- 1:12time. So in sha Allah we can learn and
- 1:14also celebrate and to do that as well said we have a a special
- 1:18guest. He's not our first guest from
- 1:21Michigan, the Holy Land, and inshallah is not our last as
- 1:25well, said Mohammed Hassan Alaikum said.
- 1:30Thank you so much for being here.
- 1:31My honour, thank you for having me, you said Ali.
- 1:35Now what till studio on the podcast?
- 1:37With your presence, thank you. Thank you.
- 1:40Said that, it's your first time in London.
- 1:42This is exactly my first time. I haven't been here for more
- 1:44than 20 hours so far, yeah. We have to get more podcast.
- 1:49That's what happens and so well on it.
- 1:51Thank you so much. I know we we've really liked
- 1:54Stretched Your Time. We are way past Magnet time.
- 1:58So we're after after magnet now. Is the After Secured podcast.
- 2:01Yeah. Said.
- 2:04Obviously now we're obviously in in the month of Rudge and we're
- 2:06approaching Shahaban and Shahramovan.
- 2:10How how do you feel kind of at this time of year?
- 2:12I know your schedule must be packed as.
- 2:13Well, no, naturally. I'm ecstatic.
- 2:15Excited Rajab is just such a beautiful opportunity to #1
- 2:20rejuvenate your vows, uplift your spirits with obviously the
- 2:25biggest occasion, the birth of with that, the birth of Willaya.
- 2:29With that, the condemnation of, like the rest of the Imams of
- 2:34Hadid bait the journeys of, say, the Shahada Imam Hassan.
- 2:38All this comes from Imam Ali Nabi and so he is the originator
- 2:42to everything that we love about imamology, if that word works.
- 2:46Yeah. Al Hamdullah, there's there's so
- 2:48much to be to reflect on and to understand amiramat meninas, to
- 2:52understand Islam in many ways. You know amiramat mini, as we
- 2:55always say, the Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wala
- 2:58Salem, he brought the religion. He brought the revelation and
- 3:01amiramat mini and protected the revelation.
- 3:03He preserved the revelation and the dynamic there is so
- 3:06important. Inshallah we can get into that
- 3:08today. But St.
- 3:09Ali, we have. We have something in store.
- 3:11We do. We we have you know, for those
- 3:16listening and watching to the podcast, you know every time we
- 3:18have like an international special guest joining us.
- 3:21We we we try to have like a a game.
- 3:23We call it AM rankings. But on this episode it's going
- 3:25to be a little different because we're going to give you a
- 3:27scenario and and a question and inshallah, we're all going to
- 3:31see, you know, how your mind works, just.
- 3:34Go easy on me, yeah. We will, we will you want to say
- 3:38the scenario. No, no, you you do it way
- 3:39better. Just in Charlotte's not reality.
- 3:42Like, Oh my God, here we go. So I was discussing this with
- 3:46Ahmed earlier on and we were like, this is what the scenario
- 3:49is going to be. Say it now.
- 3:50You are at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.
- 3:52OK, yeah, you've checked. I was.
- 3:55Just there, like a few hours ago.
- 3:57Now you're going back. You've checked in, you've got
- 4:01your boarding pass, you've given away your luggage, you've passed
- 4:04security. You're boarding the flight now,
- 4:06and you're on your seat on the plane.
- 4:08And the pilot, the Smila Rahman Rahim, flies off, takes off
- 4:12somehow. Nothing happens to the engines.
- 4:16The first question is what comes to your mind now?
- 4:20The engines now fail. Now here's the second question.
- 4:23You crash land on an island, and you remain alive in Hamden.
- 4:26OK, Hamden, what are five things that you wish was with you on
- 4:31the island to keep you alive? I feel I already carry these
- 4:34five things with me wherever I go.
- 4:36My phone, my ring, my Insha Allah, I hope I have a family
- 4:43member with me. I don't like to be alone.
- 4:46Aside from the obvious. I would hope I have with me
- 4:50something to kill time with a book that I can learn from.
- 4:54At the same time be entertaining maybe also.
- 4:59Well, the problem is when I bring a phone or a laptop,
- 5:02there's nothing I can use to connect or link with the world.
- 5:05So you put me on the spot. To be honest with you, I would
- 5:08say a gym. A gym.
- 5:11A gym. A gym, Yeah.
- 5:14Is that like a Deadwood? How do you bring a gym with you
- 5:16on the fly? You can order like gym sets or
- 5:18something like that. OK, fine.
- 5:19So like equipment? A gym delivery I was waiting.
- 5:25For something all the shrines. And Imam Zade, honestly, that's
- 5:33such a tough one. Honestly, in an island, all I
- 5:36really want to have is a way out.
- 5:38Yeah, a boat. Yeah, OK.
- 5:40I like that. I love.
- 5:40What about survival stuff? Jose, Nina Yeah.
- 5:46Have the luck. That's good.
- 5:48That's nice. Because you you thought about
- 5:50killing time and you thought about being around people you
- 5:52love and and that's completely different because some people
- 5:55might answer that question to think about I need a Swiss Army
- 5:59knife and I need like matchsticks and all sorts of
- 6:03binoculars and all of that stuff if.
- 6:04You're in an island. It sounds like you're in like a
- 6:06paradise. Palm trees and things like that.
- 6:09It seems like a place people would go for vacation purposes,
- 6:13so I would assume that I'm going to manage on this island.
- 6:15So what else can I bring that will optimize my stay there?
- 6:18OK, hence the hosenia is necessary.
- 6:21You are the Hosenia saying that. We can't live without honestly,
- 6:24let's be honest. Takes one to know one, yeah.
- 6:27And you know what is? That's, that's exactly why we're
- 6:29doing this podcast is the remembrance of the Alabama Islam
- 6:32that brings us towards our last panel to Allah.
- 6:34And you know this is, and I think for many of us is the
- 6:40most, one of the most exciting weeks in the Islamic calendar,
- 6:45the Athol Beit Alayhi Musalaam as you mentioned quite rightly
- 6:48said the pinnacle and and the ultimate example that we have
- 6:52from the AIM Alayhi Musalaam is Amira Momini.
- 6:55How he dealt with oppression, how he dealt with crowds of
- 6:59people around him and attention all upon him.
- 7:01But at the same time, there were moments in his life where he was
- 7:03alone, where he was ostracized, where he was marginalized and at
- 7:06different stages in the life of Miramat Minin.
- 7:08We learn from examples from him. From his birth Miramat Minin was
- 7:13honoured born in the Kaaba, you know the first person He opened
- 7:17his eyes to Rusuallah Muhammad until the last days of his life.
- 7:22Like everything that Allah Allah did for Miramat Minin was just
- 7:27to honour him because of his purity, the sanctity that
- 7:29Miramat Minin held. I wanted to ask you said, where
- 7:32do we kind of begin to understand Allah Subhanahu
- 7:35Ta'ala through? Imam Ali is the most God centric
- 7:40thing after the Holy Prophet of of Islam.
- 7:44I think the example that Imam Ali is to the Muslim world is
- 7:49the example that Rasool Allah is in regards to the Muslim world
- 7:55as well. He is the second best creation
- 7:58after the Messenger of God. I can say that with full
- 8:01confidence and that's our belief as followers of Immunomimini.
