- 0:15Speaker 2: or you can tap the talk back microphone. We would
- 0:17Speaker 2: love to hear what's going good in your life this morning?
- 0:20Speaker 2: Why are you find in some joy today? What is it?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Could be anything. I feel like we're better as people
- 0:26Speaker 2: as a community when we talk about the things that
- 0:29Speaker 2: we feel great about, because why can't we feel great
- 0:32Speaker 2: about what everybody else is feeling great about? You know,
- 0:35Speaker 2: like Chili for instance, why are you feeling good today?
- 0:36Speaker 3: I coughed less yesterday. Oh that's right now. For those
- 0:40Speaker 3: who didn't know, Chili's Christmas was.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Very influenza filled, it was a very fluey household. But yes,
- 0:49Speaker 4: the cough is always the last thing, yeah, to sort
- 0:52Speaker 4: of and the sairest thing, right, Yeah, that's true.
- 0:56Speaker 3: But the most disruptive thing though, is the coughing, Right.
- 0:59Speaker 2: I hear annoying for me, it's like the coughing, but
- 1:02Speaker 2: it's a flemmy cough.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Well, it's like that post nasal drip that causes or whatever.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Why are you feeling good?
- 1:10Speaker 2: I'm feeling good this morning because every day I can
- 1:13Speaker 2: say that I'm thankful that I get up and I'm

- 1:19Speaker 3: It's tough right now.
- 1:21Speaker 2: You know, you really don't know what you've got until
- 1:24Speaker 2: it's gone. And I've been without, like my left knee
- 1:27Speaker 2: being at one hundred percent for you know, the better
- 1:30Speaker 2: part of six months, I would say, and it's and
- 1:34Speaker 2: it's been a thing. But this morning, you know, I
- 1:36Speaker 2: conquered some things. My parents who were here, my dad
- 1:39Speaker 2: who was here helping me out, he went back to
- 1:41Speaker 2: Texas because you know, he's got a life to live,
- 1:43Speaker 2: and well, you know, step by step, I won't say
- 1:46Speaker 2: it's been easy, and I want to say it's been perfect,
- 1:47Speaker 2: but you know what I when you get it done,
- 1:50Speaker 2: even with stress and adversity, it means something. And that's
- 1:53Speaker 2: kind of why I'm thankful this morning, because I'm trying
- 1:56Speaker 2: to get it done even though sometimes it may not
- 1:58Speaker 2: be perfect right now, but per is just around the corner.

- 5:51Speaker 2: Funny you should say that, ah ha, you know, I
- 5:54Speaker 2: really think that this is the new definition of love.
- 5:57Speaker 2: At least it is in my case, especially after the
- 6:01Speaker 2: last you know, same month in my life, and I'm
- 6:05Speaker 2: sure it's probably the same for you, Chili. Let's talk
- 6:07Speaker 2: about it coming up and if you want to join
- 6:09Speaker 2: us eight sixty six nine two seven forty three sixty one,
- 6:12Speaker 2: and you can tap the talkback microphone right now too
- 6:15Speaker 2: if you're signed in listening on your iHeart app. This
- 6:18Speaker 2: I think is the definition of love. Where Toby and

