- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawkrel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
- 0:22Speaker 1: a new mindset, and another day for you to become
- 0:24Speaker 1: the Hawkgral energy you want to attract. Hello you guys,
- 0:28Speaker 1: Happy Wednesday, and welcome back to another episode. I apologize
- 0:33Speaker 1: and advance for not posting last week. Last week was
- 0:37Speaker 1: literally the most insane week with a bunch of things
- 0:41Speaker 1: with work because obviously with Black Friday this week, there
- 0:44Speaker 1: was a bunch of ads that I had to submit
- 0:47Speaker 1: by a specific timeframe with buying a new vehicle, which
- 0:50Speaker 1: was extremely time consuming, just signing paperwork, finding time to
- 0:54Speaker 1: go pick up the car, all that. And on top
- 0:57Speaker 1: of all that, I had a bit of a I
- 0:59Speaker 1: want to say, like a little health scare that week
- 1:01Speaker 1: that I didn't really talk about on my social media,
- 1:03Speaker 1: but it was almost like a wake up call to
- 1:05Speaker 1: me specifically just to like reevaluate my routine and just
- 1:10Speaker 1: getting back into some certain healthy habits. So all in all,
- 1:15Speaker 1: there was a lot of tears last week, A lot
- 1:16Speaker 1: of happy tears, a lot of sad tears, Like I
- 1:18Speaker 1: don't know, it was just like kind of a crazy
- 1:20Speaker 1: week for me. But I feel like everything happens for
- 1:24Speaker 1: a reason. I'm very much a believer in that, and
- 1:26Speaker 1: I don't know, I just had a bit of a
- 1:28Speaker 1: panic attack last week because I think I just wasn't
- 1:30Speaker 1: really listening to my body and I wasn't taking care
- 1:32Speaker 1: of it. And of course, you know, you can do
- 1:34Speaker 1: all these workouts and you can eat healthy foods, but
- 1:36Speaker 1: you're not always going to be feeling one hundred percent.
- 1:39Speaker 1: There's other things that you need to keep in mind.
- 1:41Speaker 1: And I think one thing for me that I always
- 1:43Speaker 1: struggle with is dealing with my stress and managing it
- 1:47Speaker 1: and telling my body to rest. I really do suck
- 1:50Speaker 1: at that. And I was just having some symptoms that
- 1:53Speaker 1: just really woke me up. Like I was having extreme
- 1:55Speaker 1: hair loss last week, and that's a huge sign of
- 1:58Speaker 1: being overly stressed. I was constantly having a tight chest,
- 2:02Speaker 1: just to name a few symptoms that were happening last week.
- 2:04Speaker 2: And I knew in that moment, I was like, I.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Am overworking myself, I'm overstressing myself out. I really need
- 2:11Speaker 1: to take a step back and just relax and not
- 2:14Speaker 1: put too much pressure on myself. So this is your
- 2:17Speaker 1: sign that it's okay to let your body rest and
- 2:20Speaker 1: to not overdo it. And I think I was just
- 2:22Speaker 1: overdoing it these past few weeks. So all in all,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I just really had a bit of a wake up
- 2:27Speaker 1: call last week, and I'm like, I need to do
- 2:28Speaker 1: things that you know, allow my body to slow down
- 2:31Speaker 1: and just take a step back and do things that
- 2:35Speaker 1: help manage my stress better.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I e.
- 2:37Speaker 1: You know, getting back into meditation in the mornings and
- 2:40Speaker 1: at night, even if it's just for five to ten minutes,
- 2:42Speaker 1: trying to do more slow breathing, you know, reevaluating my
- 2:46Speaker 1: to do lists and planners, and being more realistic about
- 2:49Speaker 1: what I can actually achieve throughout the day.
- 2:51Speaker 2: All that. Like, there's multiple things that I can do.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I think going into the new year, I really want
- 2:55Speaker 1: to manage these things beforehand. And I'm just feeling more
- 2:58Speaker 1: motivated to get my shit in gear again. And you
- 3:02Speaker 1: guys know me, whenever we enter a new year, I'm
- 3:04Speaker 1: feeling so motivated going into every single year because I'm
- 3:08Speaker 1: excited about things that we want to achieve for ourselves
- 3:10Speaker 1: and just overall becoming our best selves. So this episode
- 3:14Speaker 1: today is really going to be about.
- 3:15Speaker 2: The Winter Arc era.
