Boil Water Advisory Hits Geary County | Wichita News
A boil water advisory is now in effect for a section of the Morris County RWD 1 system in Geary County, affecting areas north of the county line and west of Humboldt Creek Road. Triggered by a broken water line causing a pressure drop, the issue allows bacteria to enter the supply. Residents must boil water for at least one minute before drinking or cooking, or use bottled water. Also avoid fridge ice and disinfect dishes with bleach if not boiling.
