• 2:35
  Thanks
• 2:36
  so
• 2:36
  much,
• 2:36
  Eric.
• 2:36
  It's
• 2:36
  great
• 2:37
  to
• 2:37
  be
• 2:37
  here,
• 2:38
  man.
• 2:38
  You
• 2:38
  are
• 2:39
  providing
• 2:39
  a
• 2:40
  service
• 2:40
  out
• 2:41
  there
• 2:41
  for
• 2:41
  people.
• 2:42
  And
• 2:43
  as
• 2:43
  someone
• 2:44
  who
• 2:44
  has
• 2:44
  had
• 2:44
  a
• 2:44
  break
• 2:45
  in
• 2:45
  before
• 2:45
  and
• 2:45
  it
• 2:46
  was
• 2:46
  a
• 2:46
  lot
• 2:46
  of
• 2:46
  years
• 2:46
  ago
• 2:46
  and
• 2:47
  I
• 2:47
  lost
• 2:47
  all
• 2:47
  my
• 2:48
  tools
• 2:48
  except
• 2:48
  for
• 2:48
  my
• 2:49
  big
• 2:49
  heavy
• 2:49
  toolbox
• 2:50
  that
• 2:50
  clearly
• 2:50
  there
• 2:51
  wasn't
• 2:51
  enough
• 2:51
  people
• 2:51
  to
• 2:51
  haul
• 2:52
  it
• 2:52
  off.
• 2:52
  It
• 2:53
  was
• 2:53
  the
• 2:53
  only
• 2:53
  thing
• 2:53
  that
• 2:54
  got
• 2:54
  left.
• 2:54
  I've
• 2:55
  had
• 2:55
  a
• 2:55
  big
• 2:55
  loss
• 2:56
  and
• 2:56
  I
• 2:57
  wish
• 2:57
  I
• 2:57
  had
• 2:57
  taken
• 2:58
  better
• 2:59
  care
• 2:59
  of
• 2:59
  documenting
• 3:00
  what
• 3:00
  I
• 3:00
  had
• 3:01
  because,
• 3:01
  you
• 3:02
  know,
• 3:02
  months
• 3:02
  later
• 3:03
  I'm
• 3:03
  going
• 3:03
  for
• 3:03
  a
• 3:03
  tool
• 3:04
  and
• 3:04
  I'm
• 3:04
  like,
• 3:05
  I
• 3:05
  didn't
• 3:05
  replace
• 3:06
  it.
• 3:06
  Yep.
• 3:07
  Oh,
• 3:08
  yeah.
• 3:08
  No,
• 3:08
  that's
• 3:08
  always
• 3:09
  the
• 3:09
  case.
• 3:09
  Every
• 3:10
  person
• 3:10
  I've
• 3:10
  talked
• 3:11
  to
• 3:11
  that
• 3:11
  has
• 3:11
  had
• 3:12
  some
• 3:13
  kind
• 3:13
  of
• 3:13
  a
• 3:13
  major
• 3:13
  loss.
• 3:14
  It's
• 3:15
  the
• 3:15
  same
• 3:15
  story
• 3:15
  every
• 3:16
  time
• 3:16
  they
• 3:17
  didn't
• 3:17
  have
• 3:17
  an
• 3:17
  inventory,
• 3:18
  the
• 3:18
  settlement
• 3:19
  was
• 3:19
  really
• 3:19
  low,
• 3:20
  and
• 3:20
  they
• 3:20
  didn't
• 3:21
  put
• 3:21
  everything
• 3:21
  on
• 3:22
  the
• 3:22
  claim
• 3:22
  itself.
• 3:23
  So
• 3:23
  that
• 3:23
  when
• 3:24
  they
• 3:24
  went
• 3:24
  to
• 3:24
  replace
• 3:24
  things,
• 3:25
  you
• 3:25
  know,
• 3:25
  it's
• 3:26
  after
• 3:26
  the
• 3:26
  fact
• 3:26
  they're
• 3:26
  remembering,
• 3:27
  like,
• 3:27
  you,
• 3:28
  the
• 3:28
  tool
• 3:28
  or
• 3:28
  the
• 3:29
  pan
• 3:29
  or
• 3:29
  the
• 3:29
  artwork
• 3:30
  or
• 3:30
  whatever,
• 3:31
  it
• 3:31
  was
• 3:32
  something
• 3:32
  they
• 3:32
  forgot
• 3:33
  about
• 3:33
  and
• 3:33
  remembered
• 3:33
  when
• 3:34
  it's
• 3:34
  way
• 3:34
  too
• 3:34
  late.
• 3:35
  Yeah,
• 3:35
  I
• 3:35
  think
• 3:35
  I'm
• 3:35
  lucky
• 3:36
  because,
• 3:37
  you
• 3:37
  know,
• 3:37
  with
• 3:37
  my
• 3:37
  television
• 3:38
  show,
• 3:38
  I
• 3:38
  have
• 3:39
  documented
• 3:39
  about
• 3:40
  3/4
• 3:40
  of
• 3:40
  my
• 3:40
  house
• 3:41
  way
• 3:41
  too
• 3:41
  much
• 3:42
  as
• 3:42
  I'm
• 3:42
  doing
• 3:42
  projects
• 3:43
  around
• 3:43
  it.
• 3:43
  But
• 3:43
  it's
• 3:44
  the
• 3:44
  rare
• 3:44
  instance,
• 3:45
  right?
• 3:45
  I
• 3:45
  mean,
• 3:46
  nobody
• 3:46
  opens
• 3:46
  up
• 3:47
  the
• 3:47
  drawers.
• 3:47
  You
• 3:47
  know,
• 3:47
  you
• 3:48
  could
• 3:48
  even
• 3:48
  have
• 3:48
  a
• 3:48
  picture
• 3:48
  of
• 3:49
  your
• 3:49
  kitchen.
• 3:49
  But
• 3:50
  to
• 3:50
  go
• 3:50
  back
• 3:50
  and,
• 3:51
  you
• 3:51
  know,
• 3:51
  I
• 3:52
  can't
• 3:52
  go
• 3:52
  back
• 3:52
  and
• 3:52
  say
• 3:53
  what
• 3:53
  was
• 3:53
  in
• 3:53
  the
• 3:54
  third
• 3:54
  drawer
• 3:54
  down
• 3:55
  to
• 3:55
  the
• 3:55
  left?
• 3:55
  Exactly.
• 3:56
  Perfect
• 3:57
  inventory.
• 3:57
  I'm
• 3:57
  sorry,
• 3:57
  you
• 3:58
  can't?
• 3:59
  No.
• 3:59
  And
• 3:59
  that's
• 3:59
  really
• 4:00
  the
• 4:00
  case.
• 4:00
  It
• 4:00
  is
• 4:00
  with
• 4:01
  everybody.
• 4:02
  And
• 4:02
  the
• 4:03
  thing
• 4:03
  is,
• 4:03
  is
• 4:03
  that
• 4:04
  it's
• 4:04
  key
• 4:04
  to
• 4:05
  have
• 4:05
  that.
• 4:05
  And
• 4:05
  the
• 4:05
  reason
• 4:06
  is
• 4:07
  when
• 4:07
  it
• 4:07
  comes
• 4:07
  to
• 4:07
  your
• 4:08
  insurance
• 4:08
  and
• 4:08
  90%,
• 4:09
  I
• 4:09
  believe,
• 4:09
  at
• 4:10
  least
• 4:10
  of
• 4:10
  the
• 4:10
  policies
• 4:11
  out
• 4:11
  there
• 4:11
  are
• 4:11
  replacement
• 4:12
  cost.
• 4:13
  To
• 4:13
  get
• 4:13
  that
• 4:14
  replacement
• 4:14
  cost,
• 4:14
  you
• 4:14
  have
• 4:15
  to
• 4:15
  prove
• 4:15
  what
• 4:15
  you
• 4:16
  had,
• 4:16
  and
• 4:17
  that's
• 4:17
  proof
• 4:17
  of
• 4:18
  possession,
• 4:18
  quality
• 4:19
  and
• 4:19
  condition.
• 4:20
  The
• 4:20
  only
• 4:21
  way
• 4:21
  to
• 4:21
  do
• 4:21
  that
• 4:21
  is
• 4:22
  with
• 4:22
  a
• 4:22
  visible
• 4:23
  record
• 4:23
  of
• 4:23
  it,
• 4:24
  photographs,
• 4:24
  video,
• 4:25
  etc.
• 4:26
  But
• 4:26
  you
• 4:27
  also
• 4:27
  need
• 4:27
  brands,
• 4:28
  model
• 4:28
  numbers,
• 4:28
  and
• 4:29
  all
• 4:29
  that
• 4:29
  stuff.
• 4:30
  Yeah,
• 4:30
  that
• 4:30
  is
• 4:31
  great.
• 4:31
  So
• 4:31
  how
• 4:31
  does
• 4:31
  this
• 4:31
  work
• 4:32
  with
• 4:32
  you
• 4:32
  as
• 4:32
  you
• 4:32
  go
• 4:32
  around?
• 4:33
  I
• 4:33
  mean,
• 4:33
  you
• 4:33
  guys
• 4:34
  have
• 4:34
  a
• 4:34
  great
• 4:34
  service
• 4:35
  that
• 4:35
  you
• 4:35
  do
• 4:35
  around
• 4:35
  the
• 4:35
  country,
• 4:36
  and
• 4:36
  I
• 4:36
  think
• 4:37
  that's
• 4:37
  super
• 4:37
  cool.
• 4:38
  How
• 4:38
  does
• 4:38
  this
• 4:39
  work?
• 4:39
  So
• 4:40
  what
• 4:40
  I
• 4:41
  do
• 4:41
  is
• 4:41
  I
• 4:42
  combine
• 4:43
  3D
• 4:43
  imagery
• 4:45
  and.
• 4:45
  And
• 4:46
  photography
• 4:46
  to
• 4:46
  create
• 4:47
  a
• 4:47
  complete
• 4:48
  digital
• 4:48
  copy
• 4:48
  of
• 4:49
  a
• 4:49
  home
• 4:49
  and
• 4:49
  its
• 4:49
  contents.
• 4:50
  So
• 4:51
  we've
• 4:51
  seen
• 4:51
  the
• 4:52
  3D
• 4:52
  virtual
• 4:53
  tours
• 4:53
  that
• 4:54
  realtors
• 4:54
  use
• 4:54
  to
• 4:54
  show
• 4:55
  houses.
• 4:55
  Same
• 4:56
  technology.
• 4:57
  I
• 4:57
  only
• 4:57
  take
• 4:57
  it
• 4:58
  a
• 4:58
  lot
• 4:58
  further.
• 4:59
  So
• 4:59
  I
• 4:59
  start
• 4:59
  with
• 5:00
  a
• 5:00
  3D
• 5:00
  scan
• 5:00
  of
• 5:01
  the
• 5:01
  entire
• 5:01
  house.
• 5:02
  Then
• 5:03
  I
• 5:03
  go
• 5:03
  back
• 5:03
  through
• 5:04
  the
• 5:04
  entire
• 5:04
  house
• 5:05
  and
• 5:05
  photograph
• 5:05
  the
• 5:06
  contents
• 5:06
  of
• 5:06
  every
• 5:07
  cabinet,
• 5:07
  closet,
• 5:08
  drawer.
• 5:09
  I
• 5:09
  will
• 5:09
  go
• 5:09
  into
• 5:11
  getting
• 5:11
  the
• 5:12
  serial
• 5:12
  numbers
• 5:12
  and
• 5:12
  model
• 5:13
  numbers
• 5:13
  for
• 5:13
  appliances,
• 5:14
  H
• 5:14
  vac,
• 5:15
  anything
• 5:15
  of
• 5:16
  value.
• 5:16
  And
• 5:17
  if
• 5:17
  the
• 5:17
  client
• 5:17
  has
• 5:18
  artwork
• 5:18
  and
• 5:18
  stuff
• 5:18
  that
• 5:19
  needs
• 5:19
  to
• 5:19
  be
• 5:20
  more
• 5:21
  fully
• 5:21
  documented,
• 5:22
  I
• 5:22
  can
• 5:22
  do
• 5:22
  all
• 5:22
  that.
• 5:23
  Whether
• 5:23
  it's
• 5:23
  signatures
• 5:24
  for
• 5:25
  jewelry,
• 5:25
  maker's
• 5:26
  marks,
• 5:26
  all
• 5:26
  that
• 5:26
  stuff
• 5:27
  that
• 5:27
  matters,
• 5:28
  that's
• 5:28
  all
• 5:28
  combined.
• 5:29
  All
• 5:30
  that
• 5:30
  information
• 5:30
  is
• 5:31
  then
• 5:31
  embedded
• 5:31
  back
• 5:32
  into
• 5:32
  the
• 5:32
  3D
• 5:33
  virtual
• 5:33
  tour.
• 5:33
  So
• 5:34
  as
• 5:34
  you're
• 5:34
  going
• 5:34
  through
• 5:34
  the
• 5:34
  house,
• 5:35
  like
• 5:35
  you
• 5:35
  walk
• 5:35
  through
• 5:35
  with
• 5:35
  the
• 5:36
  realtor,
• 5:36
  in
• 5:37
  my
• 5:37
  case,
• 5:37
  you
• 5:37
  can
• 5:37
  click
• 5:38
  on
• 5:38
  a
• 5:38
  cabinet
• 5:38
  and
• 5:39
  it'll
• 5:39
  show
• 5:39
  you
• 5:39
  a
• 5:39
  gallery
• 5:40
  of
• 5:40
  what's
• 5:40
  in
• 5:40
  cabinet
• 5:41
  or
• 5:41
  drawer
• 5:41
  or
• 5:42
  closet.
• 5:43
  Nice.
• 5:44
  That
• 5:44
  is
• 5:44
  cool.
• 5:44
  And,
• 5:45
  and
• 5:45
  it
• 5:45
  comes
• 5:45
  down
• 5:45
  to
• 5:46
  art.
• 5:46
  It's
• 5:46
  an
• 5:46
  interesting
• 5:46
  one
• 5:47
  because,
• 5:47
  you
• 5:47
  know,
• 5:47
  you
• 5:47
  can
• 5:47
  go
• 5:48
  through
• 5:48
  and
• 5:48
  snap
• 5:48
  a
• 5:48
  quick
• 5:49
  picture.
• 5:49
  But
• 5:50
  if
• 5:50
  it's
• 5:50
  a,
• 5:51
  if
• 5:51
  it's
• 5:51
  a
• 5:51
  print
• 5:52
  or
• 5:52
  it's
• 5:52
  a
• 5:52
  lithograph,
• 5:53
  or
• 5:53
  it's
• 5:53
  an
• 5:54
  actual
• 5:54
  canvas
• 5:55
  painting
• 5:55
  that
• 5:55
  was
• 5:56
  a
• 5:56
  limited
• 5:56
  edition
• 5:56
  that
• 5:56
  you
• 5:57
  bought
• 5:57
  at
• 5:57
  a
• 5:57
  gallery,
• 5:57
  many
• 5:58
  times,
• 5:58
  there's
• 5:58
  a
• 5:58
  certificate,
• 5:59
  proof
• 5:59
  of
• 6:00
  authenticity
• 6:01
  that
• 6:01
  maybe
• 6:01
  is
• 6:01
  on
• 6:01
  the
• 6:01
  back
• 6:02
  of
• 6:02
  it
• 6:02
  or
• 6:02
  a
• 6:02
  separate
• 6:02
  thing.
• 6:03
  You
• 6:03
  need
• 6:03
  to
• 6:04
  keep
• 6:04
  all
• 6:04
  that
• 6:04
  stuff
• 6:05
  so
• 6:05
  you
• 6:05
  can
• 6:06
  prove
• 6:06
  that.
• 6:06
  Yeah,
• 6:06
  this
• 6:06
  isn't
• 6:07
  just
• 6:07
  something
• 6:07
  that
• 6:07
  I
• 6:07
  bought,
• 6:08
  you
• 6:08
  know,
• 6:09
  from
• 6:09
  a
• 6:09
  street
• 6:09
  vendor
• 6:09
  someplace.
• 6:10
  This
• 6:10
  is
• 6:10
  actually
• 6:10
  the
• 6:11
  real
• 6:11
  deal.
• 6:12
  Exactly.
• 6:12
  And
• 6:13
  I'm,
• 6:13
  I'm
• 6:13
  surprised
• 6:14
  at
• 6:14
  how
• 6:14
  many
• 6:14
  times
• 6:15
  people
• 6:15
  have
• 6:15
  collectibles
• 6:16
  like
• 6:16
  that.
• 6:16
  Art,
• 6:17
  antiques,
• 6:17
  et
• 6:17
  cetera.
• 6:18
  All
• 6:19
  of
• 6:19
  those
• 6:19
  do
• 6:19
  require
• 6:20
  a
• 6:20
  separate
• 6:21
  insurance
• 6:21
  policy.
• 6:22
  The.
• 6:22
  There's
• 6:23
  limitations
• 6:23
  on
• 6:23
  your
• 6:24
  home
• 6:24
  insurance
• 6:24
  on
• 6:24
  art
• 6:25
  and
• 6:25
  those
• 6:25
  things,
• 6:26
  so
• 6:26
  they
• 6:26
  need
• 6:26
  a
• 6:26
  separate
• 6:27
  policy.
• 6:27
  And
• 6:27
  just
• 6:27
  how
• 6:27
  many
• 6:28
  people
• 6:28
  have
• 6:28
  not
• 6:28
  gone
• 6:29
  to
• 6:29
  that
• 6:29
  point
• 6:30
  and,
• 6:30
  and
• 6:31
  done
• 6:31
  that
• 6:31
  documentation
• 6:32
  is
• 6:32
  surprising
• 6:32
  because
• 6:33
  there
• 6:33
  is
• 6:33
  a
• 6:33
  lot
• 6:33
  of
• 6:34
  value
• 6:34
  in
• 6:34
  there.
• 6:35
  And
• 6:35
  one
• 6:35
  key
• 6:36
  thing
• 6:36
  to
• 6:36
  consider
• 6:37
  when
• 6:38
  it
• 6:38
  comes
• 6:38
  to
• 6:39
  an
• 6:39
  insurance
• 6:39
  claim,
• 6:40
  the
• 6:40
  idea
• 6:41
  is
• 6:41
  not
• 6:41
  to
• 6:42
  replace
• 6:42
  your
• 6:42
  stuff.
• 6:43
  The
• 6:43
  idea
• 6:44
  is
• 6:44
  to
• 6:44
  recover
• 6:45
  at
• 6:45
  the
• 6:45
  lifestyle
• 6:46
  you
• 6:46
  had
• 6:47
  before
• 6:47
  the
• 6:47
  loss.
• 6:48
  And
• 6:48
  the
• 6:48
  only
• 6:49
  way
• 6:49
  to
• 6:49
  do
• 6:49
  that
• 6:49
  is
• 6:50
  to
• 6:50
  have
• 6:50
  the
• 6:50
  proof.
• 6:51
  You
• 6:52
  know,
• 6:52
  with
• 6:52
  my
• 6:52
  house,
• 6:52
  it's
• 6:53
  been
• 6:53
  very
• 6:53
  interesting
• 6:53
  and
• 6:54
  I've
• 6:54
  had,
• 6:54
  I've
• 6:54
  got
• 6:55
  a
• 6:55
  great,
• 6:55
  a
• 6:56
  great
• 6:56
  agent
• 6:57
  who's
• 6:57
  a
• 6:57
  buddy
• 6:57
  of
• 6:57
  mine
• 6:58
  that
• 6:58
  I
• 6:58
  used
• 6:58
  to
• 6:59
  work
• 6:59
  with.
• 6:59
  So
• 6:59
  it's
• 6:59
  great.
• 7:00
  But
• 7:01
  I
• 7:01
  sat
• 7:01
  down
• 7:02
  when
• 7:02
  I
• 7:02
  changed
• 7:02
  policies
• 7:03
  on
• 7:03
  my
• 7:03
  home
• 7:03
  a
• 7:03
  few
• 7:03
  years
• 7:04
  ago
• 7:04
  and
• 7:04
  I
• 7:04
  looked
• 7:04
  at
• 7:04
  it,
• 7:05
  I'm
• 7:05
  like,
• 7:06
  oh
• 7:06
  my
• 7:06
  gosh.
• 7:07
  I
• 7:07
  did
• 7:07
  this
• 7:07
  online.
• 7:08
  I
• 7:08
  didn't
• 7:08
  talk
• 7:09
  to
• 7:09
  anybody.
• 7:10
  I
• 7:10
  went
• 7:10
  on
• 7:10
  to,
• 7:10
  we're
• 7:11
  not
• 7:11
  going
• 7:11
  to
• 7:11
  name
• 7:11
  name
• 7:11
  brands
• 7:11
  here.
• 7:12
  But
• 7:12
  I
• 7:12
  jumped
• 7:12
  online,
• 7:12
  filled
• 7:13
  out
• 7:13
  a
• 7:13
  policy,
• 7:13
  went
• 7:14
  cool,
• 7:14
  got
• 7:14
  my
• 7:14
  homeowner's
• 7:15
  policy
• 7:15
  ready
• 7:16
  to
• 7:16
  go.
• 7:17
  Then
• 7:17
  I
• 7:17
  started
• 7:17
  thinking,
• 7:18
  well,
• 7:18
  wait
• 7:18
  a
• 7:18
  minute,
• 7:18
  I've
• 7:19
  done
• 7:19
  all
• 7:19
  these
• 7:19
  remodels
• 7:20
  and
• 7:20
  things
• 7:20
  since
• 7:21
  then.
