- 0:05Speaker 1: Now if you don't know this, a new James Bond
- 0:07Speaker 1: movie is in the works, and they reportedly started auditions
- 0:12Speaker 1: and now it's finally.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Angie and I did.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Chit chat a little bit yesterday about it. Who would
- 0:16Speaker 1: be a good Bond?
- 0:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I think Jacob Alordi.
- 0:21Speaker 4: A lot of people are saying, however, he's six foot five,
- 0:24Speaker 4: so I feel like that's a little.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Stands out a little bit.
- 0:27Speaker 3: He stands out a little bit. He can't be a
- 0:29Speaker 3: secret agent at six foot five.
- 0:32Speaker 2: But it's not You're not really secret exactly.
- 0:36Speaker 4: So who knows who was gonna be the official Bond,
- 0:40Speaker 4: Like everybody on the internet has their theories.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Yeah, so we'll have to wait and see. Well, there
- 0:46Speaker 1: have been rumors that they want to go younger, a
- 0:49Speaker 1: younger Bond.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Why.
- 0:51Speaker 2: I don't know. They just maybe trying to reach gen Z.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Oh that makes sense, Yeah, that makes sense.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Well, there are a few ways that could attract gen
- 1:02Speaker 1: Zers to go see James Bond.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Like his new catchphrase.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Might be his mushroom coffees will be shaken and not stirred.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I like that. Jen Z does not be drinking.
- 1:19Speaker 4: No, they don't, like they are not into a Martini.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Not really No, what about his new catchphrase here, Bond,
- 1:27Speaker 1: James Bond, don't forget to like and subscribe. The kids
- 1:31Speaker 1: are always saying that I've got a couple more of
- 1:34Speaker 1: these for it for you, all right? What about the
- 1:37Speaker 1: new James Bond to attract gen Zers? He can't drive
- 1:41Speaker 1: the Aston Martin because his social anxiety prevents him from
- 1:44Speaker 1: talking to the lady at the DMV.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Okay, that's my bad. James Bond is in a way
- 1:52Speaker 3: mow now.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Rolling around in an e bite. What about uh?
- 1:58Speaker 1: What if he has an arch nemesis doctor nocap?
- 2:02Speaker 2: Wow, not my best work. Okay?
- 2:07Speaker 1: What about his moniker is changed from I think you
- 2:10Speaker 1: know where this is gonna go, by the way, his
- 2:12Speaker 1: moniker has changed from double O seven to Double O
- 2:16Speaker 1: six seven.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I'm mad, I'm mad.
- 2:20Speaker 1: All right, I got two more for you here, Angie. Okay,
- 2:23Speaker 1: James Bond, you know how he says he's got the
- 2:24Speaker 1: license to kill? Yeah, Well, what about the new James
- 2:27Speaker 1: Bond to attract gen zers? He's got the license to vibe.
- 2:32Speaker 4: You've gotta build that aura.
- 2:36Speaker 2: That's right it. I have one more for you here, Angie.
- 2:39Speaker 1: In the new movie Bond will face his biggest challenge yet.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Writing and reading incursive gen Zers can relate. If you
- 2:49Speaker 1: have any joke along these lines, send them to us
- 2:53Speaker 1: seven oh one to eight zero one to nine eight seven.
- 2:56Speaker 1: How could James Bond attract the gen Z crowd?
- 3:00Speaker 4: What if he was like lokenuinely, you're under arrest.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Celebrating life's little victories every morning we practice gratitude on
- 3:14Speaker 5: Big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:16Speaker 6: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 3:18Speaker 6: basket job, bust it out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:21Speaker 5: Share your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 3:24Speaker 5: two eight oho one ninety eight seven.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Kids, I also needed to win that day.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Andrew, do you have a little victory for us today
- 3:32Speaker 1: other than you can see the sun?
- 3:34Speaker 4: Oh gosh, that could be the only little victory, and
- 3:37Speaker 4: I'd be thrilled. So I'm a huge fan of vander
- 3:41Speaker 4: Pump Rules, and I got my man's Mikey, to also
- 3:45Speaker 4: be into vander Pump Rules. So over Memorial Day weekend,
- 3:49Speaker 4: Mikey and I are headed to Las Vegas to stay
- 3:53Speaker 4: at the new vander Pump Hotel, which means we gotta
- 3:57Speaker 4: try to look our.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Best for that. So yesterday, we went over to the
- 4:00Speaker 3: West Acres.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Mall looking for our outfits to wear for when we go,
- 4:06Speaker 4: and I didn't find anything for myself want wah. However,
- 4:10Speaker 4: Mikey found two very nice shirts at Express that I
- 4:15Speaker 4: played Sugar Mama yesterday and I bought them for him.
