- 0:01Speaker 1: The play is in confused. Podcast is rated M for
- 0:03Speaker 1: marijuana no minors, but your audience is only.
- 0:08Speaker 2: I'm gonna tee off on Burger King real quick. King
- 0:11Speaker 2: potential sponsor out the window exactly. Burger King had a
- 0:13Speaker 2: potential to sponsor this podcast, not anymore.
- 0:16Speaker 1: McDonald's. It's all you. McDonald's. You got it.
- 0:18Speaker 2: You got a sponsor us now because Burger King no,
- 0:21Speaker 2: oh no, what they do you can get it your way, did.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Not get it. I got it far from my wind.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Now let me tell you so.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Uh well, you know when I DJ every weekend of
- 0:29Speaker 2: my life, it seems I'm DJing various you know, this
- 0:32Speaker 2: event or that event whatever. Right, So I go to
- 0:35Speaker 2: DJ a wedding. Normally, if I go DJ wedding, I
- 0:37Speaker 2: get McDonald's. But if I DJ like a club or
- 0:39Speaker 2: a bar or something else, I get Burger King. I
- 0:41Speaker 2: have a schedule where I go afterwards after the gig,
- 0:44Speaker 2: the post gig ritual, you know, so the other night
- 0:47Speaker 2: DJ the casino. Okay, that means that you get Burger King. Right,
- 0:50Speaker 2: this has happened to me at least three four times.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Now you roll in Burger King, which, mind you, they're
- 0:54Speaker 2: open till one o'clock one thirty. I want to say,
- 0:56Speaker 2: it depends, I guess, but yeah, uh, you roll in
- 0:59Speaker 2: the drive through it like twelve twelve thirty, you order
- 1:03Speaker 2: a whopper and they proceed to say they're out of
- 1:05Speaker 2: beef completely, those grills are off. How is burger King
- 1:10Speaker 2: out of beef? You mean to tell me that I
- 1:13Speaker 2: can't get a burger at Burger King?
- 1:15Speaker 1: Then close? Like why are you still open? Yeah? That's
- 1:18Speaker 1: a valid point. I mean I've gone to that.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I know exactly which Burger King you went to, probably
- 1:22Speaker 2: and they've done that to me too, So it's not
- 1:25Speaker 2: just you, it's just the the BK etiquette, the BK
- 1:29Speaker 2: out the window.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, but you're right? Why stay open? What
- 1:32Speaker 1: they're open until?
- 1:32Speaker 3: What time?
- 1:33Speaker 1: Why?
- 1:33Speaker 3: Three?
- 1:33Speaker 2: I think they're open until one or two? Maybe they're
- 1:35Speaker 2: open till two. That's even worse.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Yeah, close, then what are you doing? So let me
- 1:41Speaker 1: ask you?
- 1:42Speaker 3: Did you blame them though? Couldn't you really like.
- 1:44Speaker 1: If you work there, would you want to?
- 1:46Speaker 3: Like? Man?
- 1:46Speaker 1: You know, would you be I don't think it. I
- 1:48Speaker 1: don't know. I don't think that the dude was lying
- 1:51Speaker 1: to me when he said they didn't have beef. Oh okay.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I don't think it's that they just didn't want to
- 1:54Speaker 1: make it for me.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I think they genuinely didn't have it because every other
- 1:57Speaker 2: weekend I'm going there and most of the time I
- 1:59Speaker 2: get a whopper.
- 2:00Speaker 1: But a handful of times now they're out of beef.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Maybe they miscalculated that day.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:05Speaker 2: The funny thing is that he goes, well, I can't
- 2:08Speaker 2: make you a whopper, but I can make you a
- 2:10Speaker 2: plant based, impossible whopper or whatever.
- 2:12Speaker 1: It's pretty good. I'd rather eat my foot.
- 2:15Speaker 3: So what did you end up?
- 2:16Speaker 1: I believe that. So let me ask you, what would
- 2:18Speaker 1: you have done in this situation?
- 2:19Speaker 3: What are my options?
- 2:21Speaker 2: Your options are you can turn around and go to
- 2:23Speaker 2: the slowest McDonald's in all of America, where you're gonna
- 2:27Speaker 2: wait for forty five minutes for a quarter pounder, or
- 2:30Speaker 2: or you can get chicken at Burger King.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Chicken and Burger King. I'm already there.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I get chicken, and I did the same the
- 2:36Speaker 1: original chicken sandwich.
- 2:39Speaker 2: No, I got the wraps. I got the wraps, all right.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Because it's interesting then, because it's the fast food war.
- 2:45Speaker 2: So the fast food wars heating up. Now you know
- 2:47Speaker 2: McDonald's has the snack wraps back, but they conveniently did
- 2:50Speaker 2: not bring back which wrap, the honey mustard rap.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Maybe they're holding on holding out.
- 2:56Speaker 2: No, I think they're I don't think they're going to
- 2:58Speaker 2: do it. They just have muh, what is it, a
- 3:00Speaker 2: and spicy mayo something like that. Yeah, so Burger King
- 3:04Speaker 2: now has the honey mustard chicken wrap.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Oh to combat that.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Huh. Literally just red that Wendy's is closing three hundred.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Wendy's really underperforming, Wendy.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Have you been to a Wendy's in the last They're
- 3:19Speaker 3: never I guess honestly, excluding a bunch of sponsors here,
- 3:22Speaker 3: but they just they're not good anymore. I disagree. Really.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:27Speaker 2: See, I'm not a fan. Fast food can suck as
- 3:29Speaker 2: bad as it wants to. I just don't care.
- 3:31Speaker 3: It's great because it's convenient and it's easy, and I
- 3:33Speaker 3: didn't make it, so that's why it tastes great. Arby's
- 3:36Speaker 3: Arby's is my f I love Arby's. Army Hardy's as well.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Never had heard only because I think there is no
- 3:44Speaker 3: Hardy's in the area. So it's like I like it
- 3:46Speaker 3: because I can't get it and then when I get it.
- 3:48Speaker 3: If I had it.
- 3:49Speaker 2: All the time, I don't think i'd like Is the
- 3:50Speaker 2: only Hardys in the area? Is that the one on
- 3:52Speaker 2: the turnpike. Is that still open?
- 3:53Speaker 1: I don't tell.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I think the closest one is, like on the way
- 3:56Speaker 3: to Chambersburg.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Is Hardy's the beaver and the logo.
- 4:00Speaker 3: No, it's like a it's like a star. Don't say beaver,
- 4:06Speaker 3: that's what that's BUCkies BUCkies. But that's so that's like
- 4:10Speaker 3: a gas day. It's like a it's like a big.
- 4:12Speaker 2: What's a Hardy?
- 4:14Speaker 3: Is a McDonald's. Oh?
- 4:15Speaker 2: Really like burgers? Yeah, it's a fast food chain that. Yeah,
- 4:18Speaker 2: it's like a burger.
- 4:19Speaker 3: It's like again, I think I like it just because
- 4:21Speaker 3: it's you can't really get it around here. It's like, oh,
- 4:23Speaker 3: I like it. Yeah.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Royal farms.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Royal farms. Is never had royal farms either, Dude, road
- 4:29Speaker 2: trip one day.
- 4:30Speaker 3: We're gonna go. That's just it.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Though I don't want to go to a.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Gas station for chicken. I don't think you're gonna want
- 4:35Speaker 2: to go back. It's very good. One of my friends
- 4:38Speaker 2: just had it for the first time the other day,
- 4:39Speaker 2: and he wrote back to me like, this is the
- 4:42Speaker 2: this is the real deal. I'm like, yeah, as far
- 4:43Speaker 2: as like fried chicken, you want it quick and pretty
- 4:46Speaker 2: pretty damn good, Royal Farms.
- 4:48Speaker 3: We gotta squirrel out there, looks like he's going to town.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Like, what is he going to town on?
- 4:53Speaker 2: I can't Yeah, he's not going down on a whopper
- 4:57Speaker 2: from Burger King because they're probably out of him.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Yes, there's a score outside of our studio.
- 5:01Speaker 3: There is.
- 5:02Speaker 1: His name is Fred. It's the regular squirrel.
- 5:03Speaker 2: What if it's a girl, Well, I guess it could do.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Look at that thing that ain't no girl.
- 5:09Speaker 3: I don't know what the word would be for my generation,
- 5:12Speaker 3: our generation when you're like being boomery. But I think
- 5:18Speaker 3: that we lived through the golden age of fast food
- 5:22Speaker 3: in like the late nineties, early two thousands. It was,
- 5:26Speaker 3: it was. It was much better than Yeah.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Yeah, Taco Bell is just I think Taco Bells held
- 5:31Speaker 2: their standards, you know what I mean. I think that
- 5:33Speaker 2: they're still pretty damn good. I think they taste like
- 5:36Speaker 2: that they did in the nineties. Taco Bell, to be
- 5:38Speaker 2: honest with you, is probably my least favorite fast food.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Oh that's sad. I guess it is. I'm a fake stoner.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I guess. I don't know. I just didn't grow up
- 5:45Speaker 1: on it.
