- 0:06Speaker 1: Good morning. Hi, how are you welcome back to the
- 0:08Speaker 1: Give Them All a Podcast? It is yours truly with
- 0:11Speaker 1: my right and left arm, Easton, Birmingham, Welcome. Hey, today's funky,
- 0:17Speaker 1: I know for all of us, but especially.
- 0:20Speaker 2: You, today's a weird one. My man, do you think
- 0:24Speaker 2: he'll be.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Able to get through the podcast?
- 0:28Speaker 2: If I do need to step away, it is because
- 0:30Speaker 2: like I'm dry heaving. Okay I am, yeah, I'm reliving it,
- 0:36Speaker 2: but like everything just feels tight. I can't breathe at times,
- 0:39Speaker 2: and that's why I'm dry heaving, because I'm forgetting to breathe.
- 0:42Speaker 2: And yeah, okay, but I feel good. I feel good.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Today is the seventh anniversary of our dad's passing, and
- 0:55Speaker 1: we talk about this every year. We talk about it
- 0:57Speaker 1: every birthday that comes and goes. But Easton is the
- 1:00Speaker 1: one that found my dad and so it's just like
- 1:04Speaker 1: a even though it's been seven years. We talked about
- 1:06Speaker 1: it on his birthday as well, that it's just reliving emotions.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and so we love you, thank you. Because there
- 1:16Speaker 2: is one thing that also eats me alive, and it
- 1:19Speaker 2: was the phone call I made to mom. Oh, and
- 1:22Speaker 2: I wish I would avoided it. Better. But boy, oh boy,
- 1:25Speaker 2: was I not there? Yeah, you know I wish I
- 1:28Speaker 2: could have done that for her.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Right, but yeah, that was it, just like very matter
- 1:33Speaker 1: of fact.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I mean I didn't you know, I walked into his
- 1:38Speaker 2: room thinking I was going to go to breakfast with him, right,
- 1:41Speaker 2: and then once I that all happened, Like I honestly
- 1:45Speaker 2: don't even remember calling mom. Yeah.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Yeah, so no, I feel like I'm gonna throw up.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Like that's what I'm saying, like talking about it, like
- 1:54Speaker 2: everything is just like I can't release. Yeah, for whatever reason.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I'm hoping to do it. The podcast today will help us,
- 2:01Speaker 1: like get our minds right.
- 2:03Speaker 2: The family hug in the this morning helped. Yeah, good
- 2:07Speaker 2: family energy around. Yeah no, that really did help me.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Like I am going to dry heave today, like there's
- 2:12Speaker 2: just no doubt about it because of just the tents.
- 2:17Speaker 1: You need to find a tree to hug, maybe like
- 2:19Speaker 1: a tree that's been around for a while. I don't
- 2:21Speaker 1: know where we're going to find one of those in LA.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Did you know that I want to get a tree
- 2:25Speaker 2: tattooed on me? I was telling, uh my buddy Tapple, Okay, Taylor,
- 2:32Speaker 2: he was We went camping once and it was the
- 2:35Speaker 2: darkest time, and me and him would like walk up
- 2:39Speaker 2: into the woods and look down at our campsite. We
- 2:42Speaker 2: were on mushrooms as well.
- 2:46Speaker 1: There's the community relief that we all needed.
- 2:49Speaker 2: But like, it was such a dark campground that we
- 2:52Speaker 2: were in and it was just four of us. Yeah,
- 2:54Speaker 2: but like it was so dark, and there was just
- 2:56Speaker 2: this beautiful tree. So every time I was dark, like
- 3:00Speaker 2: feeling dark, I would walk up and hug the tree
- 3:02Speaker 2: and sit next to it and just hug the other one.
- 3:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna try to find it and get that the
- 3:07Speaker 2: exact tree I was hugging tattooed on my back.
- 3:09Speaker 1: That's beautiful.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Thank you, it's saving. I think about that tree often
- 3:14Speaker 2: as often as my dad really.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Go i'd say, you're doing great so far. For those
- 3:20Speaker 1: of you asking about us recording from home, the reason
- 3:23Speaker 1: we're recording from home is we are getting into a
- 3:28Speaker 1: new studio. And we've talked about how anytime someone tells
- 3:32Speaker 1: you yeah, we'll be in in three months, just plan six.
- 3:35Speaker 1: If they say six months, plan a year, just like
- 3:37Speaker 1: double the time. So we are recording from home until
- 3:41Speaker 1: I'd like everything is good to go.
- 3:44Speaker 2: I ain't mad about it. Our poor producers, though, I
- 3:48Speaker 2: will hats off and thank you guys. And no one
- 3:52Speaker 2: is more excited than them.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I know, truthfully, because they they arrive and it's like
- 4:00Speaker 1: going ocean screaming, baby wakes up. It's just like a lot.
- 4:03Speaker 1: And I'm like, can we hear that?
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah? They're like we don't. Yes, you stupid bitch. Can
- 4:11Speaker 2: you hear that? Yes? Then there's your answer.
- 4:15Speaker 1: So before we get into all of the goodness, I
- 4:20Speaker 1: think the whole thing is interesting, like what we're going
- 4:22Speaker 1: to talk about today, but I want to talk about
- 4:24Speaker 1: Mom and I going to the dermatologists last week. So
- 4:28Speaker 1: we arrive, I go to it's called LACA. I just
- 4:34Speaker 1: call it lack of Dermatology. It's in the valley and
- 4:36Speaker 1: they're absolutely spectacular. But I went in just to get
- 4:41Speaker 1: the body scanned, to make sure everything is all good.
- 4:44Speaker 1: No moles that are like trying to wreak havoc on me.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Same with Mom. Mom comes from the generation of like
- 4:52Speaker 1: tanning beds and not wearing SPF and covering yourself in
- 4:55Speaker 1: baby oil and like using tinfoil to get the sun
- 4:57Speaker 1: to really reflect off of that.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Nothing a lot more than a woman that looks like
- 5:02Speaker 2: an old catcher's mint.
- 5:04Speaker 1: That is so rude and beyond like the look of it.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Who even cares about that? It's more about like what's
- 5:12Speaker 1: happening underneath. So Dad, Back when I was eighteen and
- 5:17Speaker 1: I had to take Dad to get some cancer removed
- 5:20Speaker 1: off of his middle finger, and like waiting in the
- 5:23Speaker 1: waiting room, and I was told by Mom because she
- 5:25Speaker 1: was working, she was like, just take him in. They're
- 5:27Speaker 1: just gonna like scrape it and like just be on
- 5:30Speaker 1: his way. I was like, all right, sounds intense. So
- 5:33Speaker 1: I take him and it's taking a way long time.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that's because they were digging around his right but
- 5:40Speaker 2: I was just ligaments in his finger, but.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I didn't know that. So then they the doctor comes
- 5:45Speaker 1: in and they're like, hey, so there is a high
- 5:48Speaker 1: chance that we're going to have to remove the entire finger.
- 5:51Speaker 1: The skin cancer is way deeper than we originally expected.
- 5:57Speaker 2: And I'm looking at my dad. Almost didn't have a thing.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Yeah, And so I'm like calling mom over and over.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Finally she answers, like, bro, you sent me here with
- 6:07Speaker 1: Dad to just like take him to get a little scrapage.
