- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Sure, it's time hell level love, love and love and
- 0:15Speaker 2: love and love.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Hello, Welcome to the nordyven. I shall have your host
- 0:18Speaker 1: Ram Shooter.
- 0:18Speaker 2: It's Friday, which means our dear friend Corey Andrew joins us.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Hey, Cory, are you there? I am here.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Happy Friday everyone.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Good to see you, my friend. This week we had
- 0:28Speaker 2: two co hosts who couldn't do the show, so I'm
- 0:31Speaker 2: really excited to have you here today. I'm always excited,
- 0:35Speaker 2: but this week I used to get so nervous Corey.
- 0:37Speaker 2: When I had to do a solo show, I didn't
- 0:39Speaker 2: know if I could do it. And it was actually
- 0:41Speaker 2: my friend Wendy Williams is Robert.
- 0:43Speaker 1: You can talk for twenty minutes.
- 0:46Speaker 2: And then some and then some, so I know I
- 0:49Speaker 2: always have you naughties with me. It's lovely having a
- 0:52Speaker 2: co host on the mic. We have a ton to
- 0:54Speaker 2: get to, so let's jump right in. What time is it?
- 0:57Speaker 2: My friends? It is tea really really sad breaking news
- 1:02Speaker 2: at the top of the show, Kelly Clarkson's ex husband
- 1:06Speaker 2: and talent manager has died at just forty eight from cancer.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Black Stuff was a talent manager and the former stepson
- 1:15Speaker 2: of Reba McIntyre passed away. Cancer is the cause Kelly
- 1:20Speaker 2: Clarkson has canceled her residency in Vegas. They have been
- 1:23Speaker 2: divorced for quite a while and it was a really
- 1:25Speaker 2: ugly divorce. It was very very nasty. This is what
- 1:29Speaker 2: she has been up to. Nobody really wanted to talk
- 1:31Speaker 2: about it. We knew he was very, very sick. They
- 1:34Speaker 2: shared children together. Her focus now is the children and
- 1:38Speaker 2: really really helping her children understand if that's even possible,
- 1:42Speaker 2: what is going on.
- 1:43Speaker 1: This is their father, Kelly.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Kelly and her ex did not have a great relationships
- 1:48Speaker 2: towards the end. There was even accusations of money missing.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I think we had to pay her two million dollars
- 1:53Speaker 2: back in royalties in checks. But alas he has died
- 1:58Speaker 2: of cancer, and that Kelly Kelly is putting being a
- 2:01Speaker 2: mom first.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that is so difficult, you know, And I
- 2:05Speaker 3: think that with all going on, you know, she's been
- 2:07Speaker 3: having some troubles in general, with canceling the show. Now
- 2:11Speaker 3: she's back on the voice of course, which is adding
- 2:14Speaker 3: more stress to her schedule. So I just think that
- 2:17Speaker 3: she's really been balancing so much, and so this explains
- 2:21Speaker 3: a lot of that because she's been dealing with the
- 2:23Speaker 3: father of her children who wasn't not well. So although
- 2:26Speaker 3: they had a bad divorce, that's still her children's father,
- 2:30Speaker 3: and so it shows that she was involved.
- 2:32Speaker 2: You know, she's a good person, like she wanted her
- 2:35Speaker 2: children to have a relationship with their father. She not
- 2:38Speaker 2: so much. She became her manager. He didn't do a
- 2:40Speaker 2: very good job of managing her. There was money issues here,
- 2:43Speaker 2: there was lots of control issues. But he's passed away
- 2:46Speaker 2: of cancer, just forty eight years old. We knew it
- 2:49Speaker 2: was serious, we knew he was in bad shape. I
- 2:51Speaker 2: didn't think it was going to happen this quick. So
- 2:54Speaker 2: this has been going on full months. Sourced say, this
- 2:56Speaker 2: has been going on for month. It is a little insight.
- 3:00Speaker 2: It's a little explanation into why Kelly did cancel a
- 3:04Speaker 2: few weeks on her talk show, and why she canceled
- 3:06Speaker 2: the beginning of a Vegue residency and now she's canceled
- 3:09Speaker 2: the end of it.
