  [SPEAKER_00]: having a hell of a time and uh... voices a little gone we were allowed uh... the bank was rocking it was absolutely rocking happy birthday Trevor Lawrence not anymore of course but he did get the dub on his birthday jackwars beat the chiefs and come from behind fashion

  [SPEAKER_00]: 31 to 28 come back from a 14 point deficit, we're going to talk about it a little bit here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to celebrate the Jacksonville Jaguar's victory, do a little bit of analysis and of course we will dive much deeper into this game over the next couple of days and it's weird looking at the computer right now and it says Tuesday, October 7th obviously the game took place on Monday,

  [SPEAKER_00]: We will dive deeper into the game over the next couple days and then the jack wars are going to be hosting the Seattle Seahawks who come in as a pretty impressive opponent as well before they head over to London to host the Los Angeles ramps.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 3 and 0 at home, Kansas City Chiefs fall to 2 and 3.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I said before this game, this was not a must win for either team.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I do not believe it was a must win game, entering the game for either team.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Chiefs are still in a fine position.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jacksonville Jaguars are now a remain.

  [SPEAKER_00]: like microcosm of what the Jacksonville Jaguars have been and then like a metaphorical breaking of the mold of what the Jaguars have been in the past.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like you know because Jaguars you know the Jags are going to Jag, Jag and off all that stuff.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It looked like that could happen today when the Jag Wars fell down 14 to nothing against the Kansas City Chiefs, a team who had one two straight games, a team who beat the brakes off the Baltimore Ravens the week before a team who has had the Jag Wars number, the Jag Wars had not beaten the Kansas City Chiefs since 2009.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jag Wars had not won on Monday night football since 2011.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Beaton, the Houston Texans at home, they hadn't done that since 2017.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They have won on the road on the West Coast and in general, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: They were struggling to win games on the road in general, but they won on the West Coast even more difficult.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They beat the 49ers who they had lost five straight to.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, they have won on Monday night for both of the first times since 2011, beat the chiefs for the first time since 2009.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This is not the same old Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence's performance while not perfect, but I mean, really pretty damn good overall on his birthday.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The play of the game, the game winning play was a microcosm of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We have literally seen that same thing happen before and the Jaguars loose.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And somehow, some way the Kansas City Chiefs couldn't get a hold of them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And the Jaguars went up 31 to 28 after Camlittle's extra point.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, Camlittle did not miss a kick today.

  [SPEAKER_00]: One yard, Trevor Lawrence touchdown run, and then the chiefs, they had a couple of attempts trying to desperately get him to feel go range.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And as soon as it was 14 to 7, I was like, ah, you know, it's a ball game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They whistled the, um, the kind of wave at the beginning of the game and Liam Cohen talked about it after the game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, and I talked about this not being a must win game for either team, but I also said, I think it was a must win game for fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars and four fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars to get respect from the national media.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and if they did not earn respect from the national media getting to four and one on the season in 2025 taking down the Kansas City Chiefs a week after taking down the San Francisco 49ers and Santa Clara I don't know how you earn respect right yeah I wish you guys will be back

  [SPEAKER_00]: And the chiefs will be better down the stretch than they are right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars still had some crucial mistakes, but they played really good football overall.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You go from Kansas City Chiefs, potentially scoring a touchdown.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He had some teammates helping him out, but 97 yard touchdown.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Chiefs have 400-76 total yards in this game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the Chiefs were moving the ball, which is what I was going to talk about.

  [SPEAKER_00]: When, you know, 31 to 28 more points than I expected, the Chiefs were moving the ball at will at times throughout this game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: really most of the game they were just moving the ball up and down the field in a lot of it was short underneath stuff where the jag war is just were not in position they were over pursuing their over aggressive and I got to go back and watch to see more of exactly what the jag war is we're doing coverage wise but it felt like the chiefs were having a lot of action go one way hitting it back the other direction

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, back to the drawing board a little bit on the defensive side of the ball after this, but of course, it's the chiefs and it's like the same thing is last week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jacksonville Jaguars are still technically in second in the AFC South, they're tied for first, and they've got two games against the Colts, you know, they still got two games against the Titans as well and other against Texans.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Two straight wins for them over the Titans and the Ravens, two teams that are struggling, but don't tell the Arizona Cardinals the Tennessee Titans are struggling, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: This is just such a win to celebrate because of they faced adversity, 14 zero, on Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, they fought back, they hung with it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And the difference that was absolutely the pick six, but also just the fact that when the chief scored with, I think it was a minute, 45 left on the clock to go up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The completion to Travis Hunter down the field 44 yards, I do not know how he caught that football.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He himself had that 33 yard catch, which was just a brilliant throw by Trevor Lawrence.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And Trevor Lawrence, 18 of 25, 221 yards passing, 8.8 yards per attempt, the touchdown,

  [SPEAKER_00]: We'll go back and look at it, but, you know, to me, that looked like Should have been called and Trevor Lawrence was very diplomatic about it after the game didn't want to talk too much about it But, you know, the guy also had 10 carries for 54 yards and two big touchdowns.

  [SPEAKER_00]: do the touch push a little bit there and the jacks have not done that very often and Trevor just tried to go up and over and he couldn't quite get it in the chief defender knocked the ball out and the chief's got the ball of the three-yard line but valiant effort by Trevor Lawrence.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But also literally, literally, picking himself up off the mat on his birthday, his 26th birthday after falling down and then stumbling again and then scoring a touchdown.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There was too much space for these underneath receivers, for these screen passes, for these, you know, misdirection, play action, you know, throw it back across the field, type plays, the chiefs had that all night.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jacks can win in different ways, even against great football teams, like the Institute Chiefs, like San Francisco 49ers.
