- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, good afternoon, listeners. Thank you for coming on Lament
- 0:03Speaker 1: of Hope podcast. It's kind of crazy that we're already
- 0:06Speaker 1: in April and just, yeah, already so many interviews done
- 0:11Speaker 1: and just seeing, getting to hear so many different stories.
- 0:15Speaker 1: And recently we've been kind of talking to a lot
- 0:18Speaker 1: of different like survivalists and then talking to a dispatcher.
- 0:22Speaker 1: So can I ask, you know, maybe this is a strange,
- 0:28Speaker 1: maybe it's strange, I don't know, but What is your
- 0:34Speaker 1: view of humanity and God? Because I've had people tell me,
- 0:41Speaker 1: the world is so terrible, there can't be a God.
- 0:44Speaker 1: And then they say, well, the world is so terrible,
- 0:46Speaker 1: but we can make it better. But then they continue
- 0:49Speaker 1: to see the suffering that humans inflict upon each other.
- 0:54Speaker 1: And they think, well, one day it will get better.
- 0:59Speaker 1: But they... becomes so disappointed and disillusioned because it's not
- 1:05Speaker 1: getting better and wars continue to happen and hunger continues
- 1:09Speaker 1: to happen and people get really discouraged. And like you said,
- 1:12Speaker 1: for some people it's overwhelming. You know, they can't take
- 1:16Speaker 1: it anymore. But I wanted to ask for you personally,
- 1:20Speaker 1: like how do you stand on that? How do you
- 1:22Speaker 1: view an idea of God in the face of the
- 1:25Speaker 1: fact that you see suffering so keenly? How do you
- 1:27Speaker 1: view humanity? when you see these things?
- 1:34Speaker 2: I don't have any idea of God, first of all.
- 1:40Speaker 3: For me, this is so abstract.
- 1:44Speaker 4: That even I don't have this idea in my head.
- 1:52Speaker 3: And what about humanity? I don't know. I feel that...
- 1:59Speaker 3: I feel that.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I see the future only in the black. And I
- 2:12Speaker 2: don't have any hope inside.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Myself. And I feel that it will be worse and
- 2:24Speaker 3: worse and worse.
- 2:27Speaker 2: In this case, for example, when we have come on, Trump, Netanyahu.
- 2:35Speaker 3: And Putin.
- 2:37Speaker 2: And so for me, the human.
- 2:45Speaker 3: The people should not exist.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Because we are the most dangerous and the most We
- 2:55Speaker 2: are like beasts.
- 2:56Speaker 3: That's it.