- 6:09Speaker 1: And now they're coming and telling me that they're gonna
- 6:12Speaker 1: possibly remove the whole finger, Like I cannot mentally handle this,
- 6:16Speaker 1: so I'm gonna need back up, thank you. So anyway,
- 6:19Speaker 1: he didn't lose his finger. They did like a skin
- 6:21Speaker 1: grap where they took skin from his thigh. That was
- 6:24Speaker 1: really my first experience with like the word skin cancer
- 6:28Speaker 1: and how deep and dark it can go. Right, So, Mom,
- 6:34Speaker 1: I definitely wanted her checked because she's covered head to
- 6:37Speaker 1: toe from getting in the sun like that. But I'm
- 6:40Speaker 1: talking to my doctor, doctor Saul or is it Sal
- 6:45Speaker 1: Sal Sal? I just call him doc, say what's that?
- 6:48Speaker 2: Doc?
- 6:50Speaker 1: But I asked him about Teddy Mellencamp, and I just said,
- 6:55Speaker 1: have you heard of her? Like, who hasn't unless you've
- 6:58Speaker 1: been living under a rock. But he said that Teddy
- 7:02Speaker 1: Mellencamp has single handedly changed the dermatology game based off
- 7:08Speaker 1: of obviously her story, but her being such a voice
- 7:12Speaker 1: on how important it is for you to go and
- 7:14Speaker 1: get checked and scanned on a regular basis to make
- 7:18Speaker 1: sure everything is okay. And he said the amount of
- 7:22Speaker 1: people that come into this office because of her. He
- 7:26Speaker 1: was like, she has saved so many lives already. So
- 7:29Speaker 1: I just felt the need to text her and I
- 7:33Speaker 1: just let her know. I was like, you don't need
- 7:34Speaker 1: to respond to this, but like, it's important to know that,
- 7:37Speaker 1: during the fight of your life, how many lives you
- 7:39Speaker 1: have actually saved.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, I feel like you saying that, even if
- 7:43Speaker 2: she doesn't respond and other people are saying that, I
- 7:45Speaker 2: feel like in the back your mind that also pushes
- 7:49Speaker 2: you forward, you know, like knowing that yea, And that's
- 7:52Speaker 2: what kind of I think helps you get.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Better, right, Knowing that your journey is helping.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Some helping other people is going to help you.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Yeah, So mine, everything looked okay on me. I had
- 8:05Speaker 1: something removed on my arm. It came back totally normal.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Whatever he said, you may have to get it removed
- 8:10Speaker 1: again in like ten years if it comes back. Mom. However,
- 8:14Speaker 1: got a call from the doctor today. Oh, I know
- 8:17Speaker 1: the thing on her arm that we've been worried about.
- 8:20Speaker 1: It was like this, like almost like a wound that
- 8:25Speaker 1: wouldn't heal and kind of like crusty. I know that
- 8:28Speaker 1: sounds sorry trigger warning, but it also like when you
- 8:30Speaker 1: felt her arm, it was kind of lumpy, like it
- 8:33Speaker 1: felt like a knot. So they did major scraping with her,
- 8:37Speaker 1: but it came back as a squamous SCC. It's the
- 8:42Speaker 1: second most common type of skin cancer, starting in the
- 8:45Speaker 1: flat cells of the outer layer of the skin. So
- 8:50Speaker 1: they want to bring her back in, they want to
- 8:51Speaker 1: do another biopsy, they want to you know, broaden the
- 8:56Speaker 1: circumference of the scrape page, just to make sure that
- 9:00Speaker 1: all is good. It's gonna take like an hour to
- 9:02Speaker 1: an hour and a half.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I just walk in the house and Mom goes,
- 9:05Speaker 2: I have cancer.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Oh, Mom, Like, not a great way to start the morning,
- 9:10Speaker 1: especially on the shuncer. Well, yes, that's absolutely true, but
- 9:14Speaker 1: I wanted her like apparently it's the most common, like
- 9:19Speaker 1: this said, and treatable if you, you know, catch it
- 9:23Speaker 1: in time. But I think the whole point of me
- 9:25Speaker 1: talking about this is we're going into the summer months
- 9:29Speaker 1: where it's warm, and it's just so incredibly important you
- 9:33Speaker 1: guys to make sure that you put your sunscreen on.
- 9:38Speaker 1: You must apply every four hours. It does not last
- 9:41Speaker 1: all day. Make sure that you don't have I know,
- 9:45Speaker 1: we all want vitamin D, but like, don't sit outside
- 9:48Speaker 1: and bake. If you want a nice tan you know,
- 9:51Speaker 1: maybe get some some good santrope self tanner. Don't go
- 9:57Speaker 1: to the tanning beds, like it's a real thing, and
- 10:00Speaker 1: just please be out there and be safe and go
- 10:03Speaker 1: to the dermatologists for the love of God, please. Ocean
- 10:06Speaker 1: has a weird one on her head that I have
- 10:09Speaker 1: been getting checked right in her part. They said it's
- 10:15Speaker 1: fine right now, but she has to get it checked.
- 10:18Speaker 1: He wants to check it every six months. And he
- 10:20Speaker 1: said it't just make sure that you don't it doesn't
- 10:23Speaker 1: have direct sun exposure. Can I tell you a really
- 10:31Speaker 1: funny story?
- 10:31Speaker 2: I look so.
- 10:34Speaker 1: A while back, Ocean got this like Kylie Jenner Brat's
- 10:38Speaker 1: doll sent to her, and I was like, do I
- 10:40Speaker 1: give this to her? She was like two at the time.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I'm like, or is it going to cause like this weird?
- 10:46Speaker 1: This is what beauty looks like, like these big lips
- 10:49Speaker 1: and these like cat eyes. You know, I didn't know
- 10:53Speaker 1: as a parent. You're like, is this okay? I was
- 10:58Speaker 1: never into the Brat's dolls and they came out when
- 11:00Speaker 1: I was like older. But I mean I always wanted
- 11:03Speaker 1: to like wear makeup and didn't feel pretty and and
- 11:07Speaker 1: I don't want that for her. But she's not like
- 11:09Speaker 1: me at all. She can't she is not thin, but
- 11:15Speaker 1: she wanted to play doctor with the Kylie Jenner doll,
- 11:18Speaker 1: and so she rushes her in and I'm the doctor,
- 11:20Speaker 1: she's the mom, and I was like, oh my gosh,
- 11:23Speaker 1: something's wrong. Her hair is turning purple because she has
- 11:25Speaker 1: purple hair, and she's looking she's like, oh my gosh,
- 11:29Speaker 1: examining it. And she she comes up to me and
- 11:31Speaker 1: she goes, I know what's wrong. She's pregnant.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Did she deliver?
- 11:40Speaker 1: I don't know. I was so shocked that she thinks
- 11:43Speaker 1: that purple hair is like the side effect of pregnancy,
- 11:45Speaker 1: and I'm.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Like, I think, what did she see?
- 11:50Speaker 1: I thought it was so funny, so on the heels
- 11:52Speaker 1: of Ocean's mole on her head. It just reminded me
- 11:54Speaker 1: of like.
- 11:55Speaker 2: That I know what's wrong with her. And that's a
- 11:59Speaker 2: pretty accurate statement.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Because she's been pregnant a many times, well a whole
- 12:05Speaker 1: two by the way. She went to Travis Scott's Coachella
- 12:10Speaker 1: performance with Stormy and I was thinking, like, what a
- 12:14Speaker 1: weird life to have your baby daddy be this performer
- 12:19Speaker 1: where he's talking about like bad bitches and partying, and
- 12:23Speaker 1: do you take your like seven year old to that.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I don't know. I won't ever have to worry about it.
- 12:29Speaker 1: But I just wonder that, you know, like when you
- 12:31Speaker 1: see Northwest and Kim at like Kanye's performances well before
- 12:35Speaker 1: he went Craig Cray. But I'm like, you want your
- 12:39Speaker 1: child to see like how cool that is and what
- 12:42Speaker 1: her dad does for a living. But at the same time,
- 12:45Speaker 1: it's like, oh God, can we like maybe censor do you?
