- 0:02I am the way I am the beginning. Hello, ladies and gentlemen, my
- 0:47name is Brett Keen from God TV radio.
- 0:49I hope you're all having a beautiful wonderful day out
- 0:53there. I hope that you all had a great
- 0:55Christmas and your New Years was good no matter what your faith
- 0:59is or non-belief. You know, I've noticed on my
- 1:03Channel that I made quite a few videos where I point out the
- 1:07negative stats that atheists have done.
- 1:09And I don't normally put a lot of positive things that atheists
- 1:13have actually achieved. What they've accomplished.
- 1:17And I think that if I'm truly going to do good and I really
- 1:20want to have a foundation of objective truth, then I need to
- 1:23talk about some of the positive things that atheists have been
- 1:27known for and have accomplished in society.
- 1:31Those who lack a belief and deities.
- 1:33That is the classic definition of atheist.
- 1:37As many of, you know, I've made videos talking about the stats
- 1:40that atheist had the highest suicide rate imaginable.
- 1:44Even if you were to combine the stats of all the religions
- 1:47together including Islam atheism is quadruple, and of course,
- 1:52according to the stats atheist, had the highest substance abuse
- 1:57acknowledged as the group that is most likely to get into
- 2:00drugs. And then second below them,
- 2:02transgenders and homosexuals, obviously, being a transgender
- 2:06know. Homosexual isn't the same as a
- 2:08philosophical position. Having to do with God, just as
- 2:12what it is. But today, we're going to talk
- 2:15about something positive. We're going to point out
- 2:19something that's extremely unusual.
- 2:22Some atheists, won't find it unusual.
- 2:24They won't find it strange. There will be a lot of
- 2:27Christians out there that may be shocked to find this out.
- 2:30In society. Being that Christianity is the
- 2:33most popular known religion. Today, Islam, underneath
- 2:38Judaism, Hinduism Buddhism and paganism.
- 2:42Way towards the bottom, its Basically lost a lot of its I
- 2:47guess interest from the young people in the Goths and the
- 2:50fluffy bunnies out there. So let's get into it.
- 2:54According to a study. Atheists, may not believe in
- 3:00God, but they may be better at loving Thy Neighbor than
- 3:03church-going folk a new study by the University of California.
- 3:08Berkeley suggest atheists and agnostics are more willing to
- 3:12help other people than those who identify themselves as
- 3:15religious. The reason for this difference
- 3:18to study found is because atheists are driven by emotion
- 3:22such as compassion, as opposed to religious people who may be
- 3:26more influenced by Doctrine. Communal identity are
- 3:30reputational concerns, the research suggested, although
- 3:35less religious, people tend to be less trusted wasting This
- 3:39research suggests that although less religious people tend to be
- 3:42less trusted in the u.s. America when feeling compassion
- 3:46and they may actually be more inclined to help their fellow
- 3:49citizens than more religious, people study, co-author, and
- 3:53social psychologist. Rob Willer said in a statement,
- 3:58We've had a lot of atheists actually make videos for the
- 4:01past 20 years. As far as I've seen, where they
- 4:04say things like, I don't need a Bible or I don't need God in
- 4:09order to do good unto my fellow man.
- 4:11Now, obviously a Christian could argue whether you believe in God
- 4:15or not, God wired you to have the compassion and the love, and
- 4:19the potential to be able to make the positive decisions that you
- 4:23make in your life and do for others.
- 4:25But no matter the way you look at it, At it.
- 4:28Whether you want to throw some theological slang onto that to
- 4:32try to refute. This fact that is shown Society
- 4:37atheist tend to be the most charitable and from personal
- 4:41experiences. I've also seen it for myself.
- 4:45I've actually observed it and some of you are going to ask,
- 4:49well, how did you observe that? I used to be a former atheist.
- 4:53I used to be one of the most popular atheist on the internet.
