- 0:07Speaker 2: What's up, everybody? Welcome to move the Sticks, DJ and
- 0:09Speaker 2: Rhett with you today. Bucky will be back tomorrow. Rhet
- 0:12Speaker 2: with your fancy microphone that looks like Rush Limbaugh gifted
- 0:15Speaker 2: it to you, and this will How are you doing, Bud.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I'm good man. I'm waiting on your arrival here. We've
- 0:22Speaker 1: got a Thursday night football together tonight.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why we're gonna be in a little crunch
- 0:25Speaker 2: on this episode, because I gotta beat some traffic get
- 0:28Speaker 2: from San Diego to Los Angeles in time for tin.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Who's playing? By the way, who do we got?
- 0:32Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah, it's the Rams and Niners.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Yeah it's a pretty big one. Yeah, yep, that's a
- 0:36Speaker 2: big one. Looking forward to seeing you and and digging
- 0:38Speaker 2: into that ball game. A little two hour pregame, little
- 0:40Speaker 2: we have half a just posts.
- 0:43Speaker 1: We have pre and post no half Oh, all.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Right, dinner's up to you. I'm gonna leave that up
- 0:49Speaker 2: to you to figure out what we're getting. Do not
- 0:51Speaker 2: rely on the catered food. It is nobo, not great.
- 0:56Speaker 1: So what are we what are we doing here?
- 0:58Speaker 2: All right, here's what we're doing. Let me tell me
- 1:00Speaker 2: what we're gonna do, Belichick. I want to get your
- 1:02Speaker 2: thoughts on that. We haven't talked since this happened. I
- 1:04Speaker 2: haven't even talked to Bucky about this. I'm looking forward
- 1:06Speaker 2: to getting hit where. But so we've got the little
- 1:10Speaker 2: Belichick talk, We've got the Game of the week, and
- 1:11Speaker 2: then we're going to do our rookie draft and the
- 1:12Speaker 2: Bill's going to take over for Bucks if you can
- 1:14Speaker 2: help him out a little bit. Bucks, I'm closing the
- 1:17Speaker 2: ground on you a little bit after last week, but
- 1:19Speaker 2: Bucks still got some room to make up there, so
- 1:22Speaker 2: you'll see when you get to that point. I'm closing in.
- 1:25Speaker 2: But Belichick, just give me your first thought like this,
- 1:27Speaker 2: did you think? Like? Because my first thought was I
- 1:30Speaker 2: was using this to try and get some NFL team
- 1:32Speaker 2: to commit to him, you know, And then I'm like, well,
- 1:35Speaker 2: he took it all the way actually, so I don't
- 1:37Speaker 2: think that's the case.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I think I think if you were
- 1:42Speaker 1: ever looking for a reason to believe that the NFL
- 1:46Speaker 1: is or that college football is essentially the NFL light,
- 1:51Speaker 1: then this is it. Because this is ten years ago.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Bill Belichick never considers this but now, I mean like
- 1:59Speaker 1: he's basically just working with an NFL calendar and an
- 2:04Speaker 1: NFL type of personnel acquisition set up. It's just on
- 2:09Speaker 1: a lesser scale in terms of money, even though the
- 2:12Speaker 1: money he's getting pretty big, and a lot of cases
- 2:15Speaker 1: like this is it like he's got a he's got
- 2:16Speaker 1: a salary cap, he's got the revenue share number, he's
- 2:18Speaker 1: got the nil number. He knows what he has to do.
- 2:20Speaker 1: He's been one of the best at finding ways to
- 2:24Speaker 1: get the most out of that you know, budget or
- 2:28Speaker 1: salary cap over the course of the of his career
- 2:30Speaker 1: in the NFL. Why would this be any different bringing
- 2:32Speaker 1: Lobardi with him to be the GM Like it just
- 2:35Speaker 1: it makes sense now, you know, as crazy as that sounds,
- 2:38Speaker 1: but this makes sense to me.