- 12:50Speaker 2: But do you do it while she's younger, because you don't.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Know to meratise her Easton Is that what we're saying?
- 12:55Speaker 2: No, because usually they got like their headphones on, they're
- 12:59Speaker 2: in a box. Well you see exact dad like doing something.
- 13:02Speaker 2: You don't know what he's saying. Yes, you may know
- 13:05Speaker 2: bad words, but like she can't put this sentence together.
- 13:09Speaker 1: She's seven.
- 13:10Speaker 2: No, I'm saying earlier because back a day in the
- 13:13Speaker 2: day she you know, and that's when I would honestly
- 13:17Speaker 2: take her not to I don't think it's desensitizing. You
- 13:20Speaker 2: go you see your dad perform once she's seven or eight.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Now she puts together paragraphs, and I'm telling you those
- 13:27Speaker 2: are not great paragraphs put together.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Not in the least. No, And that's why I wonder sometimes,
- 13:33Speaker 1: like do you take your kid to see it, or
- 13:35Speaker 1: is it a conversation that's had, like, hey, dad's a
- 13:38Speaker 1: performer and I talk about, you know, all of these
- 13:41Speaker 1: things in my songs, but just so you know, it's
- 13:43Speaker 1: just an art and like, I don't I don't know.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I guess it's the same question that people will say,
- 13:50Speaker 1: but let me much smaller scale. What are you going
- 13:52Speaker 1: to do when Ocean watches your show?
- 13:53Speaker 2: There you go. I was gonna ask you that when
- 13:55Speaker 2: will you allow her to watch her show if she
- 13:57Speaker 2: wants to?
- 13:58Speaker 1: Or the other day read was playing and I was like,
- 14:02Speaker 1: we have to turn this off. Ocean cannot see what
- 14:05Speaker 1: you did on television, not at the age of four. No,
- 14:08Speaker 1: I'd prefer not.
- 14:10Speaker 2: She'd just be like, that's my mom on TV. That's
- 14:13Speaker 2: actually where this is where I'm saying, like, she's not
- 14:17Speaker 2: going to listen to you and go, why did you
- 14:19Speaker 2: call that girl a bit? She's just watching when she's
- 14:23Speaker 2: seven or eight, she's going to pick up on like
- 14:25Speaker 2: I could go call my friends a bitch.
- 14:27Speaker 1: No, she's moved past the cuss words. Oddly enough, every
- 14:30Speaker 1: time she hears them, she is like appalled and can't
- 14:32Speaker 1: believe that anyone would say such an horrendous word.
- 14:35Speaker 2: I know she stopped ratting on me.
- 14:37Speaker 1: When you cuss. Yeah, probably because she got tired of
- 14:40Speaker 1: ratting you out.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Huh, eat them, join them?
- 14:45Speaker 1: Yeah, being a mom is hard, dude, Like the whole
- 14:48Speaker 1: thing ocean woke up, but she had hives. Excuse me,
- 14:52Speaker 1: she had hives all over her body last night. She
- 14:54Speaker 1: woke up today they were progressively worse. So I didn't
- 14:56Speaker 1: send her, to send her to school because I'm like,
- 14:58Speaker 1: I don't know what this is. I don't want the
- 15:00Speaker 1: school calling me being like w tf.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Mate.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Sosa on the way to Palm Springs had a massive blowout.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I had to throw away her clothing. I now have
- 15:09Speaker 1: to put like a mat in her car seat because
- 15:14Speaker 1: that positioning makes her go to the bathroom and it's
- 15:18Speaker 1: and it's master. Then, on the way home from Palm Springs,
- 15:21Speaker 1: I smelling something. I pull over to get gas. Look
- 15:26Speaker 1: in the back. Sure enough, her whole front is covered
- 15:28Speaker 1: in shit.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 15:31Speaker 1: And I'm like, why can't lose another onesie? She's not
- 15:34Speaker 1: gonna have any left.
- 15:35Speaker 2: She's just blowing through them.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Yes, and I don't want to keep buying them.
- 15:40Speaker 2: You're gonna have to from now one just buy a
- 15:42Speaker 2: little tan brown.
- 15:45Speaker 1: It's a mustard yellow that she.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Mustard yellow is a beautiful color on.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Building, and it was all over her legs.
- 15:52Speaker 2: This style yum stop it.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Sky pulled up behind us to get gas, and I
- 15:59Speaker 1: could tell he was deeply disturbed. How old was he
- 16:02Speaker 1: in his fifties.
- 16:03Speaker 2: He's probably like, that's why I didn't have kids, continued
- 16:07Speaker 2: to never have kids. That's exactly right, smart man.
- 16:11Speaker 1: You guys last week I went out twice. No she didn't, Yes,
- 16:14Speaker 1: I yes, I did, Yes I did. We were planning
- 16:19Speaker 1: to leave Thursday to go to Palm Springs. I then
- 16:23Speaker 1: get this invite to go to this Paris Hilton event.
- 16:29Speaker 1: She was Ellie Magazine's Woman of the Year. So I
- 16:34Speaker 1: decide that we're going to leave Friday night instead to
- 16:37Speaker 1: go to Palm Springs, which then makes it so I
- 16:40Speaker 1: can go with Brittany to downtown LA to see.
- 16:46Speaker 2: That is out. Yes, that means my head hurt.
- 16:50Speaker 1: That's out and about to go and see this.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Performer was amazing.
- 16:55Speaker 1: And we left it like I want to say, eight
- 16:57Speaker 1: o'clock at night and there was mad traffic still. So
- 17:01Speaker 1: we meet at Britney's house right and for anyone who
- 17:03Speaker 1: doesn't know, which I'm sure you guys do because you
- 17:06Speaker 1: guys have seen the shows that she's been on. Vander
- 17:08Speaker 1: Pump Rules the Valley. She is notorious for running all
- 17:13Speaker 1: sorts of late at all times. You tell her we
- 17:16Speaker 1: need to leave by seven. She hears seven and goes, Okay,
- 17:19Speaker 1: I need to start getting ready at seven. It's like no, no, no, no,
- 17:22Speaker 1: no no. At that house at seven, you're gonna need
- 17:26Speaker 1: to start glamor at a solid four thirty five o'clock. Girl,
- 17:29Speaker 1: with that hair, you should start at probably two, because you.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Got a lot of it, wake up and started you.
- 17:35Speaker 1: She's got a fantastic hairline.
- 17:37Speaker 2: What I she wouldn't give very beautiful lately.
