- 1:08Speaker 5: beautiful everywhere in the world. CAZy, I had a monster,
- 1:11Speaker 5: but nobody, nobody had a bigger weekend than Christopher key Z.
- 1:18Speaker 4: I don't know if I didn't have the biggest weekend
- 1:21Speaker 4: out of everyone in New Zealand. Listen to him, what
- 1:23Speaker 4: do you mean, listen to I sound great?
- 1:24Speaker 3: Made As soon as I walked in the office, I
- 1:27Speaker 3: caught his eyes. He's got the old Drew pist. He's
- 1:32Speaker 3: got the sort of a little bit of stubble happening.
- 1:36Speaker 3: What you're going to understand about Keys is he's usually
- 1:39Speaker 3: very very immaculate, you know, with this waxing of his hair,
- 1:43Speaker 3: shaving and moisturizing years, he's looking a bit green around
- 1:47Speaker 3: the girls, green around the girls today.
- 1:49Speaker 4: As look, guys, I'm gonna front foot it. I am hungover. Okay,
- 1:54Speaker 4: I am hung over, So let's just lock that a right.
- 1:59Speaker 4: It's all good, Jace, No judgment here, Jace.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you look great, thanks man, you.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Look really really good. I wish I look like that.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I bet you do.
- 2:08Speaker 4: I love your new boots as well.
- 2:09Speaker 2: One day, easy, one day you might.
- 2:13Speaker 5: We've got a lot of check coming up and we'll
- 2:14Speaker 5: get to it in a second. But Jason's got some
- 2:16Speaker 5: new boots. Yeah, we need you to go to Instagram
- 2:20Speaker 5: and check out Jason's new boots and just leave a
- 2:22Speaker 5: comment about the boots. You absolutely do, and we're going
- 2:27Speaker 5: to read them all out just to cheer Jason up
- 2:29Speaker 5: about them because he's not too sure. But what I
- 2:32Speaker 5: love about them is the reason why you've got them,
- 2:34Speaker 5: these white boots, is because they matched the buttons on
- 2:36Speaker 5: your Johnny Cash.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Shit.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Now, I just need to clarify straight away, they're not white.
- 2:43Speaker 3: They're tan or as called them neutral colored.
- 2:48Speaker 2: They're not white.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Jason's got his neutral boots on.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Oh yeah, hey, but what too many people will feel
- 2:54Speaker 5: neutral about.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I've got I feel like it's going to be a
- 2:58Speaker 3: pugsun beret scenario for But that's all right, you know,
- 3:03Speaker 3: I'm gonna own it, man, I'm gonna own it. Hey, Mogi,
- 3:06Speaker 3: what's coming up on the show. What's happening on the
- 3:12Speaker 3: Big Show with Old Mogi?
- 3:14Speaker 5: Another day, another opportunity to get yourself into the drawer
- 3:17Speaker 5: for the Export Ultra Berguin and Tour. The Breakfast Boys
- 3:20Speaker 5: and Glan are heading over to the NRAL Grand Final
- 3:23Speaker 5: in October. Let'sten know if youre cu to call and
- 3:24Speaker 5: you could get yourself in the draw. Not only that, fellows,
- 3:27Speaker 5: we'll be talking to the legend, the man, the myth,
- 3:31Speaker 5: Gubby Charlie Gub, former Warriors, absolute legend about how the
- 3:34Speaker 5: Warriors went over the weekend. And in fact, we're going
- 3:36Speaker 5: to do quite a lot of sports chat today because
- 3:37Speaker 5: it was a massive weekend, massive weekend. As previously mentioned,
- 3:43Speaker 5: we will have a discussion around Jason's boots. You're not
- 3:46Speaker 5: gonna want to miss that. And apparently we're going to
- 3:49Speaker 5: talk about things that we convince ourselves of before we
- 3:52Speaker 5: get steamed.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Well, who's brought that to the chat? I don't.
- 3:55Speaker 4: I'm not gonna lie. I forgot I even sent that
- 3:58Speaker 4: idea through.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Were you steamed? Time?
- 4:00Speaker 4: Yeah, this is a great idea.
- 4:03Speaker 2: This is gonna work well on Monday. Yeah, here's epically out.
- 4:08Speaker 1: The whole Archy Big Show week days from four on
- 4:11Speaker 1: Radio Hold.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Archies indeed read Chili Peppers.
- 4:14Speaker 3: There on the radio Hodarchy Big Show this Monday afternoon.
- 4:18Speaker 3: The time thirteen minutes past four o'clock, Feelers.
- 4:22Speaker 4: As mentioned earlier, I sent this content through at about
- 4:24Speaker 4: nine pm on Saturday night. I was at a restaurant
- 4:27Speaker 4: with my wife and her lovely friends and they were
- 4:29Speaker 4: all catching up her high school mates. Oh yeah, and
- 4:33Speaker 4: I don't.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Well, I'm just going off what you were saying earlier.
- 4:36Speaker 4: But oh, do be sorry tricked, you're true. And me
- 4:39Speaker 4: and one of the plus ones we were sitting there
- 4:41Speaker 4: drinking cocktails.
- 4:43Speaker 5: Responsible what sort of things are you going with the
- 4:45Speaker 5: akizi when you're out in about a drink?
- 4:47Speaker 2: Wise?
- 4:48Speaker 4: Yeah, so it was a Mixican restaurant, very nice ones,
- 4:49Speaker 4: So Margie's nice. We were on the old Margie.
- 4:52Speaker 2: They were called good.
- 4:54Speaker 4: And so, and then we're into the very responsibly, into
- 4:58Speaker 4: the what's the stuff made with red wine? Yeah, we
- 5:03Speaker 4: decided to saying grea. It was a good idea. And
- 5:05Speaker 4: the thing was, and the the interesting thing was, whilst
- 5:11Speaker 4: me and him were sitting there, we were really in
- 5:13Speaker 4: a dilemma. It was like, hey, tomorrow is the big day.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Tomorrow is the Wars game, you know, and you don't
- 5:17Speaker 4: want to be hungover for the Wars game. No, responsibly,
- 5:20Speaker 4: but somehow we had a bit of a power out
- 5:23Speaker 4: and we were convinced. We convinced each other that it
- 5:25Speaker 4: was a smart decision to keep having cocktails and stuff.
- 5:30Speaker 4: And at the time I was like, this is this
- 5:32Speaker 4: makes perfect sense, Like the way we're speaking, this is
- 5:34Speaker 4: so Lodge like this is I should have more saying
- 5:38Speaker 4: grea tonight. And the mentality behind it was like, yo,
- 5:41Speaker 4: because we didn't want to do is coming tomorrow. You
- 5:42Speaker 4: know you need to establish a base tonight, like establish.
- 5:46Speaker 2: An alcoholic base. Yeah you're talking about here.
- 5:49Speaker 4: But I don't know. Yeah, pretty much was like, because
- 5:51Speaker 4: you know you want to you don't want to just
- 5:53Speaker 4: be coming in front foot tomorrow you might peak to
- 5:55Speaker 4: blah blah blah blah. This is real smart. And I
- 5:56Speaker 4: was like convinced. And then by the end of it,
- 5:58Speaker 4: we'd ordered like all.
- 5:59Speaker 5: These when there's conversations going on, though, you must already
- 6:02Speaker 5: be passed out.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, well obviously, yes.
- 6:05Speaker 5: The idea that the that the solution, the way that
- 6:10Speaker 5: you're gonna have a good day the next day is
- 6:11Speaker 5: by sitting a base of being drunk the day before.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Yes, it sort of falls apart.
- 6:16Speaker 5: You know, as soon as you're even you know, lightly prodded,
- 6:19Speaker 5: the whole argument collapses. Yeah, so you have to be
- 6:23Speaker 5: pested already. Yeah, so by the time you're having this conversation,
- 6:26Speaker 5: it's already too late.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's already you're already too far gone.
- 6:29Speaker 4: I was convincing myself.
- 6:30Speaker 3: But there was you know, I used to have that
- 6:32Speaker 3: mentality back in the day, where exactly that if I
- 6:36Speaker 3: had a thing the next morning and I'd be drinking
- 6:38Speaker 3: with mate to be like, Okay, well we'll set a good,
- 6:41Speaker 3: solid base and tomorrow we'll just have.
- 6:43Speaker 2: To top it up.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Yeah, you'll just's terrible.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Well, a couple of exactly.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I mean, we were responsibly, we were steamed when we
- 6:53Speaker 3: were making that decision. And of course that's not what
- 6:55Speaker 3: happens at all. You just go on a three day
- 6:57Speaker 3: being and.
