- 1:22Speaker 1: I feel like this is on getting the naw You've
- 1:24Speaker 1: always said you want to be a radio DJ at
- 1:26Speaker 1: off the coastline. This is the radio voice, This is
- 1:28Speaker 1: the radio guy. Welcome to Antonio Bay. A little little
- 1:33Speaker 1: fog shout out for my carpenter heads out there. But yeah,
- 1:35Speaker 1: can you throw a love shirt out to the lovely
- 1:37Speaker 1: Louise for me? What song she'd want? Steely Dan? Right?
- 1:41Speaker 3: This one goes out to the lovely Louis who may
- 1:46Speaker 3: have to listen to this podcast if you every want
- 1:48Speaker 3: to hear this.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Soon she will be yours. She is your eyes, but
- 1:51Speaker 1: we're here to reive. Oh okay, I see what you
- 1:53Speaker 1: did there? Yeah, million dollar maybe this is an episode.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I did not expect this. I thought there's gonna be
- 1:58Speaker 1: some sort of abel aded thing because you have million
- 2:00Speaker 1: dollar Aby and Abe was used in the photo. Ab
- 2:03Speaker 1: was used in the photo for the for the wikie page.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I was like, Oh, it must be something about a
- 2:07Speaker 1: winning money or again or whatever you would think, so yeah, no,
- 2:11Speaker 1: But I was completely incorrect, and I actually thought the
- 2:14Speaker 1: premise for this was actually quite interesting. It's a you
- 2:17Speaker 1: win a million dollars, you can't tell your partner. That
- 2:20Speaker 1: would be a shit situation. To me, it's your classic
- 2:22Speaker 1: sitcom setup, and it is.
- 2:24Speaker 3: It is actually sort of based on I don't think
- 2:27Speaker 3: it's really sort of sighted in anything that I.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Read about the episode. But there is a story called
- 2:32Speaker 1: Brewsters Millions. Have you heard of. It's been made into
- 2:36Speaker 1: a movie.
- 2:36Speaker 3: A couple of times, I think, most recently back in
- 2:38Speaker 3: the eighties with Richard Pryor and John Candy, and the
- 2:41Speaker 3: premises a guy inherits like a certain amount of money.
- 2:46Speaker 3: In the prior one, it was like, you've inherited a
- 2:49Speaker 3: million dollars or ten million dollars or something like that,
- 2:52Speaker 3: but you have to spend it all in thirty days
- 2:54Speaker 3: and then you'll get one hundred million dollars. But you
- 2:57Speaker 3: can't tell anyone why you're spending it, okay, because he's
- 2:59Speaker 3: got the excentria gunggal. I was like, you have to
- 3:01Speaker 3: spend it all on this way?
- 3:02Speaker 1: Say's like a Mister Beast episode. It does, doesn't it? Yeah?
- 3:04Speaker 3: Yeah, so you know in the movie he's spending all
- 3:07Speaker 3: his money really near it's got Yeah, you had no money,
- 3:10Speaker 3: nag his money.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Don't be so irresponsible. No, no, no, I'm buying you know,
- 3:13Speaker 1: I'm buying this.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Basketball team and all you know, I'm going flying and
- 3:16Speaker 3: I bought a hot air blow and whatever, And I like,
- 3:19Speaker 3: why I can't tell anyone because then I'll make all
- 3:22Speaker 3: the money there.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're right. I mean this feels like it
- 3:26Speaker 1: could have been an episode of almost any sitcom in
- 3:28Speaker 1: terms of like, ah, what a whacky misunderstanding. Yeah, because
- 3:32Speaker 1: the thing is it was selfish already did leading much
- 3:35Speaker 1: high and dry. But if you felt like this could
- 3:37Speaker 1: be my lucky day, you're going to do it right.
- 3:39Speaker 1: That's true. Yeah.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Look, I got no problem with like the structure of
- 3:41Speaker 3: the episode or the setup of the episode. I get
- 3:43Speaker 3: a feel like some of the jokes could have been
- 3:45Speaker 3: a little better. The story felt the storytelling for a
- 3:48Speaker 3: little flimsy. I didn't I didn't dislike the episode. I
- 3:50Speaker 3: thought that a lot of okay stuff in it. But
- 3:54Speaker 3: when you've got such a great premise, it feels like, oh,
- 3:58Speaker 3: I really wish you'd lived up to it a little
- 4:00Speaker 3: bit better. But for the most part, not bad. Yeah,
- 4:03Speaker 3: a lot of a lot of fun stuff in this.
- 4:05Speaker 3: And I think the b plots, such as it was
- 4:06Speaker 3: with the you know, the funtendo z or what they
- 4:09Speaker 3: called it was like, this feels just like trying to
- 4:11Speaker 3: cash it on that.
- 4:12Speaker 1: There was a lot of stuff that felt like like
- 4:14Speaker 1: we better keep up to date with this crazy modern
- 4:17Speaker 1: world and all it's you know, new fangled gadgets and tech. Yeah,
- 4:20Speaker 1: so I lived through the weed. I was about to
- 4:23Speaker 1: say so, like I kind of I appreciate it. I
- 4:24Speaker 1: also watched his going this just feels very Hey, everyone,
- 4:27Speaker 1: the kids are playing with Nuize at the moment, which.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Yeah, one of the right Bill, yeah, Bill Oden Kirk right,
- 4:33Speaker 3: I keep on Kirk. They are, Yeah, they're right. The brothers,
- 4:36Speaker 3: yeah they are, they are. Now we've made it Cannon.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Whenever I see an episode as I get the feeling that,
- 4:43Speaker 1: you know, some middle aged guys watching his kids play
- 4:45Speaker 1: with their new toys, and it's like I don't understand this,
- 4:48Speaker 1: but it's gonna happen, so I'd better get on board.
- 4:51Speaker 1: For me, I was very much like the old people
- 4:53Speaker 1: are the old people the Springfield Real Time acount. Hey,
- 4:56Speaker 1: don' want to plug the TV? What are you putting
- 4:57Speaker 1: in there?
- 4:58Speaker 3: No?
- 4:59Speaker 1: What screens? Tablets? Windows? No, forget it. So it was
- 5:05Speaker 1: for a b plot, though it served its purpose for
- 5:07Speaker 1: just a break up time.
- 5:08Speaker 3: It served as plot, and it had bits in it
- 5:09Speaker 3: that I thought were actually really funny. Yes, there were
- 5:13Speaker 3: one or two lines and there was.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Like that's that's classics Golden Ears. But the ending left
- 5:19Speaker 1: me feeling got it depressed though, as oh, absolutely, you know,
- 5:21Speaker 1: it's probably a realistic ending because the nerves of the nursing.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I was like, I don't want them spry, and.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Don't don't make a sucky job harder. If the job
- 5:31Speaker 3: is going to suck, at least let it be easy.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I just think it needed to end on a comic note.
- 5:35Speaker 1: You just end up at Leasta walking out sad, and
- 5:37Speaker 1: the old peop were just looking like zombies, and I
- 5:39Speaker 1: was like, that's depressing, man. Yeah, well, here's the thing.
- 5:44Speaker 3: You could have folded the two in some way, the
- 5:47Speaker 3: two storylines, you know, I know you had to have
- 5:50Speaker 3: home a sort of.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Using the last of his money status quote yeah too. Well,
- 5:55Speaker 1: also to get back to the status quay, but also
- 5:57Speaker 1: to apologize to March. That was clear that had to happen.
- 6:00Speaker 3: But if he used some of that million bucks to like,
- 6:03Speaker 3: I know, how about we create a pickleball court or
- 6:05Speaker 3: something like that at the at the Springfield timic Castle,
- 6:08Speaker 3: and they use then you found vitality to get outside
- 6:11Speaker 3: a little bit. It's not quite it's not quite a
- 6:13Speaker 3: using money for good, but use the money for good
- 6:15Speaker 3: and yeah, and the old folks get a happy ending.
- 6:17Speaker 1: What does Grandpa say in your favorite ending? All the time,
- 6:19Speaker 1: dignity is on me and he's on me. Yes, in
- 6:21Speaker 1: this case, dignity is on Homer.
- 6:23Speaker 3: I don't think pickleball was invented back when this episode
- 6:25Speaker 3: came out.
- 6:27Speaker 1: You know about pickleball what it is? I'm just going
- 6:29Speaker 1: with it. Have you not heard of pickle ball? No,
- 6:31Speaker 1: it's essentially pickets ball. Pickle ball, Yeah, apparently very popular
- 6:36Speaker 1: with an older demographic. It's sort of like tennis slash
- 6:39Speaker 1: table tennis. Yeah, you're on a tennis court, but you're
- 6:44Speaker 1: not really playing with tennis records. He's sort of closer up,
- 6:46Speaker 1: but I think the ball's a little softer. I think
- 6:48Speaker 1: it's a tennis ball, so it's tennis, but it's run
- 6:50Speaker 1: around so much.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Kind of, I think it's still running around a bit,
- 6:53Speaker 3: but not maybe not quite as much as he would
- 6:55Speaker 3: if you're playing legitimate tennis. It's sort of like pickleball
- 6:59Speaker 3: full size table tennis. A full body table tennis. I
- 7:02Speaker 3: may be misrepresenting it, but pick.
- 7:05Speaker 1: A ball was invented in the summer of nineteen sixty five, shouldn't. Well,
- 7:10Speaker 1: it's a game, just a real resurgence in the last
- 7:12Speaker 1: couple of years. Yeah, as a children's backyard game in
- 7:14Speaker 1: the United States.
- 7:16Speaker 3: All right, well, now the boomers, because I think it's
- 7:18Speaker 3: been mostly played by boomers.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So it's almost like a hit like a volleyboy been
- 7:22Speaker 1: hit up and over. It's like shuttlecock neck, like badminton, badminton.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, so yeah, not quite tennis, not quite bad.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Have a great dame speaking. There's a Jewish guy in
- 7:33Speaker 1: this episode, the ol Jeish. Yeah, some good lines like
- 7:35Speaker 1: my roumate is dead. No take out my roommate, he's dead,
- 7:39Speaker 1: tell me my name. I love the old Jewish guy certainly,
- 7:44Speaker 1: all I like him today. But I just thought, I
- 7:46Speaker 1: feel like I've got in my notes. I feel like
- 7:48Speaker 1: I need to apologize a little to Algae because I
- 7:50Speaker 1: feel like I've been justified in many ways. But when
- 7:52Speaker 1: we watch the classic episodes, and even when we did
- 7:55Speaker 1: the review on the eight hundredth episode, I feel like
- 7:56Speaker 1: I've been ripping on. I always go because we're doing
- 7:59Speaker 1: season twenty one moment and home is a real prick
- 8:01Speaker 1: and all this and the jokes a shit. Uh. I
- 8:03Speaker 1: watched this one and I was like, so, I know
- 8:05Speaker 1: you didn't like Once upon a Time and Springford. I
- 8:06Speaker 1: really really liked it. I came to appreciate a little
- 8:09Speaker 1: more the more we talked about it, and I watched
- 8:11Speaker 1: this one here and I'm going everything. I praised the
- 8:13Speaker 1: eight hundredth episode four and saying, is what salone does
- 8:16Speaker 1: better than our Jean was kind of in this one okay. Well,
- 8:19Speaker 1: in particular, there was the callback. It was at the
- 8:21Speaker 1: end when they sang their song together, and I was like, oh,
- 8:23Speaker 1: this is just really sweet. I know that that song
- 8:25Speaker 1: sort of was set up for the issue and the
- 8:27Speaker 1: fault what would you call it? The problem? Yeah? Yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 1: and bother wing to talk about that scene of them
- 8:34Speaker 1: that was meant to be their big moment, they didn't
- 8:36Speaker 1: have it, but by the end they got their big moment.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I thought, you know, just Homer using the money to
- 8:39Speaker 1: have the flowers and stuff. Sometimes we say this didn't
- 8:43Speaker 1: feel earned. I felt it kind of was earned because
- 8:45Speaker 1: the entire episode, Hobe was doing nothing but trying to
- 8:49Speaker 1: buy shit for his family. It wasn't just spoiling himself
- 8:51Speaker 1: and trying to keep it a seat, because I feel
- 8:53Speaker 1: like season seventeen eighteen Homer would have been doing that,
- 8:57Speaker 1: treating his pals at the bar and upgrading moments and
- 9:00Speaker 1: doing things for himself, and then everyone going where'd you
- 9:02Speaker 1: get those new clothes from? I don't know, just don't
- 9:06Speaker 1: worry about it. But this one here was just how
- 9:08Speaker 1: can I buy ship for my family without them knowing
- 9:09Speaker 1: that I've got the million dollars? It's true? You know what?
