- 0:06Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to No Dribble, the podcast where we
- 0:09Speaker 1: talk about netball, but we talk about so much more.
- 0:11Speaker 1: And we are currently sitting about three thousand kilometers to
- 0:16Speaker 1: the west of the epicenter of the netball world. At
- 0:19Speaker 1: the moment, after a crazy week for the Diamonds and
- 0:23Speaker 1: a whole lot of stuff going on in the Dame
- 0:25Speaker 1: Noles space, it just seems like New Zealand might be
- 0:28Speaker 1: the center of the netball universe right at the moment. Anyway,
- 0:32Speaker 1: I'm Caroline Swindel.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I don't know if they want to be under the circumstances,
- 0:36Speaker 2: but I'm Catherine Cox. We'll chat about that. I'm sure
- 0:38Speaker 2: we will.
- 0:39Speaker 3: And I don't have a No Dribble merch T shirt
- 0:42Speaker 3: on because I'm not part of the gang and I'm
- 0:44Speaker 3: a bit hopeless. And I'm Liz Allis.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Oh, well, you're so part of the gang. There is
- 0:49Speaker 1: no gang without you, and I have a T shirt
- 0:51Speaker 1: here for you. I just have to go to the
- 0:53Speaker 1: post office.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Oh do you know how much do you feel when
- 0:57Speaker 3: you go to the post office like you've done some
- 0:58Speaker 3: really good adulting. I had to go to the post
- 1:00Speaker 3: office last week. I have to send I had to
- 1:04Speaker 3: send a bodysuit to donate to the new South Wales
- 1:07Speaker 3: Champions of Sport ahead of the big dinner in a
- 1:09Speaker 3: couple of weeks and.
- 1:10Speaker 1: We want to talk about that.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Oh well, well, anyway, they've at me to send something
- 1:17Speaker 3: like something down to them and I've just you know,
- 1:19Speaker 3: no time. I don't pay my bills anymore, so why
- 1:22Speaker 3: would I send things to places?
- 1:23Speaker 2: Anyway?
- 1:24Speaker 3: I was like, right last week, I'm going to the
- 1:26Speaker 3: post office. And I went to the post office and
- 1:28Speaker 3: I went to the bank, all in one day. For
- 1:31Speaker 3: twenty twenty five is done.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Thank you with the slow cook I forget the slow
- 1:36Speaker 2: cooker on I've adulted the ass off the morning on
- 1:39Speaker 2: the school.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Holidays, we're up in Orange with my in laws and
- 1:43Speaker 1: I went to I did one day and I went
- 1:45Speaker 1: to the bank and the post office within the space
- 1:47Speaker 1: of half an hour. And it was like, this is
- 1:50Speaker 1: why you don't live in Sydney, right, because you can
- 1:52Speaker 1: get two things. So the post office up there, though,
- 1:55Speaker 1: they've got change rooms, with the idea being you get
- 1:58Speaker 1: your parcel of your clothes delivered, you tried them on
- 2:01Speaker 1: and if they're not right, you can send them straight back,
- 2:04Speaker 1: which miss Elizabeth Ellis.
- 2:05Speaker 2: That would be.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Perfect for you, so you don't have an Aesos return
- 2:08Speaker 1: sitting on the desk behind you for a full year.
- 2:11Speaker 2: That's actually ingenious, it is, isn't it. It must be
- 2:14Speaker 2: a woman running the show there.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I assume, so well, there she was. The woman who
- 2:18Speaker 1: helped me out was so lovely. She's never seen anyone
- 2:20Speaker 1: use the fitting rooms yet, but I just thought that
- 2:23Speaker 1: is genius.
- 2:24Speaker 2: That is particularly in.
- 2:25Speaker 3: The country where you do have to do a lot
- 2:28Speaker 3: of online shopping.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah, true, very true. On the body suit or whatever
- 2:32Speaker 2: you sent off, Where do you have that stuff.
- 2:35Speaker 3: In one of the spare bedrooms in my house?
- 2:38Speaker 2: Just in bags? Have you got? No?
- 2:40Speaker 3: I've given heaps of it away, So I've given some
- 2:42Speaker 3: to When I was inducted into the New South Wales
- 2:47Speaker 3: Hall of Champions I gave some away. Then I gave
- 2:50Speaker 3: a heap away to the National Museum in Canberra. I
- 2:53Speaker 3: gave a heap away to the Australian Sports Museum, and
- 2:58Speaker 3: I sent off out or two it strict from the
- 3:01Speaker 3: two thousand and seven World Cup and my playing dress
- 3:04Speaker 3: from the two thousand and two Commonwealth Games. And as
- 3:08Speaker 3: of today the cupboard is almost bare. There's not much left,
- 3:12Speaker 3: is that?
- 3:12Speaker 1: Lots of bodysuit? Is it a Uni tart?
- 3:16Speaker 3: It's like a cozy. Yeah, it's like a swimming coze,
- 3:19Speaker 3: isn't it with a skirt out. It's like a little
- 3:21Speaker 3: lyco skirts down into it. So that's I mean, it's
- 3:23Speaker 3: what we wore in the olden days.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I k. Or twenty four to seven. You know your
- 3:29Speaker 2: cozy has got your bum all the time?
- 3:30Speaker 1: Yeah? That went up your ass every time you took
- 3:33Speaker 1: a step, didn't lease? I saw that was shirel mcmak. Yes,
- 3:37Speaker 1: she wins the World Cup, pulls a bodysuit out of
- 3:40Speaker 1: her ass. But while we're on it, Liz, you've sent
- 3:43Speaker 1: the bodysuit off because something pretty body impressive is happening
- 3:46Speaker 1: on the twenty fourth of November. Can you tell us?
- 3:50Speaker 3: Well, I'm getting elevated to the status of legend in
- 3:54Speaker 3: the New South Wales Whold Champions and it's a bit funny,
- 3:58Speaker 3: isn't it. You sort of that's amazing fifty Oh well,
- 4:02Speaker 3: I'm pretty much done for awards and stuff now, but anyway,
- 4:05Speaker 3: so I've got a lovely phone call from a gentleman
- 4:07Speaker 3: called Alan Weldon, who was in charge of the Hall
- 4:09Speaker 3: of Champions and when we were playing Catherine, he used
- 4:11Speaker 3: to come to every Swifts game. So he's a netball
- 4:14Speaker 3: fan from way back. He and his beautiful wife Helen,
- 4:16Speaker 3: and I am actually on the committee that decides who
- 4:19Speaker 3: goes into the Hall of Champions, right, So we had
- 4:23Speaker 3: this really funny meeting a few months ago and everyone
- 4:25Speaker 3: was a bit weird and I thought, I thought, have
- 4:29Speaker 3: I upset somebody? And I had to recuse myself because
- 4:33Speaker 3: Money Gerard is also going into the Hall of Champions
- 4:36Speaker 3: on the same night, and I had to recuse myself
- 4:38Speaker 3: because I didn't want to be seen to be, you know,
- 4:41Speaker 3: breaking the rules when one of my old teammates and
- 4:44Speaker 3: friends is getting assessed as to whether she can go in.
- 4:47Speaker 3: So and it was just there was just some weird
- 4:49Speaker 3: you know, you get weird vibes when you know people
- 4:51Speaker 3: are trying not to say something. And I was like, oh,
- 4:53Speaker 3: and so when Alan rang me, I thought he was
- 4:55Speaker 3: ringing me to say, listen, it's probably time for you
- 4:57Speaker 3: to step off this committee. You know, like when the
- 5:02Speaker 3: night that Matthew and I got engaged, he was being
- 5:04Speaker 3: so weird, you know, you like, and I've had lots
- 5:08Speaker 3: of other people say to me the night that my
- 5:10Speaker 3: partner asked me to get married, I thought were breaking
- 5:13Speaker 3: up because it was so weird and Matthew was really
- 5:15Speaker 3: weird and he was holding my hand in a weird
- 5:17Speaker 3: way because I didn't realize that the ring was in
- 5:19Speaker 3: his pocket and weirdness, and I had this sort of
- 5:22Speaker 3: I mean, I just had that sort of similar sense
- 5:24Speaker 3: that something weird was going on. Anyway, also very similar,
- 5:27Speaker 3: something nice happened.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 5:29Speaker 2: That is very exciting. So what does that means? You're
- 5:32Speaker 2: coming down for the dinner. It's a big dinner and
- 5:34Speaker 2: then they like present you or you're up on stage
- 5:38Speaker 2: or whatever. I'm coming. I'm excited, Harper and I going.
- 5:40Speaker 2: We've got dresses, excited and the fans coming.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yes.
- 5:45Speaker 3: So Austin is still deciding whether he wants to come,
- 5:48Speaker 3: despite the fact that I've booked him a plane ticket.
- 5:50Speaker 3: He's a bit like I might get bored, and I'm
- 5:53Speaker 3: starting to think that he would be. So anyway, Matthew
- 5:55Speaker 3: and Mum and Evelyn are definitely coming. We have not
- 5:58Speaker 3: got dresses, we have not got any idea. I'll find
- 6:00Speaker 3: something in the wardrobe. So yeah, So we're coming down,
- 6:03Speaker 3: and I actually don't know what the process is because
- 6:05Speaker 3: I haven't been to one of these things for a while.