- 6:57Speaker 4: I don't recommend any of the above. I couldn't, you know,
- 7:01Speaker 4: not recommend it highly enough. Yeah, that does make sense,
- 7:03Speaker 4: but I just, yeah, I just it was almost as
- 7:06Speaker 4: if he was just explaining something super straightforward, like ah,
- 7:10Speaker 4: a chicken laser the egg and then the egg hatches
- 7:13Speaker 4: into another check in, and I was that's the kind
- 7:15Speaker 4: of logic I was hearing. So, yeah, that makes perfect sense.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Of course, that's how he's telling you what you want
- 7:20Speaker 2: to hear that, yes.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Yeah, But then I was telling him what he wanted
- 7:22Speaker 4: to do, and the oly person didn't want to hear
- 7:24Speaker 4: any of it was my wife and her friends.
- 7:26Speaker 3: And the reality is when you're in that state no
- 7:29Speaker 3: one wants to put a pull a handbrake on it,
- 7:32Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 7:32Speaker 2: It's like I'm.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Feeling good and actually, you know, I have a few
- 7:37Speaker 3: beusies at the game. Tell you responsibly tomorrow it'll be
- 7:40Speaker 3: all Jim.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Had he ever do this, I've got to. I've got to,
- 7:43Speaker 5: you know, just leep myself. He have a good time
- 7:44Speaker 5: every now and again. I've just got to cutose.
- 7:47Speaker 4: And you know what I mean, I didn't really say
- 7:48Speaker 4: I hardly ever do it.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Yeah, well that.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Would be a massive I mean, you'd have to be
- 7:53Speaker 3: really pest to say that.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Three four eight three. One of the things you convince
- 7:59Speaker 4: yourself of when you are responsibly getting stuck in fifty
- 8:03Speaker 4: or Reburg about his uphograbslet's three four right three.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Yeah, great staff made. In the meantime, he's faith no more.
- 8:12Speaker 1: The Darky Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kezy tune
- 8:16Speaker 1: in week dayd four on Radio Hodarchies.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Indeed Queens of the Stone Age. There on the Radio
- 8:21Speaker 3: Hodarchy Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is twenty
- 8:25Speaker 3: six minutes past four o'clock.
- 8:28Speaker 4: If you hit see the Hidarcky Big Shows Instagram page,
- 8:30Speaker 4: you'll see a lovely video that it's also on the
- 8:32Speaker 4: Radio Huducky Facebook. A lovely video that Pugs has put
- 8:34Speaker 4: together of Jason's new boots. Now, Jason has gone out
- 8:37Speaker 4: shopping and his wife has picked him out some lovely boots. No,
- 8:40Speaker 4: and we just want to get the audience all over.
- 8:43Speaker 3: And that curate on two fronts there. We didn't go
- 8:46Speaker 3: out shopping. We was just cruising around and we popped
- 8:49Speaker 3: into a shop.
- 8:50Speaker 4: And did she picked them out for you?
- 8:52Speaker 2: No?
- 8:52Speaker 4: You pecked them.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Yes, she allowed it. What she did, she likes them.
- 8:58Speaker 3: And what she did said me which caused me some alarms,
- 9:02Speaker 3: was she said, well they're not as horrendous as Keysy's floaters.
- 9:07Speaker 4: That is not something she said. That is not something one.
- 9:11Speaker 2: What she said, well, my new.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Balance is not of that bad anyway.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Let me talk you through.
- 9:16Speaker 4: It feels so hurdaky. Big show Instagram, you go have
- 9:20Speaker 4: a look there at the video and let us know
- 9:21Speaker 4: your thoughts on the boot boots. You can also look
- 9:23Speaker 4: on the Radiohoducky facebook page.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Look, I think it's fair to say that, you know,
- 9:29Speaker 3: I'm having to work through these particular boots. I saw
- 9:33Speaker 3: them at a op shop and they were top quality. Now,
- 9:36Speaker 3: first and foremost, in my defense, they are in the
- 9:41Speaker 3: men's shoes. So my immediate thought was, okay, well they're
- 9:45Speaker 3: men's shoes.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Why would you bring that up?
- 9:48Speaker 3: Well, because I found something out further down the line
- 9:52Speaker 3: that may, you know, contradict that particular thing. Now, can
- 9:57Speaker 3: I just say also that they are top quality.
- 10:00Speaker 2: They are very comfortable. They are not white, they are beige.
- 10:05Speaker 4: They're neutral, that beije sort of your neutral. And they
- 10:08Speaker 4: slip on.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Do they have laces flesh colored? Do they have laces? No,
- 10:12Speaker 2: they don't have laces.
- 10:13Speaker 4: So they slip on the slip on boots.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Retailing at three hundred and seventy dollars brand new. Now,
- 10:21Speaker 3: these boots are pretty much brand new, and I got
- 10:24Speaker 3: them for sixty We went for I didn't buy them immediately.
- 10:29Speaker 3: We walked down Ponto Me Road. I came back and went.
- 10:31Speaker 4: You know what, so you thought about it and you
- 10:33Speaker 4: still I thought about.
- 10:34Speaker 3: It, and I went, I'm going to I'm going to
- 10:35Speaker 3: go out on the square, you know, go outside the box,
- 10:38Speaker 3: and I'm going to run with it.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Now.
- 10:41Speaker 3: I put them on, and I saw myself in them
- 10:44Speaker 3: at home. I didn't see myself in them in the shop.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Which is crazy. And I went, oh, geez, you push it.
- 10:51Speaker 3: You're pushing it there, hoy, jay, I admit that. But
- 10:54Speaker 3: now I'm just like and then I you know, I
- 10:57Speaker 3: asked my daughters, and my one of my daughters said, well,
- 10:59Speaker 3: it's very rock and roll Dad, I'm getting Kings of
- 11:02Speaker 3: Leon kind of vibes. Okay, okay, But I I as
- 11:09Speaker 3: I was walking in town today, I thought, God, have
- 11:12Speaker 3: I just done a pugsn sort of beret kind.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Of berat situation where you've had an absolute fashion shocker.
- 11:21Speaker 2: A massive fashion faux pas.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Just a shocker in general is known now as a pugs.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Can I say it's a real head turner, really draws
- 11:31Speaker 5: in the eye. As you said, they're a quality boot.
- 11:34Speaker 2: They're a quality boot.
- 11:35Speaker 5: They're comfortable boots, very comfortable, but there is something of
- 11:39Speaker 5: an eyesore.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Just quickly for the listeners. Yes, what brand are the boots?
- 11:48Speaker 2: Now?
- 11:48Speaker 3: I looked at the brand. What is the harmony or
- 11:53Speaker 3: chaos and harmony? So we're okay, I'll look these up.
- 11:58Speaker 2: And they're woman's boots.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Now, hang on there before you you know, before you
- 12:04Speaker 3: just hoe into me here. Not that I mind wearing
- 12:07Speaker 3: women's boots, by the way, that's all g It also
- 12:12Speaker 3: says that, but that men can wear them, of course,
- 12:16Speaker 3: do anything exactly. It doesn't say men should, they can.
- 12:24Speaker 3: My philosophy is, as my wife said to me today,
- 12:27Speaker 3: you're wearing the boots. The boots aren't wearing you. She's
- 12:30Speaker 3: been saying these things to me a lot.
- 12:32Speaker 2: And I'm going, okay, hang on, g you up are we?
- 12:36Speaker 2: But but she likes them.
- 12:38Speaker 4: She's a woman, and.
- 12:39Speaker 5: That woman she loves them. She can't wait for you
- 12:42Speaker 5: to go to sleep. She's going to try them on okay,
- 12:44Speaker 5: on harmony. I'm just having a look at their website.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Here.
- 12:47Speaker 5: They've got fashion shoes. That's what yours are fall under jas.
- 12:50Speaker 5: They also do bridal shoes. They do so a hell
- 12:55Speaker 5: of a sight.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Well that's the good thing, right, you and your wife
- 12:58Speaker 4: can shear boots, although she's got bigger feet than you.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Right what Actually I said to her, well, why don't
- 13:03Speaker 3: you have them actually, because I think they're woman's boots,
- 13:05Speaker 3: And she said, na, they're way too massive for me.
- 13:08Speaker 2: I'm not convinced they are. Actually.
- 13:09Speaker 5: Well that is the other interesting thing as well, because
- 13:11Speaker 5: I've had a whole bunch of comments come through, which
- 13:13Speaker 5: will probably get into next hour, but some of them,
- 13:17Speaker 5: for example, this one here freakishly large feet. Yeah, freakishly
- 13:22Speaker 5: large feet, and so it does beg the question if
- 13:26Speaker 5: do they actually fit you?
- 13:27Speaker 2: Yeah, very much.
- 13:27Speaker 3: So they're very comfortable. One of my favorite comments thus
- 13:31Speaker 3: far as hell's teeth.
