- 0:57Speaker 4: It's been a minute.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I was telling our producer han of that one of
- 1:01Speaker 2: my favorite memories of my post Bachelor life was you,
- 1:07Speaker 2: myself and our boy Andrew Firestone getting together for a
- 1:12Speaker 2: really swanky photo shoot for Was that for People Angsy?
- 1:15Speaker 3: I think or US Weekly?
- 1:16Speaker 4: I can't remember it was. I think it was US Weekler.
- 1:19Speaker 4: I still have those photos on my phone.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I do too, and it's they they basically had us
- 1:24Speaker 2: just up trust the three of us, like we were
- 1:27Speaker 2: going out, like to a party, but it was like.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Old school, like Roaring twenties style. Close for the Men.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Yeah, where was that show? Mad Men?
- 1:37Speaker 3: Very mad Men? Yeah, very nice. Right, that's that's more accurate,
- 1:40Speaker 3: more like mad Men.
- 1:41Speaker 2: And but we were in like a whiskey bar, like
- 1:44Speaker 2: this really cool speakeasy and we just sat there and
- 1:47Speaker 2: caught up all day and it was awesome. I love
- 1:49Speaker 2: that whole thing. And that was just such a fun day.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Yeah, it sure was that. That was that was a
- 1:54Speaker 4: good time. I kind of keep in touch with Andy.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Seems like he's doing really good.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, he's got a lot going on.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Man, I'll tell you well, you know what I mean,
- 2:05Speaker 2: I'm excited about this, but we'll we'll get to this
- 2:07Speaker 2: in a little bit.
- 2:07Speaker 3: But you've got a lot going on too.
- 2:09Speaker 2: But you know, we're gonna we're gonna dig before we
- 2:11Speaker 2: even get into that stuff. We uh. I want to
- 2:14Speaker 2: talk to you about your time when you were on
- 2:16Speaker 2: Dancing with the Stars, because you you came off your
- 2:20Speaker 2: Bachelor season and slipped right into those fancy little dance shoes.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I mean, was are you a dancing guy, like do
- 2:31Speaker 2: you have that, Like have you danced in your past?
- 2:34Speaker 2: Like Trista was a professional dancer, right, so for her
- 2:36Speaker 2: to go on there.
- 2:37Speaker 4: It's like, you know, I mean, that's so not fair,
- 2:41Speaker 4: Tris So why is it not fair?
- 2:42Speaker 5: I was literally the first person ever kicked off. So obviously.
- 2:50Speaker 4: She's a professional dancer. She's just that good. We we
- 2:53Speaker 4: we can't have her on the show because no, yeah,
- 2:56Speaker 4: I don't have a dance background.
- 2:58Speaker 1: You do not.
- 2:59Speaker 5: You were you were just dancing around Vienna, that is
- 3:02Speaker 5: what you were doing.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I just got falling down getting sympathy.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Boats.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Yeah, we were kind of talking about, you know, just
- 3:12Speaker 2: to kind of to touch base on your Bachelor season
- 3:14Speaker 2: for hot second. We were talking about what I remember
- 3:18Speaker 2: to be and you and I have talked about this, Jake,
- 3:19Speaker 2: but I remember it to be for me anyway.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I felt so bad.
- 3:23Speaker 2: For you when you go on to the your recap
- 3:27Speaker 2: of your season, kind of like the moment where you
- 3:30Speaker 2: and the woman you chose on your season were officially
- 3:32Speaker 2: ending things but for the world to watch, and it
- 3:35Speaker 2: was it was brutal.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Bob, stop interrupting me, please, would.
- 3:41Speaker 3: You stop it out to me?
- 3:42Speaker 4: She's like eight times that she interrupted me, you know, looking.
- 3:49Speaker 4: I mean, the whole thing's really funny now, and it's
- 3:51Speaker 4: made this recent resurgence on I'm getting tagged and all
- 3:56Speaker 4: these photos of these people, you know, poking fun out.
- 4:00Speaker 3: It's like a meme. It's become a meme.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Are you a meme?
- 4:03Speaker 5: J That's when you know you made it.
- 4:05Speaker 3: That's when you made it.
- 4:07Speaker 4: You go on to Giffy, you know, and and type
- 4:11Speaker 4: in stop interrupting me, and your picture comes up.
- 4:17Speaker 3: That's so I'm gonna do that. Actually, I'm gonna do
- 4:21Speaker 3: that while we're.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Out of the phone. We are that you.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Gotta do it.