- 5:46Speaker 3: I still get intim I get to the drive, I forget.
- 5:49Speaker 3: I have no idea what I ordered every time I've gone. Ye.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Well, and that's the thing too, with the names at
- 5:54Speaker 2: Taco Bell, everything's so involved and that's a lot of
- 5:57Speaker 2: the Mexican pizza. It couldn't be know what I mean,
- 6:00Speaker 2: Like the five Taco five rap Supreme.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you something.
- 6:07Speaker 3: I'm supreme.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I'm kind of a purist with when it comes to
- 6:11Speaker 2: Taco Bell and most fast food places. When I go
- 6:13Speaker 2: to Taco Bell, I don't want anything fancy. I don't
- 6:15Speaker 2: ever get those fancy you know, well three named freaking
- 6:19Speaker 2: food like foods, I just don't get them. I love
- 6:21Speaker 2: a bean burrito from there. I like a burrito supreme
- 6:24Speaker 2: from there. What makes it supreme, by the way, is
- 6:27Speaker 2: sour cream and tomato.
- 6:29Speaker 1: That's it. That's it.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Wow, Taco Bell manual, right. I used to work there
- 6:37Speaker 2: was one of my favorite jobs. I'm telling you, supreme
- 6:40Speaker 2: that up. I would go back to Taco Bell and
- 6:42Speaker 2: work there because it was pretty good.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Yeah, if you could. I'm just saying like there was
- 6:47Speaker 3: just it was the best time. The food was cheap,
- 6:50Speaker 3: Like I would skip lunch in high school and drive
- 6:53Speaker 3: to McDonald's and get the two dollars Big Max special
- 6:57Speaker 3: two Big Max for two bucks.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Yeah, Big Max for two dollars. Yeah, insanity. And when
- 7:02Speaker 2: we had lunch, when we had lunch break in high
- 7:04Speaker 2: school back in our day, and I've graduated and two Yeah,
- 7:07Speaker 2: but we only had like forty minutes, forty five minutes
- 7:11Speaker 2: to get.
- 7:11Speaker 3: I was close.
- 7:11Speaker 2: I was close enough I could do it. You were
- 7:13Speaker 2: allowed to leave it privileges.
- 7:16Speaker 3: I wasn't, but I did it.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I wasn't allowed to until senior year, and
- 7:21Speaker 2: I definitely didn't do it in my freshman, sophomore, or
- 7:25Speaker 2: junior years.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Come to get you now? Yeah? Should I press the button?
- 7:28Speaker 3: And should we start the podcast?
- 7:29Speaker 1: Oh?
- 7:30Speaker 2: I didn't even realize we were recording. Just kidding, Let's
- 7:33Speaker 2: start the show. I have forgotten to click record a
- 7:36Speaker 2: handful of times. That's a shame when that happens, I
- 7:38Speaker 2: tell you. Okay, anyway, Hello.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Though Blazed and Confused podcast with Becker and Joel, The

- 8:02Speaker 2: You know what we're really good at starting traditions and
- 8:06Speaker 2: then not doing them.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Yeah, what do we forget to do?
- 8:10Speaker 3: Well?
- 8:10Speaker 2: The past few episodes, we haven't done the area code thing.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Oh oops, So what episode number is this?
- 8:15Speaker 3: Thirty four? Thirty four? Man, thirty four number? I was
- 8:20Speaker 3: on like number three?
- 8:21Speaker 1: Look at that?
- 8:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you were on twice. Actually this is your third
- 8:25Speaker 2: time on. You are officially a regular? All right, all right,
- 8:27Speaker 2: So while I'm looking up area code thirty four yep,
- 8:30Speaker 2: three four zero. Well I'm looking that up, you can
- 8:33Speaker 2: intro our guest. Oh, by the way, I'm Becker. Oh
- 8:37Speaker 2: that's Joel Hi. He's a friend of mine. Another friend
- 8:41Speaker 2: of ours is here today. He's officially a regular on
- 8:43Speaker 2: the show. His name is George Whacker. Everybody of Leehighvalley
- 8:46Speaker 2: with Love media, Oh man, nice, thanks for having me.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Absolutely what's been going on with Leehigh Alley with Love.
- 8:52Speaker 3: I just was on a tour with Joel. Actually he
- 8:54Speaker 3: met my daughter.
- 8:55Speaker 1: We went on the Oh you got it, we went
- 8:57Speaker 1: on the lights. Dude. She's great.
- 9:00Speaker 3: He was she was actually talking about him out. She's
- 9:02Speaker 3: like Joel. Joel said that I was the most relatable
- 9:05Speaker 3: person on the bus. She was, and it was she
- 9:09Speaker 3: thought it was the best thing.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Your daughter, Dahlia and my sister or who he relates
- 9:13Speaker 2: to the most appairly. That's not good and a nine
- 9:16Speaker 2: year old, Yeah, sister's forty five, forty six, look.
- 9:22Speaker 3: At all age ranges. Joel speaks to the masses.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Yeah, just those two though.
- 9:27Speaker 2: No, you know why, Well, we were on a we
- 9:29Speaker 2: were on a holiday light tour where we were going
- 9:31Speaker 2: around and giving prijes away to the best holiday lights,
- 9:34Speaker 2: right and no, we pulled up to one house and
- 9:37Speaker 2: a couple of the lights were burnt out or something.
- 9:39Speaker 2: And she looked at the house from right as soon
- 9:41Speaker 2: as we pulled out, and she she looked at the
- 9:43Speaker 2: house and goes.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Those bulbs are burnt out. Zero.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Yes, I like the scoring system, I think, yeah, yeah, man,
- 9:52Speaker 2: they had a lot and give him a chance, like nope.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Sorry, that was a good time, wasn't it.
- 9:57Speaker 3: It was. It's when like when you're halfway through through it,
- 10:00Speaker 3: we're in some more township or something in the back roads.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Everybody's things are down there it was power was out.
- 10:06Speaker 3: We get to the one house, Yeah, and they're on
- 10:08Speaker 3: a generator just because we were coming out there. That's
- 10:10Speaker 3: pretty cool. Yeah.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:13Speaker 2: We loved all the lights so much that I think
- 10:14Speaker 2: we gave everybody music fest tickets, so everybody got a prize.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Congratulations. Yeah.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that's you talk about starting traditions like,
- 10:23Speaker 3: that's one we've done for two years now. I'll do
- 10:25Speaker 3: that forever. That's awesome. Like to go out and see
- 10:27Speaker 3: there are places you never like houses. I kind of
- 10:30Speaker 3: would never venture down that road.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, putting Christmas lights like that in your
- 10:35Speaker 2: yard too, Man, a lot of work. There's companies now
- 10:38Speaker 2: you can hire that do it for you. That's what
- 10:40Speaker 2: I We put out a couple inflatables.
- 10:43Speaker 3: It's fun. Some of these are insane.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Do you take them down yet? Second week?
- 10:47Speaker 3: Yeah, we took it because he's yeah once it's like
- 10:50Speaker 3: a week ind it's time. It's time. And that was
- 10:53Speaker 3: the longest holiday break of all time.
- 10:54Speaker 1: It's so funny you said that.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I was just looking in that corner right now and
- 10:57Speaker 2: I was like, something's missing from there, and I'm like, oh,
- 10:59Speaker 2: your tree's gone.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, it was gone. Last weeknight. My tree
- 11:02Speaker 1: still up.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I was going to take it down this week, but
- 11:04Speaker 2: I unfortunately fell and hurt myself, So I'm so much for.
- 11:08Speaker 1: A jogging is New Year's resolution.
- 11:09Speaker 2: For the last episode, he was making fun of me
- 11:11Speaker 2: because I said, you know, I've been working really hard
- 11:13Speaker 2: at walking in a lot of hiking and stuff, and
- 11:15Speaker 2: then I dropped a bunch of weight and I wanted
- 11:17Speaker 2: to be able to do some jogging by May. But
- 11:20Speaker 2: this is going to kind of halt those plans. But
- 11:22Speaker 2: look at him laughing at me. I'm not laughing at all.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Look at him smiling. Come on, well, why do you
- 11:28Speaker 2: look at me and say, look at him smile? And
- 11:30Speaker 2: what am I supposed to do?