- 8:06That being said, every aspect of the Imam's life revolved around
- 8:09Allah. He is the one who said I don't
- 8:11see anything unless I see God before it, after it and in it
- 8:15which develops a God centrism that transcends just materialism
- 8:20where he can take material and incorporate the spiritual.
- 8:24I don't see a tree, except that I see.
- 8:25Had it not been for the tree, the live life and error and all
- 8:29that is necessary to make me live would not come through.
- 8:32So hence the mercy of Allah through this tree.
- 8:35And so his vision of God's centrism is something that is
- 8:39beyond normal. His demeanor and composure in
- 8:44times, as you mentioned, where it was difficult, arduous, is
- 8:48always revolving around God. He gets struck.
- 8:50He says he's born in the cab. He's in a difficult moment where
- 8:55he's facing adversaries and the moment he knocks one out he just
- 8:59says Allahu Akbar. He's the most God centric thing
- 9:03to exist. Which ironically is our response
- 9:06to those who say you focus on Iman Ali so much, take your
- 9:10focus to Allah. I only focus on him because look
- 9:13how much he took his focus to Allah.
- 9:14He is that Waseda that takes me back to Allah due to how much he
- 9:19made Allah primary. Everything else was secondary.
- 9:21Yeah, yeah. So I didn't know, being 13 and
- 9:24you know, we're here, you know, celebrating the auspicious birth
- 9:29in Imam Ali Ali Salaam and where people sometimes deny the birth
- 9:33actually took place in the Kaaba.
- 9:34Yani well the birth of Imam Ali is a non negotiable thing if we
- 9:40look at textually saying that in between your words, pardon me,
- 9:45scholarly material has made it very clear, unequivocal whether
- 9:50it was Al Hakim and Neshapuri in his and mostadra Kalislehai.
- 9:54These are the two additional Sahi works to the non Shia
- 9:57world. There are the additional
- 9:59material, yeah, that should have been included.
- 10:01Of it, yeah. But according to their
- 10:02standards, for some reason wasn't added.
- 10:04Yeah, he narrates that Lady Fontanet bint Assad gave birth
- 10:10to the Imam inside the Kabat and such report has been narrated in
- 10:14Consensus Stawato. So of course I don't need to go
- 10:17their direction to embrace my belief on I'm a meal.
- 10:22However, if I look at it from a textual standpoint, if I look at
- 10:24it from a historical context, this is an undisputed issue.
- 10:30But people who have a a little issue inside them spiritually
- 10:34will definitely look for avenues out.
- 10:36So would you say Imam Ali honored the Kaaba or did the
- 10:39Kaaba honor Imam Ali most? Definitely Imam Emira MO Menin
- 10:43honored the Kaaba. Later on, literally honored the
- 10:49Kaaba by removing the Asnam from around.
- 10:52Is that not one of the biggest honors to remove idolatry?
- 10:55The Kaaba was honored through that, let alone through him
- 10:59being miraculously born inside it.
- 11:01The events that transpired are not normal events.
- 11:04Lady Fatima Bent Assad approaches it and she's about to
- 11:07give birth and she makes this amazing Dua Allahumma Behaktel,
- 11:11Maulu de Levifi Botni Illa Maya Sarta Aliya.
- 11:15Will adity make it easy on behalf of the one in my womb
- 11:19about to be born? Then suddenly though southern
- 11:22wall of the cabbage just splits and she just walks inside,
- 11:26narrated by those who are surrounding this.
- 11:28This is a bizarre scene goes in and it closes.
- 11:32Hysteria happens. The wife of wolf Adam is in the
- 11:35cabin and they go and they inform him and his response is
- 11:38simply well, if it happened as such, this was the order of
- 11:41Allah, let's not interfere. Many came to open the door that
- 11:44didn't go through until the second day.
- 11:47The third day it opens again. She comes out, but this time not
- 11:51as one person, as two. She's holding a young baby.
- 11:55The crowd is surrounding the scene and they're looking what
- 11:58went on, and the first person she approaches as the crowd
- 12:02parts way was the messenger of God himself.
- 12:05And she hands him the child, and she asks him, what have you
- 12:09decided to give him as a name? And the Messenger of God says
- 12:14that the heavens has ordained not me, that he shall be named.
- 12:19From that moment on, He opens His holy eyes.
- 12:22Imam Ali takes days for children to open their eyes after their
- 12:26newly born opens his eyes. And the first things, as you
- 12:30said he sees are the eyes of Rasulullah looking at him.
- 12:33Fast forward about 30 or so years later.
- 12:37Rasulullah is in the hands of the Imam.
- 12:40On his deathbed the last thing he sees Sallallahu alaihi were
- 12:44the eyes of Imam and it goes full circle.
- 12:47It's you know when when so beautiful When we talk about the
- 12:50relationship between Amira Monin and Salaam Muhammad sallallahu
- 12:54alayhi wasallam in natural Balaga, we talk about this
- 12:57sermon we've talked about it before said is the the way in
- 13:01which Yamira Mohammed talks about his relationship with the
- 13:03Holy Prophet. Muhammad is like no other and he
- 13:06says that I followed him like a a baby camel follows his mother
- 13:11and I learnt revelation from the the mouths of the Holy Prophet
- 13:15and I was I slept on his on the bosom of the Holy Prophet
- 13:18Muhammad. These kind of statements and
- 13:21sentiments are not to be taken lightly and for some he may be
- 13:244th, but for us he's first indisputably, and not just in
- 13:27terms of his states politically or where he ranks in history.
- 13:30Mirren Mokminin is first in every sense of the word.
- 13:34And when we talk about the number one, Emir al Mokminin is
- 13:37number one for us as the Imam and that is it as the Khalifa
- 13:41undoubtedly. But as the the Imam which
- 13:43encompasses Khalafa, he remains #1.
- 13:46And you know what's interesting? If you don't mind me saying,
- 13:49even when Emir Al Mokminin was asked about the number one, he
- 13:53gave a beautiful response. After the battle of Jamal, a man
- 13:56comes to Miramot Manin. He says when you say Allah is 1,
- 13:59what do you mean? Miramot Manin says there are two
- 14:03correct ways of saying Allah is 1 and there's two false ways.
- 14:06As for the first false way, he says to say Allah is one.
- 14:10For example, numerically He's one of two or one of three, one
- 14:15of infinite, because when you numerically summarize Allah
- 14:18spanta Allah as an individual or an entity which is a number that
- 14:23limits him. The second false thing he says
- 14:25is when you say Allah is one, for example of a Group, One of a
- 14:31number of deities. When you say Allah is at the
- 14:33moment one, it implies that He's alone and there could be an
- 14:37opportunity or possibility for there being other deities in the
- 14:40two correct scenarios. When Emil Mokminin says Allah is
- 14:43one, in the first case Allah is one-of-a-kind he can't be
- 14:47compared to. There's nothing apparently
- 14:49nearby comparable to the last Panel to Allah in his entirety,
- 14:53neither in his attributes nor in his decision making or anything
- 14:58along these lines. A last panel to Allah is
- 15:00one-of-a-kind and finally says the second correct assumption is
- 15:04that a last panel atallah is one in his entirety and in the
- 15:08hadith says, if I'm not mistaken, one both physically
- 15:11and mentally. For example, there's no
- 15:13components to Allah even in the mind.