- 3:16Speaker 1: And I'm sure a lot of you guys have probably
- 3:17Speaker 1: heard of this all over social media, but the Winter
- 3:20Speaker 1: Arc is essentially doing everything that you want to achieve
- 3:23Speaker 1: for yourself before the end of the year. Like, why
- 3:26Speaker 1: are we starting in twenty twenty five, Let's start now.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I personally feel like I've just had this extra motivation
- 3:31Speaker 1: this week to really just get back into certain habits
- 3:35Speaker 1: and certain things just to better my health, to feel
- 3:37Speaker 1: better for myself all that, and we're gonna talk a
- 3:40Speaker 1: lot about it in today's episode, But personally, just one
- 3:43Speaker 1: thing for me that I found has really helped and
- 3:46Speaker 1: just helped manage my stress better and all that is
- 3:48Speaker 1: getting up earlier again, because I think one thing for
- 3:50Speaker 1: me is, you know, even just sleeping in an extra
- 3:53Speaker 1: hour and not making my workout class as a priority
- 3:56Speaker 1: or whatever the case may be, it kind of fucked
- 4:00Speaker 1: my day to be fully transparent, Like I personally find
- 4:03Speaker 1: waking up and getting a workout in at six thirty
- 4:05Speaker 1: or seven o'clock and then coming home and not having
- 4:08Speaker 1: to worry about that, like that's one thing that's already done.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I just come home ten times more motivated, and I.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Think that's something that I just forget sometimes I think, Oh,
- 4:17Speaker 1: if I do a workout class at noon, it's not
- 4:19Speaker 1: a big deal, Like, you know, I'll still.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Get a workout end for the day.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I think for me, I think just getting that out
- 4:25Speaker 1: of the way in the beginning of the day, it's
- 4:27Speaker 1: just one less thing to worry about and I can
- 4:28Speaker 1: focus on everything else that I need to get done
- 4:30Speaker 1: throughout the day. So for me personally, I realized how
- 4:33Speaker 1: much I actually enjoy just getting everything done in one shot,
- 4:37Speaker 1: specifically in the early mornings. So I've been back at
- 4:40Speaker 1: my five thirty in the morning routine, and honestly, I've
- 4:44Speaker 1: been loving it. And I think it was just a
- 4:46Speaker 1: wake up call to me to just get back into that,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and I feel good throughout my day. I feel more
- 4:50Speaker 1: productive throughout my day knowing that my workout's done, you know,
- 4:54Speaker 1: my journaling's done, my to do list is done, all that.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Like I just feel ten times more productive when I
- 4:59Speaker 1: wake up earlier, And like that's literally waking up an
- 5:01Speaker 1: hour earlier than usual, Like it's really not that big
- 5:04Speaker 1: of a deal, but it does make a huge difference
- 5:06Speaker 1: in my current routine. So that's just like one step
- 5:08Speaker 1: that I'm doing going into the new year. I'm trying
- 5:11Speaker 1: to achieve and maintain that early morning routine because I
- 5:15Speaker 1: know how good it makes me feel. And it's just
- 5:18Speaker 1: a goal that I've been setting for myself, is to
- 5:20Speaker 1: wake up early and get those morning workouts done and
- 5:23Speaker 1: all that to have a great start to the day
- 5:25Speaker 1: and feel productive and all that. So that's something that
- 5:29Speaker 1: I've done that I'm just trying to yeah, take in
- 5:32Speaker 1: before the new year. But before we get into this
- 5:34Speaker 1: guide that I've created for becoming the best of You
- 5:36Speaker 1: for twenty twenty five, I want to talk about some
- 5:38Speaker 1: things that happened last week. As most of you know,
- 5:41Speaker 1: I did end up buying a car, which was so
- 5:45Speaker 1: freakin' unreal, guys, Like I was so freakin happy to
- 5:48Speaker 1: have bought my dream car. I still coulnot believe that happened.
- 5:53Speaker 1: That was not on my vision board at all. Like
- 5:55Speaker 1: I was not expecting to buy a new vehicle. I've
- 5:57Speaker 1: always kept telling myself, like, oh, I could get a
- 6:00Speaker 1: new car, Like I'd love to be able to buy
- 6:02Speaker 1: a range Rover, Like I've wanted a range Rover for
- 6:05Speaker 1: the past five years. I've always talked about it I've
- 6:07Speaker 1: never really physically put it on my vision board, just
- 6:09Speaker 1: because maybe in my head I didn't think it was possible.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I don't know which, Kayleie, why are you even saying that,
- 6:14Speaker 1: here's me motivating you guys that anything is possible if
- 6:16Speaker 1: you set your mind to it.
- 6:17Speaker 2: But I don't know. I just never put it on
- 6:20Speaker 2: my vision board.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I think also because with planning the wedding and all that,
- 6:23Speaker 1: I was so focused on getting my dream wedding and
- 6:27Speaker 1: everything wedding related. I wasn't really thinking of other personal
- 6:30Speaker 1: goals that I wanted to achieve for myself. So, you know,
- 6:33Speaker 1: it was a bit of a shock to the system
- 6:34Speaker 1: because when I sold my car, I was like, okay,
- 6:38Speaker 1: now what, like what do I do? I started test
- 6:40Speaker 1: driving random cars and my Dad's like, okay, well, how much.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Money you want to put down? What do you want
- 6:44Speaker 2: your monthly payments to be?