- 2:40Speaker 2: There's a lot of different layers to it. Number One,
- 2:42Speaker 2: I was struck by the fact that how many years
- 2:45Speaker 2: did we uh I shouldn't say we, but just a
- 2:47Speaker 2: collective and you were up there in that market so
- 2:50Speaker 2: you heard it. Oh my gosh, the Patriots get to
- 2:53Speaker 2: buy to the playoffs every year they're in the freaking
- 2:55Speaker 2: AFC East. It stinks. It's like, hey, where should we
- 2:58Speaker 2: go in college? To the big ten. No no, no, no,
- 3:00Speaker 2: no acc. Let's go get in the ACC. See what
- 3:03Speaker 2: we can't do there. No, it's not a bad strategy.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Uh, get an automatic bit, you know, jump on it,
- 3:10Speaker 1: jump on into the tournament.
- 3:11Speaker 2: The other thing was I was looking at it thinking,
- 3:15Speaker 2: you know, people are looking at how they're going to
- 3:16Speaker 2: build a roster and what they're going to do, and
- 3:18Speaker 2: I'm I'm almost looking at it as like he's going
- 3:21Speaker 2: to try and rebuild like a Stanford Harbaugh type roster.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Whereas if you're trying to find an edge and everybody's
- 3:29Speaker 2: competing for the same kids, what if you said, we
- 3:32Speaker 2: want a corner the market on the smart kids, but
- 3:35Speaker 2: we can offer a little bit more in terms of environment,
- 3:39Speaker 2: and obviously with the pedigree of the coaching staff and
- 3:41Speaker 2: things like that of the other smart schools. If we're
- 3:44Speaker 2: going to say Northwestern Stanford, you know, places like that,
- 3:47Speaker 2: I could see him going for that type of a
- 3:50Speaker 2: kid because one of his advantages as a coach is
- 3:52Speaker 2: he's been able to identify and bring in players that
- 3:56Speaker 2: can handle volume. They can handle volume on offense and
- 3:58Speaker 2: on defense. There's a complexity to it, that's not that's
- 4:03Speaker 2: like the opposite of how college football has been the
- 4:05Speaker 2: last you know, however many years, which is, let's keep
- 4:08Speaker 2: it simple, let's get as many five star freak athletes
- 4:10Speaker 2: as we can, especially on the defensive line, and let's
- 4:13Speaker 2: just let those guys play free.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah, and in the flip side, you know, he's got
- 4:17Speaker 1: the benefit of a track record to say, Look, I
- 4:19Speaker 1: mean I take players, I put them in the best
- 4:22Speaker 1: possible position to succeed, and we're going to find ways
- 4:25Speaker 1: to maximize your ability, right, I mean, tell me what
- 4:28Speaker 1: you can do, not what you can't do. And he's
- 4:30Speaker 1: going to maximize the can do and a lot of
- 4:33Speaker 1: these players. So yeah, I think that would make a
- 4:34Speaker 1: lot of sense, you know. I mean, you know, his
- 4:38Speaker 1: his son. You know, Steve has done a pretty good
- 4:39Speaker 1: job there, you know, rebuilding a team on the defensive
- 4:43Speaker 1: side of the ball at Washington, you know. And I
- 4:47Speaker 1: think that the scheme has proven that it can work.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I don't know that we've seen it, you know, on
- 4:51Speaker 1: a consistent basis at the collegiate level just yet, but
- 4:54Speaker 1: I think, yeah, you go, you go after those kids
- 4:56Speaker 1: who can handle volume of scheme and volume of you know,
- 4:59Speaker 1: late to that coaching in a different game plan every week, right,
- 5:03Speaker 1: and a different type of you know, game plan each
- 5:05Speaker 1: and every week. And yeah, I think you could definitely
- 5:08Speaker 1: be successful.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I have this image in my head, by the way,
- 5:11Speaker 2: and uh, and we can move on. So we've got
- 5:13Speaker 2: to cover a little bit of ground here. But do
- 5:15Speaker 2: you remember the movie The blind Side and Michael Lohr
- 5:19Speaker 2: is out at is out at practice and they have
