Speaker 2: Yes, sir you were styling brother, I was, and you had your ponytail and all that.
• 2:03
Speaker 3: No, not the end.
• 2:04
Speaker 3: Oh, when was the ponytail?
• 2:07
  Speaker 1: Was that post?
• 2:08
Speaker 3: No, no, whip antennas I never worked where I could have a ponytail.
• 2:10
Speaker 3: I had to do all that before I got.
• 2:13
Speaker 1: It was the wig that you used to have that had the ponytail on it.
• 2:16
Speaker 3: Yeah, and it worked pretty good until it would blow off and go out the sunroof.
• 2:19
Speaker 2: Well, that would be a merkin yeah.
• 2:27
Speaker 3: Anyway, I'd be a merkin yeah, anyway, all right.
• 2:32
Speaker 1: No, I'm not even going to do the stories right now because I'm not going to be able to keep myself composed, but I thought we would have some recalls to tell you about.
• 2:45
Speaker 1: And guess who's up at the top of the list again Mercedes, ford Blank or distorted rearview camera image.
• 2:55
Speaker 1: These are all 2015 models Expedition F250, 350, 450, lincoln MKC, lincoln Navigator and the F-150 for 2025.
• 3:10
Speaker 1: For whatever reason, big jump there.
• 3:13
Speaker 1: Anyway, oh, that's a missing dashboard airbag warning label.
• 3:17
Speaker 1: There you go, it's being recalled for a label.
• 3:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, they wouldn't sell me one.
• 3:21
Speaker 2: They wouldn't sell me a car because of a label.
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: Really yeah.
• 3:24
Speaker 1: Couldn't they just put that in the mail to you or something?
• 3:26
Speaker 1: Nope, An improperly secured battery may cause a fire in the Ford F-150 Lightning BEV.
• 3:34
Speaker 1: A battery fire in a Lightning.
• 3:36
Speaker 1: A battery fire in a Lightning.
• 3:37
Speaker 1: Imagine such a thing.
• 3:38
Speaker 1: Engine failure We've done this a dozen times.
• 3:42
Speaker 1: Failure we've done this a dozen times.
• 3:43
Speaker 1: But 21 to 24 model years of the is it the 6.2 liter V8?
• 3:49
Speaker 1: Cadillac, Escalade, Escalade, ESV, Chevy, Silverado 1500, Suburban, Tahoe, Sierra 1500, Yukon and Yukon XL 21 through 24.
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: Engine failure it's a recall.
• 4:04
Speaker 1: Now they're talking about screw it, we're not going to mess with it anymore, we're just going to replace the whole thing altogether.
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: Way to go.
• 4:12
Speaker 1: Oh boy, you know, have you noticed?
• 4:13
Speaker 1: We went for decades without cars that had engine failures.
• 4:18
Speaker 1: We didn't have engine failures.
• 4:21
Speaker 2: Well, they were there, it's just that they weren't.
• 4:23
Speaker 3: No, not to this day.
• 4:28
Speaker 1: But they were out there.
• 4:28
Speaker 1: I remember my buddy, nick, whose dad bought him a 69, brand new from Richardson Chevrolet, brand new orange and black Z28 with the DZ302 motor in it.
• 4:40
Speaker 1: He went through five motors and they said we are not buying you another motor because he'd over-rev it.
• 4:46
Speaker 1: He'd over-rev the motor and it'd blow it up.
• 4:49
Speaker 1: They finally said we're not going to pay for it anymore.
• 4:53
Speaker 1: Dad said you're not having the car anymore.
• 4:56
Speaker 1: They had to trade the car in and buy something other than that.
• 5:01
Speaker 3: That was one of the things that made the Z28 so hot was the fact that little motor combination.
• 5:07
Speaker 3: Well, it was a solid lift.
• 5:08
Speaker 3: It revved so fast Right.
• 5:09
Speaker 1: It revved to 7,000 RPM and it had solid lifters in it that if you didn't adjust the lifters you were screwed and a good night of racing at the drag strip.
• 5:20
Speaker 1: You better take those valve covers off and adjust those lifters again, yeah.
• 5:27
Speaker 3: Because if you hit 7,000, if you're not really quick with that clutch, that engine is going to bump 8, maybe even 9 before you get it back under control.
• 5:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, there's that, and then you're sideways.
• 5:39
Speaker 3: You are, yeah, as the hood comes through the engine.
