- TB: Question out of nowhere. Sydney, are you ready? Sydney: I'm ready. TB: All right, you're moving soon in a few short weeks, and sometimes neighbors can be an issue. So if you could pick any famous person to be your neighbor, who would it be and why? Sydney: Hmm. James Cook. He never talks. He never makes any noise. He like doesn't even barely make any facial expressions. He's like the perfect neighbor. TB: Not bad, not bad. Can you think of any other ones outside of the world of the Buffalo Bills? Or are you gonna just stick with Sydney: Mm. TB: with with Cook? Sydney: Think that's a really good one. I just I I just I don't know, he probably doesn't, you know, play loud music. He's probably just super chill. Like if you see him in passing in the hallway, he's probably just like and then he just keeps going, like no awkward conversation. Like that's all I want in a neighbor. TB: So what if it's one of those nice nice days when you can have the windows open and you smell this beautiful aroma of food coming from his apartment? And is it going to lead you to scream, The cook is in the kitchen? Sydney: Do you remember that viral photo of him cutting an apple with like a rainbow knife? TB: No, I don't. no, that sounds weird. No. Do I have to Google this? Sydney: You've not seen this. It's so funny. It's so funny. But like I know he probably makes some really good food. So I just immediately thought about that when he brought up some food. But maybe if I smelled the food, I might go down there. But I would feel bad because he's so quiet. He probably just wants TB: Yeah. Sydney: to be left alone. TB: No, that's a good answer. I love it. but I would definitely be shouting the cook is in the kitchen. Just Sydney: Yeah. TB: like the Bills radio broadcast every time he scores a tutty. sounds like a great time to start the show. All right, what is up, friends? We are back with another episode of the Three T's Tables, Tailgates, and Top Loaders. I'm your boy TB here once again with Sydney. How you doing this week? my goodness, you brought the thunder with ya. Holy cow. Sydney: There's a big storm going on outside. it's been raining a lot here in Florida, so we get like a pretty good rainstorm. And actually today it cooled off so much. I actually could wear a sweatshirt to work. It was so awesome. Mm-hmm. TB: A sweatshirt? I didn't think those were legal down in Florida. Sydney: Well when it gets like below ninety, you're like, Wow, it's like kinda chilly. TB: Yeah, yeah. So how's everything else going? How's your week? Sydney: It's I'm ready for it to be over, but other than that, it's okay. TB: Yeah, I just feel like these weeks are dragging on and on and on, but that's okay. speaking of going on too long, I thought a good topic was movies. What is going Sydney: Mm-hmm. TB: on with these movie series that just keep going and going? specifically, you just recently saw Toy Story Five, did you not? Sydney: I did. I it. TB: Hasn't this series been going on for thirty plus years? Sydney: It has, but honestly, I feel like this movie was kind of made for more of the older generation because it talked a little bit about like electronics and how they're trying to take over the toys. TB: Okay. Sydney: so I felt like I could relate to it in a way. I don't know. I really liked it. I heard that some people did not like it, but I thought it was cute. Do I think that they need a sixth movie? No. I do think that some movie series go on way too long, but Toy Story is kind of iconic, so I think they're they're TB: I think Toy Story Three is probably the pinnacle. I l that that's a great one. and then I honestly Sydney: Yeah. TB: did not see four or five, so I can't talk. But, you know, I'm looking forward to Avengers. So I'm not really sure if you could put Sydney: Mm-hmm. TB: that as part of a series. I mean, I guess you could if you look at the whole Marvel cinematic universe and I don't know what Avengers movie we're gonna be on at this point. Is it like Five, six, who knows? But I'm looking forward to that one. Can you think of any other movie series that may have gone on way too long? Kinda like this intro? Sydney: Mm not off the top of my head. Or maybe like the Scream movies. I know that a lot of people TB: yeah. Sydney: did not like the new Scream that just came out. So that's probably one that maybe needs to be put to rest. TB: I didn't mind it so much. yeah, because there was a lot of Sydney: Really? I haven't seen it, so I don't know. TB: nostalgia, a lot of throwback stuff. I like when they kind of incorporate some of the old actors, actresses from the originals and kind of tie it all together, or at least try to. Yeah, but most of those horror movie series go on go on way too long. But It's time to start the program with wrestling talk. We we've kind of neglected this. We've pushed it off to the side a little bit. I know we've been solely focused on heavy bills and football. Last week we did a deep dive into fantasy community with Austin guesting on the show. And we talked over an hour to to prep for the fantasy season. But I wanted to start start talking about wrestling and get back to a segment we've done before, the Sid's homework portion of the program. So you had a match to watch for this this week's episode. Tell us about it. What what was your assignment? Sydney: Yeah, so I watched a tables, ladders, and chairs match from WrestleMania in 2001. So TB: Okay. Sydney: I wasn't even born yet at this time, which was a little crazy, but I'm trying to recall all the people that were in it, but from my knowledge it was the Hardy brothers, Hardy Boys. TB: Hardy Boys, yep. One of my favorite tag teams of all time. Jet Matt and Jeff. Sydney: yes. It was Edge and Christian and the Dudley boys. Am I missing those are the three, right? That was it. TB: The Dudley Boys, correct. Had you heard of any yes, those are the three teams. Have you heard of any of these teams prior to watching this match? okay. Okay. So you weren't completely out out in the dark Sydney: Yes, I've heard of all of them. Mm-hmm. No. TB: on this. Sydney: No, I feel like for the most part, especially Edge, Edge kind of was still relevant when we were, you know, into it. So I had an idea of what was going on. TB: Would it shock you to know that four of the six members in that match are still wrestling today? Sydney: Really? How? TB: Yes. All four except the Dudleys. The Dudleys are no longer wrestling. but yes. Hardy Boys and well there they are in TNA wrestling, Edge and Christian are over in AEW. So they're still doing their thing. But so have have you previously ever seen a tables, ladders, and chairs match prior to this? Sydney: Yeah, I've seen a couple before. TB: Okay. Sydney: they were still around when we were watching wrestling. I did we go to one in the past? Maybe not. I don't remember. TB: I'm not sure if we we might have gone to a a pay per view that was entitled Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, but I'm not I don't I don't remember actually. It's possible. So what were your overall Sydney: Okay. TB: thoughts of this match? Sydney: It was very, very physical. and this was probably one of the most intense matches I've ever watched. just the beating that these people were taking was a l was super crazy. I TB: Yeah. Sydney: mean, the the stunts were crazy. and I feel like there's a difference between matches, you know, twenty-five years ago plus matches now. I feel like now you can almost tell that they're not when they punch someone, they're not fully punching them. Like they're they're TB: Okay. Sydney: giving a little bit. This I could tell like they were giving it their all. Like they're punching the crap out of someone. And TB: They were laying it in. Okay. Sydney: I guess you could say like they're selling it. Like they're selling it more than I've honestly ever seen. So TB: Yeah. Yeah. Sydney: just the physicality was just insane. I was just very impressed by that. TB: Did this match keep your attention? What was your level of investment for this match? Sydney: Yeah, I would say it was pretty high. I mean, there was not a lot of dull moments. Like even if, you know, someone had jumped off a a ladder, got pushed off a ladder, and they're kind of sitting there in pain, like someone else was setting up a ladder, doing a stunt, jumping onto someone, jumping out of the ring, like hanging off the belts. There was always something going on. So there wasn't any per se downtime in the match where it kind of slowed down a little bit. TB: Right. Sydney: It was just constant go go go. TB: So if you had to explain the premise of this match to someone who doesn't know what the heck TLC means, how would you describe what the idea of this or concept of this match is? Sydney: Yeah, so essentially there's two belts hanging from the ceiling above the ring. And there's a bunch