- 15:15If I think Allah is made-up of multiple things, even if I say
- 15:18Allah is made-up of alfour, and another part of Allah is of
- 15:21Rahim and Alim and all of these different attributes, they're
- 15:25not simultaneous. They're not different attributes
- 15:27which make up Allah. Rather they are simultaneous
- 15:31descriptive words to summarize Allah.
- 15:34Maybe I'm maybe you can correct me if I'm wrong saying that, but
- 15:36that's my understanding very. Beautiful explanations, Of
- 15:39course. It's hard to comprehend
- 15:41descriptions of God from the most godly man ever.
- 15:44Yeah, but because of how well learned he is of these
- 15:49descriptions, he can make them digestible for us in this way.
- 15:53So he tells you, you see these is Joseph of these portions.
- 15:57God is not built in portions is what he uses to describe and
- 16:02another description La La you draco hawas that Imam describes
- 16:13him as not able to be sensed and senses cannot perceive him,
- 16:18people cannot measure him. He is near nor far, far nor near
- 16:25and just this explanation that comes and tells you at all.
- 16:30But here are some metrics to understand God on a more
- 16:33personal dimension. Imam Ali said he hits the nail
- 16:37on the head with this very beautifully.
- 16:40You find these gems across Nacho Balava as well, especially.
- 16:43The way Imam Ali described is God.
- 16:45I'm mesmerized. Oh my God.
- 16:48I've never heard someone describe what last panel with
- 16:50Allah whatnot. That's not limit Allah, but
- 16:53given the attributes and the way he explains analogies, he's
- 16:56amazing. Yeah, and you look even for
- 17:00sermon one in Nacho Balada, surely for Radi when he when he
- 17:03compiled it. I'm sure there's a reason why I
- 17:05put it as the first. There must be millions of people
- 17:07in the course of history, my own community, as an example, who
- 17:10reverted towards Willaya because of the attributes of Amira
- 17:14Mutmanin, both in his actions and in his descriptions of a
- 17:17last month Isla. Like you know, in the first
- 17:19sermon of Nacho Balada, he talks about Hajj, he talks about the
- 17:23Ambiya, he talks about Nabi Adam and Islam, talks about the
- 17:25origin of mankind, he talks about the galaxies, he talks
- 17:28about water vapor, He. Talks about the the, yeah, the
- 17:31process of the development of the universe incorporating water
- 17:35vapor. Such that it came to.
- 17:37Create a collection of elements that produce life eventually.
- 17:43How would you know this? Because this is astronomically
- 17:46accurate too, and spiritually at the same time, it's just beyond
- 17:50comprehensible. And to think that this is a
- 17:51person who there are some Muslims who say that he was
- 17:54raised by Omi who was illiterate or that he's amongst a community
- 17:58which is less educated, you know, like oriented us who'll
- 18:02say that this pre Islamic era of being uneducated and not we're
- 18:07talking about Amiramat Minin who was amongst godly knowledge and
- 18:11who possessed godly knowledge. So it's just it's mind blowing
- 18:14to fathom that Amiramat Minin excelled in every field.
- 18:17That there's the point. You know Seidali brother Ahmed,
- 18:20we're talking about how he just excelled in his relationship
- 18:24with God. He only not only excelled in his
- 18:27relationship, but he excelled everywhere.
- 18:29Else every field. Want to see the best example of
- 18:32a just leader? You want to see the most tender
- 18:35man to his family, The most humble slave to God at night,
- 18:41praying at the Mahab, the strongest warrior in the
- 18:45battlefield. Imam I never thought of.
- 18:46He just hits a pluses everywhere.
- 18:49That first sermon in Naju Balara is powerful because it's just
- 18:53this powerful introduction. Yeah, here is in the beginning,
- 18:57like the Bible might begin the last people often skip the last
- 19:02because it's at the very end portion of Naju Balara.
- 19:05The very last sermon Imam Immuno moment is the last statement.
- 19:09He has something impeccable about a way to live life without
- 19:15ever having problems that you can say I'm responsible for.
- 19:19He says Whenever you find people out there that you like, don't
- 19:24obsess in liking them. Eh bib Habib Beke honan ma I saw
- 19:31a yokun Bari bakayo Men ma, love your lover to a healthy extent.
- 19:38Don't be obsessive because maybe one day he'll become your enemy
- 19:42and you've loved and poured your heart out to them.
- 19:44So this much, your secrets, your critical information, Now you've
- 19:49loved them that much. Eventually they turned against
- 19:51you. So they have all this that they
- 19:53could use leverage on you. But then he says and hate your
- 20:03enemy to a healthy extent. Don't over hate a person because
- 20:06maybe one day they turn into your lover.
- 20:09So love your friend, but not obsessively.
- 20:12And hate your enemy, but not obsessively, because everyone
- 20:15has an opportunity to go one way or the other.
- 20:17He starts with wisdom, introducing God.
- 20:20He then goes to the psychology of man at the very end of it.
- 20:24Outstanding. It's mad.
- 20:26Like when you when you think of it, it's truly Salaam is The
- 20:32Walking, talking Quran. Oh my, not just.
- 20:35I'm just saying this behind you. I see the Quran truly inshallah
- 20:38we are holding on to the. Book of Allah, we have 4 little
- 20:42Cosmo. Oh wow.
- 20:46Well, three swords. And they're.
- 20:48Not truly. You know, I cannot see him as a
- 20:52normal human being. A lot of people, yeah.
- 20:54Sometimes I read comments that we get engagement on the
- 20:57podcast. You know, why do you guys always
- 20:59Revere Ali and Ali so much? He's just like any other Tom,
- 21:02Dick and Harry. But the truth, he says no.
- 21:04Look at him. He's more than that.
- 21:05He was born in the cab. As we mentioned, he was raised
- 21:08by Rasulullah Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi Ali wasallam
- 21:11and he was appointed by Allah directly himself.
- 21:13Beautiful. No one else.
- 21:15It wasn't a self you know, governed election.
- 21:17It was appointed by the divine himself.
- 21:19So why would we go anywhere else there that I'm, I'm, I'm going
- 21:22to ask a question here. If Imam Ali Abhi Talib and Hamil
- 21:26asks a question at the beginning, you know how do we
- 21:28find God through Imam Ali Ali Salaam.
- 21:31I am seeking the truth. If it's now my first time
- 21:34listening to after Mahreb, I'm tuning in.
- 21:36I'm seeing, you know, 13 Raja vibes, everyone discussing Imam
- 21:39Ali. What has Imam Ali got to do with
- 21:41my life? How is he going to help me take
- 21:44me to my final destination, Jenna and Akara?
- 21:48I think through a process of elimination, the human being
- 21:51loves to learn step by step. It's hard to say, just accept
- 21:55and embrace this very comprehensive idea when in
- 21:58reality, Imam Ali is simple but through a process of
- 22:02elimination. When you walk around life, you
- 22:06want to know that there is purpose, meaning behind your
- 22:08existence. Naturally, you're going to
- 22:10search for that purpose. Many people end up finding a
- 22:13super higher power. Yeah.