- 3:10Speaker 1: However, there is a bigger picture here.
- 3:11Speaker 2: My sources are telling me it's not just her husband's
- 3:16Speaker 2: passing that has made her really stop. This is a
- 3:20Speaker 2: life changing moment. Yeah, somebody in their forties pass away
- 3:24Speaker 2: you think about yourself, and you think about your life
- 3:26Speaker 2: and your family.
- 3:27Speaker 1: And are you happy.
- 3:28Speaker 2: And I'm told that Kelly Now, this has shook her
- 3:31Speaker 2: to her foundation and she's working too much. She has
- 3:35Speaker 2: a lot of money. She works for every penny of it.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I'm not taking but when you work that much her
- 3:41Speaker 2: own talk show, she's a recording artist, she's on tour,
- 3:46Speaker 2: she's also on the voice. It's now a time I
- 3:49Speaker 2: think for Kelly to take a step back. It would
- 3:52Speaker 2: not surprise me at Talk Cory if she doesn't return
- 3:55Speaker 2: to her talk show. I know there's been lots of
- 3:57Speaker 2: talk about that over the last several month months. I
- 4:00Speaker 2: think that Kelly now is going to really really make
- 4:03Speaker 2: her priority looking after those kids.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, And you know the thing is too and
- 4:07Speaker 3: it's not to mock celebrities. I'm going to celebrate the
- 4:10Speaker 3: fact that they're lucky. They have the financial means. If
- 4:15Speaker 3: you will to step back and be able to do that,
- 4:17Speaker 3: you know so many of us.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Wish we could.
- 4:19Speaker 3: So I think if Kelly has those resources, all that money,
- 4:22Speaker 3: you know what, step away, help your kids to get
- 4:25Speaker 3: through this, be a good mom as you've been doing,
- 4:27Speaker 3: and the entertainment will be there for you girl when
- 4:30Speaker 3: you're ready, because we love me some, we love us some,
- 4:32Speaker 3: Kelly Clarks and Kelly and so yeah, take care of you, Kelly.
- 4:36Speaker 2: That's what having money is about. Money gives you those
- 4:40Speaker 2: opportunities to make those decisions. And a lot of my friends,
- 4:44Speaker 2: a lot of people I grew up with, they had
- 4:46Speaker 2: to go to work. They couldn't take a day off,
- 4:48Speaker 2: let alone a week scheck. A lot of people I
- 4:51Speaker 2: know growing up, they went to work sick because they
- 4:54Speaker 2: needed that check. If they didn't make that salary, they
- 4:56Speaker 2: weren't going to pay their rent. The kids were not
- 4:58Speaker 2: going to eat that with. Kelly is in a really,
- 5:01Speaker 2: really privileged place here.
- 5:03Speaker 1: She's worked for every penny. She has worked for it.
- 5:07Speaker 2: But now that you have money, enjoy it. Yes, my fear,
- 5:10Speaker 2: Corey is dying rich. I want to spend every penny.
- 5:14Speaker 2: By the time you put me in that grave, Corey,
- 5:17Speaker 2: I will have spent every single penny of bit. And
- 5:19Speaker 2: I want Kelly. I want Kelly to be happy at
- 5:22Speaker 2: the moment. This is a life changing.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Yeah it is. He's a young guy.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Relationship was very very very very difficult. This is just
- 5:30Speaker 2: heartbreaking news. We found out today that she'd canceled the
- 5:33Speaker 2: rest of her residency in Vegas, and my sources are
- 5:37Speaker 2: telling me it's just she can't perform while this is
- 5:40Speaker 2: going on. It's not for some husband wife affection that's gone.