- 4:24Speaker 2: But yeah, that had to be such a I mean,
- 4:27Speaker 2: getting ready in that moment, and I mean, uh, you know,
- 4:30Speaker 2: for for everything knowing, I mean this was you Were
- 4:32Speaker 2: you already doing Dancing with the Stars at that point
- 4:35Speaker 2: or were you already starting to prepare for Dancing with
- 4:37Speaker 2: the Stars at that point?
- 4:38Speaker 4: Uh? No, we we had actually so that was during
- 4:43Speaker 4: the summer, so we had been engaged for quite some
- 4:47Speaker 4: time at that point. Dancing with the Stars. I think
- 4:51Speaker 4: we started in we started practicing early March, and then
- 4:55Speaker 4: the show wrapped in May. So this was a couple
- 4:57Speaker 4: of months after that had wrapped.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Oh wow, so you guys made it through the whole
- 5:00Speaker 3: Dancing with the Stars thing and everything.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, dance with me on the finale, which was
- 5:04Speaker 4: really cool.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Oh that is cool.
- 5:06Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Yeah, nice thinking about that.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Since you guys were in a relationship, then do you
- 5:14Speaker 5: feel like Dancing with the Stars played a role at
- 5:17Speaker 5: all in.
- 5:21Speaker 1: The breakup?
- 5:22Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, we talked about that on the show. It's
- 5:25Speaker 3: got to be tough.
- 5:26Speaker 1: It's so hard. I mean, I can I can speak
- 5:29Speaker 1: to my experience, but what was your experience.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Like, probably, you know, just experience wise, you know, outcome,
- 5:38Speaker 4: you had a really great outcome, but probably similar. You know,
- 5:44Speaker 4: you go through this really crazy condensed experience where you
- 5:50Speaker 4: meet somebody and I would say, you get out on
- 5:52Speaker 4: the other side of the bachelor or bachelorette and you know,
- 5:54Speaker 4: probably sixty five seventy percent of somebody, and then there's
- 5:58Speaker 4: that thirty you haven't had time, you know, when that
- 6:01Speaker 4: kind of catches up, life sets in and you know,
- 6:03Speaker 4: relationships are just hard. Oh well, and.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Also the Dancing with the Stars.
- 6:08Speaker 5: That's sorry, I should have been more specific, but the
- 6:10Speaker 5: Dancing with the Stars experience. How is that for you know,
- 6:14Speaker 5: you're newly engaged, Like you said, you only know you know,
- 6:20Speaker 5: you only know a little bit of someone in that
- 6:22Speaker 5: short condensed frame of you know time, and then you
- 6:27Speaker 5: go on a dancing show with somebody who is gorgeous
- 6:33Speaker 5: and like all over you and like you're having to
- 6:38Speaker 5: like dance these like seductive moves with someone. It was
- 6:41Speaker 5: very uncomfortable for Ryan, Like, you know, we had been
- 6:44Speaker 5: married for I think two years at that point, but
- 6:47Speaker 5: it was still.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Like who is this guy? And You're like, these movements
- 6:51Speaker 1: are not something that I'm comfortable with.
- 6:53Speaker 5: So yeah, do you feel like that is the part
- 6:58Speaker 5: that played a role in you.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Guys breaking up? Or was it?
- 7:03Speaker 5: Like, I know, my season we didn't have as many practices,
- 7:08Speaker 5: but I feel like I'm dancing with the Stars, You're
- 7:10Speaker 5: just gone all the time.
- 7:11Speaker 1: So you come off.
- 7:12Speaker 5: Of the Bachelor and you want to be able to
- 7:14Speaker 5: spend time with your like chosen person. It's really hard
- 7:18Speaker 5: to do that because you you know, if you're committed
- 7:21Speaker 5: to Dancing with the Stars, then you're you're dancing a lot.
- 7:26Speaker 4: We were dancing probably between eight and ten hours a day.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Wow.
- 7:32Speaker 4: And then so immersed in it. You know, when you're
- 7:34Speaker 4: when you're you're engaging your brain to that level, trying
- 7:37Speaker 4: to learn something that you're not naturally good at, you know,
- 7:40Speaker 4: and you don't want to look stupid in front of
- 7:42Speaker 4: twenty two million people. Yeah, exactly, yet pat it off.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Although to be fair, Jake, I mean I've made a
- 7:48Speaker 2: living on a looking really stupid in front of me.