- 5:21Speaker 2: Philip Fulmer. They have all those coaches all kind of
- 5:23Speaker 2: lined up there. I think I don't know if Saban
- 5:25Speaker 2: was in that or not. I know ed Eddie Oh
- 5:26Speaker 2: was in it. Yeah, so they have all these coaches
- 5:29Speaker 2: they're watching practice, and so that I'm just imagining in
- 5:31Speaker 2: my mind, like you're Johnny high schooler and you look
- 5:35Speaker 2: over and you see Kenny Dillingham, and then you see
- 5:39Speaker 2: Dan Lanning and you see Bill Belichick. It's like, which
- 5:42Speaker 2: one of these does not look like the others? I mean,
- 5:44Speaker 2: you've got these young, vibrant, energetic coaches coming off you know,
- 5:48Speaker 2: playoff seasons, and then you've got the guy, oh yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 2: the winningest or the second winningest coach in NFL history
- 5:54Speaker 2: with eight Super Bowl rings. Like it's it's gonna be
- 5:57Speaker 2: fascinating to see how people respond to that. I have
- 5:59Speaker 2: a set that you know, you're going to come into
- 6:01Speaker 2: some of these homes and you're going to say, I
- 6:03Speaker 2: coached Randy Moss, and a lot of the high school
- 6:05Speaker 2: kids are going to go, who's Randy Moss? Well, that's
- 6:09Speaker 2: I'm telling you, dude. When you see I've seen it
- 6:12Speaker 2: at the combine when with some of these guys coming
- 6:14Speaker 2: through like that, a lot of these guys aren't you know,
- 6:16Speaker 2: is logged in, especially the further you get removed from
- 6:19Speaker 2: it from the NFL.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I guess I could see that. I could certainly understand
- 6:24Speaker 1: that part of it as well, but you could also
- 6:27Speaker 1: be like, oh, hey, do you guys remember Tom Brady? Like,
- 6:29Speaker 1: I think I think that you're going to have some
- 6:32Speaker 1: carry over here and the fact that Bill has been
- 6:34Speaker 1: in the media and on a lot of the platforms
- 6:37Speaker 1: that kids are engaging with these days. I think you're
- 6:41Speaker 1: going I think you're going to see a greater familiarity.
- 6:44Speaker 1: And I mean, like he tells you he can get
- 6:48Speaker 1: you to the league, You're gonna believe it, you know.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I think I think that's that's a pretty big selling
- 6:54Speaker 1: point here too.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Yeah. I also think in some ways you know the NFL,
- 6:59Speaker 2: what made it great is that you had the level
- 7:01Speaker 2: playing field, right, anybody can win. It's different than baseball
- 7:03Speaker 2: and basketball, like everybody is is has got equal chance
- 7:07Speaker 2: there to win. But some of it is dependent on
- 7:09Speaker 2: when and where you can find the quarterback. Like if
- 7:12Speaker 2: you just happen to be picking at the top of
- 7:14Speaker 2: the draft when there's no quarterbacks, and then when there
- 7:16Speaker 2: are quarterbacks, you're just outside their reach, you can go
- 7:19Speaker 2: decade without being any good. Whereas in college football right now,
- 7:23Speaker 2: it almost can make a case that it's never been
- 7:25Speaker 2: more level than it is now. If you're not good
- 7:27Speaker 2: year one, guess what the half the country's going into
- 7:29Speaker 2: the transfer portal. You can fix all your solve all
- 7:31Speaker 2: your problems in one year. That's why I'm saying it's
- 7:34Speaker 2: more level, That's.
- 7:35Speaker 1: What I'm saying. Yeah, Like I think this is this
- 7:38Speaker 1: is going to be just fine. I think it's a
- 7:39Speaker 1: great outside the box type of higher but it's probably
- 7:43Speaker 1: more inside the box than anybody really thinks with the
- 7:45Speaker 1: way that the game is structured now.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm I'm curious, you know, with Michael Lombardi
- 7:50Speaker 2: going there. He's a very smart dude who has been
- 7:53Speaker 2: a general manager and knows how to properly allocate money.