- 9:13Speaker 3: Was he trying to do the right thing or was
- 9:14Speaker 3: he trying to ease a guilty conscience. Maybe it was
- 9:16Speaker 3: a bit of both.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe a bit of both, but insane though his
- 9:18Speaker 1: family got everything, that's true.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Well, they got the new washing machine, the new washing machine.
- 9:23Speaker 3: You know, he died all bones bones, that'd be you'd
- 9:26Speaker 3: be buying others or bones.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Nicholas Cage, didn't you buy the skeleton ahead of a tick?
- 9:30Speaker 1: He did? Yeah, just brought a bunch of out landish ship. Now,
- 9:34Speaker 1: and that's why, Nicholas Cage, Cage, you could have been
- 9:38Speaker 1: Superman man. I think we might have dodged a ballot.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I watched the clip and I was like, like, long,
- 9:44Speaker 1: like Nicholas Cage's hair black, and like that's not Superman.
- 9:50Speaker 1: He is not Clark. Can pretty imagine Cage trying to
- 9:52Speaker 1: do Clark can I can't do it. I just can't.
- 9:55Speaker 3: No. I mean, look, I think you'd give it a
- 9:59Speaker 3: red hot and I think I don't think he would
- 10:01Speaker 3: like really be at landish A's cluck in. I think
- 10:05Speaker 3: he'd try to do it legitimately. I mean everyone thinks
- 10:09Speaker 3: of like Nicholas Cage's Neiclas Cage. Yeah, but he can
- 10:13Speaker 3: he can dial it down. Yeah, he's in the family man,
- 10:15Speaker 3: of course.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Yeah. I still think.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Nineteen nineties here a Brendan Fraser would have been the
- 10:20Speaker 3: perfect Clark Kent slash Superman.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yeah, because the kids watch George of the Jungle yesterday.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I was like, fuck, this dud had it all, man,
- 10:26Speaker 1: Oh yeah, absolutely, I had it all.
- 10:30Speaker 3: There were some photos but in in Premiere magazine, this
- 10:33Speaker 3: great movie magazine was out in the eighties and nineties
- 10:35Speaker 3: that came out around the time of Georgia the Jungle
- 10:37Speaker 3: when he was.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Just in terrific show.
- 10:38Speaker 3: And you know he's in various sort of like I
- 10:41Speaker 3: think they reproduced like old art prints or like something
- 10:44Speaker 3: like that. But he was basically just down to like
- 10:46Speaker 3: a loin cloth or but he's showing off the George
- 10:48Speaker 3: that the younger body's like ging hell, I mean the
- 10:52Speaker 3: gen x kids and people who grew up in the
- 10:54Speaker 3: eighties and nineties. I mean, it's not like the apex
- 10:56Speaker 3: body was Brad Pitts Tyler did. And Okay, there's just
- 11:00Speaker 3: a shot of five club Yeah, oh my god. Yeah,
- 11:04Speaker 3: because's not jack like but incredibly lean.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Yeah, every muscle is define You look at that hot damn.
- 11:11Speaker 1: My memories of George of the Jungle were Brendan Fraser Jackson.
- 11:13Speaker 1: He wasn't jacked, he was just really lean. He was
- 11:14Speaker 1: just incredibly lean. Yeah. Running a very close second is
- 11:18Speaker 1: Fraser is George of the Jungle.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Wow? Wow, I hope you've enjoyed this male now not
- 11:24Speaker 3: at all gay on forming a gap. Now it's gonna
- 11:28Speaker 3: do some yeager without an.
- 11:32Speaker 2: My favorite?
- 11:33Speaker 1: Did you have any favorite moments from the episode?
- 11:35Speaker 3: What I would do as a person who does not
- 11:38Speaker 3: like cues and ends up being a maker of can
- 11:42Speaker 3: you Believe?
- 11:42Speaker 1: Make? Can you believe? There's noises? Yes? I appreciate it, Homer.
- 11:46Speaker 3: It's just going if I make kind of hm noises
- 11:49Speaker 3: and wanderf this cue will move faster. How often do
- 11:51Speaker 3: standing in line sort of do that to ourself? Not
- 11:54Speaker 3: not sort of thinking if I do this, this will
- 11:55Speaker 3: hopefully speak the lineup. But it's like one if anyone
- 11:58Speaker 3: else's wants to complain with me.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Yeah, we all. I had this just the other day.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I was.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I was in it Geelong Fresh Foods on Paco and
- 12:07Speaker 3: it's like traditionally there's two big queues and an express queue,
- 12:11Speaker 3: and someone had gotten into the express que with just
- 12:13Speaker 3: way too much stuff.
- 12:15Speaker 1: It's not that someone takes a full shop and try
- 12:16Speaker 1: to load through the self service. Yeah, and I was
- 12:19Speaker 1: very much come on foot yeah, yeah, just just.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Very like on a three on the Boneland.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I don't know if you picked that up, but we could. Yeah. Yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 1: I've done it once. I've done a few times. But
- 12:37Speaker 1: I remember once I did it and this woman turned
- 12:39Speaker 1: around to me and she's like, we're all stuck in line.
- 12:41Speaker 1: We don't have to sit here until you complain. And
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, ship, okay man, I've read this the
- 12:48Speaker 1: other day, and of course I've read it before somewhere,
- 12:50Speaker 1: but yeah, sometimes you need to be reminded. It's like,
- 12:52Speaker 1: you're not stuck in traffic, you are trapped. Yeah. I
- 12:57Speaker 1: used to be really bad when I was stuck in traffic,
- 12:59Speaker 1: and I sort of always take that mansion out of you.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I'm part of the problem. You are traffic. Yeah yeah,
- 13:04Speaker 1: Why is everyone out on the road right now? You
- 13:06Speaker 1: are on the road right now, that's you're read.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Yeah, there's someone in there's someone in that car next
- 13:09Speaker 3: to you. Why is he on those fucking DANDOK Jesus.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Something I was enjoyed was Homer stashing is money in
- 13:17Speaker 3: the local branch. Funny good gag yeap, And this is
- 13:22Speaker 3: what I was alluding to before, but I thought this
- 13:24Speaker 3: was a line that's straight out of like season seven,
- 13:26Speaker 3: eight nine of The Simpsons, where yeah, the at least
- 13:30Speaker 3: it's saying to the nurses at the retirement cost was like,
- 13:34Speaker 3: why are you doing this to the old bit was like, well, oh,
- 13:37Speaker 3: you should at least let them have their fun. They
- 13:39Speaker 3: should have had their fun before they got here.
- 13:42Speaker 1: That's great.
- 13:43Speaker 3: That's that's a line up there, Like what does he
- 13:45Speaker 3: say about your Grandma's Like you shouldn't mouthed up like
- 13:47Speaker 3: that grandma shouldn't have mouthed up like that. Yeah, just
- 13:49Speaker 3: like they should have had their fun before they got here.
- 13:51Speaker 3: I thought that was great.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I really got a good chuckle out of that line.
- 13:55Speaker 1: So there's some of my favorites. What did you think? Well?
- 13:56Speaker 1: I like the who said who actually says potato? Who
- 14:00Speaker 1: were stuck? God? Yeah, that's it? That is good. Yes,
- 14:03Speaker 1: and the.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Beau there's tomato, you say tomato and about some of
- 14:07Speaker 3: people say tomato as well. Yeah, and some of them
- 14:09Speaker 3: say potato, but no one says potato.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Some say potato, and no one's as potato unless it's
- 14:14Speaker 1: the rhymes of tomato. That's the only reason people say potato,
- 14:17Speaker 1: unless it's the Quimby's. I think the Quimbies would probably
- 14:19Speaker 1: say potato, potato, potato, potato. I also thought I didn't
- 14:24Speaker 1: mind Homer going what should I buy Hitler's Baseball or
- 14:27Speaker 1: Talking Mirror? We'll giving me advice. I advise you to
- 14:30Speaker 1: buy the Hitless Baseball. Do you think was it Dan
- 14:32Speaker 1: doing the voice of the mirror? I think it was.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Was it a hankle, Dan? Yeah? That was that?
- 14:36Speaker 3: Just grove me as a really good line reading. Yeah,
- 14:38Speaker 3: it was, I mean, just just a nice litle throat.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I'd buy. I'd buy Hitler's. My advice is to buy
- 14:42Speaker 1: the baseball, but there were plenty of other moments that
- 14:47Speaker 1: I thought just good zingers. Next question you there eating
- 14:51Speaker 1: the baste trivia time. My first question for you is
- 14:55Speaker 1: how much did Homer pay in taxes? Ah? Yeah?
- 14:58Speaker 3: What the government's cut was one hundred and fourteen thousand
- 15:01Speaker 3: dollars three hundred and fourteen thousand, five hundred and fifty
- 15:03Speaker 3: six dollars and seventy eight.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Cents, which seems like a lot of money. But I
- 15:07Speaker 1: thought when you won Lotto it was tax free likewise.
- 15:10Speaker 1: That's why I'm always trying to win Loto. Yeah, I'm like,
- 15:13Speaker 1: just fuck the government if I want a million dollars
- 15:15Speaker 1: and he took like a third of It'm like, are
- 15:17Speaker 1: you kidding me? You didn't do anything? What do they
- 15:22Speaker 1: say it's for? What does Uncle Sam say it's for
- 15:25Speaker 1: to partially to pay for a study, to work ahead,
- 15:29Speaker 1: to spend the money. That's right. Yeah, I'm going to
- 15:31Speaker 1: google here. Maybe it's just in this Australia, Maybe just
- 15:35Speaker 1: in the States, Lotto tax free Australia. Have a look
- 15:41Speaker 1: in Australia. A lottery winnings are classified as tax free income. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:45Speaker 1: that's right baby. What about the US? Australia? United States?
- 15:47Speaker 1: Maybe maybe they just made a joking episode that doesn't
- 15:50Speaker 1: actually isn't true. Oh what happens if? I don't know?
- 15:55Speaker 1: They tax the winnings first in the US?
- 15:57Speaker 2: Holy shit, but.
- 15:59Speaker 1: True, but they are. You can win so much money
- 16:01Speaker 1: at the lotto in the US though, I mean that
- 16:03Speaker 1: got those incredible amounts. To see what happens if an
- 16:05Speaker 1: Australian wins the US lottery? Well, that's true because we
- 16:08Speaker 1: can play in the national lottery. Yeah, so whatams of
- 16:11Speaker 1: an Australians a lottery? It sounds like a dream, but the
- 16:13Speaker 1: reality involves complex tax rules across two countries. Whether you
- 16:17Speaker 1: bought a genuine US lottery ticket or place to bet
- 16:19Speaker 1: through an Australian operator, the amount you actually take home
- 16:21Speaker 1: and can look very different. So US tax comes first,
- 16:25Speaker 1: federal tax of thirty percent. Australia is like no, keep
- 16:28Speaker 1: it all by yeah, yeah you want it, put it
- 16:30Speaker 1: back in the economy. I for shore your mates to
- 16:33Speaker 1: be my well your first question that was my what
- 16:37Speaker 1: is Valerie and Dave's married name? Oh? I miss that
- 16:40Speaker 1: what was it. It's Togasaki. Rothman was on like the
- 16:43Speaker 1: sign out the front or something they say in the
- 16:45Speaker 1: in the song oh do they yeah in the potato
- 16:48Speaker 1: Potato So wasn't listening. Yeah, indeed, so cousin Valerie is Japanese,
- 16:53Speaker 1: I guess.