- 7:53Speaker 4: I gave it, you know, Trista, I'm sure, and I
- 8:00Speaker 4: I remember it was, you know, almost fifteen years ago
- 8:03Speaker 4: when I was on the show, but I remember being
- 8:07Speaker 4: in trying to be very cognizant of how that would
- 8:10Speaker 4: have made Vienna Field because you know, my fiance. You
- 8:14Speaker 4: don't want her to feel bad or like she's in
- 8:16Speaker 4: place or anything like that. And you know what I
- 8:18Speaker 4: tried to do, you know, one of my attempts was
- 8:21Speaker 4: keep her very involved in the show, you know, which
- 8:25Speaker 4: they you know, in turn, they were like, okay, what
- 8:26Speaker 4: how about you know during the finale, whatever happens with
- 8:28Speaker 4: your season, we're gonna have her. You're gonna have you
- 8:30Speaker 4: guys dance together. As long as you're still together, We're
- 8:32Speaker 4: going to have you dance together at the finale. We
- 8:35Speaker 4: think that'd be very meaningful. And she got she got
- 8:37Speaker 4: paid to do that, which I thought was extremely generous
- 8:40Speaker 4: of the producers, you know, to compensate her to you know,
- 8:44Speaker 4: to come on with me. But yeah, you know, when
- 8:47Speaker 4: you're hanging out, I mean, Chelsea high Towers a little cutie,
- 8:50Speaker 4: and yeah, the world thought so. And so you know,
- 8:53Speaker 4: my fiance is like, hey, you're dancing with a really
- 8:56Speaker 4: cute girl doing the Argentine tango across the dance floor.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Yeah, that's tough.
- 9:02Speaker 4: That's anybody, you know, anybody that cared, uh, you know,
- 9:06Speaker 4: that would test, that would test a level of jealousy
- 9:09Speaker 4: and absolutely anybody in my opinion.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. I agree.
- 9:13Speaker 3: I get jealous every episode. And I've never even been
- 9:15Speaker 3: on the damn show.
- 9:16Speaker 2: I like, sitting here all pissed off for Whitney Carson.
- 9:18Speaker 2: So I has been I'm like, what in this Sam
- 9:20Speaker 2: hell is going at?
- 9:22Speaker 3: I just kidd.
- 9:33Speaker 2: To that. I mean, we've we've talked about that a
- 9:35Speaker 2: lot too, Jake, Like, you know, there's we will every season.
- 9:38Speaker 2: You know this season is no different, right, you have
- 9:40Speaker 2: Joey and Jen both from the Bachelor and the Bachelorette. Joey,
- 9:43Speaker 2: we know, obviously his his beautiful uh you know, chosen
- 9:48Speaker 2: one is on, you know, on the sidelines, watching every
- 9:50Speaker 2: episode and and definitely being a part of the show.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Jen Jerry's still out. Tristan's got some some thoughts on
- 9:56Speaker 2: this one. You know, we've been calming the audience every
- 9:59Speaker 2: week to see if that dude's showing up.
- 10:00Speaker 3: What's his name again?
- 10:01Speaker 1: Interesting, Yes, Jonathan, he's been. He was there last night.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Yeah, and he's always in the house.
- 10:07Speaker 2: And then but they're still talking about, you know, kiss
- 10:09Speaker 2: the girl because last night was the Disney episode, right.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I think they're just playing that up.
- 10:14Speaker 5: I think that, you know, people are like, ooh, are
- 10:17Speaker 5: her and Sasha together? And so I think that they're
- 10:19Speaker 5: just playing it up knowing that she's you know, kind
- 10:22Speaker 5: of I guess maybe in our relationship with Jonathan. I
- 10:27Speaker 5: don't know that for sure, so don't quote me, but
- 10:30Speaker 5: I feel like there's been a lot of talk about it,
- 10:34Speaker 5: and I feel like they might have confirmed it, but
- 10:36Speaker 5: maybe they didn't.
- 10:37Speaker 1: So I don't know about her and Sasha.
- 10:39Speaker 5: I feel like they just had great chemistry and work
- 10:44Speaker 5: really well together, and I think they respect each other
- 10:47Speaker 5: and just really have fun dancing together. But that's hard too,
- 10:51Speaker 5: like you know, going back to like Jake and Vienna,
- 10:54Speaker 5: just you know, you're in this new relationship and you're
- 10:59Speaker 5: having so much fun with somebody else, you know, it's
- 11:02Speaker 5: just it's hard to.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Swallow that pill. So yeah, it's hard.
- 11:09Speaker 5: I always whenever anyone from The Bachelor, if it's right
- 11:13Speaker 5: after their season, I'm always like, no, don't.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Do it, Like yeah, yeah, well because sometimes even the
- 11:21Speaker 2: speculation is tough, you.