• 7:22
  And
• 7:23
  we
• 7:23
  had
• 7:23
  to
• 7:23
  really
• 7:23
  go
• 7:24
  back
• 7:24
  to
• 7:24
  the
• 7:24
  insurance
• 7:25
  company
• 7:25
  and
• 7:26
  say,
• 7:27
  even
• 7:27
  though
• 7:27
  that
• 7:27
  I'm
• 7:28
  maxed
• 7:28
  out
• 7:28
  on
• 7:28
  what
• 7:28
  I
• 7:28
  could
• 7:29
  put
• 7:29
  on
• 7:29
  my
• 7:29
  house,
• 7:30
  do
• 7:30
  you
• 7:31
  realize
• 7:31
  I
• 7:31
  can't
• 7:31
  do
• 7:32
  it
• 7:32
  for
• 7:32
  what
• 7:32
  you're
• 7:32
  trying
• 7:32
  to
• 7:33
  do?
• 7:33
  I
• 7:33
  don't
• 7:33
  have
• 7:34
  this
• 7:34
  big
• 7:34
  extravagant
• 7:35
  mansion.
• 7:35
  I
• 7:35
  mean,
• 7:35
  this
• 7:35
  house
• 7:36
  is
• 7:37
  1300
• 7:37
  square
• 7:38
  feet.
• 7:38
  It's
• 7:38
  not
• 7:39
  big,
• 7:39
  but
• 7:40
  I've
• 7:40
  got
• 7:40
  higher
• 7:40
  quality
• 7:41
  stuff
• 7:41
  in
• 7:41
  there.
• 7:42
  And
• 7:42
  doing
• 7:42
  the
• 7:42
  mental
• 7:42
  math,
• 7:43
  I'm
• 7:43
  like,
• 7:44
  even
• 7:44
  at
• 7:44
  what
• 7:44
  that
• 7:45
  company
• 7:45
  was
• 7:46
  going
• 7:46
  to
• 7:46
  do
• 7:46
  wasn't
• 7:47
  going
• 7:47
  to
• 7:47
  get
• 7:47
  me
• 7:48
  back
• 7:48
  into
• 7:48
  the
• 7:48
  same
• 7:48
  lifestyle
• 7:49
  and
• 7:49
  the
• 7:49
  same
• 7:50
  things
• 7:50
  that
• 7:50
  I'd
• 7:50
  put
• 7:50
  In
• 7:50
  there?
• 7:51
  No.
• 7:52
  And
• 7:52
  that
• 7:53
  you
• 7:53
  bring
• 7:53
  up
• 7:53
  a
• 7:54
  point,
• 7:54
  which
• 7:54
  is
• 7:55
  really
• 7:55
  critical,
• 7:56
  and
• 7:56
  that
• 7:56
  is
• 7:57
  with
• 7:57
  a
• 7:57
  claim,
• 7:57
  you're
• 7:58
  not
• 7:58
  just
• 7:58
  replacing
• 7:59
  possessions.
• 8:00
  It's
• 8:00
  the
• 8:00
  house,
• 8:01
  the
• 8:01
  structure.
• 8:02
  And
• 8:02
  it's
• 8:03
  really
• 8:03
  vital
• 8:03
  to
• 8:04
  capture
• 8:05
  the
• 8:05
  fixtures
• 8:06
  and
• 8:07
  finishes
• 8:07
  that
• 8:08
  are
• 8:08
  in
• 8:08
  the.
• 8:08
  In
• 8:08
  the
• 8:09
  house.
• 8:10
  Because
• 8:10
  there's
• 8:11
  so
• 8:11
  much
• 8:11
  money
• 8:11
  involved
• 8:12
  in
• 8:12
  that.
• 8:12
  That's
• 8:12
  why,
• 8:13
  with
• 8:13
  what
• 8:13
  I
• 8:14
  do,
• 8:14
  because
• 8:14
  it
• 8:14
  captures
• 8:15
  everything.
• 8:15
  Ceilings,
• 8:16
  floors,
• 8:16
  you
• 8:17
  name
• 8:17
  it.
• 8:17
  It
• 8:18
  shows
• 8:18
  the.
• 8:19
  The
• 8:20
  quality
• 8:20
  of
• 8:20
  the
• 8:20
  build
• 8:21
  of
• 8:21
  the
• 8:21
  house.
• 8:21
  And
• 8:21
  in
• 8:21
  addition
• 8:22
  to
• 8:22
  that,
• 8:22
  the
• 8:22
  advantage
• 8:23
  of
• 8:23
  the
• 8:23
  3D
• 8:24
  is
• 8:24
  so
• 8:25
  it
• 8:25
  builds
• 8:26
  what
• 8:26
  it
• 8:26
  calls
• 8:26
  a
• 8:26
  point
• 8:27
  cloud,
• 8:27
  which
• 8:27
  is
• 8:27
  how
• 8:27
  it
• 8:28
  defines
• 8:28
  this
• 8:28
  3D
• 8:29
  space.
• 8:30
  You
• 8:30
  can
• 8:30
  take.
• 8:31
  We
• 8:31
  can
• 8:31
  take
• 8:32
  and
• 8:32
  export
• 8:33
  that
• 8:33
  point
• 8:34
  cloud
• 8:34
  and
• 8:34
  give
• 8:34
  it
• 8:35
  to
• 8:35
  an
• 8:35
  architect
• 8:36
  so
• 8:36
  that
• 8:36
  if
• 8:36
  you
• 8:37
  have
• 8:37
  a
• 8:37
  loss,
• 8:38
  we
• 8:38
  can
• 8:38
  give
• 8:39
  your.
• 8:39
  This
• 8:39
  to
• 8:39
  the
• 8:40
  architect.
• 8:40
  You
• 8:41
  have
• 8:41
  97%
• 8:42
  accurate
• 8:43
  plans
• 8:44
  to
• 8:44
  start
• 8:45
  with,
• 8:45
  and
• 8:45
  the
• 8:45
  architect
• 8:46
  can
• 8:46
  then
• 8:46
  just
• 8:46
  tweak
• 8:47
  it.
• 8:48
  That
• 8:48
  is
• 8:48
  so
• 8:48
  brilliant.
• 8:49
  Because,
• 8:49
  you
• 8:49
  know,
• 8:50
  think
• 8:50
  about
• 8:50
  a
• 8:50
  kitchen,
• 8:50
  right?
• 8:50
  Let's
• 8:51
  say
• 8:51
  you
• 8:51
  just
• 8:51
  got
• 8:51
  done
• 8:52
  through
• 8:52
  a
• 8:52
  kitchen
• 8:52
  remodel,
• 8:52
  and
• 8:53
  maybe
• 8:53
  you
• 8:53
  have
• 8:53
  a.
• 8:54
  A
• 8:54
  kitchen
• 8:54
  fire
• 8:55
  that
• 8:55
  completely
• 8:56
  totals
• 8:56
  that
• 8:56
  space
• 8:56
  is
• 8:57
  a
• 8:57
  great
• 8:57
  example.
• 8:58
  And,
• 8:59
  you
• 8:59
  know,
• 8:59
  insurance
• 9:00
  company
• 9:00
  goes,
• 9:00
  cool.
• 9:00
  Kitchen
• 9:01
  faucet.
• 9:02
  Kitchen
• 9:02
  faucet
• 9:03
  could
• 9:03
  be
• 9:03
  something
• 9:03
  that's
• 9:04
  $50
• 9:04
  on
• 9:05
  Amazon.com
• 9:06
  or
• 9:07
  it
• 9:07
  could
• 9:07
  be
• 9:07
  $11,000
• 9:09
  through
• 9:10
  Waterstone.
• 9:11
  Yes.
• 9:11
  And
• 9:11
  there's
• 9:12
  a
• 9:12
  big
• 9:12
  difference
• 9:12
  in
• 9:13
  between
• 9:13
  those.
• 9:14
  And
• 9:14
  so
• 9:14
  if
• 9:14
  you
• 9:14
  don't
• 9:15
  have
• 9:15
  that
• 9:15
  stuff
• 9:15
  documented,
• 9:16
  you
• 9:16
  go,
• 9:17
  well,
• 9:17
  really,
• 9:17
  it
• 9:17
  was
• 9:18
  this.
• 9:19
  There's
• 9:19
  a
• 9:19
  big
• 9:19
  difference
• 9:20
  there.
• 9:20
  And
• 9:20
  that
• 9:20
  could
• 9:20
  be
• 9:20
  an
• 9:21
  incredible
• 9:21
  hit
• 9:22
  as
• 9:22
  far
• 9:22
  as
• 9:22
  the
• 9:23
  quality
• 9:23
  that
• 9:23
  you're
• 9:23
  trying
• 9:23
  to
• 9:24
  put
• 9:24
  back
• 9:24
  into
• 9:24
  that.
• 9:25
  Exactly.
• 9:25
  And
• 9:26
  that's
• 9:26
  why,
• 9:26
  whether
• 9:26
  you
• 9:27
  are
• 9:27
  hiring
• 9:27
  a
• 9:28
  contractor
• 9:28
  to
• 9:28
  do
• 9:28
  this
• 9:29
  work
• 9:29
  for
• 9:29
  you
• 9:29
  or
• 9:30
  you're
• 9:30
  doing
• 9:30
  it
• 9:30
  yourself,
• 9:31
  because,
• 9:31
  well,
• 9:32
  I'm
• 9:32
  not
• 9:32
  that
• 9:32
  guy,
• 9:33
  but
• 9:33
  I
• 9:33
  know
• 9:33
  lots
• 9:34
  of
• 9:34
  really
• 9:34
  skilled
• 9:35
  people
• 9:35
  who
• 9:35
  do
• 9:35
  a
• 9:35
  lot
• 9:35
  of
• 9:36
  work
• 9:36
  on
• 9:36
  their
• 9:36
  house.
• 9:37
  And
• 9:37
  it's
• 9:38
  vital
• 9:38
  to
• 9:39
  a
• 9:39
  document
• 9:40
  what
• 9:40
  you
• 9:40
  did.
• 9:41
  So
• 9:41
  show
• 9:41
  up
• 9:41
  before
• 9:41
  and
• 9:42
  after,
• 9:42
  just
• 9:42
  take
• 9:42
  some
• 9:42
  quick
• 9:43
  photos
• 9:43
  with
• 9:43
  your
• 9:44
  camera,
• 9:45
  with
• 9:45
  your
• 9:45
  phone,
• 9:46
  but
• 9:46
  also
• 9:47
  save
• 9:47
  all
• 9:47
  of
• 9:47
  those
• 9:48
  receipts.
• 9:48
  The
• 9:48
  receipts,
• 9:49
  I
• 9:49
  cannot
• 9:49
  tell
• 9:50
  you
• 9:50
  how
• 9:50
  important
• 9:50
  they
• 9:50
  are.
• 9:51
  And
• 9:51
  I
• 9:51
  am
• 9:52
  just
• 9:52
  as
• 9:52
  guilty
• 9:52
  as
• 9:53
  everybody
• 9:53
  else.
• 9:53
  Before
• 9:54
  I
• 9:54
  came
• 9:54
  up
• 9:54
  with
• 9:55
  developing
• 9:55
  this
• 9:56
  company,
• 9:56
  I
• 9:57
  did
• 9:57
  not
• 9:57
  have
• 9:57
  an
• 9:57
  OEM
• 9:58
  inventory.
• 9:58
  I
• 9:58
  did
• 9:58
  not
• 9:59
  save
• 9:59
  receipts.
• 9:59
  I'm
• 10:00
  just
• 10:00
  as
• 10:00
  guilty.
• 10:01
  My
• 10:01
  first
• 10:02
  home
• 10:02
  inventory
• 10:02
  was
• 10:02
  my
• 10:03
  first
• 10:03
  prototype.
• 10:04
  But
• 10:05
  now,
• 10:05
  yeah,
• 10:06
  now
• 10:07
  everything
• 10:08
  is
• 10:08
  documented
• 10:09
  and
• 10:09
  saved.
• 10:10
  And
• 10:10
  it's
• 10:10
  so
• 10:10
  important.
• 10:11
  It
• 10:11
  really
• 10:12
  is.
• 10:12
  And,
• 10:12
  you
• 10:13
  know,
• 10:13
  with.
• 10:13
  With
• 10:13
  cloud
• 10:14
  storage
• 10:14
  and
• 10:14
  things
• 10:14
  like
• 10:15
  that
• 10:15
  these
• 10:15
  days,
• 10:15
  it's
• 10:16
  so.
• 10:16
  It's
• 10:16
  so
• 10:16
  easy
• 10:17
  to
• 10:17
  put
• 10:17
  it
• 10:17
  in
• 10:17
  multiple
• 10:18
  places.
• 10:18
  So
• 10:18
  you
• 10:18
  have
• 10:18
  that.
• 11:41
  Not
• 11:41
  only
• 11:41
  maybe
• 11:42
  do
• 11:42
  you
• 11:42
  have
• 11:42
  a
• 11:42
  copy
• 11:42
  and
• 11:43
  a
• 11:43
  Safe,
• 11:43
  but
• 11:43
  you
• 11:43
  can
• 11:43
  have
• 11:44
  it
• 11:44
  up
• 11:44
  in
• 11:44
  the
• 11:44
  cloud
• 11:44
  and
• 11:44
  it's
• 11:45
  going
• 11:45
  to
• 11:45
  be
• 11:45
  there
• 10:23
  forever.
• 11:46
  Exactly.
• 11:47
  And
• 11:47
  my
• 11:47
  system
• 11:48
  or
• 11:48
  my
• 11:48
  service
• 11:48
  is
• 11:49
  cloud
• 11:49
  based.
• 11:50
  You
• 11:50
  access
• 11:50
  it
• 11:51
  from
• 11:51
  any
• 11:51
  device.
• 11:52
  So
• 11:52
  your
• 11:53
  phone,
• 11:53
  your
• 11:54
  tablet,
• 11:54
  computer.
• 11:55
  Now
• 11:55
  if
• 11:55
  you
• 11:56
  lost
• 11:56
  all
• 11:56
  those
• 11:57
  in
• 11:57
  the
• 11:57
  fire,
• 11:58
  all
• 11:58
  you
• 11:59
  have
• 11:59
  to
• 11:59
  do
• 11:59
  is
• 11:59
  get
• 11:59
  access
• 12:00
  to
• 12:00
  a
• 12:00
  device
• 12:01
  to
• 12:01
  get
• 12:01
  to
• 12:01
  it.
• 12:01
  And
• 12:02
  you
• 12:02
  bring
• 12:02
  up
• 12:02
  the
• 12:02
  key
• 12:02
  point
• 12:03
  of
• 12:03
  backing
• 12:03
  it
• 12:03
  up
• 12:03
  in
• 12:03
  the
• 12:03
  cloud.
• 12:04
  One
• 12:05
  example
• 12:05
  was
• 12:06
  friends
• 12:06
  who
• 12:06
  went
• 12:06
  through
• 12:07
  a
• 12:07
  personal
• 12:07
  loss
• 12:08
  out
• 12:08
  in
• 12:08
  Bend.
• 12:10
  They
• 12:10
  literally
• 12:10
  woke
• 12:11
  up
• 12:11
  in
• 12:11
  the
• 12:11
  middle
• 12:11
  of
• 12:11
  the
• 12:11
  night,
• 12:13
  house
• 12:13
  totally
• 12:13
  engulfed
• 12:14
  in
• 12:14
  flames.
• 12:15
  All
• 12:15
  they
• 12:16
  had
• 12:16
  time
• 12:16
  to
• 12:16
  do
• 12:16
  was
• 12:17
  run
• 12:17
  out
• 12:17
  the
• 12:17
  door.
• 12:18
  Wallets,
• 12:18
  phones,
• 12:19
  everything
• 12:19
  was
• 12:19
  left
• 12:19
  behind.
• 12:20
  And
• 12:21
  what
• 12:21
  was
• 12:21
  left
• 12:22
  was
• 12:22
  a
• 12:22
  few
• 12:23
  half
• 12:23
  walls
• 12:23
  standing
• 12:24
  and
• 12:24
  a
• 12:24
  pile
• 12:24
  of
• 12:24
  ashes.
• 12:25
  Yeah,
• 12:26
  they
• 12:26
  didn't
• 12:27
  have
• 12:27
  an
• 12:27
  inventory
• 12:28
  and
• 12:28
  it
• 12:28
  was
• 12:28
  really
• 12:29
  turned
• 12:29
  into
• 12:29
  a
• 12:29
  bad
• 12:29
  scenario
• 12:30
  for
• 12:30
  them.
• 12:30
  But
• 12:30
  the
• 12:31
  point
• 12:31
  is,
• 12:31
  is
• 12:31
  that
• 12:32
  you,
• 12:32
  if
• 12:32
  you
• 12:32
  don't
• 12:33
  put
• 12:33
  it
• 12:33
  in
• 12:33
  the
• 12:33
  cloud,
• 12:33
  you
• 12:34
  can
• 12:34
  lose
• 12:34
  your
• 12:34
  inventory
• 12:35
  if
• 12:35
  it's
• 12:36
  in
• 12:36
  the
• 12:36
  house
• 12:36
  as
• 12:37
  it
• 12:37
  burns
• 12:37
  or
• 12:37
  is
• 12:37
  lost
• 12:38
  in
• 12:38
  a
• 12:38
  fire,
• 12:39
  earthquake,
• 12:39
  flood,
• 12:40
  whatever.
• 12:40
  Yeah,
• 12:40
  that,
• 12:41
  that
• 12:41
  makes
• 12:41
  a
• 12:41
  great
• 12:41
  point.
• 12:42
  And
• 12:42
  that's
• 12:42
  one
• 12:42
  of
• 12:42
  the
• 12:42
  things
• 12:42
  I
• 12:43
  want
• 12:43
  to
• 12:43
  bring
• 12:43
  on
• 12:43
  just
• 12:43
  as
• 12:44
  a,
• 12:44
  is
• 12:44
  a
• 12:45
  side
• 12:45
  discussion
• 12:45
  here
• 12:46
  that
• 12:47
  everybody
• 12:47
  out
• 12:47
  there,
• 12:48
  you
• 12:48
  know,
• 12:49
  tuning
• 12:49
  into
• 12:49
  this
• 12:49
  show
• 12:50
  right
• 12:50
  now,
• 12:50
  that's
• 12:50
  listening
• 12:51
  in.
• 12:51
  I
• 12:51
  want
• 12:52
  to
• 12:52
  make
• 12:52
  sure
• 12:52
  that
• 12:52
  you
• 12:52
  understand
• 12:53
  that
• 12:53
  you
• 12:54
  can
• 12:54
  have
• 12:54
  all
• 12:54
  the
• 12:54
  best
• 12:55
  inventory.
• 12:55
  But
• 12:55
  if
• 12:55
  you
• 12:56
  haven't
• 12:56
  taken
• 12:56
  that
• 12:57
  time
• 12:57
  to
• 12:58
  work
• 12:58
  with
• 12:58
  your
• 12:58
  agent
• 12:59
  and
• 12:59
  have
• 12:59
  the
• 12:59
  discussion
• 13:00
  of
• 13:00
  what
• 13:00
  you
• 13:00
  got,
• 13:01
  I
• 13:01
  mean,
• 13:02
  great
• 13:02
  example.
• 13:02
  I
• 13:03
  have
• 13:03
  a
• 13:03
  really.
• 13:03
  One
• 13:03
  of
• 13:04
  my
• 13:04
  best
• 13:04
  friends
• 13:05
  had
• 13:05
  a
• 13:05
  cabin
• 13:06
  up
• 13:06
  here
• 13:07
  on
• 13:07
  Mount
• 13:08
  Hood.
• 13:08
  And
• 13:08
  it
• 13:08
  was
• 13:09
  one
• 13:09
  of
• 13:09
  those
• 13:09
  cabins
• 13:10
  that
• 13:10
  had
• 13:10
  the
• 13:10
  100
• 13:10
  year
• 13:11
  lease,
• 13:11
  you
• 13:11
  know,
• 13:11
  but
• 13:12
  on
• 13:12
  the
• 13:12
  government
• 13:13
  land
• 13:13
  up
• 13:13
  there,
• 13:13
  the
• 13:13
  forest
• 13:14
  service
• 13:14
  land,
• 13:15
  beautiful
• 13:16
  50s
• 13:17
  style
• 13:17
  cabin,
• 13:18
  you
• 13:18
  know,
• 13:18
  wood
• 13:18
  plank
• 13:19
  walls,
• 13:19
  gorgeous.
• 13:20
  Well,
• 13:20
  when
• 13:21
  I
• 13:21
  had
• 13:21
  the
• 13:21
  windstorms
• 13:22
  this
• 13:22
  last,
• 13:22
  this
• 13:23
  last
• 13:23
  spring,
• 13:23
  I
• 13:23
  think
• 13:24
  in
• 13:24
  February,
• 13:24
  they
• 13:24
  lost
• 13:25
  power
• 13:25
  out
• 13:25
  there.
• 13:25
  The
• 13:26
  house,
• 13:26
  well,
• 13:26
  it
• 13:26
  froze
• 13:27
  up.
• 13:27
  And
• 13:28
  so
• 13:28
  once
• 13:28
  it
• 13:29
  got
• 13:29
  thought
• 13:29
  out,
• 13:29
  by
• 13:30
  the
• 13:30
  time
• 13:30
  they
• 13:30
  got
• 13:30
  out
• 13:31
  there,
• 13:31
  well,
• 13:31
  he
• 13:31
  was
• 13:31
  sitting
• 13:31
  at
• 13:31
  home,
• 13:32
  he's
• 13:32
  like
• 13:32
  what's
• 13:32
  that
• 13:32
  on
• 13:33
  my
• 13:33
  security
• 13:33
  camera?