- 22:14And then when you get to God that this universe could not
- 22:17have just became out of nowhere, it became through a purpose,
- 22:21that there was a purpose behind my creation.
- 22:24Once you got to that point, which a majority of the world
- 22:27is, then it's a matter of well then how am I to understand that
- 22:32creation that I might call God, others might call Jesus, others
- 22:36might call Nirvana, whatever it may be, is now you start
- 22:40thinking what makes most logical sense.
- 22:42Islam is logical. Islam is rational if it doesn't
- 22:46consist with logic and rationale then there's a floss somewhere.
- 22:51Allah would not tell you except something that doesn't make any
- 22:55sense. So there are rules and meaning
- 22:57and belief that we may not comprehend.
- 23:00But at least I know there is wisdom behind this.
- 23:02So now through that process of elimination I've come to terms
- 23:05that there can only be one God. There can't be two because one
- 23:09will occupy a space to the other, doesn't it?
- 23:11Hence making them limited and that which is limited is not
- 23:13worthy of being worshipped. So now, if it's only one,
- 23:16logically speaking, then which world view today embraces only
- 23:21one of these? You get down to primarily 3
- 23:23Abrahamic ones, yeah. Then from there you just
- 23:25continue that process of elimination.
- 23:27Which one consists with the most logical foundations, a world
- 23:32view. And this is obviously not to
- 23:34throw shade on other practices, but a world view that says these
- 23:37are chosen people, whether you're born into them or not.
- 23:41It's just a matter of, you know, your luck.
- 23:43That's not fair. Or my God perhaps died on a
- 23:47cross for my sins, but he was God at the same time.
- 23:50Again, the consistency needs to be maintained for me in order to
- 23:53say I follow something that makes sense to me.
- 23:56I'm not here to follow fairy tales.
- 23:57Does it make sense to me? Then you get to a narrative that
- 24:01says, no, there is one God not going to be restricted and
- 24:05limited in the matter that we may have seen elsewhere and also
- 24:09doesn't give this superiority to people just by virtue of being
- 24:13born ethnically into a certain group.
- 24:16That makes the most sense to me. Then from there you have to do
- 24:18more process of elimination, right?
- 24:20OK, now which one? This God will dispatch guidance
- 24:23for us because that's like a parent who gives birth but then
- 24:26just abandons their help, me. And so they dispatch the Lord to
- 24:30us. What messengers aids?
- 24:34But then now my notion of these messengers, are they the type of
- 24:37people that can have flaws? Do they get mad at other people
- 24:41for coming for help and they frown at blind men?
- 24:45Do they, for example, have bad mannerism?
- 24:47That doesn't make sense to me that God will dispatch someone
- 24:50that is not reflective of godly characteristics.
- 24:53Then I established the Messenger of God is masoom through and
- 24:55through. But then when he's about to
- 24:58depart now or at that really critical question, where do I go
- 25:02after him if he made it loud and clear?
- 25:05The old people? Oh ummah, I'm going to leave
- 25:08behind for you 2 very valuable things.
- 25:11It's the Book of Allah. 23 bloody, literally bloody years.
- 25:16We shrived for this. Hold on to it.
- 25:19And my ahul bait. My ahul bait.
- 25:22My ahul bait. This isn't Sahih Muslim that 3
- 25:25Ahulbait repetition. And that shows he's emphasizing.
- 25:28My ahulbait, don't let go of them three times stressing on it
- 25:31exactly and. He didn't just say love them,
- 25:33hold on, hold. On to them it's not a matter of
- 25:36just have kindness. Love them please just take it.
- 25:39Hold on to because it's a habloon mem dude like the Quran
- 25:42is to the samawat Ahulbait straight to the Lord himself.
- 25:46You will never ever go astray. So then his ahil base.
- 25:49By the way, I don't disagree with Sunnati as well.
- 25:52Of course the Sunnah of Rasulullah, after the messenger
- 25:55of God, it's his Sunnah. But who better knows the Sunnah
- 25:58than his own ahil bait? You know who better has
- 26:01understood that logic than Fatima?
- 26:04Who sees him wake up on a daily basis?
- 26:06Who understands what his interests are?
- 26:08From the Sunnah that's very meticulous, to the Sunnah that
- 26:11involves major social decisions. Only Imam has access because
- 26:16he's always been there in those major critical social moments.
- 26:19And so I agree with that. But then you have to be fair and
- 26:23you have to make a decision based on justice and logic.
- 26:26Your mind doesn't make sense that the Prophet dies like that
- 26:30and doesn't leave anyone to guide the ship.
- 26:33It doesn't make any sense to me if I've accepted so much
- 26:36consistency of logic, say that throughout the creation of God
- 26:39to then the messengers I did process of elimination.
- 26:42All right here I'm going to say it's not going to make sense and
- 26:44I'm willing to accept it. Continue.
- 26:49Forget all of that. Just observe the 12 imams
- 26:53historically, just observe them. You will never find history
- 26:58recorded. A flaw, an error, a slip.
- 27:01Oh, I made a mistake. Let me repeat that.
- 27:03None of that. Is that not bizarre.
- 27:05I think it's bizarre. If you have a generation of
- 27:08families that are all lawyers, 12 of them, one after the other,
- 27:12an impeccable lawyer, never losing a case, that's that's
- 27:15impossible. The coincidence of that is
- 27:17unlikely. Ever.
- 27:18Especially when they're under such heavy scrutiny.
- 27:20Not just that, in the circumstances that they're in,
- 27:23in jail house imprisonment. War looking for a reason to put
- 27:26a give them a bad reputation. They can't find one.
- 27:29And then look at the gems they produce despite all of that.
- 27:32So I have a such idea here. Works impeccable there
- 27:36sacrifices here, even in the confines of prisons, A
- 27:40magnificent example of wisdom, like a raging river for all
- 27:45those thirsty to come and quench their thirst Imam and call them
- 27:48and so many examples, you can't find this anywhere else.
- 27:51What are the odds of this ever occurring then?
- 27:53Maybe it's not a coincidence. Maybe there's a divine hand at
- 27:56play. Yeah.
- 27:58Yeah. So you've said that so
- 27:59beautifully and eloquently, and I want you to continue.
- 28:03I don't want to. Interrupt.
- 28:04Yeah, I lost in my. You mentioned love.
- 28:07You mentioned the very nice point where you're like, was
- 28:10Russell Allah Just going to leave the swell and all point
- 28:12anyone because it makes you think I lost panel at Allah and
- 28:15there's infinite wisdom and might and so look, he's really
- 28:19not going to appoint to Rosola to appoint someone and Rosola in
- 28:22his position. He's just going to, you know,
- 28:24leave this world and let go. And I add to that, sorry, I said
- 28:28I was going to say, like, it's it's sad as well that the world
- 28:30we live in has become so polemical.
- 28:32So if I was on Twitter the other day, I saw a quote.
- 28:34I have like a burner account, like an anonymous account.