- 16:53Speaker 3: So. Yeah, the Simpsons family tree just continues to be interesting.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Yeah, just randomly through a and then they maybe gave
- 17:01Speaker 1: it the shatter then because it's cherry blossoms are traditionally Japanese.
- 17:04Speaker 1: There we go about that. Maybe it's trade Parker, maybe
- 17:08Speaker 1: a tree Parker's x y Trey Parker's doing alright, your
- 17:13Speaker 1: next question. My next question is what were their jobs
- 17:18Speaker 1: married couple. In their vows, they said you are this
- 17:20Speaker 1: and I'm this, Oh this is you're a Starbucks girl.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he's a yeah the best guys. I thought
- 17:28Speaker 3: that's their coffees because Starbucks Starbucks coffee.
- 17:31Speaker 1: And I see. Yeah, they're just lamers young people. Yeah,
- 17:38Speaker 1: that makes sense, and they think they can bond u
- 17:40Speaker 1: mad Man. I'm like, I get that, I love love joint,
- 17:44Speaker 1: I give it. I give it what well as you know,
- 17:47Speaker 1: as a seller, I'm like, write your own vows. Yeah,
- 17:50Speaker 1: but we wrote our own vows. And I watched this
- 17:52Speaker 1: and I went, I wonder if a celerant was like shitty,
- 17:54Speaker 1: But I thought, wouldn't it be making her job easier?
- 17:57Speaker 1: Maybe not? Would you if they came to you saidond
- 18:00Speaker 1: we run ourn vows, I'll be.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Like fine, I'll be out if you like Otherwise people say, oh,
- 18:05Speaker 3: oh you wrote those vows. Won't be a rring guy.
- 18:09Speaker 3: My next question, speaking of checks and government cuts and
- 18:12Speaker 3: all that, king, what is the name of the governor on.
- 18:15Speaker 1: The check that they receive.
- 18:17Speaker 3: There's the big guy, the big giant check that Narnie gets.
- 18:21Speaker 1: It's Governor Bailey. Governor Bailey. All right, And my final
- 18:24Speaker 1: question for you is what were the headlines on the
- 18:27Speaker 1: Beijing Daily Worker.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Oh well, there was one about cookies are now more
- 18:34Speaker 3: optimistic or something, But I didn't see fortunate cookie is
- 18:37Speaker 3: vague or more accurate?
- 18:39Speaker 1: A former minister of cookies executed. Yes, there we go.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I had one more question question, speaking of periodicals. The
- 18:47Speaker 3: nurse at the retirement castle is reading a magazine. Do
- 18:50Speaker 3: you see what did you see? What the title of a
- 18:52Speaker 3: magazine was? It's called Envy Envy Magazines. In this one,
- 18:55Speaker 3: what did Barney read the economist, getting the economists with.
- 18:58Speaker 1: The adult magazines with a special report.
- 19:01Speaker 3: On the Ural mountains and something about top times in Indonesia.
- 19:04Speaker 3: There's always tough times in Indonesia.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it sounds like it soon kind of time? Do
- 19:07Speaker 1: you reckon? Why not? Yes? Started with the incredible Katy G.
- 19:19Speaker 1: We always love it, don't we? We do in need?
- 19:21Speaker 1: If we had a million dollars, we'd buy her a
- 19:23Speaker 1: cherry bossom garden in the in the shape, we would
- 19:25Speaker 1: buy her a small bouquet of cherry boss. Yes, and
- 19:28Speaker 1: keep the rest of us up. We would.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Indeed, by the way, I'm going to take advantage of
- 19:31Speaker 3: my batman shout out to Katy G.
- 19:35Speaker 1: What do you dedicating to it? What song? I don't know?
- 19:39Speaker 1: What do you like? Do you like? Sung by Sabrina
- 19:41Speaker 1: Karpenter Manchild, by the way, absolute banger of a song.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I like Sabrina. Yeah, Manchild's I know the song that
- 19:46Speaker 1: was on the muppash. I haven't listened to any other songs.
- 19:48Speaker 1: I was like, man, it's a good song, okay, Manchild
- 19:50Speaker 1: like the kids like me'sen the Muppet Girl, And I
- 19:53Speaker 1: was like, she now knows the Muppet Girl to the
- 19:54Speaker 1: cats I like Olivia Dean. Do you like her? I
- 19:57Speaker 1: don't know who it is. She's good.
- 19:58Speaker 3: I think she topped the triple j Hottess one hundred.
- 20:01Speaker 3: This song oh okay with man I need, but she's
- 20:03Speaker 3: got a good song.
- 20:04Speaker 1: I forget about good boys. Also the following people, Glenn Gomez,
- 20:10Speaker 1: Justin Parker, Zach Prut, Shanni Macker, Elliott, j O'Neil, Isabella Murphy,
- 20:15Speaker 1: Rach Beasley, Stephen Roberts, Sean DV, Pete Anderson, Timothy Belson,
- 20:19Speaker 1: Andrew Davis, Kevin Dental, Planned, flood Ballo Winderbank, Jack McFadden,
- 20:23Speaker 1: Heath Applebee, Adrick McCloud, Martrelevan Ginger and Pickle Preston Murray,
- 20:28Speaker 1: Talia Enriquez, Declan Phoenix, Brian McCoy, Logan b James Shephard,
- 20:33Speaker 1: Joe Redenseec, Dave Pretzels McNally, Gavin Lang, Dmi Miller, Charlie Joe,
- 20:37Speaker 1: Abigail b Sharpcater and Craig Alti smash Globster. I love
- 20:42Speaker 1: you and every one of those people, don't we miss
- 20:43Speaker 1: the Davis. I love them all all equally very much so,
- 20:47Speaker 1: including ALTI smash Well. Yeah, he's the newest recipient of
- 20:51Speaker 1: All I Love. Yeah, you can be also getting our
- 20:53Speaker 1: love if you are a stone cut a support of
- 20:54Speaker 1: ours on Patreon. All right, let's get into our review,
- 20:57Speaker 1: shall we? Of Million Dollar Maybe, which originally aired genuine
- 21:00Speaker 1: thirty first twenty ten. What do you think was the
- 21:02Speaker 1: top films at the US box office? Mister Davis and
- 21:06Speaker 1: Dan advertar. Yeah, I think that's a probably a pretty
- 21:10Speaker 1: good guess. Let's have a look. It was still Avatar,
- 21:13Speaker 1: just hanging on there. Number one last week, number one
- 21:15Speaker 1: this week. Number two still it's all the same. Number
- 21:18Speaker 1: two last week was apparently the Edge of Darkness, still
- 21:20Speaker 1: the same this week, and number three went in Rome. Okay,
- 21:23Speaker 1: then what Edge of Darkness is a Mel Gibson movie? Yep?
- 21:26Speaker 1: And when in Row pic on the Edge of All Darkness,
- 21:32Speaker 1: there was some It was.
- 21:34Speaker 3: On Twitter going around like a tweet by official mel
- 21:37Speaker 3: Gibson official mel Gibson official in it, yeah, something like
- 21:42Speaker 3: oh I can done me child trafficking and all this
- 21:44Speaker 3: kind stuff released the Empstein balve. Then underneath all this,
- 21:47Speaker 3: like citation needed, mel Gibson has no presence on social media.
- 21:52Speaker 3: And when in Rome, I think is a romantic comedy
- 21:55Speaker 3: starring Veronica Mars's Kristen Bell.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, she's my kids the voice of Alsa. Oh okay,
- 22:02Speaker 1: she sings for Alsa, right I believe? So yeah? Yeah.
- 22:06Speaker 1: When in Rome movie, who is she starting onside? Can
- 22:09Speaker 1: you go? I want to say it's Josh Jumal? Well done? Yes.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Oh and Kristen's now husband is also in this, Dak Shepherd.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Everyone's like, what are you doing with him?
- 22:21Speaker 3: That gay podcaster of note? Have us on your show? Yes,
- 22:25Speaker 3: let's do the Chelsea Handler thing. Haven't you start getting
- 22:28Speaker 3: emails from Dak Sheppard Share Expert.
- 22:30Speaker 1: We love you guys. By the way, Shared out guys.
- 22:32Speaker 1: We got another email yesterday from another representative from Chelsea
- 22:35Speaker 1: Handler's podcast, Chelsea, we're taking out a restraining order. Leave
- 22:39Speaker 1: us alone, lady? All right? Yeah. So that were the
- 22:43Speaker 1: top three films at the US box office when this
- 22:45Speaker 1: episode originally aired. Production code M A B F zero three,
- 22:49Speaker 1: written by as guy said, Bill oden Coat, directed by
- 22:51Speaker 1: Chris Clements. The catch gag there was a chopball game
- 22:54Speaker 1: for this one of that, but the catch gig. It's
- 22:55Speaker 1: Homer runs to the couch. First, he pulls out n iPhone,
- 22:57Speaker 1: presses the couch Gag app and downloads Bartley's and Margine Maggie,
- 23:00Speaker 1: making them run to the couch in the app, and
- 23:02Speaker 1: then gets an incoming call from mister Burns. He screams
- 23:04Speaker 1: and swallows the phone in.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Lieu of a blackboard gag or a chalkboard gag as well.
- 23:09Speaker 3: We're getting that little thing of something coming through the screen,
- 23:12Speaker 3: and this time it was spider pick.
- 23:13Speaker 1: It was indeed, Yeah, shooting the webs out. That's right,
- 23:15Speaker 1: speaking also of couch gags. So now we mentioned on
- 23:18Speaker 1: our eight hundredth episode review about the couch gag that
- 23:21Speaker 1: we never saw.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Yeah, that's yesterday's news. But yeah, tell me now I
- 23:24Speaker 3: get you.
- 23:24Speaker 1: They released the couch gag on social media as a
- 23:26Speaker 1: standalone video.
- 23:27Speaker 3: I'm what in the hell something we're going on at
- 23:30Speaker 3: the at Simson's HQ in that regard.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Between your your power with the poster, Yeah, what's Bill?
- 23:37Speaker 1: Bill Morrison? Bill Morrison, that's good designer the poster for
- 23:39Speaker 1: the eight hundred episode.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Yes, indeed, and this I don't know. It seems like
- 23:43Speaker 3: all their attentions to burted as something else. Yeah, almost
- 23:46Speaker 3: like something a bit bigger is impromptuy meetings for it and.
- 23:50Speaker 1: It's something that's some big screen idea. But the thing is, though,
- 23:53Speaker 1: why make a couch gag then not put it in
- 23:56Speaker 1: the episode, but then then go oh shit, yeah we
- 23:58Speaker 1: forgot it? Have it on social media? Do I think
- 24:01Speaker 1: if they put it on? Because what you think you'd
- 24:04Speaker 1: put the cash gear up before it was out of
- 24:05Speaker 1: an airs into sort of like a tease for them,
- 24:07Speaker 1: you would think, so it would be the best sort
- 24:08Speaker 1: of little teas or a little mini trailer, wouldn't you? Anyway,
- 24:12Speaker 1: anything can happen, Yes, anything can happen. So yeah, so
- 24:15Speaker 1: you and a guest stars Chris Martins as himself in
- 24:18Speaker 1: a little cameo there as well.
- 24:20Speaker 3: That's correct, the front man of Cold Playing, former husband
- 24:23Speaker 3: of Gwyneth Paltrow.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Former they're not together anymore? Really? Oh yeah, that they've
- 24:29Speaker 1: been apart for ages? Oh didn't I are you?
- 24:32Speaker 3: Are you aware of the phrase conscious uncoupling? No, this
- 24:35Speaker 3: is what they used to describe their separation.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Didn't they call it gid apple or something? They did?
