Boil Water Advisory Hits Myrtle Grove | Wilmington News
A boil water advisory is now in effect for about 400 customers along Myrtle Grove Road and nearby streets, including Johns Creek Road and Tidal Walk, due to a water main break. Low pressure from repairs allows bacteria into the system, so residents must boil water for at least one minute before drinking, brushing teeth, making ice, or preparing food. Showers and baths are still safe. The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is testing the water and will lift the advisory once it’s confirmed safe. Stay alert and use bottled water until then.
