- 0:03Speaker 2: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret. Apparently the kid Candicelow
- 0:05Speaker 2: pass producer poo and if you've got a secret, you
- 0:07Speaker 2: let us know anytime you want. Eight three three seven
- 0:09Speaker 2: eight seven one oh two nine. By the way, we're
- 0:11Speaker 2: also voting. You're voting because we had some drama from
- 0:14Speaker 2: last weeks. One of last week's Dirty Little Secret where
- 0:17Speaker 2: the guy well, he proposed Friday to his ex girlfriend
- 0:20Speaker 2: of five years, but to do that, he had a
- 0:22Speaker 2: break up with this current girlfriend of nine months. Okay,
- 0:25Speaker 2: and the proposal was beautiful. It was what I didn't
- 0:28Speaker 2: tell anybody is that day on Friday is the girl
- 0:31Speaker 2: he just dumped to reached out to me on DMS
- 0:34Speaker 2: and she wanted to go on the air and tell
- 0:36Speaker 2: her side of the story. And I'm gonna let you
- 0:38Speaker 2: decide whether we put her on the air or not.
- 0:39Speaker 2: And some people are like, what do you mean? Why
- 0:41Speaker 2: would you even question it? Why? Because I felt bad
- 0:44Speaker 2: because I didn't want to ruin this guy's moment. Yeah,
- 0:48Speaker 2: I didn't mention it Friday because I definitely thought that
- 0:50Speaker 2: would ruin the proposal that day. I would have I
- 0:52Speaker 2: wish you would have told me still, but it definitely
- 0:54Speaker 2: would have. I know, well, I didn't want to tell
- 0:56Speaker 2: you because I knew you were gonna be like, put
- 0:57Speaker 2: her on. Who cares? Put her out? You would have
- 0:59Speaker 2: been like, let's go, which I get it, but I'm
- 1:01Speaker 2: gonna let the listeners decide. You're the fourth member of
- 1:03Speaker 2: the show. Officially, we have no budget for you, so
- 1:06Speaker 2: we can't pay you to be on the show, but
- 1:08Speaker 2: you are, so go vote on whether I should or not.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I haven't checked the poll, but it's at mix one
- 1:14Speaker 2: O two nine FM on Instagram at mix one O
- 1:16Speaker 2: two nine FM. If you say so, I'm gonna put
- 1:18Speaker 2: her on. But she wrote me a DMS like I'm
- 1:20Speaker 2: gonna tell my side of the story. This is hysterical,
- 1:22Speaker 2: So I don't know what's hysterical. She didn't say because
- 1:24Speaker 2: he didn't say anything bad about her.
- 1:26Speaker 3: No, not at all.
- 1:27Speaker 2: He's being very nice and respectful, but he just didn't
- 1:29Speaker 2: really talk about her a lot. And she got dumped
- 1:31Speaker 2: four days before Valentine's Day. Kind of sucked either way.
- 1:35Speaker 2: So go vote, will decide. We'll let you know seven
- 1:37Speaker 2: thirty tomorrow if we're going to have her on tomorrow
- 1:39Speaker 2: when I see the final results of the poll. Now
- 1:42Speaker 2: you have a secret too, what's going on?
- 1:44Speaker 1: I'm calling because I have a confession obviously, okay, and
- 1:48Speaker 1: I already know how this sounds, but I need you
- 1:49Speaker 1: to listen to me here. I don't use dating apps.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I really hate them. Everything feels filtered, rehearsed, and it
- 1:56Speaker 1: just it's so fake. So what I do instead is
- 2:00Speaker 1: I use Facebook Marketplace.
- 2:02Speaker 2: You is that where you sell stuff? Yeah? I mean
- 2:08Speaker 2: Facebook Marketplayer. Yeah, it's awesome.
- 2:10Speaker 3: You means a dating section on there?
- 2:12Speaker 2: Though? Is there there's a dating see a Facebook dating
- 2:15Speaker 2: is yeah, but not Facebook Marketplace. That's different. But you
- 2:17Speaker 2: use Facebook Marketplace? Yeah?
- 2:19Speaker 1: I mean all I do is scroll Marketplace the same,
- 2:22Speaker 1: you know, the same way other women who scroll on
- 2:24Speaker 1: hens like you know, you click on profiles. I see
- 2:26Speaker 1: if they're cute, you know, if they're single, and then
- 2:28Speaker 1: I look at what they're selling.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Oh wow, okay, this is yeah, that's so you just
- 2:36Speaker 2: kind of go through profiles to see if someone's cute,
- 2:40Speaker 2: and then if they're selling something, what do you do?
- 2:41Speaker 2: You I mean reach out or.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Well, I message them like a normal buyer. Would you know?
- 2:47Speaker 1: I act interested? I asked questions and if the vibe
- 2:49Speaker 1: fields right, I'll you know, I will actually buy something
- 2:52Speaker 1: just to have a reason to meet up in real life.