- 17:41Speaker 1: So I take the massive Danali because you know, I'm
- 17:43Speaker 1: a mom with a GMC.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Now and I were like, this way, uber, this way No.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I warned people that the Matt black car outside is
- 17:50Speaker 1: not your uber. But I pick up Sheesh, I pick
- 17:53Speaker 1: up Jared, and I pick up Janet. We're hauling to
- 17:57Speaker 1: Britney's house. We arrive and there's this guy named Zach
- 18:05Speaker 1: Wickham and he is a friend of on the Valley right,
- 18:09Speaker 1: And I've always I've always liked Zac. I've never ever
- 18:14Speaker 1: had an issue with him, right, And I've only known
- 18:18Speaker 1: that he's had an issue with me because he comments
- 18:22Speaker 1: on these like little Mini Bravo accounts where he clearly
- 18:27Speaker 1: does not dig me, which I did not know that
- 18:30Speaker 1: because every time I've seen him he's been nice. You
- 18:33Speaker 1: know me, I've never had a fifty cent would say
- 18:35Speaker 1: I don't have a problem with a problem. Do we
- 18:37Speaker 1: have a problem. I'm okay with people having problems, but
- 18:41Speaker 1: I don't dig it when someone has a problem for free,
- 18:45Speaker 1: Like I don't understand what the beef is, like he's.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Got a problem with you off of other people's.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Opinions, I have no idea I have. You're just throwing
- 18:54Speaker 1: spaghetti at the wall. I couldn't tell you I have
- 18:57Speaker 1: zero clue because, to.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Be honest, I feel like I know him just because
- 19:03Speaker 2: everybody around knows him, you know, like Janet, all of them, right,
- 19:08Speaker 2: And I don't think I've ever met this guy maybe
- 19:10Speaker 2: once or twice at Brittany's for a party, and I
- 19:14Speaker 2: don't think i've ever spoken to him. So when I
- 19:16Speaker 2: tell you like, I'm yeah, throwing shit at the wall,
- 19:18Speaker 2: and I'm making shit up.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Okay, so he's there, He's going to this uh this performance, right,
- 19:26Speaker 1: and I'm like, of course, like the one night I
- 19:29Speaker 1: go out, I've got this guy showing up who like
- 19:32Speaker 1: clearly has an issue with me for no reason that
- 19:36Speaker 1: I know of, And I'm like, I'm just going to
- 19:40Speaker 1: avoid him and ignore him in a house full of
- 19:42Speaker 1: all of six people, Like I just won't acknowledge his
- 19:45Speaker 1: presence because I just want to have a good night.
- 19:48Speaker 1: And I don't even know what I'm what I would say,
- 19:50Speaker 1: like hear, do you have a problem with me? What? No,
- 19:54Speaker 1: Like I'm retired. I should be in bed looking at
- 19:57Speaker 1: my eyelids right now. Like I just don't have the
- 19:59Speaker 1: energy you or the stamina at that point in time.
- 20:01Speaker 1: So we go out and honestly, like towards the end
- 20:05Speaker 1: of the night, like we're laughing about this light, this
- 20:09Speaker 1: like light you know people take to take selfies with.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so many people are walking around with those things.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Now, Yeah, I know, I really like him. Actually, kids
- 20:17Speaker 1: was going up too high. I almost looked like a sheet,
- 20:20Speaker 1: like a white sheet.
- 20:21Speaker 2: I was like, we got it.
- 20:23Speaker 1: It was massive, and he like pulled it out of
- 20:24Speaker 1: the tiniest little pocket car so bright. But we were
- 20:29Speaker 1: laughing about that. We were laughing about like the most
- 20:32Speaker 1: random stuff. And I'm like, I don't understand this. This person,
- 20:36Speaker 1: this kid is literally beefing with himself in these low
- 20:40Speaker 1: level comments sections.
- 20:42Speaker 2: So he doesn't even have to you don't have to.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I don't understand. There's literally not a one reason in
- 20:49Speaker 1: the world. So that was an interesting thing that happened
- 20:51Speaker 1: that night.
- 20:52Speaker 2: That's I like that because I think about it that
- 20:55Speaker 2: you had fun.
- 20:57Speaker 1: I did have fun. I felt hung over the next
- 21:00Speaker 1: day though, and I had the Paris Hilton event at
- 21:02Speaker 1: eleven am.
- 21:03Speaker 2: I felt hungover after that event because you went with me.
- 21:07Speaker 1: But I have friend.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Oh it was great. I'm not gonna lie to you, guys.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Let's talk about it.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Let's talk about it.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I don't know about you guys, but great event, beautiful women.
- 21:22Speaker 2: And I was dying. My nose was on fire, on fire.
- 21:28Speaker 2: I would go into the bathroom to blow it. I
- 21:30Speaker 2: knew the the dude in front of the bathroom, what's there.
- 21:35Speaker 2: He was just like greeting people as they walked.
- 21:37Speaker 1: In and greet her.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I knew him by name. After the night
- 21:40Speaker 2: or the kid kept calling Yeah, I was like, hey, buddy,
- 21:42Speaker 2: like he probably thought I was in. We were like.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Probably one of the only straight men at the event,
- 21:46Speaker 1: so I was like, oh, another straight man. You were
- 21:49Speaker 1: the men's bathroom, saw it?
- 21:52Speaker 2: No one except I'm not kidding you. Every time I
- 21:54Speaker 2: did go in there, it was just me. Yeah. But
- 21:57Speaker 2: I would go in, blow my nose and go, okay,
- 21:58Speaker 2: I can go back out, and I would walk into
- 22:00Speaker 2: the event space again and just a plethora of perfume
- 22:04Speaker 2: would just wafted into my face.
- 22:07Speaker 1: You know. It's almost like you have to take like
- 22:09Speaker 1: your own little carton of Espress coffee beans, coffee beans
- 22:13Speaker 1: to sniff, and I'm gonna do that. Yeah, like when
- 22:17Speaker 1: you're testing perfumes at a department store that I in
- 22:21Speaker 1: between each one they have you.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Sniff, being the coffee beans.
- 22:25Speaker 1: But I did not even think about that until we left.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I was like wow, and I doused myself to make
- 22:30Speaker 1: sure that that. People were like, oh, she smells good.
- 22:33Speaker 1: She doesn't stink, thank god. But because everyone had on
- 22:36Speaker 1: such a different smell, it ended up just being a
- 22:39Speaker 1: migraine and a hole in the brain that.
- 22:40Speaker 2: I'm not kidding you. I left with a migraine. Let
- 22:43Speaker 2: I had to get in the shower.
- 22:46Speaker 1: You're talking about the reception area. Yeah, it was a
- 22:49Speaker 1: very confined space where like the pictures were well.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Yes, and then like the you know, I was just
- 22:55Speaker 2: walking with you, but the carpet with the interviews and
- 22:57Speaker 2: things like that, that was very tight with a lot
- 23:00Speaker 2: of people and just women. And at no point did
- 23:04Speaker 2: I and like was like, she smells amazing. I was like,
- 23:07Speaker 2: everybody smells like something flowers to blow my nose right now.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I was really happy that I pushed back the Palm
- 23:16Speaker 1: Springs trip to go to that event because I loved
- 23:20Speaker 1: that Number one who doesn't love Paris Hilton. And she's
- 23:22Speaker 1: like totally having the biggest of moments right now when
- 23:26Speaker 1: it comes to opening up about her experience going to
- 23:29Speaker 1: that weird camp in Utah and the trauma she experienced there.
- 23:35Speaker 1: She's killing it with her DJ career. She's just like
- 23:39Speaker 1: really kind of being a mom. I was thank you Easton,
- 23:43Speaker 1: Like you can just tell that she's come into her
- 23:45Speaker 1: own and she's really at this stage in her life
- 23:48Speaker 1: thriving in every area. So of course I wanted to
- 23:51Speaker 1: go and participate in watching her both celebrated.
- 23:55Speaker 2: She's I've always loved her.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and then you're in the Simple Wow. So Paris
- 24:02Speaker 1: shared that there was advice Kathy the Queen gave her
- 24:08Speaker 1: like the night before The Simple Life premiered on Fox,
- 24:10Speaker 1: and you guys, that show was life changing for so many.
- 24:14Speaker 1: My best friend in junior high, her name was Danielle.
- 24:18Speaker 1: We talked our science teacher into letting us do papers
- 24:22Speaker 1: together and we would sign in the names Paris and Nicole,
- 24:25Speaker 1: and we asked our science teacher if she her name
- 24:28Speaker 1: was missus Wood. We would ask her if we if
- 24:32Speaker 1: she could call us by those names in class.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Did she She did? Missus Wood? Where are you now?
- 24:38Speaker 1: She was so sweet, but she was one of those
- 24:40Speaker 1: women who was like, she was like no bs, but
- 24:44Speaker 1: incredibly warm at the same time, if that makes sense.