- 6:46Speaker 1: And you know, once I kind of realized what I
- 6:48Speaker 1: could spend and you know what I had, I was like,
- 6:52Speaker 1: I could actually get my dream car, Like I could
- 6:55Speaker 1: get my freaking dream car. So I did it. I
- 6:58Speaker 1: bought a range Rover and and it was the best decision.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with my car. I actually feel excited to
- 7:06Speaker 1: go to the grocery store, to go to my workout classes,
- 7:09Speaker 1: all that.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It's just like a little motivation of happiness every time
- 7:13Speaker 1: I get in my vehicle just to drive somewhere. Of Course,
- 7:15Speaker 1: everybody loves something new, Let's be honest. It's always a
- 7:19Speaker 1: fun feeling to have a new car, or a new bag,
- 7:22Speaker 1: or just something new that happens in your life, a
- 7:25Speaker 1: new home, moving into a new space. It just feels
- 7:27Speaker 1: like a new energy, a new start, a new beginning.
- 7:31Speaker 1: And so for me, like having this car, I think
- 7:33Speaker 1: was a really pinch me moment. Like I think this
- 7:36Speaker 1: by far was probably my biggest purchase I've ever made
- 7:39Speaker 1: for myself. Of Course, I've purchased a home with Zach,
- 7:43Speaker 1: and don't get me wrong, that's a huge purchase, but
- 7:45Speaker 1: that was with someone else. I've never really done a
- 7:47Speaker 1: big purchase for myself. So I feel like this was
- 7:50Speaker 1: the moment that made me realize that, holy freaking shit, Kaylee,
- 7:53Speaker 1: you did that. You worked your ass off to get
- 7:56Speaker 1: to that point and to be able to afford that.
- 7:59Speaker 2: At twenty eight years old is crazy to me.
- 8:02Speaker 1: And I think my dad was also just beyond proud
- 8:05Speaker 1: of me and just kept telling myself like.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Hey, do you realize what you just did?
- 8:09Speaker 1: My dad almost just reminded me of how proud I
- 8:12Speaker 1: should be of myself for getting to this point in
- 8:14Speaker 1: my life and not gonna lie. I had some happy
- 8:16Speaker 1: tears after my dad told me that, because I don't
- 8:18Speaker 1: think I really realized like what's happening, Like what is
- 8:22Speaker 1: truly happening in this moment. And I'm just so beyond
- 8:25Speaker 1: grateful for each and every single one of you who
- 8:28Speaker 1: support me or who listen to my podcast or who
- 8:31Speaker 1: watch my YouTube videos, like I'm truly here to help
- 8:33Speaker 1: you guys and motivate you guys that you guys can
- 8:35Speaker 1: do anything and achieve anything for yourself. And yeah, I
- 8:41Speaker 1: think that was truly the most pinched me moment and
- 8:44Speaker 1: I'm so beyond grateful.
- 8:45Speaker 2: So, if anything, this is your.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Sign that no matter what, you can achieve anything you
- 8:49Speaker 1: set your mind to. If it's a new career, if
- 8:51Speaker 1: it's you know, becoming your own boss, if it's buying
- 8:54Speaker 1: your dream car, if it's you know, having your dream wedding,
- 8:57Speaker 1: it can all happen as long as you set your
- 8:58Speaker 1: mind to it. So I just want that to be
- 9:01Speaker 1: a reminder for you guys, because it truly was a
- 9:03Speaker 1: pinch me moment and something I never thought would even happen,
- 9:06Speaker 1: to be honest. So that was a pretty cool experience
- 9:09Speaker 1: last week. So let's get into this episode. So for starters,
- 9:13Speaker 1: let's talk about the first thing that everyone needs to
- 9:15Speaker 1: do when we're talking about the Winter arc.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I think the first thing that everyone needs to do
- 9:20Speaker 2: is do weekly goal setting.
- 9:23Speaker 1: So every week, get a planner, get a piece of paper,
- 9:25Speaker 1: write three goals that you want to achieve yourself each week.
- 9:28Speaker 2: And it could be the smallest things.
- 9:30Speaker 1: It could be I want to wake up at five
- 9:31Speaker 1: point thirty every single day this week. I want to
- 9:34Speaker 1: make sure I'm journaling every single day this week. I
- 9:36Speaker 1: want to make sure that I cook at home meals
- 9:38Speaker 1: every single night. I don't want to order takeout anything
- 9:40Speaker 1: like that. It could be the smallest goals, but it
- 9:42Speaker 1: could also be the biggest goals. I think another important
- 9:45Speaker 1: thing to do is if you did create a vision
- 9:47Speaker 1: board for twenty twenty four, this is your sign to
- 9:49Speaker 1: go revisit it. What are things that you put on
- 9:52Speaker 1: your vision board for this year that you still haven't
- 9:54Speaker 1: achieved that you want to achieve.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Before the end of the year. That right there is.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Going to be a huge boost of mone motivation and
- 10:00Speaker 1: a huge reminder to yourself that you need to get
- 10:03Speaker 1: your shit and gear and figure out how you're going
- 10:05Speaker 1: to achieve these goals on your vision board in the
- 10:08Speaker 1: next thirty five days. You hear me, there's thirty five
- 10:11Speaker 1: days until January first, which is absolutely crazy. So revisit
- 10:16Speaker 1: your vision board. Think about goals that you want to
- 10:18Speaker 1: set each week. Again, it could be easy, it could
- 10:20Speaker 1: be big ones, and think about how you're going to
- 10:23Speaker 1: actually achieve those things that you set your mind to
- 10:26Speaker 1: for twenty twenty four. One thing for me on my
- 10:28Speaker 1: vision board that I have not completed this year is
- 10:31Speaker 1: starting my own brand. I don't know if I've brought
- 10:33Speaker 1: that up here on the podcast, but I am starting
- 10:35Speaker 1: my own brand. I'm not going to talk about which
- 10:37Speaker 1: category or anything like that, but this is my sign
- 10:39Speaker 1: looking at my vision board that I need to get
- 10:41Speaker 1: started on this now instead of waiting until twenty twenty five.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Because starting a brand is not an easy process. It's
- 10:47Speaker 1: not something that you just you know, start in two
- 10:49Speaker 1: months and then it becomes a business. It's a long process.