- 28:37Yeah, that's what it's called. Yeah.
- 28:39Yeah. So got to be broke from the
- 28:42ends. But so I saw a brother.
- 28:45He tweeted a question like an Islamic question.
- 28:48He's a young brother. He must be in like his teenage
- 28:50years or something very like straightforward question about
- 28:54an opinion about how Islam treats a certain type of people.
- 28:57And he was referencing Andrew Tate.
- 28:59He said, Andrew Tate says this, what does Islam say?
- 29:02So I found a hadith of Amira Mohamanin.
- 29:03I said look at this, this is what Islam says.
- 29:06So the guy goes, are you Shia? I said, what makes you say that?
- 29:09Like I have a completely anonymous account.
- 29:11He says you're praising he I didn't even praise.
- 29:13He goes you're you're you're. He said I'm praising Ali Radi
- 29:17Allahu and OK fine, because I shared a hadith from Miramot
- 29:20Minin the fact that we live in a world which has become polemical
- 29:23or you. Can't praise Imam Ali without
- 29:25being called on for Let. Alone praise say that I can't
- 29:27share a hadith of Miramot Minin without someone saying this guy
- 29:31must be a share. So it's unfortunate that we live
- 29:33in a world like that and and I'm trying to understand whether
- 29:37that is what was destined to be the case or is it a shame?
- 29:41Because it in my mind it's a true shame.
- 29:43The fact that you have a the pearls of wisdom that I'm
- 29:46Miramot Minid, who is the peak of eloquence and who has
- 29:49produced so many pearls of wisdom both in his idea and in
- 29:53his sermons and his hadith and also in letters like his
- 29:56infinite amounts of wisdom in there.
- 29:58And if you even share that to the outside world or not even
- 30:01the outside world but maybe to our brothers and sisters
- 30:03sometimes you are labeled A Shia with a negative connotation.
- 30:09Not that it's something we're not proud of.
- 30:10We'd die with this label, you know?
- 30:13It's just a bit annoying. To be honest.
- 30:14I I don't know whether that's I. Think it's an annoyance I'm
- 30:17willing to pay, though? Yeah, in order to be proudly,
- 30:20unapologetically. I'll handle that annoyance and.
- 30:24I don't think a minimum mining was like some people say minimum
- 30:28mining. You know, a few weeks ago when
- 30:29we were talking about Fatima and we talk the the questions that
- 30:32arise every year about where was Imam Ali al Islam at that time
- 30:37and where was Imam Ali when, when, when they were taking at
- 30:41Sakifa, when they were doing. Why didn't he stand up?
- 30:44He had all those years, 20 plus years, why didn't he stand up?
- 30:47You know, I mean, what many knew when to stand up and he knew how
- 30:50to stand up, whether it's in Jamal, whether it's Shakshakiya.
- 30:53You look at these different instances where Minamat Mini and
- 30:56Islam spoke up. Either you know, with his words,
- 30:59with his writing or even with the sword occasions.
- 31:03He knew what to do, like he had divine wisdom.
- 31:05There were easy surely is to say, brother.
- 31:06Ahmed, you know, where was he? Why didn't he?
- 31:09Living comfortably here in the 21st century?
- 31:11If you were there in Medina, during an upheaval and a
- 31:15usurpation of an establishment that Rasulullah worked
- 31:21effortlessly to establish, it's not easy.
- 31:24It's not easy to see suddenly the OMA turning back on its
- 31:27heels. The Quran said it that should he
- 31:34either die or be killed, yes, you'll return back again to the
- 31:37ways of the past. And that was foreshadowing that.
- 31:40There's going to be this wave of betrayal.
- 31:44That's what it is. Betrayal.
- 31:45Backstop. All that hard working.
- 31:47Just backstop. The messenger of God.
- 31:48He hasn't been buried yet. We're going to take care of this
- 31:52yet, and you're already starting this pseudo election.
- 31:55Have you ever seen an election where the electorate is not even
- 31:57present? First of all, it's the bogus
- 31:59election to begin with. I would even meet you halfway.
- 32:02Do your election at least have everyone there to voice their
- 32:06for example, it's really the most critical people.
- 32:09Do your election, but first get your priorities straight.
- 32:11Or Sotola needs to have his honor fulfilled by being buried
- 32:14properly. People who raised these
- 32:16concerns. Why wasn't he?
- 32:18Why didn't he? It's easy for us to say now.
- 32:20Look at what happened back then. Does your mom Ali touch on this
- 32:23and shakshapaya? He does.
- 32:24He does. He's like, I had to be patient.
- 32:26There was a mortification of the throat prickling in the eye.
- 32:29It was not easy. The Prophet told me it was going
- 32:31to happen. And he said hold back your sword
- 32:35if you don't find enough supporters.
- 32:36But if you do, do what you can. And the supporters came and they
- 32:40said, yeah, Ali, this, this is not fair.
- 32:42We wanted you. We knew it was all about you.
- 32:45And we're willing to lay our lives out for you.
- 32:47Approximately about 500 said under the condition you show up
- 32:50tomorrow with your Headset Bowl. Like, yeah, this is nothing.
- 32:53Of course we'll do it the next day.
- 32:55Only about four or five come. Salman Mekdad Abu Dhar Allah
- 32:59Zubair Interestingly were there and they're like we're here for
- 33:02you. I there'd be a lot of me and I
- 33:03was like, it's not enough. Just go back.
- 33:05I don't want bloodshed and carnage to occur right now.
- 33:08So for the sake of the Oma, I must remain resilient and
- 33:12resistant in this manner. I've had a hadith and I think
- 33:15we've mentioned it before on the podcast from one of the other in
- 33:18my little slam. I think it was a Mam Sadaq al
- 33:20Islam similar like in reference to that when he was on near a
- 33:25farm and one of the companions said why did the middleman not
- 33:27stand up. He said there are 8 chickens or
- 33:308 animals sheep here or something.
- 33:32If a middleman million had as many true supporters as there
- 33:34are animals here on this farm, then he would have stood up.
- 33:37And it's it's specifically in reference to the what you said
- 33:40say in in shark Sofia when he talks about the the oppression
- 33:43he faced. Minamot Minin was the most grand
- 33:45of men at the time, the most credible, the men at the time,
- 33:48the most patient, the most strong, but at the same time is
- 33:50also the most oppressed. You know the oppression that
- 33:52Minamot Minin witnessed from birth till death really unlike
- 33:56anyone else. You know the fact that he had to
- 33:59witness the Martin of Salam Mohammed Sallallahu Salam.
- 34:02Of course he lost his parents and then he lost Fatim to Zahar
- 34:06Salam. I I know her.
- 34:07And then the knowledge that of what would happen both in the
- 34:10political side of of the Islamic Ummah and also the downfall and
- 34:15the the the the, the the worsening conditions of the
- 34:18Ummah in terms of their living and their knowledge and their
- 34:20island and their guidance. And then ultimately to know what
- 34:23the fate was to be for his sons. And when you see the the will
- 34:26that Miramoto Mini wrote at the end of his life, it just goes to
- 34:29show that Miramoto Mini obviously he's not telling mom
- 34:32and has in the Islam, you know I don't trust you.
