- Apocalypse Ventures: Morning. The following audio transmission will forever change your album on society. You will no longer believe the narrative. You are about to wake up and see things for what they really are. facts and opinions. This is the Doom Daily Show. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Doom Daily Show. I am your host, Jester Dooms, the email, Doom Daily Show at gmail.com. Ladies and gentlemen, it is hump day. Yes, I believe so. Apparently I got that wrong on yesterday's show, and the producer called me on it, and I'm like, dude, whatever, man. The days they're running together. My brain, it is turning to mush. It is fine. No one's gonna no one's gonna crucify me for getting the day wrong. But it is hump day now for you guys, and I'm hoping you've had a lovely week so far as we slowly creep on into the weekend. I really feel like Wednesday's one of those I don't give a fuck days, right? That's just how I feel about it. You know, it's like, you know, Monday's coming and you're like, ⁓ no, the weekend's over. And you gotta kinda like get in bed early and you work on. Putting yourself together in the morning, that first day is a struggle. Then Tuesday comes along, you're like, ⁓ it's okay. It's not so bad. All right, we're making it. And then, you know, Tuesday night rolls around though, and you're fuck it. I'm cracking open the whiskey. I've had two days of this shit and I've had enough. I'm done. It's over. I I'm it's it's I'm getting fucked up tonight. Cause tomorrow's Wednesday and I don't give a shit. I think that's what ⁓ how a lot of people do this. So I know I'll be later on, ⁓ This evening, I I may or may not be partaking in the Beans and Weenie is slightly doomed show, which is taking place tonight live everywhere. ⁓ Podbean, YouTube, the Facebook. It's everywhere. Right. And you guys could come check us out and enjoy the lovely comedy that we have to offer. So ⁓ with that being said, ladies and gentlemen, my day today was pretty, pretty uneventful. We had ⁓ I only got to go on one 911 call today. The rest of my time was spent doing paperwork ⁓ at the station. And I'm, you know. old Doomy doesn't like the paperwork. Doomy does enough, I feel. You know, Doomie needs to relax a little bit. I d you know, the the one good thing about working at the prison is it's a job that pays really well for you to do absolutely nothing. So it's hard for me To say, let's do more for less money. Yes, and and be like happy and ready to rock and roll about it. Even though I enjoy the work better and there's things to do in the days go quicker. It's like, man, I'm having to do stuff with my brain. I don't want to do stuff with my brain. So ⁓ yeah, did paperwork today, come home. The wife made ⁓ grilled chicken drumsticks, which are like one of my favorite things to eat in corn on the cob. So had corn on the cob and chicken. Lovely, lovely. Enjoyed it very much so. And I'm the type of person like my go-to now is for corn is goat butter, okay, and badaya complete seasoning. I think that's how you say it. Badaya, badaya, badaya, badaya complete seasoning. Those two things on corn, ⁓ wow, it's a game changer for corn. But I didn't feel like doing all that tonight, so I ate my corn plain. And believe it or not, if you get the right corn, Plain corn can be d absolutely delicious. And this corn was absolutely delicious. My kids loved it. They gobbled it up, no problem. They wanted more. And my wife only made five years, and I was like ready to fight the kids for it. So I was like, you know what? I looked at ⁓ little dooms and I was like, we're splitting this one. You good with that? And he's like, Yeah, sure. I'm like, okay, cool. Now I don't have to fight you for it. But anyway, moving on ⁓ from that. Got one package in the mail today. Very sneaky mailman I have, guys. Let me tell you. So I'm watching my eBay counter because I ordered this little Hot Wheels car that's the same exact model, year, and color as the car I just bought. I was like, how cool would it be to have a Hot Wheels of the car I own, right? That'd be pretty cool. So I ordered this little car off eBay and I've been watching it, you know, getting ready for it to come. And I'm like thinking, dog's gotta be in the house because it might not fit in the mailbox. I don't know what kind of packaging it's in. And ⁓ it said it was out for delivery this morning. I checked my mailbox, there's nothing there. And then finally I got a notification it was delivered. My screen doors open in the back. Okay. The mailman creeps up. I don't hear the truck. The dog doesn't bark nothing. And I go outside. I I grab my keys. I walk out the back door to go go dri to drive down to the mailbox. My mailbox is it. I could walk there, but I was like, I need