• 13:35
  And
• 13:35
  it
• 13:35
  was
• 13:35
  a
• 13:35
  3
• 13:35
  quarter
• 13:36
  inch
• 13:36
  water
• 13:36
  line
• 13:36
  that
• 13:37
  had
• 13:37
  been
• 13:37
  broken
• 13:37
  and
• 13:37
  it
• 13:38
  was
• 13:38
  running
• 13:38
  through
• 13:38
  the
• 13:38
  ceiling,
• 13:39
  through
• 13:39
  the
• 13:39
  lights.
• 13:40
  He
• 13:40
  was
• 13:40
  trying
• 13:40
  to
• 13:40
  figure
• 13:41
  out
• 13:41
  what
• 13:41
  it
• 13:41
  was.
• 13:41
  Well,
• 13:42
  by
• 13:42
  the
• 13:42
  time
• 13:43
  they
• 13:43
  got
• 13:43
  in
• 13:43
  the
• 13:44
  car,
• 13:44
  drove
• 13:44
  the
• 13:44
  two
• 13:45
  hours
• 13:45
  from
• 13:45
  where
• 13:45
  they
• 13:45
  live
• 13:46
  out
• 13:46
  there,
• 13:46
  they
• 13:47
  had
• 13:47
  a
• 13:47
  massive
• 13:48
  problem.
• 13:49
  And
• 13:49
  the
• 13:50
  bad
• 13:50
  part
• 13:50
  was
• 13:50
  is
• 13:51
  the
• 13:51
  insurance
• 13:51
  company
• 13:51
  was
• 13:52
  said
• 13:52
  they'd
• 13:52
  cover
• 13:52
  up
• 13:52
  to
• 13:52
  $200,000
• 13:54
  on
• 13:54
  the
• 13:54
  place.
• 13:55
  Their
• 13:55
  bill
• 13:56
  for
• 13:56
  water
• 13:57
  damage
• 13:57
  and
• 13:57
  remediation
• 13:58
  after
• 13:59
  it
• 13:59
  was
• 13:59
  gutted
• 13:59
  down
• 14:00
  to
• 14:00
  the
• 14:00
  studs
• 14:00
  from
• 14:00
  the
• 14:00
  company
• 14:01
  was
• 14:01
  like
• 14:01
  $130,000.
• 14:03
  Yeah,
• 14:04
  no,
• 14:04
  and
• 14:04
  that
• 14:04
  wipes
• 14:05
  out.
• 14:05
  So
• 14:05
  just
• 14:05
  imagine
• 14:05
  how
• 14:06
  much
• 14:06
  they
• 14:06
  have
• 14:06
  left
• 14:06
  to
• 14:06
  replace
• 14:07
  everything
• 14:08
  else.
• 14:08
  And
• 14:08
  remote
• 14:09
  house.
• 14:09
  Oh,
• 14:10
  yeah.
• 14:10
  Oh,
• 14:10
  no.
• 14:11
  Exactly.
• 14:11
  Exactly.
• 14:12
  Just
• 14:12
  got
• 14:12
  to
• 14:12
  pay
• 14:13
  attention
• 14:13
  to
• 14:13
  what
• 14:13
  things
• 14:13
  cost
• 14:14
  and,
• 14:14
  and
• 14:15
  pay
• 14:15
  attention
• 14:15
  to.
• 14:16
  You
• 14:16
  could
• 14:16
  have
• 14:16
  lead
• 14:17
  paint,
• 14:17
  you
• 14:17
  could
• 14:17
  have
• 14:17
  asbestos.
• 14:18
  So
• 14:18
  I
• 14:19
  just
• 14:19
  want
• 14:19
  everybody
• 14:19
  out
• 14:20
  there
• 14:20
  to
• 14:20
  make
• 14:20
  sure
• 14:20
  that
• 14:20
  you're
• 14:21
  having
• 14:21
  these
• 14:21
  conversations
• 14:23
  as
• 14:23
  a
• 14:23
  whole
• 14:24
  part
• 14:24
  of
• 14:24
  this
• 14:24
  episode
• 14:24
  here,
• 14:25
  because
• 14:25
  that's
• 14:26
  a
• 14:26
  part
• 14:26
  that
• 14:26
  I
• 14:26
  don't
• 14:26
  want
• 14:27
  anybody
• 14:27
  to
• 14:27
  skip
• 14:27
  over.
• 14:28
  This
• 14:28
  part
• 14:28
  here
• 14:28
  is
• 14:29
  super
• 14:29
  important
• 14:29
  for
• 14:30
  you,
• 14:30
  but
• 14:31
  you
• 14:31
  still
• 14:31
  got
• 14:31
  to
• 14:31
  get
• 14:32
  it
• 14:32
  replaced,
• 14:32
  right?
• 14:33
  You
• 14:33
  do.
• 14:33
  And
• 14:34
  it's
• 14:34
  the.
• 14:34
  The
• 14:35
  point
• 14:35
  about
• 14:35
  knowing
• 14:36
  what
• 14:36
  you
• 14:36
  have.
• 14:37
  So
• 14:38
  if
• 14:38
  you
• 14:38
  don't
• 14:38
  know
• 14:39
  what
• 14:39
  you
• 14:39
  have,
• 14:39
  you
• 14:39
  can't
• 14:39
  buy
• 14:40
  the
• 14:40
  proper
• 14:40
  amount
• 14:40
  of
• 14:40
  insurance.
• 14:41
  There's
• 14:41
  a
• 14:41
  classic
• 14:42
  example.
• 14:43
  So
• 14:44
  the
• 14:44
  inventory
• 14:45
  serves
• 14:45
  that
• 14:45
  purpose.
• 14:46
  You
• 14:46
  can
• 14:46
  buy
• 14:46
  the
• 14:46
  right
• 14:47
  amount
• 14:47
  of
• 14:47
  insurance.
• 14:48
  Talked
• 14:48
  to
• 14:49
  a
• 14:49
  public
• 14:49
  adjuster
• 14:50
  just
• 14:50
  the
• 14:50
  other
• 14:50
  day
• 14:51
  who
• 14:51
  had
• 14:51
  told
• 14:51
  me
• 14:52
  that
• 14:52
  his
• 14:53
  experience
• 14:53
  is
• 14:54
  most
• 14:54
  people
• 14:54
  are
• 14:55
  either
• 14:55
  way
• 14:55
  overinsured
• 14:56
  or
• 14:56
  way
• 14:56
  of
• 14:57
  an
• 14:57
  underinsured.
• 14:57
  So
• 14:58
  you're
• 14:58
  either
• 14:58
  paying
• 14:59
  extra
• 14:59
  money
• 14:59
  that
• 14:59
  you
• 15:00
  shouldn't
• 15:01
  and
• 15:01
  you're
• 15:01
  losing
• 15:01
  that,
• 15:02
  or
• 15:03
  if
• 15:03
  you
• 15:03
  have
• 15:03
  a
• 15:04
  loss
• 15:04
  and
• 15:05
  you
• 15:05
  make
• 15:05
  the
• 15:05
  claim,
• 15:06
  you're
• 15:06
  not
• 15:06
  going
• 15:06
  to
• 15:06
  get
• 15:06
  everything
• 15:07
  because
• 15:07
  you're
• 15:07
  way
• 15:07
  underinsured
• 15:08
  from
• 15:08
  where
• 15:08
  you
• 15:08
  should
• 15:09
  be.
• 15:09
  And
• 15:10
  the
• 15:10
  inventory
• 15:10
  can
• 15:11
  help
• 15:11
  you
• 15:11
  determine
• 15:12
  that.
• 15:12
  At
• 15:12
  least
• 15:12
  get
• 15:12
  it
• 15:13
  much
• 15:13
  closer
• 15:13
  to
• 15:13
  where
• 15:14
  it
• 15:14
  should
• 15:14
  be.
• 15:15
  There's
• 15:15
  also
• 15:15
  estate
• 15:16
  planning.
• 15:17
  Now,
• 15:17
  I
• 15:17
  know
• 15:17
  a
• 15:17
  lot
• 15:17
  of
• 15:17
  people
• 15:18
  say,
• 15:18
  I
• 15:18
  don't
• 15:18
  have
• 15:18
  a
• 15:18
  big
• 15:19
  estate
• 15:19
  and
• 15:19
  all
• 15:19
  that.
• 15:19
  You
• 15:20
  have
• 15:20
  stuff,
• 15:20
  and
• 15:20
  you
• 15:21
  have
• 15:21
  stuff
• 15:21
  you
• 15:21
  want
• 15:21
  to
• 15:21
  leave
• 15:22
  to
• 15:22
  family
• 15:22
  and
• 15:22
  friends.
• 15:23
  It
• 15:24
  all
• 15:24
  needs
• 15:24
  to
• 15:24
  be
• 15:24
  documented
• 15:25
  and
• 15:25
  noted
• 15:26
  as
• 15:26
  to
• 15:26
  where
• 15:26
  it
• 15:26
  goes.
• 15:27
  And
• 15:27
  again,
• 15:27
  the
• 15:27
  inventory
• 15:28
  is
• 15:28
  the
• 15:28
  way,
• 15:28
  only
• 15:28
  way
• 15:29
  to
• 15:29
  do
• 15:29
  it.
• 15:29
  So
• 15:29
  you
• 15:29
  can
• 15:30
  actually
• 15:30
  accomplish
• 15:30
  multiple
• 15:31
  things
• 15:31
  by
• 15:31
  just
• 15:32
  getting
• 15:32
  the
• 15:32
  inventory.
• 15:32
  Inventory
• 15:33
  done.
• 15:33
  You
• 15:33
  know,
• 15:34
  that's
• 15:34
  a
• 15:34
  great
• 15:34
  point,
• 15:34
  Ken,
• 15:35
  because
• 15:35
  now
• 15:35
  all
• 15:35
  of
• 15:35
  a
• 15:35
  sudden,
• 15:35
  if
• 15:36
  you're
• 15:36
  going
• 15:36
  to
• 15:36
  be
• 15:36
  doing
• 15:36
  a
• 15:37
  will
• 15:37
  around
• 15:37
  that
• 15:37
  you
• 15:38
  have
• 15:38
  an
• 15:38
  inventory
• 15:38
  to
• 15:38
  work
• 15:39
  from,
• 15:39
  and
• 15:39
  so
• 15:40
  you
• 15:40
  can
• 15:40
  go,
• 15:40
  hey,
• 15:40
  as
• 15:41
  of
• 15:41
  this
• 15:41
  point,
• 15:41
  I've
• 15:42
  got
• 15:42
  this,
• 15:42
  and
• 15:42
  this
• 15:42
  is
• 15:42
  how
• 15:43
  I
• 15:43
  want
• 15:43
  to
• 15:43
  dish
• 15:44
  this
• 15:44
  out
• 15:44
  to
• 15:44
  family
• 15:45
  members
• 15:45
  or
• 15:45
  be
• 15:45
  donated
• 15:46
  or
• 15:46
  whatever
• 15:46
  you
• 15:46
  want
• 15:47
  to
• 15:47
  do
• 15:47
  with
• 15:47
  it,
• 15:47
  because
• 15:47
  it's
• 15:47
  your
• 15:48
  call.
• 15:48
  But
• 15:48
  if
• 15:48
  you
• 15:49
  don't
• 15:49
  have
• 15:49
  that,
• 15:50
  it's
• 15:50
  kind
• 15:50
  of
• 15:50
  an
• 15:51
  incomplete
• 15:51
  list.
• 15:52
  It
• 15:52
  is.
• 15:52
  And
• 15:52
  on
• 15:53
  top
• 15:53
  of
• 15:53
  that,
• 15:53
  you
• 15:53
  know,
• 15:54
  families
• 15:55
  are
• 15:55
  families.
• 15:56
  And
• 15:56
  what
• 15:56
  happens
• 15:57
  is.
• 15:59
  So
• 15:59
  that
• 16:00
  painting
• 16:00
  that
• 16:00
  was
• 16:01
  in
• 16:01
  grandma's
• 16:02
  house
• 16:02
  over
• 16:02
  the
• 16:02
  fireplace.
• 16:03
  What,
• 16:03
  Wait,
• 16:04
  where
• 16:04
  that
• 16:04
  go?
• 16:05
  It
• 16:05
  disappeared
• 16:07
  because
• 16:08
  someone
• 16:08
  wanted
• 16:08
  it.
• 16:09
  And
• 16:09
  they'll
• 16:09
  say
• 16:09
  they
• 16:09
  snuck
• 16:09
  in
• 16:10
  there
• 16:10
  and
• 16:10
  got
• 16:10
  it.
• 16:10
  And
• 16:10
  that
• 16:11
  happens
• 16:11
  much
• 16:11
  more
• 16:11
  frequently,
• 16:12
  you
• 16:13
  know.
• 16:13
  Exactly.
• 16:14
  It's
• 16:15
  much
• 16:15
  more
• 16:15
  common
• 16:16
  than
• 16:16
  you
• 16:16
  think.
• 16:17
  And
• 16:17
  by
• 16:17
  again,
• 16:18
  having
• 16:18
  that
• 16:18
  documented,
• 16:20
  everything
• 16:20
  can
• 16:20
  be
• 16:21
  equitable
• 16:21
  and
• 16:21
  you
• 16:21
  can
• 16:22
  keep
• 16:22
  the
• 16:23
  difficulties
• 16:24
  surrounding
• 16:24
  families
• 16:25
  at
• 16:25
  that
• 16:25
  time
• 16:26
  down
• 16:27
  to
• 16:27
  a
• 16:27
  moderate
• 16:28
  level.
• 16:29
  Yeah,
• 16:29
  I
• 16:29
  mean,
• 16:29
  it's
• 16:29
  still
• 16:30
  going
• 16:30
  to
• 16:30
  probably
• 16:30
  look
• 16:30
  like
• 16:30
  a
• 16:30
  General
• 16:31
  Hospital
• 16:31
  episode
• 16:32
  when
• 16:32
  it's
• 16:32
  all
• 16:32
  said
• 16:33
  and
• 16:33
  done.
• 16:33
  But
• 16:34
  you
• 16:35
  know,
• 16:36
  it's
• 16:36
  families.
• 16:37
  And
• 16:37
  I
• 16:37
  show
• 16:38
  me
• 16:38
  a
• 16:38
  family
• 16:38
  that's
• 16:38
  going
• 16:38
  to
• 16:39
  sit
• 16:39
  down
• 16:39
  and
• 16:39
  go,
• 16:39
  oh,
• 16:40
  that's
• 16:40
  wonderful,
• 16:41
  great.
• 16:41
  It
• 16:41
  doesn't
• 16:41
  exist
• 16:42
  that
• 16:42
  way.
• 16:42
  There's
• 16:42
  going
• 16:42
  to
• 16:43
  be
• 16:43
  some
• 16:43
  bit
• 16:44
  of
• 16:44
  stress
• 16:45
  because
• 16:46
  you
• 16:46
  want
• 16:46
  to
• 16:46
  eliminate
• 16:47
  as
• 16:47
  much
• 16:47
  of
• 16:47
  that
• 16:47
  as
• 16:47
  you
• 16:47
  can.
• 16:48
  Exactly,
• 16:49
  exactly.
• 16:49
  And
• 16:50
  preparation
• 16:50
  is
• 16:50
  key.
• 16:51
  Yeah.
• 16:52
  So
• 16:52
  the
• 16:52
  process
• 16:53
  is,
• 16:53
  you
• 16:53
  know,
• 16:53
  so,
• 16:54
  okay,
• 16:54
  we've
• 16:54
  got
• 16:54
  people
• 16:54
  out
• 16:55
  there
• 16:55
  right
• 16:55
  now
• 16:55
  that
• 16:55
  are
• 16:55
  tuning
• 16:56
  in
• 16:56
  going,
• 16:56
  oh
• 16:56
  my
• 16:56
  gosh,
• 16:57
  I'm
• 16:57
  way
• 16:57
  behind
• 16:58
  the
• 16:58
  eight
• 16:58
  ball.
• 16:59
  How
• 16:59
  do
• 16:59
  I
• 16:59
  start
• 17:00
  this
• 17:00
  process,
• 17:00
  Ken?
• 17:01
  Okay,
• 17:01
  well
• 17:02
  if
• 17:02
  it's,
• 17:02
  are
• 17:02
  you
• 17:03
  talking
• 17:03
  about
• 17:03
  hiring
• 17:04
  me
• 17:04
  or
• 17:04
  hiring
• 17:04
  someone?
• 17:05
  They're
• 17:05
  like,
• 17:06
  hey,
• 17:06
  I
• 17:06
  don't
• 17:06
  have
• 17:06
  the
• 17:06
  time
• 17:07
  to
• 17:07
  go
• 17:07
  through
• 17:07
  and
• 17:08
  do
• 17:08
  this.
• 17:08
  I,
• 17:09
  I
• 17:09
  have
• 17:10
  a
• 17:10
  full
• 17:10
  busy
• 17:10
  life.
• 17:11
  I'm
• 17:11
  working,
• 17:11
  I've
• 17:12
  got
• 17:12
  vacations.
• 17:13
  I
• 17:13
  want
• 17:13
  to
• 17:13
  have
• 17:14
  somebody
• 17:14
  knock
• 17:14
  this
• 17:14
  out
• 17:15
  for
• 17:15
  me
• 17:15
  because
• 17:15
  I
• 17:15
  want
• 17:16
  it
• 17:16
  done
• 17:16
  right
• 17:16
  and
• 17:17
  do
• 17:17
  it,
• 17:17
  you
• 17:18
  know,
• 17:18
  do
• 17:18
  it
• 17:18
  and
• 17:18
  get
• 17:18
  it
• 17:18
  done.
• 17:19
  Okay,
• 17:20
  so
• 17:20
  the
• 17:20
  best
• 17:21
  first
• 17:22
  visit
• 17:22
  my
• 17:22
  website,
• 17:23
  call
• 17:23
  me,
• 17:24
  let's
• 17:24
  have
• 17:24
  a
• 17:24
  conversation.
• 17:25
  I'll
• 17:25
  explain
• 17:26
  the
• 17:26
  process,
• 17:27
  which
• 17:27
  I
• 17:28
  went
• 17:28
  over
• 17:28
  earlier,
• 17:29
  answer
• 17:30
  questions
• 17:30
  they
• 17:30
  have,
• 17:31
  then
• 17:31
  we
• 17:32
  have
• 17:32
  a
• 17:32
  conversation
• 17:32
  about
• 17:33
  how
• 17:33
  much
• 17:34
  stuff
• 17:34
  they
• 17:34
  have.
• 17:35
  If
• 17:35
  it's
• 17:36
  someone
• 17:36
  who
• 17:36
  is
• 17:36
  not
• 17:36
  a
• 17:37
  big
• 17:37
  collector,
• 17:37
  it's
• 17:38
  just,
• 17:38
  you
• 17:38
  know,
• 17:38
  typical
• 17:39
  people
• 17:39
  that
• 17:39
  have
• 17:40
  stuff
• 17:40
  that
• 17:40
  they
• 17:41
  want
• 17:41
  to
• 17:41
  document
• 17:42
  that's
• 17:42
  fairly
• 17:43
  straightforward.
• 17:43
  I
• 17:44
  can
• 17:44
  go
• 17:44
  through,
• 17:44
  have
• 17:45
  a
• 17:45
  good
• 17:45
  estimate
• 17:45
  based
• 17:46
  on
• 17:46
  square
• 17:46
  footage
• 17:46
  of
• 17:47
  the
• 17:47
  house
• 17:47
  on
• 17:47
  how
• 17:47
  much
• 17:48
  time
• 17:48
  it's
• 17:48
  going
• 17:48
  to
• 17:48
  take
• 17:48
  me.
• 17:49
  Now
• 17:49
  if
• 17:49
  they
• 17:50
  have
• 17:50
  other
• 17:50
  higher
• 17:51
  value
• 17:51
  items,
• 17:52
  then
• 17:52
  we
• 17:52
  start
• 17:52
  talking
• 17:52
  about
• 17:53
  how
• 17:53
  many
• 17:53
  there
• 17:53
  are
• 17:54
  so
• 17:54
  that
• 17:54
  I
• 17:54
  can
• 17:55
  determine
• 17:55
  how
• 17:55
  much
• 17:55
  extra
• 17:56
  time
• 17:56
  that
• 17:56
  takes.
• 17:57
  You
• 17:57
  know,
• 17:57
  a
• 17:57
  typical.
• 17:58
  I'll
• 17:59
  just
• 17:59
  give
• 17:59
  you
• 17:59
  an
• 17:59
  example.
• 18:00
  I
• 18:00
  was
• 18:00
  in
• 18:00
  Des
• 18:00
  Moines,
• 18:01
  Iowa
• 18:01
  just
• 18:02
  this
• 18:02
  past
• 18:02
  weekend
• 18:03
  working
• 18:03
  for
• 18:03
  clients.
• 18:04
  It's
• 18:04
  a
• 18:04
  couple,
• 18:04
  they
• 18:05
  have
• 18:05
  two
• 18:05
  homes.
• 18:05
  I
• 18:05
  did
• 18:05
  both
• 18:06
  homes.
• 18:07
  One
• 18:07
  home
• 18:07
  was
• 18:08
  in
• 18:08
  the
• 18:08
  1800
• 18:09
  square
• 18:09
  foot
• 18:10
  range.
• 18:10
  The
• 18:10
  other
• 18:10
  one
• 18:11
  is
• 18:11
  about
• 18:11
  2500.