- 24:39Speaker 3: Their daughter Apple is currently like twenty or something. Yeah,
- 24:43Speaker 3: I think she's like least a single or something, maybe
- 24:46Speaker 3: done a bit of modeling, trying to maybe branch out
- 24:49Speaker 3: into acting, had profiles and magazines. Everyone's like, yeah, we're
- 24:52Speaker 3: not quite buying this. Yeah, you're gonna have to sell
- 24:54Speaker 3: us a little harder on Apple. I feel also, I've
- 24:55Speaker 3: got to twenty five.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Apple stock is not gone through the roof. I feel
- 24:59Speaker 1: like I'm constantly in a world where I'm twenty five
- 25:02Speaker 1: or younger. Like anything happened post twenty five, I just
- 25:04Speaker 1: don't have any memory or knowledge of it. It's just
- 25:06Speaker 1: I know they Chris Martin and Gwen Podris, they're married,
- 25:10Speaker 1: and they've got a baby called Apple. That's just in
- 25:12Speaker 1: my mind. Now she's twenty in their didors, I'm like, oh,
- 25:15Speaker 1: when did I happen? But yes. The episode starts off
- 25:20Speaker 1: with Homer and Marge singing a piano duet. Is a
- 25:22Speaker 1: song called Let's Call the Whole Thing Off? I believe
- 25:25Speaker 1: so I think the whole thing yeah.
- 25:27Speaker 3: And I want to say it's written by the great
- 25:29Speaker 3: songwriter Cole Porter, but that could be wrong.
- 25:32Speaker 1: So the song Let's Call the Whole Thing Off is
- 25:34Speaker 1: written by George Gershwin Gershwin and Aira Gershwin Ira Ira
- 25:39Speaker 1: for the nineteen thirty seven film Shall We Dance, where
- 25:42Speaker 1: it was introduced by Fred read astare yeah and ginger
- 25:47Speaker 1: and pickle. Yes, Yes, so that is the song they
- 25:51Speaker 1: was singing. But yeah, it was always It's always nice
- 25:53Speaker 1: seeing Homer and Marge doing something as a team. I
- 25:56Speaker 1: mentioned this in our eight hundred episode review Irrational Treasure.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I like seeing Homer Andmage team up to achieve something
- 26:01Speaker 1: and actually achieve it, not because they're odds, but they're
- 26:03Speaker 1: actually working together. Yeah and yeah, it remind it took
- 26:07Speaker 1: me back to the episode when they sing those were
- 26:11Speaker 1: the Days, Yes, which was which was fun. They're practicing
- 26:15Speaker 1: for cousin Valerie's wedding. They're gonna be singing at the
- 26:17Speaker 1: wedding reception. We've got the potato potato, potato potato comment
- 26:21Speaker 1: that we're talking about earlier were pointing out, yeah, who
- 26:24Speaker 1: says potato? Yes, but March is still really nervous about it.
- 26:26Speaker 1: But then Lisa, she goes to visit the old Folks
- 26:28Speaker 1: home because just because I guess, and they're all staring
- 26:30Speaker 1: at a static TV screen they don't have the digital
- 26:33Speaker 1: convert and I was like this, this whole subplet kind
- 26:36Speaker 1: of feels dated because we's are dated now. Digital converters
- 26:39Speaker 1: for TVs remember that it's like your TV's ANALOGO. But
- 26:41Speaker 1: you can god digital converter for it, or we can
- 26:44Speaker 1: just buy on your TV. Yeah. Can you remember the
- 26:46Speaker 1: first time we bought a wide screen TV? It felt
- 26:48Speaker 1: like we're going to a new world. Oh yeah, my
- 26:50Speaker 1: movie fills the whole screen. It's hard to explain to
- 26:53Speaker 1: young people like it felt special, didn't it. No black
- 26:56Speaker 1: bars at.
- 26:57Speaker 3: The top, no square box, heavy square box in the
- 27:01Speaker 3: middle of your room.
- 27:02Speaker 1: And static sound Oh yeah, top of that TV on
- 27:05Speaker 1: over that corner and you can hear it on it's
- 27:08Speaker 1: just hummon. Yeah. Yeah, but yeah, So they've got no
- 27:11Speaker 1: digital converters. So she gives they give her the money
- 27:13Speaker 1: that they would have spent on TV evangelists. Evangelists. Yes,
- 27:16Speaker 1: it was just a lot in the last ten minutes,
- 27:18Speaker 1: And she goes to circuit Circus, which is apparently closing down.
- 27:21Speaker 1: So maybe this is on the back end of digital
- 27:23Speaker 1: converters and that kind of thing. So maybe everyone had
- 27:25Speaker 1: a HDTV by this point. Sounds about right, Yeah, but
- 27:28Speaker 1: I feel like, you know, the old folks, it would
- 27:30Speaker 1: make sense that they're just like, I'm not going to
- 27:32Speaker 1: get one of those HDTVs. I'm not going to be
- 27:34Speaker 1: around long enough to justify this expense. Yeah, that's true.
- 27:38Speaker 1: And mister Burns is there playing the funtendo z as
- 27:41Speaker 1: you call it, the self Powered Experience Approximator, and she's
- 27:44Speaker 1: never seen mister Burns has happily, so she gets the
- 27:46Speaker 1: idea maybe she shoul buy one for the for the
- 27:48Speaker 1: old folks. And I didn't mind hear Burns. He was
- 27:50Speaker 1: playing the shooting game. I'm shooting at I remember it. Yes,
- 27:54Speaker 1: we're back at work now. Homer is getting mocked for
- 27:56Speaker 1: having a girl friend. That was kind of a random line.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Home has got to get a friend. It's like, what
- 28:01Speaker 1: they really don't know how to use Lenni and car.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Yeah it feels that way, doesn't it. What's they're pointless? Yeah,
- 28:08Speaker 1: the jokes aren't. They're giving them a great and they're
- 28:10Speaker 1: kind of not inappropriate, but like, what's the point? Yeah,
- 28:13Speaker 1: or try try harder? Because we liked the episode where
- 28:17Speaker 1: they it was the b plot, but I think it
- 28:20Speaker 1: was once one Time Springfield where they were being scouted.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Oh that's right, Yeah it was that episode. Yeah, a
- 28:26Speaker 1: recent one, Yeah, which was fine, but still I don't know.
- 28:28Speaker 1: It just feels like the episode with the Thursdays of
- 28:31Speaker 1: Aby where they're just sort of making gay panic jokes
- 28:34Speaker 1: and oh, Homer needs a friend to help them do something,
- 28:36Speaker 1: just get Lenny and Car to do it. It's just
- 28:38Speaker 1: it's weird. But they are opening up the fortune cookies
- 28:41Speaker 1: here and all very very vague. I think cars are
- 28:43Speaker 1: something ones of something. You'll find something that you've lost recently.
- 28:46Speaker 1: And it's his faith and Homer's says this is gonna
- 28:49Speaker 1: be the luckiest day of your life, or something along
- 28:51Speaker 1: those lines, and they and he dismisses it, and they said,
- 28:52Speaker 1: don't dismiss it, as the Beijing Daily Worker says, which
- 28:55Speaker 1: is the most honest paper? Orso I think something on
- 28:59Speaker 1: those lines. Four figure discount. March Madness has begun. That's right.

- 29:31Speaker 1: the description of this show, and they say they're on
- 29:34Speaker 1: the up and up the Fortune cookies, so they say,
- 29:36Speaker 1: take advantage of it is a good theory. Any cookie
- 29:39Speaker 1: you can't EAT's waste of time. But you can't eat
- 29:42Speaker 1: fortune cookies right, Oh, of course they're actually pretty tasty.
- 29:45Speaker 1: You had like a nice little sort of multi flavor,
- 29:46Speaker 1: do they Okay? And Homer slips in and falls into
- 29:49Speaker 1: the candy machine or the candy falls out, so it's like, oh,
- 29:51Speaker 1: maybe it is my lucky day. Then he finds a
- 29:53Speaker 1: CD Please be compact, Please be combacked in the car park.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Do you ever find a CD? I've had a couple
- 29:59Speaker 1: of CDs in mile in my time. I found Can
- 30:01Speaker 1: you fucking believe this? I once found walking down the
- 30:04Speaker 1: street in town the ET twentieth Anniversary soundtrack album in
- 30:08Speaker 1: its cover, like on the floor, and I was like, okay.
- 30:11Speaker 1: I remember looking at the ground and the first thing
- 30:13Speaker 1: I did was there's cameras somewhere, because this is like,
- 30:16Speaker 1: if I'm going to get a soundtrack, this is the
- 30:17Speaker 1: one I'm going to want to buy and is here
- 30:19Speaker 1: and it's for free. Did you feel like you were
- 30:21Speaker 1: being Truman show? I thought something was going. I thought
- 30:23Speaker 1: I was just getting punted. I thought, as soon as
- 30:25Speaker 1: I picked this CD, someone's gonna jump out of me.
- 30:28Speaker 1: So I walked past. I walked past it. I left
- 30:30Speaker 1: the school. I was like, we're back. I thought, I'm
- 30:34Speaker 1: just gonna do it. See it up and picked it up.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Nothing happened. Went home. I was like, oh, you put
- 30:39Speaker 1: it on and you heard the lovely sound. Yeah, John
- 30:42Speaker 1: Williams's music. I was like, dude, and I'm still got
- 30:45Speaker 1: that CD. It's in the car or in our old
- 30:48Speaker 1: Sedan car listen to the ET Sandrick. I doesn't have
- 30:50Speaker 1: the MP the bluetooth in the old car. But the
- 30:53Speaker 1: thing is, it's like, what are the odds of me
- 30:55Speaker 1: finding the ET soundtrack score? Given your love for ET? Yeah?
- 30:59Speaker 1: On the just in this cover not broken? How did
- 31:02Speaker 1: it get there? I've always wondered, how did that CD
- 31:05Speaker 1: get there?
- 31:05Speaker 3: The crazy thing I've ever found on the foot path?
- 31:08Speaker 3: What's that small bag of magic mushrooms?
- 31:09Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 31:10Speaker 3: Did you?
- 31:10Speaker 1: Yeah? Where outside the jeweling advertise? When I was working there,
- 31:13Speaker 1: I'm looking down one. It was like, it's like, if
- 31:15Speaker 1: there's one thing I wish to find, it's this.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Please don't be regular mushrooms, Please be magic, Please be magic.
- 31:25Speaker 1: But now I look down like there's this tiny little
- 31:29Speaker 1: plastic bag, like what is that? Picked it up and said,
- 31:32Speaker 1: this look like mushrooms. May be magic mushrooms.
- 31:36Speaker 3: And I contact a few people in the know, so
- 31:39Speaker 3: I said, I sent a picture and I said, do
- 31:41Speaker 3: you think these gonna be? I think they canna be magical.
- 31:44Speaker 3: I said, they look like it. You want to come
- 31:46Speaker 3: over and try them? Yes, we're magical, but that's a
- 31:51Speaker 3: story for another time.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Yes, there we go. But so Hammers found the CD
- 31:56Speaker 1: of it is Emerson Somebody, Emerson, Lake and Palma. Yes,
- 32:00Speaker 1: and he's singing the songs having a great time.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Are you familiar with the piece of music fan fare
- 32:05Speaker 3: for the common man? Oh see, this is very much
- 32:07Speaker 3: of my youth, whenever you had like sporting, and that's
- 32:10Speaker 3: particularly the Olympics. Let me let me set the same don't.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Don't du don't don't du sport is coming up? Yeah, man,
- 32:24Speaker 1: wild word of sports.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's fan fa of the comment
- 32:26Speaker 3: by Amos and lake and put Okay, I thought I
- 32:29Speaker 3: was hope. So otherwise I've just made a whole lot
- 32:30Speaker 3: of noise.
- 32:31Speaker 1: I thought it was a Channel nine's wide World of
- 32:33Speaker 1: Sports sound. No, no, yeah, I know the music. Yeah,
- 32:38Speaker 1: that's that's my childhood as well.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Yeah, you'd find yourself sort of playing that before you
- 32:43Speaker 3: go out and have kicked kick footy.