- 11:22Speaker 5: Know, yeah, and it just takes so much time away
- 11:25Speaker 5: from your relationship, truly.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what you really need to be immersing yourself
- 11:30Speaker 4: in it and and getting it, getting it concreted in.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, you're right, You're absolutely right.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Well let's get into the season, shall we a little bit?
- 11:39Speaker 2: We get into the show from last night, Trista, Yeah,
- 11:41Speaker 2: lets you kick us off. We know it was a
- 11:43Speaker 2: Disney episode. I just want to say, for the record,
- 11:45Speaker 2: Juliane Huff looked amazing as always.
- 11:48Speaker 5: I could not keep my eyes off of her on
- 11:50Speaker 5: the first dance, Like the opening number was fire she
- 11:55Speaker 5: and she wasn't even in the whole thing, but I
- 11:57Speaker 5: was just like, oh, I'm just gonna watch Julianne. No
- 12:01Speaker 5: I love it when they come out with a huge
- 12:03Speaker 5: opening number and they include the celebs.
- 12:05Speaker 1: So that was fun.
- 12:06Speaker 5: And in the back of my mind, I'm thinking, but
- 12:09Speaker 5: celebs not only had to, you know, do learn one
- 12:13Speaker 5: specific dance, but they had to do the opening number.
- 12:16Speaker 5: And even though it wasn't a ton they still had
- 12:18Speaker 5: to do the opening number. And this like group dance
- 12:22Speaker 5: that they did last night. That's a lot on your
- 12:26Speaker 5: plate to remember.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I do.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Feel for them, Jake, did you have any group numbers
- 12:33Speaker 5: that you.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Had to do?
- 12:34Speaker 4: Yes, uh, yeah in week number seven of my Yeah,
- 12:42Speaker 4: the swing.
- 12:44Speaker 1: That's fun and hard and really hard. Yeah, so it's hard.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It's really hard. But I think of the swing as
- 12:56Speaker 1: like a wedding dance, like a wedding reception if someone
- 12:59Speaker 1: like swings me around.
- 13:01Speaker 5: And I love that we didn't do a group number.
- 13:06Speaker 5: I don't think they did any group numbers on our
- 13:08Speaker 5: season at all. But of course I was the first
- 13:10Speaker 5: one off, so I don't know.
- 13:15Speaker 1: But that definitely adds to your plate, right.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Because you have you have to.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Learn more time away from home or whatever.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Yeah, it's you know, it's it was really hard. You know,
- 13:30Speaker 4: everybody's like, hey, what was it like? And I'm like
- 13:32Speaker 4: Chelsea high Tower was leading the entire time. She came
- 13:36Speaker 4: up with a routine that I could barely do, and
- 13:39Speaker 4: then we ranted a thousand times and then did it live.
- 13:41Speaker 4: That's how it works, right, Yeah, just trying not to
- 13:44Speaker 4: get hurt along the way, totally.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that'd be my problem.
- 13:49Speaker 2: I mean, that's probably why they haven't asked me yet.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Problem so, you know.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Because.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, and I get out there.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Like I think I just ran my neck literally just
- 14:01Speaker 2: doing what I just did. I'd be in such bad
- 14:03Speaker 2: shape on that show. But so last night they do
- 14:06Speaker 2: the big group number, the big group opening, and then
- 14:08Speaker 2: they roll into our first dancers and and by the way,
- 14:11Speaker 2: I should put this out there before anyone's uh paying
- 14:14Speaker 2: too close attention. When Trista was not on the show
- 14:17Speaker 2: last week, I did spoiler alert pick the people that
- 14:20Speaker 2: got kicked off tonight, right I did. You can go back,
- 14:24Speaker 2: you can check it if you'd like the factual factual accuracy.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Well, I shouldn't say that I narrowed down to two couples.
- 14:30Speaker 3: And yeah, but you.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Should replace Carrie in Oh gosh, Yeah, I.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Have something I will say.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I narrowed it down to actually I might have said
- 14:45Speaker 2: three couples. Now that I'm thinking about it.
- 14:47Speaker 3: I said, I said Phedra might be going home.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I said, Dwight Howard could potentially be going home.
- 14:56Speaker 2: And I said, even though she had very quick, uh
- 15:01Speaker 2: really warned herself to the audience, because we're getting to
- 15:04Speaker 2: this point and that's something to talk to Jake about too.