- 11:32Speaker 1: You look like your hat right now, your smiley face hat.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 11:35Speaker 2: But anyway, yeah, my tree is still up. It's behind
- 11:37Speaker 2: my couch that I can't currently move. But people are
- 11:39Speaker 2: coming over tonight, so maybe we'll put it away. But yeah,
- 11:42Speaker 2: unfortunately broke some ribs and uh, I'm still doing the show,
- 11:46Speaker 2: so I showed up. Right, I'm gonna hurt for hours
- 11:50Speaker 2: because of this spot. It's worth it, God, Yeah, that's
- 11:52Speaker 2: why we should heal the ribs, right, Yeah, it's just
- 11:56Speaker 2: the breathing is the worst part. But well, then don't
- 11:59Speaker 2: do it. I'm trying not to try not to go
- 12:02Speaker 2: a little easy on that or laugh and then I
- 12:04Speaker 2: came to the wrong place. Anyway, It's episode thirty four.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Where are people listening in the area code zero three
- 12:09Speaker 2: four or three four zero?
- 12:11Speaker 1: Okay?
- 12:11Speaker 2: So three four zero is the US Virgin Islands, which
- 12:15Speaker 2: I feel like we had before, did we not? Well,
- 12:18Speaker 2: we haven't gotten to thirty four yet, so I don't
- 12:19Speaker 2: think so. I don't know, but I feel like we've
- 12:21Speaker 2: had the Virgin Islands was another area code before that
- 12:24Speaker 2: we've had, Uh, then we screwed that up. I think
- 12:26Speaker 2: maybe probably we're screwing up right now. Sounds about right.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Zero three four. According to mister Google serves different regions globally,
- 12:35Speaker 2: notably for.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Hey, Haley, Holly h A L L E. Haley, Halle Halle,
- 12:45Speaker 1: Holly Berry, Holli Saley. Do you know where that is?
- 12:49Speaker 3: Holly Berry?
- 12:49Speaker 4: Now?
- 12:50Speaker 3: H A L L E Holly Celassie?
- 12:53Speaker 1: Is that?
- 12:54Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, Well that's Ethiopian.
- 12:56Speaker 2: It's like h A L l E s A A
- 12:58Speaker 2: L E. Well, cheers to our Ethiopian listeners. May Or
- 13:03Speaker 2: may notfe Was that a sneeze?
- 13:05Speaker 3: Huh? Was that a sneeze? A silent sneeze? That was incredible?
- 13:08Speaker 3: Do you see how I did that?
- 13:09Speaker 2: If I sneeze like that right now, my entire body
- 13:12Speaker 2: would combust because Mike Ribs are so fucked up. Apparently
- 13:15Speaker 2: it's not good that you It's called holding in your sneeze.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Apparently it's not good. I do that, but not on
- 13:19Speaker 2: a scale like that. I've never seen that before. I
- 13:22Speaker 2: can't believe you sneezed and no one else except for
- 13:25Speaker 2: me realized that. How'd you you just saw my I
- 13:27Speaker 2: saw you go like real dainty. I think you've never
- 13:32Speaker 2: heard of the silent sneeze before.
- 13:33Speaker 1: I've heard it.
- 13:33Speaker 3: I've just never witnessed you do it. Oh, that's the
- 13:36Speaker 3: sign of a true professional.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, Johnny see, I don't want to have
- 13:40Speaker 2: you the listening audience. You have to hear my sneeze.
- 13:42Speaker 2: So if you're on the radio and you hear Joell
- 13:44Speaker 2: going like ninety five ones easy.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Oh that was ac DC had a sneeze, but it
- 13:50Speaker 1: was silent.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Ah, well done anyway, George Whacker is here, Yeah, you're
- 13:58Speaker 2: answer some trivia questions Georgie, how the podcast works.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Sure? How complicated did it be for us?
- 14:05Speaker 2: It's very comple It's very complicated. Somehow we screw something
- 14:09Speaker 2: up every time. But we're getting better and it's our show. Yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 2: so then we're allowed to screw it up.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I love breaking the rules that I make.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Wow, you're very good at that, breaking the rules that

- 15:49Speaker 3: Yeah, this us, this Leo Valley would love.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that's you, guys.
- 15:52Speaker 2: I took that from your website and I thought it
- 15:54Speaker 2: was really funny because I love I love the way
- 15:55Speaker 2: you worded it that it deserves all that is coming
- 15:58Speaker 2: to it. It almost sounded threatening. But also take it
- 16:03Speaker 2: out your water.
- 16:04Speaker 3: It's one or the other.
- 16:05Speaker 2: But it's all been fantastic, so it really does make sense.
- 16:08Speaker 2: So thanks for being here today, man, Absolutely, just little
- 16:10Speaker 2: shameless plug for you. I remember I was in middle
- 16:13Speaker 2: school when Lehigh Valley with Love followed me on Twitter.
- 16:17Speaker 3: This guy, he's up and coming.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I remember. I remember, Man, there.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Was a days too. We talked about golden days of
- 16:24Speaker 3: fast food, the golden days of Twitter. I would be
- 16:26Speaker 3: at work and just be on Twitter all day.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Time.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Do you still scroll Twitter every day or excell me?
- 16:31Speaker 3: Personally? I'm on it, but not No, I'm not on
- 16:36Speaker 3: there for anything other than I check a couple of
- 16:39Speaker 3: tweets and I have access to it. But if I
- 16:41Speaker 3: lost access, I don't think i'd cry.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I was out with a bunch of friends.
- 16:44Speaker 2: We were talking about social media platforms that we no
- 16:46Speaker 2: longer use, and my one buddy goes, well, I only
- 16:48Speaker 2: use X for news, and I thought, great, that's just great.
- 16:53Speaker 3: That's just you know, there's definitely still some accounts.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Just there are for me.
- 17:01Speaker 3: When you're scrolling through and you see some stuff that
- 17:03Speaker 3: you're like, wow, I should not be looking at that.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like the wild wild West of social media.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Not cool?
- 17:11Speaker 2: Yeah, damn all right, anyway, wrap it around. Let's go through
- 17:14Speaker 2: your your answers. Here is six times seven six seven?
- 17:19Speaker 3: God, I hate that shit.
- 17:21Speaker 1: The answer to that one, by the way, it was
- 17:22Speaker 1: forty two. Yeah, yeah, after you calculated it up.
- 17:25Speaker 2: But you know what, though, you were probably in the
- 17:27Speaker 2: same generation as a teacher saying, well, you're.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Not always gonna have a calculator with you.
- 17:31Speaker 3: I always going to be with you.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Is that how they talk?
- 17:35Speaker 3: Yeah? My da wanted. My daughter, who's nine. Her new
- 17:38Speaker 3: Year's resolutions is to do more to get better at math.
- 17:41Speaker 3: She's a great reader, but just like me, not a
- 17:44Speaker 3: big fan of math. But we know we gotta use it.
- 17:47Speaker 3: So you know, this wasn't I gotta be in the
- 17:49Speaker 3: right mindset.
- 17:50Speaker 2: That's where you and your daughter and Joel differ. She
- 17:52Speaker 2: wants to get better at math that she's going to
- 17:54Speaker 2: actually try. He has no aspiration to become better.
- 17:58Speaker 3: I got a phone.
- 17:59Speaker 1: He's just gonna be used in that phone. Yeah, you're right,
- 18:01Speaker 1: just like everybody else. All right.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Anyway, what country is famous for perfecting croissants? France? But
- 18:07Speaker 2: they originated in Austria. Yeah, and you said Switzerland was
- 18:12Speaker 2: John blank here? I'm not sure.
- 18:14Speaker 3: I thought. I don't know, to be honest, seven times
- 18:17Speaker 3: six is forty two forty seven? I was off.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Just read this next one again? Control Who'sier? It's Hoosier?

- 18:34Speaker 2: that's different?
- 18:35Speaker 1: Is that how you pronounce that?
- 18:36Speaker 3: Dude?
- 18:36Speaker 1: It's Hosier. Hosier.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Oh yeah, totally, And this is Hoosier.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Everybody says it different, like if I'm a little Hose,
- 18:43Speaker 2: I'm Hosy and you're Hosier than me.
- 18:45Speaker 1: You know it's Hosier. I'm just making up ship. I'm
- 18:48Speaker 1: on a different planet.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Everybody pronounces his name different anyway, Hosier. Which state is
- 18:53Speaker 2: the hose?
- 18:55Speaker 3: Wosier? Hoosier? Who? Who?
- 18:58Speaker 1: Like a bird? Who? Whoo hoo's your state? What the
- 19:01Speaker 1: hell's a Hoosier?
- 19:02Speaker 3: That's a good question.
- 19:05Speaker 1: You don't even know.