to get there and get back. So let me just take the truck. ⁓ anyway, I go to walk outside, it's just sitting there on the back porch. And I'm like, when the hell was he here? We've been out on the back porch the whole time. But sneaky sneaky mailman, I'm gonna have to go back and watch my cameras and see ⁓ see how he got up there so sneakily without the dog noticing or anybody noticing. ⁓ so I got my little car and then I started messing with my car and went in the inside of my door panel to look at my speakers to find out that some jack wagon out there. So the whole time I'm thinking my front door speakers are blown in my car. Like they don't sound right. And this car comes with a nice Harman Cardo and sound system, and I'm like, man, you know. I I know these speakers sound fantastic, so this has to be blown. I pull it out. Some idiot replaced them with pioneers and I'm pissed. Cause they only did the front too. It's not like they upgraded all the speakers and you know they only had money for the the pioneers or some shit. Like no no no no no no. They put pioneers in the front. So I'm thinking probably what happened is is the car dealer I bought this thing from may have had somebody that was like, hey dude, can I take a speaker out of there? Cause like I'm missing my Harmons. And they like, ⁓ yeah, fuck it. Customers will never know. Or something like that happened at one point. Okay. Cause nobody's gonna go take out the Harman Cardones and replace them with a fucking pioneer. I don't care who you are. You're just not gonna do that. So now I'm in a rush to find the OEM speakers to put in this card, which retail for about $130 a piece currently, which are more than you would pay for Like a kicker or a Rockford Fosgate or a JBL or something a little bit better, right? ⁓ but I like the way the factory audio is. I think the factory audio is fine. So I think I'll probably just go ahead, put the the ⁓ two hundred and sixty dollars worth of speakers in the front of the car, enjoy the OEM sound system for as long as possible, and then maybe one day we will upgrade the sound in the car. But for right now, that's just the way it's gonna stay. Ladies and gentlemen, we'll be right back after these messages. Hey, producer Scooter here. If you haven't figured it out by now, I am your host, Jester Dooms, and that email is Doom Daily Show at gmail.com. So I'm sure we've all heard this saying. Sometimes the trash takes itself out. Sure you guys have all heard that saying at one point in time or another. I ⁓ have been experiencing this more and more in my life recently. Where I'll have a garbage person in my life and they will just take themselves away from me. And it's like, wow. I don't know if it's like me becoming more abrasive over the years and you know, people being less tolerable to me. I don't know if it's like the older I get, the less of a give a shit attitude I have. And it's like, dude, fuck you. I don't care. Maybe that's what it is. ⁓ but I've been noticing, like, you know, I'll I'll have people around me and they're kind of kind of shitty. Right. And then they just kind of vanish. And it it took like little to no effort to make that happen. You get what I'm saying? Like little to no effort. And they're just like ping, they're gone, or they won't talk to me, or whatever the case may be, or they're talking shit. Not like I'm one of these people. I don't give a fuck if people talk shit behind my back. I don't care. Right. And that's ultimately what I wanted to get into with this first part of the show. Haters are gonna hate, man. People are gonna find reasons to hate you regardless of how good you are to them, regardless of what you've done for them over the years. People are fucking vile. It is bad. So I've noticed this more and more over the years as I'm, you know, coming into adult, or not coming into adulthood, but as I'm becoming an older individual. Like I didn't realize this when I was a kid. I didn't realize this in my teenagers. I didn't realize this being a young adult. But now that I'm getting older and wiser, I'm discovering this to be a very real, true thing, where pretty much every single person in your life will talk shit behind your back. Okay. And it's usually due to jealousy. Okay? If you're semi-successful, you've probably seen this a lot. Like, fuck this guy in his house, or fuck this guy and his dog, or fuck this guy and his exotic hamster collection. Like nobody I mean, seriously, that's That's just how people are. So people do not like to admit their own faults or their own wrongdoings. It's not a thing. Okay. They love to place the blame on other people. And it it's a continuous cycle that these people get into. They do something wrong. They don't want to face the music. They