• 18:13
  Both
• 18:13
  of
• 18:13
  those
• 18:13
  were
• 18:13
  one
• 18:13
  day
• 18:14
  jobs
• 18:14
  I
• 18:14
  got
• 18:15
  in
• 18:15
  there.
• 18:15
  The
• 18:15
  larger
• 18:16
  home,
• 18:16
  he
• 18:16
  also
• 18:17
  had
• 18:17
  an
• 18:17
  extensive
• 18:18
  coin
• 18:18
  collection.
• 18:18
  So
• 18:19
  we
• 18:19
  were
• 18:19
  there
• 18:19
  from
• 18:19
  nine
• 18:19
  to
• 18:20
  six,
• 18:20
  but
• 18:21
  I
• 18:21
  captured
• 18:21
  everything
• 18:22
  and
• 18:22
  now
• 18:22
  I
• 18:22
  have
• 18:22
  all
• 18:22
  the
• 18:23
  data
• 18:23
  here.
• 18:23
  I
• 18:23
  can
• 18:23
  assemble
• 18:24
  the
• 18:24
  second
• 18:25
  home
• 18:26
  much
• 18:26
  simpler.
• 18:27
  Not
• 18:27
  a
• 18:27
  no
• 18:28
  huge
• 18:28
  collection.
• 18:29
  I
• 18:29
  was
• 18:29
  done
• 18:30
  by,
• 18:30
  you
• 18:30
  know,
• 18:30
  from
• 18:30
  9
• 18:31
  to
• 18:31
  say
• 18:31
  3:34
• 18:32
  o'clock.
• 18:33
  Both
• 18:33
  are
• 18:33
  back
• 18:34
  here
• 18:34
  now
• 18:34
  another
• 18:35
  two
• 18:35
  weeks
• 18:35
  and
• 18:35
  I
• 18:35
  have
• 18:36
  it
• 18:36
  all
• 18:36
  assembled
• 18:36
  and
• 18:37
  delivered
• 18:37
  back
• 18:37
  to
• 18:37
  them.
• 18:38
  But
• 18:39
  there
• 18:39
  is,
• 18:39
  but
• 18:39
  there's
• 18:40
  also,
• 18:40
  you
• 18:40
  know,
• 18:40
  so
• 18:40
  that's
• 18:40
  me,
• 18:41
  the,
• 18:41
  the
• 18:41
  great
• 18:42
  way
• 18:42
  to
• 18:42
  do
• 18:42
  it.
• 18:43
  I
• 18:43
  know
• 18:43
  not
• 18:43
  everybody
• 18:44
  wants
• 18:44
  my
• 18:44
  service
• 18:45
  or
• 18:45
  needs
• 18:45
  my
• 18:45
  service.
• 18:46
  People
• 18:46
  are
• 18:47
  more
• 18:47
  modest
• 18:48
  needs.
• 18:48
  There
• 18:49
  is
• 18:49
  actually
• 18:49
  a
• 18:49
  very
• 18:50
  simple
• 18:51
  way
• 18:51
  to
• 18:51
  do
• 18:51
  it
• 18:51
  and
• 18:51
  I'll
• 18:52
  just
• 18:52
  run
• 18:52
  through
• 18:52
  the
• 18:52
  steps.
• 18:53
  Yeah,
• 18:54
  it's
• 18:54
  really.
• 18:55
  The
• 18:55
  first
• 18:55
  thing
• 18:55
  is
• 18:56
  we
• 18:56
  all
• 18:56
  got
• 18:56
  the
• 18:57
  camera
• 18:57
  phone
• 18:57
  that's
• 18:57
  got
• 18:57
  video
• 18:58
  that
• 18:58
  works
• 18:59
  great.
• 19:00
  Use
• 19:00
  that
• 19:00
  to
• 19:01
  make
• 19:01
  a
• 19:01
  video
• 19:01
  of
• 19:02
  every
• 19:02
  room
• 19:02
  in
• 19:02
  the
• 19:02
  house.
• 19:03
  However,
• 19:04
  there's
• 19:04
  a
• 19:04
  couple
• 19:04
  of
• 19:04
  key
• 19:04
  points
• 19:05
  to
• 19:05
  make.
• 19:06
  The
• 19:06
  first
• 19:06
  is
• 19:07
  move
• 19:07
  slowly,
• 19:08
  walk
• 19:08
  slowly.
• 19:09
  Don't
• 19:10
  move
• 19:10
  fast
• 19:10
  because
• 19:11
  the
• 19:11
  image
• 19:11
  quality
• 19:11
  goes
• 19:12
  down
• 19:12
  and
• 19:12
  makes
• 19:12
  it
• 19:12
  harder
• 19:13
  to
• 19:13
  see
• 19:13
  what
• 19:13
  you're
• 19:13
  doing.
• 19:14
  So
• 19:15
  you
• 19:15
  start
• 19:15
  in
• 19:16
  the
• 19:16
  middle
• 19:16
  of
• 19:16
  the
• 19:16
  room
• 19:17
  and
• 19:17
  as
• 19:17
  a
• 19:17
  video,
• 19:18
  you
• 19:18
  go
• 19:18
  360
• 19:19
  degrees.
• 19:20
  Just
• 19:20
  pan
• 19:20
  and
• 19:20
  get
• 19:20
  the
• 19:21
  whole
• 19:21
  thing.
• 19:21
  Get
• 19:21
  the
• 19:21
  ceilings,
• 19:22
  get
• 19:22
  the
• 19:22
  floors.
• 19:23
  Those
• 19:23
  heat
• 19:23
  registers
• 19:24
  matter.
• 19:25
  Outlets
• 19:25
  and
• 19:25
  light
• 19:26
  switches
• 19:26
  matter.
• 19:26
  Get
• 19:27
  all
• 19:27
  of
• 19:27
  it.
• 19:28
  Then
• 19:28
  you
• 19:28
  walk
• 19:28
  through
• 19:29
  the
• 19:29
  room.
• 19:29
  Start
• 19:29
  left
• 19:30
  to
• 19:30
  right.
• 19:30
  Just
• 19:30
  be
• 19:31
  consistent
• 19:32
  and
• 19:32
  video
• 19:33
  up
• 19:33
  close.
• 19:34
  Everything,
• 19:35
  it
• 19:35
  doesn't
• 19:35
  matter
• 19:35
  what
• 19:35
  it
• 19:36
  is.
• 19:36
  Lamps
• 19:36
  with
• 19:36
  this,
• 19:37
  that
• 19:37
  and
• 19:37
  the
• 19:37
  other,
• 19:37
  open
• 19:38
  drawers,
• 19:39
  open
• 19:39
  cabinet
• 19:40
  doors,
• 19:40
  open
• 19:41
  closets.
• 19:42
  Capture
• 19:42
  all
• 19:43
  of
• 19:43
  that
• 19:43
  stuff.
• 19:44
  The
• 19:44
  goal
• 19:45
  is
• 19:45
  to
• 19:45
  capture
• 19:46
  enough
• 19:46
  to
• 19:46
  help
• 19:46
  you
• 19:46
  remember
• 19:47
  everything.
• 19:48
  And
• 19:48
  the
• 19:48
  visuals
• 19:49
  will
• 19:49
  be
• 19:49
  our
• 19:49
  key
• 19:50
  to
• 19:50
  that.
• 19:50
  But
• 19:51
  the
• 19:51
  other
• 19:51
  key
• 19:52
  is
• 19:52
  as
• 19:52
  you're
• 19:52
  doing
• 19:53
  that
• 19:53
  video,
• 19:54
  talk,
• 19:54
  narrate,
• 19:55
  tell
• 19:56
  us
• 19:56
  about
• 19:56
  the
• 19:56
  stuff
• 19:56
  you're
• 19:57
  talking
• 19:57
  about.
• 19:57
  Anything
• 19:58
  that
• 19:58
  you
• 19:58
  think
• 19:58
  is
• 19:59
  important,
• 19:59
  the
• 19:59
  material
• 20:00
  it's
• 20:00
  made
• 20:00
  out
• 20:00
  of,
• 20:01
  when
• 20:01
  you
• 20:01
  bought
• 20:01
  it.
• 20:01
  If
• 20:01
  you
• 20:02
  have
• 20:02
  an
• 20:02
  idea
• 20:02
  of
• 20:02
  the
• 20:02
  value,
• 20:03
  just
• 20:03
  keep
• 20:04
  talking
• 20:04
  through
• 20:05
  it.
• 20:05
  It
• 20:06
  will
• 20:06
  help
• 20:06
  you
• 20:07
  so
• 20:07
  greatly.
• 20:08
  The
• 20:08
  other
• 20:08
  thing
• 20:09
  that's
• 20:09
  also
• 20:09
  important
• 20:10
  is
• 20:10
  don't
• 20:11
  do
• 20:11
  one
• 20:11
  big
• 20:11
  video
• 20:12
  of
• 20:12
  the
• 20:12
  house.
• 20:12
  Break
• 20:13
  it
• 20:13
  up
• 20:13
  by
• 20:14
  each
• 20:14
  room.
• 20:15
  Because
• 20:15
  if
• 20:15
  you
• 20:15
  do
• 20:15
  need
• 20:16
  to
• 20:16
  use
• 20:16
  it
• 20:16
  later,
• 20:16
  it's
• 20:17
  going
• 20:17
  to
• 20:17
  be
• 20:17
  much
• 20:17
  more
• 20:18
  efficient
• 20:18
  to
• 20:18
  just
• 20:18
  look
• 20:19
  one
• 20:19
  room
• 20:19
  at
• 20:19
  a
• 20:19
  time
• 20:20
  rather
• 20:20
  than
• 20:20
  fast
• 20:21
  forwarding
• 20:21
  to
• 20:22
  the
• 20:22
  last
• 20:22
  room
• 20:23
  that
• 20:23
  you
• 20:23
  did
• 20:23
  to
• 20:23
  get
• 20:24
  there.
• 20:24
  You
• 20:25
  know
• 20:25
  what
• 20:25
  I'm
• 20:25
  talking
• 20:25
  about.
• 20:25
  Because
• 20:26
  you
• 20:26
  play
• 20:26
  with
• 20:26
  audio
• 20:26
  and
• 20:27
  video
• 20:27
  all
• 20:27
  the
• 20:27
  time.
• 20:27
  Exactly.
• 20:28
  So,
• 20:29
  yeah,
• 20:29
  two
• 20:30
  minutes
• 20:30
  in,
• 20:30
  I
• 20:31
  think.
• 20:31
  Yeah.
• 20:33
  So
• 20:33
  those
• 20:34
  things
• 20:34
  will
• 20:34
  get
• 20:35
  you
• 20:35
  a
• 20:35
  long
• 20:36
  way.
• 20:36
  And
• 20:36
  especially
• 20:37
  like
• 20:37
  your
• 20:37
  friends
• 20:38
  with
• 20:38
  the
• 20:38
  cabin
• 20:38
  up
• 20:38
  on
• 20:38
  Mount
• 20:39
  Hood,
• 20:39
  that
• 20:39
  would
• 20:40
  have
• 20:40
  been
• 20:40
  huge.
• 20:40
  I
• 20:40
  know
• 20:41
  they
• 20:41
  were
• 20:41
  limited,
• 20:42
  but
• 20:42
  that
• 20:42
  would
• 20:42
  have
• 20:42
  been
• 20:42
  huge
• 20:43
  for
• 20:43
  documenting
• 20:43
  and
• 20:44
  remembering
• 20:44
  everything
• 20:45
  they
• 20:45
  had.
• 20:46
  The
• 20:46
  last
• 20:46
  thing
• 20:47
  is
• 20:47
  don't
• 20:47
  keep
• 20:48
  it
• 20:48
  on
• 20:48
  the
• 20:48
  phone.
• 20:49
  Almost
• 20:49
  every
• 20:50
  phone
• 20:50
  has
• 20:50
  some
• 20:51
  sort
• 20:51
  of
• 20:51
  icloud
• 20:52
  or
• 20:52
  cloud
• 20:53
  storage.
• 20:53
  Put
• 20:54
  it
• 20:54
  up
• 20:54
  in
• 20:54
  the
• 20:54
  cloud
• 20:55
  and.
• 20:55
  And
• 20:55
  keep
• 20:56
  it
• 20:56
  up
• 20:56
  there.
• 20:56
  It
• 20:57
  will.
• 20:57
  You
• 20:57
  will.
• 20:58
  So
• 20:58
  thank
• 20:59
  yourself
• 20:59
  for
• 20:59
  doing
• 20:59
  that.
• 21:00
  Nice.
• 21:01
  You
• 21:01
  know,
• 21:01
  my
• 21:01
  rules
• 21:01
  on
• 21:02
  any
• 21:02
  data
• 21:02
  like
• 21:03
  that
• 21:03
  is
• 21:03
  if
• 21:03
  you
• 21:03
  don't
• 21:03
  have
• 21:03
  it
• 21:03
  in
• 21:04
  three
• 21:04
  separate
• 21:04
  places,
• 21:05
  you
• 21:05
  don't
• 21:05
  have
• 21:05
  it
• 21:05
  enough
• 21:05
  places.
• 21:06
  Exactly.
• 21:07
  And
• 21:07
  one
• 21:07
  of
• 21:07
  them
• 21:07
  being
• 21:08
  the
• 21:08
  cloud.
• 21:08
  At
• 21:08
  least.
• 21:09
  At
• 21:09
  least
• 21:10
  I
• 21:10
  know
• 21:11
  personally,
• 21:11
  I
• 21:12
  have.
• 21:12
  There
• 21:12
  is
• 21:12
  a
• 21:12
  backup
• 21:13
  here.
• 21:13
  Yep,
• 21:14
  there
• 21:14
  is.
• 21:14
  You
• 21:14
  know,
• 21:14
  that's
• 21:15
  easy
• 21:15
  access.
• 21:16
  There's
• 21:16
  the
• 21:16
  cloud
• 21:17
  and
• 21:17
  there's
• 21:17
  a
• 21:17
  safe
• 21:18
  deposit
• 21:18
  box.
• 21:19
  There
• 21:19
  you
• 21:19
  go.
• 21:20
  Yeah.
• 21:20
  On
• 21:20
  my
• 21:21
  computer,
• 21:21
  I.
• 21:21
  This.
• 21:22
  I
• 21:22
  don't
• 21:22
  want
• 21:22
  this
• 21:22
  sound
• 21:22
  like
• 21:22
  a
• 21:22
  commercial
• 21:23
  because
• 21:23
  I
• 21:23
  pay
• 21:24
  every
• 21:24
  year
• 21:24
  for
• 21:24
  it,
• 21:25
  but
• 21:26
  I
• 21:26
  still
• 21:26
  use
• 21:26
  that
• 21:27
  old
• 21:27
  program
• 21:27
  Carbonite
• 21:28
  to
• 21:28
  back
• 21:28
  stuff
• 21:29
  up
• 21:29
  with,
• 21:29
  you
• 21:29
  know,
• 21:30
  just
• 21:30
  so
• 21:31
  every
• 21:31
  computer
• 21:31
  has
• 21:32
  got
• 21:32
  a
• 21:32
  backup.
• 21:32
  If
• 21:33
  my
• 21:33
  laptop
• 21:34
  fries,
• 21:34
  I
• 21:34
  can
• 21:35
  go
• 21:35
  down,
• 21:35
  pick
• 21:35
  up
• 21:35
  another
• 21:36
  one
• 21:36
  and.
• 21:36
  And
• 21:36
  just
• 21:37
  go
• 21:37
  restore
• 21:39
  and
• 21:39
  get
• 21:40
  it
• 21:40
  back
• 21:40
  there.
• 21:40
  And
• 21:41
  so
• 21:41
  that's
• 21:41
  my
• 21:41
  kind
• 21:42
  of
• 21:42
  my
• 21:42
  fourth
• 21:42
  backup
• 21:43
  on
• 21:43
  things.
• 21:43
  But.
• 21:43
  Yep.
• 21:44
  You
• 21:44
  also
• 21:44
  recommend
• 21:45
  when
• 21:45
  you're
• 21:45
  walking
• 21:45
  through
• 21:46
  to
• 21:46
  like,
• 21:46
  turn
• 21:46
  the
• 21:47
  lights
• 21:47
  up
• 21:47
  and.
• 21:48
  Oh,
• 21:48
  yeah,
• 21:48
  we
• 21:49
  change
• 21:49
  that
• 21:49
  phone
• 21:49
  to
• 21:50
  make
• 21:50
  sure
• 21:50
  that
• 21:50
  you're
• 21:50
  getting
• 21:51
  like,
• 21:51
  the
• 21:51
  best
• 21:51
  4K
• 21:52
  or
• 21:52
  whatever.
• 21:53
  Exactly.
• 21:54
  Best
• 21:54
  quality
• 21:54
  possible.
• 21:55
  Make
• 21:55
  this.
• 21:56
  Make
• 21:56
  the
• 21:56
  settings
• 21:56
  on
• 21:57
  the
• 21:57
  phone
• 21:57
  highest
• 21:57
  quality.
• 21:58
  Now
• 21:59
  turn
• 21:59
  on
• 21:59
  all
• 21:59
  the
• 21:59
  lights
• 22:00
  in
• 22:00
  the
• 22:00
  house,
• 22:00
  but
• 22:01
  sometimes
• 22:02
  it's
• 22:02
  better
• 22:02
  to
• 22:03
  close
• 22:03
  the
• 22:04
  drapes
• 22:04
  and
• 22:04
  blinds
• 22:05
  rather
• 22:05
  than
• 22:05
  open
• 22:06
  them.
• 22:06
  And
• 22:06
  the
• 22:06
  reason
• 22:07
  is
• 22:08
  that
• 22:08
  high
• 22:08
  contrast,
• 22:09
  that
• 22:10
  light
• 22:10
  streaming
• 22:11
  in
• 22:11
  through
• 22:11
  is
• 22:12
  not
• 22:12
  your
• 22:12
  friend
• 22:12
  on
• 22:13
  video.
• 22:13
  If
• 22:14
  you
• 22:14
  close
• 22:14
  that
• 22:14
  blind,
• 22:15
  or
• 22:15
  if
• 22:15
  you
• 22:15
  have
• 22:16
  the
• 22:16
  opportunity
• 22:16
  to
• 22:17
  tilt
• 22:17
  the
• 22:17
  lever,
• 22:18
  the
• 22:18
  louvers
• 22:19
  so
• 22:19
  that
• 22:19
  some
• 22:20
  light
• 22:20
  is
• 22:20
  coming
• 22:20
  in,
• 22:21
  you
• 22:21
  want
• 22:21
  really
• 22:22
  what
• 22:22
  we
• 22:22
  call
• 22:22
  a
• 22:22
  flat,
• 22:23
  even
• 22:23
  light,
• 22:23
  because
• 22:24
  you
• 22:24
  want
• 22:24
  to
• 22:24
  see
• 22:24
  as
• 22:25
  much
• 22:25
  as
• 22:25
  you
• 22:25
  can,
• 22:26
  and
• 22:26
  it
• 22:26
  is
• 22:27
  again,
• 22:27
  move
• 22:27
  slow.
• 22:27
  Move
• 22:28
  slow.
• 22:28
  Move
• 22:28
  slow.
• 22:29
  Yeah.
• 22:30
  And
• 22:30
  you
• 22:30
  really
• 22:30
  want
• 22:30
  to
• 22:30
  do
• 22:30
  everything,
• 22:31
  right.
• 22:31
  You
• 22:31
  want
• 22:31
  to
• 22:32
  do
• 22:32
  the
• 22:32
  house,
• 22:32
  you
• 22:32
  want
• 22:32
  to
• 22:32
  do
• 22:33
  the
• 22:33
  garage,
• 22:33
  you
• 22:33
  want
• 22:33
  to
• 22:33
  do
• 22:34
  the
• 22:34
  storage
• 22:34
  shed,
• 22:35
  the
• 22:35
  attic,
• 22:35
  any
• 22:35
  place
• 22:36
  that
• 22:36
  you
• 22:36
  have
• 22:37
  belongings,
• 22:38
  maybe
• 22:38
  even
• 22:38
  your
• 22:39
  storage
• 22:39
  unit.
• 22:39
  Right.
• 22:40
  Just
• 22:40
  everything
• 22:40
  you
• 22:41
  can
• 22:41
  get,
• 22:41
  every
• 22:42
  single.
• 22:42
  Piece
• 22:42
  of
• 22:42
  it
• 22:43
  and
• 22:43
  the
• 22:43
  exterior
• 22:43
  of
• 22:44
  your
• 22:44
  house.
• 22:44
  Walk
• 22:45
  around
• 22:45
  the
• 22:45
  entire
• 22:45
  outside,
• 22:46
  get
• 22:46
  that
• 22:46
  patio
• 22:47
  furniture,
• 22:47
  the
• 22:48
  tool
• 22:48
  shed,
• 22:48
  like
• 22:48
  you
• 22:48
  said,
• 22:49
  is
• 22:49
  important.
• 22:50
  Anything
• 22:50
  like
• 22:50
  that,
• 22:51
  all
• 22:51
  of
• 22:51
  it
• 22:51
  matters,
• 22:52
  even
• 22:52
  down
• 22:53
  to
• 22:53
  the
• 22:53
  landscaping.
• 22:54
  Ah,
• 22:55
  smart.
• 22:55
  Because.
• 22:56
  Yeah,
• 22:56
  all
• 22:56
  it
• 22:56
  takes
• 22:57
  is,
• 22:57
  you
• 22:57
  know,
• 22:58
  depending
• 22:58
  on
• 22:58
  where
• 22:58
  you're.
• 22:59
  Where
• 22:59
  you're
• 22:59
  in
• 22:59
  the
• 22:59
  country,
• 23:00
  wildfire,
• 23:00
  tornado,
• 23:01
  hurricane,
• 23:02
  whatever.