- 19:06Speaker 3: You don't even know.
- 19:07Speaker 2: I think it's a dog. Chatchipt guaranteed you guaranteed human.
- 19:11Speaker 2: This is an iHeart radio podcast where we're guaranteed human.

- 19:16Speaker 1: Hoosier. Isn't that like a damn or something? Hoo's your damn?
- 19:19Speaker 1: I think it's a dog.
- 19:20Speaker 3: It means like they're friendly, like.
- 19:22Speaker 1: A friendly dog.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Yeah, the Hoosier state. That don't sound friendly at all. No,
- 19:27Speaker 2: it doesn't. Hoosier sounds insulting. Yeah, more rapid around here.
- 19:31Speaker 2: The first female vice president, Kamala Harris pronounced correctly very good.
- 19:35Speaker 3: It still bothers me when people intentionally screw that up.
- 19:38Speaker 1: What do they say, like kamelo or Camellia ah, it
- 19:41Speaker 1: bothers me. All of it bothers me. Harry Camelia harries,
- 19:46Speaker 1: how many valves does a heart have?
- 19:47Speaker 2: For on the periodic table, which element has the symbol
- 19:51Speaker 2: H e ilium?
- 19:53Speaker 1: Yeah, would you have gotten then?
- 19:55Speaker 3: Uh?
- 19:55Speaker 1: Yeah, probably? Okay.
- 19:56Speaker 2: I took chemistry twice, so yeah, he probably got better
- 19:59Speaker 2: at it the second.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Yeah, so much better. I could have been a chemist.
- 20:02Speaker 2: The main organ in the respiratory system the lungs. The
- 20:06Speaker 2: US state that's famous for gumbo, Louisiana. I don't think
- 20:10Speaker 2: I've ever had that. And the city that's home to
- 20:12Speaker 2: the Notre Dame.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Cathedral, Paris, got that sang there, did you?
- 20:17Speaker 3: Yes?
- 20:17Speaker 2: Had a recital concert there with a Mace High school
- 20:20Speaker 2: corral when I was seventeen.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Just a recital. You let your practice, you need to leave,
- 20:23Speaker 1: no recital.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I was in like a concert that was open to
- 20:26Speaker 2: the public and there was like a couple hundred.
- 20:28Speaker 1: People just stand at which was awesome. Nice.
- 20:30Speaker 2: That was before the fire a couple of years and
- 20:33Speaker 2: later then after that that's the whole pretty bird.
- 20:36Speaker 3: That's pretty neat. They uh, but they had a massive
- 20:40Speaker 3: fire there and then piece by piece they like super
- 20:44Speaker 3: gluted all together like a giant jigsaw puzzle.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Is that not amazing?
- 20:48Speaker 3: Some national treasure for that? How do you do that?
- 20:50Speaker 1: Though?
- 20:51Speaker 2: It takes a lot of patience, God bless Yeah, a
- 20:53Speaker 2: lot of math science, Yeah, in math, yeah, chemistry probably to.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Use their much chemistry was involved in rebuilding you're chemistry.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:05Speaker 2: We did the recital concert there and the whole time
- 21:07Speaker 2: I'm thinking, isn't that hunchback dude's supposed to see?
- 21:11Speaker 3: Like the most historic places in the Europe. I got
- 21:15Speaker 3: a lot of some burger kings.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I bet the burger Kings in Paris have floppers way better.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Yes, when you're.
- 21:25Speaker 4: About to learn absolutely nothing, go Blazed and Confused podcast.
- 21:30Speaker 2: So I was reading online that the weed market in Michigan,
- 21:34Speaker 2: of all places, Michigan, the weed market there is crazy.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I guess.
- 21:38Speaker 2: The marijuana is for the most part like unregulated. So
- 21:42Speaker 2: there's thousands of growers, there's a ton of dispensaries, and
- 21:45Speaker 2: it's really become a game now of naming your weed strain.
- 21:49Speaker 2: You got to come up with a real pungy name
- 21:52Speaker 2: that catches people's attention right away, because I mean, really,
- 21:55Speaker 2: when you think.
- 21:55Speaker 1: About it, we've all done it. We've all bought weed
- 21:58Speaker 1: just because of the strain name.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Right, So I have a list of crazy Michigan weed strains,
- 22:04Speaker 2: like unicorn, poop.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Cheta.
- 22:10Speaker 1: We've had cheat that's been around. One of my favorite
- 22:14Speaker 1: of all the pisses.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Now, isn't it crazy? That cheetah pish? You're like, oh yeah,
- 22:18Speaker 3: this next one. I'm like cat pish, No, no, yeah,
- 22:22Speaker 3: take the cheetah. It's more like a you know, chada
- 22:25Speaker 3: as a cat. Yeah, but it's like strong.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I think of house cat when I think yeah, holds
- 22:30Speaker 2: its ground, donkey butter, Okay, titty sprinkles, purple monkey balls, sure,
- 22:40Speaker 2: blue balls, stinky leg, bubble bath.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I like that one sounds nice.

- 23:42Speaker 2: It's so funny.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Blazed and confused random thoughts.
- 23:48Speaker 2: All right, So someone told me this week that our
- 23:50Speaker 2: podcast is like the modern male version of I Carly,
- 23:54Speaker 2: and I didn't know how to relate to that.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Really, have you.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Ever seen the show car that's kind of past your generation?
- 23:59Speaker 2: I think so used to watch I Carly?
- 24:01Speaker 1: Did you? Yeah?
- 24:03Speaker 3: Huh? Why?
- 24:05Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 24:05Speaker 4: Why?
- 24:06Speaker 1: Just sounds like a little like a teenage girls show.
- 24:08Speaker 3: No, it wasn't.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I don't think that was a girl show. It was
- 24:11Speaker 1: an offshoot and Drake.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Well, it wasn't an offshoot of Drake and Josh, but
- 24:14Speaker 3: it was the same girl that Miranda cosgirl Girl. I get,
- 24:17Speaker 3: I would probably, I mean, I don't want you can
- 24:19Speaker 3: watch whatever you want man finding a girl show?
- 24:23Speaker 1: Excuse me, that's watching a girl show. But would you
- 24:25Speaker 1: agree that we're like you? Not like an old man anyway?
- 24:30Speaker 2: So do you think that we're the modern male version
- 24:32Speaker 2: of I Carly? Does that sound accurate? I don't know
- 24:34Speaker 2: anything about it.
- 24:34Speaker 1: I'd like to hear the reasoning behind that. I don't know.
- 24:38Speaker 1: That's what they said.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and they do like a lot of running around
- 24:41Speaker 3: and like doing stuff though, like well like if you
- 24:44Speaker 3: guys were out in the in the streets.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Carly was a show about two best friends that had
- 24:48Speaker 2: a web series that they were like one of the
- 24:51Speaker 2: first to have a web series, right, okay.
- 24:53Speaker 3: And they would like in their wacky antis no nonsense
- 24:57Speaker 3: all the time.
- 24:58Speaker 1: All right, Well we're silly, you know.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I just I just thought of the yes, when you're
- 25:03Speaker 3: posting those Facebook videos. Yes, now I'm getting it, all right.
- 25:05Speaker 3: That doesn't make sense. I could see it.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Do I know that someone that told you this? No, no, okay,
- 25:11Speaker 2: it was a listener. This is like a random person
- 25:14Speaker 2: that friend of mine, a long time friend of mine.
- 25:16Speaker 2: What else random thoughts. Nineteen seventy seven, Bill Gates was
- 25:20Speaker 2: arrested for driving without a license. Microsoft went on to
- 25:24Speaker 2: use his mugshot outline as the default profile picture for
- 25:28Speaker 2: users and Outlook twenty ten. Look it up. Whow I
- 25:33Speaker 2: like that gray that gray background with the white figure.
- 25:35Speaker 2: That's his mugshot. You can look it up. WHOA, Wow,
- 25:40Speaker 2: that's very cool.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I never heard. Wow, I've never heard that. Where'd you
- 25:43Speaker 1: hear that?
- 25:43Speaker 2: I just heard about it on the internet this week.
- 25:45Speaker 2: I had a lot of sitting around time, so I've
- 25:47Speaker 2: been you sure this is true.
- 25:49Speaker 1: That's I looked it up.
- 25:50Speaker 3: I read a lot of stuff about Bill Gates on
- 25:52Speaker 3: the internet too.
- 25:53Speaker 1: What else, what did you learn file some crazy stut.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Isn't he supposed to be in the.
- 26:01Speaker 3: He's something I don't know. I didn't I was reading
- 26:03Speaker 3: a bunch of stuff about him, though it was totally different.