- 7:56Speaker 2: It's one thing if you have if you have ten million,
- 7:59Speaker 2: and I'm just throw out number. If you're a school
- 8:00Speaker 2: that has ten million to spend and I have seven
- 8:02Speaker 2: million to spend, but I know how to properly spend
- 8:05Speaker 2: the seven million and identify the priorities versus you giving
- 8:08Speaker 2: a guard two million dollars a year like this is
- 8:11Speaker 2: that's the NFL. Like you've spent your whole life in
- 8:14Speaker 2: understanding the value per position and it's gonna that's gonna
- 8:17Speaker 2: be a huge asset for both of those guys.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Why do you think kurtz Signetti was so successful at
- 8:22Speaker 1: Indiana this year? Like, it's not just because he was
- 8:25Speaker 1: brash and talked about it, like they can avout his staff.
- 8:29Speaker 1: He and his evaluated talent better than anybody in the
- 8:32Speaker 1: conference this year. They found guys that were gonna win
- 8:34Speaker 1: in their scheme and they did. And so if you
- 8:37Speaker 1: can do that, you're gonna win in college football.
- 8:40Speaker 2: No question, in a favorable schedule. But anyways, let's uh, oh,
- 8:43Speaker 2: I'm just messing with you. I'm just messing with you.
- 8:46Speaker 2: All right, It's time for the game. Of League presented
- 8:47Speaker 2: by Draft Kings Sports Book. This week, it's a big
- 8:51Speaker 2: and we've got the Bills at the Lions that spread
- 8:53Speaker 2: his minus two and a half favorite the Lions over
- 8:55Speaker 2: under his fifty four and a half rhet You are
- 8:57Speaker 2: are resident Lions watcher of over the lean years, the
- 9:03Speaker 2: bad years. Yeah, so I feel like now that, now
- 9:05Speaker 2: that they're good, I feel like, you know, I give
- 9:07Speaker 2: you the right away here, where do you want to
- 9:09Speaker 2: go with this one?
- 9:10Speaker 1: Look, I think if the Rams found a way to
- 9:12Speaker 1: put up forty points, the Lions are going to be
- 9:15Speaker 1: in pretty good shape in this game. Now, sure the
- 9:17Speaker 1: Bill's going to find a way to correct some things
- 9:19Speaker 1: and try to, you know, tighten things up a little
- 9:22Speaker 1: bit on the defensive side of the ball after their
- 9:24Speaker 1: last outing lost to LA. Yes, but the Lions are
- 9:29Speaker 1: you know, arguably, maybe not even arguably, but they are
- 9:32Speaker 1: a more talented offense than the Rams are, you know,
- 9:35Speaker 1: especially when you look at the run game and the
- 9:37Speaker 1: way that the different paths that they have to victory here.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I feel like this after seeing last week. Now, look,
- 9:45Speaker 1: Josh Allen can put a team on his back and go,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you know, win a game.
- 9:47Speaker 2: But which he did last week.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Well, dang near did right, But I think I think
- 9:53Speaker 1: the Lions have too many ways to win this game.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I was the only one. We have to do
- 9:58Speaker 2: those picks for NFL dot Com. There's a bunch of us.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I was the only one that picked Buffalo to win
- 10:03Speaker 2: this game. And I look, I think it's a shootout.
- 10:05Speaker 2: But I think we can focus on what's wrong with
- 10:07Speaker 2: the Bills defense, and I can also say this offense
- 10:10Speaker 2: is completely locked in right now with what they did
- 10:13Speaker 2: last week and the way they've been playing that I
- 10:15Speaker 2: don't need their defense to be good. I just need
- 10:17Speaker 2: their defense to get one or two more stops.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Yeah, hold them to thirty five.
- 10:21Speaker 2: That's it.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Thirty five. Yeah.
