Grant Fire Contained, Road Still Closed
A grass fire dubbed the Grant Fire erupted in Rancho Cordova Saturday afternoon, burning 16 acres near Douglas and Grant Line roads. Though firefighters contained it quickly and no homes were damaged, Grant Line Road remains closed between Chrysanthy Blvd and Douglas Rd—no reopening date yet.