- 26:06Speaker 1: But yeah, how timely that we brought it.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Delete delete, that's very timeless to talk about that.
- 26:16Speaker 3: It's in the news.
- 26:17Speaker 2: It's not like we don't have it on this sheet.
- 26:19Speaker 2: But we were texting back and forth about it. That
- 26:22Speaker 2: one burglar from home alone talk about random thoughts. Oh yeah,
- 26:26Speaker 2: do you hear about that? I saw that too, Marv,
- 26:28Speaker 2: not Harryt. Was Marv the taller guy. He was arrested
- 26:32Speaker 2: for soliciting prostitution.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Yeah, he can't do that. It's frowned upon, I think.
- 26:37Speaker 2: But then again, though, like I texted you, certain people,
- 26:39Speaker 2: you look at him and you're like, well, you know,
- 26:42Speaker 2: this guy no offense to Marv the burglar, but he
- 26:47Speaker 2: is a wet bandit. He is a wet bandit. He
- 26:51Speaker 2: is in more ways than one now apparently, geez.
- 26:55Speaker 3: I feel you know, it's I feel like we know
- 26:57Speaker 3: too much about some certain people. Yeah, like if it
- 27:00Speaker 3: was if it was legalized and everybody was tested and
- 27:03Speaker 3: it was regulated and you know, consensual, then we wouldn't care.
- 27:07Speaker 1: It's not legal anywhere, right, it's legal. There's a couple
- 27:10Speaker 1: of countries where it is. Well, I know countries Banana, not.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Like I think it's in pocket. I act like I'm
- 27:16Speaker 3: an expert. I have seen YouTube videos. No, I think
- 27:20Speaker 3: in the state. There's some areas, all right, I've never
- 27:23Speaker 3: been to the standard.
- 27:24Speaker 2: He thinks there are speculation. Oh, you want to read
- 27:30Speaker 2: this last one? He read that last one. A lot
- 27:33Speaker 2: of my close friends came to visit me this past week.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Most brought food or just hung out to keep me company,
- 27:40Speaker 2: but not Joel. Thanks. Most people were like that Joel
- 27:44Speaker 2: stop eye is right on the road. I'm like, he
- 27:46Speaker 2: is right down the road, isn't he.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Well maybe he thought ye New York coming over.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sorry that you happen to break fucking nine
- 27:54Speaker 2: ribs on the busiest week of my life.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Could have been like, uh, hey, Becka, We're gonna come
- 27:58Speaker 3: to your house and do the show. No, just look
- 28:00Speaker 3: up all these stairs. We could have Hey, I would
- 28:02Speaker 3: have been more than happy to call. Is I Carly?
- 28:06Speaker 1: Go ahead, Becker, go ahead, go ahead. Read the text
- 28:08Speaker 1: that I sent you this week? Go ahead?
- 28:09Speaker 3: So are you alive?
- 28:13Speaker 1: Sup? You alive? There's another one? S up?
- 28:18Speaker 2: Still breathing? Yeah, I wrote back? What did I write back? Unfortunately?
- 28:24Speaker 3: Unfortunately, unfortunately, it's time for trivia here?
- 28:29Speaker 1: Question number one.
- 28:31Speaker 2: It's funny because I actually wrote these questions the week prior.
- 28:34Speaker 2: All Right, how many ribs are in the human body?
- 28:39Speaker 1: I do not know? And I should.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I want to say sixteen, but.
- 28:44Speaker 1: I feel like that's wrong.
- 28:46Speaker 3: But like eight on each side, right, because eight and
- 28:47Speaker 3: eight and six is sixteen.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Eight plus eight is sixteen. Yes, well, it's a good guess.
- 28:52Speaker 1: And I said, I'm not a number guy, but I
- 28:53Speaker 1: just surprised myself, Thank you very much.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Was that right?
- 28:56Speaker 1: Eight?
- 28:56Speaker 3: Eight sixty eight?
- 28:57Speaker 1: And he has to say final answer? And then oh, okay, okay,
- 29:00Speaker 1: I a l answer? Sure?
- 29:01Speaker 2: Yes, sorry, man, Am I right with the teen part?
- 29:07Speaker 1: No?
- 29:08Speaker 2: No, you actually have twelve pairs twelve twenty four ribs?
- 29:13Speaker 3: There's twelve on each side. Yeah, we're gonna forget that.
- 29:17Speaker 1: But yeah, really you didn't know that either.
- 29:19Speaker 3: You know, seventeen sounded good yeah, I don't know where
- 29:22Speaker 3: that extra seventeen.
- 29:24Speaker 2: It would be an odd number. I said, sixteen. That's
- 29:27Speaker 2: one of the flocking ribs. Yeah, yeah, I guess.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Well, when you think.
- 29:31Speaker 2: About it, your ribs like start all the way up
- 29:33Speaker 2: at like your armpit, don't they. That's kind of your
- 29:36Speaker 2: rib I have a.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Quick one forget hold both of you guys in your
- 29:39Speaker 3: ribcage here in the front. What there's like a little tab? No,
- 29:44Speaker 3: but what's that little thing that hangs out? And that's
- 29:47Speaker 3: why you put your finger there for CPR so you
- 29:48Speaker 3: don't break it off. It has a name.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I forget the name of it.
- 29:51Speaker 2: I know exactly what you're talking about, and it's been
- 29:53Speaker 2: hurting this week, so I know.
- 29:55Speaker 1: I can't remember the name.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Of it though. The zyphoid process, yeah, I knew it was.
- 30:00Speaker 1: It's a weird thing of the process. I was like, yeah,
- 30:01Speaker 1: doesn't makes any sense.
- 30:02Speaker 3: I just remember that from CPR class. I'm like, Dad,
- 30:04Speaker 3: is wild. You can kill somebody that way. Oh, my
- 30:07Speaker 3: ipoid process hurts its throbbing right now.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Who spells iphoid?
- 30:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 30:12Speaker 2: Z y p h O. I d oh, you just
- 30:15Speaker 2: looked it up. No, I think it starts with X
- 30:17Speaker 2: it does it?
- 30:18Speaker 1: Does it? Really? Yeah? Anyway? Question two? Question two?
- 30:23Speaker 4: Question two?
- 30:26Speaker 2: All right, wombats live in what country or continent? I
- 30:31Speaker 2: should say wombats live in what continent?
- 30:35Speaker 1: Is a wombat? Great man? By the way, like the
- 30:39Speaker 1: wombats whole lot.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I don't know much about wombats. Do you know what
- 30:42Speaker 2: a wombat looks like? I think it's like a fucked
- 30:44Speaker 2: up looking monkey. Right, it's like an offshoot of the
- 30:47Speaker 2: monkey family.
- 30:49Speaker 1: The Hey where are the monkey? Great?
- 30:52Speaker 2: Great theme song? Never really seen the show. Great theme song?
- 30:55Speaker 2: Though here we come more like a walk down this
- 30:59Speaker 2: a bear? Yeah, it looks more like a bear. That
- 31:01Speaker 2: doesn't look he's like a groundhog though.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like a copy bear.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Huh? All right?
- 31:07Speaker 2: What a monkey? I was far off with a monkey?
- 31:09Speaker 2: What definitely not a monkey? What country or continent? What
- 31:13Speaker 2: continent do they live on? Africa? No? Wrong, I didn't
- 31:17Speaker 2: say final answer.
- 31:18Speaker 1: All right.
- 31:19Speaker 3: He gave it away in the way that he's been
- 31:21Speaker 3: fumbling over the question. Yeah, what what country that's also
- 31:26Speaker 3: a continent? Oh?
- 31:28Speaker 2: Thank you very much, very good. Now I can't fuck
- 31:30Speaker 2: this up. Don't tell me, don't tell me.
- 31:32Speaker 3: What did you say? What country?
- 31:34Speaker 2: Australia. Oh are you sure Australia. Final answer, It is
- 31:38Speaker 2: indeed Australia.
- 31:40Speaker 3: You got it.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Question three, what is the top number in a fraction called?
- 31:47Speaker 1: Oh? I know this?
- 31:48Speaker 2: So when you put the one number in the slash sign, yes,
- 31:51Speaker 2: I know that their number.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I know this. It's a two parter.
- 31:53Speaker 2: It is a two Well, no it's not because the
- 31:55Speaker 2: top number is called one thing in the bottom number
- 31:57Speaker 2: is another. And you asked me what's the top So
- 31:59Speaker 2: it's a one part okay, and it's a numerator. Final answer,
- 32:04Speaker 2: what's the bottom part? A denominator? You got it? Yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 2: you really surprised me with that. Not a numbers guy,
- 32:11Speaker 2: but I know that one. You're a numerator guy. I'm
- 32:14Speaker 2: a new enumerator denominator guy, dad, And we're all very
- 32:19Speaker 2: proud of you.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Thank you, very good. That was a good one.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Thank you, George. Would you have known that, you know what?