• 23:02
  It's
• 23:03
  one
• 23:03
  of
• 23:03
  those
• 23:03
  things
• 23:04
  that
• 23:04
  all
• 23:05
  of
• 23:05
  a
• 23:05
  sudden
• 23:06
  that
• 23:06
  can
• 23:06
  be
• 23:06
  really
• 23:07
  messed
• 23:07
  up
• 23:07
  and
• 23:07
  you've
• 23:07
  got
• 23:08
  a
• 23:08
  big
• 23:08
  problem.
• 24:52
  So
• 24:53
  I
• 24:53
  like
• 24:53
  it.
• 24:54
  So
• 24:54
  I
• 24:54
  got
• 24:54
  a
• 24:54
  question
• 24:55
  for
• 24:55
  you.
• 24:55
  So
• 24:55
  let's
• 24:56
  say
• 24:56
  you
• 24:56
  just
• 24:56
  had
• 24:57
  a
• 24:57
  loss,
• 24:57
  right?
• 24:58
  You
• 24:58
  had
• 24:58
  something
• 24:58
  happen.
• 24:59
  Fire,
• 25:00
  flood,
• 25:00
  tornado,
• 25:00
  name
• 25:01
  it.
• 25:01
  Like
• 25:01
  we
• 25:01
  were
• 25:01
  just
• 25:01
  talking
• 25:01
  about.
• 25:02
  What
• 25:03
  do
• 25:03
  you
• 25:03
  do
• 25:03
  afterwards
• 25:04
  to
• 25:04
  try
• 25:04
  to
• 25:04
  go,
• 25:04
  okay,
• 25:05
  I
• 25:05
  didn't
• 25:05
  document
• 25:06
  this
• 25:06
  correctly.
• 25:07
  Is
• 25:07
  there
• 25:08
  any
• 25:08
  advice
• 25:08
  for
• 25:08
  people
• 25:08
  that
• 25:09
  are
• 25:09
  maybe
• 25:09
  trying
• 25:09
  to
• 25:09
  save
• 25:10
  it
• 25:10
  after
• 25:10
  it's
• 25:10
  too
• 25:10
  late?
• 25:11
  There
• 25:12
  is.
• 25:12
  First,
• 25:13
  it's
• 25:13
  going
• 25:14
  to
• 25:14
  Be
• 25:14
  hard.
• 25:14
  And
• 25:15
  it's
• 25:15
  going
• 25:15
  to
• 25:15
  be
• 25:15
  traumatic
• 25:16
  because
• 25:17
  a
• 25:17
  lot
• 25:17
  a
• 25:18
  major
• 25:18
  loss
• 25:18
  is.
• 25:19
  And
• 25:19
  losing
• 25:19
  your
• 25:19
  home
• 25:20
  really
• 25:20
  is
• 25:20
  one
• 25:20
  of
• 25:20
  the
• 25:20
  most
• 25:21
  traumatic
• 25:21
  experiences
• 25:22
  we
• 25:22
  can
• 25:22
  have
• 25:22
  because
• 25:22
  it's
• 25:22
  very
• 25:23
  debasing
• 25:23
  and
• 25:23
  destabilizing.
• 25:25
  So
• 25:25
  you're
• 25:25
  already
• 25:26
  upset,
• 25:26
  and
• 25:26
  then
• 25:26
  your
• 25:27
  insurer
• 25:27
  hits
• 25:27
  you
• 25:28
  right
• 25:28
  away
• 25:28
  with,
• 25:28
  the
• 25:29
  first
• 25:29
  thing
• 25:29
  is,
• 25:29
  I
• 25:30
  need
• 25:30
  a
• 25:30
  list
• 25:30
  of
• 25:31
  everything
• 25:31
  you
• 25:31
  lost.
• 25:32
  And
• 25:32
  you're
• 25:32
  sitting
• 25:32
  there
• 25:33
  going,
• 25:33
  I
• 25:33
  can't
• 25:34
  remember
• 25:34
  that.
• 25:34
  You're
• 25:34
  already
• 25:35
  overwhelmed.
• 25:35
  Right.
• 25:35
  You're
• 25:36
  emotionally
• 25:36
  overwhelmed,
• 25:37
  and
• 25:37
  now
• 25:37
  you
• 25:37
  have
• 25:37
  to
• 25:37
  dig
• 25:38
  deep
• 25:38
  into
• 25:38
  the
• 25:38
  memory
• 25:39
  banks.
• 25:39
  Exactly.
• 25:40
  Well,
• 25:41
  that
• 25:41
  phone
• 25:42
  that
• 25:42
  took
• 25:42
  all
• 25:42
  those
• 25:42
  pictures,
• 25:43
  you
• 25:43
  want
• 25:43
  to
• 25:44
  start
• 25:44
  looking
• 25:44
  at
• 25:44
  those
• 25:45
  and
• 25:45
  go
• 25:45
  back.
• 25:46
  Anything
• 25:46
  that
• 25:46
  has
• 25:47
  the
• 25:47
  house
• 25:47
  or
• 25:48
  what
• 25:48
  you
• 25:48
  lost
• 25:48
  in
• 25:49
  it,
• 25:49
  save
• 25:49
  it.
• 25:50
  Then
• 25:50
  you
• 25:50
  go
• 25:50
  to
• 25:51
  your
• 25:51
  friends
• 25:51
  and
• 25:52
  say,
• 25:53
  do
• 25:53
  the
• 25:53
  same
• 25:54
  thing.
• 25:54
  Look
• 25:55
  at
• 25:55
  all
• 25:55
  of
• 25:55
  that
• 25:55
  stuff.
• 25:56
  Tell
• 25:56
  me
• 25:56
  what
• 25:57
  you
• 25:57
  have
• 25:57
  shared.
• 25:57
  The
• 25:57
  photos
• 25:58
  with
• 25:58
  me
• 25:58
  that
• 25:58
  you
• 25:58
  took
• 25:58
  at
• 25:59
  the
• 25:59
  parties
• 25:59
  at
• 25:59
  our
• 25:59
  house.
• 26:00
  Look
• 26:00
  at
• 26:01
  your
• 26:01
  social
• 26:01
  media.
• 26:02
  If
• 26:02
  you
• 26:02
  share
• 26:03
  photos
• 26:03
  about
• 26:03
  stuff
• 26:03
  on
• 26:04
  your
• 26:04
  house,
• 26:04
  you
• 26:04
  got
• 26:05
  photos
• 26:05
  up
• 26:05
  there.
• 26:06
  The
• 26:07
  next
• 26:07
  step
• 26:07
  after
• 26:08
  that
• 26:08
  is
• 26:09
  one
• 26:09
  of
• 26:09
  the
• 26:10
  harder
• 26:10
  ones,
• 26:10
  which
• 26:11
  is
• 26:11
  you
• 26:11
  go
• 26:12
  to
• 26:12
  the
• 26:12
  house
• 26:12
  and
• 26:13
  you're
• 26:13
  literally
• 26:14
  sifting
• 26:15
  through
• 26:15
  ashes.
• 26:15
  My
• 26:15
  friends
• 26:16
  and
• 26:16
  Ben
• 26:16
  told
• 26:16
  me
• 26:17
  that
• 26:17
  story
• 26:17
  and
• 26:17
  how
• 26:17
  hard
• 26:18
  it
• 26:18
  was.
• 26:18
  You
• 26:19
  seriously.
• 26:19
  And
• 26:20
  I
• 26:20
  saw
• 26:20
  the
• 26:20
  house
• 26:20
  while
• 26:20
  it
• 26:21
  was
• 26:21
  still
• 26:21
  in
• 26:21
  the
• 26:22
  state.
• 26:22
  State
• 26:22
  of
• 26:22
  ashes.
• 26:23
  Yeah.
• 26:24
  You're
• 26:25
  literally
• 26:25
  going
• 26:25
  through
• 26:26
  ashes
• 26:26
  to
• 26:26
  go,
• 26:26
  is,
• 26:27
  this
• 26:27
  was
• 26:27
  a
• 26:27
  pot
• 26:28
  of
• 26:28
  some
• 26:28
  kind,
• 26:28
  but
• 26:29
  it's
• 26:29
  melted.
• 26:29
  I'm
• 26:29
  not
• 26:29
  sure
• 26:30
  what
• 26:30
  it
• 26:30
  was.
• 26:31
  Now
• 26:31
  it's
• 26:31
  forensics.
• 26:32
  Right,
• 26:32
  Exactly.
• 26:33
  And
• 26:33
  the
• 26:33
  other
• 26:34
  thing
• 26:34
  is,
• 26:36
  hire
• 26:37
  a
• 26:37
  public
• 26:38
  adjuster,
• 26:38
  if
• 26:38
  you
• 26:38
  don't
• 26:38
  want
• 26:39
  to
• 26:39
  know.
• 26:39
  A
• 26:39
  public
• 26:39
  adjuster
• 26:40
  is.
• 26:40
  They
• 26:41
  are
• 26:41
  an
• 26:42
  adjuster
• 26:42
  who
• 26:43
  probably
• 26:43
  used
• 26:43
  to
• 26:43
  work
• 26:44
  for
• 26:44
  an
• 26:44
  insurance
• 26:44
  company,
• 26:45
  but
• 26:45
  now
• 26:45
  they're
• 26:45
  freelance.
• 26:46
  They
• 26:46
  work
• 26:47
  for
• 26:47
  you.
• 26:48
  They
• 26:48
  understand
• 26:48
  the
• 26:49
  process
• 26:49
  of
• 26:50
  working
• 26:50
  with
• 26:50
  insurers,
• 26:51
  and
• 26:51
  they
• 26:51
  can
• 26:51
  help
• 26:52
  you
• 26:52
  catalog
• 26:52
  all
• 26:53
  this
• 26:53
  stuff,
• 26:53
  and
• 26:53
  they'll
• 26:54
  walk
• 26:54
  you
• 26:54
  through
• 26:54
  a
• 26:55
  visualization
• 26:55
  process.
• 26:56
  It's
• 26:57
  tedious
• 26:57
  and
• 26:57
  hard.
• 26:58
  And
• 26:59
  the
• 26:59
  way
• 26:59
  it
• 26:59
  works
• 27:00
  is
• 27:00
  you'll
• 27:00
  sit
• 27:00
  there
• 27:00
  and
• 27:01
  you're
• 27:01
  standing
• 27:01
  at
• 27:01
  your
• 27:01
  front
• 27:02
  door.
• 27:03
  Okay,
• 27:03
  what
• 27:03
  do
• 27:03
  you
• 27:03
  see?
• 27:04
  Well,
• 27:04
  on
• 27:05
  the
• 27:05
  entryway,
• 27:05
  there
• 27:05
  was
• 27:06
  this
• 27:06
  table
• 27:06
  and
• 27:06
  a
• 27:06
  lamp.
• 27:07
  Great.
• 27:07
  The
• 27:07
  lamp
• 27:08
  is
• 27:08
  what
• 27:08
  you
• 27:08
  describe
• 27:09
  it,
• 27:09
  document
• 27:09
  it.
• 27:10
  The
• 27:10
  table,
• 27:11
  drawers
• 27:11
  in
• 27:11
  the
• 27:11
  table.
• 27:12
  How
• 27:12
  many
• 27:12
  drawers?
• 27:13
  What
• 27:13
  was
• 27:13
  in
• 27:13
  the
• 27:13
  drawers?
• 27:14
  Now,
• 27:15
  you
• 27:15
  have
• 27:15
  to
• 27:16
  do
• 27:16
  that
• 27:16
  for
• 27:16
  every
• 27:17
  single
• 27:17
  room,
• 27:18
  every
• 27:18
  single
• 27:19
  item.
• 27:19
  And,
• 27:20
  yeah,
• 27:20
  it
• 27:20
  takes
• 27:21
  a
• 27:21
  long
• 27:21
  time.
• 27:21
  You
• 27:22
  can't
• 27:22
  do
• 27:22
  it
• 27:22
  all
• 27:22
  in
• 27:22
  one
• 27:23
  day
• 27:23
  because
• 27:23
  emotionally
• 27:24
  you
• 27:24
  just
• 27:24
  get
• 27:24
  tired.
• 27:25
  Plus,
• 27:25
  it's
• 27:25
  physically
• 27:26
  tired.
• 27:27
  It's
• 27:27
  not
• 27:27
  uncommon
• 27:28
  for
• 27:29
  a
• 27:29
  claim
• 27:31
  for
• 27:31
  it
• 27:31
  to
• 27:31
  take
• 27:31
  up
• 27:32
  to
• 27:32
  a
• 27:32
  year.
• 27:33
  Excuse
• 27:33
  me.
• 27:34
  To
• 27:34
  get
• 27:34
  a
• 27:34
  claim
• 27:35
  filed
• 27:35
  when
• 27:35
  you
• 27:36
  don't
• 27:36
  have
• 27:36
  an
• 27:36
  inventory
• 27:37
  Just
• 27:37
  trying
• 27:37
  to
• 27:37
  remember
• 27:38
  it
• 27:38
  all.
• 27:39
  Wow.
• 27:39
  Wow,
• 27:40
  that's
• 27:40
  incredible.
• 27:41
  And
• 27:41
  I
• 27:41
  can't
• 27:42
  say
• 27:42
  that
• 27:42
  enough
• 27:42
  that
• 27:43
  a
• 27:43
  public
• 27:43
  adjuster
• 27:44
  is
• 27:44
  the
• 27:44
  way
• 27:44
  to
• 27:45
  go
• 27:45
  because
• 27:45
  you
• 27:45
  now
• 27:45
  have
• 27:46
  an
• 27:46
  advocate
• 27:46
  to
• 27:46
  sit
• 27:47
  there
• 27:47
  and
• 27:47
  go,
• 27:47
  no,
• 27:47
  no,
• 27:48
  no,
• 27:48
  that's
• 27:48
  not
• 27:48
  how
• 27:48
  it
• 27:49
  works.
• 27:49
  And
• 27:50
  I
• 27:50
  don't
• 27:50
  want
• 27:50
  to
• 27:50
  bash
• 27:50
  on
• 27:51
  the
• 27:51
  companies
• 27:51
  out
• 27:51
  there
• 27:51
  that
• 27:52
  are
• 27:52
  providing
• 27:52
  insurance,
• 27:53
  but
• 27:54
  they're
• 27:54
  a
• 27:54
  business
• 27:55
  as
• 27:55
  well
• 27:55
  and
• 27:55
  they're
• 27:56
  maybe
• 27:56
  not
• 27:56
  looking
• 27:56
  out
• 27:56
  at
• 27:57
  your
• 27:57
  best
• 27:57
  interest,
• 27:58
  they're
• 27:58
  looking
• 27:58
  out
• 27:58
  for
• 27:59
  their
• 27:59
  best
• 28:00
  interest
• 28:00
  for
• 28:00
  the
• 28:00
  company.
• 28:01
  So
• 28:02
  you
• 28:02
  need
• 28:02
  to
• 28:02
  have
• 28:02
  somebody
• 28:03
  on
• 28:03
  your
• 28:03
  side.
• 28:04
  You
• 28:04
  do.
• 28:04
  And
• 28:04
  the
• 28:04
  public
• 28:05
  adjuster
• 28:05
  is
• 28:05
  that
• 28:06
  person.
• 28:06
  The
• 28:07
  other
• 28:07
  one
• 28:07
  I'd
• 28:07
  suggest
• 28:08
  is
• 28:08
  find
• 28:09
  a
• 28:09
  lawyer
• 28:09
  because
• 28:10
  you're
• 28:10
  going
• 28:10
  to
• 28:10
  need
• 28:10
  them.
• 28:10
  You
• 28:10
  may
• 28:11
  not
• 28:11
  need
• 28:11
  them
• 28:11
  away,
• 28:12
  but
• 28:12
  find,
• 28:12
  talk
• 28:13
  to
• 28:13
  friends,
• 28:13
  find
• 28:13
  a
• 28:14
  good
• 28:14
  attorney
• 28:14
  who
• 28:14
  knows
• 28:17
  insurance
• 28:17
  law
• 28:18
  and
• 28:18
  understands
• 28:19
  that,
• 28:19
  and
• 28:19
  have
• 28:20
  them
• 28:20
  in
• 28:20
  your
• 28:20
  pocket
• 28:21
  because
• 28:21
  you're
• 28:21
  going
• 28:21
  to
• 28:21
  need
• 28:22
  them.
• 28:22
  The
• 28:23
  insurers,
• 28:24
  like
• 28:24
  you
• 28:24
  say,
• 28:24
  they're
• 28:24
  a
• 28:25
  business
• 28:25
  and
• 28:25
  they're
• 28:26
  trying
• 28:26
  to,
• 28:26
  their
• 28:26
  goal
• 28:26
  is
• 28:27
  to
• 28:27
  reduce
• 28:27
  how
• 28:28
  much
• 28:28
  they
• 28:28
  pay
• 28:28
  out
• 28:28
  to
• 28:29
  you.
• 28:30
  And
• 28:30
  when
• 28:30
  you
• 28:30
  think
• 28:31
  about
• 28:31
  it,
• 28:31
  an
• 28:32
  insurance
• 28:33
  policy
• 28:33
  is
• 28:34
  simply
• 28:34
  a
• 28:34
  contract.
• 28:36
  It's
• 28:36
  a
• 28:36
  business
• 28:37
  contract
• 28:37
  that
• 28:38
  defines
• 28:38
  the
• 28:38
  terms.
• 28:39
  Well,
• 28:39
  except
• 28:40
  that
• 28:40
  they
• 28:40
  define
• 28:41
  the
• 28:41
  terms,
• 28:41
  you
• 28:41
  don't.
• 28:42
  And
• 28:43
  a
• 28:43
  claim
• 28:44
  is
• 28:44
  a
• 28:44
  business
• 28:45
  negotiation,
• 28:46
  so
• 28:46
  that's
• 28:46
  the
• 28:46
  way
• 28:47
  they
• 28:47
  approach
• 28:47
  it.
• 28:47
  And
• 28:48
  their
• 28:48
  goal
• 28:48
  is
• 28:48
  to
• 28:48
  minimize
• 28:49
  what
• 28:50
  they
• 28:50
  pay
• 28:50
  out
• 28:50
  to
• 28:50
  you.
• 28:51
  And
• 28:51
  your
• 28:51
  goal
• 28:51
  is
• 28:52
  to
• 28:52
  maximize
• 28:52
  what
• 28:53
  they
• 28:53
  pay
• 28:53
  out
• 28:53
  to
• 28:53
  you.
• 28:53
  So
• 28:54
  you
• 28:54
  see
• 28:54
  the
• 28:54
  conflict
• 28:54
  that
• 28:55
  happens
• 28:56
  and
• 28:56
  that's
• 28:56
  why
• 28:57
  having
• 28:57
  the
• 28:57
  documentation
• 28:58
  puts
• 28:59
  you
• 28:59
  in
• 28:59
  so
• 29:00
  much
• 29:00
  of
• 29:00
  a
• 29:00
  stronger
• 29:01
  position.
• 29:01
  Without
• 29:02
  it,
• 29:02
  you're
• 29:02
  really
• 29:02
  weak.
• 29:03
  I
• 29:03
  mean,
• 29:03
  my
• 29:03
  friends
• 29:03
  in
• 29:04
  bend,
• 29:04
  they
• 29:04
  got
• 29:05
  42
• 29:05
  cents
• 29:05
  on
• 29:06
  the
• 29:06
  dollar
• 29:06
  for
• 29:06
  their
• 29:06
  claim
• 29:07
  and
• 29:07
  now
• 29:08
  try
• 29:08
  and
• 29:08
  figure
• 29:09
  that,
• 29:09
  you
• 29:09
  know,
• 29:09
  figure
• 29:09
  how
• 29:10
  you're
• 29:10
  going
• 29:10
  to
• 29:10
  recover
• 29:11
  to
• 29:11
  your
• 29:11
  lifestyle.
• 29:12
  You
• 29:12
  had
• 29:12
  with
• 29:13
  that.
• 29:14
  So
• 29:14
  these,
• 29:15
  this
• 29:15
  is
• 29:15
  why
• 29:15
  it's
• 29:15
  so
• 29:16
  important.
• 29:16
  And
• 29:16
  unfortunately,
• 29:17
  most
• 29:17
  people
• 29:18
  don't
• 29:18
  realize
• 29:19
  and
• 29:19
  learn
• 29:19
  this
• 29:20
  until
• 29:20
  after
• 29:21
  the
• 29:21
  fact.
• 29:22
  Yeah.
• 29:23
  And
• 29:23
  you
• 29:23
  think
• 29:23
  about
• 29:23
  it,
• 29:23
  you
• 29:24
  know,
• 29:24
  a
• 29:24
  great
• 29:24
  example.
• 29:25
  So
• 29:25
  your
• 29:26
  house,
• 29:26
  you
• 29:26
  had
• 29:27
  a
• 29:27
  10
• 29:28
  year
• 29:28
  old
• 29:28
  heating
• 29:28
  and
• 29:29
  cooling
• 29:29
  system
• 29:29
  in
• 29:30
  that
• 29:30
  thing
• 29:30
  that
• 29:31
  was
• 29:31
  working
• 29:31
  beautiful
• 29:31
  before
• 29:32
  you
• 29:32
  had
• 29:32
  that
• 29:32
  total
• 29:33
  loss.
• 29:34
  Well,
• 29:35
  that
• 29:35
  was
• 29:35
  a
• 29:36
  $5,000
• 29:37
  unit
• 29:38
  10
• 29:39
  years
• 29:39
  ago.
