- 1:41SPEAKER_02: We've got Elliot, we've got Bear, we've got Ava.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: How are you guys today?
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: I'm doing good.
- 1:47SPEAKER_02: Our segment today is titled What's Going On With the Lunchroom?
- 1:52SPEAKER_02: Let's get a nice round of applause for that.
- 1:56SPEAKER_02: Yes, yes, yes.
- 1:58SPEAKER_02: Alright, so what's going on with the lunchroom?
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: Each uh for this segment, each one of our fourth grade students was given a test to make a claim about what's going on in the lunchroom.
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: We're gonna let each one of them talk and then we'll and then we can ask some questions about why they have the claim they have.
- 2:15SPEAKER_02: Alright, let's start with you, Bear.
- 2:16SPEAKER_02: You're right in the middle.
- 2:17SPEAKER_02: Bear, what's going on with the lunchroom?
- 2:19SPEAKER_02: What's your take?
- 2:20SPEAKER_07: I think the one good main course are the chicken drumsticks.
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: Ooh, okay.
- 2:26SPEAKER_02: Now why?
- 2:26SPEAKER_02: Why what Elliot's already disagreeing?
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: Why is that?
- 2:30SPEAKER_07: They're just deep fried to perfection.
- 2:32SPEAKER_07: You don't need a fork to eat them, and they're actual chicken.
- 2:36SPEAKER_02: Actual chicken?
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: We're sure.
- 2:38SPEAKER_02: Because they're it has a bone.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: Well, that's true, but it could be a it could be bat, fried bat.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: No, I'm just kidding.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: It's I'm pretty sure it's chicken.
- 2:45SPEAKER_02: I've never eaten that again.
- 2:47SPEAKER_02: Alright, okay.
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: Alright, okay.
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: Uh Ava, what's your claim?
- 2:52SPEAKER_07: Why is there like when you have potato and the cheese, why is there like a thick layer on the cheese?
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: Ooh, that's true.
- 3:03SPEAKER_02: Okay, like a thick well, what do you mean a thick layer?
- 3:06SPEAKER_07: It's like a thick cheese layer that's like hard.
- 3:09SPEAKER_07: So like when they press on it, it like sinks into the cheese.
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: Well, tell me about this cheese layer.
- 3:14SPEAKER_02: What's your research?
- 3:16SPEAKER_07: Thick and hard.
- 3:18SPEAKER_07: People like have to peel it off to get to the cheese.
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: Ooh.
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: Oh, so this isn't even, I thought it was like the cheese layer was like that.
- 3:25SPEAKER_02: So you before you even get to the potatoes, it's on there.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: Oh my.
- 3:29SPEAKER_02: That is not good.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: What else?
- 3:31SPEAKER_07: It sort of looks like wax.
- 3:33SPEAKER_07: Like they put a wax layer on the cheese.
- 3:36SPEAKER_07: I don't know why.
- 3:37SPEAKER_07: It's just disgusting.
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: That just seems I oh, Elliot, what is your claim?
- 3:43SPEAKER_04: I think mini pepperoni calzones are the best lunch option ever.
- 3:48SPEAKER_02: Ooh, okay, why?
- 3:50SPEAKER_02: We'll have a debate on this one.
- 3:51SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 3:52SPEAKER_04: It is spicy.
- 3:53SPEAKER_04: It makes my tongue water like the ocean.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: Ooh, good.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: Other people like the ocean.
- 3:58SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 3:59SPEAKER_02: So he so immediately we got pushback from your classmates.
- 4:03SPEAKER_02: Bear, why why are you saying the mini, is it the pepperoni calzones?
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: Why are those not working?
- 4:09SPEAKER_02: They're not moving in the needle for you, Bear?
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: No.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 4:17SPEAKER_07: They're not deep fried.
- 4:20SPEAKER_02: So it has to be fried for bear.
- 4:22SPEAKER_07: What is you with fried stuff?
- 4:24SPEAKER_02: You're crazy.
- 4:26SPEAKER_02: You know, Bear, we really don't have that much fried stuff.
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: Like we literally, and I don't think that chicken is fried.
- 4:30SPEAKER_02: I think it's baked, technically.
- 4:32SPEAKER_04: Deep fried.
- 4:32SPEAKER_04: Same with the chicken tendies.
- 4:35SPEAKER_02: The chicken tenders are I I would say the chicken tenders, you have a better claim.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: The pepperoni calzones are not great, Elliot.
- 4:40SPEAKER_02: I think you're a little overselling them a little bit.
- 4:42SPEAKER_07: I don't like the crust on them.
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: The crust is weird, I would agree.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: Uh-uh.
- 4:46SPEAKER_02: Is that what you guys had today?
- 4:47SPEAKER_02: Did you have the top?