- 6:07Speaker 1: So it's very secret too. There's a secret ritual and
- 6:11Speaker 1: you may never speak of it once you leave the room. Yeah,
- 6:14Speaker 1: I'm seeing kneeling with a knife, knife a sword. Well,
- 6:22Speaker 1: Austin can come and stay here and he and my
- 6:24Speaker 1: son can talk again about being early advanced readers and
- 6:27Speaker 1: best friends of the librarians and Lego and Star Wars
- 6:31Speaker 1: and all the other stuff. But ye, congratulations, that's amazing.
- 6:34Speaker 3: It's very.
- 6:36Speaker 2: About all the uniforms because you've given a lot of
- 6:38Speaker 2: way they is the understanding. They're just donated until such
- 6:41Speaker 2: time as that they want to change the exhibition or
- 6:44Speaker 2: you want them.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Back or no, they're donated. I think I said something
- 6:47Speaker 3: and they can have them. Like I've got a couple
- 6:49Speaker 3: of dresses, but like everyone's past the point of being
- 6:53Speaker 3: all that interested in them. I've got a couple framed here,
- 6:56Speaker 3: as you know, so they're still some at home. I'm
- 6:59Speaker 3: really comfortab thought like otherwise they just sit in my wardrobe.
- 7:02Speaker 3: So yeah, I'd rather than be places where they can
- 7:05Speaker 3: be bought out on occasion and displayed.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah, fair enough, it is.
- 7:11Speaker 1: But while we're not exciting things, you've also been nominated
- 7:14Speaker 1: for a big award with the Female Actually Project for
- 7:16Speaker 1: Commentator of the Year and just fantastic and Dribblers, we
- 7:20Speaker 1: have until Friday to vote for Catherine on this one,
- 7:23Speaker 1: so please have a look at the Facebook page where
- 7:25Speaker 1: I've got the link up, and I will be posting
- 7:27Speaker 1: the link multiple times between now and Friday. Please vote.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Some dribblers have indicated that you might actually be able
- 7:35Speaker 1: to vote more than once, and obviously we don't advocate
- 7:39Speaker 1: doing anything to shake the governance of a good election process, but.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Yeah, we do go and vote, check it out early,
- 7:48Speaker 2: vote often.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Absolutely, Catherine, that's so exciting. You know what I love.
- 7:53Speaker 3: I love that you've been nominated for this. It's like
- 7:56Speaker 3: Sports Communicator of the Year or Sports Commentator of the Year.
- 8:00Speaker 3: When the very first time commentary was suggested to you,
- 8:04Speaker 3: you were like, nah, I can't do that, and then
- 8:07Speaker 3: you started to do it. And then the very first
- 8:10Speaker 3: time that Kearly Devri suggested that you might be able
- 8:13Speaker 3: to actually host, and hosting is if you could write,
- 8:15Speaker 3: because you're responsible for driving the bus. And when I
- 8:18Speaker 3: used to host and I used to have another netball
- 8:21Speaker 3: and on Sports Sunday and on the project when the
- 8:24Speaker 3: floor manager points to you to talk, I always have
- 8:26Speaker 3: that little half second in my head going, this whole
- 8:30Speaker 3: network is relying on me to make a sentence right now,
- 8:33Speaker 3: and so it's almost like I used to freak myself out.
- 8:37Speaker 3: And the more you do it, the better you get.
- 8:39Speaker 3: But Catherine knew, are so good at this stuff now
- 8:41Speaker 3: and when asked you to do it, you were like, nah,
- 8:44Speaker 3: I can't do it. And look at you now, you're
- 8:46Speaker 3: getting nominated for awards. Take a moment to think about
- 8:50Speaker 3: how far you've come. You're amazing.
- 8:52Speaker 2: No, And you know what's funny. I caught up for
- 8:54Speaker 2: a drink with their wellbeing officer that was with the
- 8:58Speaker 2: West Coast Favor when I was over there, and you
- 9:00Speaker 2: she's amazing. And she was spent some time with the
- 9:02Speaker 2: Australian Diamonds as well. Anyway, we had to drink last
- 9:05Speaker 2: week and she said the same thing, because she's really
- 9:08Speaker 2: good at having those early conversations before you finish your
- 9:12Speaker 2: career about what you want to do afterwards, so you're
- 9:14Speaker 2: not left the day it happens going oh shit. Anyway,
- 9:17Speaker 2: so she would often meet with me and would have
- 9:20Speaker 2: these conversations about where we wanted to go. And she
- 9:23Speaker 2: always had media at the top of her page in
- 9:25Speaker 2: big circles, and I would always say nuh and she'd go,
- 9:29Speaker 2: I think you need to seriously think about it. And
- 9:31Speaker 2: that's the first thing she said the other night as well.
- 9:33Speaker 1: She's like, do you remember, like I do?
- 9:35Speaker 2: Shut up, Yes I do. And I'm so thankful for
- 9:37Speaker 2: everybody that pushed me because it was bloody uncomfortable at
- 9:41Speaker 2: the time. But I suppose all the good things are,
- 9:42Speaker 2: aren't they.
- 9:44Speaker 1: When I used to work as a sponsorship manager for
- 9:46Speaker 1: the Brumbis, the rugby team down in Canberra, and it
- 9:49Speaker 1: was amazing for me the number of these young men
- 9:52Speaker 1: who were resistant to doing things with sponsors. And it's like, look,
- 9:56Speaker 1: you've got a big job, you're training, you've got to
- 9:58Speaker 1: stay at the peak of your game or whatever. But
- 10:00Speaker 1: actually the opportunity for these young players at that time
- 10:06Speaker 1: to be making networks, to be impressing people, to be
- 10:09Speaker 1: talking to people about what sort of different career paths
- 10:11Speaker 1: might be on off. I mean, let's be serious, if
- 10:14Speaker 1: even if everyone playing now is awesome media talent there's
- 10:18Speaker 1: not that many commentary jobs, so you've got to be
- 10:21Speaker 1: you know, I just if we do have any players listening,
- 10:24Speaker 1: I highly recommend grabbing all of these opportunities. I know
- 10:27Speaker 1: they seem like a hassle at the time, but they
- 10:29Speaker 1: are just invaluable and you never know, you know, when
- 10:32Speaker 1: are you going to be injured or is your career
- 10:34Speaker 1: not everyone can be a Lizzelle saor caath Coock.
- 10:37Speaker 2: They were both lucky in that regard. Whose when we finished.
- 10:40Speaker 1: But I do have a question that's come to us
- 10:43Speaker 1: from drib Blood Julie Homer, who was a good friend
- 10:45Speaker 1: of the pod, who tried to give you a scrutchy
- 10:48Speaker 1: at our Sydney event, and she was asking she was
- 10:53Speaker 1: asking about commentary, and I think now is a good
- 10:56Speaker 1: time to raise this question. How much of it is
- 10:58Speaker 1: scripted versus you just winging it? And how do you
- 11:02Speaker 1: not talk over one another?
- 11:03Speaker 2: For instance?
- 11:04Speaker 1: So could you just give us a little bit of.
- 11:06Speaker 2: A look, we would get a run down from our
- 11:09Speaker 2: producers that basically have all the points that we want
- 11:11Speaker 2: to get to we want to talk about. The only
- 11:14Speaker 2: bit that I would script would be the opening bit.
- 11:17Speaker 2: That's the bit of pilava, setting the scene, whatever else,
- 11:20Speaker 2: and then you literally just have whatever the next thing
- 11:23Speaker 2: is that you want to talk about down and so
- 11:25Speaker 2: I would just think about how I wanted to ask
- 11:27Speaker 2: that question. Everybody would know what that topics are, so
- 11:31Speaker 2: they'd have to think about what they wanted to say,
- 11:33Speaker 2: but nothing scripted as such. And of course, on the fly,
- 11:36Speaker 2: if things are running late or running early, you might
- 11:39Speaker 2: have to pad, which means you've got to think of
- 11:42Speaker 2: another before we two countries exactly, or you might be told,
- 11:47Speaker 2: you know, move on, You've got to get to the
- 11:48Speaker 2: next bit. So it's once you get started, it's pretty loose,
- 11:51Speaker 2: but there's definitely a pattern.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Yes, and so I've just put my hand up so
- 11:56Speaker 3: Catherine knows that I want to jump in, and that's
- 11:58Speaker 3: often what you do in commentary. You put your hand
- 11:59Speaker 3: up in the other person is going to stop and
- 12:01Speaker 3: take a breath and let you go. But the other
- 12:03Speaker 3: thing that's worth noting too is that you know before
- 12:06Speaker 3: you go on, particularly in the pre show, and then
- 12:09Speaker 3: when you look at the halftime highlights and the postgame,
- 12:12Speaker 3: but most important in the pre show, what pieces of
- 12:14Speaker 3: vision you have to get to, so you know you
- 12:16Speaker 3: have to lead into that vision so that the vision
- 12:18Speaker 3: what people are seeing matches what they're hearing. And even
- 12:21Speaker 3: though that sounds really simple, so it's actually a hard
- 12:23Speaker 3: thing to master, particularly when you're calling the game, because
- 12:29Speaker 3: you're watching something that's really interesting happening on court, but
- 12:32Speaker 3: it's not always what's on the screen, so you have
- 12:34Speaker 3: to make sure you're matching up both.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and certainly their hosting stuff is very different to
- 12:39Speaker 2: the commentary. Once you're in commentary that's completely offscripts obviously,
- 12:42Speaker 2: just reacting to whatever's happening in the game and try
- 12:45Speaker 2: not to talk over the top of each other. It
- 12:47Speaker 2: can be hard when something exciting happens because you both
- 12:49Speaker 2: oh my god, you know, but then Gordy will be like,
- 12:52Speaker 2: you know, she'll point to you and go keep going,
- 12:54Speaker 2: keep going, give you the finger to wind up or
- 12:56Speaker 2: you know, stop, you know, you'll give it the stop one.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Stop talking because she's been told something. So the hand
- 13:02Speaker 2: signals are big, but you just don't want to be
- 13:05Speaker 2: caught on camera doing them.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Do it how the nut And you also know that
- 13:11Speaker 3: like the person who's doing the ball by ball commentary,
- 13:13Speaker 3: their job is to drive the bus in commentary, right,
- 13:17Speaker 3: So they they're the ones who the producer says, go
- 13:19Speaker 3: to a break, or will throw to highlights package or
- 13:22Speaker 3: do it throw to a replay. So if your job
- 13:26Speaker 3: is to do color commentary, so you explain the why
- 13:30Speaker 3: and the ball by ball person explains what, then you
- 13:32Speaker 3: have to you just have to shut up and follow
- 13:35Speaker 3: the ball by ball person. So it's quite a clit.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Light on for cans of gin at the game? Is
- 13:40Speaker 1: that a very light on?
