Many times in life, we seek for mountain top experiences in God. We can have this idea that as we grow and mature in Him, it is like the continual ascent into glory. But the truth is that for every mile of climb, we slip and slide along the way. We get detoured. The road or path has washed away and the way forward is not clear. Sometimes the fog and mist comes in, making visibility impossible. Isaiah 46:4 Even to your old age I will be the same, and even to your greying years I will bear you!