- 5:45Speaker 2: These two are divorced. But he's still a human being,
- 5:48Speaker 2: and as you said, Corey, he will always be the
- 5:50Speaker 2: parents to those kids and that will keep them connected.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Old Kelly clocks and our heart breaks for you. Take
- 5:58Speaker 2: your time, don't rush back. You don't owe us anything,
- 6:02Speaker 2: take your time. Just the sad, sad story. Okay, moving along,
- 6:07Speaker 2: what's going on with Brooke Hogan.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Well, you know, continuing unfortunately in a story about death,
- 6:13Speaker 3: but this one is about, of course, her father, Halk Hogan.
- 6:16Speaker 3: So Brook's family, you know, they're having a fight because
- 6:20Speaker 3: she's been saying she doesn't want any of his money.
- 6:22Speaker 3: But they say, not so fast, Brooke Hogan. You know,
- 6:25Speaker 3: although she says she doesn't want to dine from her
- 6:27Speaker 3: late father, multiple sources are saying that she's actually not
- 6:30Speaker 3: given the full story. So this is about money. Don't
- 6:33Speaker 3: let the speeches fool you. A family insider tells hashtag
- 6:37Speaker 3: shooter scoop. And so you know, Brook's father Hawk Hogan.
- 6:41Speaker 3: He was sort of a savvy man when it comes
- 6:43Speaker 3: to reality TV. He built up a very sort of
- 6:46Speaker 3: infamous presence, and they're sort of insinuating that Brooke is
- 6:49Speaker 3: maximizing her opportunity to monetize from that. Now, she skipped
- 6:53Speaker 3: Hulk's Florida, Florida funeral and she was blasting his inner
- 6:58Speaker 3: circle on TMZ Live and claims that she wasn't even
- 7:01Speaker 3: in the will and she doesn't care. But inside her
- 7:04Speaker 3: say her public outrage is part of a bigger plan
- 7:07Speaker 3: to stay in control, maybe like to control the narrative.
- 7:10Speaker 3: And maybe that's gonna help her set the stage for
- 7:13Speaker 3: some other projects where she can benefit from the legacy
- 7:16Speaker 3: of her father for more leverage. Now, I don't know,
- 7:19Speaker 3: maybe that becomes a reality show again on her own.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Maybe it's books, TVs, deals, endorsements, who knows. At the
- 7:25Speaker 3: end of the day, I think she will be still
- 7:27Speaker 3: utilizing the hawk Hogan name to make a living, because,
- 7:31Speaker 3: let's just face it, if there were no hawk Hogan legacy,
- 7:35Speaker 3: we not even care about Brook Hogan. I'm just being serious.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it's true. It's absolutely the words of truth.
- 7:40Speaker 3: There.
- 7:41Speaker 2: You're saying, no wrong, this is messy. This This family
- 7:45Speaker 2: was really at war with one another. Now she's offering
- 7:48Speaker 2: to pay money for an autopsy, saying it was very
- 7:51Speaker 2: suspicious our father died.
- 7:53Speaker 1: She'll pay for it.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Also, she was cut out of the will. She did
- 7:57Speaker 2: not even go to her dad's funeral. Right, this is
- 8:00Speaker 2: bad blood and it really runs deep. However, I think
- 8:05Speaker 2: I think all this scream in the shouting, I don't
- 8:07Speaker 2: think it helps Brook.
- 8:08Speaker 1: It certainly does not help Paul Cogan. He's gone, and.
- 8:12Speaker 2: So it's very very Complicatedly, I think this is about
- 8:15Speaker 2: not challenge, challenging your emotions. Her emotions are all over
- 8:20Speaker 2: the place, of course they are. She felt like with
- 8:21Speaker 2: her dad and she never got to say goodbye. I
- 8:24Speaker 2: can't imagine where she is. And now she's going to
- 8:27Speaker 2: challenge them, really really push them into something that I
- 8:31Speaker 2: think is not going to help get it. We all
- 8:33Speaker 2: make these mistakes, we all get into a root, we
- 8:36Speaker 2: all follow the wrong.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Path every now and again.
- 8:39Speaker 2: But I hope she can can can take a moment
- 8:41Speaker 2: and think about this, because it's not going to end well.