- 13:42Speaker 2: Until literally they say, okay, you can wrap right, new beauty,
- 13:46Speaker 2: see you later. Everybody, that's been fun.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Well, thank you, and thanks Julie Homer for that awesome
- 13:52Speaker 1: question that we got through the Facebook page. Look, I
- 14:09Speaker 1: don't know I've been delaying talking about what's happened, but
- 14:13Speaker 1: we can delay it longer if you want another story.
- 14:16Speaker 1: All right, let's have another story. We're not going to
- 14:18Speaker 1: forget to talk about the fact that we saw the
- 14:20Speaker 1: Diamonds have a great win and then the Ferns have
- 14:22Speaker 1: a great win.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Now, if we don't talk about it, there's a minute
- 14:25Speaker 2: ever happened? I mean, do you know what? Having said that,
- 14:28Speaker 2: so pumped at her, so exciting, so exciting, because now
- 14:32Speaker 2: there's a real opportunity that we could have this series
- 14:34Speaker 2: decider extra time business.
- 14:36Speaker 1: No, I don't want that, Yes we did want that,
- 14:38Speaker 1: surely can win that. But yeah, yeah, okay, let's.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Let them win that part. I'd have good would it
- 14:43Speaker 2: be if we got to that?
- 14:44Speaker 1: It would be good if they remembered that? Yeah? That good?
- 14:48Speaker 2: So I mean the fact that New Zealand's won nine
- 14:51Speaker 2: consecutive games in New Zealand, it's a mental yeah. And
- 14:54Speaker 2: off the back of all of the crap they've been
- 14:56Speaker 2: through and two massive losses, there's a twenty six goal
- 15:00Speaker 2: turn around.
- 15:01Speaker 3: It is I thought we're talking about this later.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I know, but I'm just sorry now the
- 15:05Speaker 2: little in it on the side. I just can't even
- 15:07Speaker 2: get my head around. It is massive.
- 15:09Speaker 1: How it happened crazy, very exciting. So are we talking
- 15:13Speaker 1: about it now? Are we're talking about it later?
- 15:15Speaker 2: Like we are? Even as the saying leads to Carolyn
- 15:18Speaker 2: that our producers got in touch with this morning, said,
- 15:20Speaker 2: descend through some talking points of what you want to
- 15:22Speaker 2: have a look at before the game on Wednesday. I
- 15:24Speaker 2: don't even know when to start.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Can I give you a couple who were dead right
- 15:29Speaker 1: about Georgia Heffernan. I absolutely you know, she she made
- 15:33Speaker 1: a huge difference, and let's talk about Karen Berger. My god, yes,
- 15:37Speaker 1: my god, I'm amazing.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that was of the world on our shoulders as well.
- 15:44Speaker 2: And then Grace, Grace was smiling. She looked like she
- 15:47Speaker 2: was enjoying it. Some of those changes from the head
- 15:52Speaker 2: coach were absolute head scratches. When you're up by nine
- 15:56Speaker 2: in the third quarter, why do you change the whole defense?
- 16:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. That was odd, wasn't it. And
- 16:01Speaker 1: then so what do you reckon? They said to Grace.
- 16:03Speaker 1: So Grace went off for like ninety seconds in the
- 16:06Speaker 1: fourth quarter, did you Yeah.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Yeah, she went off very recently, and she was talking
- 16:11Speaker 3: to the head coach. It's actually not a bad job,
- 16:14Speaker 3: Like if you're not a bad idea, if you think
- 16:16Speaker 3: that you play, just needs a little bit of direction
- 16:18Speaker 3: here or there. Pull her off, give the goalkeeper something
- 16:21Speaker 3: different to think about, and get her back on again.
- 16:24Speaker 3: So it's probably something that that game doesn't do enough of, actually,
- 16:27Speaker 3: because we're also used to sort of titley internationally getting
- 16:30Speaker 3: out there and playing. But I got to say it's
- 16:33Speaker 3: really jarring when you watch international matches and the umpire
- 16:38Speaker 3: blazer whistle for a tactical time out because in super
- 16:41Speaker 3: netball it just happens.
- 16:42Speaker 1: There's just sums.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Yeah, so you sort of have to go, oh yeah,
- 16:46Speaker 3: that's right, different rules. So that was and it just
- 16:49Speaker 3: happened a lot yesterday, particularly in that last quarter as
- 16:51Speaker 3: they both emptied their benches. But do that last lineup
- 16:54Speaker 3: from New Zealand was so young it's like, oh.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Wow, yeah, crazy. But the first school line I think
- 17:00Speaker 2: in the last eight games it's been under double digits
- 17:05Speaker 2: between the two sides. How crazy is that too? When
- 17:07Speaker 2: you think about all those years that we played it
- 17:10Speaker 2: was one or two goals and more than like it
- 17:12Speaker 2: went into extra tide for whatever reason, there's just been
- 17:15Speaker 2: this massive open up of score.
- 17:17Speaker 3: But it's gone both ways, both ways. It's remarkable, isn't it.
- 17:21Speaker 3: And last year the win that Diamonds got was the
- 17:25Speaker 3: last game and that was in Melbourne, so like you
- 17:29Speaker 3: can't say that it just depends on where they're playing
- 17:32Speaker 3: because last year the Silver Fans were just so dominant.
- 17:34Speaker 3: But I mean this year was just really interesting. So
- 17:37Speaker 3: the Australians plane got diverted. They was supposed to go
- 17:41Speaker 3: to Hamilton the day after the game. In Sydney on
- 17:45Speaker 3: Thursday and because of the wind and the weather, they
- 17:48Speaker 3: ended up in christ Church and I did wonder whether
- 17:51Speaker 3: like how much of an effect that had or whether
- 17:53Speaker 3: actually didn't make any difference at all. And you know,
- 17:56Speaker 3: it was just a much different New Zealand team. But
- 17:59Speaker 3: the Silver fans, what they were absolutely happen about did refers.
- 18:02Speaker 1: They get diverted for weather. No, no interesting and the likes.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Of a normal plumber would have been all that she
- 18:10Speaker 2: would have thought that their New Zealand was evolved and
- 18:13Speaker 2: it was a conspiracy love so fun.
- 18:17Speaker 1: They just looked, Yeah, they really looked like they wanted that,
- 18:22Speaker 1: didn't they It was just so great.
- 18:24Speaker 2: But they beat Australia at their own game, which is
- 18:26Speaker 2: so crazy. The umpire I thought was good, and that
- 18:30Speaker 2: there wasn't a whole heap of it aside from all
- 18:32Speaker 2: the changes where you talked about towards the end, but
- 18:35Speaker 2: there was. It felt like not a whole lot of
- 18:38Speaker 2: whistle blown and it was quite physical and it was
- 18:41Speaker 2: New Zealand giving it to Australia. And then the speed
- 18:44Speaker 2: that they were playing with as well was kind of crazy.
- 18:47Speaker 2: So I don't know, I don't know what the answer
- 18:50Speaker 2: is for Australia. I mean, they had to clear the
- 18:51Speaker 2: bench and not in a good way and they were
- 18:53Speaker 2: just trying to find answers. So do they change their
- 18:56Speaker 2: starting seven? Do they go back to their starting seven
- 18:59Speaker 2: after they've done a solid review and they work out
- 19:01Speaker 2: exactly the parts that let themselves down. I think they
- 19:04Speaker 2: will do that, But I think they'll also be confident
- 19:07Speaker 2: enough now to bring players on if they have to,
- 19:09Speaker 2: because I don't think we really were any worse off
- 19:12Speaker 2: with the changes that came on. It's good to see
- 19:14Speaker 2: Sophie Dwyer out there a lot. She was pretty good
- 19:17Speaker 2: and Georgie Whore just playing with her. That was a
- 19:20Speaker 2: really young attacking lineup that would have had very little
- 19:24Speaker 2: time together, if any, So you know that's good. And
- 19:27Speaker 2: again it was just the tale of the other two games,
- 19:29Speaker 2: but in reverse, and that it was one big blowout
- 19:32Speaker 2: quarter that Australia went down by. I think it was
- 19:35Speaker 2: twenty eleven in the third quarter, so it always seems
- 19:38Speaker 2: to happen in the second half, but it was us
- 19:39Speaker 2: on the wrong end of it this time.