lie. They make up excuses. They place blame on others. And a lot of the times the people that they do this to. Are people that they've taken advantage of so many times over the years that have treated them so well. Okay. I'm not I've told stories about past friendships on on this on the show and people that I just don't talk to anymore, but these these vile scumbags exist. So how do you combat the shit talking behind your back? You just don't. You don't. You don't give it any thought. You don't put any effort into it. You just simply ignore it. So if somebody comes up to you and says, ⁓ hey, dooms, man, I heard that, you know, you ⁓ Have an affinity for horse porn. ⁓ yeah, man, I love it. It's it's great. There's nothing better to me than a giant horse cock. Like that's that's how you have to handle these situations. And then you just laugh it off and you walk away from it. You know, there's a lot of people out there that put so much effort into tracking down where information's coming from and who said what. And then they get involved in this he said, she said game. And it's an it's just endless. And it becomes this. this rabbit hole of just squirting nasty negative energy that you don't need in your life. Okay. You don't need that shit. So a lot of the times when someone comes to me and they say, Hey Doomy, like I heard this, is it true? If it's true, I'll flat out just admit to it. Like, yeah, I did that. Yeah, I did it. I'm not proud of it, but I did it. Do you want to keep talking about it? Or are we good? ⁓ okay. You don't? We're good. Okay, cool. And then They have nowhere to go. They came directly to the source. They asked me about. I said, Yeah, it's true. And then that's it. It's over. Or if it's a situation where it's not true and it's some idiot just talking shit just to talk shit. It's it's really a case by case circumstance whether or not I'll correct them. If they came to me to ask me about this because they actually care and they actually give us shit, then I might entertain it, give it, give it a little bit of time a day and say, dude, look, your your information's bad. That is absolutely 100% not true. Whoever told you that, correct them because that's just false and that's it. Well, why would someone say that to me? I don't know, because people are retarded. Like I really don't know. I I don't know. And then I've got into a habit with some of these people where if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck and swims like a duck, ⁓ it's probably a fucking duck. And then you just cut those people off. You j you don't give them any more time. And what I've come to find, you know. recently, ⁓ in the last handful of years is that you cannot reason with people. Trying to get somebody to understand your side of a story or trying to get somebody to understand things from your perspective really don't fucking matter. It doesn't matter. So don't give it energy because you could you could talk and talk and talk till you're absolutely blue in the face. But if these people are stuck in their ways and they think that they're right, they're gonna continue to just be that way. So if someone says, ⁓ hey Doomy, I heard that you Smash this guy's ⁓ car windshield at the bar one night when you were wasted. No okay. No, I didn't do that. Right? No, I didn't. Well, they said you did. Like, well, I didn't, dude. And well, they said they got you on camera. Dude, I I didn't. Like I was there that night. I walked outside to take a piss. I walked back in. I sat down. And then some dude was hollering about his windshield, and I was the only one that walked out the door, dude. There could have been eight people that walked up in the alley. Each of them had a hammer. I don't know. But it wasn't fucking me. And then you become frustrated and annoyed. And then there's this rumor or this, that, the other. It's better off to just be like, you know what? Yeah, I did. And if you talk shit, I'll smash your fucking window too. Like that's that's a better bit. Instead of trying to convince these people otherwise. Because there is a big circle of bullshit you will get sucked into and you will find yourself getting down to these people's level. And that's a level you don't want to be at. Because most of these vile people who do this shit talking behind your back are so upset with their own fucking existence. That they have to come after you to bring you down to their level because they're jealous or they're, you know, they want what you have, they're extremely envious. You know, and it could be anything. It could be something as simple as you're in really good health because you take care of yourself. Someone else is not and they're jealous of that. It could be something as simple as, you know, you're you have a