- 15:06Speaker 2: But because we're getting to that point right now where
- 15:08Speaker 2: actually everyone's a really good dancer at this point, right,
- 15:10Speaker 2: I thought, well, Alana could go home, right, So that
- 15:13Speaker 2: was my potential bottom three and and yeah, and I
- 15:18Speaker 2: won't I won't wrote it for anyone yet, but one
- 15:21Speaker 2: of those three did go home.
- 15:22Speaker 3: I will tell you that.
- 15:23Speaker 5: You mean for this week. I'm so confused. You were
- 15:26Speaker 5: talking about last week? Didn't Brooks go home?
- 15:29Speaker 3: Brooks went home last week?
- 15:31Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 15:31Speaker 3: And then I was forecasting into this one.
- 15:33Speaker 1: WHOA Okay?
- 15:34Speaker 2: And I said, based off of what I've seen so
- 15:36Speaker 2: far and where we're going with the show.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Because you know this is this is Jake.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I mean, like you said, season seven or episode seven
- 15:42Speaker 2: when you were doing the group numbers, this is episode six, right,
- 15:45Speaker 2: isn't it?
- 15:46Speaker 3: So it's right around that same time.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I think so yeah.
- 15:50Speaker 4: At this point, right, yeah.
- 15:52Speaker 2: And so everyone's really good now, like everyone's like even
- 15:54Speaker 2: though even though Fader went home, she still danced really well.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Like I was impressed, you know, it's like everybody's really good.
- 16:00Speaker 1: She did.
- 16:01Speaker 5: Although I will say in the group number you could
- 16:04Speaker 5: tell that she was like, so she was in the
- 16:07Speaker 5: front in a lot of things that were involving the
- 16:09Speaker 5: rest of the celebs in her group, and she was
- 16:13Speaker 5: kind of like like looking back to make sure that
- 16:15Speaker 5: she was doing the right things. Do you could tell
- 16:17Speaker 5: that I think it was a little more than she
- 16:21Speaker 5: could handle that week. I mean, I loved watching her.
- 16:24Speaker 5: I thought she's a little spitfire and she's fun to
- 16:26Speaker 5: watch and listen to. I just can't wait to hear
- 16:29Speaker 5: what comes out of her mouth. But I do think
- 16:32Speaker 5: that it probably was, you know, right on. I think
- 16:37Speaker 5: for this upcoming week, I think continuing on with your trend,
- 16:42Speaker 5: like Dwight, I think Dwight, I don't know.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I'm going to say he probably will go home. Yeah,
- 16:52Speaker 1: that will be my gal.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Well, here's the thing, and Jake, we know you haven't
- 16:56Speaker 2: had a chance to watch a ton of these yet,
- 16:57Speaker 2: but Dwight Howard is what six eleven right, and.
- 17:00Speaker 3: His tall and what's his partner name? She's she's super.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Cute, Danny Daniel, Daniel, she's like five to one, and
- 17:09Speaker 2: so like the first week he was like carrying her
- 17:11Speaker 2: around and it was like funny. But it's like that
- 17:13Speaker 2: can only last so long, right, So especially when you
- 17:16Speaker 2: start getting into this stuff. Now, we're like, I mean,
- 17:18Speaker 2: Chandler looks like a pro honestly, Like you know, I
- 17:22Speaker 2: mean half the time, you don't even know which one
- 17:24Speaker 2: of those two are the pro. She's so good, you know,
- 17:28Speaker 2: Joey's killing it, Jed Tran's killing it.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Like the whole everyone that's left on the show right
- 17:32Speaker 3: now is really good.
- 17:33Speaker 5: Danny Almondolo Like I didn't see his dance last week,
- 17:36Speaker 5: but the contemporary piece, like I want to go back
- 17:39Speaker 5: and watch it because I feel like he.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Continues to crush it.
- 17:46Speaker 5: I actually, when I was watching that part of it
- 17:48Speaker 5: last night, I'm like, actually, he might be part of
- 17:52Speaker 5: my top three. So I think I'm going to add Chandler, Joey,
- 17:55Speaker 5: and Danny to.
- 17:57Speaker 3: The nice Yeah, okay, all.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Right, yeah, well my guess.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Once again, our boy Joey for the Bachelor, who none
- 18:07Speaker 2: of us pegged him to be this dancing machine last night.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Looked like a Fabio Tarzan.
- 18:14Speaker 1: That was funny.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Yes, wig leather jeans. I mean, I was like, what
- 18:21Speaker 3: is going on with this guy? What was your what was.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Your most favorite outfit? Jake? What did you get to
- 18:27Speaker 1: wear that was fun?
- 18:27Speaker 6: Like?
