- 0:25Speaker 2: my mind. But then when I started this thing and
- 0:29Speaker 2: I knew that I caught you off guard, it eluded
- 0:32Speaker 2: me saying saying Pea Strick. So I apologize. It's okay,

- 0:52Speaker 2: So earlier in the week I sent everyone on the
- 0:54Speaker 2: show a text message and.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Only two people responded.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Was it one of your corny, ridiculous dog jokes or memes?
- 1:05Speaker 1: No, it was not.
- 1:06Speaker 3: What was it?
- 1:07Speaker 1: It was about the.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Very exclusive nick specific orange theory class that I want
- 1:17Speaker 2: to invite the entire cast to and.
- 1:22Speaker 1: It must have must have got lost in the mail.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Huh, yeah it did. Who's going?
- 1:27Speaker 1: Who's going? Dylan?
- 1:29Speaker 3: Okay?
- 1:29Speaker 1: And her dad?
- 1:31Speaker 2: Oh that's sorry.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I am also going to be there.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Are any of your friends that also do the Orange
- 1:39Speaker 3: Theory with you going as well?
- 1:40Speaker 1: Yeah? We have about twenty Oh that's going to be.
- 1:43Speaker 3: A huge group. That's going to be insane. As for
- 1:46Speaker 3: if I will be there, it depends.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. I'm not trying.
- 1:51Speaker 3: It does depend. I know you're not putting me on
- 1:53Speaker 3: the spot, but I just got my silk press, which
- 1:57Speaker 3: is my hair. I got my hair straightened, and once
- 1:59Speaker 3: I sweat or get in the pool or get it wet,
- 2:02Speaker 3: it goes back to curly. And I don't think I
- 2:04Speaker 3: want to go back into that form yet.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I get it. I definitely understand what that means.
- 2:10Speaker 2: But uh, it just means if you just wanted to
- 2:13Speaker 2: go and walk, then you could.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Honestly, I'll probably show face. I'll probably show up. Will
- 2:19Speaker 3: I work out? I don't know. I think I just
- 2:21Speaker 3: might jump in with the Orange Theory person and say
- 2:24Speaker 3: run faster, n it.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I actually think that's pretty funny like like that.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Am I going to come in as the coach?
- 2:30Speaker 1: I don't know like what the class is going to be.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I've been promised it's fun, so I mean, just get
- 2:37Speaker 2: ready for a real fun time. That's awesome, And we're
- 2:41Speaker 2: planning on grabbing at least one drink afterwards.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Oh well, you may have fun with that one. No,
- 2:49Speaker 3: I'll definitely show face.
- 2:51Speaker 1: But I don't bet Jimmy's is right around the corner.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I don't think I'm gonna sweat out my hair, but
- 2:55Speaker 3: I will come and record you and yell at you.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Okay, that's fair, that's great. So I big news in
- 3:02Speaker 2: my world is the Royal Rumble. The ww Royal Rumble.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Ready to rumble?
- 3:10Speaker 2: That's kind of right. It's coming to State Farm Stadium
- 3:14Speaker 2: next year. Two nights and I texted really the same
- 3:20Speaker 2: people that are going to be an ors theory.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I texted entire group.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I was like, hey, I know how this story ends,
- 3:27Speaker 2: but I would be you know, I would be remiss
- 3:30Speaker 2: if I didn't check. Is anybody interested in going to
- 3:33Speaker 2: the Royal Rumble with me?
- 3:35Speaker 1: Either one or both nights in January?
- 3:39Speaker 2: And I will let you guess the responses I received.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Okay, I guess Wait.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question. Do you think anyone
- 3:47Speaker 1: committed to yes?
- 3:48Speaker 3: No?
- 3:49Speaker 1: I don't like correct.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I think if the only person that would commit to
- 3:53Speaker 3: yes would be like maybe your wife because she feels
- 3:57Speaker 3: bad for you.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I don't know. She went to the Royal Rumble with
- 3:59Speaker 1: me before and she.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Didn't she didn't love it. I feel like you probably
- 4:03Speaker 3: got a lot of the laughing emojis, a lot of the.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Haa things, a lot of memes, a lot of memes,
- 4:09Speaker 2: a lot of comments like oh, it's Hull Cogan coming back.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's been dead for a year.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. We were talking about earlier on the show,
- 4:18Speaker 3: earlier this week, like when you knew it was over,
- 4:20Speaker 3: Like you knew it was over when you remember you remember.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Where we did?