- 32:44Speaker 1: It's like, come to go out and be, you know,
- 32:47Speaker 1: well a sporting hit. What's what I say is missing
- 32:51Speaker 1: from sports programs that they've sucked the fun out of
- 32:54Speaker 1: sports broadcasting. Now it's all serious and analysis and whatnot.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And I was like, when I was growing up, we
- 32:59Speaker 1: had stuff thing about foot fucking bought a tear your
- 33:03Speaker 1: I mean going to the ground, my best mate got
- 33:05Speaker 1: my scarf. And I'm like, that's what fucking footy is
- 33:07Speaker 1: not serious analysis, Like we're going to the footy to
- 33:09Speaker 1: fucking scream, act like deckheads and have a good time. Correct. Yeah,
- 33:13Speaker 1: let me back, you know, folks, I'm sorry, a correction
- 33:16Speaker 1: must be made. Oh no, he's done some research. Yeah.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I just raced out to my chicken out of the oven.
- 33:23Speaker 1: It was like in Parma, did do a reworking of
- 33:25Speaker 1: fan fare or was that just like a worldwide No,
- 33:29Speaker 1: they're English prog English prog rock, English prog rock indeed,
- 33:33Speaker 1: but fanfa The command was actually first written in nineteen
- 33:35Speaker 1: forty two by Aaron Copland. Was this not the cricket anthem?
- 33:39Speaker 1: Might have been it? Start off? Start off by going
- 33:45Speaker 1: that's that's what I'm thinking of, because I sounded just
- 33:50Speaker 1: like that bum bum bum. There's that, But there's also
- 33:55Speaker 1: the stuff you hear at the start of like the
- 33:57Speaker 1: six o'clock news bullet. Yeah, and it sounds anything, oh well,
- 34:01Speaker 1: this is just on Channel nine Australia. But then if
- 34:03Speaker 1: you you hear like, oh no, you just you bought
- 34:06Speaker 1: this from the States.
- 34:07Speaker 3: This is like CBS news. Yeah, it's so weird. If
- 34:10Speaker 3: you ever see like, yeah, an international news ball.
- 34:12Speaker 1: It's like, you'll use the channel name music what's going on?
- 34:16Speaker 1: That belongs to Peter and Mitchell and Channel seven that
- 34:19Speaker 1: belongs to the late great Brian Naylor. But anyway, how
- 34:23Speaker 1: do we get to all that? That's right? Yes, wow,
- 34:27Speaker 1: what a tangent. He's driving down the street and he
- 34:29Speaker 1: sees the lotto for a million dollars at the quiet
- 34:31Speaker 1: everyone's out there, buy a ticket. There's only one place
- 34:33Speaker 1: you can buy a lot of tickets in Springfield. Apparently, Yeah,
- 34:35Speaker 1: this is stretching credibility a little bit, but well maybe not.
- 34:38Speaker 1: This is before online purchases, maybe not. Who knows. Do
- 34:41Speaker 1: you buy a lottery tickets? Nikola does sometimes. But what
- 34:45Speaker 1: she does she always uses the same numbers, because the
- 34:48Speaker 1: thing is if you don't use the same number. If
- 34:50Speaker 1: you if you don't use the same numbers and then
- 34:53Speaker 1: your numbers come out and you've got different numbers, then
- 34:55Speaker 1: you'll just kick yourself. Well then yes, you'll want to unsubscribe. Yeah.
- 35:00Speaker 1: So what she does is if she if she hasn't
- 35:02Speaker 1: bought a ticket, she won't look at what one because
- 35:05Speaker 1: she does not want to think, oh my god, I
- 35:07Speaker 1: imagine I had to put that five dollar ticket this week. Correct,
- 35:10Speaker 1: because that's why I always use the randomizer do Yeah? Yeah,
- 35:13Speaker 1: But how would you feel if you had numbers and
- 35:16Speaker 1: then you didn't put it on and then you saw
- 35:17Speaker 1: they came out? It would it'd be hard to overcome that, right,
- 35:22Speaker 1: I think he just walk into the ocean, Jesus Christ.
- 35:26Speaker 1: But anyway, so he sees that and he has the
- 35:30Speaker 1: four bubbles. So one's Lenny. One is Marge and Lenny
- 35:32Speaker 1: say no, go buy the ticket, and Marge I say no,
- 35:34Speaker 1: I need you here to do this. This this song
- 35:36Speaker 1: with me and Lenny overrides Marginal, he rains on her,
- 35:39Speaker 1: and then he and she she leaves anyway, So that
- 35:41Speaker 1: is that then line. The line is taking longer than
- 35:43Speaker 1: he thought, so he's got the the grumbling as we're
- 35:46Speaker 1: talking about earlier. Maybe you'll speed up and make these
- 35:48Speaker 1: angry noises. Then Homer reads a Teachers of Spanish book
- 35:51Speaker 1: and explains his story to Bumblebee man, I.
- 35:54Speaker 3: See danzas of yeah, putting a little hot sucer on
- 35:58Speaker 3: his Spanish pronunciation.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought that was quite fun that bit. I
- 36:02Speaker 1: must admit, how big a queue could you go?
- 36:08Speaker 3: It's like I've got to be here at this a
- 36:09Speaker 3: certain time, but at the same time, oh, this could
- 36:11Speaker 3: be my lucky day. It's like if you saw ten
- 36:14Speaker 3: people in a queue, would you go, Okay, I think
- 36:18Speaker 3: I can do this.
- 36:18Speaker 1: I think I can make it. I feel like you would.
- 36:21Speaker 1: How long would the Q have a bee for you
- 36:22Speaker 1: to say? It would depend on how lucky I've been
- 36:24Speaker 1: earlier in the day. That makes sense, Yeah, if if
- 36:27Speaker 1: it felt like that makes sense? But I know what
- 36:29Speaker 1: you mean. Luck is all just make believe, right, But
- 36:31Speaker 1: if you genuinely fell, luck is real. Today is my
- 36:34Speaker 1: lucky day. You felt this could be my big chance.
- 36:37Speaker 1: I think you just have to do it right.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's amazing kind of justifications it can make yourself.
- 36:45Speaker 1: What's a long as you've waited in the line? Long
- 36:47Speaker 1: as I've waited is three and a half hours? No? No, no,
- 36:50Speaker 1: it was five hours. No, it was even longer. Fuck
- 36:54Speaker 1: because we got there at five o'clock. So seven hours
- 36:56Speaker 1: in the line for the Force Awakens. Wow. We were
- 36:58Speaker 1: first in line, I said, the first, remember you saying, yeah,
- 37:01Speaker 1: five to five, And then they guy tried to cut
- 37:02Speaker 1: in front of us, get the secret. It was just
- 37:03Speaker 1: like every man for himself once you're in there, and
- 37:05Speaker 1: he's was like, oh this shit. I'm like, no, you
- 37:06Speaker 1: fucking won't. But yeah, seven hours we waited for Force Awakens.
- 37:11Speaker 1: And yeah, look back now and think what was I thinking?
- 37:13Speaker 1: But he knows waiting for the for the vandom menace.
- 37:17Speaker 1: The thing is, well, that was that fandom me. She
- 37:19Speaker 1: looked back now and it's just like Force Awakens. It's fine,
- 37:23Speaker 1: it is, it's fine, It's fine. Yeah, but I don't know.
- 37:25Speaker 1: But it was exciting because it was the first Star
- 37:27Speaker 1: Wars before Fantom Menace came out when I was like eight,
- 37:30Speaker 1: so I was young. I remember going to it, but
- 37:31Speaker 1: like this was the first time when I was like
- 37:33Speaker 1: old enough to be a proper Star Wars fan. And
- 37:34Speaker 1: it's just anyway, Force Awakens for Awakens, but Marge is
- 37:38Speaker 1: waiting nervously at the at the wedding because home is
- 37:40Speaker 1: not there yet. They start reading their own vows, much
- 37:43Speaker 1: to love Joy's dismay, and they say the thing they
- 37:45Speaker 1: have in common the most is mad Man season two.
- 37:47Speaker 1: I just like the reading their mad Man season two
- 37:50Speaker 1: is to say we're so cool we know specific which season.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Give it a year. Then she calls, Homer.
- 37:59Speaker 2: Are you I'm almost there. I can see the church
- 38:02Speaker 2: people in the distance. Oh, here comes a train.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Ticket.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Hey, where is your ticket?
- 38:22Speaker 1: You? I have to give it to the people on
- 38:29Speaker 1: line who are committing to the bit pretending to be
- 38:31Speaker 1: the train and whatnot. They went a little bit too
- 38:32Speaker 1: long with it though, Yeah, the conductor gag was just
- 38:35Speaker 1: too much. The train sounds were fine enough, That's all
- 38:37Speaker 1: it needed. But then he buys his ticket and he
- 38:40Speaker 1: thinks he's gonna make it, but unfortunately Marge's already singing
- 38:42Speaker 1: the song by herself and I've got here. I'm having
- 38:44Speaker 1: a panic attack just watching this. It was very stressful,
- 38:47Speaker 1: lo wasn't I was adding anxiety watch because I guarantee
- 38:51Speaker 1: there's been times where people have probably been on stage
- 38:52Speaker 1: at a wedding thinking they've got the right thing and
- 38:55Speaker 1: it just bombs and it's like, what do you do? Oh, yeah,
- 38:57Speaker 1: this is your friend's big day. But like, imagine being
- 39:00Speaker 1: on stage when you spoke, you knew if the purposed
- 39:03Speaker 1: to be a double act, if you weren't let down,
- 39:04Speaker 1: this would have been working. It's like a Marge can't
- 39:06Speaker 1: improvise and I'm just trying to bring Bard on stage,
- 39:08Speaker 1: and so don't bring a kid into this. And I'm like, oh,
- 39:10Speaker 1: I feel so because it's like it's poor March. She
- 39:13Speaker 1: has she has low self esteem as in.
- 39:15Speaker 3: His Now I must admit this is done, of course
- 39:17Speaker 3: for quote unquote comedic purposes.
- 39:19Speaker 1: It's more stressful and it's funny, but at the same time,
- 39:22Speaker 1: I would just like I was not here. We can't
- 39:24Speaker 1: do it. Yeah, sorry, cut to the next item, or
- 39:27Speaker 1: how about you go, hey, Bart, you saw a singing
- 39:29Speaker 1: this fucking song. Haven't you sing it with me? Something
- 39:32Speaker 1: like that? I thought, but was a bit of a
- 39:34Speaker 1: ship head. It's like you've seen the bit, you've seen
- 39:37Speaker 1: the letters gag. But well, I think Bart's purpose in
- 39:40Speaker 1: this episode was to be a little ship Yeah. Yeah,
- 39:42Speaker 1: that's pretty much his purpose in the show these days,
- 39:44Speaker 1: isn't it kind of is you like potato?
- 39:50Speaker 4: You like tomato? Potato tomato. Let's call the whole thing.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I'm coming march.
- 40:10Speaker 4: Let him go, lou Someone going that fast has no
- 40:13Speaker 4: time for a ticket? Okay, who's ready for a wedding thing?
- 40:19Speaker 2: Not not joke? Whoa start the joke?
- 40:24Speaker 3: Not?
- 40:25Speaker 1: Who's there? I don't know that, I hear Lettuce.
- 40:29Speaker 2: Not for me.
- 40:29Speaker 1: He didn't let us, I don't know.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Don't drag your kid into this.
- 40:37Speaker 4: Let us congratulate the new couple.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Why won't she stop right? They're there, they're there, sweetie.