- 4:57I was one of the first One's actually come forward and
- 5:00actually start doing religious debates and even questioning the
- 5:04existence of God. And I made thousands of
- 5:07arguments throughout my time I spent over 10 something years
- 5:12doing the atheist bit before, I ended up basically going on my
- 5:16road to Damascus and seeing the light of God type of concept
- 5:22because of my experiences, I have a unique perspective of
- 5:26what it's like to to be in the atheist camp and then also be in
- 5:31the Christian Camp. A lot of people out there may
- 5:34have this idea that if you become a Christian or a speaker
- 5:38for Christianity, you're immediately going to become
- 5:41wealthy and you're going to be showered and love and community
- 5:44that are going to give and give and give this simply is not
- 5:48true. It's not true at all.
- 5:52Whenever I was an atheist and I put my PayPal Linker out for the
- 5:56first time and explained that I was Going to allow the pain and
- 5:59misery and you can watch a video.
- 6:01I got called the history of Brett.
- 6:04Keen. Why theist want me dead?
- 6:07You will see in my video that I talked about, that atheists
- 6:11actually sent me. Lots of money whenever I was
- 6:14dealing with a disabled child and going through a lot of
- 6:18miserable tragedies in my life. There were Christians who sent
- 6:22money, but Christians usually sent like $10 here.
- 6:25Twenty dollars here, there was a couple pull through years span
- 6:30that every once in a while since 50 to 100 bucks.
- 6:33But atheist usually sent $500 or $1000, I even had people that
- 6:39were sending thousands of dollars and the beginning
- 6:43whenever I was actually considered important or relevant
- 6:46to the atheist Community, whenever they actually like me
- 6:50and didn't want to see me basically six feet into the
- 6:53ground. So and I've actually had some
- 6:57people say that is Reason why Bret Keen left Atheism in the
- 7:00first place because Christianity pays better.
- 7:04That's not true at all. I rarely every once in a while a
- 7:08handful of Christians, every few months I might get 20 bucks
- 7:13here. I might get $50 here and it's
- 7:18great. It's wonderful, it's fantastic.
- 7:21And luckily for everybody out there, I'm not here for the
- 7:24money. It's nice.
- 7:26It's helpful, it'll help. With some of that bills that I
- 7:29got that pile up and everything, but it's not what I'm here for
- 7:33you. Don't do 20 years on YouTube for
- 7:3620 to 50 bucks every few months. Now, there's got to be other
- 7:40motivation and reasons. And if people want to hear why
- 7:44I'm like, I am, you can watch that video.
- 7:47I just suggested. Why do you just want me dead?
- 7:51It's true. A lot of atheists out there.
- 7:54They really, really want to be able to have a community.
- 7:58They may appear too many people out there, so they're imitating
- 8:03Christianity because they built their own churches.
- 8:06They have set up these conventions or places where they
- 8:11go to, or they get to hang out with each other and and talk and
- 8:15all that the atheist for the longest time have tried to learn
- 8:19how to go against what virtue Dawkins said.
- 8:22They want to learn how to herd cats.
- 8:25And it's extremely difficult because even though Someone
- 8:28calls himself an atheist, it doesn't mean that they're going
- 8:31to be like the next atheist next to him.
- 8:33And that's the same with Christianity to just because
- 8:36someone believes in Jesus Christ, doesn't necessarily mean
- 8:40that their walk with God, is identical to their neighbor.
- 8:44It just says what it is. We're all different people who
- 8:47went through different moments and experiences in our life.
- 8:52I think that what I would say about this though is it's also
- 8:57one of the reasons why a lot of popular super popular atheist
- 9:01may never find God why they may never change and they might not
- 9:06even ever consider even accepting God or changing their
- 9:10life. Around some of these atheists on
- 9:13YouTube have become very, very successful and accomplished.