• 5:41
Speaker 3: By the way, George's CB handle was Atomic Bomb.
• 5:43
  Speaker 3: Atomic Bomb.
• 5:45
Speaker 3: The way George's CB handle was Atomic Bomb.
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: Atomic Bomb.
• 5:46
Speaker 1: Okay, george, that seems fitting.
• 5:49
Speaker 1: It does Duck and cover, yeah, there you go.
• 5:52
Speaker 3: That would have been a good one.
• 5:53
Speaker 1: Okay, so every week we take the Hemings Sold Car Roundup, which is the cars that they have sold online, and we pick a few out of there and I give the boys something to shoot for when it comes to the sold price.
• 6:10
Speaker 1: So I just thought, well, let's start with this one.
• 6:13
Speaker 1: This is a clone a 1966 Pontiac GTO convertible.
• 6:20
  Speaker 1: Now, I don't care whether it's a clone.
• 6:23
Speaker 1: That's fine with me because it keeps the price down low.
• 6:26
Speaker 1: So, what would it be?
• 6:27
Speaker 1: It would be a Pontiac Le Mans right Right From 1966 that somebody turned it into a clone made it look like a GTO.
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: It's a convertible Butternut yellow.
• 6:38
Speaker 1: Made it look like a GTO.
• 6:38
Speaker 1: It's a convertible Butternut yellow with what looks like a white interior.
• 6:41
Speaker 1: Is it Tempest or Le Mans.
• 6:44
Speaker 3: No, I think it must be the Le Mans by that time.
• 6:47
Speaker 1: Yeah, so what do you think that that would sell for?
• 6:50
Speaker 1: Now, let me just preface this by saying I think you might be surprised what it would sell, for it is a clone, because I had to look that up.
• 6:57
Speaker 1: Okay, now let me just preface this by saying I think you might be surprised what it would sell, for it is a clone, because I had to look that up.
• 7:00
Speaker 3: Okay, I'm going to set out, just because I know, a story about a different clone, but I'm going to set out at 28.
• 7:08
  Speaker 3: I'm going to go 14.
• 7:09
  Speaker 3: Jeff says 12.
• 7:10
Speaker 3: Sal, jeff Heitzman, jeff.
• 7:13
  Speaker 2: H says 12.
• 7:13
  Speaker 2: I say 14.
• 7:14
  Speaker 2: 19,425.
• 7:16
  Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm 14.
• 7:18
  Speaker 1: 19,425.
• 7:20
  Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm thinking.
• 7:20
  Speaker 1: You know what?
• 7:21
Speaker 1: For 20 grand I'm buying that.
• 7:22
  Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a beautiful car.
• 7:23
Speaker 3: I have a buddy that built.
• 7:24
Speaker 3: He had a 1969 Dodge Superbee convertible with a Hemi in it A clone Well, it was a clone, but I mean people would look at it and say, oh did they, but did they build super b?
• 7:41
  Speaker 3: Convertibles.
• 7:42
Speaker 3: No, it was a satellite that he took the convertible.
• 7:45
Speaker 3: Because he wanted a convertible.
• 7:47
Speaker 3: Okay, put the super b package on and I mean he fooled tons of people that he thought, oh, it must be one of 10 or something.
• 7:54
Speaker 3: No, they didn't build it.
• 7:56
Speaker 1: It's one of 9 million, well speaking of which, here's one that I know that I'm going to offend some people that are into this, so what's new?
• 8:07
Speaker 1: I think that that car is really ugly.
• 8:10
Speaker 1: This is a 1966 Plymouth Barracuda, my aunt had one.
• 8:15
Speaker 2: She had a black one and it was gorgeous.
• 8:17
Speaker 1: Well, this is not gorgeous, but it looks like it's all there.
• 8:20
Speaker 1: It probably doesn't have a straight fender on it, but lots of Bondo.
• 8:24
  Speaker 1: But whatever.
• 8:24
Speaker 1: A 1966 Plymouth Barracuda what does that say you?
• 8:30
  Speaker 3: can't tell, you can't tell.
• 8:32
Speaker 1: Anyway, they say it's a Barracuda.
• 8:34
Speaker 1: I'm going to believe them with that great big ugly back glass.
• 8:37
Speaker 1: That glass is expensive.
• 8:38
Speaker 2: That is a rare item there.