- 32:25Speaker 3: I think I would have said, denominator.
- 32:27Speaker 1: That's the bottom one, that's the bottom one.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't know if I would
- 32:31Speaker 3: have got that one.
- 32:31Speaker 2: I was never big on fractions, but I do know
- 32:34Speaker 2: numinator denominator.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I still to this day, Muminator. Whatever question for twenty what.
- 32:45Speaker 2: All right in which US state was the highest air
- 32:48Speaker 2: temperature ever recorded at one hundred and thirty four degrees fahrenheit?
- 32:53Speaker 1: What US state would it get the hottest?
- 32:56Speaker 4: All right?
- 32:57Speaker 1: In which US state was the highest air temperature ever
- 33:01Speaker 1: recorded at one hundred and thirty four degrees fahrenheit. See, like,
- 33:05Speaker 1: I want to say that it's uh. I want to
- 33:07Speaker 1: say that it would be.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Nevada because you always hear people say how hot it
- 33:13Speaker 2: is in Vegas. But I also think that it's hot
- 33:17Speaker 2: in Vegas because of the humidity, which wouldn't mean that
- 33:19Speaker 2: it's like the air temperature is that hot?
- 33:23Speaker 1: Right?
- 33:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I know what I would guess, So work it
- 33:30Speaker 2: out and think you have technically a lifeline. Yeah, well, George,
- 33:36Speaker 2: what would you guess?
- 33:36Speaker 3: I would guess Death Valley, California, California. But that's just
- 33:40Speaker 3: my one hundred and thirty four degrees that' isn't that
- 33:43Speaker 3: like the hottest place? And if I remember correctly, right,
- 33:47Speaker 3: Death Valley's in California, or maybe I'm wrong, No.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Doesn't Death Valley's in California?
- 33:52Speaker 3: And that would be my guess because I but I
- 33:54Speaker 3: seem to remember that's the hottest place.
- 33:56Speaker 2: But doesn't Death Valley. It's a desert, is it not
- 33:59Speaker 2: that connects to Nevada? Like the desert goes from Nevada
- 34:03Speaker 2: into California, does it not.
- 34:04Speaker 3: I wouldn't be floored if it was Nevada Arizona. I
- 34:09Speaker 3: would just I would guess California.
- 34:13Speaker 1: I think I want to say Nevada. I don't know.
- 34:19Speaker 2: I think I want to Saya Nevada. Final answer, all right,
- 34:23Speaker 2: you are wrong, indeed California.
- 34:27Speaker 1: It was Indeed in California.
- 34:30Speaker 3: I would.
- 34:31Speaker 2: I was really trying hard to not look at anybody
- 34:33Speaker 2: and de mind my own business that whole time. Said
- 34:36Speaker 2: I didn't give anything away, So I think I did
- 34:38Speaker 2: a good job there.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Well, at least I knew what a numerator is. Yes,
- 34:43Speaker 1: you do.
- 34:43Speaker 4: You have the only podcast where you can learn something.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Then forget it.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Two minutes later the Blazed.
- 34:51Speaker 4: And Confused podcast with Becker and Joel.
- 34:54Speaker 3: You don't let me pick categories, so I'm not going
- 34:56Speaker 3: to let you pick categories either.
- 34:58Speaker 1: It's okay, I forgot.
- 34:59Speaker 3: It's all right, guess the year for question one, question
- 35:03Speaker 3: number one.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I'll admit to this is hard. This is very hard.
- 35:08Speaker 2: I asked this at my trivia night this past week,
- 35:10Speaker 2: and I don't think I had one team got this correct.
- 35:12Speaker 2: But it's a damn good question if I don't say
- 35:14Speaker 2: so myself. So, what year was the last payphone removed
- 35:20Speaker 2: from New York City? I feel like it. I feel
- 35:23Speaker 2: like it was very recently. Actually, what year was.
- 35:29Speaker 3: The last payphone removed from New York City's working?
- 35:33Speaker 1: Or was it just there as like a relic and
- 35:35Speaker 1: wasn't connected anything? And I do not know.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Hmm. I would assume they mean like operational, because yeah,
- 35:45Speaker 3: because the telephone company is running it. Yeah.
- 35:48Speaker 2: But then that's an interesting point though, because you do
- 35:50Speaker 2: see a lot of payphones anymore that just sit there
- 35:53Speaker 2: and don't do anything.
- 35:54Speaker 3: They're not I would say that it's removed, it's not working.
- 35:58Speaker 3: They're not going to make it work again.
- 36:01Speaker 2: All Right, I'm gonna say, like two thousand and.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Two thousand and nine.
- 36:11Speaker 3: I will wait, I will guess.
- 36:12Speaker 1: I didn't say final answer.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Oh, alright, then keep going before I passed by judgement.
- 36:19Speaker 1: All right, No, go ahead past your judgment. No, no,
- 36:21Speaker 1: keep going. Good now.
- 36:24Speaker 3: It's like.
- 36:26Speaker 2: I just love how he's like, Oh, I feel like
- 36:27Speaker 2: it wasn't that long ago? Is it two thousand and nine? Well,
- 36:30Speaker 2: now you you made me second guess it because we
- 36:32Speaker 2: were discussing and I was like, well maybe they cut
- 36:34Speaker 2: him off at a certain time, and there were just
- 36:36Speaker 2: some that were lingering, you know, all right, my guess
- 36:39Speaker 2: then if that's the kind of hint you just gave me,
- 36:42Speaker 2: I think it was like twenty twenty four, twenty twenty three,
- 36:45Speaker 2: twenty twenty three, twenty twenty three, final answer, what is it?
- 36:50Speaker 2: Twenty twenty two?
- 36:54Speaker 3: I was right.
- 36:55Speaker 1: I knew it.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I knew it, and then I doubted myself because if
- 36:57Speaker 2: you two fucking clowns, I saw.
- 37:02Speaker 3: A uh man, you know, I don't think it was
- 37:04Speaker 3: working though. When I was in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania this summer,
- 37:08Speaker 3: there was one outside, but I think it was just
- 37:09Speaker 3: like an art installation. Yeah yeah, yeah, you like and
- 37:12Speaker 3: you can pick it up. But isn't that an art installation?
- 37:17Speaker 3: A pay phone like remember this kid?
- 37:19Speaker 2: Yes see, now you probably think that I'm too young
- 37:21Speaker 2: to use a payphone, but I I remember using pay
- 37:23Speaker 2: phones growing up, as.
- 37:24Speaker 3: You remember calling your parents collect so they could come
- 37:27Speaker 3: pick you up from high school.
- 37:28Speaker 1: I used to do that.
- 37:29Speaker 3: Yeah, you would get the thing that like, would you
- 37:30Speaker 3: accept a call from come back, come get you?
- 37:33Speaker 1: It's Mikey practices over pick me up. That's what I
- 37:36Speaker 1: would say. And how much did it cost a quarter?
- 37:38Speaker 3: No? Nothing, because you were scamming the system because.
- 37:41Speaker 2: They would pick up and it would be like you
- 37:42Speaker 2: have a collect call from and it would be you're
- 37:44Speaker 2: supposed to insert your name.
- 37:46Speaker 1: We would just say what we needed to be honest
- 37:48Speaker 1: with you.
- 37:48Speaker 2: I never understood how collect calls works, So now this
- 37:51Speaker 2: makes more sense. So the person that picks up is
- 37:53Speaker 2: the one that pays for it, and they hear the
- 37:54Speaker 2: response from you if you say your name or if
- 37:56Speaker 2: you just deliver the message, and you know, do you
- 37:59Speaker 2: want to accept the you know the.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Call teenagers across America pick up your kid?
- 38:03Speaker 1: Do anything to shave a quarter? Well, yeah, pretty much.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Or something crazy?
- 38:11Speaker 1: You want to know something?
- 38:11Speaker 2: Years ago I got in trouble because I used to
- 38:14Speaker 2: call the w w F hotline or like what's that?
- 38:17Speaker 2: It was like the Worldwide World Wrestling Federation's like you know,
- 38:21Speaker 2: you call and play like trivia games and win prizes.
- 38:24Speaker 1: I racked up a bill, how bill?
- 38:26Speaker 3: How much?
- 38:27Speaker 1: Hundreds and hundreds?
- 38:29Speaker 3: Wow? What was the confrontation, like did they like sit
- 38:33Speaker 3: you down?
- 38:33Speaker 2: For My parents were very easy with me. They would
- 38:36Speaker 2: just you know, talk to me sternly and okay, well
- 38:39Speaker 2: that's good like that. I had a pretty mild upbringing,
- 38:44Speaker 2: Like so.
