaker 1: a big speech, Donnie, I'd be in the audience cheering
- 16:18Speaker 1: you on, but I'd get a little nervous for you.
- 16:20Speaker 1: And so I totally get it. Naughties, once again, you
- 16:23Speaker 1: are right. Don't forget to vote on today's poul go
- 16:26Speaker 1: to a Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob At facebook
- 16:29Speaker 1: page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check back
- 16:31Speaker 1: TOI Maraur to hear your results. And now it's time
- 16:36Speaker 1: for a noisiest of the day. And I said that
- 16:41Speaker 1: it's Cape Middleton Boom and.
- 16:43Speaker 2: She has shared a rare but very personal reflection on
- 16:47Speaker 2: how she's found peace after you know, her cancer diagnosis,
- 16:51Speaker 2: and she's she's spiritually reconnected, and you know, she goes,
- 16:58Speaker 2: I've and now basically cure has kind of helped her,
- 17:02Speaker 2: you know, find peace and has been her sanctuary during recovery.
- 17:06Speaker 4: And she goes.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I find it very spiritual and very intense emotional reconnection.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I suppose like the environments. And you know what, and
- 17:16Speaker 2: I this is as nice of the day, So I'm
- 17:18Speaker 2: gonna keep it short and keep it. No, it's very
- 17:20Speaker 2: because we were I was talking about Prince Harry or
- 17:23Speaker 2: Kate has been a little more look over there lately,
- 17:29Speaker 2: been a little more out in the open than she
- 17:31Speaker 2: ever has been. Granted, she will be queen, probably a
- 17:35Speaker 2: lot sooner than we all even think. And remember we'll
- 17:38Speaker 2: think think she will be you know, you know King