• 8:40
Speaker 1: So what do you think that that car sold for at no reserve at Hemmings online?
• 8:49
Speaker 3: I would say $6,000 for the car and $12,000 for the back glass $6,000 for the car.
• 8:52
  Speaker 3: I would say maybe $10,000.
• 8:54
  Speaker 3: Heitzman says $13,000.
• 8:58
Speaker 1: And does George chime in on this one?
• 9:00
Speaker 1: No, no, okay, so it sold for $9,500.
• 9:04
Speaker 3: Oh, but again it was close.
• 9:05
  Speaker 3: Yeah, no.
• 9:07
  Speaker 2: If I got $9,000,.
• 9:09
Speaker 1: It ain't going to be on there.
• 9:09
Speaker 2: Probably because that wheel package is awesome yeah.
• 9:14
Speaker 3: They buy it to make race cars out of them.
• 9:17
Speaker 2: Okay, well, look what well it's got prime wheel tires.
• 9:19
Speaker 2: Look by the in front of the back wheel.
• 9:21
Speaker 2: That's an exhaust pipe.
• 9:22
  Speaker 2: It is.
• 9:22
Speaker 2: Yeah, I had one like that.
• 9:23
Speaker 2: I bet on my nova too.
• 9:24
Speaker 2: Okay, next up prowler.
• 9:30
Speaker 1: Okay, well, you could probably tell already that is not a stock factory paint job, because they never painted the car that way.
• 9:38
  Speaker 1: Why?
• 9:38
  Speaker 1: Because it's ugly.
• 9:39
Speaker 1: It's orange with a black top on it and a black convertible.
• 9:45
Speaker 1: The car is very cool.
• 9:46
Speaker 1: My dad loved that car.
• 9:49
  Speaker 1: My dad did.
• 9:49
Speaker 1: Did they come with?
• 9:51
  Speaker 3: a top?
• 9:51
Speaker 3: I don't think they came with a top.
• 9:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, a little cloth top.
• 9:57
Speaker 1: The car's not very big.
• 9:58
Speaker 1: No, it's a two-seater and I had one out of the press fleet.
• 10:04
Speaker 1: Really, oh my God, it had a V6 in it that had no horsepower, but every time you'd tromp on it it'd twist the frame.
• 10:12
Speaker 1: The whole thing was just loosey-goosey, you could tell, kind of like a PT Cruiser.
• 10:18
  Speaker 2: One of those.
• 10:18
  Speaker 2: Remember the PT.
• 10:19
Speaker 2: I had one Golly A company car.
• 10:21
Speaker 2: Oh horrible, they were cheap and they were easy company cars.
• 10:24
Speaker 1: Yeah, so 99 Plymouth Prowler.
• 10:27
Speaker 1: What do you think that that sold for $11,000.
• 10:31
Speaker 1: Well, not that cheap.
• 10:32
Speaker 3: No, no, no, no.
• 10:33
  Speaker 3: I'm going to say $22,000.
• 10:35
Speaker 2: All right, I'm out then, because I don't think it's worth it.
• 10:37
  Speaker 2: Heisman says $26,000.
• 10:39
  Speaker 1: $32,000.
• 10:40
Speaker 1: See that's and that ugly paint job.
• 10:43
Speaker 1: It's not factory, it's not stock.
• 10:45
Speaker 1: No, that ruins the whole thing to me.
• 10:47
Speaker 1: All right, moving on to number one, number four, rather.
• 10:51
Speaker 1: This would be a 1966 Lincoln Continental convertible.
• 10:58
Speaker 1: Looks in pretty decent shape, it does.
• 11:02
Speaker 1: It's like butternut yellow.
• 11:03
Speaker 1: It's got full wheel covers on it, white wall tires, it looks clean.
• 11:07
  Speaker 2: Black convertible.
• 11:07
  Speaker 2: Black leather.
• 11:09
Speaker 1: I'm thinking that this car may be an original, could be, but it's beautiful, michael, for what it is.
• 11:14
Speaker 1: What do you think, michael?
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: I'm going to go 14.
• 11:15
Speaker 1: I, but it's beautiful, michael, for what it is.
• 11:17
Speaker 1: What do you think, michael?
• 11:18
  Speaker 3: I'm going to go 14.
• 11:19
  Speaker 3: I think it's more of a 14?
• 11:21
  Speaker 3: .