- 9:17They've created a career, they basically have created a Urine
- 9:22atheism. They're able to sell t-shirts,
- 9:25they're able to make podcasts, or it gives them the ability to
- 9:29interact with a crowd that will route the Marne and parrot what
- 9:32they say, share their videos, a lot of Christians out there,
- 9:36believe it or not, not just financially, but a lot of
- 9:40Christians do not share each other's videos.
- 9:43They forget to like up the videos.
- 9:45They forget the favorite. They forget the post somebody's
- 9:48video that they liked on the Facebook.
- 9:50They just fine. And themselves too busy to do
- 9:53something that might help someone else.
- 9:56I got a ton of friends out there Christians who have hundreds of
- 9:59thousands of subscribers, and they don't even imagine, or even
- 10:04think for a moment that, hey, maybe if I give Brett Keen a
- 10:07shout out, or I do this or that, this guy old blow up in no time,
- 10:13that's not even, that's not even a thought in their head.
- 10:16And I'm not hating on, you don't have to do anything, you don't
- 10:20want, Channel. You can decide to do whatever
- 10:24you like and stuff. And I'm still going to love you.
- 10:27And I still think that you're going to go to heaven, providing
- 10:31that you continue to be a good Christian with a good heart.
- 10:35And it's not an obligation from God or myself that you do that
- 10:39kind of thing. So I'm not hating.
- 10:41I'm not like trying to do a Sly hit and people here but it is
- 10:47interesting and of course I'm rationally and logically going
- 10:51to question and ask myself, when looking at these results are
- 10:56these stats are and why it is that atheist seem to be.
- 11:01Abundantly helping Society in these type of ways and helping
- 11:06out their fellow man. Atheism, obviously has nothing
- 11:09to do with Charity. At the end of the day, everybody
- 11:13knows that atheists are convinced that they don't have a
- 11:17soul, they don't believe that they're going anywhere, and
- 11:21Warsaw worst off on a philosophical level.
- 11:25They look at their fellow man as nothing.
- 11:28More than complex chemistry. So of course, the theists are
- 11:32going to be scratching her head and going.
- 11:34Why the hell are they doing that for?
- 11:37What, why would they do any of this good?
- 11:40Is it because atheist want to look like they're better than
- 11:43religion? Well, the problem is is a lot of
- 11:47these atheists. They don't want their right
- 11:48hand, know what your left hand is doing a lot of atheists who
- 11:51are not doing YouTuber, making videos, they're not stamping
- 11:55their name on to all this stuff. They're asking Studies have Done
- 12:01this. Have you done that?
- 12:02And they showed proof that they've actually done charity
- 12:05and a lot of these peoples names are not even mentioned.
- 12:08It's just simply a study and you know what studies are like you
- 12:11bring in thousands of people you interview folks, and you don't
- 12:15put their private information out on the internet, which makes
- 12:18absolute sense. But a lot of studies say,
- 12:22they're the most charitable, they're the best.
- 12:25And I know that that would be really hard to be able to accept
- 12:28for some Christians because you driving down the road and you
- 12:31see hundreds of these tiny little churches, all over the
- 12:34place. And then you see, go into the
- 12:37cities and you see these big Cathedrals and he's giant
- 12:40megalomaniac churches and stuff that are just huge.
- 12:44It looked like auditoriums and you know, that you spent
- 12:48thousands of dollars given to your preacher or some super
- 12:53religious person on television. Vision.
- 12:55But unfortunately as some Christians have found in total
- 13:01disappointment a lot of those preachers.
- 13:04They don't do nothing with your money except for by themselves
- 13:07new cars, or jets or airplanes, they're greedy.
- 13:11They've only given the money to themself that you gave them
- 13:15perhaps. The next time you are thinking
- 13:18about donating thousands of dollars to some preacher, who's
- 13:21already got a nice suit and 10 Jets to his name.