- 8:45Speaker 2: The wife, Hulk's wife, I think her name's Sky. She
- 8:49Speaker 2: has inherited all his money. It was about twenty five
- 8:51Speaker 2: million dollars.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Either. I don't think she's going to cut brook in.
- 8:55Speaker 2: I don't think she's going to cut the ex wife in.
- 8:57Speaker 2: They have a brother to a son. I don't think
- 8:59Speaker 2: he's going to be cut in here.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Get your wills in order.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, yes, for no, Because it's your money,
- 9:07Speaker 2: it's nobody else's.
- 9:08Speaker 1: You decide who gets it.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Okay, Moving it along to a slightly nicer story, Thank goodness,
- 9:14Speaker 2: Kelly Ripper is taking the summer after Kelly Ripper.
- 9:17Speaker 1: We haven't seen her on the show.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Her handsome husband's been there with different co hosts for
- 9:22Speaker 2: a couple of weeks. Kelly's officially off thought for this summer.
- 9:25Speaker 2: They say she just wanted a vacation. How are the
- 9:27Speaker 2: Some people are saying she's a little bit burned out,
- 9:30Speaker 2: she's frustrated and this show has been going on now
- 9:32Speaker 2: for decades. Good for her, she's so lucky to have
- 9:35Speaker 2: such an amazing job that pays so well, such a
- 9:38Speaker 2: great job. But I think Kelly now is looking at
- 9:40Speaker 2: what she wants to do next. She has more money
- 9:42Speaker 2: than God. She never needs to work another day in
- 9:45Speaker 2: her life, so what is she going to do? Next them.
- 9:47Speaker 2: The dilemma I'm told that she has is it's not just.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Her job anymore, it's her husband.
- 9:53Speaker 2: So Kelly wants to quit this show, she better have
- 9:57Speaker 2: a little Chita chat Mark, because I don't know if
- 10:00Speaker 2: going to keep the job if Kelly's not there. I mean,
- 10:01Speaker 2: it's really you open up a Pandora's box here, because
- 10:06Speaker 2: if Kelly wanted to leave, what would happen if ABE
- 10:08Speaker 2: said ABC said, oh we'll recast the whole fit Sure,
- 10:11Speaker 2: I mean, because then Mark's can.
- 10:13Speaker 1: What he might not want to leave?
- 10:14Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, And I think Mark, I mean, he was
- 10:17Speaker 3: a celebrity in his own right to a degree. But
- 10:19Speaker 3: let's be honest again, just like with Brooke, I've got
- 10:22Speaker 3: to be honest, like his fame really at this level
- 10:25Speaker 3: comes from his success with his wife as her quote
- 10:29Speaker 3: unquote sidekick. I hate to say.
- 10:31Speaker 1: She insisted.
- 10:32Speaker 2: When Ryan Seacrest left that show and they were doing auditions,
- 10:35Speaker 2: Kelly put a foot down and said, no more of
- 10:37Speaker 2: this nonsense. The co host is Mark or I walk.
- 10:40Speaker 2: But Kelly made it very clear that can undermine Mark
- 10:45Speaker 2: in some ways. But I don't think he cares because
- 10:46Speaker 2: he's got a great job and earning a lot of
- 10:49Speaker 2: but like Kelly was the one, they would not get
- 10:51Speaker 2: a higher bark. They were looking at a lot of
- 10:53Speaker 2: other people. Now they had her with rotating hose, all speculated,
- 10:58Speaker 2: and then Kelly walked in and said, you know I've
- 11:00Speaker 2: played this game. I've given you this nonsense. Yeah yeah,
- 11:02Speaker 2: and now you're hied my husband. And I'm sure she said,
- 11:05Speaker 2: and you pay this much too? Oh my god, No,
- 11:07Speaker 2: fool here, this is the problem. There is a down side.
- 11:10Speaker 2: The upside is they do earn a great living and
- 11:12Speaker 2: he gets a great job. The down side is when
- 11:14Speaker 2: she leaves, he loses his dragon yehs, his protector.
- 11:18Speaker 3: I do wonder, though, there is a little wild card.
- 11:21Speaker 3: What if they kept Mark without her and it became
- 11:23Speaker 3: a success.