• 11:21
Speaker 3: Somebody's going to want that?
• 11:22
  Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, jeffrey.
• 11:25
  Speaker 1: I'll go 12.
• 11:26
Speaker 1: And Mr Heitzman 30.
• 11:29
  Speaker 1: 30?
• 11:30
  Speaker 1: , 30?
• 11:31
Speaker 1: And the actual retail value of this sold car it's sold for $66,100.
• 11:40
Speaker 3: What I gave you a hint there must be a lot of powder in the trunk.
• 11:46
Speaker 2: What hint did you give it's?
• 11:47
Speaker 2: Butternut yellow no the hint was, it looks like it's all original.
• 11:51
Speaker 2: Oh well, All original could mean a torn seat.
• 11:55
Speaker 2: It could be whatever the rear end's crunched in.
• 11:58
Speaker 2: You can't see it.
• 11:59
Speaker 1: This looks like a very clean, original car.
• 12:02
Speaker 1: What's that on the grill?
• 12:03
Speaker 1: Probably a doctor's badge or something like that.
• 12:07
Speaker 1: Yeah, something like that.
• 12:07
Speaker 1: Anyway, because that was the thing back in the day.
• 12:11
  Speaker 1: Remember Shriners?
• 12:12
Speaker 1: It looks like a Shriners emblem.
• 12:13
Speaker 1: Well, whatever, yeah, day, remember Shriners?
• 12:14
Speaker 1: It looks like a Shriners emblem.
• 12:14
Speaker 1: Well, whatever, yeah man.
• 12:16
Speaker 1: Now then next up, not even close, a 1988 Nissan Pathfinder.
• 12:25
Speaker 1: This is at the beginning of the SUV era.
• 12:29
Speaker 1: This also was Nissan's way of saying here's our Yukon, yeah, so let's call it an SUV and, I'm sorry, the year again 88.
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: , 88.
• 12:45
  Speaker 2: I'm going to go 10 grand, I was thinking 14.
• 12:48
  Speaker 3: Really, huh.
• 12:51
Speaker 3: It's another one of those things that it's no reserve.
• 12:56
Speaker 1: Yeah what did that sell for?
• 12:57
  Speaker 1: Heitzman says $33,000.
• 12:59
  Speaker 1: $3,000.
• 13:01
Speaker 1: That tires are worth that.
• 13:04
  Speaker 2: That's what I would think.
• 13:05
Speaker 1: I was just going to say you know what?
• 13:06
Speaker 1: Three grand, I'd buy that yeah.
• 13:09
Speaker 2: That'd be a good little knock-around town car.
• 13:11
Speaker 1: That would be a great car for a kid going to high school.
• 13:15
Speaker 2: Yeah, Three be a great car for a kid going to high school yeah, yeah, yeah, three grand look at it's clean, the way it gets dinged up, and who cares why?
• 13:23
Speaker 2: It's got a big uh catcher on the front there, you know jeff's about to get a big promotion.
• 13:27
Speaker 1: yeah, did you know that?
• 13:28
Speaker 1: No, and this is the car that he's going to select.
• 13:30
  Speaker 1: Oh boy, it's a 1999 mercedes-benz sl 500aw.
• 13:35
  Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really a nice-looking car.
• 13:38
Speaker 1: I don't know the mileage on it, but let me just say that it's super clean and it's the SL500.
• 13:48
  Speaker 1: So it's a four-seat, two-door convertible, kind of minty green, 21.
• 13:55
  Speaker 1: 21.
• 13:56
  Speaker 1: Mars.
• 13:59
Speaker 3: I was thinking more like 36.
• 14:00
Speaker 3: 36, okay, I have no idea.
• 14:03
Speaker 1: What did Jeff say?
• 14:04
  Speaker 1: 39.
• 14:05
  Speaker 1: , 39.
• 14:06
  Speaker 1: 26, 250.
• 14:09
Speaker 2: And that's if it hasn't been recalled.
• 14:14
Speaker 3: Recalls are no extra charge, yeah.
• 14:16
  Speaker 1: When do?
• 14:16
Speaker 3: we stop the recalls.
• 14:17
Speaker 3: Is there a limit to recalls 25?
• 14:17
  Speaker 1: extra charge.
• 14:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, when do we stop the recalls?
• 14:18
Speaker 1: Is there a limit to recalls 25 years or something?