- 34:34So here's all the things you need to do.
- 34:35He's telling us and he's telling the shit out of the time that
- 34:37the Muslims at the time. And it just maybe rings alarm
- 34:41bells as to what the situation was at that specific point in
- 34:44time or even just what had gathered over the previous 30
- 34:48years. Because obviously a minimum mini
- 34:49had those four years where Imam Hassan was his treasurer, where
- 34:52poverty in the Omar was eradicated because of the
- 34:55stances that Imam Mini took. And Amazing Minstain always had
- 34:58this argument whether we could call a minimum.
- 35:00We need a politician. I say yes, he's a politician.
- 35:03He was the greatest politician. I say he's a leader.
- 35:05What? Do you say I think leaders are
- 35:07great with? Everything else falls under it,
- 35:09yeah. I think, I don't know we can get
- 35:12this conversation with you another day.
- 35:13I mean it's also the standards for semantics should.
- 35:15Be Yeah, he. Absolutely raised the bar and no
- 35:19one will ever reach where he raised it until Sahab is the
- 35:22moment with her job a lot. I love Joe Sharif.
- 35:25But you made a beautiful point that later on in his life it
- 35:28just gets worse and worse that the battles that he's accused of
- 35:32being responsible for. You were responsible for the
- 35:35death of Earth Mine, if not fun and you're hiding the killers
- 35:38subsequently. Give us them or else we're going
- 35:41to go after you. So then the estranged wife or
- 35:44the prophet meets up in Jamal of sorry of Basra.
- 35:48And what would then be the battle of Jamal if the crime
- 35:51happened in Medina? Why go there?
- 35:54What's going on? Then you're suddenly armed with
- 35:56men. Imam then has to send his
- 35:57forces. Let's not make this into a
- 35:59problem. A battle happens so suddenly
- 36:02he's thrown into a war. Who wants to start this?
- 36:05No one wants to be put in this situation.
- 36:06Against who? The estranged wife of the
- 36:09Prophet. It's not worth it.
- 36:11Like we like to say is that man man.
- 36:12He used to be the wife of the prophet.
- 36:14I'm his son-in-law. This shouldn't really happen.
- 36:16And the Imam tried his hardest. But let's not make this happen
- 36:20until they shot the first arrow. Yeah, he's like Hollis, this is
- 36:23it is what it is. Now it's just self-defense.
- 36:26The imam did what he did and later on returned back to Kufa.
- 36:31From that moment on battle #2 sophine kicks in while he
- 36:35revives the same allegation. You're responsible for the death
- 36:39of the man in Medina. Sorry.
- 36:41And so the war happens. What makes matters worse is that
- 36:45from the members fighting with Imam Ali, they realize that the
- 36:49opposition is now raising the Quran and saying let the Quran
- 36:53judge, let's not fight anymore because now they see that Imam's
- 36:56making much progress. So let's do something quickly
- 36:59that Imam's supporters see the Quran and actually become swayed
- 37:02by that. And why are we finding someone
- 37:04who's saying let the Quran judge us?
- 37:05How hard is reformed? They come and they say, Ali,
- 37:09we're not going to proceed. And I says, wait, hakum, come
- 37:12on. I'm the This is deception.
- 37:15Don't let him fool you. They said no.
- 37:18Are you serious? You're going to be like that?
- 37:19I said no. Among them was Abdulrahman bin
- 37:21Mujum. Among them were many others that
- 37:23later on were famous names. Interestingly, Abdullah, Ali,
- 37:28Bali. A few others actually.
- 37:31Yeah, yeah, yeah. And these riff raffs, they were
- 37:34with the Imam at first. Suddenly they formed their own
- 37:38group. They betrayed him.
- 37:39Now imagine you have to deal with people who were once your
- 37:42supporters and your current adversaries that still stand.
- 37:45Then later on you return back to Kufa because the wars has
- 37:49stopped because khawaj is not a problem.
- 37:51Nahrawan emerges because the same Khawajor wants your friends
- 37:54who are using your own weapons at one point that were used to
- 37:57fight the actual enemy of Allah. Now they're using it against
- 38:00you. The Imam goes to them and he
- 38:02preaches. Guys think it's Akullah.
- 38:05They said yeah Ali we can't do this.
- 38:07You are wrong Hakim. And so is Mahalia Bahuadra
- 38:09against both parties. This is guys.
- 38:11This is not right until they committed a murder of one of
- 38:15Imam Ali's representatives and his wife and they killed her and
- 38:19they threw her body and her child in the river.
- 38:21Imam couldn't handle this. Like now it stops and so they
- 38:24said to the imam ya Ali this might be a bad war.
- 38:27Imam said none from them will survive except 9 and none from
- 38:31us will die except nine. They fought exactly.
- 38:35Only nine of the Hawaters survived and he just let them
- 38:38go. He's dealing with so many civil
- 38:41wars and conflicts. I can't handle.
- 38:43I just can't. I don't know how anyone can
- 38:44process that. The stress levels.
- 38:46Yeah. At the same time, this is where
- 38:48the discussion of leader and the greatest political man ever
- 38:51comes in. There is no economic recession
- 38:55that the Muslim Oma is arriving from a financial standpoint such
- 39:00that in the last year after Hijra, after the 30, after the
- 39:0440th year where the Imam was about to be martyred, there was
- 39:07not one person from Beitul mall who was eligible for Sadaka.
- 39:13He. Eradicated poverty, he and he
- 39:16was the one that said, saying Lokan El fakro Rajulan.
- 39:21Had poverty been a man, I would have killed him.
- 39:23Well, you did, Yeah, technically speaking, and reports indicate
- 39:27Kanata Nas, all people would eat whole wheat bread.
- 39:34They all had food and they would sleep under shade.
- 39:38Everyone had something to sleep under and they would drink the
- 39:43Rufried's River, the inalienable human rights of food, water and
- 39:48shelter. Imam Ali took care of it such
- 39:51that Kofi Annan, the head of the UN in 2000, comes and makes the
- 39:54beautiful statement that the greatest example of the just
- 39:56political leader in history is Alibaba Talib.
- 39:59I let the Arab nations take him as their role model because who
- 40:03can do this with three ongoing civil wars and still managed to
- 40:07not tolerate injustice and oppression from a political
- 40:10standpoint? His sermon and letter to Malik.
- 40:13See the people like you. They're brothers or equals in
- 40:15humanity. How are you willing to consider
- 40:18this with all that is going on and still be #1 in your
- 40:22relationship with Allah, with your family, with the societal
- 40:26needs and he's walking in the town and saying anyone needs
- 40:29something, I I am here for you. He helps that Lady and she's
- 40:33like, I condemn Ali for killing my husband.
- 40:36Her husband was probably part of one of the wars that against the
- 40:40imam and the imam is quiet. He says ask a lot to forgive him
- 40:44then. And then later on, after the
- 40:46third day of helping her by delivering her food, they ask
- 40:50her, do you know who that man is with you everyday?
- 40:52Divilling. That's Eileen himself.
- 40:54They're like and I am cursing him in front of his face saying,
- 40:57had it not been for Eileen, my husband would still be here and
- 41:00I'm condemning him. He didn't do anything.