- 13:35Speaker 4: Hey, keep an air out by the way, we are
- 13:37Speaker 4: going to be playing a que call soonersh for the
- 13:40Speaker 4: NRL Grand Final. But up next, speaking of you know,
- 13:43Speaker 4: we're going to have a chat to Charlie Gubb.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I hate my boots.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Yeah, the whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Tune in on Radio.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Peel Jam there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 13:58Speaker 3: Monday afternoon.
- 13:59Speaker 2: The time is four forty two.
- 14:02Speaker 3: There's been a massive amount of sport over the weekend,
- 14:04Speaker 3: but we're gonna get the microscope on one particular sport.
- 14:08Speaker 2: That's your rugby league.
- 14:10Speaker 3: With that in mind, we've got a man that knows
- 14:12Speaker 3: everything there is to know about rugby league.
- 14:15Speaker 2: It's rugby league legend.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Old Charlie Gubby, your mad Barstard, how's life?
- 14:20Speaker 2: Coitty? Last good?
- 14:22Speaker 6: And I'm multitask at the moment, I got potatoes boiling.
- 14:25Speaker 6: I got a baby with a full nappy. I'm waiting
- 14:27Speaker 6: for the call to get done. Breakdown the game.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Yeah mate, yeah, no, you can do it all.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Is there anything you can't do, Charlie.
- 14:35Speaker 6: Yeah, there's a few things. Yeah, I mean probably stay
- 14:39Speaker 6: so for more than a couple of weeks.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Fair enough, Mae.
- 14:44Speaker 3: In all serious note though, Charlie, good the Fellas got
- 14:48Speaker 3: back on the winning track. I've had a couple of losses,
- 14:51Speaker 3: albeit really close ones, but it's always good to win.
- 14:54Speaker 6: Again, definitely, and they really turn their attack around last week.
- 15:00Speaker 6: We scored ten points or eight point first Sharks and
- 15:02Speaker 6: the wet and then we went down there versus Cowboys,
- 15:06Speaker 6: who are a very good attacking team, and we just
- 15:08Speaker 6: every time we had the ball we looked dangerous to
- 15:12Speaker 6: Mighty Martin and Chanell Harris Tavita to a picky chance
- 15:16Speaker 6: scoring four tries on the left. Angel. I'm very happy
- 15:18Speaker 6: for him because he cops a bit of hate from
- 15:20Speaker 6: him from some of the big show boys.
- 15:23Speaker 2: I love che don't know what you're talking about, Charlie.
- 15:26Speaker 4: He hates them. Yeah, I don't know why. Gooday, Charlie,
- 15:29Speaker 4: Kezy here man, hope you're.
- 15:30Speaker 6: Will no really good, Kyzie.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Thanks for the intro, sweet man. I was into the game,
- 15:35Speaker 4: but I don't actually remember a lot of it. You
- 15:37Speaker 4: mentioned us scoring out, why, especially on the left side
- 15:39Speaker 4: quite a lot. Does that sort of mean that maybe
- 15:42Speaker 4: we have been practicing our sort of backline moves and
- 15:44Speaker 4: getting it through the hands, man, Is that what we're thinking?
- 15:47Speaker 6: Well if yeah, if you watch the replays, we were
- 15:51Speaker 6: almost shifting it to the right, setting up for a
- 15:53Speaker 6: shift on the right, and then they were cutting back
- 15:55Speaker 6: to the left. Laban was just running hard lines, turning
- 15:59Speaker 6: in Clifford and Pompey. We just had a lot of
- 16:02Speaker 6: class on the weekend. He drew and pass every time
- 16:05Speaker 6: he needed to pass, and yeah, it was just it
- 16:07Speaker 6: was nice to watch.
- 16:09Speaker 2: It was good eating, wasn't it, mate.
- 16:10Speaker 5: I mean, most of our points over the last few
- 16:12Speaker 5: years even have being scored down the right hand side.
- 16:14Speaker 5: A sort of stat that said that to a pickey
- 16:17Speaker 5: gets ninety percent of his touches on the right hand side,
- 16:19Speaker 5: and yet it was almost one hundred percent down the
- 16:21Speaker 5: left hand side. So good see we can switch it
- 16:23Speaker 5: up score a few points there, mate, Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 6: Yeah, definitely, And he was I think to Picky was
- 16:27Speaker 6: hanging out on the right. Just a couple of yeah,
- 16:32Speaker 6: I need to watch I need to watch the replays
- 16:33Speaker 6: as well, a little bit of.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I think.
- 16:39Speaker 6: We're just kind of on autopilot right now.
- 16:41Speaker 5: I think we think we all did well. Let's i'll
- 16:43Speaker 5: make something else up and see if we can all
- 16:45Speaker 5: agree on it. Certain periods of the game there where
- 16:48Speaker 5: we were getting stitched up in the middle around the ruck,
- 16:51Speaker 5: they were getting some pretty decent meters, which was a
- 16:53Speaker 5: little bit of a worry. And it seems like they've
- 16:55Speaker 5: changed their rollings now, which seems to happen around origin
- 16:59Speaker 5: on these six again sort of sets, not sort of
- 17:01Speaker 5: twenty of those being pumped out every game. So there's
- 17:05Speaker 5: something that's pursuited us up until this point.
- 17:08Speaker 6: Yeah, definitely there. And you're you're right movie. They always
- 17:11Speaker 6: do loosen up on those rules, you know. I mean
- 17:14Speaker 6: last year it was playing the ball with your foot,
- 17:16Speaker 6: remember that they bring it out and then they stopped
- 17:18Speaker 6: pathway through the year. But I guess you just sort
- 17:21Speaker 6: of adapt with the rules. We're doing really well. Cowboys
- 17:25Speaker 6: have a big pack, you know, they got tumblow, they
- 17:26Speaker 6: got they got looky on the in the back round
- 17:29Speaker 6: They're just big.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Hulking lads smash.
- 17:33Speaker 6: Yeah, and it's like it's almost like Jason, you know,
- 17:37Speaker 6: he watched that game and he started feeling something for
- 17:42Speaker 6: the Fellers and he got those boots.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Goes on the field, made it's chaos and harmony.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Yeah right, Hey, could I just say, Fellas and Gubby
- 17:57Speaker 3: bug bear of mine? Can we stop with the Hollywood
- 18:02Speaker 3: one hand tries in the corner?
- 18:05Speaker 2: Just score a try.
- 18:07Speaker 3: You don't need to dive in the air and beg
- 18:10Speaker 3: all this.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Just pluck it down, for God's sake. Pluck it down
- 18:15Speaker 2: with these these.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Stupid bloody Oh it's the corners open, so I'm going
- 18:19Speaker 3: to have to do a big Hollywood.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Just go in the corner like everyone else, would you?
- 18:24Speaker 6: Yeah, come on, Feller's stop making the game so entertaining, right,
- 18:27Speaker 6: Let's just go old school.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Yeah, make it be league for God's sake.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Now that Jason's asked you his boomer question, Gabby, you
- 18:36Speaker 4: just quickly made a two part question. First of all,
- 18:39Speaker 4: who was your Porter King Player of the day? And secondly,
- 18:42Speaker 4: what what dish are you making with the potatoes there?
- 18:45Speaker 6: Porter King player of the day. We're going to nickel
- 18:47Speaker 6: clock stad on the wing. Yeah, and the dish I'm making.
- 18:51Speaker 6: I've got some marinads.
- 18:53Speaker 2: What are they?
- 18:54Speaker 6: Butterfly chickens. Chickens, butterfly chickens, you know those tiger ones. Yeah, favorite,
- 19:00Speaker 6: who knows what they follows, but they got I shouldn't
- 19:03Speaker 6: really say I was about to say, but yeah, anyway,
- 19:07Speaker 6: thoughts of Jackson Ford. I'm hoping we can do it
- 19:10Speaker 6: with our Jackson for you, big laugh you keep yeah,
- 19:13Speaker 6: play that music, keep keeping the music playing.
- 19:15Speaker 2: You got time, mate, You've got time.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Good on your Charlie, enjoy your dinner, mate, Thanks for
- 19:19Speaker 4: having a chat.
- 19:21Speaker 2: All good, All good.
- 19:21Speaker 6: I'm funning up to Mogi's pyramid scheme tomorrow. Actually, oh
- 19:25Speaker 6: you are too, so you can fill you in on that.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll do that.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Thanks, Charlie, We see that, thanks mate.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Is the Black Crows the Huarchy Big Show weekdays from
- 19:38Speaker 1: four on radio.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Isn't white Stripes there on the radio? Hurdarchy Big Show
- 19:43Speaker 3: this Monday afternoon. The time is four point fifty three.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Let's talk to TV.