- 10:22Speaker 2: And I'm like, I'm just going with like the luck
- 10:24Speaker 2: of the you know, the luck factor here, like maybe
- 10:26Speaker 2: a ball ricochet is, maybe you get a drop, maybe
- 10:28Speaker 2: a ball pops up in the air. But it's just
- 10:31Speaker 2: whereever you choose to look at it, it's what's you know,
- 10:33Speaker 2: wrong with the Bill's defense or what's right with the
- 10:35Speaker 2: Bills offense. I mean, I think we know exactly what
- 10:37Speaker 2: we're going to get with the Lions. They've been a
- 10:38Speaker 2: much more steady on both sides.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's a fair way to look at
- 10:42Speaker 1: it too. But I just find that there's going to
- 10:46Speaker 1: be opportunities for Detroit in this game, you know, offensively,
- 10:50Speaker 1: and I mean the way the way that Jared Goff,
- 10:54Speaker 1: you know, has been so efficient with the football, like
- 10:56Speaker 1: they just don't miss, you know, and with with Sonic
- 11:00Speaker 1: and Knuckles over there running the football like that's it's
- 11:03Speaker 1: just gonna be. They can go anyway they want, Like
- 11:05Speaker 1: they can ground it, grind it out, pound you in
- 11:07Speaker 1: the run game, or they can air it out all
- 11:10Speaker 1: over the place. So I just I just feel like
- 11:12Speaker 1: the path of victory is a lot wider for the
- 11:14Speaker 1: Detroit Lions.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Of this game. Why not this game a little bit,
- 11:17Speaker 2: and let's put it in postseason perspective, who do you
- 11:20Speaker 2: think has the greater chance of coming out of their
- 11:23Speaker 2: conference between these two teams?
- 11:26Speaker 1: A good question. I have to put that down in
- 11:29Speaker 1: the production meeting notes here for Network pre game tonight.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I think, as you look at it right now, the
- 11:39Speaker 1: Lions have the better path to get I mean, look,
- 11:41Speaker 1: they've got the Eagles standing in their way, whereas the
- 11:44Speaker 1: Bills always have the Chiefs standing in their way. And
- 11:47Speaker 1: have not gotten over that hump in the right in
- 11:49Speaker 1: the postseason yet. So at this point, I would say
- 11:52Speaker 1: the Lions, what.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Do you think I'm gonna cheat, because I'm going to say,
- 11:57Speaker 2: whoever wins this game has the greater path if the Bills.
- 12:01Speaker 2: If the Bills win this game, they're still at least
- 12:04Speaker 2: alive for the number one overall seed. You know that
- 12:08Speaker 2: she needed Chiefs to stumble a couple of times, but
- 12:10Speaker 2: the you know, the Chiefs schedule down the stretch is
- 12:13Speaker 2: not easy, so at least they would still be alive.
- 12:15Speaker 2: If the Bills lose this game, guarantees they go on
- 12:17Speaker 2: the road. I look, I think they're I think their
- 12:20Speaker 2: roster uh stacks up well right this year with the
- 12:24Speaker 2: Kansas City Chiefs, we've seen it, so to me, they've
- 12:28Speaker 2: sure they can. They could win that ballgame. The Lions
- 12:31Speaker 2: lose this game, and somehow that championship game now changes
- 12:35Speaker 2: destinations from Detroit to Philly.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Maybe it's different that.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Changes it a little bit. I might lean more towards
- 12:41Speaker 2: Philadelphia on that one. That's why what I'm getting at
- 12:43Speaker 2: is this is a not only the game of the week,
- 12:44Speaker 2: this is a very big game in the landscape of
- 12:47Speaker 2: both the AFC and the NFC huge, So we'll see,
- 12:52Speaker 2: we'll see what happens. I you're gonna go with the Lions.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I'm gonna stick with the Bills pick. But I do
- 12:57Speaker 2: think it's I do think it's a very close ball.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Download the Draft Kings sports Book app now and use
- 13:02Speaker 2: code MTS. New customers can bet just five bucks to
- 13:05Speaker 2: get one hundred and fifty dollars in bonus bets. If
- 13:08Speaker 2: your bet wins only on DraftKings Sportsbook with code MTS,
- 13:12Speaker 2: the crown is yours. Let's take a quick break rhet,
- 13:15Speaker 2: we'll come back. We'll do the rookie draft right after this.