- 4:24Speaker 3: This?
- 4:24Speaker 1: Is this our last Arizona spin?
- 4:26Speaker 3: No, no, listen, it does have something to do with
- 4:28Speaker 3: what you just said, which is why I brought it up.
- 4:30Speaker 3: I was dating someone and they told me that their
- 4:33Speaker 3: friend was Hulk Colgan's daughter, and I was going to
- 4:36Speaker 3: school for criminal justice and I did my research and
- 4:39Speaker 3: it was not Hulk Holgan's daughter, and I was like,
- 4:41Speaker 3: you idiot, and I ghosted that.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Wait so wait, wait, wait, wait a minute.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Somebody told you in college that they were friends with
- 4:51Speaker 2: Brooke Hogan.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I was dating this person and they said.
- 4:54Speaker 1: That they were friends with.
- 4:56Speaker 3: With Whole Colgan's daughter, and I was like, this is
- 4:58Speaker 3: not Hulk holgan'sati your show me a picture of someone
- 5:01Speaker 3: that does not look like this girl on Google and
- 5:03Speaker 3: they were They were like no, she told me.
- 5:06Speaker 1: And I was like, well, you're dumb, So what a
- 5:09Speaker 1: weird flex?
- 5:11Speaker 3: Right, Like that's gonna impress me?
- 5:14Speaker 2: Like, do you do you remember hul Cogan's daughter, Brook
- 5:18Speaker 2: She had a song that trended in like pop music. No, yeah,
- 5:22Speaker 2: I can't remember what it was, but like it was
- 5:24Speaker 2: it was an era of music where like Paris Hilton
- 5:27Speaker 2: had like a number one song and Brooke Hogan had
- 5:30Speaker 2: a number one song. And for I still think for
- 5:36Speaker 2: someone of your age to be friends with Brook Hogan,
- 5:39Speaker 2: who I think is my age, just doesn't doesn't sound real. Also,
- 5:45Speaker 2: we're talking like almost twenty years ago that this song
- 5:49Speaker 2: was trending, So like, Brook Hogan has not been relevant
- 5:53Speaker 2: a long time, So why would you choose that person
- 5:56Speaker 2: to say that you're fame?
- 5:59Speaker 3: I guess I don't know, but it was really.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Embarrassing for she. She actually really misses her dad, she
- 6:05Speaker 2: posts on the shirt.
- 6:07Speaker 3: I meantime, that's awful. I mean you al I mean,
- 6:09Speaker 3: it's so tough when you lose a parent. I don't
- 6:11Speaker 3: know what I would do.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't have to tell me. Yeah, I know.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I'm I just live in a glass case of emotion.
- 6:17Speaker 3: It's got really dark, so it has some trauma he
- 6:23Speaker 3: has to work through.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Speaking of trauma, did you watch the Travis Barker documentary?
- 6:29Speaker 3: No, but I did see his whole clip where he
- 6:31Speaker 3: said that his daughter Alabama Barker had this promination that like, Daddy, no,
- 6:35Speaker 3: please don't get on the plane. The roof is gonna
- 6:38Speaker 3: fly off.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Like that's crazy, Like I don't I don't hide it,
- 6:44Speaker 2: like Blanky Too is pretty much fifty percent of my
- 6:47Speaker 2: entire life. And hearing him speak on this plane crash
- 6:54Speaker 2: was like weirdly like super emotional for me because he's
- 6:59Speaker 2: never about it before. And I remember at the time
- 7:04Speaker 2: like it was like he got on the plane crash
- 7:07Speaker 2: and then Blink Wait two got back together, and then
- 7:09Speaker 2: the first time I got to see Blink Way Too live.
- 7:12Speaker 2: The date was postponed because dj Am died and he
- 7:19Speaker 2: also had survived the plane crash.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and it was like this whole full circle moment.