- 11:24Speaker 2: You know, he could be again when he comes home
- 11:27Speaker 2: from work. Can you imagine when he comes home from
- 11:29Speaker 2: work and the show has some bigger hit. Now Kelly's
- 11:31Speaker 2: not Yeah, this is a this is a cat of wood.
- 11:34Speaker 2: I don't like to work with partners like Bruce and
- 11:37Speaker 2: I have very separate for it's tricky, very sick. I
- 11:40Speaker 2: don't like it. I don't I see these couples who
- 11:43Speaker 2: work together and it never ends up yeah, it doesn't.
- 11:46Speaker 2: I can't think of one example of friends that I
- 11:49Speaker 2: have who work together who are a couple and it's ended.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Well.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, Joe and I have that kind of dynamic.
- 11:55Speaker 3: He's involved a lot creatively, but he have to sometimes
- 11:59Speaker 3: separate because we're too close, and so it can turn
- 12:02Speaker 3: into a whole you know, Judy Garland and Sid Luft momentum.
- 12:07Speaker 3: We tried to avoid it when we care as it's
- 12:09Speaker 3: like Elvis.
- 12:10Speaker 2: At the Colonel turned to the colonel, I really really,
- 12:14Speaker 2: I get too involved in it, Bruce. We made the
- 12:16Speaker 2: decision very early on. It's because friends of ours who
- 12:19Speaker 2: have worked together, who are a couple.
- 12:22Speaker 1: It's not good. They warned, it is not good.
- 12:24Speaker 2: And so we've seen their problems, their their their mistakes,
- 12:28Speaker 2: their challenges, and we decided this is not for us.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Kelly and Mark, you guys clearly did not get the memoir.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Okay.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Moving along, another person who is getting a lot of success,
- 12:42Speaker 2: a lot of attention because of a famous relative. It's
- 12:45Speaker 2: Nicole Kidman's daughter. What is she up to?
- 12:48Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, and I have an interesting take on this.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Let me tell you guys a story first. So Nicole
- 12:52Speaker 3: Kidman's daughter. Her name is Sunday Rose, which is a
- 12:54Speaker 3: very pretty name. So she just landed her first fashion
- 12:58Speaker 3: magazine cover. But sources are telling hashtag shooter Scoop that
- 13:02Speaker 3: it was not earned. It was handed to her because
- 13:05Speaker 3: of her famous mother, which is to be expected really
- 13:08Speaker 3: in this industry. But you know, Nicole is saying that's
- 13:12Speaker 3: not true. She's like, no, my daughter just walked in
- 13:14Speaker 3: like anybody else and landed the cover of a magazine.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Now most people are like, not buying that, but most
- 13:19Speaker 3: people are actually saying it's one hundred percent because of Nicole,
- 13:22Speaker 3: And one fashion insider says no one was checking for
- 13:25Speaker 3: Sunday at all until her mother started making phone calls.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Now she's again the daughter of Keith Urban and Nicole Kitman.
- 13:33Speaker 3: She made her runaway debut at mewmus Spring twenty twenty
- 13:37Speaker 3: five show, the same luxury brand that frequently dresses her
- 13:40Speaker 3: Oscar winning mom. So there's an obvious channel there for
- 13:43Speaker 3: a nepotism. But here's what I have to say about that.
- 13:46Speaker 3: I was very critical of Kaya Gerber when she first
- 13:49Speaker 3: came out as Sydney Crofford's I was very like, you know,
- 13:52Speaker 3: cause I'm a big I'm a purist from the nineties.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I love my supermom was a girl.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Yeah, so you're not just gonna walk in like that
- 13:59Speaker 3: and think we're going to praise you the kids who
- 14:01Speaker 3: that knew the supermodels the way we did. But KaiA
- 14:04Speaker 3: Gerbert may have used nepotism to get in. However, she
- 14:08Speaker 3: worked her tail and she and she she she learned
- 14:11Speaker 3: the crab. So I'm okay with Sunday Rose if she's
- 14:16Speaker 3: not going to rely on her mom's fame just to
- 14:19Speaker 3: maintain get in there and do the work. If mom
- 14:22Speaker 3: got you in, I'm okay with that.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Do the world, Yeah, yeah, do the word.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I think I would have passed on this cover if
- 14:27Speaker 2: my mom had been a COLKD and I said, give
- 14:29Speaker 2: me a couple of years, let me do the work,
- 14:30Speaker 2: let me earn this, let me get on a book.
