- 0:52Speaker 2: Welcome.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Welcome to the Ready Set Collaborate anniversary year of my podcast.
- 0:59Speaker 2: I am so excited to have actually been doing this for a year.
- 1:03Speaker 2: November 2023 was when I started doing my Ready Set Collaborate podcast and I was told by one of my friends at Aline Dryden that says Wanda, you need to start doing podcasts.
- 1:15Speaker 2: I says, well, I don't know how to do podcasts, since I like to talk.
- 1:19Speaker 2: As you all know, I started my Ready Set Collaborate last November 18th to celebrate my birthday, which will be November 15th, and getting other entrepreneurs and my guests to talk about different things in their lives, as to what's going on and actually to educate and empower each other.
- 1:35Speaker 2: So I have various series and I am so proud to say that I have over 848 downloads since it's published and more so.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Episodes published.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Was's published and more so.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Episodes published was 51 and more is coming.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I wanted to reflect on the inspiration of behind me starting the Ready Set Collaborate podcast.
- 1:54Speaker 2: It's been a journey.
- 1:56Speaker 2: It's been great because I'm learning from my guests of the different things that we talked about.
- 2:01Speaker 2: What I've learned is some of the expertise that actually shared their journey and how they got to where they are and how they share their tips, with other, with my audience.
- 2:14Speaker 2: It's been a it's been a blessing.
- 2:15Speaker 2: It really has been a blessing and a memorable blessing as well.
- 2:17Speaker 2: So some of my highlights that I actually want to talk about it's actually my the Art of Book Collaboration.
- 2:25Speaker 2: All of my podcasts used to begin with the art.
- 2:27Speaker 2: So the Art of Book Collaboration and the Art of Networking and Collaboration.
- 2:31Speaker 2: So those two were some of my favorite series that I started and there's various episodes in these series, but the Art of Collaboration was how I started, since I left corporate to collaborate with other entrepreneurs, and how we can be successful.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I always say the key to collaboration is success or the collaboration is the key to success.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I should say so.
- 2:55Speaker 2: That has been one of my favorite but also the biggest one is actually the book collaboration which I started with one of the young ladies, sina Cole.
- 3:04Speaker 2: You're going to hear from her on one of my episodes coming up when she said God told me to call you and I don't disobey God.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Okay, what'd he say?
- 3:10Speaker 2: I was able to do that collaboration with her with the audacity to shine.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I love the title of that.
- 3:16Speaker 2: So we accomplished that with nine other young ladies and also my other book collaboration with RV Robinson, the Impact of One Voice, which is actually number one on the bestseller on Amazon and also Barnes Noble.
- 3:28Speaker 2: So I was proud to do that.
- 3:30Speaker 2: They gave me my expertise on learning how to write a book or how to be in part of a book.
- 3:34Speaker 2: But then I said you know what I need to have my own story.
- 3:38Speaker 2: So I created my own book, self-published God Scrapes Through the Fire from Struggle to Triumph.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I put my whole story into what I went through as a child, as far as the abuse and the mental anguish and the mental forgiveness.
- 3:52Speaker 2: All of that is in my book, the God's Grace Through the Fire from Struggle to Triumph.
- 3:56Speaker 2: If you'd like a copy, please let me know.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I definitely would love to send you a copy, because after each chapter I put a journal.
- 4:03Speaker 2: So we all go through different things in our lives, but what we need to do is reflect on them and to forgive.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Forgiveness was the hardest part of my life and I still ask God to help me to forgive things that happen, even as me growing up, as far as things that happened to me as I got older, as I go through different situations in my life.
- 4:22Speaker 2: You always have to ask for forgiveness, because that's where your blessings come from, god.
- 4:26Speaker 2: You can't forgive others and forgive yourself.
- 4:28Speaker 2: So those are some of the highlights, but the biggest one that I actually highlight is actually my the art of relationships.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I had four young ladies which was great, that talked about relationships and it was such a blessing to have them on and I had expertise that actually came on and talked about that.
- 4:45Speaker 2: It was actually let's see the art of relationships where Rachel Davis, when she talks about embracing self-love, understanding the opposite sex and mastering relationships, that mimics.
- 4:56Speaker 2: That was a great one.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Also with God's Out, god's Acute I'm sorry I may be messing up your name, fari, but hers is about childhood trials into relationship wisdom.
- 5:06Speaker 2: That was a great one too.
- 5:08Speaker 2: And then I had another one about boundaries, with navigating art, relationships, mastering connection, boundary setting and conflict management, with Pamela Bird.
- 5:17Speaker 2: That was another great one.
- 5:19Speaker 2: And my last one is about self-care how nurturing bonds to reflex on in yoga, by Evie Fleming.
- 5:25Speaker 2: You all have to go back and listen to these episodes, all of my episodes, because you really learn.
- 5:30Speaker 2: It's a wealth of knowledge that we are learning from all of these ladies here.
- 5:34Speaker 2: So those are some of my series, but also my favorite was collaboration of connections, collaboration and connections.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Collaborating and connections is what really builds our relationship to build a business, to help our business grow together and also to help each other.
- 5:50Speaker 2: That was one of my great ones Marketing and marketing, branding and content marketing and branding.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I had my own marketing manager, diane Freeman, that talks about marketing and how she helps me with my social media.
- 6:04Speaker 2: That actually was such a pleasure to actually handle those reins to her so she can actually take some pressure off of me from doing so much with podcasts and networking and they call me the networking queen.
- 6:15Speaker 2: So having access to someone that I met through my business Legal Shield, she was a client of mine and she saw what I was doing and she wanted to help.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I truly appreciate you, diane, for everything that you do.
- 6:25Speaker 2: That actually helps me get these podcasts out as well.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Podcasters, which is what I'm doing.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I have professional podcasters, series on the different podcasters.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Everybody has a different way of doing their podcast.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I had them on, so please make sure you go back and listen to these series.
- 6:40Speaker 2: And special editions was actually one with senior care with Esther and Anne.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Make sure you listen to that as well.
- 6:48Speaker 2: That was a great one here, but the great one that I actually just did is a special edition was a Black Wall Street with Victor Lucanson.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Make sure you listen to that one.
- 6:56Speaker 2: And last one for October was Breast Cancer Awareness with Tammy Lewis.
- 7:02Speaker 2: She gives so insightful insight about awareness of cancer, her going through her journey and how people can actually make it more helpful to get some of the tips from her.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Those different series of just a few of what I'm doing here and I'm actually doing this one here is my special edition for celebrating my one year of cancer Ready Set Collaborate with Wanda Pearson the top collaborations, like I said, was all of those and, like I said, I began it with the art, but what I'm doing now is actually getting more into the experts on the different series that I have.