- 19:41Speaker 1: The two o'clock Sunday afternoon game I thought was quite civilized. Yeah,
- 19:45Speaker 1: it was nice, nice to watch.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Well, that is a good thing about the time changes.
- 19:48Speaker 2: It's going to be a five o'clock start till on Wednesday.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, yes, that is true. Now I had it
- 19:54Speaker 1: was interesting because I think there was also a game
- 19:56Speaker 1: in Sydney that we've sort of glossed over, but it
- 19:59Speaker 1: was interesting to watch. During the national anthem, the New
- 20:02Speaker 1: Zealand team or the whole twelve had their patches on
- 20:06Speaker 1: and the Australian team only the seven, the starting seven
- 20:08Speaker 1: had their patches on and the other the other five didn't.
- 20:11Speaker 1: New Zealand never has anyone else put the goal shooter
- 20:15Speaker 1: BIB on and it's just it's still it's so much
- 20:19Speaker 1: pressure on Grace And I know they put someone in
- 20:21Speaker 1: there for ninety seconds yesterday while she went off court,
- 20:24Speaker 1: but I don't know what their plan B is.
- 20:27Speaker 2: No, but and that would have been Sydney would have
- 20:29Speaker 2: been different because they dropped WARMSLEYEP which was odd at
- 20:33Speaker 2: the time, and they took a mid quarter who did
- 20:36Speaker 2: they pick up Anyway, it was an unusual swap, but
- 20:39Speaker 2: Warmsley was back in on the weekends. I wonder on
- 20:42Speaker 2: the weekend if she had the goal shoot a BIB
- 20:44Speaker 2: on when they were doing the anthems. That's actually interesting.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Keep an eye on that because she was the one
- 20:48Speaker 2: that subbed in for it in assuming.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't. I couldn't pause it to see that,
- 20:54Speaker 1: but I did note all twelve Australian players had their
- 20:56Speaker 1: bibs on Yesterday, whereas they didn't on Wednesday, which I
- 21:00Speaker 1: was interesting, like why why telegraph what you're going to do?
- 21:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but even taking three shooters puts pressure on the
- 21:06Speaker 2: other ones, yeah, to perform, because what happens if you
- 21:09Speaker 2: don't or if you can't make any changes if they're
- 21:11Speaker 2: actually not in the twelve. So I think it was
- 21:14Speaker 2: smart that they went back to having another one in there,
- 21:16Speaker 2: certainly for Game three, not that they needed them because
- 21:19Speaker 2: you know, Grace was unbelievable anyway, So the day this
- 21:22Speaker 2: goes to where will be the fourth and final test
- 21:25Speaker 2: in the Constellation Cup?
- 21:26Speaker 1: And yeah, I don't want the overtime thing. I know
- 21:31Speaker 1: that you are. You're a purist, you love that. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:34Speaker 1: maybe you're more of a Kiwi at heart than you know.
- 21:36Speaker 2: It's just if I was still a player, God, I
- 21:38Speaker 2: wouldn't want that at all. But commentary, you can want to.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Make it interesting, will very last do you get paid
- 21:44Speaker 1: per word?
- 21:46Speaker 3: You should a minute. Look, it will be a fascinating,
- 21:50Speaker 3: fascinating game on Wednesday to see if the silver Ferns
- 21:54Speaker 3: can really carry that.
- 21:55Speaker 1: You for it.
- 21:56Speaker 3: I just felt like that would just have this for
- 21:58Speaker 3: being at home. The coaching situation seems to have been resolved.
- 22:03Speaker 3: You know, it's like the way the world was off
- 22:04Speaker 3: their shoulders. Does that carry into the next game? And
- 22:07Speaker 3: then how do the diamonds bounce back? And I think
- 22:09Speaker 3: you're right, Catherine, I think it there's no need for
- 22:11Speaker 3: wholesale changes to do anything really big or bad. Just
- 22:16Speaker 3: do your review. They'll be professional about it. Go back
- 22:19Speaker 3: to what won with the first two games.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Interesting you talk about the coaching saga coming to an end.
- 22:24Speaker 2: One day because kat tu of Arti was doing commentary
- 22:26Speaker 2: with us, and she said, from the get go, New
- 22:28Speaker 2: Zealand will win. They've got some closure around this, they
- 22:32Speaker 2: will know they've got some direction coming, they'll feel so
- 22:36Speaker 2: much better about it, and they will win this game. Wow,
- 22:39Speaker 2: and true to form, they did yea. And I like
- 22:41Speaker 2: to honestly think that's the single thing that lifted them
- 22:45Speaker 2: to that sort of thing. She said, well, why would
- 22:47Speaker 2: it like you put yourself in that position? She said, Firstly,
- 22:50Speaker 2: they love going home. They love being at home with
- 22:53Speaker 2: their fans of course, and with their family, and just
- 22:55Speaker 2: you know, particularly when times are tough, you just you
- 22:57Speaker 2: feel like you're somewhere that's comfortable. But she said, if
- 23:02Speaker 2: you're a player in that side, with absolute uncertainty around
- 23:06Speaker 2: what that team looks like and who's leading, and then
- 23:08Speaker 2: the dramas and then of course the outside noise surrounding that,
- 23:12Speaker 2: and that's finally put to bed, you do breathe the
- 23:14Speaker 2: sigh of relief. I thought, well, that's fascinating. So the
- 23:17Speaker 2: challenge in for them, You're right, Liz, is that they're
- 23:19Speaker 2: not going to get news like that again before the
- 23:22Speaker 2: next game. But being able to keep it going then
- 23:25Speaker 2: everyone would have been pumping their ties.
- 23:27Speaker 1: So is it resolved? I thought there was still some
- 23:30Speaker 1: question about whether this is just a kind of sort of.
- 23:35Speaker 2: This in terms of she has been reinstated. It says
- 23:39Speaker 2: effective immediately in the press release, but it's not because
- 23:41Speaker 2: she's not coming back to next year. Yeah, she's going
- 23:43Speaker 2: to let them do the rest of this series and
- 23:46Speaker 2: the Northern tour, so they're going to England to play
- 23:48Speaker 2: England in another series, which is a lot for them,
- 23:51Speaker 2: and they've done South Africa, Australia and England or in
- 23:54Speaker 2: the space of a couple of months. So she'll pick them
- 23:56Speaker 2: up next year. But you'd have to ask some questions
- 23:59Speaker 2: I think around there's got to be some flow on,
- 24:02Speaker 2: I think because this person release also stated that nothing
- 24:06Speaker 2: was found in terms of Nolane's behavior. Yeah, and you
- 24:11Speaker 2: know she's her reputation has taken a massive hit.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yeah, but you've also got seven employees, five to seven
- 24:18Speaker 1: players who've registered their complaint. So I don't know what
- 24:21Speaker 1: of a do now. It's not like, you know, you're
- 24:24Speaker 1: working for Coke, Can you make a complain about your
- 24:27Speaker 1: employer And it's like, well that was not resolved to
- 24:29Speaker 1: my satisfaction, I'll go and work for PEPSI. It's like
- 24:31Speaker 1: you got Yeah, it's just interesting.
- 24:34Speaker 2: So I don't think it'll be finished in terms of
- 24:36Speaker 2: that stuff. But in terms of her having a job back,
- 24:39Speaker 2: that looks to be done. Yes, she will have a
- 24:41Speaker 2: back from twenty twenty six. Wow wow wow wow wow wow.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Very exciting. Anyway, that's all with one more game over
- 24:51Speaker 1: the dish. I do have to say before we move off.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Sorry you go.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Well we did some week the Dribblers were doing some
- 24:57Speaker 1: Pokemon hunting at the game on Wednesday Night challenge. It
- 25:02Speaker 1: was fun. So last week for those of you who
- 25:05Speaker 1: were listening and who were at the game, we did
- 25:07Speaker 1: challenge you to try to get the three of us
- 25:09Speaker 1: in no Dribble hosts in a single photo. We did
- 25:12Speaker 1: have a few people to Bob Jarvis tried to grab
- 25:16Speaker 1: me and take me around to the other side of
- 25:18Speaker 1: the stadium where she could see you, Liz and you Cad,
- 25:21Speaker 1: and I refuse to do that because I felt that
- 25:24Speaker 1: that wasn't really in the spirit of it if I moved.
