Over 554,000 Kobalt yard power tools are being recalled due to a fire hazard with their USB-C lithium-ion batteries—charging them while still in the tool can cause short circuits. Sold at Lowe’s between January and May 2026, affected models include trimmers, blowers, mowers, chainsaws, and more. If your battery has a USB-C port, it’s part of the recall.