of tables laying around, ladders laying around, chairs too. And then you're basically essentially using anything that you can to try and go get the belts that are hanging from the ceiling. So TB: Okay. Sydney: because they're pretty high up, you have to use a ladder because you can't just reach up and get them. So you're climbing up the ladder. If you get to the to the belts, people are pushing you off, like TB: Yeah. Sydney: That's basically the premise. TB: And so whoever can unhook the belts from the suspended hook hanging from the ceiling will become the tag team champions, correct? Sydney: Correct. Yep. TB: Yeah. So what did you like about this match? What did you not like about this match? What what did you think? Sydney: I think going back to what I said before, I think just the physicality of it, like, I mean, there were so many different points of the match where I was like, holy crap, like there TB: Yeah. Sydney: was one and there were so many people in I think it was one of the Hardy boys, pulled out like this 20-foot ladder, and TB: Right. Sydney: he just jumped on to off the ladder into this other guy that was on this table and did a flip and landed right on him. It's just crazy. Like he just jumped twenty feet and you can tell like he was hurt. I mean, how does that not hurt? TB: that that was a far a far fall because he did his patented swanton bomb where he basically does a flip and lands on them through the tables. It was it was crazy. Cause I also just rewatched this match. Now I've probably seen this match six or seven times. I love I love this match. This is one of my favorites. But yeah, yeah, to your point, how how can you take that big a spill and not at least have it impact you in some way, shape, or form? Sydney: I don't know. Like, I mean, I remember from watching wrestling when I was younger that Edge wasn't wrestling for a period of time because he had a lot of neck problems. And like TB: Correct. Sydney: going back and watching this, I'm like, holy crap, yeah, of course you have neck problems because you're spearing people when they're hanging 30 feet in the air. Like it's just wild to me. Like of course you're gonna have neck problems and you're gonna have all these other problems because the things that you're doing is crazy. but that's what you do when you love it. I mean, they wanted to sell a story and it was pretty crazy. TB: Now, the reason I had you watch this match was because this is considered to be out of all the TLC matches in history, this is the one that is supposed to stand above the rest. So the very first TLC match to ever take place was SummerSlam, which was in August of 2000. So we're talking roughly, I don't know, what is that? seven, eight months prior to the match you just watched. They had the same three teams, the same match. The debut of tables ladders and chairs, August 27th, 2000, SummerSlam. That match was was deemed a success. And so they said, Hey, let's run it back. Let's do it again. And they totally kind of upped the stakes up the ante for this match. And it kind of culminated in the very end of the match. And if you could describe in more detail what you just talked about, the spear, that edge dropped onto to Jeff Hardy. Can you describe what was going on? Sydney: Yeah, so Jeff Hardy is literally like I said that the belts were hanging from the ceiling. Like that's a literal thing. Like the belts are hanging from the ceiling. So Jeff Hardy sets up a ladder, he gets onto the belts, the ladder falls over, he's hanging off the belts like this. TB: Right. Sydney: And Edge just jumps off of a ladder and spears him while he's hanging there. It's just crazy. TB: Did you see just before that? So Dvon, I'm sorry, Bub Bubba Dudley gets a ladder and like tries to hit Jeff with it, and Jeff's feet hook in the ladder. So Bubba's pulling him while he's hanging from the from the belt hook, pulling him to one side of the ring, and Edge is setting up in the other side of the ring for the spear, and then Jeff's feet released from the ladder, causing him to swing like a pendulum. And as he comes to center, is it's timed perfectly with Edge launching off the ladder to spear him. Jeff's body is like folded in half. And thank God he landed perfectly flat. Because had that been timed any differently, he that would have been a catastrophe. But If you watch that spot over and over again, I don't know how he landed so flat on his back, but wow, I mean, that you want to talk a dangerous spot. That was crazy dangerous. Sydney: Mm-hmm. Yeah, I mean you hanging from the ceiling is dangerous in itself and then you're getting hit with stuff and you're getting speared out of nowhere. I mean it's doesn't get much worse than that. TB: Yeah, yeah. It was wild. So do you think that match still holds up today? Sydney: I don't know how it couldn't. I mean, TB: Yeah. Sydney: I haven't seen anything like that within the last ten years that would live up to something like that. Maybe that's just because I haven't watched, but I mean, like I said, they were just beating the crap out of each other and giving it everything. And it was just crazy. TB: Yeah, yeah. And I think what happened is this match was so good and it kind of set the bar so high that after that, for a period of time, people were just going out and doing crazier stunts, not to make necessarily the match better, but to make it more like deathtifying and awe inspiring kind of deal. And I think after a period of time, they had to really pull back because It was kind of putting them at too much risk. That match was crazy. And they all put their bodies on the line and it was just insane. That's one of my favorite matches of all time, involving a lot of my favorite wrestlers that I love. The Hardys were were I mean, Jeff Hardy was probably one of my favorite wrestlers of all time, but but these guys just take a beating and it and it's just crazy. So I wanted to watch I wanted you to watch that match because when we were prepping for the show. What like five five days ago, you brought up the topic about how people some people out there say wrestling is fake. So I wanted you to watch this match because I thought it would be a good starting point to lead into that discussion. So after watching TLC two from WrestleMania in two thousand one, what of that match exactly looked fake to you? Sydney: Nothing. Like not TB: Yeah. Sydney: a single thing. Seriously. Like nothing. TB: Yeah. Sydney: I mean I don't know how you can fake any of those things. Like you're jumping twenty feet off the ground through a table. What like I mean you can't fake that. It's gonna hurt. Like regardless. TB: Yeah, and we exactly we and and some of those tables were double stacked. So it's a table stacked on top of a table, and then they're falling through a fifteen foot ladder or whatever the case may be. We didn't even talk about some of the chair shots that they they had. But back then they were still hitting people square in the head with these chair shots. Now, to their credit, they have banned chair shots to the head, so you really never see that anymore, at least in the WWE. So they have taken a lot of steps to protect the welfare of these wrestlers. And I totally agree with that. But it's always been a topic of discussion that has just downright infuriated me as a wrestling fan when someone finds out I like wrestling. And it's very similar to when they find out I'm a Bills fan. You know, you get clowns. You talked about it a couple episodes ago when your friends clown you about being a fan and this and that and the other. Look, I've been clowned for being a Bills fan for 40 years. Because you can't win the big one and you lost four straight Super Bowls. And then they talk about wrestling and it's the same thing. How why do you like wrestling? It's fake. And and it literally pisses me off when somebody tells me wrestling is fake. Because I just think it is extremely insulting to the actual wrestlers who are putting their bodies and their lives on the line. why why do you think there's this stigma with wrestling in general? Why do you think that that comment? still exist today. Sydney: I think there's a big difference. So you can say it's fake or you can say it's scripted. Being scripted, a hundred percent it's scripted because that's just how it is. Like there's a storyline TB: Right. Sydney: that's written by, you know, writers in the WWE and they perform this stuff on a stage. It's essentially just like they're performing a play. It's just a little bit different. Is it staged? Yes, a hundred percent. But like I said, going back to, you know, you're jumping. into tables, you're taking these punches, like people have gotten hurt. Like I just said, Edge has had countless neck surgeries and it put him out of wrestling for years because he was dealing with so many physical injuries. I