• 14:21
Speaker 1: I don't think so okay, and finally, your lawyer is that we have jeff heitzman's new ride, saddle river township, a 1929 american la frrance fire truck Open cab.
• 14:36
Speaker 1: Okay, and it's got the running boards and the back running board.
• 14:44
Speaker 1: What do you recall that thing?
• 14:44
Speaker 2: back there, the back running board yeah.
• 14:46
Speaker 1: It's where they stand, right.
• 14:47
Speaker 1: Yeah, the fireman's stand.
• 14:48
Speaker 1: Well, it used to be that way, Not anymore.
• 14:49
Speaker 1: But yeah, 1929 American LaFrance fire truck what would that you think?
• 14:55
  Speaker 1: Run you.
• 14:57
Speaker 3: Man, I think it's fully restored.
• 14:59
Speaker 2: It does I'm going to bump 40.
• 15:01
  Speaker 2: Oh okay, I wasn't thinking that high, I'll go 32.
• 15:05
  Speaker 2: 32.
• 15:06
Speaker 2: Weitzman says nine $40,425.
• 15:11
Speaker 1: Good job, but what do you do with something like?
• 15:15
Speaker 2: that it does its museum, but where do you store it?
• 15:16
Speaker 3: something like that it does its museum.
• 15:17
Speaker 3: No, but where do you?
• 15:19
  Speaker 2: store it.
• 15:19

• 15:29
Speaker 1: All right, so let's move on and do the 1984.
• 15:33
Speaker 1: This is the businessman sedan.
• 15:38

• 15:43
Speaker 1: This is a nice car, yeah, and at the time it was top of the heap 17.
• 15:49
  Speaker 1: 17.
• 15:55
Speaker 3: No, I'd say it's probably still about $20,000.
• 15:59
Speaker 3: Okay, heitzman says $35,000.
• 16:02
  Speaker 1: $10,500.
• 16:04
Speaker 1: There you go, mr Businessman.
• 16:05
  Speaker 1: Hey, hey, Business.
• 16:07
Speaker 1: Little Johnny, you just turned 16.
• 16:11
Speaker 1: You got your driver's license.
• 16:12
Speaker 1: Here's your brand new car to go along with it.
• 16:14
  Speaker 1: $10,000.
• 16:17
Speaker 1: You wreck that thing.
• 16:17
Speaker 1: Whatever it is that you run into.
• 16:19
Speaker 1: Here's your brand new car to go along with it.
• 16:21
  Speaker 1: Ten grand.
• 16:21
Speaker 1: You wreck that thing.
• 16:22
Speaker 1: Whatever it is that you run into, it's toast what does that thing weigh 10,000 pounds?
• 16:24
  Speaker 3: I don't know, probably so.
• 16:25
  Speaker 1: Probably so.
• 16:25
Speaker 1: Right, and last but not least, it's a thing, thing, a thing Got a thing.
• 16:30
  Speaker 1: It's a 1974 Volkswagen, what they term as a 181.
• 16:36
Speaker 1: I think it's a South American car, so here in the States we called it the Volkswagen thing, 1974 thing.
• 16:47
  Speaker 1: What did that?
• 16:47
Speaker 2: sell for Seven grand.
• 16:52
Speaker 3: We call it a POS.
• 16:53
Speaker 3: It had no horsepower, but Mr Barnes, no, I'm going to say 18.
• 16:59
  Speaker 3: Heitzman says 23.
• 17:02
Speaker 1: And Jeff says 7.
• 17:02
  Speaker 1: , 7.
• 17:03
  Speaker 1: $8,900.
• 17:05
  Speaker 3: See 8,000,.
• 17:06
Speaker 3: I would buy one.
• 17:07
Speaker 1: See, but here's the issue those things were born to rust.
• 17:12
Speaker 1: Yes, and that's why you don't see very many of them, because they've all melted away in the junkyard.
• 17:18
Speaker 2: Can they have plugs in the floor to let the water out?
• 17:20
Speaker 3: I don't remember, and it's got a propeller on the top, yeah, but even if it don't have a hollow, you can make a hollow.
• 17:25
Speaker 1: Well, yeah well, that car ain't lasting long.
• 17:28
Speaker 1: You'd have to completely disassemble it and fix it.
• 17:31
Speaker 1: Take it to the beach or a beach.
• 17:33
  Speaker 1: There you go.