- 38:44Speaker 3: We're not going to pile drive you?
- 38:48Speaker 1: Yeah? Are you ready for question two?
- 38:50Speaker 3: Here? Sure?
- 38:51Speaker 1: All right?
- 38:51Speaker 2: Music question too? Really like lyric challenge your favorite category?
- 38:57Speaker 1: Here? Oh cool, let's do that one.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Who told you to act your age, not your shoe
- 39:02Speaker 2: size in nineteen eighty six?
- 39:05Speaker 3: Oh never mind, I.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Was gonna go to here too, Who told you to
- 39:11Speaker 2: act your age, not your shoe size in nineteen eighty six?
- 39:16Speaker 2: I have no idea, George, do you know anything about it?
- 39:18Speaker 3: I mean eighty three, I would just I would narrow
- 39:21Speaker 3: it down through.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Eighty six, eighty six at.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Your age, Cindy Lapper?
- 39:26Speaker 1: Your age?
- 39:28Speaker 3: Like who is a pop star there?
- 39:29Speaker 1: At your age?
- 39:31Speaker 2: I was gonna guess like Madonna, or like I say Madonna, I'm.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Not gonna say cindyper No, Cindy Lapper. That's what I
- 39:39Speaker 3: don't know. It seems like a good.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Guest, Cindy Lopper.
- 39:42Speaker 2: I'll go with George, who told you to act your
- 39:44Speaker 2: age not your shoe size in nineteen eighty six, Cindy Lapper.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Yeah, finally answer. The correct answer is Prince. The song
- 39:54Speaker 3: is kids, not your shoes size.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Well, that was a really good one. Did you ask
- 40:02Speaker 1: that at your trivia night? Yeah? How did that do
- 40:04Speaker 1: with everyone else? Yeah? Most people do it? Really one?
- 40:08Speaker 1: As you Question three.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Broken ribs? You know, doesn't see doesn't visit his friend?
- 40:18Speaker 2: Who's all right? Brands and slogans? Brands and slogans. Question three?
- 40:24Speaker 2: What car brand used to tell you that quality is
- 40:27Speaker 2: job one?
- 40:29Speaker 1: Ah?
- 40:32Speaker 2: These are hard? Quality is job one? What car brand
- 40:40Speaker 2: used to tell you that quality is job one? Maybe
- 40:42Speaker 2: these are a little hard. Let me find an easy
- 40:44Speaker 2: question for question for hold on, let me.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Go easy on.
- 40:49Speaker 3: I'd be more guessing at this one.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Than quality is more than a job? What is the thing?
- 40:54Speaker 3: Quality is job one?
- 40:56Speaker 2: Job one? Quality is job one? What car brand used
- 41:01Speaker 2: to tell you that quality is job one? It sounds
- 41:03Speaker 2: like it would just be like an American, like a
- 41:05Speaker 2: try Ford or something.
- 41:06Speaker 3: Would like an affordability Ford. Let's I would guess so
- 41:11Speaker 3: answer Ford Motor Company? Oh I got it all right, dude,
- 41:16Speaker 3: like Ford quality. They use that in a lot of
- 41:18Speaker 3: their branding. Yeah.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they've got you and.
- 41:24Speaker 1: You doubted yourself, but you just thought it through.
- 41:26Speaker 3: I got it.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Yes, thanks very good.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Okay, let's hope you get this last one wrong question
- 41:33Speaker 2: for since I'm such a nice guy, I'll let you
- 41:37Speaker 2: pick either famous people or guess the year. For the
- 41:41Speaker 2: final question, let you pick the category on one of them.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Famous people would not have gone with that, but okay,
- 41:47Speaker 1: can I go with the other one? No, not anymore.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Maybe we'll ask that as a bonus question just for
- 41:52Speaker 2: shipps and giggles later, famous people. You know a lot
- 41:56Speaker 2: about NASCAR?
- 41:59Speaker 1: You big Nascar.
- 42:00Speaker 2: We went to a NASCAR race over the summer. But
- 42:03Speaker 2: can you name like remember I was like pointing out
- 42:05Speaker 2: all the drivers like I knew them all?
- 42:07Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly?
- 42:08Speaker 3: How many NASCAR drivers can you name off the top
- 42:10Speaker 3: of your head right now?
- 42:13Speaker 1: I don't even know if they're still driving? I have
- 42:15Speaker 1: no idea? Is that?
- 42:16Speaker 3: Uh?
- 42:17Speaker 1: Is Kenny Wallace? One sounds like one.
- 42:21Speaker 3: I could probably name ten, ten like in total that
- 42:24Speaker 3: ever existed.
- 42:24Speaker 2: All right, so let me ask you the question then,
- 42:26Speaker 2: all right? God nicknamed Rowdy.
- 42:29Speaker 3: This NASCAR driver is a two time Cup Series champion
- 42:33Speaker 3: and one of the winningest drivers in NASCAR history, Rusty Wallace.
- 42:38Speaker 1: That would have been my guess. I met him one time.
- 42:43Speaker 3: What are you talking about?
- 42:45Speaker 1: He was there with a radio station and a car dealership.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Rowdy, Rusty Wallace. I don't know why I'm answering. Sounds
- 42:53Speaker 2: like a wrestler too. I'll read it again one more time.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Nicknamed rowdy this Nascar. This NASCAR driver is a two
- 43:03Speaker 2: time Cup Series champion and one of the winningest drivers
- 43:07Speaker 2: in NASCAR history.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Isn't Rusty his nickname? Does he like rowdy? Rusty? Rusty Rowdy?
- 43:14Speaker 3: Maybe not.
- 43:16Speaker 2: I'm trying to think of a NASCAR driver that has
- 43:19Speaker 2: like a reputation for being a dick Rowdy. That's a
- 43:26Speaker 2: tough one. I'm just gonna go with George for like
- 43:28Speaker 2: a guess.
- 43:29Speaker 3: Wait, is that was the other one who was a
- 43:31Speaker 3: jerk to the home depot guy? Right?
- 43:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I don't know the name.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Give me an answer today or we're gonna have to
- 43:38Speaker 3: wait until next week. You were here, How can I
- 43:43Speaker 3: I'll throw one more guests in? Is that fair? Do you? Lifeline? Yeah?
- 43:47Speaker 3: But I don't know if it's him, because it could
- 43:49Speaker 3: be the first guy Tony start.
- 43:51Speaker 1: To Rowdy Stewart.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Now tell me this say't a name to be jealous of.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Kyle Bush.
- 44:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, yes, Rowdy Bush. It's just not really
- 44:11Speaker 3: is that really his nickname? Rowdy Rowdy Bush? I don't know.
- 44:17Speaker 1: That's bad?
- 44:18Speaker 3: All right?
- 44:18Speaker 2: And the guess the year question that you passed up
- 44:21Speaker 2: on significantly easier. I think what year was the infamous
- 44:25Speaker 2: wardrobe malfunction Super Bowl halftime show?
- 44:28Speaker 3: What jers and and four three?
- 44:31Speaker 2: I was going to get two thousand and three or one?
- 44:34Speaker 2: Two thousand and one would be my guest George Wacker
- 44:36Speaker 2: would have been correct two thousand and four. Wow, So
- 44:38Speaker 2: you would have gotten both of them wrong.
- 44:40Speaker 3: I just remember where I was, so I like, I
- 44:42Speaker 3: remember what year because I was in my buddy's apartment
- 44:45Speaker 3: and he only lived there that year.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Do you remember watching that live?
- 44:48Speaker 3: Oh?
- 44:48Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 44:48Speaker 3: So we were like did you just and remember? It's
- 44:51Speaker 3: like you can't Tibo didn't even exist.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Yeah, you couldn't even hop on Google.
- 44:55Speaker 3: No, there's nothing like you. I think you saw it
- 44:58Speaker 3: the next day. I'm like, YEAHO knew. Yeah, Well you weren't.
- 45:02Speaker 3: Yeah it was we were. We definitely were like that
- 45:05Speaker 3: was a lot of stuff that was a lot of exposure.
- 45:09Speaker 2: I still think that whole thing was a scam though.
- 45:12Speaker 2: That and Donald Trump, well, well it was definitely pop.
- 45:15Speaker 2: I grouped the warldrobe, wardrobe malfunction at the super Bowl
- 45:18Speaker 2: and Donald Trump getting shot in the air in the
- 45:20Speaker 2: same category that the it was.
- 45:23Speaker 1: It was made up.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Justin Timberlake is singing gonna have you naked by the
- 45:27Speaker 2: end of this song, and then magically at.