mean, there has been there's probably not a single wrestler on the current roster in the WWE that hasn't dealt with a physical injury. I mean, it's just inevitable. And if it was fake, those injuries wouldn't happen. I mean So there's a clear difference, and I don't think people understand the difference between the two. Is it f scripted? Yes. A hundred percent. Is it fake? No. TB: Yeah, and it it's like I said, it's just infuriating because there's been many people who have been paralyzed in the ring. There's many people that have sustained career-ending injuries. most recently, I'm sure you know Big E. He was part of the New Day, Big E Langston. he was basically dropped on his head and suffer suffered a a broken neck, and he his career is done. And and and I can think of Example after example after example of people who suffered very similar injuries and who just were never able to wrestling to wrestle again. So to your point, yes, it is scripted. The outcomes are scripted, but the risks are absolutely real. And you know, people don't complain about television or movies, and it's the same thing. Those things are scripted, but we don't we don't complain about that. And and those people The actors, the stunt doubles, they get as many takes as as it takes, literally, to get that scene right in wrestling. You got one chance to get that move right, to get that sequence down, to get that spot just perfect. And if you're not on, not only can you get hurt, but your opponent, your, your, your wrestling partner, whoever's in the ring with you could get hurt. I mean, the risks are absolutely real. So can the wrestlers rehearse those spots? Can they rehearse the sequence? Can they rehearse the moves? Absolutely. But you can never totally eliminate the risk that's involved or the possibility of human error. I mean, like I said, Jeff hanging from that ladder, getting speared, if his momentum had taken him, if if Edge jumps too soon or too late. We're talking a completely different outcome with the way his body hits the mat. And so, yeah, it's frustrating. It's frustrating to me as a lifelong wrestling fan when I have to deal with people who I just think are are either just uneducated at this point or just being clowns. You know what I mean? Sydney: Yeah. I mean, if it's not for you, then it's not for you. That's okay. TB: Right. Sydney: You don't have to watch it. I think that's part of life. If you don't like s it's just like social media. Like TB: Yeah. Sydney: if you don't like a post, just scroll. You don't have to comment about it. Like it's crazy to me that people always have to have an opinion. If you don't like it, you don't have to watch it. And I don't know. I I agree with what you said. I think it is disrespectful to the people that train their intentions. lives for this. I mean it's it's a you're an athlete at the end of the day. Like you're you have to train every single day to be fit to do these things. You have to I mean they're they're wrestling every single day. There's no breaks. It's not like the NFL where you get an offseason. I mean it's very, very physical. Maybe one of the most physical sports that there is. So I don't know. I just think you know take that with what you will but There's a difference between fake and scripted. TB: Yeah, absolutely. And you know, these these people are athletes and it's being marketed, I think, now more as the sports entertainment. They've partnered with ESBN. Their pay per views are on the ESPN app. So they're trying to showcase it as an athletic contest with a scripted outcome, which I'm fine with. But we don't give the same crap to other sports that are based around memorized routines and choreography like figure skating or cheerleading or gymnastics. There's no outrage for those. And those are clearly practiced and rehearsed and scripted. You know, a a gymnast isn't gonna go out there and completely ad lib a routine. They're gonna do what they've practiced hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of times. Well, a lot of the time these guys and girls don't get to practice it hundreds and hundreds of times. Maybe they get five, 10 minutes. before the show to walk through something. obviously for your bigger shows, they're gonna have a little more time, but I mean, I don't know. It's just frustrating. And the thing, the other thing that I know it's not scripted because I've been in the audience, I've had these responses watching shows on TV. The emotions that the audience experiences are definitely not scripted. They're definitely not fake. You feel what you feel. And going back to episode one. Why I started this show is because these things make me feel something. Wrestling has always made me feel something. And I I I love your point that if it's not for you, then it's not for you. And you don't have to listen and you don't have to watch. But don't ever say to these men and women that it's fake because I think it does a extreme disservice to them and it's completely disrespectful. So that's kind of my take on it. Sydney: Period. I agree a hundred percent. TB: You got anything else on this? Sydney: No, I think everything we said was was pretty good, so leave it at that. TB: Awesome. Awesome. All right. Well, let's move, let's move into the collector side of it. So card enthusiast, hobby talk time. How are we feeling? I thought, hey, let's do a new segment. I want to call it goodbye or nah. So I recently went to a card show last weekend at Gettysburg. And I thought I would kind of show you some other cards I got. And then at the end I'll tell you what I paid for them all. I don't know. This could be terrible. So who knows? I gotta come up with stuff to talk about, and we're just gonna do it. So a couple different categories. We're gonna start with the the sport category of your favorite sport, hockey. Now, this is the former affiliate of the Iceman, the Buffalo Sabres. I was able to pick up three Sabres cards. So tell me if you could see this. Sydney: Yeah. TB: So we have here a Young Guns of Jack Quinn. So not bad. So Young Guns is kind of the rookie card, if you will, of the upper deck series. So that one. I have a numbered, this is called a synergistic duo card. And on this one is I'm trying trying to get this in the camera. Dominic Kashik. So he was a goalie when I was a kid. And Tage Thompson, who obviously is. The prolific goal scorer for the Sabres now. That's numbered out of it's hockey. Hockey's a little weird, I gotta tell you. This is numbered out of 999. So that's a weird one. And then Sydney: Okay, yeah. TB: we end it with a power play rookie of Noah Oslin. Now this one, I I I think this card's fire. This one's out of Sydney: Yeah, that's crazy. TB: this one's out of 199. So those are my those are my hockey cards. and now I want to dive into wrestling because I also picked up a a couple wrestling cards. So the current product, Mr. Solo Sokoa, right here. This is from WWE Exalted or Royalty. I can't remember which series or set this is from. So Solo is like having the time of his life right now on Monday Night Raw. He's doing great. He's kind of got this comedic. thing going down, but he's going against Roman Reigns in the bloodline, and it's really, really good. He's teaming up with LA Knight. Yeah. and and it it's hilarious. It's actually funny. They did this really cool spot where so Jay Uso's thing is, I got you in my sights and this is your warning shot. And he puts up his fingers like he's pretending to hold a gun and he's like meow right and he fires a gun. Well solo Just clowns him because they're brothers in real life. So he comes out and like makes fun of Jay and he's like, This is your warning shot. And he goes, pew, pew, pew. And like like just like clowns him. So on Monday, Jay fires a warning shot at Solo and Solo does like this slow motion back roll, like from the Matrix. And it's hilarious. LA Knights like staring at him, like right next to him, like. And it was so funny. Anyway, this card is popping. So solo sequoa. This one's to 99. I thought that was pretty fire. And then I know he's no longer with the company, but I'm gonna show you this one anyway, because I thought this was this card was awesome. The Wyatt Six, led by Uncle Howdy, which is Bo Dallas, aka brother of Bray Wyatt. So autographed 250. Not bad, not bad at all. And then I'll finish with with two cards. Now these might be this card here might be my favorite. CJ Spiller was a running back for the Buffalo Bills, and I picked up a rookie CJ Spiller die cut card. Check this thing out. This looks like a crown, right? Sydney: That's sick. TB: CJ Spiller, rookie, die cut, crown auto. I don't know what the heck you want to call this, but it's numbered to 10. I was like, Sydney: wow. TB: okay, let's go. I'm all about that. That was a nice card. And to keep it current, this is the last one I'll show