- 25:26Speaker 1: But I did reveal my whereabouts quite early on, and
- 25:29Speaker 1: we did have We did have three people who got it,
- 25:31Speaker 1: and arguably I think Barb did get it with me
- 25:34Speaker 1: on the very far side. So Rayleigh Noble, Beck Williams
- 25:37Speaker 1: and Daryl Milton did manage to complete the challenge. My
- 25:39Speaker 1: daughter also did, but she's disqualified on the grounds of
- 25:43Speaker 1: being my daughter, and I had to lean forward to
- 25:46Speaker 1: get in the camera for her. And it's like, well,
- 25:48Speaker 1: if I wouldn't move for Barb, I can't move for you.
- 25:50Speaker 1: So but there was one thing at halftime. You guys
- 25:54Speaker 1: might not have seen this because you're busy doing other jobs,
- 25:57Speaker 1: but they had, you know, the halftime entertainment. They get people,
- 26:00Speaker 1: I get kids in do this shooting challenge. And there
- 26:04Speaker 1: was one young woman I think she must have been
- 26:06Speaker 1: in about her twenties, and it came down to her
- 26:09Speaker 1: and this girl who must have been about nine or ten.
- 26:12Speaker 1: And the little girl had scored two goals and this
- 26:16Speaker 1: older woman, when I say older woman, older girl, this
- 26:19Speaker 1: young woman, she looked like a shooter to me. She
- 26:21Speaker 1: could clearly have landed this, but she just chucked a
- 26:24Speaker 1: shot away and let the kid have it. And it
- 26:26Speaker 1: was just it was a really nice moment. I wish
- 26:27Speaker 1: I'd got her name, but it was like, it's so
- 26:30Speaker 1: and you know, when you're out there with ten thousand
- 26:32Speaker 1: people watching you, you don't always in the moment think, oh,
- 26:35Speaker 1: I wish I wish I'd remembered not to worry too
- 26:38Speaker 1: much about taking the shot and showering everyone that I
- 26:41Speaker 1: can do it. But I just thought it was a
- 26:42Speaker 1: really cool thing to do to just let the kid
- 26:45Speaker 1: have it when she absolutely could have taken that shot.
- 26:48Speaker 1: So good job, whoever you are. Anonymous legend of the game.
- 26:53Speaker 1: We salute you well. She was great.
- 26:55Speaker 3: I didn't think to myself at the time. I would
- 26:57Speaker 3: never I would have liked to have thought that I
- 26:59Speaker 3: would do that. But I am so competitive, too competitive.
- 27:03Speaker 3: We were taking the kid out. Do you do you
- 27:06Speaker 3: beat your kids at stuff?
- 27:07Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 27:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd like to beat Harper at memory? Every time
- 27:12Speaker 2: I get smashed at memory. Are you any good at memory? Yeah? No,
- 27:16Speaker 2: put the cards in you gotta find them. Yeah. Are
- 27:18Speaker 2: you good at that?
- 27:18Speaker 1: I'm good at that? I'm no great. And we had it.
- 27:20Speaker 1: We've had a challenge up at where my dad lives
- 27:23Speaker 1: in Brisbane and the complex has a decent as a
- 27:25Speaker 1: long pool, and I've had a challenge with the kids
- 27:28Speaker 1: for years that it's like, when you can beat me
- 27:30Speaker 1: up and back in freestyle, you'll get our one hundred bucks.
- 27:32Speaker 1: And Lewis Scott that sort of about about eighteen months ago,
- 27:36Speaker 1: so when he hit fifteen. So but every time I'll
- 27:38Speaker 1: do it, it's I go hard. I'm going I'm I'm
- 27:41Speaker 1: not giving.
- 27:41Speaker 2: This to you.
- 27:42Speaker 1: You are you are taking this from me? Yeah?
- 27:45Speaker 2: You know. The worst is is Rebecca Bully. So Beck
- 27:48Speaker 2: Bully played with the Swifts Queens of Bibird's ex coach
- 27:51Speaker 2: obviously played with the Diamonds. We used to do coaching
- 27:54Speaker 2: like rural areas, yea, go and do little road shows
- 27:57Speaker 2: and do some coaching. Every time she had to demon
- 28:00Speaker 2: straight a drill, she would take a kid out. I
- 28:05Speaker 2: kid you not. She is the most competitive human I've
- 28:08Speaker 2: ever met in my life, and she would not care.
- 28:11Speaker 2: She just had to win. Even demonstrating it. I had
- 28:13Speaker 2: to keep reminding her, it's just a devastration half down.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Oh, that's so funny. I was devastated when Evelyn beat
- 28:22Speaker 3: me over one hundred meters and Austin keeps asking for
- 28:25Speaker 3: a race, and I'm sort of trying to avoid it
- 28:27Speaker 3: because it's horrible to admit that you're not the fastest
- 28:30Speaker 3: in your family anymore.
- 28:31Speaker 2: When did that happen?
- 28:32Speaker 3: And happened when we're traveling around Australia. We're actually up
- 28:35Speaker 3: at Kratha and we found this beautiful park and there
- 28:38Speaker 3: was athletic sort of track marked and she challenged me
- 28:42Speaker 3: and she beat me, and I said we'll do it again,
- 28:44Speaker 3: and she beat me again, and then I asked for
- 28:46Speaker 3: a rematch about three months later, and she beat me again.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I thought oh that's.
- 28:49Speaker 3: It so so and the only thing I have left
- 28:52Speaker 3: is scrabble because they now beat me comprehensively at rummycarb
- 28:55Speaker 3: and at Yuka, but at Scrabble I am still the
- 28:58Speaker 3: undefeated champion. But no one else to play it. An
- 29:00Speaker 3: everything can't spell, so she hates it.
- 29:02Speaker 1: So yeah, it's just that when they go to Greece's
- 29:05Speaker 1: that's why I look at the list gigs offering to play.
- 29:07Speaker 3: It's the only thing I'll playing with them.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Oh my god. Now let me tell you a story.
- 29:12Speaker 2: And I want to know if this has happened to you.
- 29:15Speaker 2: So I was invited to go and see Rent on
- 29:18Speaker 2: Friday night. Have you seen Rent? Yeah? What are your
- 29:21Speaker 2: thoughts on it?
- 29:22Speaker 1: I like Jack, I'm I thinking of what am I
- 29:24Speaker 1: thinking of? In the heights?
- 29:26Speaker 2: I don't know, rents it in New York homelessners. Yeah yeah,
- 29:30Speaker 2: yeah yeah yeah. Anyway, it started well. When it took
- 29:34Speaker 2: a bit of return, it was a bit odd, but
- 29:35Speaker 2: I was enjoying it anyway. I had On Wednesday, I
- 29:39Speaker 2: started to get a bit of a croaky throat, like
- 29:42Speaker 2: after we're doing the podcast, we're talking about that last week.
- 29:44Speaker 2: We both started to feel a bit under the weather,
- 29:46Speaker 2: and then I had this you know when you just
- 29:48Speaker 2: get those annoying tickles in your throat and you get
- 29:50Speaker 2: that cough that won't Yes, I've got it in the
- 29:53Speaker 2: middle of the first or intermission, and I was trying
- 30:00Speaker 2: to keep the coughs in until they started to sing
- 30:03Speaker 2: really loud or something, and then I'd just let one
- 30:04Speaker 2: out in my jacket. But there was a point there
- 30:07Speaker 2: I was about to combust and I was just trying
- 30:09Speaker 2: to keep it in in cough and coff and cough,
- 30:11Speaker 2: and I thought we finally get to intermission, and I
- 30:14Speaker 2: were in the middle seats, so I couldn't even get
- 30:16Speaker 2: up and leave and have a coughing fit and come back.
- 30:19Speaker 2: And we got to intermission, I was like, I cannot
- 30:21Speaker 2: do that again. I can't sit through the second half
- 30:24Speaker 2: of this if I'm going to try to keep it in,
- 30:28Speaker 2: if it I'll blow up. But also all these people
- 30:30Speaker 2: around me. I felt so bad, so I had to
- 30:32Speaker 2: go home. Oh yes, because we were in middle seats,
- 30:35Speaker 2: Like I could not go back and sit in there
- 30:38Speaker 2: because I was trapped once it started. Don't want to
- 30:40Speaker 2: be that person going in and out, and I was
- 30:42Speaker 2: just thought, I'm just going to have to miss the
- 30:43Speaker 2: second half?
- 30:44Speaker 3: Did you some butter Menthols wouldn't I had? I was
- 30:47Speaker 3: prepared because I knew I had this annoying. I had
- 30:50Speaker 3: strip sels in my bag. I'd been through two of them.
- 30:52Speaker 2: When I had had nothing changed. I thought, I just
- 30:55Speaker 2: have to go home. This is so depressing, so I
- 30:58Speaker 2: left it intermission. I don't know what happened in second half,
- 31:01Speaker 2: but for those that were sitting around me, you're welcome.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Is Red the one where they look at the AIDS crisis?
- 31:06Speaker 3: Is it that?
- 31:07Speaker 2: Well, if it happened to the second ACTA, you wouldn't know.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Is it the one where they've got that Moment's in
- 31:12Speaker 1: a year? I can't remember how many seconds there are
- 31:16Speaker 1: in a year. I'm deeply ashamed. Five hundred and twenty
- 31:19Speaker 1: five six hundred minutes in five hundred twenty five thousand,
- 31:23Speaker 1: six hundred minutes.
- 31:26Speaker 2: No, I don't know.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Moments in a year.
- 31:28Speaker 2: No, but you could maybe join them.