- 24:47Speaker 1: You know those people they're not warm and fuzzy, but
- 24:50Speaker 1: for some reason, they're just you feel comfortable. Yeah, Like
- 24:55Speaker 1: we asked her and she was like, and she would
- 24:58Speaker 1: flare her nostrils. If you insist, yes, I will do it.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Thank you, Missus Wood. Yep, get to your next class please,
- 25:07Speaker 1: I don't want you late. It's like miss Wood so
- 25:10Speaker 1: cut and dry, really really cool. So her mom, Paris's
- 25:15Speaker 1: mom said the night before Paris, when the show airs
- 25:18Speaker 1: on Fox tomorrow, your life is going to change forever,
- 25:21Speaker 1: and I always want you to be the same sweet,
- 25:23Speaker 1: down to earth girl you are, and never forget that.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Paris said that she's grateful for her amazing parents that
- 25:29Speaker 1: raise me to be the woman I am today. It's
- 25:32Speaker 1: so wild that you could come from a name like
- 25:35Speaker 1: Hilton and still maintain a level of like, well, just
- 25:41Speaker 1: gravity and being to connected to the earth. Because I
- 25:45Speaker 1: have to be honest, I don't know. There were times
- 25:49Speaker 1: in my life that I was extremely impressionable, And I
- 25:52Speaker 1: think if I had excessive amounts of family money, that
- 25:55Speaker 1: my head could have been in the clouds, don't you think. Yeah,
- 26:00Speaker 1: But maybe hers were back. Maybe her head was up
- 26:03Speaker 1: in the clouds back in the day, because the simple
- 26:06Speaker 1: life they run that is up in.
- 26:07Speaker 2: The clouds right there.
- 26:09Speaker 1: That show is how they like stole the mirror, throwing.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Bleach on pool tables, like, yes, that's unhinged shit.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Jared showed up because we took him. He's so fabulous.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Wish I had his height and damn.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Yeah me too, especially at the performance in downtown LA
- 26:26Speaker 1: because it was all standing. He saw everything and literally
- 26:28Speaker 1: you couldn't see past anyone's head. But then when you
- 26:31Speaker 1: finally found a pocket, you would just have a phone
- 26:34Speaker 1: go up, or maybe someone moved over that had a bun.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Jared was or Jared yeah and all.
- 26:41Speaker 1: We kept talking about because it was an hour set.
- 26:43Speaker 1: But you have to remember if he goes on at
- 26:45Speaker 1: nine thirty, that puts you at ten thirty. By that time,
- 26:48Speaker 1: I'm like in rem sleep. So we kept saying. He's like,
- 26:51Speaker 1: do you think we can leave now? He's like, you
- 26:53Speaker 1: really want to smash taco bell Like, so do I.
- 26:55Speaker 1: By the time we left, I was like, I don't
- 26:57Speaker 1: even have it in me to go through taco bells.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Drive through No, and that's that comes with heartburn at
- 27:02Speaker 2: that hour.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Well just for you, I need help, I know. And
- 27:06Speaker 1: you know what, also like, I'm not regular, so I'm
- 27:10Speaker 1: going to get a cool and oscopy at thirty five.
- 27:13Speaker 2: I don't think I ever need one. I'm just literally
- 27:17Speaker 2: a moving snort. That's so yummy.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Another weird thing that I put into my notes because
- 27:24Speaker 1: Jenna came over. Jenna Willis came over to train me
- 27:26Speaker 1: the other day. She was like, people are talking about
- 27:32Speaker 1: me in the comments section and a publicist sent it
- 27:35Speaker 1: to me. And I'm not going to say what blogs
- 27:37Speaker 1: sent it because sometimes they're nice, sometimes they're really rude,
- 27:40Speaker 1: and I just don't even want to give them attention.
- 27:42Speaker 1: But there's a rumor that I have to laugh because
- 27:48Speaker 1: it's just so up in the night. There's a rumor
- 27:53Speaker 1: that Jenna showed me and it's that Brock had an
- 27:55Speaker 1: emotional affair with her. Someone was like, Jenna's the one
- 28:00Speaker 1: that had an emotional affair with Brock, and I straight cackled.
- 28:06Speaker 1: It didn't happen. But it's like what mom always says,
- 28:10Speaker 1: paper takes inc You can literally put anything out there.
- 28:13Speaker 1: The problem is is once it's out there, there are
- 28:15Speaker 1: people that will believe it just to make you upset
- 28:17Speaker 1: that they believe it, even though they don't. Back to
- 28:20Speaker 1: the Denzel Washington, Karen Huger denied transfer to work release
- 28:26Speaker 1: program may potentially see November release. Who Karen Huger, Are
- 28:31Speaker 1: you joking the Grand.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Dam Yes, No, she's gonna get out earlier.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Yeah, right, did you see that bodycam footage? It was
- 28:41Speaker 1: not good.
- 28:44Speaker 2: She for those of you who forgot, I didn't see it.
- 28:47Speaker 1: She's like, she's like, do you even know who I
- 28:51Speaker 1: am in potently, this is never gonna touch me.
- 28:55Speaker 2: You know who I am.
- 28:55Speaker 1: He's like, no, I don't. On the grand dum, Andy Cohen.
- 28:59Speaker 1: You gave me that name, And he's like, who is
- 29:01Speaker 1: Andy Cohen? And then she starts talking more about and
- 29:06Speaker 1: she's like, I was Jefferson's concubine, which is a whore.
- 29:12Speaker 1: And he gets her out of the car and she
- 29:13Speaker 1: like stumbles and she goes, wow, I am lit. I
- 29:18Speaker 1: probably should have taken a cab. He's like, yeah, that
- 29:21Speaker 1: probably would have been a smart idea.
- 29:23Speaker 2: All of that.
- 29:25Speaker 1: You cannot, as a judge watch that body cam footage
- 29:29Speaker 1: and be like, you know what early release for you.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I just have a good feeling about this. It just
- 29:37Speaker 1: can't be done. It simply can't be done. Really well,
- 29:42Speaker 1: she blames it on her legal team. What she's blaming
- 29:46Speaker 1: it on her legal team? She fired her legal team.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Oh I don't know if and checked herself into a
- 29:52Speaker 1: rehabilitation center.
- 29:54Speaker 2: That'll look good, judge.
- 29:55Speaker 1: But is it too little, too late?
- 29:57Speaker 2: Fairly?
- 29:57Speaker 1: It is? It is. Let's move on, Coachella, Let's move on.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Can I tell you what I learned this weekend? It's
- 30:05Speaker 1: so Coachella is over. Coachella is over. I was there
- 30:09Speaker 1: during week two. I know I was there during week two.
- 30:13Speaker 1: I did not go to the festival. I went to
- 30:15Speaker 1: Wilman Frida's.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Oh Damn Cinnamon Rules.
- 30:18Speaker 1: They told me that, So Wilman Frieda's, you guys, is
- 30:23Speaker 1: right above Jimmy Bees. And Jimmy Bees is jim Bellino's restaurant.
- 30:28Speaker 1: If you guys don't know, that's Alexis Billinos from Real
- 30:31Speaker 1: Housewives of OC. It's her ex husband. He appeared in
- 30:34Speaker 1: earlier seasons. Right, he could not have been nicer. But
- 30:37Speaker 1: that's kind of like it's in downtown Palm Springs. So
- 30:41Speaker 1: Jimmy Bee is above very fun woman Frida's. Apparently they
- 30:47Speaker 1: have never had in all the years that they have
- 30:50Speaker 1: been open Willman Frieda's, they've never had a dine and
- 30:54Speaker 1: dasher during Coachella weekend. That weekend, second weekend alone, they
- 30:59Speaker 1: had four. Jimmy Bees had at least one.