- 7:25Speaker 2: And my kid, one of my my son wore the
- 7:30Speaker 2: T shirt from that show in Saint Louis last night,
- 7:34Speaker 2: just randomly picked he picked it out of my drawer
- 7:36Speaker 2: and I.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Was like, like it was just like where am I
- 7:39Speaker 1: right now? I am just feeling everything.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Yeah, you are a little a ball of emotions.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Yeah. Again, this is just how I lived art seeing.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Your idols like speak about things that they went through.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Like dramatic events from your idols translate to traumatic events
- 7:55Speaker 2: that you survived to.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Totally and it just it just reminds you that like,
- 7:59Speaker 3: not only are the celebrities, but they're real humans.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:02Speaker 2: And I've never been in a plane crash, but boy
- 8:04Speaker 2: it sounds pretty bad.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:06Speaker 2: All right, we got more Arizona Spin coming up right
- 8:08Speaker 2: here in Fox ten Extra. I want to talk to
- 8:10Speaker 2: you about sequels. Peyton, that sound good, I'm good, all right,
- 8:14Speaker 2: We'll be right back.
- 8:14Speaker 1: It's Fox Set Extra, John Jane Rich.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I almost did it again. I almost gave you a
- 8:19Speaker 2: fake nickname. It's Arizona Spin on Fox Seat Extra. You're
- 8:23Speaker 2: spending your Saturday night with Nick and Peyton from the
- 8:26Speaker 2: John Jaye Rich Show, which you can catch every weekday
- 8:29Speaker 2: morning on one oh four to seven Kiss Affirm from
- 8:31Speaker 2: five until ten am. Also, we're giving away iHeartRadio Music
- 8:34Speaker 2: Festival tickets.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that's going to be such a fun show.
- 8:37Speaker 3: I'm gonna be there.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I Are you going?
- 8:39Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 8:39Speaker 2: I mean, but I keep hearing it through, like because
- 8:42Speaker 2: I work in like the office, like next to the studio,
- 8:45Speaker 2: and I hear offhandedly that you're going. But I didn't
- 8:49Speaker 2: know if that was like a for sure or if
- 8:51Speaker 2: you like you were manifesting it.
- 8:52Speaker 3: No, I'm definitely going. I got to go last year
- 8:55Speaker 3: and it was really awesome because I really wanted to
- 8:57Speaker 3: see Gloilla, Mariah Carey and Tat Cray and it was
- 9:00Speaker 3: so fun, but it was so last second, like I
- 9:02Speaker 3: literally was like, Rich, can you please get me into
- 9:05Speaker 3: this festival? I really want to go. But this year
- 9:08Speaker 3: I started the ball rolling a little bit early. Ye,
- 9:10Speaker 3: So we're definitely going because me and my brother, we
- 9:13Speaker 3: don't want to we don't want to drive. We wanted
- 9:14Speaker 3: to fly, so I wanted to make sure we could
- 9:16Speaker 3: lock it and get our plane ticket.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I really really really want to see Weezer and
- 9:23Speaker 2: I okay.
- 9:25Speaker 3: All right, these are out of all people bro Bts,
- 9:28Speaker 3: Zara Larson, Cardi b are you kidding me? Major Laser.
- 9:33Speaker 2: You didn't even mention the Snoop dog I listeen Snoop though. Well,
- 9:39Speaker 2: I mean whatever, I haven't seen Weezer in like twenty years,
- 9:43Speaker 2: and that's not an exaggeration. And it's always like, weirdly
- 9:48Speaker 2: been on my bucket list to work the festival because
- 9:52Speaker 2: for the twelve years that I've been involved in the show,
- 9:55Speaker 2: I've seen basically everyone else go yeah, and I have not.
- 10:00Speaker 1: And it's like, do I do it?
- 10:04Speaker 2: Like absolutely, I would go as like a spectator, but
- 10:07Speaker 2: just to be like a part of the event involving Yeah,
- 10:09Speaker 2: I think sounds like a fun time and you.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Always I mean, and here's the thing. Last year I
- 10:14Speaker 3: went as a sectator. We had seats, we were in
- 10:16Speaker 3: the crowd. It was so awesome and so fun. But
- 10:19Speaker 3: because of what we do for a lambing, like you're
- 10:21Speaker 3: gonna run into your colleague, you're gonna see people. I
- 10:23Speaker 3: got to sneak backstage for a little bit and meet
- 10:25Speaker 3: some really awesome people. In our industry, which was super cool.