- 18:27Speaker 1: Did you wear any wigs or anything like that? Uh?
- 18:30Speaker 4: I didn't wear any wigs. You know, probably when when
- 18:35Speaker 4: we did it was the first Latin dance we did
- 18:38Speaker 4: and it was the quick Step. I dressed up believe
- 18:41Speaker 4: it like Harrison Ford.
- 18:43Speaker 5: Oh fun nice like Indiana Jones Harrison.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Ford or or Indiana Jones. Yeah, good point, Indiana Jones.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Love. That was my favorite movies growing up. Our series,
- 18:55Speaker 1: that's so fun. I love that. I really didn't get
- 19:00Speaker 1: to dress up in anything fun. But that's okay.
- 19:05Speaker 2: The first season is always the roughest because you got
- 19:07Speaker 2: to go through like they're they're figuring out what the
- 19:09Speaker 2: show is.
- 19:09Speaker 6: Right, Yeah, it's yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 1: So I asked this of Crystals.
- 19:23Speaker 5: Crystals was on with me a couple weeks ago, and
- 19:28Speaker 5: I wanted to know if he would go back on
- 19:31Speaker 5: the show if they asked him to do an All Stars.
- 19:33Speaker 1: What are your thoughts.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Oh, hands down, I would do it.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Oh, I love it. I would.
- 19:38Speaker 4: I would definitely. If they did an All Stars, I
- 19:40Speaker 4: probably wouldn't do very well. But I was you know,
- 19:47Speaker 4: that was I think. Let me I guess. The way
- 19:51Speaker 4: I would answer that is, you know, from myself. The
- 19:53Speaker 4: biggest thing that I saw that I really missed last
- 19:56Speaker 4: night was Lynn Goodman.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Oh true.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Yeah, not just on the show, because he was such
- 20:02Speaker 4: a dynamic judge. The other you know, Derek is doing amazing.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Everybody loves Bruno and Carrie Anne's amazing, but I miss
- 20:09Speaker 4: I miss Brune. I mean, I miss miss Lynn. That
- 20:15Speaker 4: was just such a well produced show. The way that
- 20:18Speaker 4: the way that those producers put everything together. For me,
- 20:21Speaker 4: you know, I mean The Bachelor was a very magical experience,
- 20:25Speaker 4: but Dancing with the Stars was truly uh just that
- 20:29Speaker 4: was truly an opportunity to you know, just it's almost
- 20:34Speaker 4: like it didn't even happen. That's one of those things, Yeah,
- 20:36Speaker 4: did I get to do? That would be so much
- 20:41Speaker 4: fun to go back, you know, I try to go
- 20:43Speaker 4: back to the show, you know, each season. I haven't
- 20:45Speaker 4: been since COVID, so I've got a couple of years
- 20:47Speaker 4: that I've missed because the dynamics of you know, getting
- 20:51Speaker 4: to the sound stage have changed. But I've stayed real
- 20:55Speaker 4: close to that crew just because they were they were
- 20:57Speaker 4: so welcoming with open arms. Hey you've got this. Just
- 21:00Speaker 4: keep do we know that you know your body hurts,
- 21:03Speaker 4: Just keep pushing through it. It's so worth it.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Yeah, totally.
- 21:06Speaker 4: It's a great group producing it.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Yeah, agreed, that's awesome. Did you have Ashley Eden's as
- 21:13Speaker 1: a producer.
- 21:14Speaker 4: No, the the EP or executive producer, sorry, Dina Katz.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Well, Dina, Yeah, she's she's a constant. But Ashley was
- 21:24Speaker 1: on Bachelorette.
- 21:27Speaker 5: Yeah, so I think she was on Bachelor. She definitely
- 21:29Speaker 5: was on My Bachelorette.
- 21:31Speaker 1: And she now is like besties with the Huffs and
- 21:34Speaker 1: like goes around with them. She's done a couple. She
- 21:37Speaker 1: does a bunch of.
- 21:38Speaker 5: Other shows, but she produces like the Christmas Special and
- 21:42Speaker 5: works with them a lot.
- 21:43Speaker 1: But she was working I don't I don't know.
- 21:45Speaker 5: Maybe she started after no because she was on my
- 21:49Speaker 5: Dancing with the Stars season. She was a producer on
- 21:52Speaker 5: Dancing with the Stars and then she became one of
- 21:54Speaker 5: the exec producers. So maybe she was there with Dina
- 21:57Speaker 5: and just more behind the scenes on your season.