- 31:04Speaker 2: They.
- 31:05Speaker 1: He also told me so Levi, who like hooks me
- 31:09Speaker 1: up at Wilman Frieda's. He said that it was all
- 31:14Speaker 1: over the news that it took eleven hours for people
- 31:19Speaker 1: to get into their campground at Coachella to where people
- 31:22Speaker 1: were shitting and ping on the side of the road
- 31:28Speaker 1: because if you think about that stretch, there's no houses,
- 31:32Speaker 1: there's no bathrooms, Like you're in pretty much the middle
- 31:35Speaker 1: of nowhere, while also being in the middle of everywhere
- 31:38Speaker 1: because it's Coachella, so.
- 31:41Speaker 2: I don't even like shitting in a stall. Well, they
- 31:46Speaker 2: were calling nine one one to shit.
- 31:47Speaker 1: People that were seeing it go down started calling nine
- 31:50Speaker 1: one one being like, people are defecating on the side
- 31:52Speaker 1: of the road. So Golden Voice had to apologize to
- 31:57Speaker 1: the city of Palm Springs, saying that next year they'll
- 32:01Speaker 1: do better and they'll be more organized to make sure
- 32:05Speaker 1: that people can get to where they need to be
- 32:08Speaker 1: in like a certain amount of time so that you
- 32:10Speaker 1: don't feel like you have to go poop on the
- 32:13Speaker 1: side of the road.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Well, we've all, I mean we've been to Coachella or
- 32:18Speaker 2: just even in the grounds, and I will say there's
- 32:20Speaker 2: many a streets that lead that way, and it's like
- 32:23Speaker 2: they gotta start like having passes. I mean, I guarantee
- 32:26Speaker 2: they do, but they got to start putting different roads
- 32:30Speaker 2: as a pass so when you get there, you're going
- 32:34Speaker 2: into different locations because that's where, honestly, I.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Think they're gonna have to start designating time slots to you.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Ooh, that's a really good idea as well.
- 32:41Speaker 1: We're gonna have to say like this is what time
- 32:43Speaker 1: you need to arrive at your your.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Well that and they need to or guess what else
- 32:48Speaker 2: they could do what open earlier, open the park earlier.
- 32:54Speaker 3: So yeah, so it opens on Thursday, but people start
- 32:57Speaker 3: lining up at like two thirty three am, like early
- 33:00Speaker 3: Thursday morning to get in. So those people who were
- 33:02Speaker 3: there at like two three in the morning didn't actually
- 33:05Speaker 3: get in until like three two in the afternoon that day.
- 33:09Speaker 2: So I mean, people, why are super open it? Why
- 33:11Speaker 2: not open it Wednesday night or you know even week two,
- 33:15Speaker 2: nothing's going on? Open it Tuesday?
- 33:18Speaker 1: Well they may so you can start getting Yeah, so
- 33:20Speaker 1: east and as people work, you have to like people
- 33:23Speaker 1: have jobs, no, and I get that, but you're gonna
- 33:25Speaker 1: have to take a chunk but a lot.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Of people, yeah, but a lot of people that I know,
- 33:29Speaker 2: they usually take off a week to go and do it.
- 33:32Speaker 2: So it's like, why would you not go and say,
- 33:34Speaker 2: you know what, let's just go in on Thursday? And
- 33:36Speaker 2: who knows how many people wanted to go there and
- 33:38Speaker 2: just like hang out in camp that went on.
- 33:41Speaker 1: They've got to definitely figure out something because I have
- 33:45Speaker 1: I the first time I went since the pandemic was
- 33:48Speaker 1: last year, and I don't really know what the experience
- 33:53Speaker 1: is supposed to be like when you're camping. But I
- 33:56Speaker 1: have a friend who you guys know, Lauren Chavez was
- 34:00Speaker 1: on vander Pump rules, but she always would camp and
- 34:03Speaker 1: she had the greatest time. I'd be curious to know
- 34:05Speaker 1: what her take is on how it was this past
- 34:08Speaker 1: year but or this year. But senior vice president with
- 34:12Speaker 1: Golden Voice addressed the issue during an why can I
- 34:17Speaker 1: Not Read address the issue during a lakin To City
- 34:20Speaker 1: Council meeting, saying the company is taking action to prevent
- 34:23Speaker 1: repeat for weekend two. So now they got in quicker,
- 34:28Speaker 1: but they just started dining and dashing instead. Perfect This
- 34:32Speaker 1: includes more tollboos at entry points to speed up security
- 34:35Speaker 1: checks and reduce weight times. Golden Voice acknowledged the delays
- 34:38Speaker 1: created significant inconvenience and assured both fans and local officials
- 34:42Speaker 1: that improvements are already underway. I just there's got to
- 34:48Speaker 1: be the amount of ways that you can get in
- 34:52Speaker 1: and out of the festival that they just decide to
- 34:55Speaker 1: block off and only have two entry ways to everything.
- 34:59Speaker 1: It's crazy, and I get it. It's probably to make
- 35:02Speaker 1: sure people don't sneak in, But Coachella I had a
- 35:05Speaker 1: plethora of people sneaking in every year that I want,
- 35:07Speaker 1: like the amount of wristbands that were being told.
- 35:09Speaker 2: I don't know Howell was making money.
- 35:11Speaker 1: That is happening no matter what.
- 35:13Speaker 2: That's how I felt. I was like, nobody even I'm
- 35:16Speaker 2: with ten people here and not one of them has
- 35:18Speaker 2: a ticket and we're all in here exactly.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Yes, not even wristbands. I've seen tiktoks of people just
- 35:24Speaker 3: flat out walking in, jumping fences, going through the trees
- 35:27Speaker 3: and just going through kind of like the artist area
- 35:30Speaker 3: and then running into the crowds, just like right, were
- 35:32Speaker 3: that fences that guards it?
- 35:33Speaker 1: You guys. I was in the artist area last year
- 35:36Speaker 1: and it could not have been more of a snooze.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Everyone walking around with their drinks. I'm like, this is
- 35:43Speaker 1: so crazy that there's a whole like for me, just
- 35:47Speaker 1: do ga, if you're going to do it, oh ga.
- 35:50Speaker 2: The best part is we were in we went to
- 35:52Speaker 2: the VIP and we thought like this isn't that great.
- 35:55Speaker 2: And then we found GA and you're like, this is it?
- 35:58Speaker 1: In fact, for Stage Coach, they switch it and the
- 36:02Speaker 1: main stage is at a different location and VIP is
- 36:05Speaker 1: at a different location, and it was I did not
- 36:08Speaker 1: like it at all. Night one, I just assumed that
- 36:12Speaker 1: VIP was in the same section that Coachella's VIP was in.
- 36:18Speaker 1: I had the best time. That's where we watched Jelly Roll. Yeah,
- 36:21Speaker 1: and then I VI, I'm like, I do not want
- 36:24Speaker 1: to be over here. No, it was there's just a
- 36:27Speaker 1: few things that need tweaking. I've never run a festival,
- 36:31Speaker 1: so I don't know, but I think starting with more
- 36:34Speaker 1: entry points like they said that they would do. And
- 36:36Speaker 1: you also, I think need to designate time slots, if
- 36:40Speaker 1: that's even possible, because there's so many people that go.
- 36:42Speaker 3: I like the Timeslot idea because you can do that
- 36:44Speaker 3: with the confirmationically, you know, once everybody confirms for camping,
- 36:47Speaker 3: because apparently I would assume that sells out quick, that's
- 36:49Speaker 3: probably one of the first things that sell out at right,
- 36:52Speaker 3: and so you know, a month or two before just
- 36:55Speaker 3: say hey, this is the times you're coming in. Just
- 36:57Speaker 3: elude the times Forum and boom, and then you know
- 36:59Speaker 3: there still will be traffic because someone's gonna show up late,
- 37:02Speaker 3: there's gonna be a car that takes forever to get searched.