- 10:52Speaker 1: It usually takes about a year or sometimes even two
- 10:55Speaker 1: years to really nail down just the product that you're
- 10:59Speaker 1: about to sell.
- 10:59Speaker 2: All Like, I really want this.
- 11:01Speaker 1: To be the most top quality items that I do
- 11:05Speaker 1: provide to you guys. So I'm gonna be really really
- 11:08Speaker 1: keen on making this brand everything I wanted to be
- 11:11Speaker 1: in more. I want it to be a brand or
- 11:13Speaker 1: a product that I would support. So definitely something I'm
- 11:17Speaker 1: very excited about, but something that I know takes a
- 11:20Speaker 1: lot of time, a lot of effort, and a lot
- 11:22Speaker 1: of hard work. So that's something that I've really wanted
- 11:24Speaker 1: to make a priority before the end of this year.
- 11:26Speaker 1: The next thing you're gonna do is find one thing
- 11:28Speaker 1: that motivates you. One thing that motivates me that I
- 11:31Speaker 1: just recently talked about is waking up early. I don't
- 11:33Speaker 1: know what it is. There's something about waking up at
- 11:36Speaker 1: five point thirty and getting everything done before nine am
- 11:39Speaker 1: right there, just makes me feel ten times better about
- 11:42Speaker 1: myself knowing that everything is done before nine am, and
- 11:45Speaker 1: for the rest of the day, I can just focus
- 11:47Speaker 1: on filming content, editing content, all that all my healthy
- 11:50Speaker 1: habits are done within a period of time in the
- 11:53Speaker 1: morning and I feel good going into the rest of
- 11:55Speaker 1: the day. So that's something that really motivates me. And
- 11:57Speaker 1: what really pushes me is knowing that I can wake
- 12:00Speaker 1: up and get everything done before my day started.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I also love to do daily to do list. I
- 12:05Speaker 2: feel like.
- 12:05Speaker 1: It's very satisfying to check things off your list throughout
- 12:10Speaker 1: the day. I feel like it motivates me to get
- 12:13Speaker 1: more shit done and just completing it. And you know,
- 12:15Speaker 1: sometimes you get so busy and you don't have time
- 12:17Speaker 1: to make it to do list. But I think those
- 12:19Speaker 1: little things where when you take a step back and
- 12:22Speaker 1: you realize, like it takes two minutes to get a
- 12:25Speaker 1: piece of paper out, write everything you have to get
- 12:27Speaker 1: done for the day, check it off all that Like,
- 12:29Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know if anyone else is
- 12:31Speaker 1: like that, but for me taking the time to just
- 12:33Speaker 1: do these to do lists and writing things down and
- 12:36Speaker 1: checking it off throughout the day, it motivates me to
- 12:38Speaker 1: keep going and getting more shit done. So those are
- 12:41Speaker 1: two little things that I feel like. I always remind
- 12:44Speaker 1: myself that if you know, I'm overly stressed or I'm
- 12:46Speaker 1: overly busy and I don't have time to you know,
- 12:48Speaker 1: take five minutes aside to do that. I tell myself that, hey, Kayley, yeah,
- 12:52Speaker 1: you can take five minutes out of your day to
- 12:54Speaker 1: do this, and if you have to work an extra
- 12:57Speaker 1: ten minutes throughout the night, do it doesn't matter. Taking
- 13:00Speaker 1: that extra five minutes throughout your day just to write
- 13:02Speaker 1: things down really helps me out.