- 22:01Speaker 4: If I saw her, I would I would, I would
- 22:03Speaker 4: remember right away.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, she's awesome, She's amazing. I love her.
- 22:09Speaker 5: So, okay, I'm gonna put side by side Bachelor Dancing
- 22:14Speaker 5: with the Stars.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Which one did you like better?
- 22:21Speaker 4: Dancing with the Stars?
- 22:23Speaker 3: So I love.
- 22:25Speaker 5: That just because it seems like you had a really
- 22:27Speaker 5: great experience. But do you feel like if you hadn't
- 22:31Speaker 5: done The Bachelor, then you probably wouldn't have done Dancing
- 22:34Speaker 5: with the Stars.
- 22:34Speaker 1: So isn't it Bachelor that you want?
- 22:39Speaker 4: I remember the conversation where Mike Flice approached me and said, hey,
- 22:43Speaker 4: dancing is talking to us about you, and you know what,
- 22:46Speaker 4: if you want to go, it's green light. I mean,
- 22:48Speaker 4: it's not in your contract, but he said, I'll green
- 22:51Speaker 4: light that all day long.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Awesome.
- 22:54Speaker 4: I've never asked I've always wanted to ask you this, Trista, Yeah,
- 22:58Speaker 4: and Bob. So when we first started to shoot The Bachelor,
- 23:03Speaker 4: it was like before the you know, before the limousines
- 23:06Speaker 4: rolled up. I was talking to the executive producer in
- 23:10Speaker 4: a law on Gail and I just said, Hey, the
- 23:13Speaker 4: way that I'm looking at this, I understand that you
- 23:15Speaker 4: guys need to make a television show, and you need
- 23:17Speaker 4: to make a television show to get people.
- 23:18Speaker 1: To watch it.
- 23:19Speaker 4: And I completely respect that. I said, I'm going to
- 23:21Speaker 4: stay out of your way whatever you need to do,
- 23:24Speaker 4: but do me a favor. I am here to find
- 23:27Speaker 4: and fall in love because I believe I can do that. Yeah,
- 23:30Speaker 4: and we before then then limousines came, and I mean,
- 23:33Speaker 4: I think that conversation that we had before we started
- 23:36Speaker 4: is why we had a pretty successful season, because I
- 23:40Speaker 4: understood what they were trying to do and they understood
- 23:42Speaker 4: that I was serious about my presence on there. And
- 23:46Speaker 4: I think that that may have had something to do
- 23:49Speaker 4: with Mike Flis going, hey, thank you so much for
- 23:53Speaker 4: allowing us to do what we do. Thank you for
- 23:55Speaker 4: coming on, you know, vulnerable and open hearted, go have
- 23:58Speaker 4: fun on dance and don't hurt yourself. Yeah, totally, because
- 24:02Speaker 4: he could have said no.
- 24:04Speaker 5: Honestly, he could have very well said no. I think
- 24:07Speaker 5: he said no a lot heyes to certain people. So yeah,
- 24:13Speaker 5: I feel the same way. I've always had that mentality
- 24:17Speaker 5: that they're producers and they were my friends, like I
- 24:22Speaker 5: became very close with a lot of them and I
- 24:27Speaker 5: always had a healthy amount of respect for the fact
- 24:30Speaker 5: that they are doing a job and even though I
- 24:34Speaker 5: was also there for I don't want to call it
- 24:37Speaker 5: a job, but I was for sure looking for love.
- 24:41Speaker 5: So I think that when you're able to respect each
- 24:46Speaker 5: other and there's.
- 24:47Speaker 1: No like.
- 24:49Speaker 5: Egos involved, then it just it just makes things low
- 24:56Speaker 5: a whole lot easier, like everyone wants to support each other.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, I completely agree.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm glad.
- 25:07Speaker 5: I'm glad that it worked out that way and that
- 25:09Speaker 5: they could greenlight you for dancing, because it is such
- 25:12Speaker 5: a such a fun, such a fun, once in a
- 25:16Speaker 5: lifetime thing to be part of.
- 25:18Speaker 4: If I had known when I was being cast on
- 25:21Speaker 4: The Bachelor that Pamela Anderson was going to walk by
- 25:25Speaker 4: me wearing a towel, I had no idea that was
- 25:30Speaker 4: going to happen in my lifetime. I'm serious. That's so
- 25:37Speaker 4: funny watching her on Baywatch.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Yeah, of course, duh. Any other moments like that that happened.
- 25:47Speaker 4: That was it eating buzz Aldron buzz All on the moon.