- 4:18Speaker 4: And then when I saw the total, I was like,
- 4:20Speaker 4: I wish I didn't do that. But he saw his
- 4:23Speaker 4: two shirts that he's gonna wear for each night of
- 4:27Speaker 4: the stay at vander Pump Hotel when we go, and
- 4:30Speaker 4: I'm very excited for him.
- 4:31Speaker 3: He looked so good in them.
- 4:33Speaker 4: He thought that he was gonna have to wear a large,
- 4:36Speaker 4: but he's actually been on like his fitness grind and
- 4:39Speaker 4: it was like, no, no, sir, you have slimmed down
- 4:41Speaker 4: and you are now a medium. So it was just
- 4:43Speaker 4: a big win all around for a man's Mikey, and
- 4:46Speaker 4: I love that for him.
- 4:47Speaker 3: So his little victories are my little victory.
- 4:50Speaker 2: That is wonderful.
- 4:50Speaker 3: So when are you going to do that Memorial Day weekend?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Like, oh this weekend?
- 4:55Speaker 3: Oh no, no, no, it's the week after.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Oh okay, So the next thing, yeah, a good thing.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Well that should be a good time.
- 5:01Speaker 1: That should be I'm excited to see all of the
- 5:04Speaker 1: Instagram reels and photos that come from that.
- 5:07Speaker 4: I'm sure, Oh my gosh, you know, I'm not gonna
- 5:09Speaker 4: be able to help myself.
- 5:10Speaker 3: So yes, what about you, Gabe, what's your little victory?
- 5:12Speaker 1: You know, my little victory was Angie yesterday. So this
- 5:16Speaker 1: is kind of how it works at our house. And
- 5:18Speaker 1: I do not blame my wife Corey for doing this.
- 5:21Speaker 1: But whenever it's like we need to get groceries, Yeah, Gabe,
- 5:25Speaker 1: will you go get the groceries? Can I set up
- 5:28Speaker 1: the pickup order for twelve thirty one o'clock right? Well,
- 5:32Speaker 1: of course we can do that because there's no one there.
- 5:35Speaker 1: If you try to go do a pickup order at
- 5:37Speaker 1: four or five whatever a clock, you're gonna wait in
- 5:40Speaker 1: line for half an hour forty five minutes.
- 5:42Speaker 4: So even say on the app like this is our
- 5:44Speaker 4: busy time, come between four and seven.
- 5:48Speaker 1: So I don't blame my wife for setting it up
- 5:51Speaker 1: to where I'll just grab them when it's less busy.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:54Speaker 1: The problem is when I get home, then what do
- 5:56Speaker 1: I gotta do? Well, I gotta lug in all these
- 5:58Speaker 1: groceries and then put all these groceries by myself, which
- 6:01Speaker 1: isn't that big of a deal. But after you know,
- 6:03Speaker 1: the twentieth thirtieth time, and then you're putting stuff in
- 6:07Speaker 1: the wrong spot and getting you know, chastized for it,
- 6:10Speaker 1: You're like, okay, I'm done doing this by myself. All right,
- 6:14Speaker 1: we'll go at five and we'll sit there together for
- 6:16Speaker 1: an hour, get a coffee, and let's enjoy some time together.
- 6:19Speaker 6: Right.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Well, yesterday my wife worked from home, so for the
- 6:25Speaker 1: grocery pickup order, I had the magic pregnant fairy to
- 6:29Speaker 1: help me put these damn groceries away. And I could
- 6:32Speaker 1: not have been more thrilled.
- 6:35Speaker 3: That's so good.
- 6:36Speaker 1: It was wonderful to go grab those things, get home
- 6:39Speaker 1: and my lovely wife was home working away on her laptop.
- 6:42Speaker 1: And then she goes, oh, yeah, here, I'll help you
- 6:44Speaker 1: put these away. It's like, well, yeah, yes you will, Yes,
- 6:48Speaker 1: you will, so.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Taker put away heavy stuff.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Though round Oh no, godkay, god, no, I shouldn't have
- 6:55Speaker 1: to carry anything.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Okay, good, you're not a month.
- 6:57Speaker 1: No, I'm not a horrible guy. Yeah either way, gosh
- 7:00Speaker 1: did that bring a smile to my face?