• 17:33
Speaker 1: That'd be a beach car, mike.
• 17:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly you keep that down at the beach.
• 17:36
  Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
• 17:37
Speaker 1: Well, go for it For $8,000, I would.
• 17:38
Speaker 3: You can't even buy a new golf cart for that.
• 17:41
Speaker 1: You missed an opportunity man Missed an opportunity.
• 17:43
Speaker 1: Hate it when that happens.

• 19:44
Speaker 1: Let's check in with Jeff's car culture.
• 19:48
Speaker 2: You betcha, despite the overall solid and stable market of classic cars, there are some cars that have actually lost their value.
• 19:56
Speaker 2: This first one we have is a 1957 Ford Thunderbird.
• 20:00
Speaker 2: The Ford Thunderbird was fresh.
• 20:02
  Speaker 2: Everybody loved it.
• 20:03
Speaker 2: The car wasn't excessively oversized, rather, a two-seater came with a well-proportioned design.
• 20:08
Speaker 2: The removable top as well as a panoramic windshield were highly appreciated among the young drivers.
• 20:14
  Speaker 2: In 57, the model had a 202 cubic inch V8.
• 20:17
Speaker 2: It was improved by mating it to twin McCullough superchargers.
• 20:21
Speaker 2: This stock modification aimed to increase the power outlet to 300 horsepower and 340 pounds worth of put that's stout.
• 20:28
  Speaker 2: Yep.
• 20:29
Speaker 2: Now this back in the day, or not very long ago, actually a couple years ago this car was 40 grand.
• 20:35
  Speaker 2: Today it's less than 30.
• 20:37
Speaker 2: It's about 29.4 is what they've elevated today, and this is according to Hagerty.
• 20:47
Speaker 2: The next one we have on the plate is a 1957 Pontiac Bonneville Gorgeous car.
• 20:50
Speaker 2: The Pontiac Bonneville was only produced in 56 and 57.
• 20:51
  Speaker 2: It's a very expensive car.
• 20:52
Speaker 2: Back in the day.
• 20:52
Speaker 2: The reason it was priced that way it had higher.
• 20:54
Speaker 2: It was higher than its competitors with a limited production.
• 20:57
Speaker 2: They only made 630 of these units and each of the units was destined for the Pontiac dealerships on the US side.
• 21:06
Speaker 2: Nothing went abroad and you know how you like broads.
• 21:09
Speaker 2: The Bonneville presented some outstanding features that were pretty uncommon on most 50s cars.
• 21:14
Speaker 2: Everything was power, everything was electric.
• 21:16
Speaker 2: So it was a high-class, very quality car.
• 21:19
Speaker 2: Back not very long ago it was 112 500, today it's about 73 grand.
• 21:26
Speaker 2: Wow yeah, jaguar 65, the jaguar e -type, si 4.2.
• 21:32
Speaker 2: In response to the american corvettes and the german porsche, uh, jaguar released the stunning and beautiful e-type, which was also called the most beautiful car ever made by Enzo Ferrari himself.
• 21:43
Speaker 2: So he tagged that Presented in 61.
• 21:46
Speaker 2: At the Geneva Motor Show the speechless audience was amazed by its aircraft-inspired lines and some innovative technical solutions.
• 21:53
Speaker 2: Back in the day, not very long ago, the car was $130,000.
• 21:57
  Speaker 2: Today it's a little over $100,000.
• 21:59
Speaker 2: So it has lost some value there.
• 22:02
Speaker 2: The next one we have is a 1953 to 1954 Cadillac Eldo Gorgeous car.
• 22:08
Speaker 2: Oh my God, look at the size of that thing.
• 22:10
Speaker 2: I know they all say that.
• 22:12
  Speaker 2: Yes, they do.
• 22:13
Speaker 2: The Cadillac Eldorado was the most luxurious model produced by the car manufacturer up to that time.
• 22:18
Speaker 2: Every single detail of the car bears a sense of fanciness and just extraordinary, starting from the car's name.
• 22:26
Speaker 2: Some say the Eldorado was suggested in reference to the mythical city of gold.
• 22:30
Speaker 2: Some others reported that the same name was chosen at the Eldorado Country Club located in Coachella Valley, california, the favorite holiday location for the GM top executive management.
• 22:41
Speaker 1: What are those things called Dag bars, dag bars?
• 22:44
Speaker 2: Now, not very long ago, this car was $162,500.
