- 0:30Comfortable and get started Hello warriors.
- 0:33Hello, healers.
- 0:34Welcome back to the podcast.
- 0:36in the.
- 0:37Episode before this, I discussed the changes that are coming to our practice and how I'm pivoting from focusing on people's got an in having them lose weight a hundred percent to focus into menopause and helping people balance the hormones.
- 0:52And also.
- 0:53Gain in the house and body back.
- 0:56And, and I've been getting some questions as of why you want to do menopause now, like.
- 1:00What's going on with menopause.
- 1:02What is it to you?
- 1:03So to speak that the gen Z menopause.
- 1:05and I discussed you all, how I'm getting so many patients that are coming to my practice.
- 1:10With hormonal imbalance, they come into me for gut, Because they know me for gut issues.
- 1:14I help them with the gut issues.
- 1:16I have them eliminate at least 90% of the symptoms.
- 1:19They are happy.
- 1:20They have way more energy than they did.
- 1:23They lost way more weight than they did.
- 1:25They have the, you know, more cognitive function than they did.
- 1:29They are literally happy in the body they have, but they always ask me what after J what can you do for my hot flashes?
- 1:36What can you do for my nice sweat?
- 1:37My moods are very treatable.
- 1:39I have lack of concentration, right?
- 1:41Lack of motivation, poor concentration.
- 1:43I'm still having some brain fog here and there.
- 1:45I would like to lose a little bit more weight.
- 1:48I lost.
- 1:48I know 10, 20, 35 pounds, but I still have some more way to do what should I do with this midsection in my abdomen?
- 1:55Or my period is irregular, I'm going through the changes that the J I'm having that have, you know, Muscle cramping and or having the image Yosis, it's painful to have sex with my partner.
- 2:06How can you help me?
- 2:08And in the past I've been telling them, oh, you know, just, I don't know.
- 2:12And that's just violence.
- 2:13Go to your gyno and have that your gyno balance, your hormones.
- 2:17And, see how it goes and they'll do so they'll go to the gynecologist, have.
- 2:22Evaluation.
- 2:23By the doctor and then they'll get put on hormonal treatment.
- 2:27Synthetic fake.
- 2:28Dangerous.
- 2:29Facts.
- 2:30They come on or treatments that are not working and what I've seen the most.
- 2:34And this population, my menopause population is that people are not being managed.
- 2:38Or monitored properly.
- 2:39They get put in homeowner treatments and that's it.
- 2:42Here you all.
- 2:42Goodbye.
- 2:43You're cured.
- 2:44Don't come back.
- 2:45But they are suffering.
- 2:46They are doing everything simple.
- 2:48Some people got pallets and palace is terrible, but like the creams, vaginal creams they are using, or the transit.
- 2:55Demo equipment they're using, but yet nobody's really having them come.
- 2:59On a monthly basis or every, you know, communicate with them on a weekly basis to see.
- 3:04How the symptoms are improved, eliminating.
- 3:08If they underwrite.
- 3:09Homeowner.
- 3:10Treatment, they just get put on hormonal treatments and that's it.
- 3:13And of course this is conventional conventional give you medications and you don't know when to stop the medications.
- 3:19When is the end date of the medication you get put on it?
- 3:21That's it.
- 3:22Any questions continue taking the medication until you die.
- 3:24So that's the same thing with the hormonal.
- 3:26Population is that we get the hamano.
- 3:29Maybe you getting more estrogen and progesterone.
- 3:32Maybe you get in pedestrian only that IUD is pedestrian.
- 3:35Only, or maybe you get in a balance, a combination, but it's not.
- 3:38Truly identical to the levels that you have, To your body to give you the symptoms.
- 3:44Some people are still suffering.
- 3:46And there are so many talks out there about home homeowner treatment causing cancer.
- 3:50And this was a main reason why I was shying away from helping people, but not as we were learning, that's not true.
- 3:57It is not true at all.
- 3:58And I can do a whole podcast about that.
- 4:00How people get breast cancer.
- 4:02or stroke or a heart attack.
- 4:05After they start in.
- 4:07Estrogen.
- 4:07There's a whole mechanism behind this.
- 4:09It's not because the estrogen is causing, the stroke or the heart attack or the breast cancer it's because you had plaques already laid out there, or you had cancer cells that were already brewing, and now you have this estrogen in your body is just moving things along.
- 4:24So it's kind of.
- 4:25increasing things because estrogen can also be a growth hormone.
- 4:27For some people, but that's another.
- 4:30That is another episode we can talk about.
- 4:32But I, as I mentioned before in the previous.
- 4:36Podcast.
- 4:36I'm about to go into perimenopausal.
- 4:38And if I'm being honest with you, I'm scared.