- 19:50Speaker 4: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue?
- 19:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, fellas. What was I watching over the weekend? Nothing?
- 20:04Speaker 5: Really, I was out and about I'll tell you what
- 20:06Speaker 5: I did and see. I want to sort of play
- 20:08Speaker 5: Sons of val at Auckland Theater Company with our mate
- 20:12Speaker 5: Bullah Kuali. It was good, went along. I thought it
- 20:17Speaker 5: was going to be more of more serious. It's a story,
- 20:22Speaker 5: it's a true story, and it's based on the playwright's
- 20:25Speaker 5: own experiences. I think of coming to New Zealand from
- 20:27Speaker 5: the Islands back in the seventies, possibly early eighties, and
- 20:34Speaker 5: him and his two brothers sort of living in the
- 20:36Speaker 5: shadow of their old man who was a piss head, scrapper,
- 20:44Speaker 5: hard bastard, you know, that sort of a that sort
- 20:47Speaker 5: of type. But I was expected, and I don't know why,
- 20:50Speaker 5: but I was expected it to be really serious and
- 20:53Speaker 5: earnest or something like that. But it was actually mostly funny.
- 20:56Speaker 5: There's definitely some stuff in there that's pretty fronting, confronting
- 21:01Speaker 5: year but it's done in a way that it's not
- 21:03Speaker 5: like massively depressing, did you know what I mean. It's
- 21:06Speaker 5: like that sort of those sorts of things can be
- 21:07Speaker 5: really tough, but it's mostly really really funny and lots
- 21:12Speaker 5: of you know, lots of great great performances, really well directed. Yeah,
- 21:17Speaker 5: I did, I really enjoyed it and get along and
- 21:19Speaker 5: see it at the Auckland Theater Company that sons of
- 21:21Speaker 5: our busies. Wise, now I've seen some crackers lately viewing
- 21:25Speaker 5: the Bridge and play fight. For me, it didn't connect
- 21:29Speaker 5: quite as strong as it, but I still give it
- 21:31Speaker 5: three point two busies.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Yeah, nice, nice, And then we're going to go and
- 21:34Speaker 3: see that maybe next week.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Yes. I watched a movie last night called Krall.
- 21:40Speaker 3: It's one of the great and it's this old British
- 21:44Speaker 3: sci fi nineteen eighty three, wasn't it that I said
- 21:49Speaker 3: to you year it was made. It was sort of
- 21:52Speaker 3: a huge budget on it.
- 21:54Speaker 2: It was a.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Massive flop at the theaters. Yeah, really really stupid. I
- 22:01Speaker 3: love watching, you know, those old school movies with their
- 22:05Speaker 3: special effects and stuff.
- 22:06Speaker 2: I love. I loved it. It was so bad and
- 22:11Speaker 2: it had quite the cast.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Actually it had Liam Neeson because Coltrane it was, and
- 22:17Speaker 3: a couple of very well known old skint of British actors.
- 22:20Speaker 3: It was really, really bad and I loved it just
- 22:26Speaker 3: so you know, like, the sets are stupid, the effects
- 22:30Speaker 3: are stupid.
- 22:31Speaker 5: It's a fantasy, isn't it sort of stories. It's one
- 22:35Speaker 5: of the serious films that I went and saw with
- 22:36Speaker 5: my dad. I still remember distinctly going to see and
- 22:38Speaker 5: I absolutely loved it as a kid, and I went.
- 22:41Speaker 5: I followed up and watched it maybe ten or fifteen
- 22:43Speaker 5: years ago, and I didn't hate it. Yeah, I didn't
- 22:44Speaker 5: hate it all.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Yes, look, just because it was so stupid and it
- 22:49Speaker 3: entertained me with its stupidity.
- 22:52Speaker 2: I'm going to give it four.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Busies, yes, out of a possible five. And then's krull.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Yes, k r u l L Yes.
- 23:01Speaker 4: So it was stupid, but you loved it, yeah, because
- 23:03Speaker 4: it was so bad. So it was like your new boots. Really,
- 23:08Speaker 4: the new boots you've got, the woman's ones you're wearing
- 23:11Speaker 4: right now.
- 23:11Speaker 2: It's sort of like those the.
- 23:12Speaker 5: Shop you got them from. Jason's Chaos and Harmony.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it was actually SPCA op shop on Bonsonby Road.
- 23:20Speaker 2: So good chili feelings.
- 23:22Speaker 4: I didn't watch anything over the weekend, all right there,
- 23:24Speaker 4: I said it, other than like Rugby League.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Yeah, and you didn't even really watch that.
- 23:29Speaker 4: I can't remember. But I had a great weekend. On
- 23:32Speaker 4: the list coming up after five o'clock, your chance to
- 23:34Speaker 4: get in the drawer for the NRL Grand final trip
- 23:36Speaker 4: with the Brickey.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Feelers also fielders after fire. I think we should have
- 23:40Speaker 3: a bit of sports chat. There was a lot of
- 23:42Speaker 3: sporting action over the weekend. Whatever you need man, Thanks man.
- 23:48Speaker 1: The whole aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio hold Ich.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Welcome back your mess of bagbones.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Hope you're surviving your Monday night so you're listening to
- 23:58Speaker 3: the Big Show brought to you.
- 24:00Speaker 4: I Rebourger handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and gourmet eats that
- 24:03Speaker 4: will change the game.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Yeah, good stuff good. Did you have any Reburger down
- 24:10Speaker 2: in christ Church? Keys question?
- 24:12Speaker 4: Jase, Yeah, yeah, are you dead?
- 24:14Speaker 2: Oh you did? What'd you go with?
- 24:16Speaker 5: Ah?
- 24:16Speaker 2: Hang on a minute, you're not doing all? What you
- 24:19Speaker 2: are you? What do you mean lying about getting Reburger? Look?
- 24:22Speaker 4: I had burgers over the weekend. Were they Reburgers?
- 24:25Speaker 3: No?
- 24:25Speaker 4: They were not. Okay, they were of the variety that
- 24:27Speaker 4: you get when you're told you need to eat something.
- 24:31Speaker 2: And then you're told you need to eat something.
- 24:33Speaker 4: And then your wife pulls in and just sort of
- 24:35Speaker 4: gets your stuff.
- 24:36Speaker 5: That's I want to tell you, Keysy. No matter how
- 24:39Speaker 5: old you get, that still happens, brother.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Yeah, And I was like, now that you mention.
- 24:43Speaker 2: It, but it's good to be told, isn't it.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:45Speaker 4: It was like, now you mention it, I'm actually quite hungry.
- 24:47Speaker 4: And then I was stoked. It was great, but it
- 24:49Speaker 4: wasn't really bigg. I wish it was Fellers, but we
- 24:51Speaker 4: were just there was no Reburger around, even though there
- 24:53Speaker 4: were more and more stores opening.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, were you singing Engelbert Humperdink while you were,
- 24:59Speaker 3: you know, driving in the car with your wife.
- 25:01Speaker 4: I wasn't, but I'll tell you what. I did a
- 25:03Speaker 4: pretty pretty severe deep dive on old Nglebit on Saturday.
- 25:07Speaker 4: On YouTube. There I found an I found a few
- 25:14Speaker 4: videos of him singing back in the like the fifties
- 25:16Speaker 4: and sixties and stuff.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 4: I was like, yeah, this is good. And then years
- 25:19Speaker 4: ago yeah yeah. And then I found a video of
- 25:21Speaker 4: him singing like a year ago, and I was like, oh, boy,
- 25:25Speaker 4: going to next week's going to be great.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:27Speaker 3: My wife was asking about that today. She said, oh
- 25:30Speaker 3: my god, is that tomorrow? And I went, no, next Tuesday,
- 25:32Speaker 3: Next Tuesday. The fellows Inglebird Humper Drink.
- 25:35Speaker 2: How good?
- 25:35Speaker 4: I'm sofazed up for a fellas, he still got it.
- 25:39Speaker 2: That's very nice.
- 25:40Speaker 3: And by the way, that your wife drove you, what
- 25:44Speaker 3: do you mean you know, because you're obviously getting on
- 25:47Speaker 3: it and having our old party and she was the
- 25:50Speaker 3: one that had to take responsibility and drive you around
- 25:54Speaker 3: and buy you food and yeah, there's all that sort
- 25:57Speaker 3: of stuff.
- 25:57Speaker 6: You know.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Nice.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Yeah, you're right.
- 26:00Speaker 2: She's hung me in her of a mood that night.
- 26:02Speaker 1: By the way, the whole Archy Big Show was Jason,
- 26:05Speaker 1: Mike and Kyzy tune in four.