- 45:29Speaker 3: That line her boom pops out come on. There were
- 45:34Speaker 3: like two layers, right, so and he he said that
- 45:38Speaker 3: he mistakenly did both layers and he was just supposed
- 45:40Speaker 3: to do the top layer. But I don't I agree
- 45:42Speaker 3: with you. I don't buy it, and.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Real quick not to you know, hijack the episode for
- 45:46Speaker 2: Meet the Press. But don't you think it's crazy that
- 45:49Speaker 2: we know everything about like all the people that have
- 45:51Speaker 2: shot presidents, right, Like you know who shot Abraham Lincoln,
- 45:55Speaker 2: John Wooks Booth, you know the dude that shot Ronald Reagan,
- 45:58Speaker 2: that John Hinckley and your guy. Isn't it crazy that
- 46:02Speaker 2: we know nothing about the dude that shot Donald Trump?
- 46:05Speaker 3: Should be crazy?
- 46:06Speaker 2: We should talk about this for a couple of hours,
- 46:08Speaker 2: right anyway, I'll let I'll let the listening audience ponder
- 46:11Speaker 2: on that, and let's move on.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Maybe maybe we'll come back to it next week. I
- 46:15Speaker 1: mean we probably won't, but I do find don't you
- 46:18Speaker 1: find it interesting?
- 46:19Speaker 2: I do?
- 46:21Speaker 3: It's time for Uh.
- 46:26Speaker 2: These snacks today remind me of ponder Rosa. I'm going
- 46:30Speaker 2: there with my grandmother when I was a kid.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Uh. Some Andy's mince, you guys like Andy's mince. These
- 46:38Speaker 1: are like after dinner mints. What's super good?
- 46:40Speaker 3: Like my grandma would have a dish out and they
- 46:43Speaker 3: would just always appear and be there, and then if
- 46:46Speaker 3: you ate them all, they would just reappear the.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Next chocolate super good. You can have a bunch of
- 46:52Speaker 2: supper Keith. Yeah, you could just have a thousand of
- 46:54Speaker 2: these and it's fine.
- 46:57Speaker 3: The mint keep me from having a thousand like I can.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Again another local reference of the Ponderosa. What about our
- 47:04Speaker 2: listening audience in the Virgin Islands, I so earlier discussed
- 47:08Speaker 2: tell them about the Ponderosa, because when I hear the
- 47:10Speaker 2: word Ponderosa, I think of where they used to live
- 47:14Speaker 2: on the show what Bonanza. They used to live on
- 47:16Speaker 2: the Ponderosa, And Bonanza wasn't Ponderosa like the prequel a restaurant, right, yeah,
- 47:22Speaker 2: it was Bana TV show. The Ponderosa was a buffet.
- 47:26Speaker 2: It was an American buffet, like just a different American foods.
- 47:29Speaker 2: My grandmother when she would take us, she would always
- 47:32Speaker 2: get food from my grandfather to go, but she would
- 47:35Speaker 2: like stuff these chicken wings in her purse like a
- 47:38Speaker 2: mad woman.
- 47:38Speaker 1: You know.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Wait, like how would she she would go?
- 47:42Speaker 2: She would go up to the buffet with her purse
- 47:45Speaker 2: and a napkin and line her purse and she would
- 47:47Speaker 2: put chicken wings into her bag. I watched this happen wow,
- 47:51Speaker 2: and my family knew about it, that she did it. It
- 47:53Speaker 2: was just very funny. But that's how she would bring
- 47:56Speaker 2: food home to my grandfather.
- 47:57Speaker 3: How many chicken wings?
- 47:59Speaker 2: Like she put up mon there you know, so yeah
- 48:02Speaker 2: you can this is wild. But anyway, ponder Rosa was
- 48:07Speaker 2: a buffet of all kinds of foods. Real quick, before
- 48:09Speaker 2: we get out here, are you watching the videos that
- 48:11Speaker 2: I'm sending you on?
- 48:12Speaker 3: Yeah? Oh yeah.
- 48:12Speaker 1: God texted me about that the other night.
- 48:15Speaker 3: Like so Joel has like a it's funny, Well it's
- 48:17Speaker 3: not funny, like you look, I'm in.
- 48:19Speaker 5: These two videos like now way, it's like I'm into
- 48:23Speaker 5: toenail videos and you're thinking, oh, so Joel appreciates feet
- 48:28Speaker 5: and that's great.
- 48:29Speaker 3: No, these videos are horrific. It's like it's like it's
- 48:33Speaker 3: it's horror movie level stuff. To the point where my
- 48:36Speaker 3: wife saw me watching when she's.
- 48:37Speaker 1: Like, well you okay, what's going?
- 48:39Speaker 3: Who sent you?
- 48:40Speaker 1: Are you okay?
- 48:40Speaker 3: They're horrible?
- 48:42Speaker 1: She was worried about as well being.
- 48:44Speaker 3: They're like medical videos. It's like, how do they How honestly,
- 48:48Speaker 3: how are these even filmed? Who's uploading them to the
- 48:51Speaker 3: internet is bothersome.
- 48:52Speaker 2: It's like dark previously discussed on the Blaze and Confused podcast.
- 48:55Speaker 2: If I wouldn't be in entertainment or music or whatever
- 48:59Speaker 2: you want to say that I do to avoid having
- 49:00Speaker 2: a real job, I would probably have a real job
- 49:02Speaker 2: of being a pediatrist. Not because I like feet or
- 49:05Speaker 2: because I have a foot fetish, but because I enjoy
- 49:08Speaker 2: and I think that the videos of crazy nail clippings
- 49:12Speaker 2: are rather.
- 49:13Speaker 3: Crazy nails change. It's a toenail snuff film. It's it's
- 49:21Speaker 3: some scene, but it's a worse. What you're thinking about
- 49:25Speaker 3: is worse.
- 49:25Speaker 2: But the last time that I saw George Wacker and
- 49:27Speaker 2: his wife. This came up in conversation that I should
- 49:29Speaker 2: have been a pediatrist because I like watching people.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Cut nails, and him and his wife roasted me for it.
- 49:34Speaker 3: So three times a week I'm getting toenails.
- 49:38Speaker 1: So now every time I see one, I feel compelled
- 49:40Speaker 1: to send it to him.
- 49:41Speaker 3: But there's two in the morning when he's like literally
- 49:44Speaker 3: like literally wake up in the morning, like, oh, it's
- 49:46Speaker 3: this morning message, my coffee.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Good morning. Here it's a here's a really heinous video.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Enjoy your dad.
- 49:52Speaker 3: You gotta show Becker some videos just smells here. You
- 49:56Speaker 3: gotta get like you're honest.
- 49:57Speaker 1: We'll get his live reaction. We'll do this really quick. Yes,
- 50:00Speaker 1: that's just about even.
- 50:02Speaker 2: The thumbnail itself is the one that I sent today,
- 50:05Speaker 2: the best one, the.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Best one there's been. If you have to rate these
- 50:10Speaker 1: gross videos, which one's been the best one.
- 50:13Speaker 3: Look at that thing. It's like it's a snail. It's
- 50:15Speaker 3: a baked lay on your freaking toe.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Yeah, tell me you don't want to chalk it.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Every time he talks about every time he talks about this,
- 50:22Speaker 2: he you know, he relates it to chips, and I
- 50:24Speaker 2: hate him.
- 50:25Speaker 3: It looks like a chip.
- 50:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I hate you for it though.
- 50:28Speaker 3: It looks and this poor person whoever this is attached to,
- 50:31Speaker 3: is like hasn't been able to move because a building
- 50:34Speaker 3: has been on them for like four years.
- 50:36Speaker 1: I just see how intently he's watching this video right now.
- 50:38Speaker 3: They're about to flip it around.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Look at this, well they show the back of it.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, there we go, there we go.
- 50:47Speaker 3: Look at that.
- 50:48Speaker 1: You're telling me that's not satisfying.
- 50:50Speaker 3: No, it looks like a banana filot.
- 50:54Speaker 1: There's something about it that does it for me. I
- 50:56Speaker 1: don't get it.
- 50:57Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know.
- 50:58Speaker 2: Check in on ja Unpack here. Thank god, this is over.
- 51:03Speaker 2: I'm Becker. That's my good friend Joel. Our good friend
- 51:05Speaker 2: George Whacker Lehigh Valley with Love. Check him out episode
- 51:08Speaker 2: thirty four in the books. Next time we talk, I'll
- 51:10Speaker 2: be a pediatric. I want my baby back, baby back,
- 51:13Speaker 2: baby back. I was just singing that in my head
- 51:16Speaker 2: and I just said it out loud.
- 51:17Speaker 1: All right. Bye.