house and they do not, or you have a car and they do not, or you have a decent job and they do not. Or maybe you have like a kid that's like really good at sports and all the other parents are pissed off because their kids aren't as good. You know, it could be anything along these lines. And the reality is, is, is competition within human beings has been bred into us and and we've been molded to be these competitive creatures. And when you get into the real world and you find out, hey, we're not playing sports against each other anymore, and you know, there's no prize to win and we're all not taking the same test to see who's got the highest grade. And You know, then it becomes like real life things. Like, well, I need a better car than you, or I need a better house than you, or I my kids need to be better than your kids. And we create this very combative society, and we've all bought into this, and it's all bullshit. We'll be back right after these messages. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. I am your host, Jester Dooms, the email. Doom Daily Show at gmail.com. So came across a very interesting story today. And it's just it never it never ceases to amaze me when I read like how big these numbers actually are. Okay. So this was on the Epic Times. ⁓ source was City News Service, okay. This came out ⁓ today, and this is what it says. Coast Guard offloads thirty three thousand pounds of cocaine worth four hundred and sixty-eight million dollars. Do you know where? Hmm, do you know where? San Diego. So this took place in San Diego. More than 33,000 pounds of cocaine, worth an estimated 468 million dollars, was offloaded by the U.S. Coast Guard ⁓ today for me, ⁓ May 28th, in San Diego. Officials say the drugs were seized through eight separate smuggling vessel. eight of these motherfuckers were doing this. Okay. This is between February and March of this year that this all This all took place. The crew of the Coast Guard, ⁓ Cutter Moron, Morro Munro, Cutter Monroe, which offloaded the cocaine on Tuesday, seized the drugs from the from vessels off the coast of Mexico in Central and South America. ⁓ Rear Admiral Andrew Sugamoto, commander of the Coast Guard District Eleven, said in a statement, I am extremely proud of this crew and their dedication to disrupting organized crime in the Eastern Pacific. The effort put in while okay, so just to just to break this down. Thirty-three thousand pounds of cocaine. Some dealers are going to be pissed, ladies and gentlemen. And the money, wow, you would so we talk about, we talk about on the show sometimes of this like, you know, dark economy side of things where it's like, you know, the Craigslist sales and the reselling of used cars at a cheaper price where the government doesn't get all their tax money. We talk about the secondary economy. All right. This is black market type stuff. And if you don't think the black market, and this is like really what I wanted to get into with this segment of the show. If you don't think the black market stimulates the economy, you're fucking stupid. There I cannot help you. You're just fucking dumb. Because it absolutely 100% stimulates the fucking shit out of the economy. So if this has a street value of let's go back, 468 million dollars, that's 468 million dollars that's not being put into our economy. Now let that sink in for a second, because a lot of you are probably asking yourself this question right now. Well, Dooms How do how does cocaine sales help the economy? Well, I'm gonna tell you how it helps the economy. All right, number one, people do work their jobs and spend their money on these drugs. Okay. So not everybody that's on drugs or everybody that does cocaine is just some like addict on the side of the street scratching their nutsack. No, no, no. Some of these guys are very successful and they they work really hard, and that's how they're able to afford these expensive drug habits. And with that, They're helping stimulate the economy. They might be managing other people. They might be an HR rep hiring people and bringing new people in and getting them trained up. They might be salespeople selling stuff and getting things moving in the economy. There's a lot of people that do these drugs, man. There, there's a lot. And I'm not trying to normalize it by any stretch and saying, ⁓ yeah, it's normal. It's fine. Blah, blah. It's not, but it's out there. And as soon as you understand that it's out there, this will start making sense. So let's say your drug dealer. decides, hey, ⁓ I'm gonna sell cocaine. He's a coke dealer. Well, the coke dealer wants nice things. He's not selling cocaine for his health. He's selling the cocaine because he wants to buy things, right? Maybe he wants cars, maybe he wants