- 10:28Speaker 3: But yeah, I'm excited because I have the best time,
- 10:31Speaker 3: like with my little brother Jalen. We're fifteen months apart,
- 10:34Speaker 3: and I swear it is just like a movie anytime
- 10:37Speaker 3: we got in. Yeah, and it's funny because we actually
- 10:39Speaker 3: really didn't like each other up until like the last
- 10:41Speaker 3: couple of years.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I saw him post on your birthday.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Ye I'm glad we're friends now or whatever, and I
- 10:47Speaker 2: was like, what a what a fun like brother sister post?
- 10:51Speaker 3: Yeah, it was, it was. It was really cool. He's
- 10:53Speaker 3: he's a good guy and he's fun. He takes care
- 10:55Speaker 3: of He's a stockbroker, so he has like way more
- 10:58Speaker 3: money than I do. And it's so fun whenever we
- 11:00Speaker 3: go out because he pays for it.
- 11:02Speaker 2: It's like, I'm getting you these tickets that I got
- 11:05Speaker 2: for why don't.
- 11:06Speaker 3: You That's why I take him to all like the
- 11:08Speaker 3: meat and great experiences. I'm like, this is my my payment.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Uh says speaking of brother's sister relationship and this, and
- 11:17Speaker 2: I'm all over the place, so I said, so I apologize.
- 11:18Speaker 3: That's okay, please go. That's that's not unusual for.
- 11:22Speaker 1: You, my son.
- 11:25Speaker 2: We've talked about birthdays before, Like do you remember like
- 11:28Speaker 2: having like a really unique birthday theme, like something like different.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Well, I had a birthday that was all about me
- 11:37Speaker 3: and there was pictures of me everywhere, all on my
- 11:39Speaker 3: cake up.
- 11:40Speaker 1: So a Peyton birthday.
- 11:45Speaker 3: I am my birthday and that happened yesterday. I threw
- 11:50Speaker 3: a birthday everyone dressed like me.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Im like I'm like, I'm like asking you did something unique.
- 12:01Speaker 2: It's like in our office there are Peyton like giant faces.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Like like all over the walls. And you're like, oh, well,
- 12:10Speaker 1: the unique thing is I had my face on things.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Yeah, no, okay, unique theme, I don't know.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I don't know, like like I think the kids are funny,
- 12:20Speaker 2: you know, just overall kids are fine. I think I've
- 12:22Speaker 2: seen kids have like target like yeah, yeah.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Just just something like that. Uh.
- 12:30Speaker 2: So, we've been talking to my son about what he wants.
- 12:33Speaker 2: He turns five in October, and we would talk about
- 12:36Speaker 2: what he wants to do for his fifth birthday and
- 12:39Speaker 2: he was like, I want to go to ktr I
- 12:41Speaker 2: want to go to Slick City.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I want to do this. I want to have a
- 12:44Speaker 1: bunch of friends. I want to have no friends.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Like he's going back and forth and we're like, well,
- 12:47Speaker 2: what about like a theme buddy, do you want Bluie?
- 12:50Speaker 1: Do you want Mario? Like what are you thinking? Uh?
- 12:54Speaker 2: And he has this stuffed animal or stuffy named he
- 12:59Speaker 2: named it Juice. See, and he's like, I want a
- 13:01Speaker 2: juicy theme birthday party. And meanwhile, my wife and I
- 13:06Speaker 2: know that Juicy is the kool Aid Man.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Oh yeah, so he all he knows about the kool
- 13:19Speaker 4: Aid Man is that he's got the stuffy.
- 13:22Speaker 3: No, that's epic, dude, what a dope? What eight? And
- 13:25Speaker 3: for the adults, kool Aid is like the best mix.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You can't You're not gonna twist my arm?
- 13:33Speaker 3: Sounds like a great time?