- 41:02So that's who he is. Yeah, that's who he is.
- 41:04And. He did all of that whilst
- 41:05accountable of his rights. You know that story of the
- 41:08candle? I I God that is the the most.
- 41:11I can't get my head around it. We all know the story of when
- 41:14the man came to visit middle mount Munin and the middle Mount
- 41:17Munin was working on his desk with a candle.
- 41:19When the man came he said just to say is it about business or
- 41:22personal? Is it about the government or is
- 41:24it about a personal? But he said no, it's personal,
- 41:26it's no problem. He put the candle out.
- 41:28He lit a new candle. The man said, why did you do
- 41:30that? Because the candle was paid for
- 41:32by the state and I cannot be using the, the, the, the
- 41:37possessions of the state for my own personal affairs or for for
- 41:39a personal conversation. I remember I was speaking to my
- 41:42dad about that story years ago. My dad told me, he said this is
- 41:45the way we we have a family business.
- 41:47He said this is the way we should run our business.
- 41:49And small things like that dozens of, you know, thousands
- 41:52of years later, thousands of miles away should have
- 41:54repercussions. So that when we live our
- 41:56day-to-day lives, whether it's in business or in our family
- 41:58affairs or in our social affairs with our spouses, with our
- 42:01children, we take small examples like that and we apply it to our
- 42:04lives. Last question said, because I
- 42:06know we've been speaking for a long time, we are perhaps in a
- 42:09time where a lot of our listeners Hamdallah, are.
- 42:12Maybe you're on Mum. I didn't have it up.
- 42:14I can go on forever. I know This is why and I know
- 42:16you're on a deadline stage. Otherwise we can go for another
- 42:18three or four hours. Charlotte, four months, three or
- 42:21four months. Honestly from me last question,
- 42:25I'm sure Sage got something to add.
- 42:26But you know Hamdallah, a lot of us are on a journey,
- 42:28specifically our our listeners. We always engage and you know we
- 42:32we are so blessed to have a community which supports us but
- 42:35also kind of DMS us a lot and shares their own stories and
- 42:39their own kind of issues and and what not.
- 42:42A lot of people are trying to find that bridge which will
- 42:48permanently connect them to our last panel to Allah.
- 42:50Just some will say the hijab is a struggle for me.
- 42:54Some will say I have an issue because I have a history with
- 42:57the opposite gender. Some will say I'm listening to
- 42:59music and I'm I can't get off the addiction.
- 43:02How can we use a mirror Mummy Nin as an inspiration,
- 43:06specifically in regards to the way he spoke to Alas Palata
- 43:10Allah through the multiple idea that we have from Him and things
- 43:14like that, so so that our youth in the West today can work on
- 43:18removing and and improving their flaws and getting close to Alas
- 43:21Palata. I would say when you bring it
- 43:23back to my minimum meaning, a major variable that I would say
- 43:29leads to the success of any person that aspires to become
- 43:32more like him is the genuinity of Imam Aleb.
- 43:36Nebilala was very clear and evident.
- 43:38He never did anything for his own personal gain or need.
- 43:41As you mentioned the story about the candles for example, if we
- 43:44can take that and apply it to. I genuinely want to develop my
- 43:48relationship with you, Ya Allah. You know earlier we had this
- 43:51program about where is the Rahma of Allah.
- 43:54Many people will struggle about finding mercy in light of a
- 43:57difficult situation. That's not to say that this is a
- 44:00bad question to ask. You're asking where, not why.
- 44:04Yeah. Where is it?
- 44:04I believe it exists, but I don't see it.
- 44:07So there's always a genuine inclination in every person's
- 44:10heart and in their fitrah to eventually want to see Allah.
- 44:13Want to see the truth, Want to see justice.
- 44:16Now Imam Adam in his own lines reflects sincerity and
- 44:21genuinity. Just look at document he is
- 44:24beyond ever having flaws or errors but he doesn't mind
- 44:28saying Allah and he says that and he's flawless.
- 44:37So whom I now not to come and say Allah.
- 44:40I know I have shortcomings but I'm not going to let them set me
- 44:44back. Because if I'd even thought of
- 44:46flawless as he is, is willing to open his heart to a lot in such
- 44:50a matter, then what is expected upon me?
- 44:53Let me at least give it a shot, take the step and say yeah a
- 44:56lot. I want a relationship with you,
- 44:58but I'm going to use the Wassila of Imam to have that bridge as
- 45:03you said, to get to my Lord because Ali loves you and you
- 45:08love him. That's what Allah says and I
- 45:13will give this banner to a man. He loves God and God loves him.
- 45:24The Messenger of God also loved him, always advancing, never
- 45:28retreating. That next day came and it was
- 45:31none other than. When we incorporate that genuine
- 45:36and that quality of sincerity, we will definitely build that
- 45:40bridge of the Rehman and relationship of Allah.
- 45:43It's. Like you scripted and say to you
- 45:47proper eloquent guys guy like the definition of personified
- 45:50swag. No, honestly.
- 45:52Personified what swag say honestly you you exuberate love
- 45:56and will liar takes. One to know one.
- 45:59Marshall Allah, Mellah, always bless you, saying May Allah.
- 46:02Bless you too. I said, you know, my mind went
- 46:05to, you know, here we are speaking about the status and
- 46:07the character of Imam Ali Ali Salaam.
- 46:10And I'm just thinking, you know, we live in the 21st century and
- 46:13I still can't comprehend or understand why people choose to
- 46:18ignore Imam Ali Allah. And when you have Imam Ali we
- 46:23mentioned earlier in the conversation, born in the cabin,
- 46:26raised by Rasul Allah, you know arguably people say he was the
- 46:31first young one to accept Islam. We all know he believed in
- 46:34Tauheid way before he declared his you know, belief in La Ilah
- 46:39Al Allah, Hamad Rasul Allah. On top of that we always hear
- 46:42Rasul Allah when in the 21st century we have easy access to
- 46:45the Internet, easy access to books from all sects, from all
- 46:49beliefs that say when Kuntumaullah Ali, Ali Al Haq
- 46:55well Haqqumah Ali. Wherever you see the truth you
- 46:58find Ali. You know the position of Ali is
- 47:01like Harunas to Musa or you know there is so much things where
- 47:05these are coming from the mouth of Rasul Allah, Muhammad,
- 47:09Sallallahu Ali, Ali Wasalam. Why would anyone ignore Rasul
- 47:14Allah? If we say Rasul Allah as our
- 47:15prophet, the final messenger chosen by Allah, Subhanawat
- 47:19Allah, why would we go against the very man we claim to be
- 47:23represents Allah? Yeah, I don't know what to say
- 47:26to that one. It's such a because it's so
- 47:28obvious. I would say it's ignorance, but
- 47:30I don't know because when you have.
- 47:32Access to all. It's intellectual oppression.
- 47:35When you lose someone like Imam Ali, you lost everything because
- 47:39you lose the inheritor of the Prophet.
- 47:40When you lose Imam Ali, you lose the culmination of his
- 47:44sacrifices, the Quran. You best understand it through
- 47:47Imam Ali. I would venture to say that I'm
- 47:52not going to put blame on people.