- 7:02Speaker 3: I get it. I get it. This is am I
- 7:08Speaker 3: the problem. It's me Hi, the problem.
- 7:12Speaker 6: It's me.
- 7:13Speaker 5: We'll hear one side of the story and with your
- 7:15Speaker 5: help probably decide if it's right or if maybe you're
- 7:20Speaker 5: the problem.
- 7:21Speaker 3: That's right, I am the problem on Big ninety eight
- 7:25Speaker 3: point seven.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Let's jump right in. Hi, guys, I'm Eddie. My neighbor
- 7:31Speaker 4: is a really old dude who has a few cats,
- 7:33Speaker 4: and I feel like he's not taking care of them.
- 7:36Speaker 4: I found one of his cats in my backyard, looking
- 7:39Speaker 4: skinny as i'll get out, knocking on death's door. So
- 7:42Speaker 4: I took her in and I've had her for about
- 7:45Speaker 4: a month and she's looking healthy and strong. She eats
- 7:48Speaker 4: like a queen and gets along with my Doggo Well.
- 7:51Speaker 4: The old guy asked me a couple days ago if
- 7:54Speaker 4: i'd seen his cat, and I lied and said no,
- 7:57Speaker 4: because the poor cat was not doing well living with him.
- 8:01Speaker 4: I'm aware that technically I have sequestered the cat, but
- 8:04Speaker 4: morally aren't I right to keep her? He's basically starving her. Oh, Eddie,
- 8:12Speaker 4: I agree with you, and I don't know what that
- 8:15Speaker 4: says about me, but I feel like it took this
- 8:19Speaker 4: man a month to realize that the cat was gone,
- 8:22Speaker 4: to even ask about the cat that's crazy to me.
- 8:26Speaker 4: And clearly the cat was not doing well, and I
- 8:28Speaker 4: probably would have done the same thing if I were Eddie.
- 8:32Speaker 4: So that's wherever my moral compass is pointing. I don't know,
- 8:37Speaker 4: but that's how I feel. What about you, Gabe, what
- 8:40Speaker 4: do you think?
- 8:41Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:42Speaker 1: As a proud cat dad, this one's tough because you
- 8:46Speaker 1: want the cat to have a good life, you want
- 8:47Speaker 1: it to be doing well. Yeah, but I am a
- 8:49Speaker 1: bit curious because when you find a cat or an
- 8:53Speaker 1: animal and you, you know, in theory, nurse it back
- 8:56Speaker 1: to health. Yeah, no one is going to email Big
- 8:59Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven and say, you know what, the
- 9:01Speaker 1: cat actually wasn't looking that bad. I just bonded with
- 9:03Speaker 1: it and want to keep it.
- 9:05Speaker 2: So I'm I would.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Like to know just how disheveled this cat was looking
- 9:11Speaker 1: before I made a a a hard stance one way
- 9:14Speaker 1: or the other. Okay, you know, he probably needs to
- 9:17Speaker 1: give it back. Maybe it's an outdoor cat. And the
- 9:19Speaker 1: guy just hadn't seen it for a week and was like, oh,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I wonder if my cat's ever gonna come back, And
- 9:23Speaker 1: then after a while he finally went, Okay, my cat's gone,
- 9:26Speaker 1: So you know what I'm saying.
- 9:29Speaker 4: I didn't factor in that it could be an outdoor cat. Yeah,
- 9:32Speaker 4: that would make sense.
- 9:33Speaker 1: There are tons of people let their cats outside and
- 9:35Speaker 1: they're gone, yeah, day or two or three, and then
- 9:37Speaker 1: they finally make their way on back to the door
- 9:39Speaker 1: with a dead mouse or something like that.
- 9:41Speaker 3: See, I just don't know that life.
- 9:42Speaker 4: So because I don't have pets, so I feel like
- 9:44Speaker 4: maybe I'm not even qualified to talk about this.
- 9:47Speaker 3: What do you think?
- 9:48Speaker 4: Seven oh one to two eight o one nine eight seven.
- 9:50Speaker 4: We also have this up on the Big ninety eight
- 9:52Speaker 4: point seven Facebook page. Should Eddie give the cat back
- 9:57Speaker 4: even though he thinks the cat is being mistreating?
- 10:00Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, and that's another thing.