- 26:08Speaker 3: On Radio Yes Indee Nirvana Vera on the radio Hodarchy
- 26:12Speaker 3: Big Show this Monday evening. The time thirteen minutes past
- 26:16Speaker 3: five o'clock, fellows.
- 26:17Speaker 5: I went to the pub uesterday, caught up with some
- 26:19Speaker 5: mates and watched the wahs. Yeah of the wahs, and
- 26:23Speaker 5: hear my daughter came along as well. My wife is
- 26:26Speaker 5: two and great public. They had a lot of dogs
- 26:30Speaker 5: in the pub. People don't seem to mind a dog.
- 26:33Speaker 5: No kids mean you, but lots of dogs.
- 26:36Speaker 2: It's called the long room, was it? No?
- 26:39Speaker 5: And the kids? Sorry, the seating arrangements there, it's all
- 26:43Speaker 5: on barstools. My daughter is a sucker for a dog
- 26:47Speaker 5: or any animal really, and she was patting a dog
- 26:49Speaker 5: that was standing there and she was sort of leaning
- 26:51Speaker 5: off her barstool, just leaning off it there patting this dog.
- 26:55Speaker 5: Then the dog walked away and sort of unbalanced my daughter,
- 26:59Speaker 5: who fell off and smashed her chin on the concrete
- 27:02Speaker 5: floor a catter open. She had to go to the
- 27:05Speaker 5: hospital last night, no happy ending, though my wife said
- 27:11Speaker 5: I could stay and finish watching the Wars and then
- 27:13Speaker 5: they won and they won, so and my.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Daughter was thrilled about that.
- 27:17Speaker 5: Yes, but while my wife was there, just as an aside,
- 27:23Speaker 5: it actually took them to about ten o'clock to get
- 27:25Speaker 5: home because my wife wasn't allowed to leave the hospital.
- 27:28Speaker 5: The doctor said she couldn't drive until she got her
- 27:30Speaker 5: blood sugars up because she nearly fainted at the sight
- 27:33Speaker 5: of my daughter's chin being treated by the doctors. Right,
- 27:36Speaker 5: she's a fainter when it comes to the blood. But
- 27:38Speaker 5: my daughter took it really, really well. And it got
- 27:40Speaker 5: me thinking about what are the worst things that you
- 27:42Speaker 5: What were your worst injuries when you were a kid,
- 27:45Speaker 5: because you get some absolute shockers. Yes, especially back in
- 27:47Speaker 5: our day, Jason, when we sort of grew up in
- 27:50Speaker 5: a time where our parents didn't love us, so you
- 27:52Speaker 5: sort of just left it. You just sent outside at
- 27:55Speaker 5: seven am and then told to come back when it's dark.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Or a little bit after. Yeah, I think probably for me.
- 28:03Speaker 2: One of my worst injuries was getting stabbed. Yeah. I
- 28:07Speaker 2: got my bow cut open there because.
- 28:09Speaker 4: You're playing you're playing Dungeons and Dragons.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Or you yes, And I got stabbed with a hunting knife.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Also the os that wasn't really an injury, that was
- 28:23Speaker 3: more a disease.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, and the bone marrow there.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Right, So the stabbing is definitely are worse though, right.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd say the stabbing would be the worst. But
- 28:33Speaker 3: you know, like back in the day, skateboarding all the time.
- 28:36Speaker 3: He used to get massive grazers on you know, big meaty,
- 28:41Speaker 3: you know when you come off and go against the
- 28:43Speaker 3: road or the concrete stick, the old red paint on
- 28:46Speaker 3: it stung like buggery face.
- 28:50Speaker 2: He's just thinking about Joe.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Skateboard Yeah, skateboarding.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I used to a couple of broken fingers. Really,
- 29:00Speaker 2: what are you doing, rugby?
- 29:02Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, skateboarding and playing footy with eskateboarding and
- 29:06Speaker 3: playing footy. M that's about me though, to be honest.
- 29:10Speaker 3: My girl's broken ankles all sorts Yeah.
- 29:13Speaker 4: I had a similar experience when I was quite young.
- 29:15Speaker 4: I fell off a bastard at a pub and I
- 29:18Speaker 4: got like a carpet burn on my knee. What is
- 29:22Speaker 4: that funny? And then that got infected by like a
- 29:26Speaker 4: genuine with a like a genuine flesh eating bacteria.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:29Speaker 4: And so by the time I got home and went
- 29:30Speaker 4: from being the size of like a current twenty cent
- 29:32Speaker 4: piece to like one of the old fifty cent pieces.
- 29:34Speaker 4: And that's weird. I was a little kid. I didn't
- 29:36Speaker 4: say anything about it, and then it got massive to
- 29:39Speaker 4: the point where it was like, I don't know, huge,
- 29:42Speaker 4: and then I had to go to hospital and that yeah,
- 29:44Speaker 4: like a proper fleshating bacteria.
- 29:45Speaker 3: And your mum said, we are never letting you out
- 29:48Speaker 3: of the bubble again, little keesy, because this is what happens.
- 29:52Speaker 3: You get a little carpet burn and it turns into
- 29:56Speaker 3: man eating flesh disease.
- 29:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:58Speaker 4: And I was just standing at looking out the window
- 30:00Speaker 4: longingly wanted to go outside, and seeing Jay skate pass. Look,
- 30:03Speaker 4: it's super cool with his boots on.
- 30:07Speaker 2: I wasn't wearing boots. Yeah, come on.
- 30:11Speaker 5: Man, let us know. Three for eight three one of
- 30:14Speaker 5: the worst injuries that you hear when you're a kid.
- 30:17Speaker 5: My next door neighbor tried to catch up to his brother.
- 30:19Speaker 5: His brother learned how to go no hands on his
- 30:21Speaker 5: pushpaite first, so he needed to do it as well,
- 30:23Speaker 5: being the older brother, and smashed out his front four teeth.
- 30:26Speaker 2: No, yes, that was a goodie. Yeah.
- 30:28Speaker 1: The Darchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hold.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Indeed green day there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 30:36Speaker 3: this Monday evening. The time is five twenty five, and
- 30:39Speaker 3: we're talking horrific childhood injuries.
- 30:43Speaker 5: I think the likelyhood here is that most people are
- 30:45Speaker 5: going to change station based on some of these stories
- 30:48Speaker 5: that have been coming through. My daughter fell off a
- 30:51Speaker 5: bath stool yesterday at a pub when we're watching the Warriors.
- 30:54Speaker 5: Split your chin open? Yeah, blood all over the joint?
- 30:57Speaker 5: Can I say that? And she got four hundred and
- 31:00Speaker 5: sixty seven stitches.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Wow, that is one hell of a split chin. Yeah
- 31:05Speaker 2: far out? Yeah, pretty bad.
- 31:07Speaker 5: But we asked three four eight three for people to
- 31:09Speaker 5: text and any of the things that have happened to
- 31:11Speaker 5: them when they were kiddies. There, how about this one here?
- 31:14Speaker 5: Feel as I was mucking around a dad's helme and
- 31:16Speaker 5: Avenger in the driveway. I was pressing the car cigarette
- 31:19Speaker 5: lighter down and it kept popping back up. This made
- 31:22Speaker 5: you feel a bit squeamish already, ja huh, So I
- 31:25Speaker 5: took the action of sticking my tongue down the hole.
- 31:31Speaker 5: Now it doesn't say here, but I'm willing to.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Bet that that was a dude. You there's no way
- 31:36Speaker 2: that was a check.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Well that is just triggered for me. The old knife
- 31:41Speaker 3: and a toaster.
- 31:44Speaker 5: You've done that, Yeah, you've done that a few times.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Yes, Wow, it is going Why trying to fish toast out?
- 31:51Speaker 2: Yes? Is it sore? Well, it's a shock, but is
- 31:57Speaker 2: it really saw.
- 31:57Speaker 5: It's a shock every time, but after the first time,
- 32:00Speaker 5: it wouldn't come as a surprise.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Yeah, a surprise, It's just a shock.
- 32:04Speaker 5: I was on my push bike, went through the back
- 32:05Speaker 5: window of a park station wagon, split my chin open
- 32:10Speaker 5: and smack my nuts. Really hate herd on the handlebeck
- 32:13Speaker 5: you used to do? Yeah, yeah, totally. I was running
- 32:17Speaker 5: around it kindergarten and as I came around the corner,
- 32:19Speaker 5: I smashed my face into a massive pile of bricks
- 32:22Speaker 5: and almost.