- 13:05Speaker 2: And everyone's different.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Obviously, but for me, that's a little thing that always
- 13:09Speaker 1: motivates me to get more stuff done, is just making
- 13:11Speaker 1: those daily to do lists. Another thing you're gonna do
- 13:14Speaker 1: is you're going to reevaluate your routine. What are changes
- 13:17Speaker 1: that you might need to make in your daily routine.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Is it maybe shifting to a night routine versus a
- 13:22Speaker 1: morning routine. Maybe you've realized that, oh I'm not a
- 13:24Speaker 1: morning person. I want to start doing all my healthy
- 13:27Speaker 1: habits at night. So right after work, I go to
- 13:29Speaker 1: a workout class, I come home, I do my journaling,
- 13:33Speaker 1: I take a shower, I cook dinner, I set the tone,
- 13:36Speaker 1: I set the vibe in my living room to have
- 13:38Speaker 1: a chill night, scrolling on Pinterest, whatever the case may be.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Find a routine that works for you. And if you
- 13:43Speaker 1: don't have a routine, right now, maybe this is your
- 13:46Speaker 1: sign to start one. Whether it's a morning routine or
- 13:48Speaker 1: a night routine, it is life changing. When you have
- 13:52Speaker 1: a routine, it feels so good just to get those
- 13:55Speaker 1: little stuff done. And I'm telling you right now again,
- 13:57Speaker 1: it's just something that's going to make you feel ten
- 13:59Speaker 1: times more productive, ten times more motivated. Having a structured
- 14:02Speaker 1: routine is a feeling you can't even describe. It's just
- 14:05Speaker 1: something that makes you feel good going into each day
- 14:09Speaker 1: or something that feels good coming home to do each night.
- 14:11Speaker 1: So you need to figure out what's best for you
- 14:13Speaker 1: and your career. If you're someone that works a nursing
- 14:16Speaker 1: shift and you're working a twelve hour day from six
- 14:19Speaker 1: to six, then maybe it's best to do a night routine. Again,
- 14:22Speaker 1: it just has to work within your schedule. But I
- 14:24Speaker 1: can promise you that you can structure a routine in
- 14:27Speaker 1: any possible way with any career that you have.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I love this one.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Finding people who motivate you or inspire you. There are
- 14:35Speaker 1: so many amazing influencers on social media that you can
- 14:38Speaker 1: follow that really just give you that positive energy or
- 14:42Speaker 1: just uplifting people who motivate you to get shit done
- 14:46Speaker 1: with your life or achieve your goals for yourself. I
- 14:49Speaker 1: hope that maybe I'm one of your inspirational influencers or
- 14:52Speaker 1: someone that motivates you or inspires you, because that's what
- 14:55Speaker 1: I try to do. But maybe there's someone else that
- 14:58Speaker 1: you have in your life that really motivates you and
- 15:00Speaker 1: inspires you. It could be a family member, could be
- 15:03Speaker 1: a friend, could be a sibling like your sister or brother.
- 15:05Speaker 1: It could be Pinterest. We all know how much I
- 15:08Speaker 1: find Pinterest truly does inspire me constantly. I'm looking at
- 15:13Speaker 1: it daily and I do find it helps me structure
- 15:16Speaker 1: my life, structure my goals. Pinterest is truly my favorite
- 15:20Speaker 1: app in the entire world, and I do find it's
- 15:22Speaker 1: the best way to motivate myself and inspire myself.
- 15:24Speaker 2: But I do have a lot.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Of comfort influencers that I watch on YouTube that I
- 15:27Speaker 1: truly am so inspired by. One in particular is Whitney Simmons.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I'm sure you guys have heard of her.
- 15:32Speaker 1: She's been a og YouTuber four years. I have watched
- 15:36Speaker 1: her since the start. She doesn't really do YouTube anymore,
- 15:39Speaker 1: she's more TikTok now, but she started to follow me,
- 15:42Speaker 1: and I kid you not. I think I screamed and
- 15:45Speaker 1: ran around the entire house for solid ten minutes because
- 15:48Speaker 1: I was in complete shock that someone I grew up
- 15:51Speaker 1: watching starts to follow me and comments on my tiktoks
- 15:55Speaker 1: like that to me was a true pinch me moment.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Another influencer that I always really loved was Sammy Clark
- 16:01Speaker 1: and Chrisichella. Those are the two girls that really motivated
- 16:04Speaker 1: me to start a healthy journey of just you know,
- 16:07Speaker 1: getting into workouts, eating healthy all that. I love Christy Chella,
- 16:11Speaker 1: I love Sammy Clark, both amazing women, two women that
- 16:14Speaker 1: also follow me, that also engage with my content, and
- 16:17Speaker 1: again so incredibly grateful to see these women that I
- 16:21Speaker 1: was so inspired by for so many years. I truly
- 16:23Speaker 1: think following comfort influencers who provide motivational or inspiring content
- 16:29Speaker 1: is so important to have. Like, we don't want to
- 16:32Speaker 1: follow people who provide negative energy. We want to follow
- 16:35Speaker 1: people who provide positive impact in your life and people
- 16:39Speaker 1: that are constantly inspiring you. I think the best way
- 16:41Speaker 1: to think of it is think of the people that
- 16:43Speaker 1: you follow on Instagram or TikTok as your friends. I
- 16:47Speaker 1: wouldn't want to follow someone that provided negative energy or
- 16:50Speaker 1: negative things that didn't fulfill me. Like if my friends
- 16:53Speaker 1: were providing negative energy all the time, if they're making
- 16:56Speaker 1: you feel down or they're just not supporting you in
- 16:59Speaker 1: any way, why do you want to be friends with
- 17:00Speaker 1: that person? So why would you want to follow someone
- 17:03Speaker 1: like that? I see my best friend who's become a
- 17:05Speaker 1: mom and has completely entered a new phase in her life,
- 17:09Speaker 1: and I find that so inspiring. To see someone who's
- 17:12Speaker 1: my age that I grew up with that has just
- 17:14Speaker 1: gone into motherhood and she's done such an amazing job
- 17:16Speaker 1: at it, and that, to me is so inspiring. So
- 17:19Speaker 1: having someone like that is someone that I want to
- 17:22Speaker 1: have in my life. I think that's the best way
- 17:23Speaker 1: to describe it. Is following the people that you have
- 17:25Speaker 1: on social media. Think of them as your friends, and
- 17:28Speaker 1: if you actually want to be friends with them, do
- 17:30Speaker 1: they provide a good impact in your life? Are they
- 17:32Speaker 1: providing positive energy?