- 14:32Speaker 2: I don't because I think her mom probably is helping
- 14:35Speaker 2: her financially, like they don't have to worry about you.
- 14:38Speaker 2: It's a different sort of life, and so there's so
- 14:41Speaker 2: many benefits of having a celebrity parents. I don't know
- 14:43Speaker 2: if getting me on the magazine covers really because we
- 14:47Speaker 2: all say no, one's saying not one person today is
- 14:49Speaker 2: he said, Wow, this Nylon cover is great, well done.
- 14:53Speaker 1: We're all saying did your mom ye?
- 14:55Speaker 2: But we're all we're all saying it so they think
- 14:58Speaker 2: it helps. But I think it's actually right a bad looking.
- 15:01Speaker 2: It's like if Bruce had a music hall, if it
- 15:03Speaker 2: was presented by Rob Shooter, You'll all be like, Rob,
- 15:06Speaker 2: we know what your name on.
- 15:07Speaker 1: That did nothing? I did absolutely nothing. But executive producer
- 15:12Speaker 1: is Rob Shoot.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Yeah. I want to be executive producer of Billy Joel's
- 15:16Speaker 2: music or a musical that has nothing to do with
- 15:19Speaker 2: my family. Like it's just it's a little it's you
- 15:23Speaker 2: know what it is. It gives you a fast track.
- 15:27Speaker 2: You've got to do the work. You might be ten
- 15:28Speaker 2: steps ahead of most, you got to do the work. Okay,
- 15:31Speaker 2: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:33Speaker 2: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but nine
- 15:36Speaker 2: show and Rob Shoot the idea friend Cory Andrews. Hey, Corey,
- 15:39Speaker 2: let's get to the polls. Last show, we talked about
- 15:42Speaker 2: Prince William and Harry They both attending their cousin Beta
- 15:45Speaker 2: Phillips upcoming wedding, but they have very strict demands. They
- 15:49Speaker 2: won't sitting next to each other, no photographs together, blah
- 15:51Speaker 2: blah blah. Is this petty? Are they just being petty?
- 15:55Speaker 2: It's not their wedding, it's not their day you turn up.
- 15:57Speaker 2: It's the bride and the groom's day is not about
- 16:00Speaker 2: William and high right, But these are they petty? Yes,
- 16:05Speaker 2: that's a hards this fact the House of winsor they
- 16:09Speaker 2: do petty, it's a reality.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I'm surprised like Andy Cohen hasn't like made this into
- 16:14Speaker 3: a new Bravo hit because they are really housewife what.
- 16:17Speaker 1: It feels like? Oh petty, petty, petty, don't forget to that.
- 16:21Speaker 2: On Today's Paul Page, Atten Nights, Rob Faceabook pages naughty
- 16:25Speaker 2: your zip I'm sure's a check backed on Monday.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Your results are not.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Oh it's nice.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Of the day.
- 16:35Speaker 3: I do love the story. It's about friendship and girl
- 16:37Speaker 3: girlfriend camaraderie, and I do love it. So basically, Selena
- 16:40Speaker 3: Gomez is revealing that her Taylor Swift friendship actually started
- 16:44Speaker 3: with her breakup with one of the Jonas brothers. So
- 16:48Speaker 3: you know, she's saying that it all began with that breakup,
- 16:50Speaker 3: and she's thirty three years old now and she and
- 16:52Speaker 3: Taylor had met had met back in two thousand and
- 16:55Speaker 3: eight while dating Nick and Joe Jonas respectively. It was
- 16:59Speaker 3: really that's messy though. Wait, that's a whole other episode.