- 4:48SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 4:49SPEAKER_02: What did you have today?
- 4:50SPEAKER_04: The menu pepperoni calzones.
- 4:51SPEAKER_02: See, he did.
- 4:52SPEAKER_02: See, that's he's trying to be topical.
- 4:54SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 4:55SPEAKER_02: I have a question for each of you, okay?
- 4:57SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 4:58SPEAKER_02: If you could have one of the school lunches every day, which one would it be?
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: I'm starting with Ava.
- 5:03SPEAKER_07: The pancakes.
- 5:04SPEAKER_07: Some people think they're really.
- 5:06SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 5:06SPEAKER_07: Some people think they're really soggy, but if you put them in too much like syrup, they will be soggy, but they're really good.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: Interesting.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: Bear, what about you?
- 5:15SPEAKER_02: I think I know the answer.
- 5:16SPEAKER_07: You do.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: The chicken drumsticks just doing it for you.
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 5:21SPEAKER_07: It's with you.
- 5:22SPEAKER_02: I I Bear, I've I gotta be honest with you, I've seen that drumstick.
- 5:26SPEAKER_02: You are a brave soul, man.
- 5:27SPEAKER_02: I that thing, I it's crazy.
- 5:30SPEAKER_04: I can't even get through the first layer.
- 5:32SPEAKER_02: I mean, I guess Bear's face.
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: He's just like, what are you people talking about?
- 5:37SPEAKER_02: It's so good.
- 5:38SPEAKER_02: And Elliot, yours is pepperoni.
- 5:40SPEAKER_07: Rolls just many pepperoni cousins.
- 5:42SPEAKER_07: I okay.
- 5:44SPEAKER_07: If I had to choose, I might have chosen orange chicken.
- 5:48SPEAKER_02: But regardless, hey, but regardless.
- 5:50SPEAKER_07: You are crazy.
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: Regardless, though, friends, we are grateful we have food every day in our bellies, and we are thankful for those who do it.
- 5:58SPEAKER_02: Alright, great segment, guys.
- 5:59SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 6:00SPEAKER_07: Woohoo! Subscribe.
- 6:02SPEAKER_07: If you don't, I'm coming to get you.

- 6:12SPEAKER_07: Um, I'll start and my hot seat is probably probably reading.
- 6:25SPEAKER_07: Yeah, reading because I don't like reading.
- 6:27SPEAKER_07: Wow.
- 6:28SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 6:29SPEAKER_07: What about your guys?
- 6:31SPEAKER_07: Uh my hot seat is probably Nidos because they're too popular.
- 6:43SPEAKER_07: It hurts my heart.
- 6:44SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 6:44SPEAKER_07: Zoe is obsessed with Nidos.
- 6:47SPEAKER_07: That um okay.
- 6:48SPEAKER_07: Adelaide, what about you?
- 6:50SPEAKER_07: Probably Pokemon cards.
- 6:52SPEAKER_07: Oh, I agree.
- 6:57SPEAKER_07: Well, what's better?
- 6:59SPEAKER_07: Baseball cards are a lot better.
- 7:01SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 7:01SPEAKER_07: They're actually real people.
- 7:02SPEAKER_07: Pokemon cards are stuff that's made up from some Japanese artists.
- 7:06SPEAKER_07: I thought you liked Pokemon cards.
- 7:08SPEAKER_07: I know, I thought you were like a Pokemon card.
- 7:09SPEAKER_07: I used to.
- 7:10SPEAKER_07: Then my dad put gave me all of these like baseball cards from his attic.
- 7:15SPEAKER_07: So.
- 7:17SPEAKER_07: Okay, well, my cool throne is squishies.
- 7:22SPEAKER_07: Needoves.
- 7:23SPEAKER_07: So like how?
- 7:25SPEAKER_07: Those should not be in a way.
- 7:26SPEAKER_07: They relieve your stress and they're cute and they're squishy.
- 7:32SPEAKER_07: And they're popular.
- 7:33SPEAKER_07: What could be better?
- 7:34SPEAKER_07: And if they're left in a car for too long, they heat up and get too and if they get too hot, they explode and you get a second degree burn.
- 7:42SPEAKER_07: Oh.
- 7:43SPEAKER_07: That's for a microwave.
- 7:45SPEAKER_07: Like if I live in Arizona, maybe.
- 7:47SPEAKER_07: But like it just gets soft.
- 7:48SPEAKER_07: That's why all the packaging said do not put in microwave.
- 7:53SPEAKER_07: It's because they explode.
- 7:54SPEAKER_07: Then why do YouTubers do it?
- 7:56SPEAKER_07: Why do random YouTubers do it?
- 7:58SPEAKER_07: Because they're YouTubers and they do that to make money.
- 8:02SPEAKER_07: Okay.