- 25:52Speaker 4: That guy was my hero when I was pam Anderson
- 25:57Speaker 4: was my crush. Buzz Aldron was my hero.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. You hit the jackpot on that show.
- 26:04Speaker 4: I'm such a genuine great guy.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Oh, I love that.
- 26:09Speaker 2: That's awesome, so fun, all guys, I hate to be
- 26:14Speaker 2: the buzzkill on this one, but you know, Gil, but
- 26:20Speaker 2: I think it's time. I think it's time for us
- 26:23Speaker 2: to make our predictions for next week. Yeah all right, Trista,
- 26:26Speaker 2: So you already said you think Dwight's going home.
- 26:30Speaker 5: I mean, I love them, but I do think that
- 26:34Speaker 5: they just have so much against them with the height difference.
- 26:38Speaker 5: I love his personality. I think he's doing a great job.
- 26:41Speaker 5: But I think compared to the people like Joey, like Chandler,
- 26:44Speaker 5: like Danny, I just and Jen like al Alona, like
- 26:50Speaker 5: everyone's everyone is crushing it this season, as we have
- 26:53Speaker 5: said week after week after week, But but you get
- 26:56Speaker 5: down to the really really nitty gritty, and I just
- 26:59Speaker 5: feel like that difference is.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Is gonna finally put that nail in the coffin?
- 27:07Speaker 6: Maybe?
- 27:07Speaker 1: So yeah, that's my prediction. Who knows if I'm right
- 27:10Speaker 1: or not, But.
- 27:11Speaker 3: No, I think you could be onto something. I think
- 27:13Speaker 3: I'm narrowing it down. I'm gonna do two again.
- 27:16Speaker 2: I think the basement Dwellers for me next week are
- 27:18Speaker 2: going to be Dwight and Daniella, which I which I'm
- 27:24Speaker 2: bombed to say, because I really I love Daniella and
- 27:27Speaker 2: I love d White too.
- 27:28Speaker 3: I find him to be so great. Yeah, And just.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Going through everybody on my list here, I got, well,
- 27:35Speaker 2: I gotta say, I gotta say Alana would be the
- 27:38Speaker 2: other one because I don't think that America is going
- 27:41Speaker 2: to send home an Olympian, right, even though I think Stephen, uh,
- 27:46Speaker 2: you know, he's probably in that same level with Alana.
- 27:51Speaker 2: But so I think it could come down to those two.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Are those three in the bottom three? And and Jake,
- 27:56Speaker 2: I know you didn't get a chance to watch too
- 27:58Speaker 2: much of the show, but you did get to see
- 28:01Speaker 2: any predictions from you.
- 28:03Speaker 4: I I think strategically you're looking at it right, you know,
- 28:07Speaker 4: like with the height difference, he's six ' eleven.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I want to than that. I feel like seven feet,
- 28:15Speaker 1: but I don't know.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Yeah, it just it makes it difficult where the other company,
- 28:20Speaker 4: you know, the other couple couples, you know, because they
- 28:22Speaker 4: they do try to match you height wise. Yeah, totally
- 28:25Speaker 4: on the show. And so there's just things you can
- 28:27Speaker 4: do dance wise that that wouldn't work for them, otherwise
- 28:30Speaker 4: that would look really good. Yeah, I I like him,
- 28:34Speaker 4: you know, I'm a big fan, but I it's just
- 28:37Speaker 4: getting so comp competitive on there. I just think that
- 28:40Speaker 4: their height difference is going to really really start standing
- 28:42Speaker 4: out with with how what level they can compete at?
- 28:45Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go, two ballroom experts and their friend
- 28:49Speaker 2: chiming in here and I.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Think a ballroom expert. Where's the ballroom expert?
- 28:55Speaker 3: Not here?
- 28:57Speaker 2: Well, you guys are far more expert than me, but
- 28:59Speaker 2: I will y'all heard it here first on our of
- 29:03Speaker 2: Course Dans with the Star recap episode of Almost Famous.
- 29:05Speaker 2: To o GS, Jake, thank you for joining us, man,
- 29:08Speaker 2: thanks for being here with us, and Trista as always,
- 29:10Speaker 2: thank you for being so wonderful and lovely.
- 29:12Speaker 3: To do this show with everybody.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Oh yes, thank you. You're welcome so much. Thanks Bob,
- 29:16Speaker 5: and thanks for.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Being here, Jake.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Love you guys all Right now, we might have more
- 29:21Speaker 3: with Jake Pavelka coming up, so make sure you listen
- 29:23Speaker 3: to our next episode. Hi everybody, Yes,