- 37:04Speaker 3: But at least you have it a little bit control structure.
- 37:07Speaker 1: It's not gonna be twelve hours that you're waiting out
- 37:09Speaker 1: the exactly.
- 37:10Speaker 3: But the one thing I want to say about that,
- 37:12Speaker 3: because this is the first time I feel like we've
- 37:14Speaker 3: heard about this being a really big issue getting into camping.
- 37:17Speaker 3: So what did they do different this year that you
- 37:20Speaker 3: know that they haven't done in previous years. Because I've
- 37:23Speaker 3: never heard of the camping. I didn't hear anything.
- 37:25Speaker 1: About it, but that's right, I didn't either, So I
- 37:29Speaker 1: wonder did they have more wristbands or more people deciding
- 37:33Speaker 1: to do the camping situation? And you guys, the I
- 37:37Speaker 1: went two weekends ago. It was so freaking windy every
- 37:42Speaker 1: single day. I have yet to be in Palm Springs
- 37:47Speaker 1: where I live, where it's windy back to back days
- 37:49Speaker 1: the entire time, where like you can't even go swimming.
- 37:52Speaker 1: It was so dusty and windy this weekend. It was
- 37:56Speaker 1: only Friday the rest, but I don't know what it
- 37:59Speaker 1: was like in Lakinta because I palm springs, but people
- 38:02Speaker 1: had to wear masks. The air quality was horrendous. Like, honestly,
- 38:05Speaker 1: I think it would be really hard to go to
- 38:06Speaker 1: a festival sober. Well, I've done it. Actually it wasn't
- 38:09Speaker 1: that hard. Actually I take it hard.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Well, it's not that hard when you're with like other
- 38:14Speaker 2: people or so.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Yeah, did you do Coachella or a stage coach though
- 38:19Speaker 1: I only stage coach. Stage Coach, I think is where
- 38:23Speaker 1: it's going to be a shift. Stage Coach is having
- 38:25Speaker 1: awesome people now, like they've got Nelly, Jelly Roll, Lona
- 38:29Speaker 1: del Rey, They've got like Backstreet Boys, They're starting to
- 38:33Speaker 1: kind of put more than just like country music. Yeah,
- 38:38Speaker 1: but still the bones in the heart of the festival
- 38:40Speaker 1: is country, but Coachella. The highlights Cynthia Rivo sing a
- 38:45Speaker 1: cover of Princess Purple Rain.
- 38:48Speaker 2: I Die.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Purple Rain is the longest song I've ever listened to.
- 38:53Speaker 1: It's like over seven minutes. I wonder if she performed
- 38:55Speaker 1: the whole thing, and she performed it with the La
- 38:57Speaker 1: Philharmonic Orchestra, and even the they went over their slotted time,
- 39:01Speaker 1: Coachella did not shut them down, which I think is awesome,
- 39:04Speaker 1: as they.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Should not have big and the Stallion's going to be
- 39:07Speaker 3: pissed about that. Her weekend one set, apparently they were
- 39:11Speaker 3: telling her to speed it up and like, hurry it up,
- 39:12Speaker 3: and I think they actually cut her music off at
- 39:14Speaker 3: a certain point.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Speed it up? How do you speed it up?
- 39:17Speaker 3: Like, We'll just tell her, like, because I think she
- 39:19Speaker 3: was like in between songs like setting up, setting it up, Yeah,
- 39:22Speaker 3: because you could tell, like she's going in her ear
- 39:24Speaker 3: and she's like they're telling her to hurry up and stuff.
- 39:26Speaker 4: They're like playing the music like because apparently yesterday she
- 39:30Speaker 4: started on whatever day she if, I think it was Sunday,
- 39:34Speaker 4: Apparently she started ten minutes earlier and she said, so
- 39:36Speaker 4: they're not going to stop me or shut me down
- 39:38Speaker 4: this time.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Or something like that again. But they will.
- 39:40Speaker 2: They will, They'll play that music, bitch.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Dave Grohl played a song with the orchestra as well,
- 39:45Speaker 1: and then Ed Sheeron made a surprise appearance at the
- 39:48Speaker 1: Mahabi Tent, thousands of people packed. How could you not
- 39:53Speaker 1: I love Ed Shecheron. In fact, I was playing the
- 39:57Speaker 1: Pandora station of Ed Sharon at the house and I
- 40:00Speaker 1: I didn't even know he was performing, but it's just
- 40:02Speaker 1: like a good healthy playlist that the kids can listen to.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I typed in te pain, but it started the yeah
- 40:11Speaker 1: in pain and then yeah, what's that guy's name with
- 40:16Speaker 1: the gap in his teeth? Uh Germaine Dupre He came
- 40:20Speaker 1: on and he started seeing. He was like get and
- 40:23Speaker 1: all the bitches, fuck these bitches, and I was like,
- 40:26Speaker 1: oh my god, they caught ocean can't hear. But I
- 40:29Speaker 1: kept trying to change it and it wouldn't let me. Okay,
- 40:31Speaker 1: I'm sure in it is. Do you think that you
- 40:34Speaker 1: would ever go back to Coachella Easton? No? Like, even
- 40:39Speaker 1: who would you if? I? Who would have to be
- 40:42Speaker 1: the lineup? So there's always three headliners for Friday, Saturday
- 40:45Speaker 1: and Sunday. Who would have to be performing for you
- 40:48Speaker 1: to say like I'm gonna buy I'm gonna buy a ticket,
- 40:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna go and do the whole bit.
- 40:54Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, there's a lot of artists that I
- 40:55Speaker 2: would go to, Like I would go and see Lonna
- 40:57Speaker 2: del Rey. I would see you know, she had like
- 41:01Speaker 2: jelly Roll, I would don't see it, like a lot
- 41:03Speaker 2: of different genres, but I would be very prissy about it,
- 41:08Speaker 2: like I would want a vip pas so I can
- 41:10Speaker 2: just walk in and just watch the concert. I'm not
- 41:13Speaker 2: there to like be on drugs drink like I would
- 41:16Speaker 2: vote for that. So that is the only reason why
- 41:19Speaker 2: I would probably never go again. Okay, but I like
- 41:22Speaker 2: the events, like the day events, Like we went to
- 41:25Speaker 2: a golfing event. There was another pickleball event that we
- 41:28Speaker 2: went to and all of that, and then once people
- 41:31Speaker 2: started going to the concert, we would go to dinner
- 41:34Speaker 2: and yeah, go back to the house and swim chill.
- 41:37Speaker 1: I think events like that sound fun where there's like
- 41:40Speaker 1: a reason to be going, where it's like in activity.
- 41:44Speaker 1: But honestly, even with what I was seeing posted with
- 41:48Speaker 1: the gays logan and Leo, I'm like, the parties looked
- 41:52Speaker 1: this is a little bit dead.
- 41:53Speaker 2: This is the first time that I have been like
- 41:57Speaker 2: Coachella is now popular to talk shit on. Oh okay,
- 42:03Speaker 2: I like all of the videos I see is like
- 42:06Speaker 2: this is my twenty dollars sanduit cha.
- 42:09Speaker 1: You talked a little bit about that weekend one where
- 42:12Speaker 1: people are just kind of like annoyed by.
- 42:14Speaker 2: It, and it's like, you know what you're getting into.