- 31:31Speaker 1: You know that this like my that I if I
- 31:34Speaker 1: had my time over again, it would be musical theater.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Oh god, oh well, I pretty much love any musical theater,
- 31:43Speaker 1: but I just would would love to have been a
- 31:45Speaker 1: musical theater performer. You're not dead yet, not dead yet, No,
- 31:49Speaker 1: that's true. But when you go along and you see
- 31:51Speaker 1: the level of.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Talent and they break into song. Oh the voices. But
- 31:57Speaker 2: anyway prompted me to ask you to Has anything ever
- 32:01Speaker 2: happened to you like that? At just a really bad time?
- 32:05Speaker 1: Wow?
- 32:05Speaker 2: God of all the times? Did you know what? Anytime
- 32:08Speaker 2: I've got a delivery coming, always when I'm on the
- 32:10Speaker 2: toilet without fail nor bell rings. It's normally number two,
- 32:15Speaker 2: so it's not like you can quickly get it.
- 32:16Speaker 1: And then you get that card. We tried to deliver this,
- 32:19Speaker 1: and you've got the damn post office five twenty.
- 32:23Speaker 4: Five hundred, twenty five thousand, five hundreds.
- 32:34Speaker 1: So I have a story. I don't know whether this
- 32:36Speaker 1: one's going to make it to air or not, but
- 32:41Speaker 1: I'll tell the story and then we can decide whether
- 32:44Speaker 1: it's appropriate. Some years ago I had so when I
- 32:46Speaker 1: was in my twenties, I had an irregular papsmere and
- 32:49Speaker 1: I had to have a colposcopy, which is like a
- 32:52Speaker 1: like a biopsy on your cervix. Everything was fine, but
- 32:55Speaker 1: when I went along to have it, I didn't I
- 32:59Speaker 1: was wearing underpants. It was a sort of a and
- 33:03Speaker 1: then afterwards there was a little bit of bleeding and
- 33:05Speaker 1: they gave me a pad and I saw on it
- 33:07Speaker 1: was I've got nowhere to anchor this thing. But fortunately
- 33:11Speaker 1: I was wearing some cargo pants that had a kind
- 33:14Speaker 1: of tie up thing at the bottom of the legs,
- 33:18Speaker 1: so I just had to kind of walk diagonally as
- 33:21Speaker 1: much as I could, crossing the legs over like a
- 33:23Speaker 1: model from the nineteen fifties to get to my car.
- 33:26Speaker 1: And then this thing fell down and was just caught
- 33:28Speaker 1: up with the thing at the bottom of all my pants.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Stuck it to you in a thigh and I could
- 33:35Speaker 1: feel it moving down the leg and it just but
- 33:38Speaker 1: it just got caught at the bottom of the pants. Saying, George,
- 33:41Speaker 1: you had those pets. I know, I know, saved by
- 33:45Speaker 1: the cargo pants. So honest, let's do a vote. Does
- 33:48Speaker 1: this go to air or is that a story just
- 33:51Speaker 1: for the three of us?
- 33:52Speaker 3: Nony, she absolutely goes to air. I'm willing for them
- 33:57Speaker 3: to go to air.
- 33:58Speaker 1: You know, kids, where you're underpants when you go to
- 34:01Speaker 1: the gynecologist.
- 34:02Speaker 2: I think, just where you're underpants full stop. It'd be
- 34:05Speaker 2: a good life.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Well, well, don't be so judging Catherine, but yes, and
- 34:11Speaker 1: in retrospect, I'm not really sure what I was thinking. No, no, do.
- 34:15Speaker 2: You have to get around?
- 34:17Speaker 1: I don't often get around with no unders on. And
- 34:19Speaker 1: I've even moved past the G string. Remember when Gordy
- 34:22Speaker 1: and our at our event in Melbourne tried to give
- 34:24Speaker 1: away some of those lovely hair products from Cruel of
- 34:26Speaker 1: Beauty and just said, if you're wearing a G string,
- 34:29Speaker 1: come up here now. And I thought, surely, surely we've
- 34:32Speaker 1: all realized that the G string is just an elaborate
- 34:35Speaker 1: form of torture. Third of the room came up. I mean,
- 34:39Speaker 1: we didn't ask them to prove it. She did, did she?
- 34:42Speaker 2: You? I think I had to be a bit of
- 34:44Speaker 2: Kath and Kim over the top of the pants. Yeah,
- 34:49Speaker 2: the whale saw someone's I.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Used to plan in a G string, but the thought
- 34:53Speaker 3: of wearing one now, after going through a childbirth a
- 34:56Speaker 3: couple of times.
- 34:58Speaker 1: They're not up to the job anymore, are they.
- 35:00Speaker 2: No search for the perfect G string to play in,
- 35:03Speaker 2: though was long, and you could tell very quickly you
- 35:06Speaker 2: put it onto one side step and if that bugger
- 35:08Speaker 2: moved somewhere it shouldn't have, then it's the wrong one,
- 35:11Speaker 2: and then what you could there was there was one brand,
- 35:13Speaker 2: it was Bonds, ones that I found that were actually good.
- 35:16Speaker 2: But aside for that, all of them ended up in
- 35:18Speaker 2: the wrong places as soon as you do any sort
- 35:20Speaker 2: of lateral movements.
- 35:21Speaker 1: So was this born under the aforementioned body suit? Yes, okay,
- 35:25Speaker 1: all right, yeah, And because now they've got the dress
- 35:28Speaker 1: and they went like like like a bike short underneath it,
- 35:31Speaker 1: don't they?
- 35:32Speaker 3: Yes, so you could actually wear you know, your Bond's
- 35:34Speaker 3: cottontails and rather than just you g string underneath. But
- 35:36Speaker 3: we hadn't We hadn't no option. Some players took the
- 35:40Speaker 3: other option. And there was when there was a little
- 35:42Speaker 3: bit UNDI hanging out and was like, oh you tuck
- 35:44Speaker 3: that in.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Don't look good.
- 35:49Speaker 1: So Liz, do you have a story to share of
- 35:52Speaker 1: not wearing underpants at an appropriate time or.
- 35:59Speaker 3: Nothing that's bring some mot I mean, I was just
- 36:01Speaker 3: going to tell a story that I got. I got
- 36:02Speaker 3: pooed on last week by a bird sitting at a rock.
- 36:07Speaker 3: It was it, well, this is true. But I was
- 36:08Speaker 3: watching everyone and play and I had worn I was
- 36:12Speaker 3: going down to Byron, so you know, I thought I
- 36:14Speaker 3: will have to have my Byron passport on them, which
- 36:16Speaker 3: is linen so or a nice white linen shed. And
- 36:20Speaker 3: I could sort of feel something, the presence above me,
- 36:23Speaker 3: and then this big dark shape passed before my eyes
- 36:26Speaker 3: and I looked down and just gone splat all over
- 36:29Speaker 3: the water.
- 36:30Speaker 1: And it was it's good luck, I reckon. Only people
- 36:33Speaker 1: have been pooed on by birds say it's good Luck's
- 36:35Speaker 1: exactly right.
- 36:36Speaker 2: So I did buy a lottery ticket. Last time I
- 36:38Speaker 2: got pooed on. I was with you, remember, Oh yeah,
- 36:40Speaker 2: you were too. Did you win win? So no, no,
- 36:43Speaker 2: it's not.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Good I won that day, though, Yes, that was funny.
- 36:49Speaker 2: But lizellis you know this about yourself anytime you wear white?
- 36:53Speaker 2: I know?
- 36:54Speaker 3: And I was like, but I was being so careful,
- 36:57Speaker 3: Like I was careful about what I drank and what
- 36:59Speaker 3: I ate. And I wore white pants to the game
- 37:01Speaker 3: the other night and they came up fine. I feel
- 37:03Speaker 3: like I'm in my early fifties, I'm maturing into the
- 37:07Speaker 3: ability to wear white. But this was such an uncontrolled event.
- 37:10Speaker 3: I felt so targeted by this bird. And it wasn't
- 37:14Speaker 3: my fault. I didn't spill anything. I just sat under
- 37:18Speaker 3: a tree. She felt tired by the bird.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Well, if you think of anything in the next couple
- 37:26Speaker 1: of minutes, Liz, you are allowed to contribute. But I
- 37:28Speaker 1: want to talk about something nice. So we've got this
- 37:31Speaker 1: thing that happens in the Facebook group once a fortnight
- 37:33Speaker 1: and it's like, tell me something good that's happened to
- 37:36Speaker 1: you this week. Doesn't need to be netball rolatta, and
- 37:38Speaker 1: it's I love it. It's so nice. We've got such
- 37:41Speaker 1: fabulous thing. So dribbler. Abby Dawson has passed her test
- 37:44Speaker 1: to become an Australian citizen. So you welcome, Abby, Although.
- 37:48Speaker 2: What's after the leamingtons? Can you eat in one sitting?