- 10:02Speaker 1: There are a lot of people who will think, oh,
- 10:04Speaker 1: this dog or this cat is super skinny. Yeah, I
- 10:07Speaker 1: need to feed it, and really it's probably at a
- 10:10Speaker 1: healthy weight the weight it should be, and then you
- 10:12Speaker 1: plump them up a little too much and then you go, oh, yeah,
- 10:14Speaker 1: now you're well fed. So was this cat really skinny
- 10:18Speaker 1: disheveled looking or was it probably just healthy and you
- 10:22Speaker 1: thought it was skinny? Now, if you know for a
- 10:24Speaker 1: fact that this thing, you know it's got as eye
- 10:26Speaker 1: hanging out of its socket and half a foot you know,
- 10:28Speaker 1: is missing. That's a bit different, But I would need
- 10:31Speaker 1: a little bit more information to really hard stance it
- 10:34Speaker 1: one way or the other. Either way, though, you probably
- 10:36Speaker 1: got to give it back, sadly, it's not yours.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Who knows.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Maybe it'll make its way back to you once it
- 10:41Speaker 1: goes outside again, because it knows, it knows where to
- 10:44Speaker 1: get treats and stuff.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Yeah, if you love something, let it go. If it
- 10:48Speaker 3: comes back.
- 10:48Speaker 1: At your heart, or if you're really that worried about it,
- 10:51Speaker 1: you could, you know, buy little bags of cat food
- 10:55Speaker 1: and leave it outside so at the very least you
- 10:57Speaker 1: know it's eating something.
- 10:59Speaker 3: I guess that makes sense. So just flat out kidnapping
- 11:03Speaker 3: a cat isn't fine. Well, let us know what you think.
- 11:06Speaker 1: If one of my cats got out, and you know,
- 11:08Speaker 1: someone's like, oh, this thing looks like garbage, it's like, well, no, Mike,
- 11:12Speaker 1: I love my I want my cat back, you know
- 11:14Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So it depends. This is a tough
- 11:16Speaker 1: one for me. I could see why you'd want to
- 11:19Speaker 1: keep it, you know, I'm sure you love it and
- 11:20Speaker 1: bonded with it.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Yeah, but that's why we need your helps, call us.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Let us know on the Facebook page. Should Eddie give
- 11:28Speaker 3: the cat.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Back a month?
- 11:36Speaker 1: It would take me like two minutes to figure out
- 11:39Speaker 1: my pet is missing. Heck no, he should not return it,
- 11:42Speaker 1: report the man. That's from Nick for am I the problem?
- 11:45Speaker 4: Oh?
- 11:45Speaker 3: I kind of love that because that's where I am.
- 11:47Speaker 4: So Eddie, his neighbor has cats. One of the cats
- 11:51Speaker 4: he found in his backyard looked real mal nourished, so
- 11:55Speaker 4: Eddie took the cat in, got them all healthy, got
- 11:58Speaker 4: the cat all healthy and stroke.
- 12:00Speaker 3: But a month after.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Having this cat in his possession, the neighbor came along asking, hey,
- 12:06Speaker 4: have you seen my cat? And Eddie lied and said no.
- 12:10Speaker 4: But the cat's been living with Eddie the whole time,
- 12:13Speaker 4: so he wants to know is there you know, is
- 12:16Speaker 4: he okay morally to keep the cat because the cat
- 12:20Speaker 4: was clearly being malnourished in his previous home. In her
- 12:26Speaker 4: previous home. The cat's a girl, I made. I looked
- 12:28Speaker 4: at the by the problem. I didn't want to get
- 12:31Speaker 4: it wrong. She's a girl, she's a queen. AnyWho, I think, yeah,
- 12:36Speaker 4: keep the cat. I'm with Nick, who said a month. Yeah,
- 12:40Speaker 4: if he's only asking for the cat back.
- 12:42Speaker 3: After a month.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Just didn't even realize, Oh, cat's gone. I think Eddie
- 12:47Speaker 4: should keep the cat. Gabe thinks, probably that's not the
- 12:51Speaker 4: morally correct thingw.
- 12:53Speaker 1: There's just too many factors I think to weigh in
- 12:56Speaker 1: one way or the other.
- 12:58Speaker 2: You know, do they does what's our guy's name, Eddie?
- 13:01Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 13:02Speaker 1: Does Eddie maybe live out more in a country area
- 13:04Speaker 1: where there's outdoor cats?
- 13:06Speaker 2: Do they live on off farm?
- 13:08Speaker 1: Is there is the cat actually disheveled and underweight or
- 13:14Speaker 1: is it probably a healthy weight?