- 32:25Speaker 4: What This one from Matt When I was twelve, My
- 32:27Speaker 4: old man body surfed into my foot and bent my
- 32:30Speaker 4: big toe back and broke it. How do you body
- 32:33Speaker 4: surf into someone's foot. It doesn't make any sense. Actually,
- 32:37Speaker 4: speaking of not making sense, Oh yeah, Jason the previous
- 32:40Speaker 4: break was talking about how when he was a kid,
- 32:42Speaker 4: he got injured skateboarding all the time because he was
- 32:44Speaker 4: so radical, because he was the man, pretty rare. And
- 32:48Speaker 4: then I was like, okay, I sit to puk size.
- 32:50Speaker 4: I wishould get a skateboard in here so that Jason
- 32:52Speaker 4: could show us how he used to skate. And it
- 32:54Speaker 4: turns out there, oh no, I didn't used to sky.
- 32:56Speaker 4: I used to sit down on it and go down
- 32:57Speaker 4: the hill. Well, that's not skateboarding.
- 33:01Speaker 3: In fairness, all of my mates did that. We all
- 33:04Speaker 3: did that because we had a big hill at our school,
- 33:07Speaker 3: and it was like it was like dodgems, you know
- 33:10Speaker 3: what I mean. You're smack into each other and go
- 33:13Speaker 3: honing down. Yeah, cool, you know, and full off occasionally
- 33:17Speaker 3: get terrible grazing kids.
- 33:19Speaker 4: Yeah, And then the nurse would be like, what do
- 33:20Speaker 4: you do skateboarding?
- 33:22Speaker 3: Well, you know, at least I didn't go out and
- 33:25Speaker 3: get carpet pin. I was so carpet into a man
- 33:33Speaker 3: eating flesh disease.
- 33:35Speaker 2: At least I was outside. I was outside of the
- 33:39Speaker 2: fresh hairys. I was like a proper kate. Yeah, just
- 33:43Speaker 2: not on my knees looking over my shoulder getting a
- 33:46Speaker 2: carpet pin.
- 33:48Speaker 4: I was like four, all right, I was four, and
- 33:53Speaker 4: I used to skateboard properly.
- 33:55Speaker 2: With your dreads and your beads and your HEAs.
- 33:57Speaker 4: Especially it was actually rollerblades, to be honest.
- 34:02Speaker 1: The Hold Actual Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hook. Let's
- 34:08Speaker 1: see who's joining Jerry and Mania on the Export Ultra

- 34:18Speaker 3: a trip, the Big Grand Final of the Rock below.

- 34:24Speaker 3: it is.

- 34:29Speaker 4: Five star hotels? Do you guys like those five stars? Yeah? Yeah,
- 34:34Speaker 4: out of a possible six? Yeah no, I don't actually
- 34:37Speaker 4: know how many stars can you get a hotel?
- 34:40Speaker 2: Especially five? But then they go, oh, this one's.
- 34:42Speaker 4: Six and the world's only seven star hotel.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Yeah, we're staying three stars, so we're all good.
- 34:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I actually stay in three busy hotels.

- 35:06Speaker 3: You're yawning and how stavving you are and you just
- 35:08Speaker 3: need bitty buys.
- 35:10Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, but don't worry. I'll read all the
- 35:12Speaker 4: edmund could you please? Don't you guys do it?
- 35:14Speaker 2: I'll do it.
- 35:15Speaker 5: Ah.
- 35:17Speaker 4: First there was Paris, then Munich, last year Texas and
- 35:20Speaker 4: now Sydney for the Grand Final. Three nights in Sydney
- 35:23Speaker 4: five Star Hotel, Return Flights Race as a Harbor Cruz
- 35:25Speaker 4: Grand Final experience. It's gonna be pretty damn fun.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Mate, bloody good. Let's go to the phone lines. Good eight, Julian,

- 36:00Speaker 4: to ruin this trip for Jerry and me?
- 36:02Speaker 6: I absolutely?
- 36:04Speaker 2: Yeah? Good stuff mate, beautiful.
- 36:05Speaker 6: I hope I should give they take it away now mate?
- 36:08Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I like that. I like that confidence, Julian.
- 36:10Speaker 3: You're in the drawer, mate, awesome, Thank you mate, Get
- 36:15Speaker 3: in your ma Advisett house.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Life too bad la?
- 36:18Speaker 6: How you doing?
- 36:19Speaker 2: Thanks? Mate? What do you do for a Christian.
- 36:21Speaker 6: Work in mobility and disability vehicles?
- 36:23Speaker 2: A good on your mates?
- 36:26Speaker 5: So you got one of those lifts out the back
- 36:29Speaker 5: of the ear of you?
- 36:30Speaker 6: Yeah we do, mate, ramps fifty.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Bloody good stuff mate. In you love your rugby league?
- 36:38Speaker 6: Oh mate?
- 36:39Speaker 2: I was up for a weekend watching all kinds of
- 36:41Speaker 2: rugby and the league. Yeah.
- 36:42Speaker 4: Yeah, get on your mate, and just checking as well.
- 36:44Speaker 4: You will ruin this trip if you win it, right.
- 36:48Speaker 6: Good luck for you.
- 36:48Speaker 4: Yeah on you, I like it. You're in the drawer,
- 36:51Speaker 4: all right, you hold the line, thank you?
- 36:53Speaker 2: All right.
- 36:55Speaker 4: At the chance to get yourself in the drawer at
- 36:57Speaker 4: any stage, I'm ready. I heard you. Just have to
- 36:58Speaker 4: keep listening and then low one hundred hodarky when you
- 37:01Speaker 4: hear that cuticle which probably had some sports noon.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Ye, I'm feeling it so much over the weekend. He
- 37:07Speaker 2: really was. In the meantime.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Here is Rim the Darchy Big Show weekdays from four
- 37:13Speaker 1: on Radio Hdarchy the Hives.
- 37:15Speaker 3: There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Monday afternoon.
- 37:19Speaker 3: The time is five forty eight. Let's talk sport, all right, fellows.
- 37:35Speaker 3: I'll kick us off the Rugby Super Rugby Final over
- 37:39Speaker 3: the weekend.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Hurricanes vi.
- 37:41Speaker 3: The Chiefs, the two probably most deserving teams have been
- 37:44Speaker 3: the final home ground advantage for the Hurricanes, who to
- 37:49Speaker 3: my mind have been the superior team all season. They
- 37:53Speaker 3: absolutely destroyed the Chiefs sixty to five. Once again, there
- 38:00Speaker 3: play was just extraordinary, their ability to offload the ball
- 38:03Speaker 3: under pressure, the dynamic nature of their game just irrepressible.
- 38:08Speaker 2: The Chiefs blown off the ground.
- 38:11Speaker 5: Yes, a hell of a result for the Hurricanes, but
- 38:13Speaker 5: it is an absolute disgrace for the Chiefs and not
- 38:15Speaker 5: a great final. You wouldn't have thought for this for
- 38:17Speaker 5: Rugby's sixty points. It was blown a garde as well,
- 38:19Speaker 5: so not great conditions, terrific conditions.
- 38:21Speaker 2: I was just going to say it was blown an
- 38:23Speaker 2: absolute girl.
- 38:24Speaker 3: The Chiefs had their opportunities in the first half, but
- 38:27Speaker 3: they just didn't take them completely outplayed.
- 38:30Speaker 4: It's such a shame too. Like my family are big
- 38:32Speaker 4: Chief supporters. They would have been absolutely gut they would
- 38:35Speaker 4: have been excited, sit down and it's just an absolute blowing.
- 38:38Speaker 2: It pumped something special, isn't it.
- 38:40Speaker 5: And that's how England will be feeling. After the Second
- 38:43Speaker 5: Test wrapped up at the Oval this very morning, they
- 38:46Speaker 5: lost to the black Caps by two hundred and fifty
- 38:49Speaker 5: three runs, high Matt Matt Henry producing New Zealand's best
- 38:52Speaker 5: ever bowling figures against England. They took the final five
- 38:57Speaker 5: wickets an under an hour this morning. Yes, it's extraordinary
- 39:00Speaker 5: and Henry took got Joe Rudy out with the first
- 39:03Speaker 5: ball of his for the day. I think he ended
- 39:04Speaker 5: up with eleven wickets his first team wicket bag. You
- 39:08Speaker 5: got to say England's in all sorts of trouble because
- 39:10Speaker 5: they've got all the stuff going on off the field.
- 39:12Speaker 5: You've got Stokes who's just been put back in as
- 39:14Speaker 5: captain after he was out on the purse, even though
- 39:18Speaker 5: they're on curfew, which is a curfew that he helped
- 39:20Speaker 5: implement for the team. Yes, yeah, he went out after
- 39:22Speaker 5: the first Test and got on the hammer with another
- 39:24Speaker 5: player and they end up in some kind of a fracker.
- 39:28Speaker 5: So now he comes back on the team. I just
- 39:31Speaker 5: think they're a bit of a shambles really, and I
- 39:33Speaker 5: think we're pretty good.