- 13:25You may want to just give to the homeless guy or give to the
- 13:28people out there who are asking for help who are suffering who
- 13:32are miserable as opposed to a person who's already got damn
- 13:36near everything they ever wanted. perhaps what I'm
- 13:40suggesting for Christians if you want to catch up in the charity
- 13:44race, you may want to actually start giving Money to those that
- 13:51need it. And stop leaving the
- 13:54responsibility up to some Alpha religious leader that you don't
- 13:58even know nothing about that. You've seen on TV just because
- 14:02you like the way they talk, the way they say, things are the
- 14:05way. They wave.
- 14:06Their hands in the air and scream at the camera about how
- 14:09Jesus loves us. We've seen too many times where
- 14:15Christians, they try and they try and to give and give and
- 14:18give and then they get robbed by a church, they get screwed over.
- 14:23Well, guess what? Fellow Christians Brethren
- 14:25brothers and sisters. That's one of the reasons why
- 14:28some of these people out here are atheists in the first place
- 14:32and one of the reasons why they're never going to find God,
- 14:36unless God breaks them down or literally jumps into their life
- 14:41and gives The evidence that they claim, the so important to them,
- 14:45unless God does that you're not going to get through to them,
- 14:48this has become a lot of people's lives, it's become
- 14:51their reality, it's become the world.
- 14:54Some of these atheists have suffered because they have given
- 14:58up the opportunity to be with their family members, who may be
- 15:01religious or disagree with them. They have sacrificed
- 15:04relationships, their own mothers and fathers just so they can go
- 15:09along with the career. That they do.
- 15:12Now, the show's, these podcasts, these organizations, the
- 15:17American atheists Association the American atheists, dot-org
- 15:21and Richard Dawkins. Richard Dawkins makes money by
- 15:25selling books. Richard Dawkins makes money by
- 15:28going out and doing debates. If he were to say that he
- 15:32believed in God, now, at his age, But what is it got?
- 15:36What is the world have for him? All he has is what he did in the
- 15:41lab where nobody's looking and that's it.
- 15:47So it is what it is. Like I said, I want to be
- 15:50intellectually honest, I want to be truthful.
- 15:53I want to give atheist to pat on the back for the good that they
- 15:56have done. Yeah.
- 15:58Historically there's been the Stalin's and there's been the
- 16:01mouth and the, you know, the bad atheist.
- 16:04You tried to destroy Society but nowadays, according to society
- 16:08and its standards for whatever reason atheist or winning the
- 16:12race, whenever it comes to charity and kindness to their
- 16:16fellow neighbor. And I have a strange feeling, my
- 16:20fellow Christians that God appreciates that.
- 16:25That, although they label themselves different God
- 16:28actually takes that into account.
- 16:32Well, ladies and gentlemen, I hope you have a blessed day and
- 16:35God bless. I'll be doing a show at 7 p.m.
- 16:38on Friday. Everybody's welcome to come in
- 16:41non-believers and religious people like and you can argue
- 16:44with me about all this if you like you can argue with me about
- 16:48any of my videos, we can discuss.
- 16:50Oh yeah. And one last thing, I am looking
- 16:54for some intellectual atheist out there who are smart
- 16:59well-behaved capable of controlling themselves to have
- 17:02open discussions vs Ken told them whenever it comes to
- 17:07Evolution and abiogenesis as well as cosmology and the
- 17:11universe, the Big Bang all that if that's something you'd be
- 17:15interested in, let me know. So I can schedule an event for
- 17:18you. I've already had a pile of
- 17:20atheist already that I've put together who have I've had
- 17:23discussions, open discussions, not full arm debates with Kent
- 17:28hovind. It's basically you guys get to
- 17:30talk till relax drink coffee and not be forced on a timer on when
- 17:36you can respond or when you can talk you'll just sit back and
- 17:40chill like just a couple Bros in a room, discussing the meaning
- 17:44and purpose of the universe sound good, let me know if
- 17:47that's an interest of yours folks.
- 17:49God bless