- 40:48Speaker 1: I have realized that he didn't make because much sends
- 40:51Speaker 1: the message where were you? And he drives off the cliff.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Now this new character, let's discuss this name. Talk about
- 40:57Speaker 1: Ricardo Bomba, Ricado Bumba. So apparently there was a competition
- 41:00Speaker 1: that The Simpsons was running where a fan could have
- 41:04Speaker 1: a new character created for the show, So the episode
- 41:07Speaker 1: featured new character created by the winner of the Best
- 41:09Speaker 1: Character Ever Worst Episode Ever showed on.
- 41:12Speaker 3: I honestly thought this was not a coincidence. I thought
- 41:14Speaker 3: that dude actually did that for a reason.
- 41:17Speaker 1: No Best Character Ever contest in which fans could submit
- 41:20Speaker 1: their own ideas for a new and possibly possibly recurring
- 41:24Speaker 1: Simpsons character. Dan know how many entries were sent in.
- 41:26Speaker 1: There were twenty five thousand entries sent in, and the
- 41:29Speaker 1: winner of the contest was a woman who was the
- 41:31Speaker 1: age of fifty two named her. Her name was Peggy Black.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Peggy Black, Where was she from? Yah, Orange, Orange, Connecticut.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Who created the character Riccardo Bombar. So you say it
- 41:40Speaker 1: your way, the fancy way, Ricardo Bomber, Yeah, we go.
- 41:43Speaker 1: She described him as someone that all women love and
- 41:46Speaker 1: all the men want to be so basically Brendan Dando
- 41:50Speaker 1: Oh no, Brendan Frasier nineteen ninety eight, Brendan Danos twenty
- 41:55Speaker 1: twenty six. The Black's inspiration for the character came from
- 41:57Speaker 1: the fact that there were no characters like him on
- 41:59Speaker 1: The Simpsons. I think there have been characters like that right. Yeah,
- 42:03Speaker 1: but I suppose, I suppose all the men that women
- 42:06Speaker 1: like men are jealous of on The Simpsons. Maybe, who knows,
- 42:09Speaker 1: but it just felt very cliche. All the women want
- 42:11Speaker 1: him and all the men wanted to be him, that
- 42:14Speaker 1: the other way around ladies town. Yeah, because I thought
- 42:18Speaker 1: Hank was putting his you know, he's spin on it
- 42:20Speaker 1: very much anyway, So nastag cancel Hane is something like
- 42:27Speaker 1: a casanova. As part of the winning prize, Black was
- 42:29Speaker 1: sent to work with the show's producers in La She
- 42:32Speaker 1: worked with the animators to bring the character to life.
- 42:34Speaker 1: In an interview with The Associated Pressure, Like stated that
- 42:36Speaker 1: she described the character and they drew him so I
- 42:38Speaker 1: could see if that was my vision of him, and
- 42:40Speaker 1: she continued, it's amazing to see how they captured what I imagine.
- 42:43Speaker 1: He's over the top, he's in your face. Ricardo was
- 42:48Speaker 1: getting busy consistently and thoroughly. Yes, it's a Executive producer
- 42:52Speaker 1: Al Gene was one of the judges of the contest,
- 42:54Speaker 1: which he described as a thank you to loyal fans
- 42:57Speaker 1: publicity's done. Gene also noted that there is a possibility
- 43:00Speaker 1: that the Ricardo character might appear on the show again,
- 43:02Speaker 1: although this seems unlikely since the Captain piece to have
- 43:04Speaker 1: been killed off in a fiery car crash. All right,
- 43:06Speaker 1: and once again, what was that catch phrase that he
- 43:08Speaker 1: got halfway through? Soon you will be mine crash? I
- 43:12Speaker 1: wonder if they wouldn't have told her that they're going
- 43:15Speaker 1: to kill the character off, because why would they? Because
- 43:17Speaker 1: she I imagine somewhere deep in the paperwork, it's like, you've
- 43:21Speaker 1: relinquished all rights of this. I mean, yeah, imagine thinking
- 43:24Speaker 1: I've created a Simpsons character right in twenty ten, you
- 43:27Speaker 1: watched the episode and they just kill him, You'd.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Be like, oh man, I was getting on those residuals,
- 43:34Speaker 3: but I just bought a boat.
- 43:35Speaker 1: It kind of felt like a slaff in the face.
- 43:36Speaker 1: They wouldn't. I mean, you got to go to the Simpsons,
- 43:38Speaker 1: you got to do you won the contest. But it's like,
- 43:40Speaker 1: what was the point?
- 43:41Speaker 3: I get the thing that I would have to say
- 43:43Speaker 3: to it. It's like, you're gonna be in this episode.
- 43:46Speaker 1: And you know you're gonna might return. Yeah, who can tell?
- 43:49Speaker 1: But yeah, we're just going to do a bit of
- 43:51Speaker 1: a gag. Yeah, i'd you had fun, Peggy, enjoy Hollywood.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Here I am about to start my new life in Springfield.
- 44:00Speaker 1: What an idiot. This is the perfect time from a
- 44:03Speaker 1: catch phrase. Soon you will be mine and as the
- 44:07Speaker 1: end of Riccardo Bomba, soon he will be dyed. We
- 44:13Speaker 1: hardly knew year again you would have been shadowed. But anyway,
- 44:17Speaker 1: that's the price you payer dealing with Harleywood. But Homer
- 44:21Speaker 1: wakes up in the hospital because he crushed his cards.
- 44:23Speaker 1: The news report, I'm so glad, I'm surrounded on my
- 44:26Speaker 1: my loved ones. Get out of the way. Though the
- 44:27Speaker 1: news report says that Homer has one test Lotter doesn't
- 44:30Speaker 1: say Homer, but it's he's winning numbers, and he realizes,
- 44:32Speaker 1: oh my god, now I'm really glad I didn't die. Well,
- 44:35Speaker 1: just lotto. I think tats loto was just an Australian thing. Yeah, okay,
- 44:39Speaker 1: we caught well, we're Australian test test. It's still called
- 44:43Speaker 1: tats lotto here here in Australia. So I always thought
- 44:46Speaker 1: tats lotto was I thought lotto was short for tats.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Lotter is not one word. It's tats as in tats
- 44:51Speaker 1: owns a lotos a lottery. It's tats lotto. We used
- 44:57Speaker 1: to abbreviate things in this country. It was great, by
- 44:59Speaker 1: the way, I can sounds in the backgrounds my lovely
- 45:01Speaker 1: wife in the shower apologies. That's right. Soon she will
- 45:07Speaker 1: be mine time a four finger discount after dark? Yes,
- 45:12Speaker 1: where so it was purchase at seven oh seven, I believe,
- 45:14Speaker 1: he says on the news report. I just love it
- 45:16Speaker 1: if she started singing like really off key me mama.
- 45:26Speaker 1: She then asks him to forgive her for being angry
- 45:28Speaker 1: at him for missing the night, and he realizes, oh
- 45:31Speaker 1: my god, I've won a million dollars, but I can't
- 45:32Speaker 1: tell my wife, and it would be a shit situation
- 45:34Speaker 1: to be in. Yes, But then he says, look, just relax.
- 45:37Speaker 1: So he relaxes to the point where he dies. He really,
- 45:39Speaker 1: he's out of his body. His soul goes back into
- 45:41Speaker 1: his body and he's alive again. We come back from
- 45:43Speaker 1: commercial and Barney. He's got Barney to claim the money
- 45:45Speaker 1: for him. So Barney says that he's the one that
- 45:47Speaker 1: purchased the ticket, and he says the taxes, which are
- 45:51Speaker 1: it was like three hundred million dollars something three hundred
- 45:54Speaker 1: and fourteen and fifty six dollars and seventy eight cents. Yes,
- 45:57Speaker 1: he's going to partially cover the cost of study to
- 45:59Speaker 1: decide what to do with this money. Oh, bureaucracy, I know.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Then Barney drops off the money to Homer, who hides
- 46:04Speaker 1: it in his tree. AKA, here's what my local brand,
- 46:08Speaker 1: local branch gets a good gag like that. Then he's like,
- 46:11Speaker 1: I was like, what can I do with the money? Well,
- 46:12Speaker 1: buy Hitler's baseball a talking mirror. I said, you buy
- 46:15Speaker 1: Hitlers baseball. And that's doing that, isn't he No, that's
- 46:19Speaker 1: thing it takes area. Is I think you should buy
- 46:22Speaker 1: the Hitler's Yeah. Yeah. Then Barney says, you can't spend it.
- 46:26Speaker 1: You can't spend it or Marge will know that that
- 46:28Speaker 1: that you lied. And Marge where she comes in. She goes,
- 46:31Speaker 1: we need a washing machine. The washing machines on the fritz.
- 46:33Speaker 1: And I was like, oh my god, I'm a millionaire,
- 46:35Speaker 1: but I can't even help the woman who birthed me.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Then he says to Barney, look, you can take anything
- 46:39Speaker 1: from the tree, and he finds somewhat some adult magazine.
- 46:42Speaker 1: The two episodes of the episodes two issues issues I'm
- 46:46Speaker 1: the Economist. The Economist, Yes, which sounds like a show
- 46:49Speaker 1: that would be you know, like the mentalist. Oh economist
- 46:53Speaker 1: is that guy's well he's like yeah, it's the TV
- 46:56Speaker 1: spin off of the Ben Affleck action movie. The Accountant. Yes,
- 46:59Speaker 1: I was gonna say, he's good with them. It's color numbers.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Was was a mathematician, but this is basically a police
- 47:06Speaker 1: procedural about a forensic accountant.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Yeah, someone who Oh this corporation is doing some shady ship.
- 47:14Speaker 3: Oh who can who can decipher these books? Only the economist?
- 47:20Speaker 1: There we go that ticket to success. Hoay, the economy
- 47:23Speaker 1: was waiting for it. I don't put money into tesslo
- 47:26Speaker 1: like an idiot. So yes, you could probably fucking do
- 47:33Speaker 1: it the economist. You could mate, literally could make the
- 47:36Speaker 1: economist make let's make it happen, but least then hooks
- 47:39Speaker 1: up the Z and she encourages activity and exercise, and
- 47:43Speaker 1: she suggests they played the tennis game, which I'm very
- 47:46Speaker 1: much the old people in front of a new tech.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Oh what I've got to scroll through this? What the
- 47:51Speaker 1: thing is? I love the tennis game, but I always
- 47:54Speaker 1: preferred we bowling. We bowling was the selling everyone loved
- 47:57Speaker 1: we Boling's like, whoo so good, I need get way
- 48:00Speaker 1: out at Leic's been playing guitar here on the way
- 48:02Speaker 1: I think I mentioned, but yeah, we bowling. I have
- 48:04Speaker 1: got the way out. I was so excited to expid
- 48:06Speaker 1: I was so excited to play with sports. I had
- 48:09Speaker 1: the cover on the shelf for like years, got it out,
- 48:12Speaker 1: dusted it off, opened it up. No disc what I'm like?
- 48:14Speaker 1: Where the disco? Where the fuck? Discom so disappointed. I'm
- 48:20Speaker 1: like fifteen dollars. But I loved all the old people
- 48:27Speaker 1: here getting excited and the old Jewish guy. I think
- 48:30Speaker 1: sense up coming. Yes, later, I'm looking at a poop. Later,
- 48:34Speaker 1: when out the park and Homer throws the frisbee too
- 48:36Speaker 1: the bush and forces Bart to go get it. He
- 48:38Speaker 1: went into something big the box. It's a washing machine,
- 48:41Speaker 1: and then he throws Bart to the utat. Yes like
- 48:45Speaker 1: the hul Oh yes that's right. Yes. So basically this
- 48:48Speaker 1: is where Homer is going to start now buying presents
- 48:50Speaker 1: for his family without them realizing that it's actually him
- 48:53Speaker 1: buying them. So we'll get a montage with everyone finding things.