rims for his cars, maybe he wants his house painted, maybe he needs his cars detailed. Maybe the dude's like super into electronics and he's like at Best Buy every other week, buying the latest and greatest, newest thing that's coming out, right? Maybe the guy really likes fine dining and he's he's going out and he's spending a lot of money on food and maybe the guy likes to travel, so he buys plane tickets and goes and travels and you know, island hops and stuff. You know, maybe that's what this guy does. Okay. But either way, he's taking the money from these drug sales and he's putting it back into the economy because all those jobs I just listed combined are employing thousands of people. All right, so let that sink in for a second. That this guy that's selling these drugs is stimulating the economy. So whenever you have people talk about, well, the government brings drugs in, well, yeah, I d I think that they do. I think that they do. And I really honestly think that when you see a Cs or a bus like this, it's because someone didn't pay the fucking tax on it. Somebody did some shady shit and they went after him. That's what I think happens. I think a lot of that's that's what happens. That these, you know, these larger than life, ⁓ you know. drug figure types, they ⁓ are probably paying someone off and they're allowing this shit to come in. And then when they stop paying or they stop doing what they're supposed to be doing, ⁓ look, we seized this shit. Look at what we did. Let's make let's make this make headlines. And then this shit just goes into fucking evidence somewhere. And then if they want to use it for street bus or whatever, they can. Right? Isn't that crazy? They bring it in. Tell you you can't have it and then they can utilize it to their advantage. Isn't that fucking fun? Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, we'll be right back after these messages. Can't get enough of Jester Dooms? Check out his other show, It's Doomsday Podcast, available on all podcast platforms. That's It's Doomsday Podcast. Back to the show. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. I am your host, Jester Dooms. Right. Yes, the email, Doom Daily Show at gmail.com. Ladies and gentlemen, the world is getting crazier. I mean, it's it's getting like uber crazy. And there's a lot of things that I see kind of on the daily that I don't talk about and that I don't like reshare with people. There's ⁓ I I've seen a lot of shit over the years within our society working the law enforcement jobs that I have and and now, you know, working in emergency medical services. You see a lot of goofy, crazy shit, right? And I I thought I saw a lot when I was working the law enforcement realm of things. I thought I saw a lot. ⁓ working the medical side of of stuff, I think there's more. Right. I think there's I think there's definitely more because you're you're Going out and you're dealing with a lot of things that law enforcement's not necessarily involved with. And all the law enforcement jobs I've had over the years, they've how can I put this? Did you see crazy shit? Yes, you did. You absolutely 100% did, but you did it's just it's it's a different animal. That's just the only way can really put it. It's a different animal. I don't tell my kids about all the crazy things. That have been seen over the years, I I don't share that information with them. Right. And it's it's primarily for two reasons. ⁓ the first reason is is I don't want them to know the world is as bad as it is. Okay. And the other reason is I don't want them to worry about me when I'm not home. I I never wanted it to be a situation where they're like, ⁓ hey, you know, daddy You know, it's never been a situation where my wife has been like, go give daddy a hug because he might not come home tonight. Like that's we don't want that in my house. ⁓ you know, the day I leave and I don't come back through that door, I want it to all be, you know, the the best memories possible that the kids would have of me. All right. That's just how it's always been. That's how I would like it to be. That's it. You know, when I was ⁓ when I was working at the school and I was there protecting all the kids. I didn't I didn't I never painted it to anybody like you know like maybe talking with friends or stuff like that like yeah the sole reason I'm there is for an active shooter situation that's the only reason I that's the only reason I'm working this detail. That's it. That's the only reason I'm there. And ⁓ friends knew that, didn't share this with my kids though. You know, didn't want to share that with them. It's just daddy's going to work to protect the kids. That's that's it. not to know what to not knowing what we're protecting them from. Okay. And now