- 13:21Speaker 2: All right, the results from last week, as we look
- 13:25Speaker 2: at it here, I got a five pointer, Bucky got four,
- 13:29Speaker 2: You got three rhtt. And that's that's saying something because
- 13:32Speaker 2: Girndo Coe, your guy Garndo, he got you a boatload
- 13:37Speaker 2: of points there. But then a weird week for brock Bauer,
- 13:40Speaker 2: so he doesn't get you any points. And then Marvin
- 13:43Speaker 2: Harrison Junior doesn't get you any points. So Tyrone Tracy
- 13:46Speaker 2: got me a second place. A Doneesa got me a
- 13:50Speaker 2: first place, so that helped. And then Worthy got me
- 13:53Speaker 2: a second place, and Bucky went with his namesake. Did
- 13:56Speaker 2: not go well. And I feel bad.
- 13:58Speaker 1: About that because, yeah, I told him to remember that.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it didn't work out.
- 14:02Speaker 1: For five minutes.
- 14:03Speaker 2: He did get some points for neighbors. He did get
- 14:05Speaker 2: some points for BTJ. So today we're gonna have an
- 14:09Speaker 2: Bill step in for Buck. So the Bill will pick
- 14:12Speaker 2: for Bucky. Bucky is picking third. Rhet you are up first,
- 14:16Speaker 2: and I'm gonna follow you up here. It's all yours.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I am going to go quarterback here, and I'm
- 14:24Speaker 1: going to go Jayden Daniels.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Okay with the first pick. I like that. You know
- 14:33Speaker 2: what's tricky about the other two quarterbacks is that you
- 14:35Speaker 2: can say, well, Bo Nicks is, you know, he's been
- 14:39Speaker 2: playing better they're at home, or he's been awesome against
- 14:42Speaker 2: the Colts, which I like. But when the Bears and
- 14:44Speaker 2: you look at the matchup and go, gosh, the Vikings,
- 14:46Speaker 2: that defense don't love that, but they are they are
- 14:50Speaker 2: becoming masterful of getting some garbage numbers and stats. They
- 14:54Speaker 2: have kind of they have kind of got that going.
- 14:56Speaker 2: But I'm gonna I'm gonna go quarterback here. I'm gonna
- 14:58Speaker 2: go with Bow Nicks.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it makes sense.
- 15:01Speaker 2: N Bill, what are we What are you going with here?
- 15:03Speaker 2: For Buck? You want to just throw it in the chat?
- 15:05Speaker 2: Who are you picking? He's gonna go Brock Bowers. So
- 15:08Speaker 2: that's his first one. He gets to come back to back.
- 15:10Speaker 2: What if Buck he ends up winning this week with
- 15:12Speaker 2: the Bill calling the shots.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Might have to just bow out and just letting the
- 15:16Speaker 1: Bill take the.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Ring, tap in, tap in Neighbors. He's gonna go with
- 15:21Speaker 2: Neighbors with his second pick. All right, I am up next,
- 15:26Speaker 2: And again we're saying it doesn't have to be a
- 15:28Speaker 2: running back.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and now we're gonna get the Now we're gonna
- 15:31Speaker 1: now everyone's gonna find out just what kind of until
- 15:33Speaker 1: you got on Ladd McConkey.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I know I'm gonna wish, I'm gonna wish. Well, here's
- 15:40Speaker 2: the thing, it's not just Ladd McConkey. Like, as we're
- 15:42Speaker 2: recording this, who's throwing in the bar?
- 15:44Speaker 1: Right?
- 15:45Speaker 2: That might be a bigger concern. Fair. Yeah, I'm I'm
- 15:51Speaker 2: gonna go be TJ. I'm gonna go be TJ with
- 15:53Speaker 2: this one man?
- 15:55Speaker 1: All right, So I got back to backers here, right, Yeah,
- 15:59Speaker 1: what do we know about Irving, Like, are we uh,
- 16:02Speaker 1: we're coming back.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I have the latest on their injury report here.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Uh gives concerning Bucky Irving. Okay, we're gonna leave Bucky
- 16:10Speaker 1: Irving out of the mix. Yeah, I saw concerning in
- 16:13Speaker 1: a headline. That's enough. That's enough for me on this one. Okay, man,
- 16:18Speaker 1: this is this is tough. You got you got a
- 16:22Speaker 1: good you got a good young wide receiver. dB matchup
- 16:27Speaker 1: in Arizona this week, Marvin Harrison maybe seeing Christian Gonzalez
- 16:30Speaker 1: a little bit. I don't like that one after the
- 16:33Speaker 1: way that Gonzales or that Harrison treated me this past week.