- 4:40Because I do love my life now.
- 4:43And I've worked so hard in decreasing my symptoms and healing myself and getting rid of my digestive issues.
- 4:49And.
- 4:49Not looking pregnant all the time and have more energy and more brain cognitive function.
- 4:54Alertness and I've worked so hard.
- 4:56And now for society to tell me as I'm going to perimenopausal and as I am fully menopause.
- 5:02I'm going to have more issues.
- 5:04So the way I see it.
- 5:06Another for me to prevent all these terrible symptoms that people are being told that are normal, that are not normal is to pre-gaming many night is to start balancing my hormones.
- 5:16Now.
- 5:17Let's see.
- 5:17What home was it?
- 5:18A declining slowly.
- 5:20And start bringing them up.
- 5:22And when I say homophones, I'm talking about your sex hormones, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone.
- 5:26and also looking at two a D H E a R N D Jan.
- 5:29These hormones, I want to make sure that these things are balanced and have a nice healthy dose.
- 5:34But another reason I want to really focus on menopause because every woman who survives the middle age stage of life would experience menopause.
- 5:42This is more like more than half of the population.
- 5:45Usually when you age between.
- 5:4740.
- 5:48And 52 that's when you go into menopause and people can go into menopause all the way up to 60 something years old.
- 5:56Well, the Y populations are projected to age over there.
- 5:59The upcoming decades with the number of women aged 50 years and older expected, I expected to grow significantly.
- 6:07And the 1990s, 471 million woman world wide, where age, at least 50 years old.
- 6:16In 1990.
- 6:17471 million of people went into menopause.
- 6:21In 2015.
- 6:22This number increased by 82%.
- 6:25That's 861 million in 2015, 2015.
- 6:30Which correspond to a 2.4% increase per year and average.
- 6:35So what does that mean?
- 6:35Not us.
- 6:36You that's listening to this podcast.
- 6:38We're going to menopause.
- 6:39What are you going to menopause happy?
- 6:41Or you can go to men or boys struggling and sad and in despair and disappointed and feeling like you're broken.
- 6:48You're going through menopause.
- 6:48My friend.
- 6:49So bad at year of 2020, which is when 2020 now.
- 6:51we didn't even report the number of us women who will be age at least 50 years is estimated to be 64 million.
- 6:59So right now.
- 7:00It's more than 64 million.
- 7:02People going through menopause.
- 7:03This population is huge.
- 7:05And it's expected to grow to 90 million in 2060.
- 7:09So how many of us are going to suffer with all the side effects of menopause?
- 7:13You see how important menopause is, how we should really focus on healing.
- 7:18Our bodies focused on addressing the symptoms so we can have the life that we deserve because 90 millions of people were going through menopause.
- 7:25The overall life expectancy for us females is 81.2 years old, 81.2.
- 7:33That's the life expectancy.
- 7:3581.2.
- 7:36Which hasn't been changed since 2012.
- 7:38So we are going to go through menopause.
- 7:40The survival from age 50 to 80 in the us is estimated to be 67.2 and 2013.
- 7:47So we are living longer.
- 7:49We're going to live into 80 something years old.
- 7:51According to the us census bureau Study the population where you going to go, like 64 million of us going to go into menopause.
- 8:00So it is very important.
- 8:02That we really take this matter into consideration.
- 8:05If you want to not again, be miserable.
- 8:08You cannot, at the end of the day, we're not going to die.
- 8:10We're just going to suffer.
- 8:12Which is going to suffer.
- 8:13So people who survive to age 50, I expected to live an average of 33.3 more years.
- 8:20Wow.
- 8:21With increasing life expectancy, many women will spend up to 40% of the lives in post-menopausal.
- 8:28With more than 60% surviving, at least until the age of 80.
- 8:32For me, I want to live to be a 90, to be 90.
- 8:34I want to live to be 90 years old, a hundred years old.
- 8:37To be honest with you.
- 8:38So that's why I'm pre-gaming to address all these menopausal symptoms.
- 8:41Make sure my body's into homeostasis.
- 8:43Balancing my hormones taking care of my brain.
- 8:46So I don't have dementia because estrogen has a lot to do with that as well.
- 8:49Taking care of my body.
- 8:51But we need to really pay attention to this.
- 8:54Menopause is viewed as an important stage in a woman's life.
- 8:58Characterized by changes in bleeding patterns, hormone levels.
- 9:03Body composition, psychological wellbeing.
- 9:06and a standard we productive staging system.
- 9:09And.
- 9:10Except the menopause terminology are critical to advance for doctors and researchers to understand, and that's what we need to do as doctors, we need to understand what menopause means to different people, because some people have the knife.
- 9:23Nice sweat.