- 13:15Speaker 2: And here in America we just overfeed our pets all
- 13:17Speaker 2: the time.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Well, Diane said, you did good. I'd say I thought
- 13:23Speaker 3: it was astray. It's mine.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Now. If he's getting forgetful, he's not caring for them,
- 13:27Speaker 4: so the priority is the cat.
- 13:30Speaker 3: You may have to put out.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Some food for him since he's failing. Are there more cats?
- 13:34Speaker 4: I mean, the neighbor does technically have more cats, so
- 13:38Speaker 4: saving one.
- 13:39Speaker 3: I feel like is better than saving none.
- 13:42Speaker 4: Julia said, I'd maybe just offer to come help him
- 13:45Speaker 4: care for his pets instead. It's probably better for all,
- 13:49Speaker 4: especially if he has more than just that cat. That
- 13:52Speaker 4: is hard, though, because you want animals to be well
- 13:54Speaker 4: cared for. Assume it's not intentional on your neighbor's part,
- 13:58Speaker 4: and it's just that he struggled link to properly care
- 14:01Speaker 4: due to his own limitations.
- 14:03Speaker 2: See there you go.
- 14:04Speaker 1: We also had Yolanduho said cat thief, but she did say,
- 14:10Speaker 1: definitely mention it's poor health and how you helped it.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Maybe just ask if you can keep it. That's kind
- 14:16Speaker 1: of the route I would go in real life. If
- 14:19Speaker 1: this happened to me, I'd probably just lie and say,
- 14:22Speaker 1: oh no, this is Leo I got it from.
- 14:25Speaker 2: You know, I'd probably just hang on to it.
- 14:26Speaker 4: Yeah, but this whole time you're over here acting like
- 14:32Speaker 4: you're so morally superior, but you would keep the cat.
- 14:36Speaker 3: You'd even lie and say it was a different name.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, name and something else.
- 14:41Speaker 1: We did have Jane who said I have too many
- 14:43Speaker 1: strays in my area. One of them comes back every
- 14:45Speaker 1: winter to take up residency in my cat hut. He's
- 14:48Speaker 1: been doing this for about six years. His name is Grayson.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Oh wow, Leah said, I think this happened to my cat.
- 14:56Speaker 3: She was gone for a month and finally came back.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Once cat gets out, it's gonna go back to its owner.
- 15:02Speaker 1: See there's just too many there's too many unanswered questions.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I have to really should you keep it or should
- 15:09Speaker 1: you not? Because what do we do the most with
- 15:13Speaker 1: And I'm not a parent yet, but with your kids
- 15:15Speaker 1: or with my pets, I always say how great they are,
- 15:18Speaker 1: how awesome they are, they're the best. We exaggerate all
- 15:22Speaker 1: the time about the good things or bad things that
- 15:25Speaker 1: they do. So it's too hard for me to know
- 15:27Speaker 1: if this cat is really not being cared for, if
- 15:31Speaker 1: you or if our boy Eddie just kind of bonded
- 15:33Speaker 1: with it and now he's trying to find any tiny
- 15:35Speaker 1: little excuse and make it sound horrible.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Well we can agree.
- 15:38Speaker 4: However, if this were a child and not a cat,
- 15:41Speaker 4: we're all on the side of return the child.
- 15:47Speaker 5: You know, the thing that you're thinking about, But you're
- 15:49Speaker 5: too polite to say we got you.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Who are you calling a coony queen.
- 15:56Speaker 5: Dying on the hill of controversial opinion so you don't
- 15:59Speaker 5: have to This is sorry, not sorry. On Big ninety
- 16:06Speaker 5: eight point seven.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Can we stop giving celebrities honorary degrees at graduation? You
- 16:13Speaker 1: mean to tell me that these students who spent years, four, five,
- 16:17Speaker 1: six years surviving finals week group projects with the one
- 16:22Speaker 1: person who never helps ramen noodles and student loans, and
- 16:25Speaker 1: then some celebrity gets to walk on in in the
- 16:28Speaker 1: same cap and gown and enjoy that same treatment.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I'm saying, absolutely not.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Okay, they didn't pull an all nighter writing a twelve
- 16:35Speaker 1: page paper at two am. They pulled up in a
- 16:38Speaker 1: black SUV ten minutes ago. All right, give the speech. Sure,
- 16:41Speaker 1: that's fine, wear a nice suit, that's great, inspire everyone
- 16:46Speaker 1: you can. But why are you dressing like you just
- 16:49Speaker 1: passed organic chemistry or thermodynamics?
- 16:51Speaker 2: Okay?