you. Check this one out. Greg Rousseau, Sydney: Is that Rousseau? TB: Greg Rousseau, auto. And this is number two. Sydney: So small. TB: Yeah. The auto, he I think he teamed up with James Cook because they though James Cook literally signs it JC. And I don't know what Greg signed this as. I don't even know if that's an R. It's pretty bad. But anyway, it's autoed. It's the 15. So I bought, let's see, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven cards. What do you think I paid for all those? And I got. Three autos. What do you think? Sydney: I'm gonna go with sixty five. TB: I well if you you think the all those I okay. I paid one forty. One forty. What what do you think? Did did I did I have a good buy or nah? Sydney: I think yeah, I think it was a good buy. I just have no idea w what these are worth. I mean I feel like the autos definitely are worth some. Like coup like twenty bucks maybe. But I wasn't sure about the others. TB: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I mean, I th yeah, I think I got a good deal on the autos. So he had the Greg Rousseau card listed at 80, and he had the CJ Spiller card listed at 55. So those two combined, it was 135, and I got them down to 100 for both. Sydney: That's pretty good. TB: So two two cards, 100 bucks. And then the other five another forty. So Sydney: Yeah. Yeah, I TB: I don't know. Sydney: would I would say it's a good bye. TB: I gave myself $200. I went to the show. I was there for about an hour and a half. I walked around. I I tell you, I love going to these local shows and just talking to the dealers and just seeing what they got. I tell you, I was this close. I found a great, you're gonna laugh at me. It was a graded 2024 Marvel Chrome Thanos card. Sydney: Okay. TB: Spider Web Parallel numbered to $399. And it was a PSA 10, which means it's like the best you can get. It's like a gem. He wanted Sydney: Okay. TB: 200 for it. And these cards are going up. We've talked about it before. The Marvel market is skyrocketing. And he wouldn't budge. And I was like, if I could get them down to like 150, 160, I might be a buyer. But he wouldn't budge. And I was like, well, do I want to buy one card or do I want to go around and try to get some of this other stuff? And I knew I had that CJ Spiller and Russo card sitting at another table. I had already talked to that guy. I said, I'll be back. And I kept going and I couldn't make the deal on Thanos. So I came back around to the Bills and we made a deal and the rest is history. So anyway. Sydney: I think you made the right choice. TB: It was a fun day. I got some sabers cards. I'm I'm trying to collect some hockey stuff, but I'm limiting it because I want to stay with the sabers. I don't want to, I don't want to start ripping boxes because I'm not gonna know who 98% of these guys are. And I'm just gonna have a we talked about this before. When does your collection just become an inventory? I can't, I can't be doing that with hockey. so I'm I'm sticking to the sabers and I'm slowly building up. A very small Sabres collection piece by piece. So w what do you think? Is that smart? Sydney: I think so and I think you'll get more in the in the coming season because they're gonna be good again. So you just let TB: Yeah, yeah. Sydney: the interest build and your collection will just build along with it. TB: Exactly. And I didn't even realize on that Uncle Howdy auto, the wrestling card, I didn't realize that that was a relic card as well. And so this is this is a specific I think it's let's see. It's yeah, so it's probably like a matte relic or something that was from a specific event. Now, Sydney: Hm. TB: how do you feel about cards that are from specific events. Do you think these cards are more meaningful? Does the price matter? What what are your thoughts on cards that are from like very specific p points in time? Sydney: I think it's cool, especially if you were at the event or if you follow that team or player closely. 'cause if you do, you're gonna know what that particular event is. I feel like, you know, usually they don't just give you a relic card from like some random Joe Schmo playing game ten. You know, it's just like, really? Okay, well in that case, TB: A lot of times they a lot of times they do. yeah. Unfortunately. Yeah. Sydney: then I don't know. If it's from like a monumental thing, like their first home run or their first I don't know, their first game in the MLB, like that's when I would say, Okay, that's pretty cool. But if they're just giving you some TB: Yeah, so those are like Sydney: random game, like, they w they ta they won one zero, I don't care. TB: Yeah. And it's frustrating sometimes as a collector because sometimes you won't know the cards that are from those very specific moments, like the rookie debut patch. We've talked about this before. The rookie debut patches are millions of dollars if you get like the Paul Skeens thing that went wild last year and the whole bounty on it and Livy Dunn and all I mean, it it went insane. But the smaller scale, the flip side of that is Hey, here's a piece of a shirt that may or may not have been worn in a game in the middle of May, in unknown season, and you have no idea. So it's like, well, did Sydney: Mm. TB: they even wear this? But I like the ones like the ones I try to track down when Mike and I went to WrestleMania, what, six years ago or something? I try to pull cards from that show specifically, and they'll say on the card, hey, this is from WrestleMania, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So I like stuff like that. another example, an Orioles game that your brother and I went to. Jackson Holiday had just come off the injured list and he hit a grand slam and the place went crazy. And your brother and I are literally jumping up and down like little school kids. I mean, and then we go out after the game to Utah Street and they had marked it. And him and I took a picture where the ball landed. Well, they came out with a card from that game. I bought that card. And I got it graded, and that's one of my favorite cards. Is it worth anything to a normal collector? Absolutely not. But to me, that's one of my favorite cards of all time. And that car is probably worth like a dollar. But to me, Sydney: Mm-hmm. TB: that card is like priceless because I can remember Sydney: Right. TB: the exact moment, the exact time. That card's awesome. So yeah, I like the cards that you can pinpoint to a very specific event. I think those sometimes carry a lot more meaning. Sydney: Yeah, a hundred percent. I think it just depends on the person, and what the card is. I mean, I think a card can hold meaning for anyone. So it's just more specific to what you're looking for, who you like, who you support, so TB: Yeah. No, totally, totally agree. are you ready for yet another new segment? So I I just I like to brainstorm. I like to try to come up with random ideas, random thoughts, because look, it gets boring. Hey, guess what? This product's coming out, and what do you think of this? And blah, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, that gets boring. I think there's a time, a place to to discuss like new products and things, but I don't want to do that every episode. So I came up with a new idea. It's called $25 Treasure Hunt. So your task, you get 25 made up dollars, and the possibilities are endless. Your task is to build the best hall you can for $25. I'll do the same. We'll compare and we'll see who wins. Are you ready to play $25 Treasure Hunt? Sydney: Yeah. TB: All right. You're up first. You're on the clock. Do you have the ability to share your screen and describe the things you have bought for your made up $25? Sydney: Yes. TB: All right, hit me. Sydney: so first thing, well, first before I share my screen, let me just TB: Okay. The suspense is killing me. Sydney: justify my purchase. TB: Okay. Sydney: So instead of going with a couple different cards, I went with a line of cards of something specific that I really enjoy. And this TB: Okay. Sydney: is one of my favorite shows, probably ever, honestly. TB: I'm liking where this is going. Sydney: Actually favorite cartoon. And in my humble opinion, I think that they have the best theme song maybe of all time. So, do you have any guesses? TB: I have a guess. Is it SpongeBob? Sydney: Er no. Okay, TB: no. Sydney: I'm gonna see if this works. So I have one, two, three, four cards. Okay. It's a cartoon, yes. TB: You said this is a cartoon. Do you can you give me a hint? Is it Phineas and Verb? Sydney: I would say you're I can't confirm or deny that. So let me see if this works. TB: Did you buy the doctor Dufrin Schwertz autograph? Okay, alright. Sydney: I So here's the first card. As TB: Okay. Sydney: you can see, we're not we're not we're not paying a lot for this. This is a low budget item. TB: So it looks like this is from Topps Disney. I believe this set is neon, the Topps Disney Neon set. Is that are you able to see that or no? I think it is. I could be wrong. Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is from the Disney neon set. So okay, good, good pick. So we have Ferb. So skinny Furb. Sydney: Okay. So there's Ferb, obviously. Silent and stoic. Okay. Right. TB: It's right on the back of the card it says silent and stoic. Okay. I I kind of like that card. All right. Two bucks. You got twenty three dollars Sydney: Okay. TB: to go. Sydney: Okay, here's the next one. TB: there he is. Dr. Doof Sydney: Yeah. TB: and Schmirz. All right. Also from the same set. Okay. Sydney: So obviously these aren't worth very much, but this is actually something that I would probably buy. And this is a good price. Like I would I would be able to justify that price. And TB: And the price for those listening to the show is Sydney: Two dollars. TB: All right. So you've bought Ferb, you've bought Dr. D, and you've spent four bucks. I love it. And again, Sydney: Yes. TB: this is stuff that you would actually like. Sydney: Yeah, a hundred percent. I don't not TB: Would you display this in your house? Sydney: display it. I don't know if I would display a card, but TB: What would you what would you do with these cards? Sydney: I think it'd just be funny to have. Like I don't know, just pull out this card. TB: I gotcha. I gotcha. All right. You got twenty one, twenty-one dollars left. Sydney: Okay. I'm gonna tell you I'm gonna go under budget here, but okay. Now for my next one. I'm actually gonna save that one for last. TB: Okay. I mean Phineas has to be in here somewhere, right? Okay. Sydney: Can you see that? So this is Stacy. if you aren't familiar with the show, Stacy is Candace's like basically best friend, right hand man. I'm a little surprised because this one is going more for more money than Dr. Doof and Ferb, which is two of the main characters. So I don't know, I'm a little confused by that. Five bucks. So yeah. TB: Yeah. Right. Stacy's going for five bucks. Five bucks. So base Stacy from the Topps Disney. Yeah, I was right. This is Tops Neon 2026 Tops Disney Neon. Okay. So you got three cards, nine bucks. Sydney: Yeah. So mm-hmm. The one that the one thing that's a little different about this one is the border, which is pretty cool. So maybe that's why it's a little more Yeah. TB: Yeah, it almost looks like a door frame or a picture frame kinda. Sydney: Yeah. So maybe that's why that one's a little bit more expensive. But okay. TB: Or maybe she's just a unique character that most people know. Sydney: Not really. I don't know. I don't think she's like too unique, but TB: Okay. Sydney: and then here is another one that I found. This is Isabella. And the reason why I like this one is because it has a I don't know, she just looks cute. Like she's just given like a little TB: Yeah. Sydney: smirk with her hand, which I think is is TB: Right. Sydney: cute. TB: So similar portrait frame to that card as the last one. Okay. A no also five Sydney: Mhm. Yeah. So Isabella, she's kinda like TB: bucks. Sydney: also five bucks, which is again it's a little crazy, but TB: So you're up to fourteen dollars. Sydney: Fourteen dollars. Like I said, we are gonna go under budget here, but this is this is the last one. TB: I that's okay. This is the f this is the debut of this s this game. So hey, we're we're just gonna give it our best shot. Sydney: Right. So this is the last one. We couldn't not put Agent P in here. TB: I love that card. Sydney: yeah, this one's pretty cool. I mean, he looks like he's about to go beat up Dr. Doof. So TB: Yeah. Sydney: I like this one. This is my favorite one. TB: And what price is that coming in at? Sydney: this is $4.99 as well. Which rightfully so he's the main character. And no ordinary platypus. TB: Okay. So three for five gives you fifteen. And another two for two, another four gives you nineteen. So plus tax, you're right around twenty bucks. Sydney: Yeah, I'd say that's fair. TB: And but you left out Phineas. Sydney: Yeah, I couldn't find him. TB: Okay. If you found him, I bet you you're closer. All in all, to taxes and shipping, you're you're out the door. 25 bucks. I think you did quite well. So you got most of the cast Sydney: Yeah. Yeah, I'd say. TB: of Phineas and Ferb for 25 bucks from 2026 Disney Neon. that that's Sydney: That's pretty good. Yeah. TB: great. All right. So keep that in mind because I'm about to share my screen. And we're going right back to the well from last week because I found. Can you see that? Sydney: Yes, I can. my gosh, there he is. TB: So now this this this card is from twenty twenty five tops WWE Exalted. And what autograph do you see on this card, Sydney? Sydney: Yes, yeah, it's the evil tax collector from last week. TB: From the what's the gimmick date not debut, but the the segment that's blowing up on social media. This is none other than Prof Professor Pipe Bomb, IRS. He is here in the flesh and he signed it. now I gotta say though, I'm a little disappointed in his outfit in this card. he is Sydney: Yeah. TB: wearing I would say something more akin to the professor gimmick than the actual tax gimmick. And he has like a three-ring binder in his hand. So I think it would have been better had he been wearing his normal garb. But so now here's here's the the kicker on this, right? So we have a IRS auto from 25 WWE Exalted. It's numbered to 50. Now on eBay, it's listed at 1999 or best offer. Well, I gotta Sydney: Mm-hmm. TB: tell you. I was sent an offer from the seller to buy this card for $14.99. So I just saved Sydney: Hmm. TB: five bucks. And with that, I am now going to buy. The three base Chrome Disney Muppet cards Sydney: Yeah. TB: to make up the difference. That's right. 2025, Tobbs Chrome Disney, the Muppets. We have none other than Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and Animal. What do you think of these three? So I got four cards. Sydney: Those are sick, I like it. TB: You got five cards? Sydney: Mm. TB: Wow, it's close. I don't know. I think we might have to let the listeners decide. What do you think? Who who had the better who had the better buy? Sydney: I mean you got an autograph, so I feel like you win by default. TB: But for some reason he put IRS in quotation marks. I'm not sure what that was about. And his outfit Sydney: Yeah, I don't know. TB: is terrible. So that would not be my first go to IRS autocard. I don't know what the heck he was doing there. So that's a tough one. But I love putting the set together. And I think had you had a little more time, you could have found the Phineas collection or Phineas Sydney: Yeah. TB: to to complete the collection. So I think we might have to go with a draw on that one. What do you think? Sydney: Okay. I think you win, but you know, I'll take a draw any time. TB: I'm just gonna dock him for the terrible outfit and putting his own signature in quotation marks. Sydney: Yeah, that makes me think like is it fake? I don't know. Like, R S. Like that could have TB: Is his Sydney: been signed by anyone. TB: is his autograph scripted? man. Hey, Sydney: Could be, yeah. Who knows? TB: I think that was a good collector segment. Are you ready to talk some bills? Sydney: Yes. TB: All right. So, first off, kind of want to get this out of the way. There's no good way to say this, but I wanted to let you take a minute to address the Ed Oliver situation. Did you have anything you wanted to say about that, or should we kind of just Sydney: Yeah, I mean, I don't even feel right, like really even saying much about this. TB: Yeah. Sydney: obviously it's a really terrible situation. really sad and I saw this when I, you know, first woke up in the morning and I saw it on Twitter, and when you see things on Twitter, you're like, I'm not really sure if that's real or not. and I was hoping that it wasn't real. And then I saw it on like official like a news post, which is It's just terrible. but I really want to like commend the entire Bills organization for keeping this quiet for as long as they did. I mean, this happened a couple months ago, two months ago, and nobody said anything. and just kind of gave him his time and his privacy. I think that this came out without Ed's knowledge, from what I understand, which is just again TB: Yeah. Sydney: That's why I don't really even feel right about like talking about this in general because I don't think that he wanted this to come out. obviously it's just heartbreaking. So like I hope that he's doing okay and his family's okay. I mean, there's nothing that you can say that could make the situation better, but I just hope that, you know, the team and his family is like getting the support that they need because it's just awful. So TB: Yeah, yeah, well said. I think you texted me on this. I hadn't seen it