going out of the emergency medical side of things, it's like there's there's things that are hitting closer to home now, right? Like inside. It hits closer to home. Cause I'm now I'm now seeing more things that are taking place just closer to home. I I would say. Like it's just, you know, it's it's within my close small knit community I live in. And I'm seeing How bad things are like right around the corner. And it's like, damn it, man. Like this, this has me worried for not just my sake, but my wife's sake, my kids' sake. And it's getting to be really ⁓ it's getting to be really scary out there in the world. People are on edge. The drugs, the drugs are getting worse. People's ⁓ state of mental health is getting worse. Okay. And I really I just really want you I'm I'm not trying to fear monger in this situation, so please don't interpret it that way. But you guys really need to start identifying the signs of things and understanding that they're you know that you could potentially be in danger in a lot of situations where you don't realize it. Okay. I higher highly, highly encourage anybody that can exer exercise their Second Amendment rights and carry a firearm, absolutely do so and get good training with that. Be proficient with that firearm, know what you're doing. Okay. I highly recommend that. I highly recommend people carrying ⁓ you know, all within legalities of your local jurisdictions, ⁓ your local county, city governments regulations, you know, stay within the realm of the law. You know, don't do anything illegal. But if you're if you can carry OC spray, carry it. If you can carry a taser, carry it. If you can carry a firearm, carry it. Right. Do little things to protect yourself. If there's someone in your area that offers self defense courses, take them. Right. If, you know, your wife works in a shady neighborhood, ⁓ and she has to go into work super early when it's dark, maybe you should be the one going with her and driving her. You know, so she doesn't have to walk to the from her car to work alone if it's if it's that bad of a neighborhood and you know it. Okay. Like things like this have me paranoid to high heaven. You know, like I make sure my wife. So my wife, I've I've been trying to over the years ingrain it into her How important it is to protect yourself. And she looks at like, Dooms, you're you're just paranoid, dude. You're you're overboard. I'm like, no, you don't get it. Like, a lot of the shit that happens doesn't make it in your local papers, ladies and gentlemen. You don't know what goes on in your neighborhood. You don't know what's being covered up. So it is I've got her to the point where she keeps at her work, she keeps a gun, she keeps a tourniquet, she keeps Narcan, she keeps things, she keeps OC spray, like good OC spray, shitty OC spray. But you know, she has these things there in the event some shit would go down, and she knows how to use these things and in what order to use these things, right? And she knows how the laws work and she knows at what point she could use deadly force or what force she could use in order to protect herself or my children. And it's ⁓ it's kind of mind-blowing at the end of the day that you say these things to people and they're completely oblivious. And look, if you want to be a victim, you're gonna be a fucking victim. If you're not Going to do something proactive, you're going to have to do something reactive, right? And if you're not trained on that reactive side of things, you are fucked. Point blank, fucked. You know, ⁓ a lot of these people that commit these horrible acts against other humans, it's not their first rodeo. They've done it before. They know what they're doing. So, in in a sense, they have more experience at hurting people than you have defending yourself. Okay, so let that sink in. If anybody's ever been hit in the face enough times, you know that you'll you'll start to shut down. You won't be able to react as fast. You won't be able to think as clearly. once someone starts throwing a beating on you, it's really hard to recover from that, especially if you don't have any training. Okay. And I'm I'm only telling you guys this because I see the world getting darker, I see it getting crazier, I see worse shit happening every day. And I just want everybody out there to be safe and take some proactive steps in protecting themselves. ⁓ we and we don't really talk about this kind of thing on the show, but it is it is the reality. You know, it is the nature of this beast. You have to be able to defend yourself, ladies and gentlemen. Okay. And that's it. We will see you guys back here tomorrow. Producer Scooter, you look so sexy tonight, by the way. All right, good. I'll see you later, guys. Facts and opinions. This is the