- 16:52Speaker 1: I want a separate outfit, and as a matter of fact,
- 16:54Speaker 1: I want a badge, a big, giant badge that says
- 16:57Speaker 1: I'm just here to talk.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I hate this.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I might be the only person on earth who is
- 17:04Speaker 1: this upset about this. But the fact that some guy
- 17:08Speaker 1: who's real good at throwing a football or can make
- 17:11Speaker 1: a nice movie, or some lady who can make a
- 17:13Speaker 1: nice movie or is the greatest tennis star on earth
- 17:16Speaker 1: gets to show up and dress the same as these
- 17:20Speaker 1: you know, hundreds of kids who have worked their bleeps
- 17:24Speaker 1: off to graduate. Okay, I don't want you looking like
- 17:28Speaker 1: the kids who work that hard. I don't want you
- 17:30Speaker 1: actually really involved, say your speech and go and then
- 17:35Speaker 1: and then, Angie, they get these honorary degrees, okay, and
- 17:39Speaker 1: of course I don't know what that means, so I
- 17:41Speaker 1: had to look it up. An honorary doctor, a doctorate,
- 17:44Speaker 1: a doctor of humane letters, doctor of letters, doctor of
- 17:47Speaker 1: fine arts, doctor of laws.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Do you know if you have one of these doctorates,
- 17:52Speaker 2: you can't do anything with it.
- 17:54Speaker 1: You can't go by doctor Glittin or work in that field.
- 17:58Speaker 1: So it really seems like this fake trophy we're handing
- 18:00Speaker 1: to just make someone feel better who's likely a millionaire.
- 18:03Speaker 3: So then it really doesn't make sense for them to
- 18:06Speaker 3: dress at all.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Tom Brady's good at throwing a football, okay, go inspire
- 18:11Speaker 1: like you inspired your team in the huddle to win
- 18:13Speaker 1: those seven Super Bowls. I don't want you dressing like
- 18:17Speaker 1: the kids who work their butts off. They should be
- 18:19Speaker 1: able to stand out and I don't know, get to
- 18:22Speaker 1: celebrate how hard they worked.
- 18:25Speaker 3: I am officially team Gabe on this one.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Do you agree with me or not? Am I my
- 18:31Speaker 1: weight to worked up about this? Seven oh one two
- 18:33Speaker 1: eight zero one eight seven Let me.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Know I need some good.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 18:44Speaker 5: Good News on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Today's Gab's Good News of the day.
- 18:50Speaker 1: It takes us to Morehead where a teacher is technically retiring,
- 18:54Speaker 1: but apparently her students aren't accepting that answer. After more
- 18:58Speaker 1: than thirty years with Morehead Area schools, Heidi Fisher is
- 19:02Speaker 1: wrapping up her career in the classroom. But when current
- 19:05Speaker 1: and former adapted sports athletes gathered around her this week,
- 19:09Speaker 1: one thing became very clear, and that it's her impact
- 19:12Speaker 1: has gone a long way.
- 19:14Speaker 2: She is a one of a kind person.
- 19:16Speaker 6: She's so Karen. She just has that spark in her.
- 19:20Speaker 6: She is the one in high school that never gave
- 19:23Speaker 6: up on me. Coaching is the fun part, but the
- 19:27Speaker 6: kids make it. I think you always have to have
- 19:30Speaker 6: something to look forward to, and this is something I
- 19:34Speaker 6: love and I will always look forward to it. Our
- 19:36Speaker 6: athletic director said you could stay as long as you want, Heidi.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Which was really nice, and that is the best part.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Retirement isn't really goodbye. She says.
- 19:44Speaker 1: She plans to keep coaching because, in her words, it's
- 19:47Speaker 1: something that she loves and really looks forward to. So
- 19:49Speaker 1: she might not be helping out with that math homework
- 19:52Speaker 1: or those English papers or whatever. But she'll still be
- 19:56Speaker 1: there doing adapted floor hockey and adapted bowling for those students,
- 20:00Speaker 1: which is very very cool and I think very sweet,
- 20:02Speaker 1: and it does give her something to look forward to,
- 20:04Speaker 1: something to do every year, every day.
- 20:06Speaker 4: Teachers are such an integral part when you talk about
- 20:10Speaker 4: it takes a village to raise a child, and so
- 20:13Speaker 4: to see a teacher making such a big impact in
- 20:15Speaker 4: the FM area is beautiful.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Broken crayons, they still color and the world is full
- 20:20Speaker 1: of nice people.
- 20:21Speaker 2: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