- 37:51Speaker 1: Well, I think there are actual questions. Oh yeah, after
- 37:54Speaker 1: the ferns. She might she might be more conflicted about
- 37:57Speaker 1: who she supports. Michelle Hill has done one week in
- 38:01Speaker 1: her new job, and Donna Morris has got herself a
- 38:03Speaker 1: new job. Emma Lindsay is a year eleven teacher and
- 38:06Speaker 1: got just a beautiful message from one of her students
- 38:09Speaker 1: who she's teaching, and it's just the nicest thing. And
- 38:11Speaker 1: we want to know all the good stuff that's happening
- 38:14Speaker 1: to you. And Joe Anne Costa has read my book
- 38:17Speaker 1: and this is the only review that matters. She said
- 38:19Speaker 1: it was fabulous, so thanks Joe that she went on holidays.
- 38:23Speaker 1: So but yeah, please get around that dribblers, because it's
- 38:26Speaker 1: so I just I love I love reading it. You know,
- 38:29Speaker 1: people winning President's awards at their netball club and trivia
- 38:33Speaker 1: comps and apparently Darryl Milton's finally got around to doing
- 38:37Speaker 1: some jobs in the garden that he's been meaning to
- 38:39Speaker 1: do for some time. So far, I was happy about that.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Bring umb and all. What about awesome women? So I
- 38:45Speaker 2: just was on the Gram and saw a post about
- 38:49Speaker 2: Jade Henderson. Do you know Jade a crossfitter. I'm assuming
- 38:54Speaker 2: she just broke the record for chin ups seven hundred
- 38:58Speaker 2: and thirty three in an hour.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Did you see her hands?
- 39:02Speaker 2: Yes? Oh, if you haven't seen it, get on. Jade
- 39:07Speaker 2: Henderson is her name. Her hands ripped to shreds seven
- 39:13Speaker 2: hundred and thirty three chin ups in an hour, and
- 39:16Speaker 2: the vision of her doing them is like it's nothing, No,
- 39:19Speaker 2: she just pumps it out, unbelievable, So congress to.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Her good work.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Jade.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Women are apparently are meant to urinate on your hands
- 39:28Speaker 1: when you get tears like that. But I think that's
- 39:30Speaker 1: more guy, thing, isn't it.
- 39:32Speaker 2: What's that supposed to do?
- 39:33Speaker 1: Tough enough, tough enough the skin.
- 39:36Speaker 2: We used to put something, oh my god, on our
- 39:40Speaker 2: feet to make it the skin harder. What the hell
- 39:43Speaker 2: would that have been? Some liquid?
- 39:45Speaker 3: Don't know?
- 39:46Speaker 2: Oh, help me someone anyway to toughen the surface of
- 39:49Speaker 2: your skin so you wouldn't get blisters and stuff like that.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Before I got these, I used frod grips. Now, for
- 39:55Speaker 1: CrossFit jade, you'd probably get around those, but I used
- 39:58Speaker 1: to have to. They're called frog grips. It's a particular type.
- 40:02Speaker 1: And I don't get blisters anymore, but I don't get
- 40:04Speaker 1: the calluses on my hand. I used to have to
- 40:05Speaker 1: shave the calluses on my hands. Don't CrossFit. It's like
- 40:09Speaker 1: it does feel somewhat inand at all actually to be
- 40:12Speaker 1: getting them to race the blade shavings, shaving the palms.
- 40:16Speaker 2: And she had full on gloves on though, Like that's
- 40:18Speaker 2: how full on this was that it still was ripping.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Yes, well, salm one hundred of them, they said, as well,
- 40:23Speaker 1: good boe reckon.
- 40:25Speaker 2: I'd be able to do one really, Yeah, if I
- 40:27Speaker 2: jumped off from the ground, it would just get one. Yeah, okay,
- 40:30Speaker 2: it doesn't could you do?
- 40:33Speaker 3: Oh?
- 40:33Speaker 1: So? Am I doing them with a kip? So the
- 40:36Speaker 1: swing in between? No, okay, just strict then I can
- 40:40Speaker 1: do about four or five with the swing thing. With
- 40:43Speaker 1: the swing, I can do about twenty. Oh Rachel Airs
- 40:47Speaker 1: would be able to do a lot more than I can.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Wow.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Yeah, my gosh, she's a week.
- 40:50Speaker 2: I reckon.
- 40:51Speaker 3: I'm with you, Catherine.
- 40:51Speaker 2: I might.
- 40:52Speaker 3: I might get one out. Yeah, you might get dressed
- 40:54Speaker 3: every day to go and do some weights, which I'm
- 40:56Speaker 3: dressed for today, and most days I don't get there.
- 40:59Speaker 3: I figured if I get dress for it, I'll do
- 41:01Speaker 3: thinking about it.
- 41:02Speaker 2: That's the thought that counts.
- 41:04Speaker 1: So all right, let's talk about there's another game of
- 41:07Speaker 1: netball happening on Wednesday. It is the Diamonds and the ferns.
- 41:10Speaker 1: What what's everyone's tip on this?
- 41:12Speaker 2: Oh? God, who would know? Because I thought Australia We're
- 41:14Speaker 2: going to go there and absolutely demoralize them, and that
- 41:17Speaker 2: never happened.
- 41:18Speaker 1: No.
- 41:18Speaker 2: I do feel like we are good at responding. We
- 41:22Speaker 2: don't often get beaten twice in a row.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Except last year.
- 41:26Speaker 2: Well that was three times?
- 41:27Speaker 3: Did it wasn't twice? In Carol?
- 41:29Speaker 2: I know there's two there and one here. Yeah, I know,
- 41:31Speaker 2: I feel I feel pretty confident pretty that we will respond,
- 41:37Speaker 2: and I think, yeah, they'll have a very very good
- 41:40Speaker 2: look at that, and I think they'll be better at
- 41:42Speaker 2: maybe protecting themselves in each other in the way they
- 41:45Speaker 2: play m because the umpiring was loose. So I think
- 41:52Speaker 2: you've got to be a smarter the way you play
- 41:53Speaker 2: to a degree that you take the umpire out of
- 41:56Speaker 2: the game.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Yes, So will it be the same umpires? When will
- 41:59Speaker 1: they find out the umpires it's the same three umpires
- 42:02Speaker 1: at traveling during the Constellation Cup, and they may rotate,
- 42:04Speaker 1: but I suspect for Game four that still have the
- 42:07Speaker 1: top two of those three on and.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Gary Burgess is one of them. He's done the most.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Love Gary Burgess, he's great, and as I said, I
- 42:15Speaker 2: love the fact that they were blowing the whistle the
- 42:17Speaker 2: whole time. But we just need to be smarter about
- 42:20Speaker 2: playing that kind of umpiring. Yeah, and you don't throwing
- 42:23Speaker 2: long cross court balls where someone's going to get cleaned up.
- 42:25Speaker 2: You keep it short, you keep the umpire out of
- 42:27Speaker 2: the contest, and you protect yourselves, which is what I
- 42:29Speaker 2: think we need to do that.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Yeah, there were a lot that Karen Berger was able
- 42:33Speaker 1: to intercept went there. That was interesting. Where's Gary Burgess from.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Underland, England?
- 42:39Speaker 3: He's been around, did he umpire you, Catherine? Yeah, I
- 42:42Speaker 3: think he would have Yeah as well. Yeah, he's been
- 42:44Speaker 3: around for a long time and he's great. He just
- 42:46Speaker 3: lets stuff go. So, like there were some comments online
- 42:49Speaker 3: about the umpiring, but if you sort of get carried
- 42:52Speaker 3: away with that then and the players won't because you
- 42:54Speaker 3: know that if you do, if you you blame the umpires,
- 42:56Speaker 3: that you lose the ability to make to make any changes, right,
- 43:00Speaker 3: you'll lose control of the situation. So guarantee you the
- 43:03Speaker 3: Diamonds won't be thinking about that. I'll just be thinking about, Okay,
- 43:05Speaker 3: how do we be better?
- 43:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like with any big tournament we played, hey,
- 43:10Speaker 2: because you know you're not allowed to with the big
- 43:12Speaker 2: games of gold medal Games and a Common Games or
- 43:14Speaker 2: a World Cup. You can't have the best umpires in
- 43:16Speaker 2: the world because they're of Australian Zealand. Yeah, and that's
- 43:18Speaker 2: typically who you're playing. So we always had to have
- 43:21Speaker 2: the conversations around being smart with the umpiring, so where possible,
- 43:27Speaker 2: make sure it's clear that you're taking a couple of
- 43:29Speaker 2: steps because our game is so fast and if you
- 43:31Speaker 2: don't umpire that every week, it's very hard for them
- 43:34Speaker 2: to keep up with it. I appreciate that, but also
- 43:36Speaker 2: things like don't stand right on the transverse line on
- 43:40Speaker 2: the center pass because it can look like you're breaking
- 43:44Speaker 2: because you're that quick, So just stand back a little bit.
- 43:46Speaker 2: You Also, you could get pushed over the umpire might
- 43:49Speaker 2: not see the contact and might just think you've gone
- 43:51Speaker 2: off side. So stuff like that, And of course we've
- 43:54Speaker 2: learned that stuff the hard way, haven't we. I remember
- 43:56Speaker 2: Cherrelle McMahon broke on one of the center passes and
- 44:00Speaker 2: one of the games and we lost the center pass
- 44:02Speaker 2: and we ended up losing the game. She always thinks
- 44:04Speaker 2: it's her fault. I missed two shots to win the game.