• 22:47
  Speaker 2: Today it's about $120,000.
• 22:49
Speaker 2: So they did lose value.
• 22:51
Speaker 2: Next we have the 58 Ferrari 250 California long wheelbase.
• 22:56
Speaker 2: There is a difference?
• 22:57
Speaker 2: Uh-huh, the most desirable Ferrari of all time is the 250 California.
• 23:00
  Speaker 2: No, it's not.
• 23:01
  Speaker 2: That's what they're telling me.
• 23:02
Speaker 2: Okay, the two-seater came in two different wheelbase versions a short wheelbase model and a long wheelbase model.
• 23:07
Speaker 2: This one's the long, Extremely high-value, collectible car, also due to limitless production of only 50 units.
• 23:14
Speaker 2: The beating heart of the Ferrari 250 California is a three-liter naturally aspirated V12.
• 23:18
  Speaker 2: 250 California is a 3-liter naturally aspirated V12.
• 23:20
Speaker 2: Produce some 240 horsepower a little weak, While one of the 50 models in good condition could possibly get $12,500,000.
• 23:29
Speaker 2: Today's value is about $9 million.
• 23:33
  Speaker 2: There you go.
• 23:34
Speaker 2: Watch your money, people.
• 23:34
Speaker 2: When you're buying Ferraris, Don't just throw it away.
• 23:36
Speaker 2: The last one we have here.
• 23:38
Speaker 2: Gorgeous car, I want one.
• 23:43
Speaker 1: The 1970 Buick Riviera GS.
• 23:45
Speaker 1: Baby who put the skirts on the back wheels?
• 23:48
  Speaker 2: I don't know but I'd drive it.
• 23:49
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, baby, here we go.
• 23:51
Speaker 2: The Buick Riviera has a special role in the golden era of muscle car fleets.
• 23:54
Speaker 2: Due to the high-end nature of this car, it received a warm welcome since its very first release.
• 23:59
Speaker 2: It wasn't a muscle car like the others.
• 24:02
Speaker 2: Its luxury interior, completed by wooden details and fine leather seats, made the Riviera stand out, I agree.
• 24:08
Speaker 2: Also, in 1970, the Grand Sport package was available.
• 24:12
Speaker 2: The Riviera wasn't only about details, but it was a car of substance.
• 24:16
Speaker 2: Bulky, 455 cubic inch developed 370 horsepower, for instance.
• 24:20
Speaker 2: Bulky, 455 cubic inch developed 370 horsepower.
• 24:22
  Speaker 2: 0 to 60 in 7.9.
• 24:23
Speaker 2: Back in the day it was 20 grand.
• 24:25
Speaker 2: Today you can get it for about $14,000.
• 24:27
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 24:29
Speaker 2: So there you go.
• 24:30
Speaker 1: Hey, that's my future right there.
• 24:31
Speaker 2: There you go Get rid of the Corvette, skirts and everything.
• 24:34
Speaker 1: Think that the Corvette's expensive to take care of.
• 24:36
Speaker 1: Can you imagine trying to find parts for that thing?
• 24:39
Speaker 1: Plus, it's bigger than the Corvette.
• 24:40
Speaker 1: You need a bigger garage Time now for this hour's car review, Mr Mars the.
• 24:45
Speaker 3: Ford Explorer yeah, buddy, this is a 2025.
• 24:50
  Speaker 2: Ford Explorer.
• 24:51
Speaker 3: Now Explorer, explorer, explorer, Explorer, explorer Final assembly point is in Chicago, illinois.
• 24:58
Speaker 3: I can get that part straight.
• 24:59
Speaker 3: Four trim levels Active, the ST line and then the Platinum and then you have the ST standalone.
• 25:05
Speaker 3: Now we happen to be driving the Active, which is actually the base model.
• 25:09
Speaker 3: Now this is considered a standard SUV.
• 25:11
Speaker 3: We used to call them midsize, but now they're standard Seats six people because of the interior, the way we had it said.
• 25:19
Speaker 3: Now it's been refreshed on the front and rear and this is the sixth gen of this vehicle, so they offer a bench seat in the front.
• 25:28
Speaker 3: No, no, we have bucket seats in the second row, so it's two, two, two oh okay, I was saving that for later.
• 25:36
Speaker 2: We'll get to the interior parts.