- 39:34Speaker 2: I think we might tell them up.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Yeah maybe, And it just goes to show how much
- 39:37Speaker 3: we miss Henry in that first Test at Lord's. There's
- 39:41Speaker 3: been a little bit of chat for a little while
- 39:42Speaker 3: now that there's been a bit of falling out between
- 39:45Speaker 3: Stokes and McCullum, the coach, So it'll be interesting to
- 39:49Speaker 3: see how things play out. But it will be a
- 39:51Speaker 3: much stronger England side for the final Test.
- 39:53Speaker 5: Yeah, that's right, and that's starting in three days Yeah,
- 39:56Speaker 5: twenty fifth, so there's no bagging around keys. Yeah.
- 40:00Speaker 4: What the Wires played day one?
- 40:01Speaker 5: That was good was I never host Sterling had a
- 40:04Speaker 5: victory as well, punched somebody's face and at the USC.
- 40:08Speaker 3: Also the new zeal of the all Whites and yes
- 40:12Speaker 3: World Cup high expectations here. Unfortunately, after leaving at halftime
- 40:18Speaker 3: one noil they went down three to one.
- 40:20Speaker 5: Yeah they did. They got pumped in the end. It
- 40:22Speaker 5: was quite weird to watch because yeah, I don't.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Know what was going on.
- 40:26Speaker 5: They just didn't seem to be taking the bull by
- 40:29Speaker 5: the horns and all three of the goals I think
- 40:32Speaker 5: the Egyptian players were left and marked.
- 40:34Speaker 4: Yes, which isn't great, which is not good in soccer. Fellas. Also,
- 40:38Speaker 4: I'll be doing a bit of an update on my
- 40:39Speaker 4: latest part. Oh yeah, I did another part where the
- 40:42Speaker 4: listeners give me money and I punt it. Yeah, currently
- 40:46Speaker 4: a gutter, currently four and a half grand in the
- 40:49Speaker 4: hole and I've hit one of fifty bits.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right.
- 40:51Speaker 4: It's not a joke, it's not a lie. But there
- 40:53Speaker 4: were some interesting updates over the weekend.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, that key.
- 40:58Speaker 1: He's the Clash the Darchy Big Show weekdays from four

- 42:42Speaker 5: a ripping to that, and yeah, I can't wait.
- 42:45Speaker 3: Yeah, what about you, Keyesy, Because you're a little bit hungover.
- 42:50Speaker 2: You're a little bit phony, you're a little bit tired.
- 42:53Speaker 3: What what does Keysy need tonight to really get him
- 42:57Speaker 3: back on track?
- 42:59Speaker 4: To be honest, Jason, I want what you're having, yeah,
- 43:02Speaker 4: which is.

- 43:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and mash and man, yeah, I like the pie
- 43:17Speaker 2: of that.
- 43:18Speaker 5: I don't know if I was hungover, I don't know
- 43:19Speaker 5: if it would be too stoked on broccolini.
- 43:21Speaker 4: No, I like broccoli and brocolini I for some reason.
- 43:23Speaker 3: I don't know if you guys got ear fries or
- 43:24Speaker 3: if you've done this before, bloody good check them in
- 43:27Speaker 3: there for five minutes beautiful, because I don't really like
- 43:30Speaker 3: broccolini either until my wife did it like that.
- 43:33Speaker 5: I like it when I'm not hungover, but if I'm hungover,
- 43:36Speaker 5: I would want something fattier.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Yeah, put it this way. At the airport and christ
- 43:40Speaker 4: Titch this morning, I was eating akutsu chicken curry. Yeah
- 43:43Speaker 4: boy at ten to nine, and it was just like
- 43:47Speaker 4: deep fried chicken.
- 43:48Speaker 3: For me with a hangover. It was always I needed
- 43:51Speaker 3: some boon going on. I needed some spice.
- 43:53Speaker 4: You need to punish yourself. Yes, tonight I'm having a
- 43:57Speaker 4: Persian spiced lamb leg, which is one of them food
- 44:00Speaker 4: baggy type situations. Whenever we go away for the weekend,
- 44:02Speaker 4: we always just order a food bag.
- 44:03Speaker 2: Then next week.
- 44:04Speaker 4: Yeah, it's almost too fancy for me. Yeah, it's simple.
- 44:08Speaker 4: Do you haavy to cook it? None of my wife's
- 44:09Speaker 4: going to cook it out. That's double, which is lovely,
- 44:11Speaker 4: and it'll be ready when I get home, which is great. Yeah,
- 44:14Speaker 4: but fantas I wouldn't mind just a big old pie.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Yeah, man, shut yeah.
- 44:20Speaker 4: Speaking of beautiful Actually, up next the results of the
- 44:23Speaker 4: poll we're running on Instagram and also on the radio
- 44:25Speaker 4: Hurducky facebook page.
- 44:27Speaker 5: What do you think of Jason's new boots? They are well,
- 44:29Speaker 5: ladies love them. Ladies love them so much that they
- 44:32Speaker 5: buy them and wear them. Yeah, because they're ladies.
- 44:34Speaker 4: Now marketed towards ladies. They are one hundred percent ladies boots.
- 44:37Speaker 4: Go and have a look at the Radio Hurdarky Facebook
- 44:39Speaker 4: or the Huerchey Big Show Instagram some of those comments.

- 45:04Speaker 2: I suppose pole now.
- 45:14Speaker 3: I bought some very very stylish boots over the weekend
- 45:20Speaker 3: at an OP shop actually bloody bargain. They were too
- 45:23Speaker 3: at sixty, but retail they sell for three seventy.
- 45:27Speaker 5: Did a lot of research into them because OP being
- 45:30Speaker 5: short for opportunity, possibly an opportunity should have let go
- 45:34Speaker 5: through to the keeper jas. But here we are Monday.
- 45:37Speaker 5: You've got on your big boots.
- 45:39Speaker 4: They are beige colored slip on boots and they are
- 45:42Speaker 4: from a brand called Chaos and Harmony.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right. They're a woman's shoe. There are a
- 45:46Speaker 2: woman's shoes.
- 45:48Speaker 4: Jase discovered that later. Actually, my wife messaged me earlier.
- 45:51Speaker 4: She was listening to the show, and so she had.
- 45:52Speaker 4: She said that that company is renowned for making bridle
- 45:56Speaker 4: wear for footwear.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Did she think I looked cool?
- 45:59Speaker 4: Though?
- 45:59Speaker 2: No, She was quite quite clear about that.
- 46:02Speaker 4: She was very clear about that.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I'll be talking to her about that next cheese.
- 46:07Speaker 4: Okay, sure you will. Look, there's a lot of comments too.
- 46:10Speaker 4: There's an Instagram video with a pole you can actually
- 46:12Speaker 4: vote on our hoody Jay's shoes cool or not sem.
- 46:16Speaker 4: It's also on the Radio Hudcky facebook page as well,
- 46:19Speaker 4: and people are being very supportive.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Not from what I as you can imagine.
- 46:24Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I like this one here from some CB
- 46:28Speaker 5: twenty three old Hodown Hoyt because they do actually have
- 46:34Speaker 5: a cow girl sort of vibe to them. I was
- 46:37Speaker 5: gonna say cowboy, but that wouldn't be right.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Yeah, were you going for the cowgirl? Look? I'm just
- 46:43Speaker 2: going for a super cool Oh yeah nice?
- 46:46Speaker 4: What about this one here from Logan? If he clicks
- 46:48Speaker 4: them together three times, does he go back to Wonker's
- 46:50Speaker 4: chocolate factory? Very niche reference.
- 46:53Speaker 2: I like it.
- 46:54Speaker 5: There's a bit of chat there as well about the
- 46:56Speaker 5: size of them being massive bastards. There, and this fella's
- 47:00Speaker 5: illustrated the point by ask by saying, got a couple
- 47:02Speaker 5: of honkers strapped on?
- 47:05Speaker 4: They do look like honkers. Why is he wearing white
- 47:09Speaker 4: chocolate tim tams as shoes? They do look like white chocolate?
- 47:12Speaker 2: They do?
- 47:12Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, go and have a look they are. To
- 47:14Speaker 4: be honest, every time I look at them, I think
- 47:16Speaker 4: you're a mannequin and you haven't put any shoes on.
- 47:18Speaker 4: The mannequin color.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Of the boot, Yeah, this is good. What about this
- 47:24Speaker 2: one here right in Cowgirl? Yeah? I saw that one.
- 47:28Speaker 4: Ollie says if you wear them outside, they'll need SPF
- 47:31Speaker 4: fifty because they are very pale. One point three busies
- 47:36Speaker 4: out of a possible five. Someone here is saying, oh hush, yeah, yeah,
- 47:40Speaker 4: they look like they're made from someone's skin.