- 17:34Speaker 2: All that?
- 17:35Speaker 1: All?
- 17:35Speaker 2: Right?
- 17:35Speaker 1: I love this next one because this is something I
- 17:37Speaker 1: actually did for myself this week.
- 17:39Speaker 2: But book yourself a.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Feel good appointment, and what I mean by that is
- 17:44Speaker 1: just book an appointment that makes.
- 17:45Speaker 2: You truly feel your best self.
- 17:48Speaker 1: So this next one is by far my favorite, and
- 17:53Speaker 1: that is book yourself a feel good appointment. What is
- 17:55Speaker 1: an appointment that you love to do that makes you
- 17:58Speaker 1: feel good throughout the day or makes you feel good
- 18:00Speaker 1: wrote the week, the month, whatever the case may be,
- 18:02Speaker 1: little things like getting your nails done, getting your hair done,
- 18:05Speaker 1: Like maybe you haven't done that in a while. I
- 18:07Speaker 1: might just boost your confidence and make you feel ten
- 18:09Speaker 1: times better by just getting that little glow up done.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Let's be honest, We're female. We love to have a
- 18:15Speaker 1: confidence boost, whether it's getting our makeup done, getting your
- 18:18Speaker 1: hair done, getting our nails done, getting.
- 18:19Speaker 2: A spray tan.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Like you guys know how much I love a tan.
- 18:22Speaker 1: If I'm feeling down and I feel like I look
- 18:24Speaker 1: like shit, I will go book a spray tan appointment
- 18:27Speaker 1: and feel like a new human the next day. I'm
- 18:29Speaker 1: not even over exaggerating, you guys know how much I
- 18:30Speaker 1: love spray tands. But I truly do feel like having
- 18:32Speaker 1: a tan just boost my confidence and boost my mood
- 18:35Speaker 1: and I feel so good going into the week or
- 18:38Speaker 1: the day.
- 18:39Speaker 2: But I did actually.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Book myself a random feel good appointment this week, and
- 18:43Speaker 1: that was a massage.
- 18:44Speaker 2: I have not gone a massage in like.
- 18:46Speaker 1: A year, so I knew it was my sign to
- 18:48Speaker 1: take a step back, and you know, I know massages
- 18:50Speaker 1: usually help when you're feeling really stressed. I felt like
- 18:52Speaker 1: my body was just super tight, and with me overly
- 18:56Speaker 1: working out, you know, five to six times a week,
- 18:58Speaker 1: I knew my body just needed have some muscles just
- 19:01Speaker 1: really worked on and.
- 19:04Speaker 2: It just felt so good. Guys.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I got the appointment done on Monday, and again it
- 19:08Speaker 1: was just taking an hour to myself.
- 19:10Speaker 2: There was a sauna there.
- 19:12Speaker 1: I really just kind of shut everything out around me.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I put my phone on do not disturb of just
- 19:16Speaker 1: pure relaxation and just feeling completely stress free by getting
- 19:20Speaker 1: the massage done all that, like, it was the best
- 19:23Speaker 1: decision and it made me feel so good going into
- 19:26Speaker 1: this week because I took that time to myself to
- 19:29Speaker 1: do a feel good appointment. So this is your sign
- 19:32Speaker 1: that you need to have a feel good appointment and
- 19:34Speaker 1: you need to go book something that will make you
- 19:36Speaker 1: feel good or will boost your confidence. It could also
- 19:39Speaker 1: be maybe just something to do at home. So maybe
- 19:41Speaker 1: if you don't like booking appointments and you like to
- 19:43Speaker 1: do things at home, take thirty minutes aside to do
- 19:46Speaker 1: your own nails or take in everything, shower or do
- 19:49Speaker 1: a self tan, something that's just gonna make you feel good.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Another thing you should do to become your best self
- 19:54Speaker 1: is challenge yourself. Try something out of your comfort zone.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Maybe it's trying a new hobby. Maybe it's something that
- 20:01Speaker 1: you want to change in your life. This is the
- 20:03Speaker 1: time now to reevaluate your life. Is there something that
- 20:06Speaker 1: you wanted to do for a really long period of
- 20:08Speaker 1: time and you're just trying to get out of this
- 20:11Speaker 1: slump and you're trying to look towards the future and
- 20:14Speaker 1: really create that future you.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Is it maybe.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Changing up your career. There's so many things you can
- 20:19Speaker 1: think about to challenge yourself. As I said, it could
- 20:22Speaker 1: just be trying new things out by trying a new hobby.