- 2:54Speaker 1: But here's the thing. It works. You see the real
- 2:57Speaker 1: side of people. No cliche bios, no cheesy nothing like that.
- 3:01Speaker 2: This is hysterical. I do know Facebook. Wow, I do
- 3:06Speaker 2: know people who have met on you know, Facebook, marketplace
- 3:10Speaker 2: or I don't know if it was Facebook, marketplace or Craigslist,
- 3:12Speaker 2: Like they met up to meet on like random sale, yes,
- 3:16Speaker 2: and then they ended up going out on a date.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I never thought it would be strategic, but this is
- 3:20Speaker 2: something you do. You know, it does make sense because
- 3:22Speaker 2: it does seem like it would be more organic, yeah,
- 3:25Speaker 2: than like a dating app. Because I've never been on
- 3:27Speaker 2: a dating app. I can't even imagine how awful they are.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Same.
- 3:30Speaker 1: It's honestly amazing though, because here's the thing. I've had
- 3:33Speaker 1: so many great dates this way, including this one guy
- 3:36Speaker 1: we actually dated for six months and he was really great,
- 3:39Speaker 1: Like he just wasn't like you know, the one so
- 3:41Speaker 1: you any regrets.
- 3:42Speaker 2: So you actually found a guy that you dated for
- 3:44Speaker 2: and he was a decent guy.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Yeah, he was great, And you know, I really thought
- 3:49Speaker 1: about it. I just don't find this creepy at all.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I think it's really smart.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I'm going to be honest, like I'm gonna encourage other
- 3:55Speaker 1: women to do this.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I'll be honest though, if it was if it was
- 3:58Speaker 2: a guy doing this, I think women would call I'm creepy. Yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 2: because there might be a little double standard going on
- 4:03Speaker 2: here also, like.
- 4:04Speaker 1: The products that women sell and the products that men sell.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I mean some probably overlap, like furniture and things like that.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Sure, but weird.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I mean, the only time I've been on there, they
- 4:13Speaker 3: always say kind of it seems kind of shady.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I bought a.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Football helmet there one time, and they were like, it's
- 4:18Speaker 3: it's gonna be on the front door, and you know,
- 4:20Speaker 3: I didn't see who I was purchasing it from.
- 4:23Speaker 2: And stuff like usually you meet up like done it,
- 4:25Speaker 2: he does it, and like they meet up that big stuff.
- 4:28Speaker 2: I've done it multiple times. I've always met up with
- 4:29Speaker 2: the person selling. I've never had him leave it for me.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Yeah, So what.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Kind of shady stuff that I'm just saying. I don't
- 4:36Speaker 2: think that was a football helmet, so okay. I mean,
- 4:41Speaker 2: and you can also probably see on their profile, if
- 4:43Speaker 2: they're married or single or yeah where they were sitting.
- 4:47Speaker 1: There in you already know where they live, you can
- 4:49Speaker 1: you know, you know what their house looks like, and
- 4:51Speaker 1: you know what. Hey, at least they can commit to
- 4:52Speaker 1: a price and a meeting time. That's more than I
- 4:54Speaker 1: can say for a lot of other men out there.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Sorry, guys, I feel you on that. So what is
- 5:01Speaker 2: the weird part? Is? You have to buy stuff? So
- 5:03Speaker 2: what do you buy? And? Yeah, you have to I
- 5:05Speaker 2: guess you have to try to use or some search
- 5:07Speaker 2: a product.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Right if you're looking for it. Yeah, okay, So the
- 5:11Speaker 1: most random thing I've ever bought just to meet a guy.
- 5:13Speaker 1: It was a power drill for forty dollars and I
- 5:16Speaker 1: actually don't need it. I'll tell you this. I still
- 5:19Speaker 1: have the drill and I got a great date out
- 5:21Speaker 1: of it.
- 5:21Speaker 2: And you date the guy. Okay, Ye, you can just
- 5:25Speaker 2: resell the drill later, Yeah for sixty make some money
- 5:28Speaker 2: some mother dude. Right, this might be a genius move.
- 5:31Speaker 2: I don't know if maybe I should do this.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Yeah, let's try to hook you up on marketplace?
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah what do I need? I mean something you could buy?
- 5:42Speaker 2: Maybe let's try with producer, give you some furniture. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 2: we'll have you, like, maybe go someone what is what
- 5:51Speaker 2: women sell on there? Everything? Right? Are you never on there?
- 5:53Speaker 2: But yeah, I'm sure there's I'll try to find you
- 5:55Speaker 2: a Facebook marketplace date and then we'll reach out to her.
- 5:58Speaker 2: It looks like a piece of art or something. Yes,
- 6:00Speaker 2: like that, you might actually like, I'm already creeped out. Actually, man,
- 6:06Speaker 2: thank you so much. You are awesome, and keep us
- 6:08Speaker 2: updated on what's going on, because that's hysterical.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I thanks for having me, guys,