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yeah, well you were.
- 13:35Speaker 2: You were invited with his first so might as well
- 13:38Speaker 2: be here for this one too. But he, uh, we
- 13:41Speaker 2: got the invitations back and it is I.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Mean, it's hilarious. It's like for like.
- 13:48Speaker 2: And we've shown him like, hey, these are these are
- 13:52Speaker 2: some of the things that you can we can we
- 13:54Speaker 2: can buy for your birthday. We're showing him, I'm showing
- 13:56Speaker 2: him like kool Aid Man T shirts from the TikTok shot.
- 14:00Speaker 2: And every day, it's been a week, every day since then,
- 14:03Speaker 2: he's asked, is his is kool Aid?
- 14:06Speaker 1: Is this juicy shirt?
- 14:07Speaker 3: You've shown him the kool Aid commercials when he walks
- 14:10Speaker 3: in through the door, and he's like, oh yeah.
- 14:12Speaker 2: The only reason, the only reason we haven't is because
- 14:16Speaker 2: we're afraid that it'll scare him.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Stop. You need to do You need to show him
- 14:21Speaker 3: right now and just be like and then.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yes, there's full like kool Aid Man costumes that we're buying.
- 14:27Speaker 3: I have to do that, and then you can do
- 14:29Speaker 3: Have you seen that the saxophones are getting louder trend? No,
- 14:32Speaker 3: it's like they sound so like in a lot of
- 14:34Speaker 3: like black movies, they'll have the saxophones that play in
- 14:36Speaker 3: the background before like something dramatic happens. So you could
- 14:40Speaker 3: be like showing my kid the kool Aid commercials for
- 14:44Speaker 3: his kool Aid theme birthday party, and it's just THEO
- 14:46Speaker 3: being traumatized his kool Aid man.
- 14:50Speaker 1: It's very that's very funny.
- 14:52Speaker 3: You need to do it, Okay, No, that's that's actually epic.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Like I always loved my birthday and stuff, but we
- 14:57Speaker 3: always just did like I remember one year my dad
- 15:00Speaker 3: at a block party. Yeah, and we like literally like
- 15:03Speaker 3: had slipping slides and kool Aid and not kool Aid
- 15:06Speaker 3: but snow cones and like all kinds of stuff. But
- 15:08Speaker 3: we never really did like specific themes.
- 15:09Speaker 2: I do feel like that's changed, probably within let's say
- 15:13Speaker 2: ten years, is that kids like pick themes, because like
- 15:16Speaker 2: if I had a theme for my birthday parties when
- 15:19Speaker 2: I was like a kid, it was always just like
- 15:21Speaker 2: people brought me Ninja turtles.
- 15:23Speaker 1: So that would be your like streamers.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Or see the cutest Oh yeah, yeah, I did see
- 15:29Speaker 3: the cutest theme though for a little two year old girl.
- 15:31Speaker 3: And when I have a kid and it's a girl,
- 15:33Speaker 3: I'm definitely gonna do this. You remember the brand limited to.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Yeah how cute?
- 15:38Speaker 3: Limited to stop?
- 15:40Speaker 1: Dude? My daughter is so into like that type, like the.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Justice limited to cutesy girlie.
- 15:48Speaker 2: You will see her once a week wearing a Spice
- 15:50Speaker 2: Girls shirt.
- 15:51Speaker 1: She's got yeah, like the.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Thick gotten here into band two not she needs.
- 15:56Speaker 1: To do bots on her band town.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I will send her a picture, Okay, I expect that
- 16:01Speaker 2: to be her next thing.
- 16:03Speaker 1: She Miss Peyton was so nice and Miss Peyton did this,
- 16:06Speaker 1: and then she's going to be more obsessed with you
- 16:08Speaker 1: then than she already is.
- 16:10Speaker 3: I mean she's not. I mean she's cool for that.
- 16:12Speaker 1: And she does I come in like fourth of just
- 16:16Speaker 1: people she likes. On The John Jay and Rich Show.
- 16:19Speaker 2: This has been Arizona Spin on Fox SAT Extra. Tune
- 16:21Speaker 2: in John Jay and Rich Monday morning at five. We