- 42:17Speaker 1: My house in Palm Springs is near the airport and
- 42:22Speaker 1: any time. I've only had it for two years, but
- 42:24Speaker 1: literally last year I went both weekends even just to chill, right,
- 42:30Speaker 1: and the amount of private jets that were flying in
- 42:34Speaker 1: and out was pretty insane.
- 42:36Speaker 2: I guarantee they were landing every ten minutes.
- 42:38Speaker 1: There was not one this weekend.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Really.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Yeah, and maybe because it's weekend two, but I was
- 42:46Speaker 1: in Palm Springs last year weekend too, and like I said,
- 42:50Speaker 1: it didn't matter if it was weekend one or two.
- 42:53Speaker 1: The jets were flying in and out like crazy.
- 42:57Speaker 2: That's yeah, that's wild. But I do think that because
- 43:00Speaker 2: back in the day, it's all the same. People were
- 43:03Speaker 2: shitting in buckets and outhouses and things, and like you
- 43:08Speaker 2: wouldn't see like here's the line for the bathroom. It's
- 43:11Speaker 2: like you just knew what you were getting into. You
- 43:13Speaker 2: never saw that. People didn't post it. They posted them
- 43:16Speaker 2: walking into the event or the event or pictures and
- 43:19Speaker 2: you were like, I want to be there. Yeah, you
- 43:23Speaker 2: see the backside of it, and you're like, I don't
- 43:24Speaker 2: care to ever go.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Well. She Sheena said it was a lot of fun
- 43:28Speaker 1: and that there was one night that they actually had
- 43:31Speaker 1: to remove them from the grounds because they were just
- 43:33Speaker 1: like sitting there talking and everyone had kind of left.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Security was like, you guys gotta go. You can come
- 43:38Speaker 1: back tomorrow.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Fucking coming up at this point? Well, no, because I
- 43:42Speaker 2: just sit at the grounds for that long.
- 43:44Speaker 1: No, But I mean the concert wraps up probably around
- 43:47Speaker 1: eleven eleven thirty, right, I don't know, I can't really remember,
- 43:51Speaker 1: like midnight, midnight, and then you go to like the
- 43:54Speaker 1: after parties.
- 43:55Speaker 2: You do, like that field takes to clear.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sure it's a nightmare.
- 44:01Speaker 2: So for people coming up to you to go, you
- 44:04Speaker 2: got to get off these grounds. Oh my gosh.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Yeah, you've got to be there a really long time.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Finding your car would be easy.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I think the days of Coachella for
- 44:14Speaker 1: me are very very far behind me. It would have
- 44:17Speaker 1: to significantly change. It would have to be easier to
- 44:21Speaker 1: access because I just don't think that it's something there
- 44:26Speaker 1: was and I'm happy to walk.
- 44:28Speaker 2: Like that's the other thing, Like I know that.
- 44:29Speaker 1: You're walking so much there. You don't want to walk
- 44:32Speaker 1: seven miles which I did pregnant for stage car to
- 44:37Speaker 1: get which I think it was because I wasn't aware
- 44:39Speaker 1: of the grounds. But so I just was like a
- 44:42Speaker 1: sheep following whoever was washing.
- 44:45Speaker 2: We needed a stroller for you.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Yeah, they've just and then the bikes. Those things are awesome,
- 44:52Speaker 1: but they're so expensive. It's just they've got to figure
- 44:55Speaker 1: out some way to make it accessible for literally everybody
- 44:58Speaker 1: to have a good time. Like I know that there's
- 45:01Speaker 1: people that are camping, but for the most part, if
- 45:02Speaker 1: you're camping, I have to assume you're not flying in
- 45:05Speaker 1: on a private jet, you're not staying at a fabulous
- 45:08Speaker 1: uh house because you're camping, Like, make it easy for
- 45:12Speaker 1: these people. They're taking off work, they're coming to see
- 45:15Speaker 1: a festival that you've put on. Please don't take advantage
- 45:18Speaker 1: of them. It's like pretty simple, right, Yeah, my mind
- 45:22Speaker 1: is so blown by this Easter Sunday. You guys, Billy
- 45:27Speaker 1: ray Cyrus, do you know who that is? Easton? Okay?
- 45:31Speaker 1: So before he came out with that song with naws,
- 45:38Speaker 1: what's his name? That's for me put his name on
- 45:47Speaker 1: the map. But he's Miley Cyrus's dad.
- 45:49Speaker 2: He and els also Billy ray Cyrus.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Right, But like before Hannah Montana, I didn't know who
- 45:56Speaker 1: that was her dad in Montana too, but no one
- 46:00Speaker 1: knew him really, unless you were a throwback human like mom.
- 46:04Speaker 2: Well that's I think. That's why I'm having this is
- 46:06Speaker 2: because I feel like I knew him because of Mom.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Oh weird? Okay, did Mom like him? I don't know anyway.
- 46:12Speaker 1: He went Instagram official with Elizabeth Hurley yesterday.
- 46:16Speaker 2: How old?
- 46:17Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 46:17Speaker 2: How old is she?
- 46:19Speaker 1: She's young? You don't know who that is?
- 46:21Speaker 2: Not a shot.
- 46:22Speaker 1: You will know who she is. Rook, No, she's stunnying.
- 46:28Speaker 1: You'll know exactly who she is. She was in Austin Powers.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I believe she has a kN accent. I had no
- 46:36Speaker 1: idea they were even dating, but they went Instagram official.
- 46:40Speaker 2: How long have they been dating? Before the talking?
- 46:42Speaker 1: She got the nine, So it's not like he's like
- 46:45Speaker 1: going for some girl that's out of his age range.
- 46:48Speaker 1: She's absolutely stunning. But I'm so shocked that old billy
- 46:53Speaker 1: that they have been dating and no one even knew.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Happy Easter. The caption read, that's.
- 46:58Speaker 2: It they Okay, right, well, shout out Billy, Billy, Billy.
- 47:07Speaker 1: I'm impressed. She's freaking hot.
- 47:11Speaker 2: She is.
- 47:12Speaker 1: I will say that's one of the couples that was
- 47:14Speaker 1: dropped on me that I was shocked by. Also, I
- 47:17Speaker 1: was today years old when I learned that Kendall Jenner
- 47:20Speaker 1: and Asap Rocky had a thing. For a minute, I
- 47:23Speaker 1: did know that you did.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Yes, Wow, it's a while ago though. Yeah.
- 47:29Speaker 1: It popped up because Asap was sitting next to Sweeney
- 47:35Speaker 1: what's her name, Sidney Sweeney, and people were like, do
- 47:37Speaker 1: you think Reread's mad about them talking? And everyone's like no,
- 47:41Speaker 1: like the what now? Two people of the opposite sex
- 47:43Speaker 1: can't even have conversations without being like.
- 47:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna put my apa.
- 47:47Speaker 1: What are they talking about? Also, Kristen Stewart from Twilight, Yeah,
- 47:54Speaker 1: go on, she also married her screenwriter girlfriend Lan Meyer
- 48:00Speaker 1: on Easter Sunday. It was just like a small little ceremony.
- 48:03Speaker 2: What's an Easter Sunday? I know, put it in the books.
- 48:08Speaker 1: I don't understand what the what the uh what the
- 48:12Speaker 1: deal was with being like Easter Sunday, perfect day to go.
- 48:15Speaker 2: Official resurrection resurrection.
- 48:18Speaker 1: Right, yeah, but of love, it's the resurrection of Christ, right.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Well Christ comes in all sorts of ways.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe maybe I thought that that was like a
- 48:29Speaker 1: very interesting thing that so many people were choosing that day.
- 48:32Speaker 1: You guys, thank you for listening to another episode of
- 48:34Speaker 1: To Give Them All a Pod. We will catch you
- 48:36Speaker 1: on Monday for the bonus and again next week.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Bye man.