- 6:23Speaker 2: if and when it comes to your personal hygiene, if
- 6:25Speaker 2: you're in a relationship, what beauty slash personal hygiene thing
- 6:32Speaker 2: have you let your significant other do? Tell us all
- 6:36Speaker 2: about it at eight six six nineteen seven forty three
- 6:38Speaker 2: sixty one. Chili, you've been married for a long time,
- 6:42Speaker 2: much longer than I've been together with my significant other,
- 6:44Speaker 2: although she's she and I have been a thing for
- 6:46Speaker 2: quite a while. Yeah, our relationship turned a corner really, Yes,
- 6:52Speaker 2: while I was in the hospital and then at home.
- 6:54Speaker 3: What exactly happened?
- 6:56Speaker 4: Oh, she bathed me, oh after your surgery because.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I couldn't, you know, move around like and she bathes
- 7:04Speaker 2: all of the things.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I know, I got you.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I was more self conscious than when the nurses did
- 7:09Speaker 2: it at Adventist threehab hospital.
- 7:11Speaker 3: I mean it was okay, It's.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Not that she hasn't seen before, but it's a very
- 7:17Speaker 4: vulnerable position to be.
- 7:18Speaker 3: In, yes, especially when you can't run away. And I
- 7:21Speaker 3: know this is not a competition, but I feel like
- 7:23Speaker 3: I have you beat. Okay, what happened after I had
- 7:26Speaker 3: my double mistake tomy?
- 7:28Speaker 4: I couldn't move my arms back, you know, so my
- 7:32Speaker 4: husband helped me go to the bathroom. Oh that's way
- 7:35Speaker 4: more vulnerable, I think, because I don't need to explain
- 7:40Speaker 4: anything more.
- 7:41Speaker 3: No, and that's why I'm speechless right now. But that's
- 7:43Speaker 3: why we're so lucky.
- 7:44Speaker 4: We have partners who have done those things for us, right,
- 7:47Speaker 4: and they still love us.
- 7:48Speaker 2: So tell us about the grooming you've done for your
- 7:51Speaker 2: significant other. Eight six six nine two seven forty three
- 7:54Speaker 2: sixty one. She jumped in really quickly. She is from Fairfax, Chelsea.
- 7:58Speaker 2: What happened? Good morning?
- 8:00Speaker 3: Hair? Okay? And how did it turn out?
- 8:02Speaker 5: It doesn't look great.
- 8:03Speaker 3: It looks like you got run over by a lawnmower.
- 8:05Speaker 4: I remember feeling the same way when I had to
- 8:07Speaker 4: cut my husband's hair during the pandemia.
- 8:10Speaker 3: It'll grow back, I hope you know well, Chelsea. Thankfully
- 8:14Speaker 3: it does grow back. That's right.
- 8:16Speaker 2: God Willing eight sixty six nine two three sixty one.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Thanks for the call this morning. So tell us what
- 8:21Speaker 2: you've done for your partner grooming. What have you done
- 8:24Speaker 2: for them that's made you go wow. We'll get back
- 8:26Speaker 2: to the conversation coming up in minutes. We do need
- 8:29Speaker 2: to get you up to speed with the news. Toby
- 8:31Speaker 2: and Chilly's top stories at the top of the hour.
- 8:33Speaker 2: That's next, not one Chilli, not two, but three Toby
- 8:38Speaker 2: and Chilly in the morning. It's ninety seven point one
- 8:40Speaker 2: wash FM. Right around eight forty this morning.
- 8:42Speaker 4: We're going to kick off over three hours of commercial
- 8:46Speaker 4: free music for your workday.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Ninety seven point one WASHFM, Washington.
- 8:52Speaker 6: At iHeartRadio station. Coming up on top stories.
- 8:55Speaker 4: Top of the Hour, developers have announced their plans for
- 8:58Speaker 4: the former key Bridge Marriott site in Roslin. We got
- 9:02Speaker 4: details on that story and more on the way as
- 9:05Speaker 4: Toby and Chile in the Morning continues on ninety seven
- 9:08Speaker 4: point one wash f Em.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I really wanted to bring this up because my dad
- 9:13Speaker 2: was here. Now he's back in South Texas, flew out
- 9:15Speaker 2: of Reagan. Toby and Chilly in the Morning. It's ninety
- 9:17Speaker 2: seven point one wash at them. He was here for
- 9:19Speaker 2: a week, Chili. The thing that really made me go
- 9:22Speaker 2: wow is that my dad came up here for a
- 9:25Speaker 2: week with one small roller suitcase like.
- 9:28Speaker 3: A carryons the carryons. Oh, that's impressive. I was like,
- 9:32Speaker 3: how do you do that?
- 9:33Speaker 2: And then I saw the study that says, ladies, you
- 9:36Speaker 2: pack double what you need for a week. I guess
- 9:40Speaker 2: you take sixty plus clothing items for seven days.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Is that true?
- 9:45Speaker 4: Maybe back when I was younger, it was true, And
- 9:47Speaker 4: I think sometimes it's because we just have bulkier items,
- 9:49Speaker 4: like our different shoes. Sometimes women pack extra because they
- 9:53Speaker 4: don't know what mood they're going to be in when
- 9:55Speaker 4: they go on this trip.
- 9:57Speaker 3: But I've gotten it down to a science now.
- 10:00Speaker 4: I definitely if it's for a weekend, like a three
- 10:02Speaker 4: day trip, nothing more than a carry on. And if
- 10:05Speaker 4: it's for one week, it's that next size up, which
- 10:07Speaker 4: is the smaller suitcase.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I can do it. I don't know how y'all do that.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Well, are you an overpacker or are you an efficient packer?
- 10:14Speaker 3: I'm just a bad packer. What makes you bad? Overpacked?
- 10:17Speaker 2: I get the big suitcase and I just fill it up.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Oh no, And then if I need a carry on
- 10:22Speaker 2: suitcase or a second bag, well I've got one for that.
- 10:25Speaker 3: So then you're typically like a woman in this case,
- 10:28Speaker 3: I guess yes.
- 10:29Speaker 2: And now I'm thinking about somebody I dated once who,
- 10:31Speaker 2: in addition to her clothing, big rolling bags, right, she
- 10:34Speaker 2: had one that was just hair, accessories and makeup.
- 10:37Speaker 3: It was just ridiculous. I'm not that high maintenance. Thank god.
- 10:40Speaker 3: If you want to read more, we've got you covered.
- 10:42Speaker 2: The stories to Toby and chillipage waschefm dot com coming
- 10:45Speaker 2: up Chili, who is not high maintenance. She's very well informed.