- 17:04Speaker 3: We had to get into that later. But you know,
- 17:05Speaker 3: she says, we were young. We didn't know we were
- 17:07Speaker 3: doing and so she said what started out as a
- 17:10Speaker 3: shared heartbreak quickly turned into something much deeper because at
- 17:13Speaker 3: that age they became really good friends and they all
- 17:16Speaker 3: booned up over breakups, as girls do.
- 17:18Speaker 2: And she just.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Explained, and here we are now, sixteen years later, they're
- 17:21Speaker 3: really good friends. And you know, she's also recalled when
- 17:23Speaker 3: she heard the song love Story before it's released, and
- 17:26Speaker 3: she said, you know, I was thinking that was one
- 17:28Speaker 3: of the most beautiful songs ever. And she said Taylor
- 17:31Speaker 3: told her that it might be her first single and
- 17:33Speaker 3: she was so proud. But it all sort of stemmed
- 17:35Speaker 3: from that relationship when they were all young, starting out
- 17:38Speaker 3: and dating the Jonah's brother. So who knew.
- 17:40Speaker 1: There you go, pretty gra I love this.
- 17:43Speaker 2: It doesn't matter how you find your friends, wouldn't you
- 17:46Speaker 2: find them hold on to them often? I find friends
- 17:48Speaker 2: in really messy places. Yeah, you really have it. Having
- 17:51Speaker 2: somebody with something that we've both gone through together gives
- 17:54Speaker 2: you something to bond about. But these two are really
- 17:57Speaker 2: great friends. I wonder if the Jonas brothers are like
- 18:00Speaker 2: what we wish we had treated both of those. You
- 18:04Speaker 2: two are nicest that the day and now I noticed
- 18:06Speaker 2: the day we told you first did he is planning
- 18:10Speaker 2: a massive come back. He's planning a concert at Madison Square. God,
- 18:13Speaker 2: and his lawyer just confirmed it. Once did he gets
- 18:16Speaker 2: out of jail, he might even get a pardon. God,
- 18:18Speaker 2: for once he gets out of jail, he is planning
- 18:22Speaker 2: to come back with a vengeance. If you think he's
- 18:23Speaker 2: gonna sneak away with his tail between his legs, you
- 18:27Speaker 2: do not know perfect. Our reporting was first. This is
- 18:30Speaker 2: going to be the first of many many shows. Don't
- 18:33Speaker 2: be surprised if Kanye West is not sur guest at
- 18:38Speaker 2: the show.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Messy, messy, messy, what a.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Place we are in the same with a moment of
- 18:43Speaker 2: Ronna rob You don't have to be great to start,
- 18:48Speaker 2: but you have to start to become great. Greatness isn't
- 18:52Speaker 2: a prerequisite, it's action. That's what greatness is. So start messy,
- 18:57Speaker 2: start scared, start small, Just start You've got to start.
- 19:02Speaker 2: That's the hardest thing. If you're waiting to be perfect,
- 19:05Speaker 2: you'll never start. Nobody's perfect. When Alicia Key sat down
- 19:09Speaker 2: at that piano at five or six years old, she
- 19:12Speaker 2: wasn't very good. She became good. When Taylor Swift started
- 19:15Speaker 2: playing the guitar, she was awful, she became great. You've
- 19:19Speaker 2: got to start at the beginning. There are no shortcuts
- 19:22Speaker 2: to greatness. The only way you get there is by.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Doing the war.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Doing it today, tomorrow, the next day, keep doing the work. Hey,
- 19:32Speaker 2: that is it for today, noughties. Thank you so much
- 19:35Speaker 2: for listening to The naughtyburn Eyes with Rob and Cory show.
- 19:38Speaker 2: We're a production of iHeartRadio and Alvis Durant. Don't forget
- 19:42Speaker 2: to leave a comment if you can. They really really
- 19:44Speaker 2: really do help and remember altogether. And I let me
- 19:47Speaker 2: hear you're singing your lung if you're going to
- 19:53Speaker 3: Nice Nice with ra