• 29:39
  And
• 29:40
  now
• 29:40
  because
• 29:41
  building
• 29:41
  code,
• 29:41
  you're
• 29:41
  going
• 29:42
  to
• 29:42
  spend
• 29:42
  22,000.
• 29:44
  These
• 29:44
  are
• 29:44
  things
• 29:44
  that
• 29:44
  you
• 29:45
  need
• 29:45
  to
• 29:45
  make
• 29:45
  sure
• 29:45
  you've
• 29:45
  got
• 29:46
  documented.
• 29:46
  So
• 29:46
  at
• 29:47
  least,
• 29:47
  you
• 29:47
  know,
• 29:47
  you
• 29:47
  could
• 29:47
  have
• 29:47
  the
• 29:48
  argument
• 29:48
  going,
• 29:49
  well,
• 29:49
  this
• 29:49
  is
• 29:49
  the
• 29:50
  only
• 29:50
  thing
• 29:50
  I
• 29:50
  can,
• 29:51
  could
• 29:51
  put
• 29:51
  in
• 29:51
  because
• 29:52
  that's
• 29:52
  what
• 29:52
  code
• 29:52
  is.
• 29:53
  And
• 29:53
  these
• 29:53
  are
• 29:53
  all
• 29:54
  the
• 29:54
  little
• 29:54
  things
• 29:54
  where
• 29:54
  that
• 29:55
  adjuster
• 29:55
  is
• 29:55
  going
• 29:55
  to
• 29:55
  help
• 29:55
  you
• 29:56
  through
• 29:56
  that.
• 29:56
  Exactly,
• 29:57
  exactly.
• 29:58
  And
• 29:58
  it's
• 29:59
  key
• 29:59
  because
• 30:00
  the
• 30:00
  adjuster
• 30:01
  is
• 30:01
  used
• 30:01
  to
• 30:01
  doing
• 30:01
  this.
• 30:02
  They're
• 30:02
  level
• 30:02
  headed.
• 30:03
  You're
• 30:03
  upset,
• 30:04
  you're
• 30:05
  not,
• 30:05
  it's
• 30:05
  not
• 30:05
  just
• 30:05
  that
• 30:06
  you
• 30:06
  lost
• 30:06
  your
• 30:06
  home,
• 30:07
  you're
• 30:07
  also
• 30:07
  angry
• 30:08
  because
• 30:08
  of
• 30:08
  what
• 30:08
  the
• 30:08
  insurance
• 30:09
  company
• 30:09
  is
• 30:09
  coming
• 30:09
  back
• 30:10
  with,
• 30:10
  with
• 30:10
  the
• 30:10
  two
• 30:11
  biggest
• 30:11
  complaints
• 30:11
  about
• 30:12
  insurers.
• 30:12
  First,
• 30:13
  the,
• 30:13
  the,
• 30:14
  the
• 30:14
  biggest
• 30:14
  complaint
• 30:15
  is
• 30:15
  the
• 30:15
  claims
• 30:15
  process.
• 30:17
  When
• 30:17
  you
• 30:17
  break
• 30:17
  it
• 30:18
  down,
• 30:19
  the,
• 30:19
  the
• 30:20
  details
• 30:20
  of
• 30:20
  that
• 30:21
  is
• 30:22
  people
• 30:22
  are
• 30:23
  upset
• 30:23
  about
• 30:23
  the
• 30:24
  low
• 30:24
  values
• 30:24
  they
• 30:25
  offer
• 30:26
  and
• 30:26
  the
• 30:26
  built
• 30:27
  in
• 30:27
  delays
• 30:28
  or
• 30:28
  insurer
• 30:28
  caused
• 30:29
  delays
• 30:29
  in
• 30:30
  the
• 30:30
  process.
• 30:31
  My
• 30:31
  friends
• 30:31
  and
• 30:32
  Ben
• 30:32
  went,
• 30:33
  it
• 30:33
  was
• 30:33
  coming
• 30:34
  up
• 30:34
  on
• 30:34
  two
• 30:34
  years
• 30:35
  when
• 30:35
  I
• 30:35
  believe
• 30:35
  there's
• 30:35
  a
• 30:37
  law
• 30:37
  that
• 30:38
  says
• 30:38
  the
• 30:38
  insurance
• 30:39
  claims
• 30:39
  should
• 30:40
  be
• 30:40
  settled
• 30:40
  within
• 30:40
  two
• 30:41
  years.
• 30:42
  Well,
• 30:42
  if
• 30:42
  the
• 30:42
  insurer
• 30:43
  can
• 30:43
  push
• 30:43
  past
• 30:44
  that,
• 30:44
  then
• 30:44
  they
• 30:45
  can
• 30:45
  start
• 30:45
  claiming
• 30:45
  you're
• 30:46
  not
• 30:46
  negotiating
• 30:46
  in
• 30:47
  good
• 30:47
  faith
• 30:47
  and
• 30:47
  they
• 30:47
  can
• 30:47
  cut
• 30:48
  you
• 30:48
  off.
• 30:48
  Yeah.
• 30:49
  And
• 30:49
  they
• 30:49
  literally
• 30:50
  had.
• 30:51
  The
• 30:51
  insurer
• 30:51
  stopped
• 30:52
  talking
• 30:52
  to
• 30:52
  them
• 30:52
  about
• 30:53
  three
• 30:53
  months
• 30:53
  before
• 30:53
  that
• 30:54
  date.
• 30:54
  This
• 30:55
  is
• 30:55
  where
• 30:55
  the
• 30:55
  lawyer
• 30:56
  came
• 30:56
  in.
• 30:56
  They
• 30:56
  had
• 30:57
  to
• 30:57
  sue
• 30:57
  to
• 30:58
  extend
• 30:58
  so
• 30:58
  they
• 30:58
  could
• 30:59
  finish
• 30:59
  their
• 30:59
  claim.
• 31:00
  And
• 31:00
  it
• 31:00
  wasn't
• 31:00
  their
• 31:00
  fault.
• 31:01
  No,
• 31:01
  of
• 31:01
  course
• 31:02
  not.
• 31:02
  And
• 31:02
  so,
• 31:03
  and
• 31:03
  then
• 31:03
  one
• 31:03
  other
• 31:04
  piece
• 31:04
  I
• 31:04
  want,
• 31:04
  I
• 31:04
  just
• 31:04
  want
• 31:05
  to
• 31:05
  give
• 31:05
  as
• 31:05
  a
• 31:05
  reminder
• 31:06
  for
• 31:06
  people
• 31:06
  out
• 31:06
  there
• 31:07
  and,
• 31:07
  and
• 31:08
  I
• 31:08
  want
• 31:08
  everybody
• 31:08
  to
• 31:08
  answer
• 31:09
  this
• 31:09
  in
• 31:09
  their
• 31:09
  own
• 31:09
  head
• 31:10
  and
• 31:10
  our
• 31:10
  wonderful
• 31:10
  audience
• 31:11
  out
• 31:11
  there.
• 31:11
  When
• 31:11
  was
• 31:11
  the
• 31:11
  last
• 31:12
  time
• 31:12
  that
• 31:12
  you
• 31:12
  went
• 31:12
  through
• 31:13
  your
• 31:13
  renters
• 31:13
  or
• 31:13
  homeowners
• 31:14
  policy
• 31:14
  and
• 31:15
  read
• 31:15
  that
• 31:15
  from
• 31:16
  the
• 31:16
  first
• 31:16
  word
• 31:16
  to
• 31:17
  the
• 31:17
  last
• 31:17
  paragraph.
• 31:18
  When
• 31:18
  was
• 31:18
  the
• 31:18
  last
• 31:18
  time
• 31:19
  you
• 31:19
  went
• 31:19
  through
• 31:19
  and
• 31:19
  understood
• 31:20
  the
• 31:20
  insurance
• 31:21
  that
• 31:21
  you've
• 31:21
  purchased?
• 31:23
  Exactly.
• 31:24
  Read
• 31:24
  your
• 31:24
  policies
• 31:25
  and
• 31:25
  something
• 31:26
  to
• 31:26
  note,
• 31:27
  these
• 31:27
  days,
• 31:28
  most
• 31:28
  insurers,
• 31:29
  what
• 31:29
  they
• 31:29
  deliver
• 31:29
  to
• 31:30
  you
• 31:30
  via
• 31:30
  email
• 31:31
  or
• 31:31
  whatever
• 31:31
  is
• 31:31
  a
• 31:32
  summary
• 31:32
  of
• 31:32
  the
• 31:32
  policy,
• 31:33
  not
• 31:33
  the
• 31:33
  policy
• 31:34
  that's
• 31:34
  in
• 31:35
  your
• 31:35
  account
• 31:35
  where
• 31:35
  you
• 31:36
  have
• 31:36
  to
• 31:36
  log
• 31:36
  in
• 31:36
  and
• 31:37
  download
• 31:37
  it
• 31:38
  and
• 31:38
  read
• 31:38
  the
• 31:38
  fine
• 31:39
  print,
• 31:39
  read
• 31:40
  about
• 31:40
  the
• 31:40
  process.
• 31:41
  Honestly,
• 31:42
  your
• 31:42
  insurance
• 31:42
  broker
• 31:43
  probably
• 31:44
  does
• 31:44
  not
• 31:44
  know
• 31:45
  the
• 31:45
  claims
• 31:46
  process
• 31:46
  because
• 31:46
  they're
• 31:47
  not
• 31:47
  involved
• 31:47
  in
• 31:47
  that.
• 31:48
  That's
• 31:48
  not
• 31:48
  what
• 31:49
  they
• 31:49
  do.
• 31:49
  They
• 31:50
  hand
• 31:50
  you
• 31:50
  off
• 31:50
  to
• 31:51
  the
• 31:51
  claims
• 31:52
  adjuster,
• 31:52
  which
• 31:52
  is
• 31:52
  a
• 31:53
  totally
• 31:53
  different
• 31:53
  person
• 31:53
  who
• 31:54
  has
• 31:54
  operating
• 31:54
  under
• 31:55
  different
• 31:55
  rules.
• 31:56
  You
• 31:56
  know,
• 31:56
  they're
• 31:56
  not
• 31:56
  trying
• 31:57
  to
• 31:57
  sell
• 31:57
  you,
• 31:57
  they're
• 31:57
  trying
• 31:57
  to
• 31:58
  pay
• 31:58
  you
• 31:58
  as
• 31:58
  little
• 31:58
  as
• 31:59
  possible.
• 31:59
  It's
• 32:00
  like
• 32:00
  going
• 32:00
  into
• 32:01
  a
• 32:01
  car
• 32:01
  dealership
• 32:02
  and
• 32:02
  asking
• 32:02
  the
• 32:02
  salesperson
• 32:03
  to
• 32:03
  go
• 32:03
  do
• 32:03
  the
• 32:03
  service
• 32:04
  on
• 32:04
  your
• 32:04
  vehicle.
• 32:05
  They
• 32:05
  got
• 32:05
  probably
• 32:06
  no
• 32:06
  idea
• 32:06
  how
• 32:07
  that
• 32:07
  process
• 32:07
  works.
• 32:08
  Even
• 32:08
  though
• 32:08
  it's
• 32:08
  in
• 32:08
  the
• 32:08
  same
• 32:09
  building.
• 32:09
  Exactly,
• 32:10
  exactly.
• 32:11
  And
• 32:11
  the
• 32:11
  other
• 32:12
  thing
• 32:12
  too
• 32:12
  is,
• 32:12
  is
• 32:13
  that
• 32:13
  I
• 32:13
  think
• 32:13
  that
• 32:14
  understanding
• 32:15
  that
• 32:15
  is
• 32:15
  really
• 32:15
  good
• 32:16
  because
• 32:16
  you
• 32:17
  know,
• 32:17
  first
• 32:17
  off,
• 32:18
  you're
• 32:18
  right.
• 32:18
  If,
• 32:18
  if
• 32:19
  somebody
• 32:19
  sits
• 32:19
  there
• 32:19
  and
• 32:20
  oh
• 32:20
  yeah,
• 32:21
  I
• 32:21
  read
• 32:21
  it
• 32:21
  was
• 32:21
  three
• 32:21
  pages
• 32:22
  wrong
• 32:23
  document.
• 32:23
  Yes.
• 32:24
  Gonna
• 32:24
  be
• 32:24
  like
• 32:24
  a,
• 32:25
  it's
• 32:25
  gonna
• 32:25
  be
• 32:25
  like
• 32:25
  a
• 32:26
  book.
• 32:26
  It's
• 32:26
  gonna
• 32:26
  be
• 32:26
  Like
• 32:27
  a
• 32:27
  countertop
• 32:27
  book
• 32:27
  when
• 32:27
  you
• 32:28
  go
• 32:28
  through
• 32:28
  reading
• 32:28
  that
• 32:28
  thing.
• 32:29
  Exactly.
• 32:30
  If,
• 32:31
  if
• 32:31
  you're
• 32:32
  reading
• 32:32
  a
• 32:32
  document
• 32:33
  at
• 32:33
  night
• 32:34
  because
• 32:34
  you
• 32:34
  have
• 32:34
  insomnia
• 32:35
  and
• 32:35
  it's
• 32:35
  putting
• 32:36
  you
• 32:36
  to
• 32:36
  sleep,
• 32:36
  that's
• 32:36
  probably
• 32:37
  the
• 32:37
  right
• 32:37
  document.
• 32:38
  No,
• 32:39
  but
• 32:39
  seriously,
• 32:39
  it
• 32:39
  is.
• 32:40
  You
• 32:40
  got
• 32:40
  to
• 32:40
  go
• 32:40
  online
• 32:41
  and
• 32:41
  you
• 32:41
  got
• 32:41
  to
• 32:41
  read
• 32:42
  it.
• 32:42
  And
• 32:42
  the
• 32:42
  details
• 32:43
  of
• 32:43
  that
• 32:43
  policy
• 32:43
  matter
• 32:44
  so
• 32:44
  greatly.
• 32:45
  You
• 32:45
  will
• 32:45
  have
• 32:45
  a
• 32:45
  much
• 32:46
  better
• 32:46
  understanding
• 32:47
  of
• 32:47
  what
• 32:47
  you're
• 32:47
  facing
• 32:47
  and
• 32:48
  that
• 32:48
  may
• 32:48
  motivate
• 32:49
  you
• 32:49
  to
• 32:49
  get
• 32:49
  the
• 32:49
  inventory
• 32:50
  done.
• 32:51
  Yeah,
• 32:51
  that
• 32:51
  is
• 32:52
  so
• 32:52
  smart.
• 32:52
  That
• 32:52
  is
• 32:52
  so
• 32:53
  smart.
• 32:53
  And
• 32:53
  this
• 32:53
  is
• 32:53
  so
• 32:53
  important.
• 32:54
  I
• 32:54
  mean,
• 32:54
  the
• 32:55
  same
• 32:55
  rules
• 32:55
  apply
• 32:55
  for
• 32:56
  somebody
• 32:56
  that's
• 32:56
  maybe
• 32:56
  even
• 32:57
  in
• 32:57
  an
• 32:57
  apartment
• 32:58
  or
• 32:58
  something,
• 32:58
  that
• 32:58
  they've
• 32:58
  just
• 32:59
  got
• 32:59
  renters
• 33:00
  insurance.
• 33:01
  Exactly.
• 33:02
  While
• 33:02
  you're
• 33:03
  not
• 33:03
  liable
• 33:03
  or
• 33:04
  responsible
• 33:04
  for
• 33:05
  the
• 33:06
  walls,
• 33:07
  everything
• 33:07
  in
• 33:07
  front.
• 33:08
  Well,
• 33:08
  and
• 33:08
  even
• 33:08
  the
• 33:08
  built
• 33:09
  in
• 33:09
  fixtures,
• 33:09
  but
• 33:09
  your
• 33:10
  stuff.
• 33:10
  And
• 33:11
  this
• 33:11
  is
• 33:11
  very
• 33:11
  much
• 33:12
  the
• 33:12
  case
• 33:12
  where
• 33:13
  a
• 33:13
  renter,
• 33:14
  unless
• 33:14
  they're
• 33:14
  a
• 33:15
  high
• 33:15
  end
• 33:15
  renter,
• 33:15
  they
• 33:16
  probably
• 33:17
  don't
• 33:17
  need
• 33:17
  me.
• 33:18
  Those
• 33:18
  steps
• 33:18
  I
• 33:19
  gave
• 33:19
  you
• 33:19
  to
• 33:20
  do
• 33:20
  yourself
• 33:21
  are
• 33:21
  going
• 33:21
  to
• 33:21
  go
• 33:21
  a
• 33:22
  long
• 33:22
  way
• 33:23
  to
• 33:23
  help
• 33:23
  you
• 33:23
  out
• 33:23
  should
• 33:24
  that
• 33:24
  happen.
• 33:25
  And
• 33:25
  you
• 33:25
  can
• 33:25
  do
• 33:26
  that
• 33:26
  within
• 33:26
  two
• 33:27
  or
• 33:27
  three
• 33:27
  hours.
• 33:27
  Especially
• 33:27
  if
• 33:28
  you're
• 33:28
  a
• 33:28
  renter
• 33:28
  and
• 33:28
  it's
• 33:28
  a
• 33:29
  smaller
• 33:29
  home,
• 33:29
  it's
• 33:29
  not
• 33:29
  going
• 33:29
  to
• 33:30
  take
• 33:30
  you
• 33:30
  very
• 33:30
  long
• 33:30
  to
• 33:30
  do
• 33:31
  that.
• 33:31
  Documentation
• 33:32
  having
• 33:32
  that
• 33:33
  is
• 33:33
  so
• 33:34
  critical
• 33:34
  for
• 33:34
  your
• 33:34
  renter.
• 33:35
  It's
• 33:36
  got
• 33:36
  to
• 33:36
  be
• 33:36
  interesting
• 33:36
  for
• 33:37
  you.
• 33:37
  And
• 33:37
  you
• 33:37
  talked
• 33:37
  about
• 33:37
  it
• 33:38
  with
• 33:38
  your,
• 33:38
  your
• 33:38
  trip
• 33:38
  out
• 33:39
  Midwest
• 33:39
  with
• 33:39
  the,
• 33:40
  you
• 33:41
  know,
• 33:41
  with
• 33:41
  the
• 33:41
  coin
• 33:42
  collection,
• 33:42
  but
• 33:43
  really
• 33:43
  detailing
• 33:43
  that
• 33:44
  stuff
• 33:44
  out
• 33:44
  so
• 33:45
  an
• 33:45
  expert
• 33:45
  can
• 33:45
  go
• 33:45
  back.
• 33:46
  If
• 33:46
  there
• 33:46
  is
• 33:46
  a
• 33:46
  claim
• 33:47
  process
• 33:48
  of
• 33:48
  knowing
• 33:48
  what
• 33:48
  it
• 33:49
  is,
• 33:49
  whether
• 33:49
  it's
• 33:49
  coins
• 33:50
  or
• 33:50
  stamps
• 33:50
  or
• 33:50
  art
• 33:51
  or
• 33:51
  anything
• 33:51
  else,
• 33:52
  the
• 33:52
  more
• 33:52
  data
• 33:53
  you
• 33:53
  have,
• 33:53
  the
• 33:53
  better
• 33:53
  off
• 33:54
  you're
• 33:54
  going
• 33:54
  to
• 33:54
  be.
• 33:55
  Well,
• 33:55
  and
• 33:55
  a
• 33:55
  key
• 33:55
  thing
• 33:56
  for
• 33:56
  that
• 33:56
  was
• 33:57
  that
• 33:57
  I
• 33:57
  was
• 33:57
  talking
• 33:57
  with
• 33:58
  my
• 33:58
  client
• 33:58
  about
• 33:59
  was
• 34:00
  you
• 34:00
  need
• 34:00
  a
• 34:00
  separate
• 34:01
  policy
• 34:01
  for
• 34:01
  this.
• 34:02
  All
• 34:02
  it
• 34:02
  needs.
• 34:03
  So
• 34:03
  I
• 34:03
  documented
• 34:04
  it
• 34:04
  so
• 34:04
  he
• 34:04
  has
• 34:04
  proof.
• 34:05
  So
• 34:05
  there's
• 34:05
  something
• 34:06
  there.
• 34:06
  But
• 34:07
  you
• 34:07
  really
• 34:08
  need
• 34:08
  that
• 34:08
  separate
• 34:08
  policy
• 34:09
  to
• 34:09
  get
• 34:09
  the
• 34:09
  full
• 34:09
  value
• 34:10
  if
• 34:10
  you
• 34:10
  lose
• 34:10
  it.
• 34:11
  But
• 34:11
  the
• 34:11
  wall,
• 34:12
  the
• 34:12
  work
• 34:12
  that
• 34:12
  we
• 34:12
  did
• 34:13
  is
• 34:14
  you
• 34:14
  can
• 34:15
  zoom
• 34:15
  in
• 34:15
  on
• 34:15
  any
• 34:15
  of
• 34:15
  these.
• 34:16
  You
• 34:16
  can
• 34:16
  see
• 34:16
  the
• 34:16
  dates
• 34:17
  and
• 34:17
  the
• 34:17
  marks
• 34:17
  and
• 34:17
  all
• 34:17
  that
• 34:17
  kind
• 34:18
  of
• 34:18
  stuff
• 34:18
  so
• 34:18
  that
• 34:19
  it
• 34:19
  is
• 34:19
  documented
• 34:20
  fully
• 34:20
  and
• 34:21
  it's.
• 34:21
  And
• 34:21
  again,
• 34:22
  artworks
• 34:23
  the
• 34:23
  same
• 34:23
  way,
• 34:23
  antiques
• 34:24
  the
• 34:24
  same
• 34:24
  way.
