School lunches just got easier to access in Fayette County — applications for free and reduced-price meals open July 27 for the 2026-27 school year. Reapply yearly to keep benefits, and check FCPS.net/meals for the online form. Eligibility is based on household income — no benefits? You’ll pay full price. Automatic approval if you’re on SNAP, KTAP, Medicaid, or if your child is in foster care — you’ll get a letter, no extra steps.