- 9:23I have flashes some people don't they just feel like they're going crazy and they don't know why they are depressed.
- 9:29They don't know why they have anxiety.
- 9:31They don't know why they're crying.
- 9:32They don't know why they have no lack of desire, things that they love to do.
- 9:35Poor concentration, lack of motivation.
- 9:38Like they just not thriving in the lives.
- 9:41And that is menopause.
- 9:43So it is very important that we take this in consideration.
- 9:47Again, what you do today will set you up for success.
- 9:50Three.
- 9:51Years from now.
- 9:52Three months from now.
- 9:54Even a month from now, depending on what you are doing, how much of it you're doing.
- 9:57So my goal moving forward is to to help.
- 10:00patients address the menopausal symptoms so that we don't fall victim, so that doctors and practitioners and society.
- 10:06And it'll tell us, oh, it's normal.
- 10:08It's normal for you to go into changes when it's not normal.
- 10:12They are like 85.
- 10:14Plus from what I understand, symptoms of menopause.
- 10:17And the number one reported symptoms of menopause is exhaustion.
- 10:21That we always tired.
- 10:22And which is the number on Newport is symptoms.
- 10:24When you have a viruses, which is a number of nobodies symptoms, when they have different illnesses.
- 10:28Auto immune conditions.
- 10:30So, what are we going to do when we have 64 millions of women?
- 10:34And I live up to be 80 something years old.
- 10:37And the life expectancy.
- 10:39It's extended.
- 10:40So I would love for you to join me on this movement.
- 10:43Of learning about your symptoms of learning about your body, of learning about your hormones.
- 10:48Which homeowners you need to focus on the most, which home when needs to be balanced the most and not accepting the level.
- 10:55You into menopause.
- 10:56Life is doomed.
- 10:57You need to go sit somewhere and this is why it is.
- 11:00Everybody goes through.
- 11:01This is part of aging.
- 11:03No, it's not, but an agent why sort of Asian is really thriving and we birth them because menopause to me.
- 11:09So we birth of a new life.
- 11:11Cause your productive organs can not give babies anymore.
- 11:14Your ovaries are done.
- 11:15In perimenopause or your ovaries is like, I'm done.
- 11:17I'm back.
- 11:18I'm done.
- 11:19I'm back.
- 11:19It's like I'm back.
- 11:20I'm done.
- 11:21So that's what I'm going to pause.
- 11:22So you have like a fluctuation of hormones up and down, up and down, but in post-menopausal you over, it's a done deal out of service.
- 11:29They're on vacation and permanent.
- 11:30Like definitely they're not coming back.
- 11:32So does that mean that we just sit and suffer and go through all the hormonal changes?
- 11:37No.
- 11:37You don't have to really deal with the hot flashes.
- 11:40You don't have to really deal with all the mood swings, although it would ability.
- 11:43The, you know, each ness in the vagina area, dryness painful intercourse.
- 11:49Like skin changes, mood changes, brain changes, You don't have to deal with any of that in menopause.
- 11:54We can offset all of that so we can have a beautiful life.
- 11:59And then when we're ready to go.
- 12:00We're just going to go lay in bed.
- 12:02And go.
- 12:03With no pains, no suffering.
- 12:04Because having menopause.
- 12:07Doesn't mean like you have to suffer, you still can be active.
- 12:10I can need to be active.
- 12:12And you need to be thriving and you deserve a life that is not painful.
- 12:17That is not.
- 12:18Sad that is not, That is not the way not struggling.
- 12:22A life that is beautiful.
- 12:23Because when you go into menopause again, it's new beginning to get to do whatever when it's joy and happiness to your life.
- 12:30But I wanted to do this episode to show you the importance of focusing on menopause.
- 12:35Because as we are getting older, we are aging.
- 12:38A lot of people are going to go to menopause.
- 12:40A lot of people are going to go through menopause and some of them are being told it's normal.
- 12:43Do nothing and suffer.
- 12:45Oh, they are not accepted.
- 12:46Not people like myself.
- 12:47No, it's not normal.
- 12:48Because I have proven evidence.
- 12:50People are balancing the hormones and they are thriving.
- 12:52So why should I settle for less?
- 12:54I'm going to fight until I'm done.
- 12:55So, if you want to be part of this movement, but of this journey, I would love to invite you.
- 13:00And I would love for you to invite others.
- 13:02And let them know that, Hey.
- 13:04The old way of your menopause is gone.
- 13:07We're going to take matters into our hands.
- 13:08We're going to educate ourselves.
- 13:10We're going to stand up for what we believe for what we deserve and not.
- 13:13Accept.
- 13:14What society told us.
- 13:16And not settle for less.
- 13:18All right so i'll see you on the next episode thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for listening to this episode.