• 34:24
  Find
• 34:25
  that
• 34:25
  label
• 34:25
  on
• 34:26
  the
• 34:26
  bottom
• 34:26
  underside
• 34:27
  of
• 34:27
  a
• 34:27
  shelf
• 34:27
  and
• 34:27
  photograph
• 34:28
  it
• 34:28
  so
• 34:28
  you
• 34:28
  know
• 34:29
  the
• 34:29
  manufacturer,
• 34:30
  the
• 34:30
  artist,
• 34:31
  whatever.
• 34:32
  Nice.
• 34:32
  That
• 34:33
  is
• 34:33
  so
• 34:33
  smart.
• 34:34
  So,
• 34:34
  Ken,
• 34:35
  what
• 34:35
  have
• 34:35
  we
• 34:35
  missed
• 34:35
  here?
• 34:35
  I
• 34:36
  know
• 34:36
  there's
• 34:36
  so
• 34:36
  many
• 34:37
  details
• 34:37
  to
• 34:37
  this.
• 34:37
  Is
• 34:38
  there
• 34:38
  something
• 34:38
  that
• 34:38
  we
• 34:38
  haven't
• 34:39
  talked
• 34:39
  about
• 34:39
  that's
• 34:39
  super
• 34:39
  important
• 34:40
  here?
• 34:41
  Oh,
• 34:42
  boy.
• 34:43
  The.
• 34:44
  I
• 34:45
  don't
• 34:45
  know
• 34:45
  that
• 34:45
  we
• 34:45
  missed
• 34:46
  anything.
• 34:46
  But
• 34:47
  I.
• 34:47
  What
• 34:47
  it
• 34:47
  is,
• 34:47
  is
• 34:48
  I
• 34:48
  just
• 34:48
  can't
• 34:48
  emphasize
• 34:49
  enough
• 34:49
  how
• 34:49
  important
• 34:49
  it
• 34:50
  is
• 34:50
  to
• 34:50
  do
• 34:50
  this.
• 34:51
  And
• 34:51
  the
• 34:51
  best
• 34:51
  ex
• 34:52
  I
• 34:52
  can
• 34:52
  give
• 34:52
  is
• 34:54
  there's
• 34:54
  an
• 34:54
  adage
• 34:55
  in
• 34:55
  sales
• 34:55
  it's
• 34:56
  easier
• 34:56
  to
• 34:56
  sell
• 34:56
  a
• 34:56
  pain
• 34:57
  pill
• 34:57
  than
• 34:57
  it
• 34:57
  is
• 34:57
  a
• 34:57
  vitamin.
• 34:59
  I'm
• 34:59
  selling
• 34:59
  a
• 34:59
  vitamin.
• 35:01
  Most
• 35:01
  people
• 35:02
  don't
• 35:02
  want
• 35:02
  to
• 35:02
  think
• 35:03
  about
• 35:03
  that.
• 35:03
  You
• 35:04
  know,
• 35:04
  you're.
• 35:04
  You're
• 35:05
  sitting
• 35:05
  there.
• 35:05
  If
• 35:05
  it's
• 35:06
  like.
• 35:06
  Like
• 35:06
  most
• 35:06
  of
• 35:07
  us,
• 35:07
  I
• 35:08
  can
• 35:08
  do
• 35:08
  this
• 35:08
  improvement
• 35:09
  to
• 35:09
  my
• 35:09
  house.
• 35:10
  I
• 35:11
  can
• 35:11
  do
• 35:11
  this
• 35:12
  fun
• 35:12
  thing,
• 35:13
  vacation
• 35:13
  or
• 35:14
  something,
• 35:14
  or
• 35:15
  I
• 35:15
  can
• 35:15
  do
• 35:15
  a
• 35:15
  home
• 35:15
  inventory.
• 35:17
  Where
• 35:17
  do
• 35:17
  you
• 35:17
  think
• 35:17
  they're
• 35:18
  going
• 35:18
  to
• 35:18
  go?
• 35:18
  They're
• 35:18
  going
• 35:18
  to
• 35:18
  do
• 35:19
  one
• 35:19
  of
• 35:19
  the
• 35:19
  other
• 35:19
  two
• 35:19
  things
• 35:20
  because
• 35:20
  there's
• 35:20
  much
• 35:20
  more
• 35:20
  immediate
• 35:21
  benefit
• 35:21
  it.
• 35:22
  But
• 35:22
  when
• 35:22
  you
• 35:23
  really
• 35:23
  understand
• 35:24
  the
• 35:25
  amount
• 35:26
  of
• 35:27
  financial
• 35:27
  exposure
• 35:28
  you
• 35:28
  have
• 35:29
  without
• 35:29
  having
• 35:30
  an
• 35:30
  inventory,
• 35:31
  then
• 35:32
  you
• 35:32
  start
• 35:32
  coming
• 35:32
  around
• 35:33
  to
• 35:33
  understanding
• 35:34
  the
• 35:34
  importance
• 35:34
  of
• 35:34
  it.
• 35:35
  And
• 35:35
  I
• 35:35
  guess
• 35:35
  that's
• 35:35
  the
• 35:35
  biggest
• 35:36
  thing
• 35:36
  is
• 35:37
  we
• 35:37
  know
• 35:37
  this
• 35:37
  isn't
• 35:38
  fun.
• 35:38
  You
• 35:39
  know,
• 35:39
  there's
• 35:39
  a
• 35:39
  chance
• 35:39
  you
• 35:40
  may
• 35:40
  never
• 35:40
  use
• 35:40
  this.
• 35:41
  However,
• 35:42
  when
• 35:42
  you
• 35:42
  need
• 35:43
  it,
• 35:43
  it
• 35:43
  can
• 35:44
  mean
• 35:44
  hundreds
• 35:44
  of
• 35:45
  thousands
• 35:45
  of
• 35:45
  dollars
• 35:46
  to
• 35:46
  millions
• 35:47
  of
• 35:47
  dollars.
• 35:47
  I
• 35:47
  have
• 35:48
  heard
• 35:48
  the
• 35:48
  anecdotes
• 35:49
  from
• 35:49
  other
• 35:50
  adjusters,
• 35:51
  public
• 35:51
  adjusters,
• 35:52
  etc.
• 35:53
  Where
• 35:54
  even
• 35:54
  people
• 35:55
  of
• 35:55
  means
• 35:56
  who
• 35:56
  have.
• 35:57
  People
• 35:57
  who
• 35:57
  help
• 35:58
  them
• 35:58
  do
• 35:58
  these
• 35:58
  things
• 35:59
  are
• 35:59
  not
• 35:59
  adequately
• 36:00
  covered.
• 36:01
  And
• 36:01
  when
• 36:01
  they
• 36:01
  lose
• 36:02
  stuff,
• 36:03
  they
• 36:03
  lose
• 36:04
  huge
• 36:04
  amounts
• 36:05
  of
• 36:05
  money.
• 36:05
  So
• 36:05
  it
• 36:06
  really
• 36:06
  can
• 36:06
  affect
• 36:07
  you
• 36:07
  greatly.
• 36:07
  As
• 36:07
  I've.
• 36:08
  One
• 36:09
  story
• 36:09
  was
• 36:09
  large
• 36:10
  house,
• 36:10
  lots
• 36:11
  of
• 36:11
  artwork.
• 36:11
  And
• 36:11
  we're
• 36:11
  talking
• 36:12
  artwork
• 36:13
  of
• 36:13
  million
• 36:13
  dollars
• 36:14
  a
• 36:14
  piece.
• 36:14
  And
• 36:15
  more
• 36:16
  crazily,
• 36:17
  not
• 36:18
  properly
• 36:18
  insured.
• 36:20
  Lost
• 36:20
  it
• 36:20
  all.
• 36:21
  Wow.
• 36:22
  And
• 36:22
  did
• 36:22
  not
• 36:23
  get
• 36:23
  anything
• 36:23
  for
• 36:23
  that
• 36:24
  because
• 36:24
  they
• 36:24
  had
• 36:24
  no
• 36:24
  proof.
• 36:25
  And
• 36:25
  no
• 36:25
  separate
• 36:25
  policy
• 36:26
  that
• 36:26
  I
• 36:26
  keep
• 36:26
  harping
• 36:27
  on
• 36:27
  the
• 36:27
  separate
• 36:27
  policy.
• 36:28
  Hey,
• 36:29
  I
• 36:29
  agree
• 36:29
  with
• 36:30
  that.
• 36:30
  I
• 36:30
  didn't
• 36:30
  have.
• 36:30
  Up
• 36:31
  until
• 36:31
  probably
• 36:32
  a
• 36:32
  year
• 36:32
  ago,
• 36:32
  I
• 36:32
  didn't
• 36:32
  have
• 36:32
  a
• 36:33
  separate
• 36:33
  policy
• 36:33
  for
• 36:33
  my
• 36:34
  tools.
• 36:34
  I
• 36:34
  didn't
• 36:34
  have
• 36:34
  a
• 36:34
  separate
• 36:35
  policy
• 36:35
  for
• 36:35
  my
• 36:35
  artwork.
• 36:36
  Yep.
• 36:37
  And
• 36:37
  a
• 36:38
  little
• 36:38
  bit
• 36:38
  of
• 36:38
  my
• 36:38
  wife's
• 36:39
  jewelry.
• 36:39
  So,
• 36:39
  I
• 36:39
  mean,
• 36:40
  I
• 36:40
  didn't
• 36:41
  have
• 36:41
  separate
• 36:42
  policies.
• 36:42
  I
• 36:42
  went,
• 36:42
  oh,
• 36:42
  I'm
• 36:43
  covered.
• 36:43
  It's.
• 36:44
  It's
• 36:44
  a
• 36:44
  homeowner's.
• 36:45
  That's
• 36:45
  all
• 36:45
  in
• 36:46
  the
• 36:46
  house.
• 36:46
  And
• 36:47
  it
• 36:47
  really
• 36:48
  wasn't
• 36:48
  when
• 36:48
  I
• 36:49
  started
• 36:49
  talking
• 36:49
  to
• 36:50
  my
• 36:50
  agent.
• 36:50
  And
• 36:50
  again,
• 36:51
  not
• 36:51
  bashed
• 36:52
  on
• 36:52
  the
• 36:52
  online
• 36:53
  people
• 36:53
  out
• 36:53
  there
• 36:53
  that
• 36:53
  sell
• 36:54
  stuff.
• 36:54
  But
• 36:55
  I
• 36:55
  really
• 36:55
  want
• 36:56
  people
• 36:56
  to
• 36:56
  sit
• 36:56
  down
• 36:57
  and
• 36:57
  talk
• 36:57
  to
• 36:57
  a
• 36:57
  human.
• 36:58
  Yeah.
• 36:59
  Talk
• 36:59
  about
• 36:59
  what
• 36:59
  things
• 37:00
  are
• 37:00
  like.
• 37:00
  And
• 37:00
  if
• 37:00
  you
• 37:00
  can
• 37:01
  share
• 37:01
  some
• 37:01
  pictures
• 37:02
  and
• 37:02
  go,
• 37:02
  is
• 37:03
  this
• 37:03
  something.
• 37:03
  Get
• 37:04
  a
• 37:04
  good
• 37:04
  idea
• 37:05
  of
• 37:05
  what
• 37:05
  should
• 37:05
  be
• 37:05
  covered.
• 37:06
  Yeah.
• 37:06
  No.
• 37:07
  And
• 37:07
  I.
• 37:07
  I
• 37:08
  have
• 37:08
  a
• 37:08
  slight
• 37:08
  bias
• 37:09
  towards
• 37:09
  independent
• 37:09
  brokers,
• 37:10
  and
• 37:10
  that's
• 37:11
  just
• 37:11
  because
• 37:11
  they're
• 37:11
  not
• 37:12
  tied
• 37:12
  to
• 37:12
  one
• 37:12
  company.
• 37:13
  You
• 37:13
  know,
• 37:13
  it's.
• 37:14
  It's
• 37:14
  not
• 37:14
  that
• 37:14
  the
• 37:15
  branded
• 37:15
  brokers
• 37:16
  are
• 37:17
  bad
• 37:17
  or
• 37:17
  evil.
• 37:18
  They're
• 37:18
  not
• 37:18
  that.
• 37:19
  But
• 37:19
  the
• 37:20
  independent
• 37:20
  broker
• 37:21
  is
• 37:21
  not
• 37:21
  tied
• 37:21
  to
• 37:22
  one
• 37:22
  company,
• 37:22
  and
• 37:23
  therefore,
• 37:23
  they're
• 37:23
  going
• 37:24
  to
• 37:24
  have
• 37:24
  a
• 37:24
  little
• 37:24
  bit
• 37:24
  more
• 37:25
  of
• 37:25
  your
• 37:25
  interests
• 37:25
  at
• 37:26
  heart.
• 37:26
  And
• 37:26
  you
• 37:26
  can
• 37:27
  have
• 37:27
  these
• 37:27
  conversations.
• 37:27
  I
• 37:28
  mean,
• 37:28
  kudos
• 37:28
  to
• 37:28
  your
• 37:29
  broker
• 37:29
  for
• 37:29
  sitting
• 37:30
  down
• 37:30
  and
• 37:30
  telling
• 37:31
  you
• 37:31
  you
• 37:31
  need
• 37:32
  something
• 37:32
  separate.
• 37:32
  It's
• 37:33
  not
• 37:33
  a
• 37:33
  sales
• 37:33
  tactic
• 37:34
  to
• 37:34
  get
• 37:34
  more
• 37:34
  money.
• 37:35
  It's
• 37:35
  really.
• 37:36
  That
• 37:36
  is
• 37:36
  truly
• 37:37
  trying
• 37:37
  to
• 37:37
  protect
• 37:37
  you.
• 37:38
  I
• 37:38
  mean,
• 37:39
  homeowners
• 37:39
  policies
• 37:40
  are
• 37:40
  so
• 37:40
  relatively
• 37:41
  cheap
• 37:41
  compared
• 37:41
  to,
• 37:42
  like,
• 37:42
  an
• 37:42
  auto
• 37:42
  policy
• 37:43
  when
• 37:43
  it
• 37:43
  comes
• 37:43
  down
• 37:44
  to
• 37:44
  it.
• 37:44
  Right.
• 37:44
  It's.
• 37:45
  Yes.
• 37:46
  You
• 37:46
  going
• 37:46
  out
• 37:46
  and
• 37:46
  saying,
• 37:47
  wow,
• 37:47
  I
• 37:47
  covered
• 37:47
  that.
• 37:48
  I
• 37:48
  might
• 37:48
  have
• 37:48
  been
• 37:49
  paying
• 37:49
  another
• 37:50
  $50.
• 37:50
  I
• 37:50
  mean,
• 37:51
  it
• 37:51
  was
• 37:51
  stupid.
• 37:51
  How
• 37:52
  much?
• 37:53
  What.
• 37:53
  What
• 37:53
  having
• 37:54
  the
• 37:54
  proper
• 37:54
  insurance
• 37:55
  was,
• 37:56
  as
• 37:56
  far
• 37:56
  as
• 37:57
  the
• 37:57
  cost.
• 37:57
  It's
• 37:57
  not
• 37:58
  that
• 37:58
  big
• 37:58
  a
• 37:58
  deal
• 37:59
  considering
• 38:00
  what
• 38:00
  the
• 38:00
  loss
• 38:00
  is
• 38:01
  if
• 38:01
  you
• 38:01
  didn't.
• 38:02
  Oh,
• 38:02
  no,
• 38:02
  exactly.
• 38:03
  Exactly.
• 38:04
  I
• 38:04
  have
• 38:05
  a
• 38:05
  separate
• 38:05
  policy
• 38:05
  for
• 38:06
  my
• 38:06
  artwork
• 38:06
  and
• 38:06
  collectibles
• 38:07
  that
• 38:07
  I've
• 38:07
  gathered
• 38:08
  over
• 38:08
  time.
• 38:08
  And,
• 38:09
  you
• 38:10
  know,
• 38:10
  that's
• 38:11
  not
• 38:11
  a
• 38:11
  small
• 38:12
  number.
• 38:13
  Not
• 38:13
  like
• 38:14
  it's
• 38:14
  not
• 38:14
  even
• 38:15
  one
• 38:15
  piece
• 38:15
  of
• 38:15
  art
• 38:15
  compared
• 38:16
  to
• 38:16
  some
• 38:16
  clients
• 38:16
  I've
• 38:17
  had.
• 38:17
  But
• 38:18
  it's.
• 38:18
  It's
• 38:18
  a
• 38:18
  significant
• 38:19
  number.
• 38:20
  But
• 38:20
  the
• 38:20
  annual
• 38:21
  fee
• 38:21
  for
• 38:21
  that
• 38:21
  is
• 38:22
  actually
• 38:22
  really
• 38:22
  modest.
• 38:23
  The.
• 38:24
  The
• 38:24
  issue
• 38:24
  is
• 38:24
  you
• 38:25
  do
• 38:25
  have
• 38:25
  to
• 38:25
  get
• 38:25
  it
• 38:26
  appraised,
• 38:26
  which
• 38:26
  takes
• 38:27
  time
• 38:27
  and
• 38:27
  does
• 38:27
  cost
• 38:28
  money.
• 38:28
  But
• 38:29
  if
• 38:30
  anything
• 38:30
  is
• 38:30
  lost,
• 38:31
  the
• 38:31
  artwork
• 38:32
  and
• 38:32
  collectibles,
• 38:33
  which.
• 38:33
  They
• 38:34
  have
• 38:34
  value,
• 38:34
  but
• 38:35
  I.
• 38:35
  I
• 38:35
  mean,
• 38:36
  they
• 38:36
  have
• 38:36
  sentimental
• 38:36
  value
• 38:37
  because
• 38:37
  these
• 38:37
  are
• 38:37
  things
• 38:37
  from
• 38:38
  trips
• 38:38
  and
• 38:38
  personal.
• 38:39
  Very
• 38:39
  personal
• 38:39
  things.
• 38:40
  Yeah.
• 38:41
  So.
• 38:41
  And
• 38:41
  if
• 38:41
  you
• 38:42
  lose
• 38:42
  it,
• 38:42
  you
• 38:42
  don't
• 38:43
  get
• 38:43
  the
• 38:43
  personal
• 38:44
  connection
• 38:44
  back,
• 38:45
  but
• 38:45
  at
• 38:45
  least
• 38:45
  you
• 38:45
  get
• 38:45
  some
• 38:46
  sort
• 38:46
  of
• 38:46
  compensation.
• 38:47
  Yeah.
• 38:47
  I've
• 38:47
  got
• 38:48
  one
• 38:48
  piece
• 38:48
  I
• 38:48
  have
• 38:48
  to
• 38:48
  get
• 38:49
  appraised
• 38:49
  here
• 38:50
  as
• 38:50
  well,
• 38:50
  that
• 38:50
  I
• 38:50
  went
• 38:51
  online
• 38:51
  and
• 38:51
  went,
• 38:52
  oh,
• 38:52
  that's
• 38:52
  worth
• 38:53
  a
• 38:53
  lot
• 38:53
  more
• 38:53
  than
• 38:53
  I
• 38:53
  thought
• 38:53
  it
• 38:54
  was.
• 38:54
  There's
• 38:55
  a.
• 38:55
  That's
• 38:55
  always
• 38:56
  the
• 38:56
  surprise,
• 38:56
  too.
• 38:57
  Yeah.
• 38:57
  If
• 38:57
  you
• 38:57
  have
• 38:57
  appraisals,
• 38:58
  too,
• 38:59
  you're
• 38:59
  supposed
• 38:59
  to
• 38:59
  get
• 38:59
  them
• 39:00
  updated
• 39:00
  every
• 39:00
  two
• 39:01
  because
• 39:02
  the
• 39:02
  values
• 39:02
  change.
• 39:03
  Yeah.
• 39:04
  The
• 39:04
  updates
• 39:04
  are
• 39:04
  a
• 39:05
  lot
• 39:05
  less
• 39:05
  money
• 39:05
  than
• 39:05
  the
• 39:05
  initial
• 39:06
  appraisal.
• 39:06
  Yeah.
• 39:07
  Yeah.
• 39:07
  I've
• 39:07
  got
• 39:07
  something
• 39:08
  that's
• 39:08
  a.
• 39:09
  It's
• 39:09
  an
• 39:09
  event
• 39:09
  poster
• 39:10
  from
• 39:10
  the
• 39:11
  1957
• 39:13
  Monaco
• 39:13
  Grand
• 39:13
  Prix
• 39:14
  that
• 39:14
  I
• 39:14
  bought
• 39:14
  off
• 39:14
  the
• 39:14
  early
• 39:15
  days
• 39:15
  of
• 39:15
  ebay.
• 39:16
  That's
• 39:16
  an
• 39:16
  original.
• 39:17
  Nice.
• 39:17
  And,
• 39:18
  you
• 39:18
  know,
• 39:18
  it's.
• 39:19
  It's
• 39:19
  super
• 39:19
  cool.
• 39:19
  But
• 39:20
  I
• 39:20
  was
• 39:20
  looking
• 39:20
  at
• 39:20
  it
• 39:20
  online
• 39:21
  going,
• 39:21
  oh.
• 39:22
  Oh,
• 39:23
  wow.
• 39:23
  That
• 39:23
  went
• 39:23
  up.
• 39:24
  That
• 39:24
  added
• 39:24
  zeros.
• 39:25
  Okay.
• 39:25
  I
• 39:25
  got
• 39:25
  to
• 39:25
  pay
• 39:25
  attention
• 39:26
  to
• 39:26
  that.
• 39:27
  Oh,
• 39:27
  no,
• 39:27
  exactly.