yet. And I think the first thing I said is that's that's absolutely heartbreaking. I can't even imagine the pain that he and his family must be going through. It's just insane. There's no there's no pain like kid pain. you all as as a parent, you want to make sure your your child, your children are are always safe. taken care of and for something like this to happen, I can't even imagine being in his shoes. you know, the the the normal thoughts and prayers just doesn't hold up. It doesn't work. I don't think it's it's even applicable in a situation like this because I I just y you don't know what to say. There's no words that you could say to make anything feel better or feel right. I just hope that at some point in his life he can find the peace that he needs And look, I don't even want to make this about football. he's a human being. I can't imagine the pain he's going through. And it it would not hurt my feelings whatsoever if he didn't play a snap for the Buffalo Bills this year, because I could totally understand that. And I would never judge anyone for having to go through that journey. and whatever decision that him and his family make, I think is completely acceptable and and right. And who who am I to say? what he should or shouldn't be doing. So I just hope he gets the the support that he needs. And the thing that bothered me about this story was the Bills and the Bills reporters were extremely respectful to Ed and his family. And they kept this in-house and they knew about this for months and they sat on it and they didn't say anything. And I I commend them for that. And it was some clown outside of the organization looking for clout. I I understand That news and social media are driven by clicks and views and those things. But at some point we need to ask ourselves who we are as as humans and how we choose to treat people. And I could never I could never do that for notoriety or or clicks or whatever. I I just I can't I can't fathom that. So anyway, I think what you said was was well said. And yeah, I'm just I'm just gonna leave it at that. You have anything else? Sydney: No, the TB: All right. So not really an easy transition, but I thought we would talk for a a second or two about the the Bills' second preseason game. They won in Cleveland 31 to seven. Look, none of none of the starters really played. Kyle Allen played a a good bit. He was very successful. between the first two preseason games, I think he has almost a 80% completion percentage. So he is doing very well. Coming into this season, I gotta be honest, I was not confident at all in Kyle Allen. I'm still not convinced I'm going to be confident in Kyle Allen. What are your thoughts on the backup quarterback position in general? What is a reasonable investment that we should make as a team in the backup quarterback? And what are your expectations of any board backup quarterback to Josh Allen? Sydney: Yeah, I mean, this is tough because I feel like right now, especially with the recent draft class or the last few draft classes, there's been some pretty decent quarterbacks that have come out of that. Will all of them be starters? No. I think we're seeing that a lot in specific organizations like Pittsburgh for one, Cleveland for another, and there's a couple other situations where they have Two or three quarterbacks where they're all fighting for a number one spot. And I think for those TB: Yeah. Sydney: situations, especially in Pittsburgh, I mean, they had Drew Aller who just got drafted this past season, who was supposed to be the backup for the backup, and he kind of showed out, and I think now he might be Aaron Rodgers' number one backup. So it's like situations like that, I think it's way more important. Obviously. You never know what's gonna happen. So having a good backup is super important. it's just hard. There I don't know. Is Kyle Allen one of the best backups? I don't really know. I don't I like I hope to God, and no offense to him, that we never have to use him. and I I hope we never have to, you know, see him play other than in preseason. I'm sure he's great. I'm sure he could. be fine, but I just don't want to see him play. but I don't know. I think there's a lot of good talent right now in the quarterback position. So could he go on another team and start? Probably not. I I don't know. So what are your thoughts? TB: Yeah, it it's tough, right? When when you don't have a lot of money left for your team, backup quarterback is gonna be one of the spots where we just can't pay a lot of money. And so getting a guy that could be towards the end of his career that's, you know, a journeyman who has had a lot of success isn't isn't going to be in the cards. I mean, look how much money Sydney: Yeah. TB: Mitch Trubisky got to go to another team. I think he made like six or seven mil mil. And maybe I'm wrong, but I think that was the ballpark of his contract. We're not paying him six million to to be to never see the field. but again, there's there's a flip side to that. So you pay Kyle here a what one two million bucks to be the backup to Josh Allen and you pray he never sees a field. But if he does, do you have any confidence that he could go five hundred in the games Josh i is missing? I mean, look, if Josh gets hurt. We're we're we're screwed. And I think the same can be said for most teams who have a legit stud behind center. I mean, if you have a top five, top eight quarterback in this league and they go down for any significant amount of time, you're done. It's just the way the NFL is. Sydney: Mm-hmm. TB: It's it's very difficult to catch lightning in a bottle. And yes, there is some talent coming out of college, but it takes time and seasoning to develop these guys, and it's just not something that happens overnight. So to see Success instantly with some of these draft picks. And we really have never had the need to do that. Maybe in three, four years, when Josh is towards the back end of his career, maybe then it's time to start drafting and and and growing another another arm kind of in the bullpen. But right now, I think we're in this backup quarterback purgatory, right? Where we have to just take what we can get, the best of the backups. the the best of the backup to the backups, right? Like we're not we're not gonna get that that, you know, top of the line backup unless somebody's gonna take a huge pay cut to to come sit the bench behind Josh because knock on wood, he's been extremely healthy. He doesn't miss games and the guy's a freaking, you know, winner soldier. The they don't call him that for for no reason. So yeah, it's tough. I like I like that he's That Kyle's having success. Don't get me wrong. I I would much rather see this than him to come out and throw four pickles a game. So Sydney: Yeah. TB: it's just tough to really gauge it when these guys are going out and and balling against backups in Cleveland. But I Sydney: Yeah. TB: honestly, I didn't watch more than highlights of this game because I knew I was busy, first of all, and there was a lot going on. And did you see any of this game at all? Sydney: Nope. The only play I saw was Damar Hamlin TB: Mm-hmm. Sydney: getting an interception. It's the only thing I saw. TB: Yeah, and maybe that maybe that makes me a terrible podcast host when one of the three Ts is talking about the Bills. But I I'm I'm just ready. I'm ready for the season. Now I will say, I will say, tomorrow, I will be there in Orchard Park at the new high mark, but I'm not gonna be there to watch the game. I might watch half of it. I'm there to see the stadium, baby. I can't wait. Let's Sydney: Mm-hmm. TB: go. but yeah, definitely. There's they've already said there's not gonna be many starters playing tomorrow, so I'm not really going to check. The product out on the field, I'm just going for the experience and kind of do a dry run for the season. But the thing I did want to talk about is the other side of the field. The Cleveland Browns, because the story came out this week after that game. I'm not sure if you saw the press conference with Deshaun Watson and the fiasco that that came after that, and the decision the Browns made, naming him their starting quarterback for the season. What? If okay, put yourself in the shoes of a Cleveland Browns fan. You woke up and I can't remember what day they did this. I think it was Monday afternoon. You wake up Tuesday or you go to bed Monday night. How are you feeling if you're a Cleveland Browns fan? Sydney: I mean, it's a slap in the face. Sincerely, it's a slap in the face, legit. I mean, you just had Deshaun Watson go on the stand and he's talking about how he felt so disrespected by the city of Cleveland. You know, you guys booed me and I was injured. Like, you don't respect me. It has nothing to do with me not performing to what you guys had in mind. You guys just don't like me. You