- 20:24Speaker 1: It could be trying out new workout classes, going to
- 20:27Speaker 1: a new gym, like doing things out of your comfort
- 20:29Speaker 1: zone is so important because the benefits are so worth it,
- 20:33Speaker 1: seeing personal growth, seeing more confidence. It will make you
- 20:37Speaker 1: feel more creative, there's benefits to your mental health. There's
- 20:40Speaker 1: so many amazing things that come out of it. I
- 20:42Speaker 1: think one thing for me that was really out of
- 20:44Speaker 1: my comfort zone that I did in the beginning of
- 20:46Speaker 1: this year was reformer plates. I have no idea why,
- 20:50Speaker 1: but every single time I went to map pilates, there
- 20:53Speaker 1: was always a reformer room beside it, and I was
- 20:56Speaker 1: always so intimidated by the machine.
- 20:57Speaker 2: I don't know what it was.
- 20:59Speaker 1: I just felt like it was so scary, and I'm like,
- 21:01Speaker 1: I would never be able to do that, Like it
- 21:03Speaker 1: just felt I don't know, something that I would never
- 21:05Speaker 1: thought of doing.
- 21:06Speaker 2: And then in the beginning of this.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Year, I decided one morning, I was just like, forget,
- 21:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna try it, something out of my comfort zone.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Let's just see if I like it.
- 21:14Speaker 1: And I became obsessed with it and now I do
- 21:16Speaker 1: it literally three times a week since March of this year.
- 21:20Speaker 1: So that was something that was very much out of
- 21:22Speaker 1: my comfort zone and something that I didn't really want
- 21:24Speaker 1: to do, But once I started to do it, it
- 21:27Speaker 1: made me realize how much I loved it, and I
- 21:28Speaker 1: did something out of my comfort zone and I was
- 21:31Speaker 1: able to just kind of achieve something for myself by
- 21:34Speaker 1: being able to, yeah, try something new out.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Another thing that's.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Super super important is always making your health a priority,
- 21:43Speaker 1: making sure you're implementing healthy habits into your routine daily,
- 21:47Speaker 1: whether it's you know, taking thirty minutes aside to do
- 21:50Speaker 1: a workout or going on a walk for thirty minutes,
- 21:52Speaker 1: whatever the case may be, it's so so crucial to
- 21:55Speaker 1: just take that thirty minutes out of your day to
- 21:58Speaker 1: put yourself first. Of course, everyone has extremely busy work schedules,
- 22:03Speaker 1: but I think sometimes it's important to take a step
- 22:05Speaker 1: back and realize what's also important, and that is our health.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Now that I've adjusted my routine and I've been waking
- 22:11Speaker 1: up at that like five thirty six thirty mark for me,
- 22:14Speaker 1: I was able to adjust my routine and wake up
- 22:16Speaker 1: an hour earlier than usual because it made me feel
- 22:19Speaker 1: less stressed throughout the day by waking up that one
- 22:22Speaker 1: hour earlier in the morning to get everything that I
- 22:24Speaker 1: wanted to get done before the day started. So again,
- 22:28Speaker 1: make your health a priority by reevaluating things, changing up
- 22:31Speaker 1: your routine, kind of like all the touch points that
- 22:33Speaker 1: I've talked about here, booking that feel good appointment, all that,
- 22:36Speaker 1: I think it's all about making your health a priority
- 22:39Speaker 1: and taking a step back and realizing what the most
- 22:43Speaker 1: important thing in the world is, which is again your health,
- 22:46Speaker 1: not your job or anything that is the most important part,
- 22:49Speaker 1: and doing these little things really do make a huge difference.
- 22:52Speaker 2: This next one, I think will really just change your life.
- 22:55Speaker 1: I'm not even over exaggerating, and that is decluttering and
- 22:59Speaker 1: organizing your spaces. Let me tell you, Zach and I
- 23:02Speaker 1: have planned for December twenty seventh till December twenty ninth.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Okay, we have.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Three dates that we're literally making a priority inner schedule.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Okay, to completely declutter.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Everything in our home. I want to do a huge
- 23:19Speaker 1: purge in the entire house. I'm talking the pantry, I'm
- 23:22Speaker 1: talking the closets, every single closet in my house, the
- 23:25Speaker 1: code closet, our individual closets, our basement, storage room, under
- 23:29Speaker 1: our sinks in the bathroom. Like, I want to go
- 23:32Speaker 1: through every single part of my home and completely purge it.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I want to donate things, I want to get rid
- 23:37Speaker 1: of things. I just need to do a cleanse going
- 23:40Speaker 1: into the new year. But these are things that I
- 23:42Speaker 1: need to get done before the end of the year
- 23:44Speaker 1: so I can end off the year on a high note.
