GIANTS POSTCAST: Matt "TUGBOAT" Wilkinson, Giants Relievers Combine for SHUTOUT
The San Francisco Giants took down the Cleveland Guardians in a combined shutout in starting pitcher Matt Wilkinson's MLB debut, final score 1-0 at Progressive Field. The win is especially sweet for Matt Wilkinson, affectionately known as "Tugboat," as he came up in the Cleveland Guardians organization before being traded to the San Francisco Giants in the Patrick Bailey deal earlier this season. Dylan Smith and Adrian Houser both were lights out in relief today, and the one run the San Francisco Giants scratched across in the 4th inning proved to be enough to get the win.