- 48:55Speaker 1: So Lisa finds tickets to the Philharmonic, Sprinkletsic but gets
- 49:00Speaker 1: has extra medication that he needs on his burger Jimdicone. Yes, yeah,
- 49:03Speaker 1: Marge has items in the car wash. Well, he puts
- 49:07Speaker 1: on his scuba suit while the car was going through
- 49:08Speaker 1: the car wash and fills the fills it full of
- 49:11Speaker 1: stuff looks like kitchen appliances. What someone's playing at this point,
- 49:15Speaker 1: That's a really good question, because I was trying to
- 49:17Speaker 1: think of that mass So it was a song playing, Yes,
- 49:19Speaker 1: let us know, listeners, we'll bag it forth a discount
- 49:22Speaker 1: I work for us. Yes, Then he gets santasl Halber,
- 49:25Speaker 1: not just the bone, but a dinosaur skeleton. Yes, he
- 49:27Speaker 1: digs up in the backyard. Marge finds a necklace in
- 49:30Speaker 1: the nappy or the daper. They can't They couldn't be
- 49:34Speaker 1: good for anybody. Certainly couldn't been good for Maggie. And
- 49:38Speaker 1: I'm guessing who's gonna wear who's gonna wear? To wear
- 49:42Speaker 1: a nice bracelet after it's been near child's part, when
- 49:45Speaker 1: you've had your child sho over your hand and stuff,
- 49:46Speaker 1: you don't care anymore. It doesn't matter. We just talked
- 49:49Speaker 1: about the smelly car. That talking Patreon now. But Homer
- 49:55Speaker 1: then realizes that he hasn't got much money left in
- 49:57Speaker 1: his local branch. And but then finds him this scene
- 50:00Speaker 1: here he separates his shoulder. There's something about the sound
- 50:02Speaker 1: and that it's there when he's trying to move up.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Was it a Dislokay? I thought I thought he busted
- 50:07Speaker 1: his arm again because I thought he did something. But
- 50:09Speaker 1: he's fine the next the next day. Yeah, maybe it's
- 50:11Speaker 1: like a I thought it was like a discasion or something.
- 50:13Speaker 1: But it's just gross that sound of the st the
- 50:15Speaker 1: ligaments and not of me. So we come up fro
- 50:17Speaker 1: commercial and Bart's basically figured it all out and is like,
- 50:20Speaker 1: how can I make the most of this situation? Is
- 50:22Speaker 1: it your workout or at least you're out of the
- 50:24Speaker 1: house a lot. Yeah, so you haven't got Harris says here,
- 50:27Speaker 1: if I was interested in fun, i'd left before you
- 50:28Speaker 1: were born or something like that. I'm like, it's been mean,
- 50:31Speaker 1: but says no, you need to treat yourself, and yeah,
- 50:33Speaker 1: I need to stop being telephoned Jerry Lewis and the
- 50:35Speaker 1: rest of the year Jerry Lewis, And he asked, but
- 50:37Speaker 1: how do I how do I treat myself? And then
- 50:39Speaker 1: moa rise for his cut and I was like, kind
- 50:42Speaker 1: of what he's like, I don't know. I was going
- 50:43Speaker 1: around saying this and hoping it's applicable to something. Yes,
- 50:47Speaker 1: need to get mowing. It was a pointless to try
- 50:49Speaker 1: and slide Mow into episodes. It happened in the episode
- 50:52Speaker 1: where had the Moonshine. Remember he rocked up for the
- 50:54Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I got nothing against bringing in mum.
- 50:57Speaker 1: I'm very happy when more shows up at the same time.
- 50:59Speaker 1: It's like, I think I would prefer to if this
- 51:01Speaker 1: joke had more of a purpose. Then we get the
- 51:04Speaker 1: Coldplay appearance here. Chris Martin actually has a guest role here,
- 51:06Speaker 1: which would have been a big deal in twenty ten.
- 51:09Speaker 1: This episode of ED, they're playing what song is that called? Uh?
- 51:13Speaker 1: When I Ruled the World is as it's called When
- 51:16Speaker 1: I Rule the World? I know that's the lyrics. Let see,
- 51:21Speaker 1: Well it's the Wo Wo song. It's called Viva La Vida,
- 51:28Speaker 1: Viva La It's using a lot of like you know,
- 51:32Speaker 1: soccer World Cups and that kind of thing. It's to
- 51:34Speaker 1: live in La vida Loca of twenty ten. Well, like Coldplay,
- 51:37Speaker 1: I mean they'd been making some nice bank from that.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Oh make a nice bank from a lot of things. Well, yeah, yes,
- 51:43Speaker 1: And as I learned at the start, no longer married
- 51:45Speaker 1: to Quinnith Pultrait correct consciously uncoupled. I'm glad I got
- 51:48Speaker 1: to introduce him to that phrase. But I didn't mind
- 51:50Speaker 1: this guest appearance. It was short and sweet. So homers there.
- 51:52Speaker 1: They've paid for a Coldplay concept themselves, and I wonder
- 51:55Speaker 1: how much that costs to rent Coldplay for an event.
- 51:58Speaker 1: I think you'd have to be like a a Saudi
- 52:01Speaker 1: prince or something along. Yeah, I'm thinking, aw, some tech baron,
- 52:05Speaker 1: I reckon they do it for ten million. Yeah, probably
- 52:09Speaker 1: ten million for one gi. I mean if you say
- 52:10Speaker 1: no to that, then then you don't deserved it. Well,
- 52:14Speaker 1: I was reading about it was I think it was
- 52:18Speaker 1: one of the co founders of Twitter, Jack Dorsey. I
- 52:22Speaker 1: didn't know what happened. I remember reading something about, well
- 52:24Speaker 1: he now had some company that owns like part of
- 52:27Speaker 1: after pay or something like that. Okay, and there was like, Hey,
- 52:31Speaker 1: Australian staff members of after pay, come on over to California.
- 52:35Speaker 1: We're gonna have like a serving Safari and we're gonna
- 52:37Speaker 1: have a party and jay Z is going to present
- 52:39Speaker 1: and all this kind of something. They've spent like something
- 52:40Speaker 1: this's like sixty two million on the whole thing, and
- 52:43Speaker 1: then like two months later, I was like, oh, by
- 52:46Speaker 1: the way, you're all fired. By the way he is
- 52:48Speaker 1: doing things now. It's like when when Toyota I think
- 52:52Speaker 1: it was Toyota. I mean I could be maybe it
- 52:53Speaker 1: was holding. It wasn't for it. It was another car
- 52:55Speaker 1: manufacturer in Australia. Hey, we've got a meeting across the road. Guys,
- 52:58Speaker 1: just hop on his bus for us. Got on the bus.
- 53:02Speaker 1: They said they're going somewhere for a meeting. Drove him
- 53:05Speaker 1: to an empty lot on the other side of the
- 53:06Speaker 1: street and said, right, you're all fired. What the hell
- 53:10Speaker 1: It's like when you break up with someone's like, let's
- 53:11Speaker 1: do this is a public place. I don't make a
- 53:13Speaker 1: scene and they still make a scene. Hell yeah. But anyway,
- 53:19Speaker 1: so the Coplay concert, Homer says, but pauses them to
- 53:22Speaker 1: go to the toilet, and Homo says, you want someone
- 53:24Speaker 1: to play like him on stage, play tamburine, I think,
- 53:26Speaker 1: like you can do it, No know, someone like me
- 53:28Speaker 1: on stage. Then they go for a zero gravity experience
- 53:31Speaker 1: up in not space but just high enough where you've
- 53:33Speaker 1: got a zero gravity and I'm flying like Superman's dog.
- 53:37Speaker 1: And then they Burp, Like I want to say, like
- 53:38Speaker 1: Willy Wonka really want a scene which apparently wasn't in
- 53:41Speaker 1: the original book where they nearly get eaten by the
- 53:44Speaker 1: blades or something added he lifting drinks. Yeah, I think
- 53:46Speaker 1: I was all added for the movie. I could be wrong,
- 53:48Speaker 1: but I remember because Ali's been reading Charlie and the
- 53:50Speaker 1: Chocolate Factory and he didn't know what happened in that party.
- 53:52Speaker 1: He's like, this part is not in the book. I
- 53:54Speaker 1: think I could be wrong, though, it would be another part.
- 53:56Speaker 1: That's good that he's rant a bit of roll down. Yeah,
- 53:58Speaker 1: And as with the Great Fource, he's in Great two.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Good on him, legend put him onto Fantastic mister Fox
- 54:05Speaker 1: and Danny the Champion on the World next.
- 54:07Speaker 3: You like that?
- 54:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, had some great stuff. Who did James and
- 54:11Speaker 1: the j Pitch? Who did the Wishing Tree? That's Eden
- 54:14Speaker 1: Blood and that's the one. Yeah, he did the Wishing
- 54:17Speaker 1: Tree and the Lady. I think I think it was
- 54:20Speaker 1: the Wishing Chair and the Magic Far Away Tree, which
- 54:23Speaker 1: is about to be seen on the big screen. Really,
- 54:25Speaker 1: because they were massive hits in my primary school, we
- 54:28Speaker 1: always always bust those out. We loved it. Oh yeah,
- 54:31Speaker 1: Ianan Blant was very big. Yeah yeah yeah, famous five
- 54:33Speaker 1: Secret seven. But she also did those fantasy books about Yeah,
- 54:36Speaker 1: I think it was the Magic Far Away Tree, and
- 54:40Speaker 1: but something about a wishing chair. It's the Wishing Chair.
- 54:42Speaker 1: Yeahah yeah, it's got little wings on its legs and yeah,
- 54:45Speaker 1: you fly off and are still visualized. Broway Tree was
- 54:47Speaker 1: fucking dope though. I love those books. Yeah, well, there'll
- 54:49Speaker 1: be hits in our primary school. Our school was quite poor,
- 54:52Speaker 1: so we had, like when it came to the VHS,
- 54:54Speaker 1: we had Cop and a half, Yes she get talking siphoned,
- 55:00Speaker 1: but we had set the collection of Round the Twist.
- 55:03Speaker 1: So whenever it was like a rainy days, which episode
- 55:06Speaker 1: Round the Twist? Were watching? Kids? Which book? Do you
- 55:10Speaker 1: want the Wishing Chair? More? The Faraway? But then the
- 55:16Speaker 1: old folks are still playing tennis. They feel fit, they're
- 55:18Speaker 1: having a great time. That it's rejuvenated their lives. Another
- 55:21Speaker 1: round of waters in your finest paper cups.
- 55:23Speaker 2: And I like a fresh pair of socks tomorrow, a
- 55:27Speaker 2: matching pair. I want to put salt, done things, tell
- 55:30Speaker 2: me what my name is, take away my roommate is dead.
- 55:34Speaker 1: You know, they're energized now, they're full of life. Because
- 55:37Speaker 1: of this z that Lisa's done a great thing for him,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and the nurses are not fans at all. No, they
- 55:41Speaker 1: didn't seem that overworked, the nurses. They just had to
- 55:45Speaker 1: do their job. Yes, home and then see if I
- 55:50Speaker 1: was in that work right. Obviously, I've never worked in
- 55:52Speaker 1: that line of work. Obviously it has its ups and downs.
- 55:55Speaker 1: But I would rather be kept busy than sitting there
- 55:57Speaker 1: board all day. Oh absolutely, I don't want them against boredom.
- 56:00Speaker 1: I don't sit there being zombies. I'm don't worry, man.
- 56:03Speaker 1: That's what we're all going to be ahead. And eventually,
- 56:05Speaker 1: I mean not the old people.
- 56:07Speaker 3: That's we're going to be looking after the old people
- 56:10Speaker 3: for a little while, because that's just the way the
- 56:11Speaker 3: economy's gone.
- 56:12Speaker 1: This is where Homer says, He's like, I'm no longer
- 56:13Speaker 1: spoiling you, but I've had enough, as where Bart threatens
- 56:16Speaker 1: to tell March but it's been a bit of a
- 56:18Speaker 1: shit here. Oh yeah, you can kind of buy it.
- 56:19Speaker 1: But also, dude, it has been buying a lot of stuff.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Haven't you just put your head in? Oh well, this
- 56:24Speaker 1: is a necessary heel term for the story, Yes it is.