- 47:54I don't think people maliciously from a lying in tension
- 47:57deliberately avoiding who would, but they're definitely are
- 48:01agendas and power hungry figures throughout history that have
- 48:04tried their hardest to suppress the significance of Imam and
- 48:09Mimamini. You look at famous books that
- 48:13have a compilation of a hadith only about an odd 70 only from
- 48:17Imam like he lived 30 years with the Prophet, he doesn't have
- 48:20more than 70 and these are canonical works.
- 48:23There's clearly a censorship going on and when you have
- 48:26empires and governments that hated the Imam, of course not
- 48:30going to tolerate publications of books.
- 48:33A brief example, and this is a sad one honestly.
- 48:36In the Hakim El Mansour de la Niri, the one responsible for
- 48:40killing Imam Asad Saddam Ali Hadi, he administered for a
- 48:44government that has a constitution in his lifetime and
- 48:48he ordered one of the largest judges, Malek Bananas, the
- 48:52founder of the Malek school of thought, essentially to make a
- 48:55constitution that was accessible to people.
- 48:58He would say well make it accessible to them.
- 49:01Hence he wrote the MWAPA. When he writes the MWAPA he says
- 49:04on one condition though don't include a hadith from Imam
- 49:08Hadith Nibitaudiba have one hadith from So what am I going
- 49:13to do when I have a government that says hey don't don't
- 49:15publish his books. One of the one of our Grand
- 49:18Ullama Ayatollah Shaheed say Muhammad Bakra Sadar.
- 49:22My father mentions when he they were younger they were on his
- 49:25taklid back in the day in the 70s he says and brings it more
- 49:29close to home when he mentions that the Baptist regime at the
- 49:32time banned are having his book at any home.
- 49:37If you were caught holding holding his men haja sada Hain
- 49:40for a comma Phil and rulings that's you were you were alleged
- 49:45you were bound to be imprisoned for that one because he this
- 49:47guy's against the government he's against this and so my
- 49:50father would say whenever we want just to learn what his
- 49:52ruling is on Ms. Edit we would have to dig it out from the
- 49:56backyard because that's where we would have to hide it.
- 49:58I'll block just to learn the Phil of Baharana Jasa.
- 50:01Now we have his paddle all accessible here with our
- 50:03libraries. But but The thing is this, that
- 50:06was a circumstance at the time. Now imagine go back to Harun
- 50:11Rashid Abbasi had Judge Benoussafa Dakhvi most of the
- 50:15day. One they would not tolerate a
- 50:17person naming their kid. I didn't, let alone publishing a
- 50:21book with his Paula and in his merits, for example.
- 50:23So it's the consistent effort of evil governments, regimes,
- 50:28authorities. But even then, somehow, you
- 50:31know, Ali still continues to shine.
- 50:32It's. Still shine through.
- 50:33All of them. It's.
- 50:35It's amazing. And they still all prey towards
- 50:37the direction. Of the birds of the camera.
- 50:41Camera. It's a reminder for everyone.
- 50:44I just want to talk about this as well.
- 50:46You know, it's a beautiful crack, this crack on the cab.
- 50:48I say, isn't it? Isn't this like the?
- 50:50Marking is there. It's like it's in your face.
- 50:52I don't know how else to say it. And what else do you want?
- 50:55The The interesting thing is, historically speaking, despite
- 50:59the Kaaba being demolished a number of times, Hadjaj
- 51:02demolished it and Yazid demolished it.
- 51:07When they were demolished, they rebuilt the Kaaba a number of
- 51:10times and they had to fix it up throughout the years.
- 51:13Naturally, for some reason, no marking on a Rocknelli Amani,
- 51:18the southern corner of the Kaaba, remains a testament to
- 51:22somehow this area opened up and then somehow this area closed
- 51:26up. So.
- 51:28Ajib it's it's you can't, you can't deny anything Marsha, you
- 51:32can't deny Ali. Ali was was there and he will
- 51:35remain until the end of time inshaallah.
- 51:37And what was Ali will remain Ali and will be Ali when Imam Ali
- 51:41returns. Habibi just one observation if
- 51:46we want to just summarize this, don't look at history, we
- 51:49mentioned books a lot. Don't look at books history.
- 51:51Just think of terms hak you said it earlier.
- 51:55Ali Imam Ali, Muhammad Ali. Fatima Ali Baddar Ali.
- 52:02Haber Ali Honda. Ali Ohod Ali.
- 52:05Her name Ali with truth. Truth is with him knowledge.
- 52:10Ali El Ali Tohid Ali Hassan Hussein Ali Al Batul Ali.
- 52:16Where do you want to go from this?
- 52:18Just think of these terms. Which one maximizes all of them?
- 52:21Ali Victory in Baddar through a mirror, mini conduct through a,
- 52:25through A and the reviver of the message of Islam in the 21st
- 52:31century today will only remain through the Shia of the.
- 52:44Thank you so much. My honour man will always.
- 52:47Give you the opportunity to continue the Vicar of Manin.
- 52:52Allah, right here. You know, at the beginning of
- 52:56the conversation, I I thought that he asked how I was doing.
- 52:59I said I'm excited because I know this conversation is going
- 53:02to take us. And.
- 53:03I don't want to turn. I know.
- 53:07I know we have to. Go I just a laughing from you
- 53:10guys. I mean, I'm sure everyone at
- 53:12home will agree this has been one of the most exciting
- 53:14conversations and there's like a 99% chance you probably already
- 53:19follow, said on Instagram. I wanted to touch on this.
- 53:22And yeah, I mean, look, I'm just very quickly Insta a little bit.
- 53:25For those who don't know, is your your project Marshall Law
- 53:28and brother? Mustafa is still brother.
- 53:29Most of us so far, so great contributor to it.
- 53:34We have another admin, brother Ayla Khani and I'm just someone
- 53:36that comes every now and then does live stream so but I didn't
- 53:40pay you for that. Shout out, by the way.

- 53:47will always remain that way. Thank you fans honestly and we
- 53:51we thank you for your work and you know you now like your name
- 53:54on Instagram is learn Shia Islam.
- 53:56But I think for all of us, that is our goal, Inshallah, even if
- 53:58we are. And I commend the both of you
- 54:00because there's so much demand, very little supply to present
- 54:05the way of life of the Imams of Ahlidbait Islam.
- 54:08Ahlidbait in a digestible aesthetic manner.
- 54:12We go through the efforts of trying not to even include
- 54:15English comprehensive words fairly surely anymore.
- 54:18We want people to understand what they're saying.
- 54:20So when we go and translate things and we present them, we
- 54:24make sure, hey, if you're just some person that is not familiar
- 54:27with this worldview, will you digest this?
- 54:30Will you comprehend this? And as soon as we did it,
- 54:33Hamdulillah feedback came in. Thank God there's a large
- 54:37substantial following. But that just goes to show that
- 54:40there's so much demand and very little supply.
- 54:42And I can definitely say that part of those who are giving
- 54:45supply in this area are you guys with Aftermath as well?
- 54:48With. The topics that are done in such
- 54:51an informal semi professional, but this is how you do it in the