- 23:46Speaker 1: So this is your sign that if you don't have
- 23:48Speaker 1: any dates booked for a weekend to declutter your home,
- 23:51Speaker 1: you need to do this because I'm telling you right now,
- 23:53Speaker 1: it's going to feel so good going into the new
- 23:55Speaker 1: year with the clear mind, with the clear space, knowing
- 23:58Speaker 1: that everything is organs, all your clothes going into the
- 24:02Speaker 1: new year is exactly what you envisioned for your style
- 24:05Speaker 1: of twenty twenty five. Everything you can possibly think of,
- 24:08Speaker 1: Declutter it, organize it. It's going to be like changing.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, I get so excited just
- 24:13Speaker 1: thinking about it. So remember this conversation and put this
- 24:16Speaker 1: in your schedule to plan a day or two with
- 24:19Speaker 1: your partner or with your best friend and do a
- 24:22Speaker 1: declutter in your home. The last thing we're going to
- 24:25Speaker 1: be doing before the end of twenty twenty five is
- 24:28Speaker 1: we're going to be planning our new year now.
- 24:30Speaker 2: So what does twenty twenty five look for you?
- 24:33Speaker 1: I think it's important starting now to take time aside
- 24:37Speaker 1: on your weekend, whether it's a Sunday night or a
- 24:40Speaker 1: Saturday night, going on Pinterest, just scrolling through and figure
- 24:43Speaker 1: out what are your goals for twenty twenty five. What
- 24:46Speaker 1: do you want to change? Do you want a career change?
- 24:49Speaker 1: Do you want to completely change your style up? You know,
- 24:52Speaker 1: get rid of some clothes, buy new clothes. Do you
- 24:54Speaker 1: want to have a really big goal by buying your
- 24:57Speaker 1: first dream home, or planning a wedding, or a buying.
- 25:00Speaker 2: A new car?
- 25:01Speaker 1: Like go on Pinterest once a week, scroll through, figure
- 25:04Speaker 1: out one goal each night before going into twenty twenty
- 25:07Speaker 1: five that you want to achieve for the new year,
- 25:10Speaker 1: and you're going to start planning your new year now.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I am all about getting a head start on planning
- 25:15Speaker 1: for the new year. I don't think it should be
- 25:17Speaker 1: done on January first. I think it should be done
- 25:19Speaker 1: on December first, because if we're going to be achieving
- 25:22Speaker 1: big goals for yourself, it doesn't take a day to
- 25:24Speaker 1: just plan a complete vision board. It takes an entire
- 25:27Speaker 1: month in my opinion, finding these images, just really structuring
- 25:31Speaker 1: how you want your goals to look like for the
- 25:33Speaker 1: new year. There's a lot of different types of goals too,
- 25:36Speaker 1: We've talked about in previous episodes. But you have your
- 25:38Speaker 1: health goals, you have your personal goals, you have your
- 25:40Speaker 1: business goals. Like there's so many different kinds of goals
- 25:43Speaker 1: that you want to achieve for yourself. So I think
- 25:45Speaker 1: you need to take the time now and start thinking
- 25:47Speaker 1: about how you want to structure your twenty twenty five
- 25:50Speaker 1: year and how we're going.
- 25:52Speaker 2: To make it your best year yet.
- 25:53Speaker 1: So that is today's episode, guys. I really hope you
- 25:57Speaker 1: guys enjoyed this episode of becoming the best you before
- 26:00Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. As I said, we are in our
- 26:02Speaker 1: winter arc era, which means we are striving to become
- 26:05Speaker 1: the best possible version of ourself before twenty twenty five,
- 26:08Speaker 1: but also making sure that we're ready to start the
- 26:11Speaker 1: new year with everything we need, including our vision boards,
- 26:14Speaker 1: our goal setting all that we are going to be
- 26:16Speaker 1: prepped and ready before the new year even starts, and
- 26:19Speaker 1: we're going to feel good and motivated to get shit
- 26:22Speaker 1: done for twenty twenty five.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I love you guys.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Also much thank you guys for listening to today's episode.
- 26:27Speaker 1: If you're new, definitely make sure to follow the host, Kaylee,
- 26:29Speaker 1: which is me. I'm on Instagram and TikTok. I actually
- 26:32Speaker 1: have a few giveaways coming up. I'm gonna try and
- 26:34Speaker 1: integrate the podcast some way, so stay tuned for that.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Just because I love giving back to my community during
- 26:42Speaker 1: the holiday season and I would love to give back
- 26:44Speaker 1: to you guys because you guys are my besties, and
- 26:46Speaker 1: of course I want to make sure you guys are
- 26:48Speaker 1: included in some way, so definitely make sure to stay
- 26:51Speaker 1: tuned for that.
- 26:51Speaker 2: But I love you all so much. I hope you
- 26:53Speaker 2: guys have the.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Most amazing week and I will see you guys in
- 26:56Speaker 1: next week's episode. O
