Governor Mike Braun blinked first in the battle with Andy Zay over his removal from the IURC. Despite citing Zay's potentially serious campaign finance violations as a reason for his removal, Braun approved a $625,000 settlement with the former State Senator. On this week's Statehouse Happenings, Rob Kendall and Jim Merritt examine the massive payout from the taxpayers, which kept the governor from perhaps having to testify under oath.