• 39:28
  Exactly.
• 39:28
  When
• 39:29
  I
• 39:29
  had
• 39:29
  a.
• 39:30
  When
• 39:30
  I
• 39:30
  had
• 39:30
  mine
• 39:31
  updated
• 39:31
  recently,
• 39:32
  there's
• 39:32
  one
• 39:32
  painting
• 39:33
  and
• 39:33
  this,
• 39:33
  this
• 39:33
  is
• 39:33
  the
• 39:34
  one
• 39:34
  that
• 39:34
  is
• 39:34
  so
• 39:35
  mean,
• 39:35
  so
• 39:36
  much
• 39:36
  to
• 39:36
  me.
• 39:37
  It
• 39:37
  almost
• 39:37
  doubled.
• 39:38
  And
• 39:39
  I
• 39:39
  was
• 39:39
  just
• 39:39
  like,
• 39:39
  oh,
• 39:41
  pay
• 39:42
  more.
• 39:43
  Yep,
• 39:43
  absolutely.
• 39:44
  But
• 39:44
  it's,
• 39:45
  it's
• 39:45
  insurance.
• 39:45
  It's
• 39:46
  smart
• 39:46
  to
• 39:46
  have
• 39:46
  because
• 39:48
  all.
• 39:48
  And
• 39:49
  with
• 39:49
  art
• 39:49
  too,
• 39:49
  even
• 39:50
  more.
• 39:50
  So
• 39:50
  that
• 39:50
  could
• 39:50
  be
• 39:51
  a,
• 39:51
  that
• 39:51
  could
• 39:51
  be
• 39:52
  a
• 39:52
  bathroom
• 39:52
  bathtub
• 39:53
  overflowing
• 39:54
  upstairs.
• 39:54
  It
• 39:54
  could
• 39:55
  be
• 39:55
  something
• 39:55
  so
• 39:55
  simple,
• 39:55
  it
• 39:56
  doesn't
• 39:56
  have
• 39:56
  to
• 39:56
  be
• 39:56
  a
• 39:57
  tornado
• 39:57
  or
• 39:57
  a
• 39:57
  fire.
• 39:58
  It
• 39:58
  could
• 39:58
  be
• 39:58
  something
• 39:58
  very
• 39:59
  simple
• 39:59
  that
• 39:59
  gets
• 40:00
  that
• 40:00
  thing
• 40:00
  damaged.
• 40:01
  And
• 40:01
  now
• 40:01
  you're
• 40:02
  trying
• 40:02
  to
• 40:02
  make
• 40:02
  a
• 40:02
  claim.
• 40:03
  Exactly.
• 40:03
  But.
• 40:04
  And
• 40:04
  you
• 40:04
  just
• 40:04
  mentioned
• 40:05
  something
• 40:05
  you,
• 40:06
  and
• 40:06
  you
• 40:06
  had
• 40:06
  asked.
• 40:06
  Is
• 40:07
  there
• 40:07
  anything
• 40:07
  we're
• 40:07
  missing?
• 42:34
  So
• 42:34
  one
• 42:35
  more
• 42:35
  minute
• 42:35
  of
• 42:36
  climate
• 40:10
  change.
• 42:37
  So
• 42:38
  climate
• 42:38
  change
• 42:38
  and
• 42:38
  how
• 42:39
  it
• 42:39
  affects
• 42:39
  insurance.
• 42:41
  So
• 42:42
  we
• 42:42
  know
• 42:42
  that
• 42:43
  climate
• 42:43
  change
• 42:43
  is
• 42:44
  causing
• 42:44
  more
• 42:44
  frequent
• 42:45
  and
• 42:45
  stronger
• 42:46
  storms,
• 42:47
  whether
• 42:47
  it's
• 42:47
  hurricanes,
• 42:48
  tornadoes,
• 42:48
  or
• 42:48
  in
• 42:49
  the
• 42:49
  event
• 42:49
  of
• 42:49
  the
• 42:49
  west,
• 42:49
  in
• 42:50
  the
• 42:50
  west
• 42:50
  are
• 42:50
  fires.
• 42:51
  Yeah,
• 42:52
  much
• 42:52
  bigger
• 42:52
  fires.
• 42:53
  What
• 42:54
  that's
• 42:54
  happening,
• 42:55
  what's
• 42:55
  happening
• 42:55
  then
• 42:56
  is
• 42:56
  insurers
• 42:56
  are
• 42:57
  having
• 42:57
  to
• 42:57
  pay
• 42:57
  out
• 42:57
  more
• 42:58
  than
• 42:58
  they've
• 42:58
  ever
• 42:59
  had
• 42:59
  to
• 42:59
  in
• 42:59
  the
• 42:59
  last
• 43:00
  few
• 43:00
  years.
• 43:00
  They've
• 43:00
  been
• 43:01
  huge
• 43:01
  payouts,
• 43:02
  which
• 43:03
  is
• 43:03
  why
• 43:04
  insurers
• 43:04
  are
• 43:05
  leaving
• 43:05
  some
• 43:05
  markets
• 43:06
  like
• 43:06
  Florida
• 43:07
  and
• 43:07
  California,
• 43:08
  and
• 43:08
  we're
• 43:09
  starting
• 43:09
  to
• 43:09
  hear
• 43:09
  rumblings
• 43:10
  about
• 43:10
  it
• 43:10
  in
• 43:10
  some
• 43:11
  parts
• 43:11
  of
• 43:11
  Oregon
• 43:11
  and
• 43:12
  that
• 43:12
  sort
• 43:12
  of
• 43:12
  thing
• 43:13
  where
• 43:13
  you
• 43:13
  cannot
• 43:14
  get
• 43:14
  a
• 43:14
  policy
• 43:14
  anymore.
• 43:15
  And
• 43:16
  what
• 43:16
  that
• 43:16
  means
• 43:16
  for
• 43:16
  us
• 43:17
  as
• 43:17
  individuals
• 43:18
  is
• 43:18
  a,
• 43:18
  our
• 43:19
  rates
• 43:19
  are
• 43:19
  going
• 43:19
  to
• 43:19
  go
• 43:19
  up.
• 43:20
  I
• 43:20
  just
• 43:20
  saw
• 43:20
  a
• 43:21
  news
• 43:21
  story
• 43:21
  the
• 43:21
  other
• 43:21
  day
• 43:22
  talking
• 43:22
  about
• 43:22
  how
• 43:22
  they're
• 43:22
  going
• 43:23
  up.
• 43:24
  And
• 43:24
  then
• 43:25
  the
• 43:25
  second
• 43:26
  point
• 43:26
  of
• 43:26
  that
• 43:26
  is
• 43:27
  they're
• 43:28
  going
• 43:28
  to
• 43:28
  be
• 43:29
  much
• 43:29
  more
• 43:29
  difficult
• 43:30
  in
• 43:30
  their
• 43:30
  negotiations.
• 43:31
  They're
• 43:31
  going
• 43:32
  to
• 43:32
  be
• 43:32
  much
• 43:32
  harder,
• 43:33
  much
• 43:33
  more
• 43:33
  hard
• 43:33
  nose
• 43:34
  because
• 43:34
  they're
• 43:34
  trying
• 43:35
  to
• 43:35
  protect
• 43:35
  their
• 43:35
  profits.
• 43:37
  Which
• 43:38
  just
• 43:38
  leads
• 43:38
  me
• 43:39
  to
• 43:39
  say,
• 43:39
  again,
• 43:40
  you
• 43:40
  have
• 43:41
  to
• 43:41
  have
• 43:41
  the
• 43:41
  proof.
• 43:41
  Without
• 43:42
  proof,
• 43:42
  you
• 43:42
  are
• 43:42
  in
• 43:43
  a
• 43:43
  much
• 43:43
  weaker
• 43:43
  negotiating
• 43:44
  position.
• 43:46
  One
• 43:46
  other
• 43:46
  thing
• 43:47
  too
• 43:47
  that
• 43:47
  I'm
• 43:47
  seeing,
• 43:47
  and
• 43:47
  this
• 43:48
  is
• 43:48
  just
• 43:48
  a
• 43:48
  little
• 43:48
  side
• 43:49
  note,
• 43:49
  make
• 43:49
  sure
• 43:49
  you're
• 43:50
  maintaining
• 43:50
  your
• 43:51
  property.
• 43:51
  I
• 43:51
  am
• 43:51
  seeing
• 43:52
  companies
• 43:53
  out
• 43:53
  there
• 43:53
  that
• 43:54
  are
• 43:54
  name
• 43:54
  brand
• 43:54
  companies
• 43:55
  that
• 43:55
  are
• 43:55
  jumping
• 43:56
  on
• 43:56
  to
• 43:56
  either
• 43:56
  satellite
• 43:57
  companies
• 43:57
  or
• 43:58
  using
• 43:59
  Google
• 43:59
  Earth
• 43:59
  and
• 44:00
  stuff.
• 44:00
  And
• 44:00
  all
• 44:00
  of
• 44:00
  a
• 44:00
  sudden
• 44:01
  people
• 44:01
  are
• 44:01
  getting
• 44:01
  in
• 44:02
  an
• 44:02
  email
• 44:02
  or
• 44:03
  in
• 44:03
  the
• 44:03
  mail
• 44:03
  certified
• 44:04
  to
• 44:04
  them
• 44:04
  saying
• 44:05
  we
• 44:06
  see
• 44:06
  stuff
• 44:06
  on
• 44:06
  your
• 44:06
  roof
• 44:07
  and
• 44:07
  it
• 44:07
  looks
• 44:07
  like
• 44:07
  you're
• 44:07
  not
• 44:08
  maintaining
• 44:08
  your
• 44:08
  property.
• 44:09
  You
• 44:09
  have
• 44:09
  too
• 44:09
  many
• 44:09
  things
• 44:10
  out
• 44:10
  there.
• 44:10
  Yeah.
• 44:11
  Better
• 44:11
  get
• 44:11
  it
• 44:11
  done
• 44:11
  or
• 44:12
  we're
• 44:12
  going
• 44:12
  to
• 44:12
  cancel
• 44:12
  you
• 44:12
  in
• 44:13
  six
• 44:13
  days.
• 44:13
  Please
• 44:13
  send
• 44:14
  us
• 44:14
  new
• 44:14
  pictures
• 44:14
  once
• 44:14
  you
• 44:15
  have
• 44:15
  it
• 44:15
  handled.
• 44:15
  Yeah,
• 44:16
  there's
• 44:16
  a
• 44:16
  restoration
• 44:17
  company
• 44:17
  in
• 44:17
  Southern
• 44:18
  California
• 44:18
  that
• 44:19
  started
• 44:19
  up
• 44:19
  a
• 44:20
  separate
• 44:20
  well,
• 44:20
  call
• 44:20
  it
• 44:21
  subdivision.
• 44:22
  That
• 44:22
  is
• 44:23
  wildfire
• 44:24
  preparation
• 44:24
  for
• 44:24
  your
• 44:25
  landscaping.
• 44:26
  So
• 44:26
  how
• 44:26
  do
• 44:27
  you
• 44:27
  build
• 44:27
  that
• 44:27
  defense
• 44:28
  perimeter
• 44:28
  around
• 44:29
  your
• 44:29
  property?
• 44:29
  And
• 44:29
  all
• 44:29
  that
• 44:30
  which
• 44:30
  is
• 44:30
  all
• 44:31
  great.
• 44:31
  I
• 44:31
  mean
• 44:31
  for
• 44:32
  all
• 44:32
  the
• 44:32
  natural
• 44:32
  disasters,
• 44:33
  we
• 44:33
  have
• 44:33
  all
• 44:33
  kinds
• 44:34
  of
• 44:34
  advice
• 44:34
  on
• 44:34
  how
• 44:34
  to
• 44:34
  prepare.
• 44:35
  Yeah.
• 44:36
  And
• 44:36
  with
• 44:36
  that
• 44:36
  one,
• 44:37
  there's
• 44:37
  one
• 44:38
  piece
• 44:38
  they
• 44:38
  always
• 44:38
  mention
• 44:39
  do
• 44:39
  home
• 44:39
  inventory.
• 44:39
  It
• 44:40
  never
• 44:40
  gets
• 44:40
  done.
• 44:40
  But
• 44:41
  here's
• 44:41
  the
• 44:41
  thing,
• 44:42
  when
• 44:42
  it
• 44:42
  comes
• 44:42
  to
• 44:42
  that,
• 44:43
  if
• 44:43
  you're
• 44:43
  not
• 44:44
  prepared
• 44:44
  for
• 44:45
  a
• 44:45
  complete
• 44:45
  loss,
• 44:46
  you're
• 44:46
  not
• 44:46
  prepared,
• 44:47
  you're
• 44:47
  not
• 44:47
  fully
• 44:47
  prepared.
• 44:48
  Yep,
• 44:49
  100%.
• 44:50
  And
• 44:50
  you
• 44:50
  know,
• 44:51
  technology
• 44:51
  I
• 44:51
  will
• 44:51
  say
• 44:52
  is
• 44:52
  getting
• 44:52
  so
• 44:52
  good
• 44:53
  out
• 44:53
  there.
• 44:54
  I've
• 44:54
  talked
• 44:54
  to
• 44:54
  with
• 44:54
  some
• 44:55
  of
• 44:55
  these
• 44:55
  companies
• 44:55
  that
• 44:55
  if
• 44:56
  you
• 44:56
  lived
• 44:56
  in
• 44:56
  Southern
• 44:56
  California
• 44:57
  wildfire
• 44:57
  era,
• 44:58
  they
• 44:58
  come
• 44:58
  in
• 44:58
  and
• 44:58
  have
• 44:59
  high
• 44:59
  pressure
• 45:00
  sprinkler
• 45:00
  systems
• 45:01
  that
• 45:01
  they
• 45:01
  can
• 45:01
  put
• 45:01
  in
• 45:02
  with
• 45:02
  storage
• 45:03
  where
• 45:03
  they
• 45:03
  can
• 45:03
  literally
• 45:04
  put
• 45:04
  a
• 45:04
  fog
• 45:04
  of
• 45:05
  water
• 45:05
  over
• 45:05
  your
• 45:05
  house
• 45:06
  that's
• 45:06
  already
• 45:07
  plumbed
• 45:07
  in.
• 45:07
  There's
• 45:09
  smart
• 45:09
  devices
• 45:10
  now
• 45:10
  you
• 45:10
  can
• 45:10
  plug
• 45:10
  into
• 45:11
  your
• 45:11
  home
• 45:11
  that
• 45:12
  monitor
• 45:12
  your
• 45:12
  electrical
• 45:13
  system
• 45:13
  that'll
• 45:13
  tell
• 45:13
  you
• 45:13
  before
• 45:14
  you
• 45:14
  have
• 45:14
  an
• 45:14
  electrical
• 45:15
  short,
• 45:15
  you've
• 45:15
  got
• 45:15
  a
• 45:15
  problem.
• 45:16
  I've
• 45:16
  got
• 45:17
  a
• 45:17
  new
• 45:17
  product
• 45:17
  showing
• 45:17
  up
• 45:18
  my
• 45:18
  house
• 45:18
  right
• 45:18
  now
• 45:18
  that
• 45:19
  you
• 45:19
  plug
• 45:19
  in
• 45:19
  the
• 45:19
  wall
• 45:19
  that
• 45:20
  detects
• 45:20
  open
• 45:20
  flame
• 45:21
  in
• 45:21
  the
• 45:21
  room.
• 45:22
  Wow,
• 45:23
  that's
• 45:24
  very
• 45:24
  cool.
• 45:25
  I
• 45:25
  got
• 45:25
  that
• 45:25
  showing
• 45:26
  up
• 45:26
  here
• 45:26
  in
• 45:26
  the
• 45:26
  next
• 45:26
  week
• 45:27
  and
• 45:27
  literally
• 45:27
  I
• 45:28
  could
• 45:28
  go
• 45:28
  sit
• 45:28
  behind
• 45:28
  my
• 45:29
  couch,
• 45:30
  grab
• 45:30
  a
• 45:30
  lighter
• 45:31
  behind
• 45:31
  the
• 45:32
  couch
• 45:32
  with
• 45:32
  it
• 45:32
  being
• 45:32
  on
• 45:33
  the
• 45:33
  other
• 45:33
  side,
• 45:33
  hit
• 45:34
  the
• 45:34
  lighter
• 45:34
  and
• 45:34
  it
• 45:35
  will
• 45:35
  say
• 45:35
  open
• 45:36
  flame
• 45:36
  detected.
• 45:37
  Wow.
• 45:38
  So
• 45:39
  technologies
• 45:40
  is
• 45:40
  going
• 45:40
  to
• 45:40
  help
• 45:40
  us,
• 45:40
  but
• 45:41
  guess
• 45:41
  what?
• 45:41
  It
• 45:42
  still
• 45:42
  doesn't
• 45:42
  solve
• 45:43
  the
• 45:43
  problem
• 45:43
  that
• 45:44
  you
• 45:44
  still
• 45:44
  need
• 45:44
  to
• 45:44
  have
• 45:45
  this
• 45:45
  stuff
• 45:45
  inventoried.
• 45:46
  And
• 45:47
  Ken,
• 45:47
  thanks
• 45:48
  for
• 45:48
  coming
• 45:48
  on

  I

• 46:19
  On
• 46:19
  the
• 46:19
  website
• 46:19
  is
• 46:20
  a
• 46:20
  lot
• 46:20
  of
• 46:20
  the
• 46:20
  same
• 46:20

• 46:21
  that
• 46:21
  details
• 46:21
  it
• 46:21
  all
• 46:22
  out.
• 46:22
  There
• 46:22
  is
• 46:22
  also
• 46:23
  an
• 46:23
  actual
• 46:23
  inventory
• 46:24
  on
• 46:24
  there.
• 46:24
  You
• 46:25
  can
• 46:25
  walk
• 46:25
  through
• 46:25
  and
• 46:25
  see
• 46:26
  exactly
• 46:26
  what
• 46:26
  I
• 46:27
  deliver.
• 46:27
  And
• 46:28
  by
• 46:28
  the
• 46:28
  way,
• 46:29
  everything
• 46:29
  is
• 46:29
  in
• 46:30
  that
• 46:30
  3D
• 46:31
  model.
• 46:31
  However,
• 46:32
  also
• 46:33
  downloadable
• 46:33
  for
• 46:33
  the
• 46:33
  client
• 46:34
  is
• 46:34
  every
• 46:35
  photo
• 46:35
  that
• 46:35
  I
• 46:35
  take
• 46:36
  inside
• 46:36
  separately.
• 46:37
  It's
• 46:37
  all
• 46:38
  organized
• 46:38
  by
• 46:38
  room
• 46:39
  and
• 46:39

• 46:40
  That's
• 46:40
  downloadable
• 46:41
  for
• 46:41
  you.
• 46:42
  And
• 46:42
  when
• 46:42
  I
• 46:43
  do
• 46:43
  things
• 46:43
  like
• 46:44
  the
• 46:45
  model
• 46:45
  number,
• 46:45
  serial
• 46:45
  numbers
• 46:46
  and
• 46:46
  get
• 46:46
  to
• 46:46
  that
• 46:46
  level
• 46:47
  of
• 46:47
  detail
• 46:47
  or
• 46:47
  other
• 46:48
  individual
• 46:48
  items,
• 46:49
  I
• 46:49
  do
• 46:49
  schedule
• 46:50
  those
• 46:50
  on
• 46:50
  spreadsheets.
• 46:51
  So
• 46:51
  you
• 46:52
  have
• 46:52
  that
• 46:52
  scheduled
• 46:53
  and
• 46:53
  that's
• 46:53
  something
• 46:54
  you
• 46:54
  can
• 46:54
  build
• 46:54
  upon.
• 46:55
  You
• 46:55
  should
• 46:56
  build
• 46:56
  upon
• 46:56
  as
• 46:57
  you
• 46:57
  add
• 46:57
  more.
• 46:58
  And
• 46:58
  the
• 46:58
  other
• 46:59
  thing
• 46:59
  is
• 46:59
  with
• 47:00
  an
• 47:00
  inventory
• 47:01
  once
• 47:02
  you
• 47:02
  have
• 47:02
  it,
• 47:03
  maintain
• 47:03
  it.
• 47:04
  So
• 47:04
  for
• 47:04
  the
• 47:05
  next
• 47:05
  year
• 47:05
  have
• 47:06
  that
• 47:06
  whether
• 47:06
  it's
• 47:07
  on
• 47:07
  your
• 47:07
  computer
• 47:08
  or
• 47:08
  a
• 47:08
  physical
• 47:09
  one
• 47:09
  because
• 47:09
  some
• 47:09
  of
• 47:09
  us
• 47:10
  still
• 47:10
  like
• 47:10
  manila
• 47:10
  folders.
• 47:11
  Put
• 47:12
  your
• 47:12
  receipts,
• 47:12
  I
• 47:13
  oh
• 47:13

• 47:13
  have
• 47:13
  them
• 47:13
  on
• 47:14
  my
• 47:14
  desk.
• 47:14
  Yeah,
• 47:15
  put
• 47:15
  your
• 47:16
  receipts
• 47:16
  in
• 47:16
  there.
• 47:17
  And
• 47:17
  once
• 47:17
  a
• 47:17
  year
• 47:18
  all
• 47:18
  you
• 47:18
  have
• 47:18
  to
• 47:19
  do
• 47:19
  is
• 47:19
  take
• 47:19
  those
• 47:19
  receipts,
• 47:21
  find
• 47:21
  those
• 47:21
  items,
• 47:22

• 47:22
  them,
• 47:23

• 47:27
  That
• 47:27