- 56:27Speaker 1: He tries to choke Bart in space, but he dances
- 56:29Speaker 1: only spins around, but Bart, she's basically making the most
- 56:31Speaker 1: of the situation. Lisa then arrives at the nursing home
- 56:34Speaker 1: and they're all just sitting there like zombies at the
- 56:35Speaker 1: TV again, and turns out the nurses and said, look,
- 56:39Speaker 1: so they can't go to the dish wash why would
- 56:40Speaker 1: you put in the dishwashow? And they look shady. He's like,
- 56:42Speaker 1: you meant to do that, and they basically want them
- 56:46Speaker 1: to be zombies. It makes our jobs easier. They should
- 56:48Speaker 1: have had their fun before they got here. Yeah, good line.
- 56:51Speaker 1: It is, Yeah, sad line. Funny line, but yeah, it
- 56:54Speaker 1: felt very much like saying Simpsons gay. Lisa walks out
- 56:57Speaker 1: sad and that's the end of the story. And I
- 56:59Speaker 1: thought that's what Actually, yeah, that's right. We don't get anymore.
- 57:03Speaker 1: That's that's that's the end of It's like, oh, they're
- 57:04Speaker 1: just oh they're just sad and miserable. Again, that's kind
- 57:07Speaker 1: of bleak. How about Lisa, you just go out and
- 57:09Speaker 1: buy another z for him. We'll actually get them tennis
- 57:13Speaker 1: rackets or tell them that, hey, she put it the
- 57:14Speaker 1: dish was make sure she doesn't put this next one
- 57:16Speaker 1: in there, but that would give it. I mean no,
- 57:19Speaker 1: she words status quo. They're about to eat some paninis
- 57:23Speaker 1: that Marge has made on her new toasted, but the
- 57:26Speaker 1: Homer purchase that's wide enough to make paninis. I love
- 57:28Speaker 1: a good panini. When we used to go to the footy,
- 57:31Speaker 1: we saw the food obviously, but we used to have
- 57:33Speaker 1: we still have. So okay, where are we in this story?
- 57:38Speaker 1: When I used to go to the footy before we
- 57:39Speaker 1: had Alliott, I used to always walk across to the
- 57:41Speaker 1: apco across the road from the footy ground and buy
- 57:43Speaker 1: my lunch in the app Cooke because they have good
- 57:44Speaker 1: tucker in there, right, And they'd always have a chicken
- 57:47Speaker 1: palmi panini and it was just basically chicken parmegana with
- 57:50Speaker 1: like the napoli sauce and the cheese, but it was
- 57:52Speaker 1: like toasted in the panini. It's fucking delicious. It was
- 57:54Speaker 1: only eight dollars, right, so I used to get two obviously,
- 57:57Speaker 1: as you would. That's two for fifteen. So why wouldn't
- 57:59Speaker 1: you right save the dollar now? Because now they're gonna
- 58:01Speaker 1: watch Elliott can't leave the Ground'm not gonna take an
- 58:03Speaker 1: Alliant across the way blah blah blah blah. But I
- 58:05Speaker 1: just have memories of you'll deny your son and panini?
- 58:08Speaker 1: What's wrong with you? It's the hassle of getting with
- 58:10Speaker 1: a child. But the thing is eating those paninies from Abco.
- 58:15Speaker 1: I just have memories of. Whenever think of paniam, it's
- 58:18Speaker 1: the palmi panini that was so delicious. What's your favorite
- 58:20Speaker 1: kind of panini? I think you'd be like a salami
- 58:22Speaker 1: and cheese. Oh yeah, absolutely, yeah, yeah. I mean what
- 58:25Speaker 1: is it about the bread that makes a panine so delicious?
- 58:27Speaker 1: Though it's it's it's base different likes. It's like a
- 58:29Speaker 1: flat bread. It's a little yeah, it's not quite as
- 58:33Speaker 1: and it's thick, but it's not overbearingly thing that's right. Yeah.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Plus the toasting I think it does a just doing
- 58:40Speaker 1: a lot of the work there. I used to know
- 58:43Speaker 1: a girl. They did a girl. Some would say would
- 58:45Speaker 1: buy a panini. The girl would say that, yeah, we'd
- 58:48Speaker 1: buy a panini and she wouldn't toast it. And it
- 58:51Speaker 1: always baffled me. She would always eat just this cold,
- 58:54Speaker 1: this coldad of the fish. And I'm like, but it's taste.
- 58:56Speaker 1: She tastes butter on it's warm. She's like, nah, I
- 58:57Speaker 1: don't like the mud of the cheese. I'm like, well sometimes.
- 59:02Speaker 3: Sometimes sometimes, know, I mean I will more often than
- 59:06Speaker 3: not toast a sandwich you got, yeah, but every once
- 59:09Speaker 3: in a while. I mean, you've got fresh bread, you
- 59:12Speaker 3: got ingreens straight from the deli or whatever.
- 59:13Speaker 1: It's like, oh, these breads are soft. It's like biting
- 59:16Speaker 1: into a cloud. Yeah. I did this the other day,
- 59:18Speaker 1: I guess, you know, I got some mortar dellas, some
- 59:21Speaker 1: just the rest of the Boordain sandwich. Yeah, man, And
- 59:24Speaker 1: I was like, normally I would toast this. It's stuck
- 59:26Speaker 1: with you.
- 59:26Speaker 3: Yeah, and this is my favorite sandwich. Me and Boordain
- 59:30Speaker 3: are like that. But yeah, for the time being, it's like,
- 59:32Speaker 3: this is going to be my sandwich. But I had
- 59:35Speaker 3: all fresh and greens, like, you know what, I could
- 59:37Speaker 3: toast this, but I think it's going to taste just
- 59:39Speaker 3: as nice.
- 59:41Speaker 1: Fresh and it's good. You're gonna be careful not to
- 59:43Speaker 1: overtoasted his bockle, you know what. The bread to be crispy.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:46Speaker 3: Please tune in for more cooking tips from Yeah. It's
- 59:49Speaker 3: like a pretty sea cook except that cook.

- 1:00:07Speaker 1: people aware of what's going on here? Or you could
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: just listen to every episode. We put a supporter of
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: ours on pages and you get access to all the
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: over two hundred hours of bonus content and you'll get
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: the grand mosaic of all the references that Dan to
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: when I make Indeed. Yeah, but Bart nearly tells Marge here,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: did you think that the thing came from the government
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: because it's from the gunment or something Homo rights. I
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: think same from the government anyway, the Stimilars package. She
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: asked about Bart's presentation and says, what Dad's going to
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: be the Neanthal Man, and Home is like denying. He's like, nah,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: I don't want to, Like, I'll tell you Mark, Fine,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: I'll take you. I'll do it for real. Ship. Yeah,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: so we come to school and he's playing a Neanderthal man.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Come on Missing Link, put on a show Evolve Yeah,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: just yeah, I think it's sprain your ankle and no,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: it's a death sentence and that kind of stuff anyway,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: and he gets extra credit for getting a doing the
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Caveman break dance. Then Bart needs Homer to rickshaw him
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: to Phsucker practice, and he sees himself in the reflection
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: and his quits. He goes, no, I'm not doing this anymore,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: not gonna happen. He says he's going to tell Marge first,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: and then Milhouse takes over. He says, just because you're
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: my best friend, afraid to use to whip. Then Homer
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: has got Marge on a hot air balloon. But I
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: really like this though, because we often say you often
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: say I think I'm a bit more sort of forgiving,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: but you often say that the emotional endings in the
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: recent episodes aren't earned. I think Homer earned this. But
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I think throughout the episode he was doing as I said,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: He was doing nothing but positive things to the families,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: and for the right reasons. He wasn't he What was
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: he getting out of any of this besides helping his family?
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Not a whole lot. I never saw him buy anything
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: for himself, except for when Bart said no, the bad,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: the bad Voice of reason spoil yourself. Besides that, Homer's
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: incentive was to please his family. Correct. So he comes
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: clean and she says she doesn't care. I've got a
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: million dollars and he's like, well, I actually know that
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: the taxman took a lot of it, and you know,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: I've put a lot of things for you, and I
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: didn't realize he could actually hire a blow yes. Yeah.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: And then she's like, oh, so back to where we were,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: and he's like, yes, but look it down and she
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: seeves the cherry blossoms which spell love of my Life.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: And then they sing the song, which was you know,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: you say potato, I say potato. Nice little callback brought
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: everything full circle. They finally got to do their song
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: as they're flying over the fields that has love of
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: my Life. And as it's flying away, we'll see another
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: separate field that has Homer's face saying whew. That's the
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: end of the episode. A million dollars. Maybe this episode
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: surprised me. I really had no memories of this episode,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: very low expectations. I thought there was going to be
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: another Grand par episode for some reason because maybe rhyms
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: of ab maybe, But I yeah, I was. I enjoyed
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: the b plot besides the bleak ending, I thought Homer
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: was great route For the most part, Homa did well. Yeah,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: I mean a fuck up, but for the right reasons. Yeah,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: a fuck up that was selfish, but you could see
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: yourself doing.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: It justifiable, yes, or explainable or relatable is probably the
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: best way to put it.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: And I thought they made Marge's sort of what shit
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: to go through the emotional turmoil being up on stage that,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Oh absolutely. I couldn't imagine being up on stage and
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: just bombing like that. It was just it would destroy me. Yeah,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: so I just thought, overall, this is a very would
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: never happened. You think on your feet too well? No, no, no,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I thought this was a very well written episode. So
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: while done to our man, Bill Odenkirk, good job, indeed,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: not just the brother of Bob, No not. Indeed, what
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: do we learn Bomber? So what'd you learn from the episode,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: mister Davis? Oh? What did I learn? The tax rate
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: for lottery winnings in the US, It's insane. I learned
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: that if Simpsons ever invited us to create catter for
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: the show, don't expect it to be a man for
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: more than like three seasonds. Don't expect those sweet sweet
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: brigidus from forward. Your names will be all right, mister Davis,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: it is time now for the Guy Davis New Nan Championship.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: The current leaderboard stands at this In first position we
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: have Philip Jay Hawkins on sixteen points. In second position
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: we have Kevin Cale Kyle Mouldoon on nine points, and
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: in third position we have Nathan Briggs Briggsy on eight points.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Take it way, nice one, Brigsy. All right. One point
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: goes to dope millionaire. Dope millionaire? Do you really you
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: know what this is reference to me? I don't. I
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: was about to ask you. There was a reality TV
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: show in the early two thousands called Joe Million of
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: course it was, which was bacheloreesque. It's like, hey, look
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: at this handsome guy and guess what. He's got a
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: whole lot of money. Ladies, oh, vie for his hand,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: and then at the end you realize, oh, it's revealed
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: like he's just an average Joe doesn't have a millionaire.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: He works a subway. His name is but yeah, so
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: that's where dope millionaire comes from. All right, So that
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: is clever car or clever title. Clever title by clever car.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Two points go to luck be a Shady, be a shady.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: That one is Heath appleby which I believe is Heath's
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: first points for the season. One on Heath. Wow, Okay,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: good one Heath. But three points goes to whole Lotto
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Love Hawks PJH Again he's chloring away. Let's say, like
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: episode ten of the season, it's still halfway through. There's
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: still plenty of time, but Philip J. Hawgens is currently
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: nine points ahead. That's an early lead, isn't it. Yeah,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: early lead to Philip J. Hawks. He's back with a vengeance.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Iver Kyle on ten points in second, and Nathan Briggs
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: still in third on eight points. So well done Philip
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: jay Hawgens for getting the three points again. Well you
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: will really earned that, j Film and it is I
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: probably it is not rig no no, whatever happened to
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Jared by the way, you need me, Jared, he's just
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: got I think I think ship Philip Ja's back, get
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: out of here. I think he was probably just a
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: little annoyed that every time his name came up would
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: go he named me. Yeah, I see you lead no
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: longer a patriot? All right, guys, Well, thank you so