don't respect me. TB: That's the key line right there. And it has nothing to do with my performance. Yeah. Sydney: First of all, you don't respect me. I mean, it's just insane to me. Like the number one, the ego that you have for being a complete joke. And number two, I mean, there's a a very there's a strong reason why these people don't like you. And you just proved it. A hundred percent. You just sat up there and proved it. And then after all this happens, A few days later, you go and name him your starting quarterback when, first of all, he was shit in that preseason game. TB: Yeah. Sydney: I it it doesn't make sense to me, other than they paid him too much money. TB: Way too much. Sydney: And they don't want, I don't know, they don't want him to sit. I I don't know what it is because honestly, I've said this before. I think that they are doing Shadwar Sanders a huge disservice. He is more than capable. And I think, you know, so many people have come through Cleveland and they've just been done wrong. This is just another situation of that. If Shador has the chance, he should run. I mean, sincerely, they're going to wreck him. It's just so sad to see because I honestly think he is like a talented player. and I think, you know, going back to what you said, like he about Caleb Williams, he is more of like a polarizing player. You either really like him or you hate him. But I think he is talented and he has the ability to be better than Deshaun Watson. but as a fan, I could not imagine what you're feeling. I mean, we feel the passion that we feel for our organization, and then your organization just gives you two middle fingers. I mean, it's just I don't know. TB: Yeah, I couldn't believe he got up on the podium after the game and he basically said, They're not booing my performance. They're booing because they just don't like me. And I'm like, no, you're you're wrong. They're booing you for both reasons. Your your Sydney: Mm. TB: performance is garbage, and they're booing you because they don't like you. Like both of those things can be true at the same time. You are terrible. Like you're just terrible. You can't tell me that he is he has more of a chance than Shador. Who I think has also gotten a bad rep and has been up against the wall from the minute he got drafted to that team. And it's just been like a comedy of errors with things coming out of Cleveland. And I just I don't understand. You trade the best defensive player in the league. So great. You gotta you got a haul for him, by the way, but you better use that stuff to go get your next guy and to come out and name this dude as your starter, how If if if I've got time and money invested in season tickets, I don't know. And man, maybe we need to bring Austin back on to get his take on this because I can't even imagine. And and look, as a Bills fan who sat through the drought 17 years of terrible play, mediocre quarterback play, I would rather watch Nathan Peterman start. For the Bills than have Deshaun Watson as my quarterback. And Nathan Peterman was terrible. I would rather have EJ Manuel, who was terrible, Jeff Tool, who was terrible. I could keep going. I would rather have all these guys start for my team than to have Deshaun Watson. This guy's a joke. And the fact that he goes up there and literally says, Well, they just don't like me. That's why they're booing me. And I get he actually said I get more of a positive response when I go on the road. Really? Really, Deshaun? You think people are cheering you on the road? Are you serious? Like what stadium is cheering you? You never Sydney: No. TB: should be allowed to have have come back in the league. Now, look, everyone's entitled to second chances. I'm not going to sit here and play judge and jury. We we've seen it time and time again. Players make make terrible errors in their personal lives. They make terrible decisions when it comes to judgment. They put themselves in bad, bad. the bad, bad places, they make bad, bad decisions. Look, they're no different than than any of us, right? So I'm not gonna say that we're better than them, blah, blah, blah, blah. But they're being paid millions and millions of dollars to play a game. And this guy did heinous things, not to one person, not to two, but to upwards of 30 people. And and we're allowing him to be the starter for the Cleveland Browns. It just doesn't make sense to me. And if I were a fan of that team, I would be livid, just livid. I don't I don't know how I would feel. It's so frustrating. So frustrating. And I can't believe that your starting quarterback had the audacity to go up there and say, well, they just don't like me. Like, no, you they don't like you. That's true, but you are also terrible. Sydney: Yeah, I mean When I saw that clip, I'm not even a fan and it really pissed me off. Like seriously, I TB: Do you think Sydney: can't TB: yeah, absolutely, and I didn't mean to cut you off, but do you think fans Sydney: No, that's okay. TB: do you think fans have a right to boo? Sydney: A hundred percent. A hundred percent. I think there are instances where maybe it's not appropriate. but when your franchise is that bad, like I see people put bags over their heads. Is this valid for this situation? Yes, a hundred percent. If I was them, TB: Absolutely. Absolutely. Sydney: I wouldn't want to be there. What are you watching? Like seriously, what are you watching? You maybe get two wins out of the season. I don't I don't even know if you get that many. But like seriously, it's just I wouldn't want to pay for that product. I mean, things are so expensive nowadays. You're you're paying for parking, you're paying for drinks, you're paying for gas hotels, like I wouldn't want to pay for that. So it's disappointing. TB: And they and they have they have some really good weapons on that team, but this is the guy that is gonna be designated to lead these young players. That's the thing that's frustrating. You're asking him to be the leader Sydney: I mean and you and you you can't tell me TB: of men and and he has no track record of of being like a respected individual. And Sydney: No. TB: it's just it's it's so frustrating. I don't I don't know. Sydney: You can't tell me that the the actual players want him. And I know there there's been rumblings in the media of like the players on the Browns have said, I don't want so-and-so as my quarterback. I don't know if they were talking about Shador, I don't know if they were talking about Deshaun, but you can't tell me that they want that as their quarterback. Like you said, they have very good talent. They're a recent rookie, I think what's his last conception, Casey Conception. TB: Casey Concepcion. Yeah. Yeah. I I was hoping the Bills were Sydney: Yeah, sorry, I mispronounced it, but TB: I was I was hoping the Bills were gonna take him if if he was still available. And I think Cleveland took him like one or two picks before Buffalo was on the clock. Sydney: Mm-hmm. TB: This dude is a this dude is the legit, but you gotta get the ball to him. Sydney: It's just a waste of talent. Like I feel bad for the players that are drafted there. I feel bad for the players that are traded there. It's just a lost cause. And they don't want to change it. Clearly. TB: Yeah, yeah. I don't I don't know. That was tough. man. And now now you you think he's not gonna get ruthlessly booed in that Browns home opener when he comes out of that tunnel. He he has he has rolled out his own like that sentence. Like he's he's just made it a hundred times worse if he had Sydney: Mm-hmm. TB: humility. And he was humble and he's like, I got a lot to work on. I've been given a great opportunity. I didn't play well. I haven't played well. I have a lot to prove to my teammates, to the fans, to the community. And just taking that perspective, okay, now at least we have a roadmap for keeping this car on the tracks. But he comes out and he's like, Nobody likes me. It's like the he's like a little kid. Nobody like likes me. Everybody hates me. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You know, I'm like, dude, you clearly haven't learned anything in the last six years of your life. Like, there's no remorse. There's no like I I have to change my my my thought process here. And it's just I I hate to see that. I'm ever I'm all for giving people a second chance, but you have to show that you are trying to be better. Like that's the point, right? I'm never gonna say I'm perfect, but when I I I make a mistake, you gotta like own up to it. You gotta try not to make the same mistake and you gotta try to be a better person. Like there's no even attempt of humility with this guy. I don't know. Anyway, I don't want to spend any more time on this clown. Let's talk bills, right? So I gave you a task. I don't want to break down preseason game number two. And next week we'll we'll talk about my experience at the stadium and and dive dive into like getting ready for for opening day. But I wanted to talk to you about what your wish list is. for this team for this season. So I said pick five things, put them on your wish list. Any, any five things you want, right? My one caveat, you can't say Super Bowl, because that's going to be on every Bills fan's wish list from here to eternity. Number one, number five, number five hundred is I want to win a Super Bowl. Yeah, yeah, we know. That's too easy. So come up with five things and we'll go back and forth. Any five things you wish for that take place during the Bills season. Go. You could start with with five, go to one, whatever you want to do. You you tell me. Okay. Sydney: Yes, so yes. So I made a list and I'm gonna start with in my opinion the most important thing which is probably on your list too. A healthy slash injury free Josh. That was my number TB: Okay. I love it. I love it. I actually did not put that on my on my list. but because I kind of just thought in my back of my head that that was a given. But yes, absolutely. Give me a another perfect season for Josh as far as staying on the field and playing every game Sydney: Mm-hmm. TB: a hundred percent. So I'll give you my number one, my number one wish is actually to the fans. I want you all to actually enjoy. The first year in the building and please for the love of God stop complaining. That's my number five on the l I I'll call that number five. So what what do you think of that one? Sydney: Okay. No, I agree. I want all of us to enjoy it. I'm excited to get into the stadium in late November. That's my birthday present. I'm so TB: Let's go. Yep. Sydney: excited. November's gonna be crazy and I just I can't wait. So I agree. TB: Awesome. All right. So give me number two, number four, whatever way you want to look at it. Sydney: I had number two, DJ Moore. DJ Moore. TB: Okay. Sydney: A thousand plus yard season. TB: All right. All right. I think I think that's well within sight. Now Sydney: Yeah. TB: we we talked about it last week with Austin discussing fantasy value. Austin made the point that Josh likes to spread the ball around. I agree, but I think you and I've talked about before. I think DJ and Josh are gonna be on a mission. It's the J A to DJ combo. They're they're gonna make t shirts, mark my words, by the end of this year, and I'll probably buy one at some point. So I love it. Thousand Sydney: Yes. TB: yards for For DJ Moore, I am on board. My number two, I'm gonna go with Dalton Kincaid. I want him to play 16 games. I'm not gonna be greedy. I'm not gonna be greedy. I'm not gonna say 17. I'll even put one game in there. I want 16 games from Dalton Kincaid. Is that too much to ask? Actually, this should be my number one because I think he's probably outside of Josh, the most important player on the offensive side of ball. What are your thoughts? Sydney: Well my thoughts are for my number three TB: go go for it. Dive right in. Sydney: I had Dalton Kinkade plays a full seventeen game season. TB: All right. So we are we are absolutely in line. Perfect. Yeah, Sydney: Yeah. Yeah. TB: absolutely. I mean, there's really not much to talk about. When he's on the field, when he is part of the offense, we we said it I think last week. The offense is almost unstoppable. They score a ridiculous amount of points and it they're efficient. He's a great playmaker in the middle of the field. He can really stretch the field. And I think it's it's we you can't lose sight of that. So yeah, I I I I love it. So my number three. Which one do I want to go to next? All right, I'm gonna go with this one. My number three wish: we don't spend the whole year comparing Coach Brady to Coach McDermott. I don't want to do that. I don't want to have those conversations. Look, we're not gonna win every game. When we lose our first game, I don't want people calling in and going, we should have kept Coach McDee and where's McClappy and how could Joe do this and blah, blah, blah. I don't. Look, I don't think that's fair to either of them. I I loved Coach McClappy when he was here, but it was time to turn the page. Now this is Joe's run. Let's let's give him a little room to breathe and and kind of come into his own. Do you think is that is that is that too much to ask? Sydney: No, I'm just gonna piggyback on that with my number four because I feel like we're kind of on the same wavelength here. TB: Okay, hit hit me. Sydney: I had Joe Brady brings a new fire to this team and proves he can be the guy who can get us over the hump. TB: Yeah. Yeah. I think I think that's perfect. I love it. New fire. yeah, get us to the next get us to the next level. Let's see what you got. I'm excited. I love it. All right. I don't know which one I want to save for last, but all right, I'm gonna go with this one. Okay, so number four on my wish list, Dion Walker, Caleb Elarms Orr, and Cole Bishop become stars, and they are the future of this. Defense. So I picked Deion Walker for the for the defensive line, Elams Orr for the linebackers, Cole Bishop. Look, these guys are young. They're hungry. They are attacking dogs out there. I can't wait to see these guys come into their own and just start wrecking shop. I think we are creating the bones of a defense. Look, we might not be top like 12, 15 this year. Give it another year or two. And I could totally see us being in the top ten. with a new scheme led by new defensive coordinator Jim Leonard. I'm super excited to see what these guys can bring to the table. So that's my number four. All right, you got one left. Hit me. Sydney: James Cook has 10 plus touchdowns. And I think I believe he had 14 touchdowns last season. And I don't think that he is going to be used as heavily this season as he was last year. So TB: Okay. Sydney: that's why I lowered it to 10. I think that's still obtainable. However, I do think that we are going to be putting the ball in the air a lot more this season. TB: That's hope. Sydney: So I don't know, we'll see. I still hope that we use James Cook a lot because I think he is such a weapon. and I still want to see him be pretty productive this year. So I have him for at least ten touchdowns. TB: So 10 times the radio Bill's announcer will yell, the cook is in the kitchen. I love it. I love it. So perfect. And my number five or number one, depending on how you look at it, this is kind of directed at Brandon Bean. I saved this one for him. If there is a player at the trade deadline that can make this team better for the love of God, please go trade for him and make this team better. Put all your chips in. If we are ready to roll to the Super Bowl, it's I want to see the old sunglass on him, meme come back. Big baller bean, I think is what they used to call him. Like, let's make it happen. Let's go all in. this is the Jalen Waddle fiasco of last year. I Sydney: He i he is so irritating. He is so irritating. TB: If we go through a trade deadline with zero activity and we need a fit. Or there's a guy that could put us over the top and lead us to the promised land. We we gotta do it. I I don't think I could take another period of inactivity like that again. So no, I think that was what do you think? That was pretty good. I think we Sydney: Yeah, that was fun. I like that. TB: covered a bunch of topics. So and and that's the show. We're man, we're still at one fifteen. I thought we were gonna be under an hour, but well, no such luck. What what did you think of the episode? You got anything else you wanna you wanna hit on before we wrap this puppy up? 'Cause I gotta I gotta get some shut eye. I gotta head to Orchard Park tomorrow. Sydney: Yeah. No, I didn't know you were going. That's gonna be so fun. TB: Yeah, by the time this podcast comes out, I'll have already seen the game. So if you're listening, stay tuned. the review of the stadium's Sydney: I love it. TB: coming because I won't get to edit this probably till Friday morning or Friday, actually Friday afternoon. It might come out a little later than normal, but hey, that's just the way it's gonna be. Yeah, so we're hitting Sydney: It's all right. You got things to do. TB: Yeah, we're hitting the road, probably nine o'clock, get up there in the mid mid afternoon and then and then check out the site. So I'm super excited. And then we'll come home Sydney: Awesome. TB: Friday. So yeah, super, super excited. All right. Well, hey, good job as always. Thanks for for bringing the fire. yeah, I think that's gonna wrap it up. You got anything else before we sign off? Sydney: No, I think that's all. Till next time. TB: All right, stay stay away from the Thunder Boomers. Try to have a better week at work. And yeah, we'll wrap this thing up. So I think that's gonna do it for this episode of the three T's. If you have enjoyed this show, please help us out.
