  Season 2, in a short summary of season 1 is young man gets hit

  by a vending machine lorry. He's obsessed with vending

  machines and in a bizarre twist of fate is Issachyde into a

  fantasy realm of dungeons and magic where as a living as a as
• 3:56
  a human soul trapped in a living magical vending machine.

  And he starts to make friends and they start to wander the
• 4:06
  dungeon together. Where do we find ourselves in

  season 2? Chris, give us a a little

  summary of what happens. Oh, I can totally give you a

  little summary because not a lot happens.

  So right, there's these these kind of Izzy guys or animes

  always run 12 episodes. So yeah, 1st 10 episodes is much

  more of the first season, but less plot.

  It is, it is fluff. It is on in the background.

  If you miss something, it doesn't matter.

  I miss. I miss a lot.

  They they have a few moments where they're like little twists

  for some characters, but by and large, it's so it's really

  simple. It's like blessedly simple,

  There's a lot of things because obviously we did went into the

  archives and saw the the first series where I did that last

  week or anime club. So I've, I've put that back out

  and I've put some short out of it.

  And there's a the reaction is like, why the hell is this being

  made? Why have they got three seasons

  of this? And I can't, I can't kind of
• 5:19
  understand the anger towards it because people are like, Oh

  yeah, yeah, you could have made this of my, of my favorite
• 5:26
  anime. It could have been a season 2 or
• 5:28
  you could have more budget. But no, they pulled the
• 5:30
  resources and made this. And I get it from that end, but
• 5:34
  it's like, I don't see life like that.

  I also, I think the world is full of very serious anime,
• 5:44
  right? If you want to go and watch
• 5:45
  something that's going to like like make your heartbeat faster
• 5:49
  and feel, make you feel stress and a deep emotion and it's
• 5:55
  going to make you invest like part of yourself.

  There are so many anime out there already to have an anime
• 6:02
  that is like like even that. So I think we both said like
• 6:06
  compared to so season 1, we went in and we were kind of a little
• 6:09
  bit, it was a like because our expectations were so low because
• 6:14
  on paper, this is everything that certainly everything I hate
• 6:18
  about anime, like all of the tropes that I'm just kind of
• 6:21
  over. And yet somehow it became weird
• 6:24
  and compelling and we went, we both watched the whole season in
• 6:28
  a week. And even season 2 is, I would
• 6:32
  say there's even less going on. And yet I've still watched a
• 6:35
  whole season. Like at no point have I gone, do
• 6:40
  you know what? Let's just do the first 3
• 6:41
  episodes. I'm ready to tap out now.

  Like, and I could have done that at any point and I just haven't.
• 6:47
  And I can't explain that funny to anyone.

  So I was tempted to say that I've got I've got to episode 7
• 7:00
  and because obviously we've had two weeks where we can watch
• 7:05
  what we want and just watch things for fun.

  So I've been exploring a bit and watching different anime.

  I've been watching that that magical garden thing one all the
• 7:15
  gods. I've been watching Revengers and
• 7:19
  I've had a break from One Piece as well.

  And I'm like, Oh, it's like a nice little palate cleanser and
• 7:23
  it's been a chore to go back to this because I'm like nothing's
• 7:27
  happening or capturing my interest.

  I don't have the same like this is quite quite nice the.
• 7:35
  Novelty's worn off. Yeah, I didn't have any
• 7:38
  expectation going at the first one and it surprised us.

  I had a little bit of the expectation of the first series
• 7:45
  going in and it hasn't met up to that.

  It did on the last episode, I think it was.

  I was like, oh, actually I wouldn't mind continuing on
• 7:55
  this. I kind of want to continue on to
• 7:56
  season 3 just to see these unanswered questions that all
• 7:59
  just blow past an ignor. That is my main problem with

  this series is it raises some really interesting characters
• 8:08
  and questions and at no point does it delve deeper into them
• 8:12
  like it is so so on the surface. And I think because of that it
• 8:15
  is very refreshing. Palate like palate cleanser I
• 8:18
  think is the perfect description for this anime.

  Like if you're deep into like a really big arc.

  So oh, oh, because yeah, obviously we had two weeks and

  we watched gun we, well, we created a Dragon Ball drinking
• 8:32
  game, me and my boyfriend, and he then like printed them out

  onto fun cards. So we've been watching a lot of

  Dragon Ball and drinking way too much apple sours for any human
• 8:41
  body to consume. I don't know if you've ever had
• 8:44
  to like shot 4 apple sours shots in a row, but it is undeathered.

  Oh yeah, definitely. Know so syrupy and so we've

  watched that and played that and you can see the rules on our

  who any of the characters are. I spent most of the film trying

  to explain it to him and being probably very annoying and nerdy

  I think I got up to Episode 9 and I was like, OK, I'm going to

  tap out for a little bit and then had three episodes left to

  I think this, I think the the fact that there's almost so

  little at stake because you never go too deep into anything

  it can. It started to lose its shiny a

  little bit, but I still enjoyed it.

  And I still thought as like in terms of season finales, the

  last episode was definitely the strongest for sure.

  I thought it was it was the, the, the got to season 2 when

  they're like, right, OK, we kind of want to go for a season 3,

  but we've got nothing to continue on.

  generals who are popping up. They don't tell you about their

  back story or why they're serving the Nether Lord.

  So obviously with the snow elf show, Doctor Bear could call