- 16:38Speaker 1: So and right again with no Maconkey, I feel like
- 16:44Speaker 1: we're running out of give me Garrindo again, I'll go again.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I mean, there's just nothing. I mean there's I just
- 16:55Speaker 1: don't know that there's a better way to go about
- 16:57Speaker 1: that right now. And then Giants.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Pass offense is a little tough, a little tough.
- 17:05Speaker 1: We're going with Tommy DeVito this week against give me
- 17:11Speaker 1: Tyrone Tracy too. I'm gonna go to running backs.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna gomconkey. Okay, all right, you gotta roll
- 17:23Speaker 2: the dice, you gotta roll the dice.
- 17:24Speaker 1: A little bit somewhere.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Nobile, who are you going with?
- 17:28Speaker 1: No?
- 17:28Speaker 2: Bill? Uh? You are going Drake May? Huh, there you go?
- 17:34Speaker 1: Yeah, makes it overcare By the way, I did see it.
- 17:37Speaker 2: I did see a tweet the other day that was
- 17:38Speaker 2: fantastic that Who would have thought that was the weirdest
- 17:41Speaker 2: trade in history? Drake May for Bill Belichick's.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Great Wait, how about Kingsbury? You see Kingsbury's quote today
- 17:51Speaker 1: on Belichick. Yeah, he was like, I'll believe it when
- 17:54Speaker 1: I see it. I got to see him on the sidelines.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I can't. I can't envision my man doing a home
- 17:59Speaker 1: visit right now, is what he said.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Man, Yeah, oh that is too funny. But I mean,
- 18:04Speaker 2: do you even do that really much anymore? It's just
- 18:06Speaker 2: here's the price, what's your number? Here's your number?
- 18:09Speaker 1: Yeah, Like does it matter that you go in and
- 18:10Speaker 1: sit on there and.
- 18:11Speaker 2: It's any rate? I mean, I don't. I'll say this
- 18:14Speaker 2: with Bucky not being here. It's a it's a great school,
- 18:18Speaker 2: it's a great location. You know, there's a lot, there's
- 18:20Speaker 2: a lot to sell there right there. I don't know
- 18:22Speaker 2: if he's going to be the one doing the selling,
- 18:24Speaker 2: but there's a lot to sell. Yeah, so that's man,
- 18:29Speaker 2: that's going to be fascinating. Do they what's their schedule?
- 18:31Speaker 2: Does app State play them next year? Hold on, we
- 18:35Speaker 2: don't play him next year? That's unfortunate.
- 18:37Speaker 1: TCU at Charlotte Richmond, at UCF at cal uh in
- 18:43Speaker 1: C State. Yeah, no, app State. But that's a that
- 18:48Speaker 1: is a very eight to nine wins schedule, maybe ten
- 18:54Speaker 1: with the way that you're looking at this thing here
- 18:56Speaker 1: they I mean, they've got Clemson. Duke's been better, Syracuse
- 19:00Speaker 1: has been better. I mean, but I feel pretty good
- 19:06Speaker 1: about that.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Yeah, a fan, Well, do we have boss? Do they
- 19:09Speaker 2: play Boston College?
- 19:10Speaker 1: Do we get the We don't get the Bill O'Brien, No,
- 19:13Speaker 1: we don't get it.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Looking forward to that, all right, I have to scoot.
- 19:17Speaker 2: I gotta get in the car, get out here up
- 19:19Speaker 2: here and do a little TV with you. So we're
- 19:20Speaker 2: gonna roll, but be on the lookout. Tomorrow, Bucky will
- 19:24Speaker 2: be having a conversation with Adam. Feeling great to hear
- 19:27Speaker 2: from him about the job he's done for the Carolina
- 19:30Speaker 2: Panthers this year as they've been really competitive against some
- 19:32Speaker 2: of the best teams and learn a little bit about
- 19:34Speaker 2: Bryce Young and his growth and development, So be on
- 19:36Speaker 2: the lookout for that tomorrow. I we appreciate you. We'll
- 19:39Speaker 2: see you right here on with the sticks