- 44:07Speaker 2: I always think it's my fault. It's really funny when
- 44:09Speaker 2: you talk to different people about their experiences and somebody
- 44:12Speaker 2: thinks that you know, that was their fault. But it's
- 44:14Speaker 2: stuff like that where you go, yeah, okay, we need
- 44:16Speaker 2: to be smarter the next time we play. Learn all
- 44:18Speaker 2: those little lessons and I think Australia will definitely be
- 44:22Speaker 2: a little bit smarter in that regard.
- 44:24Speaker 1: So you think Diamonds by a whisker, I.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Think it'll be close yea, yeah, but Diamonds, I think.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Do you think we'll get extra time?
- 44:31Speaker 2: Well, no, because you won't be well no, I think
- 44:33Speaker 2: they're going to win the game. Yep, same. I think
- 44:38Speaker 2: the close game is blowout, yes, class game.
- 44:41Speaker 3: New Zealand are hard to beat at home. You know,
- 44:43Speaker 3: they get into the black dress on New Zealand soil
- 44:46Speaker 3: and they're a ten goal better team.
- 44:48Speaker 1: So I think that's almost impossible to think that the
- 44:50Speaker 1: Diamonds could dominate New Zealand on Wednesday after yesterday, to
- 44:56Speaker 1: know to the same extent that they did in Australia.
- 44:58Speaker 1: And I don't tip because it's terrible for everyone when
- 45:02Speaker 1: I do.
- 45:03Speaker 2: How's Bob Jarvis if we can go back asking what
- 45:06Speaker 2: we thought would happen in the game in Sydney? And
- 45:08Speaker 2: I said to her, why you want to go to
- 45:10Speaker 2: the tab just be a smarter Well She's like, oh.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe I will.
- 45:14Speaker 2: For the record, Barb, that's not what I was suggested.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Anyway, she did go and she put a bed on.
- 45:19Speaker 2: She said the only thing she could bet on though,
- 45:21Speaker 2: was the score with the combined totals would be less
- 45:24Speaker 2: than on more than one hundred and sixteen, and she
- 45:26Speaker 2: missed out by three goals.
- 45:27Speaker 3: Okay, so that's why you gamble responsibly.
- 45:30Speaker 2: That's in the rat days and to me being a
- 45:33Speaker 2: smarty pants.
- 45:34Speaker 1: All right, So yeah, big game again on Wednesday night.
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'm am seeing the net Borne Suffis stay dinner on
- 45:41Speaker 1: Saturday night. So I Fanny Driplers, did they come to Hello?
- 45:44Speaker 1: Oh yeah, be fun. Yeah, I'm very much looking forward
- 45:47Speaker 1: to that. But we have to vote for Catherine before Friday,
- 45:50Speaker 1: so I will be harassing you all week on Facebook, Driplers,
- 45:54Speaker 1: so you might as well do what I ask and
- 45:57Speaker 1: shut me out.
- 45:59Speaker 2: A special award on Sunday all day Saturday. So Elizabeth,
- 46:04Speaker 2: you're doing the Lizzella's Diamond, you must be on Friday Friday.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I am just just secretly tell us who it is
- 46:12Speaker 1: it we won't just between us girls.
- 46:15Speaker 3: I often don't know until the night, so just so
- 46:17Speaker 3: people know, I don't choose it. It's a it's a system.
- 46:20Speaker 3: I get handed the envelope, envelope, whatever you want to
- 46:23Speaker 3: call it, and I open it up and go and
- 46:25Speaker 3: I go. I hope it's a goalkeeper and that's all
- 46:27Speaker 3: I do, and the goalkeeper I try to put on
- 46:31Speaker 3: a happy face, pardon.
- 46:32Speaker 2: For the record, to let everyone know. It is actually
- 46:34Speaker 2: a diamond, isn't it. It is a diamond, one carrot diamond,
- 46:37Speaker 2: I think it is.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Is it a necklace?
- 46:39Speaker 3: I think it's that's just a stone and then you
- 46:41Speaker 3: get to do what you want with it. So if
- 46:42Speaker 3: you want earrings, you've got to have two good years.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Yeah, what are you wearing? Have you got an outfit? Now?
- 46:48Speaker 3: I'll pick a frock out and hope for the best.
- 46:50Speaker 3: Hope it does has got a stain on it.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Don't wear white. It's my advice.
- 46:55Speaker 1: I don't know I'm white, and don't put a veil on it.
- 46:58Speaker 1: If you do choose to wear a white dress, that
- 47:00Speaker 1: would be weird. Confused. Did you ever get a lizz
- 47:04Speaker 1: Ella Steinmond? Do you just have to give it away
- 47:06Speaker 1: every year in your own name? No?
- 47:08Speaker 3: Well, back when I was playing, we used to get
- 47:10Speaker 3: what it used to be. It was like the Notes
- 47:11Speaker 3: Style Player of the Year and then the CBA Player.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Of the Year. Yeah, he's won plenty of them.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Oh I know, but I'm just talking about the actual
- 47:21Speaker 1: Stoneman as she got.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. No, just cash cold hard cash man.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Cash cash is good.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Cash cash is Speaking of brides though, Halloween obviously on
- 47:31Speaker 2: Friday night, and I was so organized that last year.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Straight after Halloween, I'm jumped on team and ordered stuff.
- 47:39Speaker 2: Yeah it was Halloween, Yeah yeah, I know, it's just
- 47:44Speaker 2: thought I'll get it on sale. Anyway, master stroke. I
- 47:47Speaker 2: found a picture frame costume and you put your head
- 47:51Speaker 2: through it and it's the screen picture so then you
- 47:54Speaker 2: just have your hands come through and not like this,
- 47:56Speaker 2: except so I didn't try it on.
- 47:57Speaker 1: It was delivered Edvard Munch.
- 48:00Speaker 2: I'm sorry, painter of the screen Edvard. There you go. Anyway,
- 48:06Speaker 2: I got it delivered and I put it in storage,
- 48:09Speaker 2: didn't try it on. So went to get it last
- 48:10Speaker 2: week and tried it on, and it's got no structure
- 48:14Speaker 2: so the corners flopped down. It's an absolute train wreck. Anyway,
- 48:19Speaker 2: So I was googling away where I can get another
- 48:21Speaker 2: costume last minute, and Spotlight had a bloody bride. I
- 48:25Speaker 2: was like, this was probably going to be the only
- 48:27Speaker 2: time I'm going to wear a white dress with a veil.
- 48:31Speaker 1: I'm going to go and get that.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Anyway, I didn't have any in stocks. I'm now I'm
- 48:35Speaker 2: a nurse.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, are your hot nurse.
- 48:39Speaker 2: I've killed plenty of people. I'm covered in bloods. I
- 48:41Speaker 2: don't know if that turns you on and all this.
- 48:44Speaker 1: So we can't do anything with this frame of yours
- 48:47Speaker 1: to give it structure.
- 48:48Speaker 2: It's well, we could, but it's not worth the exercise.
- 48:51Speaker 2: I'll get some wire and stick it in the corners
- 48:53Speaker 2: or something, and then it will poked me in the aisle.
- 48:54Speaker 3: I don't know who'd have thought something you bought online
- 48:57Speaker 3: didn't turn out very cheap.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, my.
- 49:01Speaker 2: Two dollars fifty frame from team It is not what
- 49:04Speaker 2: it looked like in the picture.
- 49:05Speaker 1: You were you were telling me about this last week
- 49:08Speaker 1: after we recorded, and you were really congratulating yourself. So
- 49:11Speaker 1: I'm sorry that you've had an emotional rollercoaster of a
- 49:13Speaker 1: week with that.
- 49:14Speaker 2: I know it's been tough. Anyway, we've we found a solution.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Good.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Yeah. Well I did think it was going to be
- 49:20Speaker 2: a bride for a minute next year.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Okay. So we've got some exciting changes happening here at
- 49:29Speaker 1: No Dribble HQ in the next week. But we'll be
- 49:31Speaker 1: talking about that next week. Also, we're starting to record
- 49:35Speaker 1: our summer series. We are. We're not telling anyone who
- 49:38Speaker 1: were I wasn't going to never well you wouldn't know.
- 49:41Speaker 1: I have to make you guess.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I know, which I can't wait for because
- 49:45Speaker 2: I'm so bad at that. But we're starting doing those today.
- 49:47Speaker 2: And we've got seven fabulous people for you over summer guys,
- 49:51Speaker 2: so get excited.
- 49:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that is very exciting. They are some great well
- 49:56Speaker 1: you don't know, but I was some outstanding into Are
- 50:00Speaker 1: we going to go back into Coxy's hot box?
- 50:03Speaker 2: Should we think? I think so too.
- 50:06Speaker 1: See if they can stand the heat? Okay, well vote
- 50:09Speaker 1: for Catherine, go the diamonds, and yeah, it'll be interesting
- 50:13Speaker 1: to hear from Liz next week about who is the
- 50:16Speaker 1: Liz Ellis Diamond. My vote j LP, But could be
- 50:23Speaker 1: I reckon, there's seven or eight people who could very
- 50:26Speaker 1: well have a good.
- 50:27Speaker 2: Claim on that.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Sly and MC, well, you too can't wait to hear
- 50:31Speaker 1: about that too. Oh thank you, yeah, thank you. All right, everyone,