• 25:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll get to the interior parts, we'll get there.
• 25:39
Speaker 3: So you're going to find you've got the automatic LED headlights, taillights, fog lights and even LED signature lamps.
• 25:45
Speaker 3: They make a big deal out of that.
• 25:46
  Speaker 3: Yeah, they do.
• 25:46
Speaker 3: Heated side mirrors, got black roof rails, got a rear spoiler that's body colored.
• 25:52
Speaker 3: Power liftgate, got the optional 20-inch 10-spoke wheels that we're rolling on Now.
• 25:59
Speaker 3: On now, this is the.
• 25:59
Speaker 3: On the interior, it's got activex seating material.
• 26:01
Speaker 3: Front seat is buckets.
• 26:02
  Speaker 3: They're heated.
• 26:03
Speaker 3: Second row is buckets.
• 26:04
Speaker 3: Third row is a 50, 50 fold flat that is, I'm going to say, uh, very suited to smaller personnel.
• 26:13
Speaker 3: Now you're going to find that you've got a 12.3 inch digital gauge cluster, that for the driver, configurable several, several different ways that you can configure that.
• 26:23
Speaker 3: You've got a 13.2-inch touchscreen, which is new for this year, and that's where you're going to find your infotainment, your nav, all your convenience controls.
• 26:31
Speaker 3: It has Android Auto, apple CarPlay and they're starting to bring in more of the Google services there.
• 26:37
Speaker 3: Usb-c's on all levels for all the seats.
• 26:42
Speaker 3: I really like the way that controls were laid out, particularly the shifter in the console.
• 26:47
  Speaker 3: It's a rotary shifter.
• 26:48
Speaker 3: I would rather have seen it up on the dash where I had a little more room down on the console, but that's fine.
• 26:53
Speaker 3: 2.3 liter EcoBoost up underneath the hood, 300 horsepower, 310 pound-feet of torque, backed by a 10-speed automatic.
• 27:01
Speaker 3: It 300 horsepower, 310 pound-feet of torque, backed by a 10-speed automatic, so you can actually tow 5300 pounds with this vehicle.
• 27:05
Speaker 3: Now the epa says in the city you should be looking for about 20, highway 27 combined about 23.
• 27:10
Speaker 3: I drove this vehicle 451.3 miles, got 21.5 miles across that whole thing and I really like the wide power band because it really rolled up pretty quick when you started it and rolled into it.
• 27:29
Speaker 3: It was very responsive, nice wide power band, great road manners, very comfortable to drive.
• 27:32
Speaker 3: Now the base trim price on this vehicle $39,785.
• 27:33
Speaker 3: You're going to find that the base model price was $41,755, as tested MSRP at $48,520.
• 27:40
Speaker 3: Something to compare it to the Kia Telluride starts at 36,390.
• 27:44
Speaker 3: Mazda CX-90 37,845 and the Hyundai Palisade at 37,200.
• 27:50
  Speaker 3: Great driving vehicle.
• 27:52
Speaker 3: I really like driving it.
• 27:53
Speaker 3: It just should have been a two-row.
• 27:54
Speaker 3: Anyway, that's my review of the 2025 Ford Explorer.
• 27:56
Speaker 3: Anyway, that's my review of the 2025 Ford Explorer, you know if I'm not mistaken.
• 28:03
Speaker 1: I don't think that gets recalled very much.
• 28:07
Speaker 3: No, it doesn't and, like I say, that's the 6th gen that was introduced in 2020.
• 28:11
Speaker 3: So they've been tweaking it pretty good for the last five years.
• 28:14
Speaker 1: A friend of mine asked me.
• 28:15
Speaker 1: You know I'm really looking at that new Nissan Armada.
• 28:20
Speaker 2: I said okay, it's big why?
• 28:21

• 28:23
Speaker 1: Oh, okay, it's big, why?
• 28:24
Speaker 1: Well, it's not as big as you think.
• 28:25
Speaker 1: They've cut back on that.
• 28:30
Speaker 1: But this is a first-generation vehicle.
• 28:32
Speaker 1: You sure you want to get into that, because you're basically being a test mule?
• 28:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, you're a skinny pig, yeah.
• 28:38
Speaker 1: Expect problems and expect it to be recalled.
• 28:41
Speaker 1: It's just part of the deal.
• 28:43
Speaker 1: You want to be cutting edge?
• 28:44