- 47:43Speaker 5: Power Top boot. You're not a Powertoppers, Jason, No, tell you,
- 47:48Speaker 5: tell you?
- 47:48Speaker 2: Yeah, so what you watch?
- 47:50Speaker 5: Your sort of a vibe for them? I guess we
- 47:52Speaker 5: should go. What do you think the I imagine you've
- 47:54Speaker 5: already seen it. But the results of the poll fifty
- 47:56Speaker 5: two percent no to forty eight percent Yes.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Seriously, I would have been happy with twenty percent yes.
- 48:03Speaker 4: Right, Are you ever going to wear them again.
- 48:05Speaker 3: Yeah, totally, man, I'm rocking them. I am rocking these bastards.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Yeah you go girl.
- 48:14Speaker 1: The Whodarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.
- 48:17Speaker 3: Hodkn Nex Street Preachers there on the Radio Hodarchy Big
- 48:21Speaker 3: Show this Monday evening.
- 48:22Speaker 2: The time is six twenty six Fellers.
- 48:25Speaker 4: Regular listeners will be aware that I've been running once
- 48:29Speaker 4: a month a pot right, a pot bitcher, and people
- 48:33Speaker 4: basically put money in and then we built a big
- 48:36Speaker 4: sort of stockpile of cash, and then old Kezy places
- 48:38Speaker 4: bets on the wars right, yeah, blows it. I'm currently
- 48:41Speaker 4: four and a half grand in the whole. Yeah, fifty
- 48:43Speaker 4: bits I've placed. I've hit one and that yes, you're right, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 48:48Speaker 4: I've only hit one.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Unbelievable.
- 48:50Speaker 4: I wish I could say unbelievable, very very believable. So
- 48:53Speaker 4: this weekend it was the Warriors taking on the Cowboys
- 48:57Speaker 4: down in christ Church, and Isaac, who here who sort
- 49:00Speaker 4: of makes it all happen, He's just like, are you
- 49:01Speaker 4: sure you want to do this?
- 49:02Speaker 6: One?
- 49:02Speaker 4: Man, it's while you're at the game. You're gonna be
- 49:04Speaker 4: there at the pub. It's not gonna be annoying because
- 49:06Speaker 4: like an hour before the game to sit down and
- 49:07Speaker 4: do a whole lot of admin and blah blah blah.
- 49:10Speaker 4: So now to be sweet. So we're at the pub
- 49:12Speaker 4: three o'clock. The game starts at four. I shut shut
- 49:15Speaker 4: the No one can now enter the pot. It's locked in.
- 49:18Speaker 4: We're placing bits. I took a few punts from people
- 49:22Speaker 4: on the chat, and a couple of them came in,
- 49:25Speaker 4: which is great. One was just like, hey, the ball
- 49:27Speaker 4: flies down there undercover forty twenty in the match. Oh god,
- 49:31Speaker 4: we did that and it hurt, which was great. A
- 49:33Speaker 4: few others hit Long story short, at the end of
- 49:35Speaker 4: the game, I was up I think four hundred bucks
- 49:39Speaker 4: for the first time ever. I was up after a
- 49:41Speaker 4: game four hundred bucks. Started with just under fifteen hundred
- 49:44Speaker 4: at this point. We had over eighteen hundred at this point. However,
- 49:49Speaker 4: it's well after the Warriors. I'm at a pub after
- 49:52Speaker 4: the game and I go, oh, crap, I've got to
- 49:55Speaker 4: go in and shut down the pot. You got to
- 49:57Speaker 4: shut shut it down so everyone gets paid out. And
- 49:59Speaker 4: I went in there and I was like.
- 50:00Speaker 2: Oh, oh boy, classic, and.
- 50:07Speaker 4: My wife was stressing out about this. I was like, oh,
- 50:10Speaker 4: I could bet all of it again on Mark. Now
- 50:13Speaker 4: I'm gonna need to score a try in the Rooster's game,
- 50:16Speaker 4: which was currently on, and so, whilst stating it's such
- 50:21Speaker 4: a bad idea, while steamed, I did.
- 50:23Speaker 5: That because that's not part of the deal, is it.
- 50:25Speaker 5: The deal is that you have to put it all
- 50:27Speaker 5: on the worry. I think you would have been liable
- 50:29Speaker 5: at that point if they heaven come in.
- 50:33Speaker 4: Which it did. It came in, and so I managed
- 50:35Speaker 4: to make it so now instead of being four and
- 50:37Speaker 4: a half grand in the hole, I'm only three grand
- 50:39Speaker 4: in the hole.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Nice like literally, and the.
- 50:41Speaker 4: Chat lit up and like half people like Chris or
- 50:43Speaker 4: Keesy stopped. You're doing this with content, aren't you and
- 50:45Speaker 4: all this sort of stuff, And I literally when I
- 50:48Speaker 4: woke up this morning, I was like, that was such
- 50:50Speaker 4: a bad idea.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Yea.
- 50:52Speaker 4: And my wife was like, I can't believe you did that,
- 50:54Speaker 4: Like if you did that with your own you'd be
- 50:55Speaker 4: freaking out about it, and so yeah, yeah, so I
- 51:00Speaker 4: think we need to make a rule, Like I'm not
- 51:02Speaker 4: doing a part if I'm you know.
- 51:05Speaker 5: You make your own rules, mate, Well clearly you do.
- 51:10Speaker 5: I don't know you needed to make a rule. The
- 51:12Speaker 5: problem is there was already a rule, was it only
- 51:15Speaker 5: on the Warrior. You've ignored that rule, so we can.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Put another rule in. But what chances we got. It
- 51:21Speaker 2: just appends to how steams you are. Yeah, so i'd
- 51:23Speaker 2: to consume Keezy.
- 51:24Speaker 4: Yeah, well, it actually, really, really really.
- 51:27Speaker 2: I wish that didn't come.
- 51:29Speaker 4: I know, everyone was just like, oh my god, you're
- 51:32Speaker 4: going to blow this. And I wasn't even watching the
- 51:34Speaker 4: game probably at this point, and luck.
- 51:38Speaker 2: I don't think he watched any games probably this weekend. Kezy.
- 51:41Speaker 4: Well, to be honest, I didn't. It was probably the
- 51:43Speaker 4: worst Warriors viewing experience in terms of soaking up what happened.
- 51:46Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure you've been to three magic rounds.
- 51:51Speaker 4: But long story short, these parts are such a bad idea.
- 51:57Speaker 2: But you're head of the game this time, So well done.
- 51:59Speaker 2: You're not.
- 52:00Speaker 4: I'm still boozy.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Here's food Fighters.
- 52:02Speaker 1: The whole achy big show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 52:07Speaker 2: Hold Ikey, well there you go. Your man bar SAIDs.

- 52:28Speaker 4: Good Memory Jase. Today's clip is called review and I
- 52:32Speaker 4: don't remember anything about the outro.
- 52:37Speaker 2: Are you going to do it? Will you at the
- 52:38Speaker 2: stadium later on? So at the stadium? Yeah?
- 52:41Speaker 5: Still though I'd like to know just how the city was,
- 52:43Speaker 5: what was the vibe, because when you talk.
- 52:45Speaker 3: About it late later, just be you'll be going down here,
- 52:50Speaker 3: alcohol will be leaving the system.
- 52:52Speaker 5: And well, of course we never got to that at all,
- 52:56Speaker 5: did we know? Easyer review.
- 52:58Speaker 4: Here's the verdict.
- 52:59Speaker 2: Pretty great, Yeah, good stuff, then pretty great.
- 53:02Speaker 4: Yummy food, good view, no matter where you were sitting,
- 53:05Speaker 4: and very accessible and very in a great spot in
- 53:07Speaker 4: the middle of the middle of christ in the middle
- 53:10Speaker 4: of Christ.
- 53:11Speaker 2: Wow, how good man? How good? Making your plans for
- 53:15Speaker 2: the evening?

- 53:47Speaker 3: and stuff your face and then sleep for twenty hours?
- 53:51Speaker 4: What do you reckon? Your bed time is going to
- 53:52Speaker 4: be eight thirty nine to thirty nine thirty will be
- 53:56Speaker 4: my bedtime, and I go home, have some lamb, probably
- 53:58Speaker 4: watch something real, chill with my wife, like a grand chain,
- 54:02Speaker 4: you know what I mean.
- 54:03Speaker 3: Something broken wood maybe Noah, it's probably too intense, and.
- 54:07Speaker 4: Then go a bit early fellers go to bit early.
- 54:09Speaker 2: At nine thirty is later than my normal bed time.
